"These dragon's that stand before you have all volunteered to bestow upon each of you their magic through an enchantment. You are to choose three dragon's to get their magic from, and no more than three. If I find out that you have chosen more than three then you get executed I don't care if you are a mother or a father I will take care of the child until they are an adult. Now there is a reason I say only three. Any more than that and you run into the probability of exploding with to much magic power within your body. Now choose the three types of magic you wish to learn and then make a neat and orderly line in front of the dragon you choose before going to the second and then final dragon." Naruto ordered.
"When you have all three types of Dragon Magic I want you to form ranks and do it as if we were about to go to war." Naruto ordered the people. The man then looked to Irene "So which three types of Dragon Magic will you be learning my love?" he asked Irene. "Oh that's easy you have Belserion the Sage Dragon, Grandeeney the Sky Queen, and last but not least you have Susanoo the Storm King so I think I'm covered. So what one's are you going to be learning my dear?" she asked the man in return who hummed to himself in thought. To be honest he wanted to learn as many as he could, but he only needed three to make a difference.
So with that in mind he chose "Well I'm going to be learning from Belserion obviously. Then there is Atlas Flame the Hellfire King, and last but not least we have Raiun the lightning Dragon King. With those three different magic's I believe I will have enough diversity to take on any threat that stands before us. However when the time comes I am going to create a special tool that will allow me to use more than the three types I know in which I will learn one more in the form of Grandeeney's Sky Magic for her healing spells are very useful in the field of battle." Naruto said. And for once his words actually made sense to the lovely redhead.
With that everybody got in line before the mighty beasts' with Naruto in front of Atlas Flame first. The powerful dragon born from the darkest pits of hell cast his enchantment like the other dragon's and from his flame body several orbs of magic emerged and floated down to the future warriors that would come to be known as Dragon Slayers. Naruto reached up and grasped he warm orb and then with another enchantment the orb entered his chest. He could feel his chakra coils as well as his magic container expand to accommodate the magic of the dragon, but he could also feel the nine beings within him fade away as they truly became one in both body and soul. Once again the orb was presented and absorbed by his body expanding his already endless pools of Chakra as well as his Magical container. After recovering for the second time all the men and women lined up one last time and this time Naruto was in front of Belserion his old friend alongside his love Irene. One last time was the orb of Dragon Magic presented to them and once again all were absorbed by the future dragon slayer's. When he had recovered from his expanding energies Naruto walked to the front of the entire army and stood proudly. Clearing his throat all the men and women looked up at him and waited for him to speak his words.
He sighed "Now that we have all been bestowed with the magic of the dragon's I want you all to go to separate training fields and start to learn the first magic that you got from the first dragon you lined up in front of no excuses. When and only then you have learned all you can from the first dragon then and only then will you move on to the second dragon and repeat this process until you have once again learned all that it is that you can know. When that is done you will move on to the final dragon whose magic you received and you proceed to learn the things you must from them. When that is done I want you to partner up with someone with the same magic as you and spar to keep your abilities sharp." he ordered.
With shouts of yes sir and on it everyone began to move. Naruto followed Atlas Flame to one of the training grounds and honestly wasn't surprised that there was only ten other people as Atlas was the one dragon with so few people to teach. Atlas stopped in the center of the clearing and turned to face the small group. Clearing his throat the great dragon spoke "Now since this is the first time I have ever had to teach somebody I'm just going to go with how I was taught, albit a lot easier for you guys." the great dragon spoke, Oh boy this was going to be fun indeed, a dragon training humans the way's of dragon magic what fun...
"The key to using Hellfire is to keep a blazing fire within your belly and to never let it die, because if it dies then you can't fight with the hellfire." Atlas told them as they all nodded. "Now for those of you that know Fire Magic this will be a bit easier due to the fact that you have the ability to conjure up flames. What I want you all to do is to feel within yourselves for the magic that I bestowed upon you a few hours ago. It shall feel like a small campfire or a small drop of fire. When you find it I want you to pull on it and draw itt out of your body. Go on." the dragon urged them.
After sitting Naruto got into a meditative position and then just like he had done so long ago when he was unlocking his chakra he began to search within himself for the warm orb of hellfire that had been placed inside his body. When he finally found it he gave a sharp pull on the magic and his body erupted into flame deep red, the same color as Atlas Flame was. Atlas hummed to himself as he watched the rest follow suit and their body's were ignited in the flames of hell. To say that they learned fast was an understatement. "Impressive, now let's get to work on what you need to know about Hellfire Magic." Atlas Flame told the group who listened closely.
