As Courtney and Cecily have gone into a full-blown makeout session, Courtney's arms around Cecily's neck as Cecily holds Courtney on her lap and holds her waist. Gwen fake coughs to get them to stop.

"Heather and I are going to a movie premiere tonight at midnight." Gwen says.

"Do you want to come, or will you be too busy sucking face?" Heather asks.

"What movie are you seeing?" Cecily asks, intrigued.

"The sequel to Screamo Therapy!" Heather and Gwen say at the same time, holding hands as they face opposite of each other, their other hands to their heart and the backs of their head pushed together.

"It's about this punk-rock dude with cancer," Heather says.

"And it stars Bax Dyer who's mega hot!" Gwen finishes. They show Courtney and Cecily the movie poster. There is a black woman with short black hair staring at a man who has black hair with red highlights, his hair is long on the top and short on the sides. The two are sharing a pair of headphones and the man is in a blue hospital gown wearing a medical mask. The poster says 'Screamo Therapy II - a song to say goodbye' and stars Bax Dyer and Alicia Godfrey.

"Wait, that sounds familiar." Courtney says, remembering. "Duncan bawled his eyes out to that movie."

"Understandably! I'm so scared Alex is going to die at the end of this one." Gwen says in horror.

"Duh, of course he's going to die. He has cancer." Heather says slyly.

"Nooooo!" Gwen screams, her hands clasped together with her eyes shut.

"I've never been to a midnight showing before!" Cecily exclaims. "I WANNA GO! But first I need to ask my mom. Be back in a sec!" She grabs her phone from her pocket and runs to the kitchen to make a phone call. Gwen and Heather look at Courtney, holding back laughter.

"Did she just say she needs to get permission from her mom?" Gwen says.

"To see a movie? That's hilarious!"

"So what if she has a curfew?" Courtney asks, rolling her eyes and crossing her arms. "She's only nineteen."

Instead of laughing, Heather and Gwen look at Courtney in horror, realizing the significant age difference with the lack of independent difference in them.
