And with that, we are at the end of Book 1. As you might have noticed, I do not put Author's notes in the chapters. I feel the story should stand on it's own. Death of the Author and all that.
That said, I thought I would address a few things here. First up, this was Book 1 of 4. I am currently working on Book 2 and have a rough outline for where the story will go for Books 3 and 4. There is a plan in place and this story will have a conclusion. It is not one of those stories that will just keep going as the author gets more and more ideas of things to include with no end planned at all.
Next up, if you want to know when Book 2 is posted, follow me. I do not plan on posting another author's note informing of its posting. It should be within a week or two if posting this, so not a long wait.
And now, answering questions posted in the reviews. Because that is a thing people like.
Dragonaut334Doomed asks:
Is Tanya on her second or third life?
She is on her second. She has not experienced the horrors of war personally yet and is learning a form of magic for the first time.
AnimeA55Kicker asks:
Is that canon Tanya likes spicy food?
No. The only known food preferences she is noted as having is sweets and disliking the military rations. I added it in because I thought it was a nice additional character trait.
Guest asks:
Tanya for Supreme Chancellor? Tanya in the Clone Wars? Tanya a gray Jedi?
Good idea for a different story. Book 2. She won't be called sick in story, but some readers may interpret her that way.
Guests asks:
Wouldn't he (Anakin) be more emotionally balanced if he (Anakin) knew she (Shmi Skywalker) was safe and healthy?
Balanced is not the word I would use. Stable might be better. In general, yes. However, that does not remove the personality traits that lead to Anakin's canon fall to the Dark Side. Anakin has a big heart full of love to give, but he is very possessive of those he gives that love to. He wants to keep those he lives safe and close to him. This leads him extremely vulnerable to being hurt by those he loves for the smallest things. Ahsoka leaving the Order in canon felt to Anakin that she was abandoning him. The division of loyalty the Order through Kenobi placed on Anakin when asked to investigate the Chancellor felt to him that he was being asked to betray someone. He does not do well with betrayal.
woodProtein asks:
Will there be enough butterflies to prevent Darth Vader?
No.
Stylus Opium asks:
Is Tanya getting her first power boost? On her way to becoming a terrifying force to be reckoned with?
Well... a boost in power is involved. Whether it is her power depends on your point of view. And she was always going to be a terrifying force to be reckoned with. Even without powers, she could be a terrifying force if dropped in the right place.
helpusobi1kenobi asks:
but what exactly happened? What's with the messiah talk?
As seen in the next chapter, Tanya was not in control of her body or mouth at the time. This is not like in canon where she basically gets high off of the power and begins spouting prayers. This is a another entity entirely taking over for a time.
animusand asks:
The will of the Force is Being X?
No. Being X, the Will of the Force, the Son Daughter and Father, and other higher beings are separate entities.
This-Mickey-Seems-Iffy asks:
Why gender bender?
Because I didn't want to figure out a male name and this was started before the My Hero Acadamia crossover fic "The Heroic Chronicles of a Young Man" where we get a first life Tenya.
Guest asks:
Will every Jedi and Sith sense in the Force of what Tanya just did back there?
No.
Mark the Mark sorta asks:
Will Tanya and Anakin get together?
They are friends.
IPMay asks:
Can't Tanya just be short?
There are other reasons for me doing this. Many reasons. Some have to do with giving her a specific aesthetic. Others are future plot points. It may seem forced, but I am not doing it just to make her short.