Three years later
Three years had gone by and the war between the dragon's broke out. Belserion himself led the charge during the first battle when the fighting broke out. Naruto was now proficient with all three types of Dragon Magic that he alone went to the battles to help while everyone else stayed behind at the castle to train. Naruto and Belserion made a great tag team. When one was taking on a enemy and there was another that was trying to attack them by surprise the other would cover their back and take on the newcomer and drive it back enough for a different dragon to finish off. It was a sight to truly behold.
Naruto stood tall on a mountaintop beside Belserion who wore steel armor of the highest quality that had diamond plates underneath to protect the Sage Dragon in case a enemy managed to get past the steel. So far not many have made it past the first inch of steel. Naruto sighed, he didn't like how easily overwhelmed his friends were and they were losing more dragon's than they could persuade to join their cause to help fight for equality. It was a sad thing to know that their numbers went from hundreds of thousands to mere ten thousand dragons and him in the war. It seemed that now was the time to have the people that trained under the dragon's to join the fray.
"Belserion I want you to take ten of your dragon's and go back to the castle and I want you to alert all the warriors that have been training under the dragon's that now is the time for them to get geared up. The last war has begun." Naruto told his old friend. Belserion looked at the man with calculating eye's "Are you sure? I mean I know you might be positive that they are ready to join, but still this is a war between dragon's many will fall in the line of combat." Belserion said to the blonde who nodded his head. Currently the enemy had well over two-million dragon's and he had nearly three-million humans that used Dragon Magic, it was time.
Naruto nodded his head "Yes my friend I am. I know many of our comrades will fall in their battles with the dragon's but we need to finish this war and stop the needless bloodshed. We both know that this needs to be done." Naruto told the mighty Sage Dragon who nodded his head. Unfurling his wings Belserion took to the skies and gathered his dragon's and left towards Naruto's castle where half his army of Dragon Magic user's waited for their chance to fight. The Dragon King Festival had now truly begun. Naruto wouldn't admit it but he had a really bad feeling about how this war would turn out between the human's and dragon's, and it wasn't good.
An hour later Belserion came to land on the mountain with the dragon's who each carried several hundred people. Naruto nodded his thanks to the dragon's and watched as the group took to the skies and quickly flew back to the castle to bring some more people to the mountain. He could only spare ten dragon's due to the fact that he had to bring all the humans to the mountaintop so he could then lead them into battle. Three hours passed and now his whole army was here ready to lend their support to their friends and comrades. These brave men and women didn't know it, but they were on the verge of changing history forever.
Naruto faced the army "I know some of you doubt yourself for being here, and I don't blame you. However that doesn't change the fact that history is about to be made. Today in less than an hour, people and dragon's from here will join others from around the world, and you will be launching the largest battle in this history of mankind. Mankind... that word should have new meaning for all of us today. We can't be consumed by our petty differences anymore. We will be united in our common interests. Perhaps it's fate that today is the same day our kingdom of peace and harmony was founded so long ago, and you will once again be fighting for our freedom." Naruto told the army.
"Not from tyranny, or inequality but from annihilation. We're fighting for our right to live, for our right to stay peaceful. And should we win the day, we shall declare We will not go quietly into the night! We will not vanish without a fight! We're going to live on! We're going to survive! Today, we celebrate our Victory over our enemy!" Naruto yelled and the army of both humans and dragons roared in agreement so loudly that the whole world shook around them. This sight that stood before Naruto as human and dragon yelled out in agreement would stay imprinted within his everlasting mind until he decided he wanted to end his life if he so chose to.
"Let's go!" Naruto said as he grabbed a piece of Belserion's armor and climbed on top of his partner. Belserion flared his wings open as wide as they could go "To victory!" Belserion said as other people followed his example and climbed on top of other dragon's. None came near Belserion due to the fact that he had partnered up with their leader and would be leading the charge into battle. With a roar Belserion jumped off the cliff and took to the sky. He was quickly followed by the other dragon's who carried a couple dozen of the human warriors on their bodies while the rest were transported by horse or walked by foot. The war had finally begun.
