Chapter 6:- The Promise

-Within the apartment of the Hololive members, the sight of the same boy known as Azuma Yuuya was seen as he had returned back to the apartment building but was standing at the entrance of the building and as he did, the boy seemed nervous to enter the building as he was hesitant until the sound of a girl's voice was heard speaking out to him from behind. He turned and saw the sight of a girl with long black hair that had a stripe of red hair at the side of her head as she had wolf-like ears and a puffy tail on the end as she had worn a short skirt Japanese yukata and was holding onto a bag of groceries.-

Yuuya: O-Ookami Mio?

Mio: Azuma-kun..? -She tilted her head as she looked at the boy as she would then smile and walk past him and look back at him- Come in, you can have some tea at my place.

Yuuya: R-Right.

-Minutes passed as Yuuya was then seen in a beautiful traditional home that seemed to be made in a moderned designed way as Yuuya was sitting on a pillow within the living room and was playing with the cat that was on his lap. Mio would head to the living room with a tray of tea and snacks for the boy as she would then set them down on the kotatsu and joined the boy as she patted the cat's head softly as it slept on Yuuya's lap-

Mio: Normally, Taiga would run away from strangers but this is the first time I've seen her like this with someone else other than me.

Yuuya: Is that a bad thing?

Mio: No? I think that's a good thing. Well at least, to me. But anyway, what brings you here? You just left this place a few weeks ago, is something wrong?

Yuuya: Ah no, it's just...Stuff. -He nervously said as he drank the tea-

Mio: You're lying, come on, tell me. I'll hear you out and see what's the problem.

Yuuya: Well, I just came here to tell you something that I'm not supposed to tell.

Mio: Oh? Like what?

Yuuya: The end of this world.

Mio: Eh? -As she looked at the boy with a surprised look. Yuuya would stare into Mio's eyes and showed her the vision of the entire planet that she's staying on being completely destroyed as thousands to millions of people were killed. After showing the vision, Mio would nearly faint as she put her hand on the floor to keep her balance as she was breathing heavily and would look at Yuuya with a worried look on her face- W-What was that?

Yuuya: That was something that was meant to be kept a secret. Ookami-san, please promise me one thing.

Mio: W-What..?

Yuuya: Live. Keep living! No matter what, just keep living! -He got close to Mio and held both of her hands as he looked at her closely with worry in his eyes as he expressed fear and when he did, Mio couldn't help but worry for him instead as she looked into his eyes and saw the fear within them- Find a way to keep surviving within the darkness. I'll find my way to you. You as the Pack Leader must lead them and protect them from harm.

Mio: Why are you telling me this?

Yuuya: I cannot change the fate of the planets within the multiverse but I can change the fates of people by telling them what I can tell and the only thing I can inform you of is that you must not die, no matter what. In due time, I'll return and save you and everyone else, okay?

Mio: Y-Yuuya-kun, you're starting to scare me..

Yuuya: I'm sorry but that's all I can say for now but do you promise?

Mio: P-Promise you that I'll keep living?

Yuuya: Yes.

Mio: I-I will! I promise..

-As the boy would let go of the girl's hand, he would get up and back away slowly as a portal would appear behind him as Mio panicked and got up-

Mio: Y-Yuuya-kun! When will I be seeing you again?

Yuuya: It won't be long, trust me.. -As he said, he would then enter the portal as it then disappeared-

Mio: W-What's going to happen to us..? -She asked herself as she began to tear up slowly as she would rub her eyes slowly- I-I don't know why….But...I...Miss him already...
