Chapter 1 Emilia the hero? or not—

Among the busy crowd of XXXX station you'll spot a girl with long coloured magenta hair running through the crowd. With her bright green eyes hastily glances at the train schedule hoping for a train ride that can take her to her work place called ' ente isla ' she works in the morning shift while also attending college near ' ente isla ' in the afternoon.

After confirming she quickly reach to the ticket booth and purchase a train ticket. She then reach to her bag taking out her smartphone. Turning it on, she gaze at her notification mainly came from her best friend ' Rika '. Her message consists of her asking where she is and how late she is, giving her fear that her boss would scold her for another hour or two.

[Rika]

"hello?EMI!!!WHERE ARE YOU??"

Rika's loud voice attracted people in the waiting line making them glance at Emi in disturb but surprisingly enough their expression changed when they sees Emi, after all her beauty seem to exceed a normal mortal, pluss how fashionable Emi is.

"Rika! lower down I'm at the station!" she whispered.

"Emi you better get here soon before—

Rika got cut off for unknown reason though Emi already know the reason.

the boss must have found out...

While she thinks of an excuse to say the train arrives then informing the passenger to aboard. Emi quickly tries to find a seat but unfortunately she ended up standing by a pole. Afterwards she reaches to her destination and make haste out of the train at one point she accidentally bump into someone.

"I-i'm sorry!!!!" she quickly apologizes then continue to run off into the crowd.

"Your late" a short haired girl stood in front of Emi hands crossed while looking at her irritatedly. Emi nervously avoided her glare and quickly apologizes for her delay.

The girl who is Emi's boss calls herself as Eme or Emeralda. She pointed to the dressing room signalling Emi to change her clothes.

"After work, go to my office"

Emi nodded then made her way to the dressing room where she found Rika waiting for her.

"Finally!!! you've arrived!!"she exclaimed wrapping her hands around Emi for a hug.

"yeah, Finally!" Emi said hugging back Rika. She then proceed to change her casual clothes to her working clothes. she Quickly makes her way to the kitchen, helping in what way she can.

"Yusa! can you check the sign outside?" Emi nodded then makes her way to the restaurant sign. After checking she stared at the breathtaking view of the restaurant. It felt magical and Welcoming for Emi. The restaurant is designed to be just like a cabin and surrounded with greenery giving it a forest and foreign vibe. Inside the building it's furniture and accessories that can only be locate from the medieval times giving it an old look but mix with modern settings.

To Emi this place is what she calls home. The people who works here are kind but the thought of her boss can't help but sweat drop. But aside from her strict and bossy personality deep inside she's a caring and a loving person.

Once she enters back to the restaurant she heard her co-worker calling for her

"Yusa! the boss is calling for you!"Emi glance at her busy co-worker and nodded. Reaching to the office she met a cute pouting Emeralda.

"I heard from your parents that your moving to a new apartment"

"Oh yeah, about that" she nervously scratch the back of her head.

"Emi...you know—"

"I know! but I want to be independent for once! Eme!!"Emeralda look at Emi with a worried look. There was a long pause until Emeralda gave in and sigh.

"Have you tried looking for a closer apartment?"Emi's expression changed and happily nodded

"Yes! it's near my school and I can just take a 10 minutes walk to here and there!" Emeralda glance at her cheerful friend reminiscing the memories of her and Emi.

"I'll talk with your parents later, just be sure to keep an eye out of trouble"Emi came forward and hug Eme earning her a scold for hugging her. She then wave her hand to dismiss Emi. But not long another familiar face appeared and it was no other than Rika herself.

"Ah! Emi you heard the news?" one of Emi's co-worker Sachi questions her. Emi simply shake her head indicating that she haven't. Sachi then pointed to the flat screen TV at the wall.

"Last night there was a huge explosion near the station you always go to. You should be careful when heading home ok?" Emi nodded then continue to gaze at the flat screen.

After Emi's long shift they started to close the restaurant. Leaving only Rika and a few co-workers behind.

"Emi thanks for covering my sister's shift" a co-worker said.

"Hmm I'm glad to help, I hope she delivers her daughter safely" After a small exchange. Everyone bid their goodbyes and both Emi and Rika made their way to the station.Gladly enough the station didn't closed because of the incident. Emi glances to the right where the police officers gathers to investigate the scene.

"They haven't finished yet?"Emi ask" I guess not.."they both took a long look at the scene before they made eye contact with one of the officers. Not wanting to get in trouble the two quickly enters the station.

Not long the two arrive at their destination and exited the train together.

"You don't need to always walk me home every night Rika!"Emi exclaimed

"Said the person who got into an accident six years ago!"Rika jokingly bite back

"But that was six years ago!!"Emi pout earning her a head pat from Rika. The two ended up changing their topics and start talking about new fashionable dresses and Emi's college. not long Emi and Rika arrive at a park, the two made a brief stop to have a small drink from a vending machine.

"You seem to always gaze at the sky Emi" Rika said handing Emi a drink. Emi smiles back to Rika and reaches for the drink.

"I don't know why though..." Emi trail's off and takes a sip on her drink

"I just...feels like...I forgot something important"