"You sure do know how to rally the troops Naruto, but how come you have the look of one that feels as if something is going to happen?" Belserion asked his old friend. "Because I feel as if something is going to happen. For all my power and all my knowledge I already know that something is going to happen." Naruto replied to the dragon. "What do you think will transpire from this battle?" the dragon asked. "To be honest not even I can tell you just what will happen in this battle, but the one thing I do know is that something will cause me to change like a lot of the others. What it is I cannot say for I cannot tell." Naruto said.
Naruto then spotted the enemy dragon's coming straight for them and he scowled "Look alive the enemy is dead ahead!" Naruto yelled out. The enemy dragon's sped up and then the two armies clashed in the air. Human's were sent flying and dragon's crashed to the ground. Belserion drew his head back and let loose his flames upon a enemy dragon. Naruto leapt off of Belserion's head and cloaked his hand in Lightning Dragon Magic and stabbed the beast in the eye where it roared in agony as it's eye exploded while its brain was fried from the large currents of electricity. Jumping back on Belserion's head he reared his head back and released a sea of flame on another dragon.
Belserion swiped his tail and easily broke a dragon's neck before he swiped his claws across another dragon's face where it roared in rage ignoring its new wounds. Naruto then lept off of Belserion's head and covered his body with the magic he learned from Belserion and he headbutted the dragon between the eye's causing it to get dizzy. Before it could regain its senses the dragon's throat was ripped out courtesy of Belserion where it fell down to the ground choking in its own blood. Naruto ignited his feet and soared towards a deep green dragon and landed on its head. Raising his hand Naruto tried something he didn't know he could do until a couple fights ago.
"Raijigokuryū no Tekken (Lightning Hellfire Dragon's Iron Fist)" Naruto yelled as he combined the two magics into one and smashed his fist through the dragon's hard scales and rooted the fist deep into it's skull killing it by burning its brains while electrocuting it at the same time. The green scaled dragon couldn't even roar in agony as it had died in a painless death and fell from the sky. Naruto jumped into the air and landed on top of Igneel's head just as Igneel finished killing a dragon with deep blue scales. Not wasting a second Naruto jumped off of the Fire Dragon King's head and towards a dragon he recognized as Levia the Water Overlord.
Naruto enhanced his lightning encased fist with Belserion's magic and roared as he flew towards Levia. "Take this "Raikenryū no Raikiri (Lightning Sage Dragon's Lightning Blade)" Naruto yelled as he struck the blue dragon in his chest easily piercing the beast's chest and going through the back of the mighty beast. Naruto latched onto Levia's falling form and drew on more magic causing his bodily form to change. He starts gaining reptilian scales and traits, such as further elongated, and sharper, canines and scale-like patterns on the outer layer of his skin. Lightning begins to spark off his body showing he was using his Lightning Dragon Magic to fight.
Naruto draws his head back and releases a powerful blast of lightning from his mouth in a way similar to that of a Lightning Dragon's own breath attack. The beam of lightning strikes a dragon that was coming down towards Belserion in the head piercing through its head before it faded away. Naruto's lightning quickly changes to flame and he ignited his feet and took to the skies to fight some more. Naruto forms a large ball of flame between his hands and throws it at a black dragon where it explodes in a ball of... flame. The dragon's head was nearly melted away from the heat of Naruto's flames, but Naruto kept his sight on his friend Belserion the whole time.
Naruto then jumped at another dragon "Come on "Jigokuryū no Hōken (Hellfire Dragon's Demolition Fist )" Naruto yelled out as he struck another dragon so hard he ripped the beast's head off. Naruto then landed on top of Belserion's head "How are we faring?" Naruto yelled to the dragon. Belserion dodged out of the way of a dragon's breath attack and growled "With the human's here we have them overwhelmed and they're dropping like flies, but our numbers for dragon's are real low. I estimate we have six-thousand dragon's left in the dragon army."Belserion said to the blonde man who nodded his head in understanding.
"Well let's clear the air. HUMAN'S AND DRAGON'S OF ISHGAR CLEAR THE AIR!" Naruto roared out loudly. The dragon's that fought for equality heeded his words and gathered as many humans that were fighting as they could and fled as fast as they could. Naruto stood atop of Belserion's head and glared at the enemy dragon's who were cheering as they thought they had drove their enemies off. That is until one dragon that Naruto recognized as the Jade Dragon Zirconis pointed them out to the other's and they charged towards them. "VANISH INTO OBLIVION "ETERNAL FLARE!" Naruto roared loudly as the sky darkened to black which made the charging dragon's stop.
