1. Preface

Preface

Okay so I got the idea to do a preface of my story from ArlyssTolero. It is used to provide need to know information, so I do not get confusion or surprise from my readers by the story content itself and have a bunch of dumb questions in the comments of the story. Finally, to address any issues that clash between the story and the established canon of universe(s) it will be taking place in.

This story is the result of many things. One, I got back into the Arrowverse because of the crisis crossover which in my opinion was not that great, which was unfortunate. Two, the quarantine and I need something to do since I have become increasingly bored these days. Three, reading a lot of comics and watching a lot of DC things on the DC Universe app (the ideas specifically from Injustice comics). Four, read a lot of Arrow stories specifically ArlyssTolero stories and the specific one that I enjoyed was The Emerald Archer which sparked the whole idea. This story is going to be AU. All the flashbacks from year 1-5 on the island and beyond are still canon and may or may not be referenced. The only things that aren't are the flashbacks during season 5 of Arrow when Oliver was made to be a monster when he was hunting people on the list it made no sense from what we saw during actual season 1.

I have never written an Arrow story and am hoping that the community is not as toxic as I have heard it can be or from the community that I previously wrote for under a different name. I have liked reading Oliver ends up on a different Earth stories which this story is going to be so warning if you do not like them leave. Oliver will end up on a new Earth. The Pairing is Oliver/Dinah Laurel Lance of the Earth that he has ended up on. This is not a suggestion. This is set in stone. If you were hoping for Olicity than you are out of luck. I hate the pairing. The changes to the cannon of the show are listed below.

Arrow Season 1:

Same except Tommy is not able to save Laurel and they both die with Oliver being with them as they took their last dying breath.

Arrow Season 2:

No Laurel but there is still an Anti-Hood taskforce

Because of Laurel and Tommy's deaths during the undertaking Oliver takes that same vow to not kill to try and be a better man in remembrance of them. But also loses interest in having other romances because of Laurel dying since at the near the end of Arrow season 1 in episode 23 Oliver gives Laurel his speech about how important she is to him and how she is the only honest person in his life and we get the understanding that she is his one true love and the one he cares about the most, so no Sara or Felicity romance.

Moira is still acquitted of her charges

No romance with Oliver and any of the females. He still tries to deceive Isabel though to try and keep Queen Consolidated.

Still uses Felicity to trick Slade. Though no romance comes of it

Sara instead of Laurel talks Oliver out of killing himself when he was going to hand himself over to Slade.

Arrow Season 3:

Sara still dies but she is meeting Sin not Laurel.

With Brick it is Roy, no Black Canary Laurel who must stand against them by himself with the rest of the glades.

Sin instead of Laurel is the one who informs the League Malcolm is still alive and gets them to take him.

Ted Grant is still proven innocent. Sin is the one who vouches that Ted is a good man.

Sin accidentally tells Lance that Sara's dead after thinking The Arrow told him. Which is why Lance still turns against Team Arrow and Oliver.