Then the stars that were twinkling in the sky began to grow brighter and brighter by the second until they breached the atmosphere at high speeds. Then they started to strike the dragon's where the streaks of light exploded into very large spheres of light taking out dragon after dragon. The dragon's that managed to dodge looked at the raining destruction in horror. Never before had they witnessed such carnage before in their lives, and to see thousands of dragon's get wiped out while countless more were being wiped out was something that other dragon's needed to be warned about so they could avoid the same fate as their own comrades had.
With their minds made up the dragon's gathered their wounded and fled. However one dragon that was white in color glared at the blonde riding Belserion. This dragon was Tatewaki the Apocalypse Dragon King, King of the Dragon's. Tatewaki is a is an extremely large, dragon more so than most of the other dragon's around him with the exception being Belserion who was nearly equal to his size. Tatewaki sports extremely large wings, quite proportionate to his already-large body mass. His two front, and back, claws sport five talons each with four in the front, and one in the back.
His long tail is adorned with the same scales as the rest of his body, and the tip is rather peculiar in shape, as it has two large scales protruding from either side. Tatewaki, like Belserion, has two large horns that stick out from the back of his head, two long canines protrude from his bottom jaw, his chin is rather sharp, he has a horn on his snout; the scapulars of his wings also feature large, spiked protrusions. "You may have won this battle Uzumaki with your Dragon Slayer's, but make no mistake they shall be the undoing of us all... Mark my words you hear me." Tatewaki growled out to Naruto before he too fled the battlegrounds.
Naruto sighed out in relief as this battle was over for now. Drawing in his magic his scaled appearance faded away until his regular skin then the nighttime sky turned to its daytime self and Naruto led his army back to the mountains to recover from their fighting. Belserion landed on he cliff and Naruto climbed off of the armored dragon's head and jumped down on the ground. When he landed the sound of cheering gained his attention making him look around. He couldn't help but crack a smile as he saw all the dragon's kneel down in a sign of respect while all his human warrior's cheered and clapped their hands in celebration for their victory.
Naruto raised a hand to get the cheering to quiet down. When it did Naruto cleared his throat for a speech "I know that today may seem like a major victory for us, but in reality it was just a small nudge the way towards our victory. We lost many a good ally out there during our battle, and we will have to go back and give our allies a proper burial in their honor. However the war for our freedom and peace has only just begun. This means that we will have to fight thousands of times harder to ensure that each victory is well earned. We can't allow for any victory's to go to our heads as that could lead to our downfall." Naruto told the crowd before he sighed.
"The next battle will happen near the Hell Canyon in around a week. I will contact any remaining draconian ally and human army that is willing to train in the way's of what Tatewaki the Apocalypse Dragon King has dubbed Dragon Slayer Magic with our allies the dragon's. When we have our numbers up higher we will wipe out all enemies that stand in our way and lead the world into an era of peace between dragon and human. Nothing, and I mean nothing is going to stop us from achieving this goal. Not Tatewaki, not even the god's will hinder us from our goal." Naruto said a the human's and remaining dragon's cheered excitedly from the blonde's words.
Five years later
Naruto stood on the neck of the now dying Zirconis and sighed. He had led a successful raid against a small battalion of the enemy dragon's and had effectively wiped them out. News of the human's and dragon's teaming up had reached nearly all four corners of the globe at a fast rate when news of a human army tagging along with a dragon army spread throughout the land. Since then countless dragon's had joined the cause of equality and peace as well as countless other human's. Naruto currently has around two-hundred-thousand dragon slayer's left in his army along with an astounding three-hundred-thousand dragon's in his dragon army.
He groaned and then fell to a knee clutching his arm. He had found that somehow, someway he was undergoing a rapid change. He had used his Dragon Slayer Magic too much over the past eight years and it was starting to takes its toll on his body. It was similar for many of the dragon slayers except they couldn't contain the power of a Dragon, and they either became consumed by their overwhelming power having gone insane where they were executed before any real damage could be dealt like Acnologia was, or had developed severe cases of motion sickness because of the conflict between their draconian senses and physical bodily composition which made them commit suicide.
However there were a select few, literally a one out of a-thousand, had begun to undergo physical transformations to that of a dragon's. The only way this was put under control was to use the magic more and more often, but even then that also sped up the process of his transformation. This magic was indeed a dual edged blade for his people to have. Ever since Tatewaki's disappearance a year ago things had been looking up for the peaceful faction of the dragon's as they were now winning more and more victories during the battles that were waged. Now all that was left was several thousand enemy dragon's and soon they would be wiped out.
However when that day come everything would change because the world would never be the same as it was before. Naruto gave a sigh as he felt the magic in his arm faded away and his arm returned to normal. Belserion walked up to him and stood silent waiting for his blonde friends next orders. Naruto sighed at what he was about to do, and he would soon regret what he was about to say. Looking to Belserion he nodded his head "It's time to finish this war, we head to the Devil's Valley in an hour. Gather the last of the dragon's and the dragon slayer's. We leave when they are in formation. Only those who are injured and can't fight stay here." Naruto ordered.
Belserion nodded his head and went to give out the order's he was given. Naruto sighed again and then looked down to the scales forming on his arm where he saw the scales growing through the skin of his body as if they were taking over him. Naruto cleared his throat hopefully for what would be the last time during this war "Today this war ends. No longer shall dragon's and human's have to fight again. No longer will we have to look at each other and see either food or fear. Today peace remains forever." he said.
The army cheered at the prospect of peace and when they calmed down Naruto continued "Today we wipe out the last of the enemy dragon's and ensure our peace." Naruto said and they cheered once more. Nodding his head Naruto climbed on top of Belserion and with that they took to the sky followed by each pair of dragon and dragon slayer, each headed towards one battle that would change forever. Quickly flying over the clear plains Belserion quickly arrived at the place where everything would change. Belserion hovered above the enemy dragon's who were now tired from their quick escape, while Belserion was still full of energy like the rest of the army was.
"This war is now over." Belserion declared as the dragon's on both side's charged each other. Naruto jumped off Belserion's head and landed on the ground. Clapping his hands together Naruto conjured up a monolithic dragon made out of water and then sent it racing towards a dragon. Naruto jumped out of the way of a dragon that crashed into the ground dead. Naruto then clasped his hands in a way he hadn't done in a long time and called upon the combination of earth and water where he conjured up a large wooden dragon where he sent it towards another dragon and he restrained it before the wooden monster wrapped around the dragon it held.
The wood dragon then bit into the neck of the actual dragon and twisted breaking the neck of the green dragon and then the wooden construct turned to mud as it returned to the earth. Naruto was avoiding using his Dragon Slayer Magic because it was becoming harder and harder to stop the transformation taking effect. Naruto had sent five dragons into the future to stop a calamity with five children. The reason he sent those five into the future was not only were they good friends, but Acnologia had literally torn their souls from their bodies and left them in a half dead state. Seeing that made Naruto mad and he ended the man's life and he didn't look back on it.
Naruto didn't know what this calamity entailed, but Zeref had said that he would help lead them when the time came. He even presented him with a very, very sexy looking demon he had named Sayla and he admitted she was indeed a little succubus. Naruto was forced to ignite his fist with hellfire when Motherglare released a large amount of eggs from his underbelly and then the eggs hatched releasing dragon humanoids that began shooting beams of magic at any of the dragon slayers they saw as well as the dragon's. Naruto drew his head back and roared as he released a combination of fire and lightning at Motherglare striking the beast in his belly.
Motherglare roared in pain as the dual element drilled into his hard adamantine belly before it faded away. Naruto reared his head back and enhanced his hellfire with Sage Dragon Slayer Magic "Jigokukenryū no Hoko (Hellfire Sage Dragon's Roar)" Naruto yelled out as he released the all powerful hellfire once again at Motherglare. Once again his hellfire drilled into Motherglare before the dragon fell to the ground trying to hold his innards within his body. The dragon slayer's converged towards the downed dragon where they quickly drew their heads back and released their elemental roars at the dragon as he was trying to heal his body.
Naruto drew on the power he called the Dragonforce and released a powerful beam of lightning at Motherglare which quickly drilled through the dragon's heart and killed Motherglare. Naruto then charged once again towards a dragon people had dubbed as Scissor Runner. Scissor Runner was the last dragon left of the enemy and it was on this day everything would change. Thirty dragon's, including Belserion, with all the dragon slayers rushed towards the purple dragon and literally tore the dragon apart with their magical attacks on the purple dragon's body. When the dust settled the human and dragon allies cheered. They had won, and now the war was over.
Naruto put up a good facade, but right now he was literally holding back a pained expression. His magic had literally been taking him over for the last month and a half, and no the effects were irreversible. The same effects were happening to Irene, but he couldn't ever have the urge to do anything to her. Naruto let the army have their moment as he walked over towards Belserion. Belserion looked towards his old friend and nodded his head to him "So it's finally over." Belserion sighed out. Naruto nodded to himself "Yes, but you still remember what I told you about that weird feeling I got when we first came up with the idea of Dragon Slayer Magic?" he asked.
Belserion nodded his head "Of course. It was a plan that worked well. Sure we lost several of our friends to their madness and all sorts of other thing's, but the good thing is that your plan to combine the power of a human with the magic of a dragon was effective enough to help end the fued between the two factions that once opposed each other."Belserion told the blonde haired sage. To be honest he didn't expect for the plan to work do flawlessly as it had, but it did. Sure there were a few bumps along the way, but not all plans are supposed to work out as they had been planned out originally so it was a good gamble.
"Well let's pack up and head home. Last time I checked the Dragon King Festival has yet to be celebrated right?" Naruto said. Belserion nodded his head and allowed for his friend to climb on the top of his head and soon they were in the sky. Upon arriving at the castle Naruto could immediately tell something was off. The citizens all looked at the dragon and the dragon slayer with looks of hate. "Ok, what's going on here?" Naruto asked. "Your kind has become corrupted by these foul creature's. So we've taken it upon ourselves to rid the world of these foul creature's." a man said while others agreed with the speaker as they nodded their heads.
"Oh and pray tell what caused this to happen." Naruto said. "The magic you and your red haired whore weild have turned you into monsters so we've decided to send the whore to prison where your kind belongs along with your demon child." a woman yelled as other's yelled in agreement. "But we've been fighting for your sakes. For eight years we dragon's have been fighting a war just so you could live in peace and have a sense of freedom so you wouldn't have to look over your shoulders every day for a hungry dragon to come and eat you." Belserion said to the angry mob of humans standing in front of Naruto.
"Well it was your kind that corrupted these innocent people. We've already set a execution date for the redheaded whore and his child- the man didn't finish as Naruto appeared behind the man and slit his throat scaring a lot of people. "You all have five seconds to run before I hunt you all down and kill you." Naruto growled out. It had taken a few minutes to comprehend what the people were saying, but when he did he had started scanning the city for any trace of a dragonlings magic signature as well as any other dragon's magical signature, and what he found disgusted him to no end. Not one young dragon or dragon guard had been spared... they were all dead.
The crowd ran away from the enraged man who looked to his friend "I'm sorry Belserion, but what we feared has finally surfaced." Naruto said to the large dragon. "I will still fight for you Naruto." Belserion told the human. Naruto shook his head as he tried to stop the dragon from moving "They're not worth it. After all we've done they still believe that the dragon species as a whole is out to get them. For eight years we fight just so they can live, and for what. They slaughter all the young dragon hatchlings and the dragon guards and then string them up like they are sausages at a butcher shop. No I won't have it. Not anymore." Naruto yelled as a pair of feathery gold wings sprouted out of his back.
Naruto ignored the wings and started to run after the crowd while Belserion could only stand in his place not seeing the dark shadow loom above him. Naruto ran through the crowd as they tried to run from the enraged man. Ignoring their pleas he cut down every man, woman and child he came across. When he could no longer see or sense any around him he ran into the castle to retrieve his son and Irene. He knew that his son was a Celestial Wizard Like his mother as she had given him all her key's with the exception of the Celestial Spirit King and the Black Key's, with the exception of Ophiuchus the Snake Charmer as a gift for his fifth birthday.
"I am human…" the Queen of Dragon's muttered sadly while resting her head on her hands, trying her best to sleep on the cold floor of her prison. She wore nothing but a rag, and her entire body, was covered with dragon-like scales, and she was covered in bruises and cuts. However, no matter how much she tried, she couldn't sleep that day. Maybe it was because every time she went to the dreamland, all she had was nightmares, the nightmares of everything she had to go through for the past three months. It was ironic, to say the least. She was once called the Queen of Dragons, but by no means was she one.
She was given that title when she became the ruler of the people of Dragnof Empire, a kingdom where dragons and humans lived happily with each other…. Just like Naruto's own Alvarez Empire. It was the empire that she swore to protect with her life… the same empire that she loved, and was willing to give up anything for, and that including her own happiness, her humanity. And yet… it was also the empire that turned against her when they found out Irene was becoming a monster similar to Acnologia. Acnologia had been executed when he had turned, but now here she was undergoing the same transformation as he was. Would she die before seeing her beloved again?
Maybe they were afraid of her and what she could become… but the humiliation, the pain, the torture and the violence they had put her through… they were too much for her to handle. "I'm human…" Irene reminded herself once again before closing her eyes and resting her hand on her belly. With her enhanced dragon senses, she could hear her child's heartbeat. It was the only thing that gave her comfort over the days of nothing but pains and sufferings. She was her daughter with him, the man she loved more than anything in her life. She cherished her and loved her daughter with all her heart, as she was the proof of the love his love for her.
"Don't worry… mommy will protect you… no matter what happens." she muttered weakly, but lovingly, the corners of her mouth curved up slightly in a smile. If he were here, he would never let any of this to happen to her… to their daughter… to their friends. He was the man she had come to love more than anything in her life, someone she could cherish and spend her time around with. He was the person, who at first, stubbornly said that he didn't want to get involved with the redhead for the sake of his peaceful life with his empire, but still, in the end, he was one of the first to rush into a battle against several thousand of dragons to defend the kingdom.
He said he did it for no one but the people, but Irene knew him better than that. She understood that deep down inside his heart, regardless of his carefree personalities, regardless of the merciless words he said, he truly cared for her, her people and the dragons of Dragnov. He was one of many reasons they were able to come out of the Dragon Festival unscratched, by the enemy dragon's. Time passed, and war was over… countless dragons were killed by the dragon slayer's, but with Naruto at her side, they were able to protect Ishgar together. He fought for their freedom, and the people had come to love him more than anything.
They even asked him to become their new emperor, but he politely declined and said she would do a much better job as a leader than him. Today after the end of the Dragon Festival, he would be returning with the rest of the dragon's that sided with Humanity as well as the dragon slayer's. She had wanted to go with him, but her people needed her to stay behind, because she was the only leader they had left. That and Naruto had wanted to look after his and Anna's son, as well as that Etherious demon Sayla, because he trusted her the most out of anybody in the kingdom. She had no choice. All the facts he pointed out were indeed more than enough for her to stay.
However, a day after his depart to the western continent, Irene found out that she was pregnant with his child and had sent him a letter. It came as a shock for Irene, but she was happy no less. To say it was the happiest day of her life was an understatement. She couldn't wait to tell him. However, her happiness was crushed when, not even a week later, Irene started having signs of becoming a dragon, just like Acnologia. The people still remembered when the man had turned into the Black Dragon and then Naruto had killed him. This instilled that the dragon's had been cursing the people with their magic and now all that they worked for was gone.
"Dragon woman" a voice said to the redhead. Irene looked up from the floor when she heard the voice. She saw a man, with shoulder-length black hair and a cold expression on his face. He was the general from a Naruto's country, who had come to seek the protection of her lover like many countries around the world when they heard about him and his power to defend a country against armies of dragon with his magic. Even from the first look, Irene knew that he was up to no good, but at the time, humans fought over territorial disputes. Naruto had no choice but to accept them in order to cease unnecessary conflicts between humans of his country and dragons of the empire.
As the leader of Dragof, she did everything she could to limit his influence over the city, without knowing that he had come to hate her more and more. He was the first man who had turned his back to her when he learnt that she was becoming a dragon. It was a golden opportunity for him to take over the empire, to say the least. Her lover was away, and Irene was becoming a dragon due to the usage of dragon slayer magic, the very same being her people was so afraid of. In less than a day, he was able to drive her people against her, claiming that she would eventually become a monster like Acnologia.
"We have decided your execution date and time." his words made her blood turn cold. "P-please… I beg of you…" she said weakly, trying to crawl toward him "For this child's sake… do whatever you want with me, but please, please let me raise and give birth to my daughter… it's his daughter… it's Naruto's…" she pleaded with the man, but it fell on deaf ear's. "SILENCE, MONSTER!" he roared, slamming his hand against the cell. "Enough with that sickening joke, do you really think that we will continue to buy that lie after all this time? Naruto Uzumaki-sama doesn't have child with a monster. The only child he has is with Anna Heartfilia-sama who is gone." the man yelled at her.
"But… it's the truth." she said looking at him. Irene sat up, placing her hand on her belly "J-just call a doctor. I'm really pregnant with his daughter." she told the man. "ENOUGH!" he roared. The man opened the door and walked into her prison, pulling a dagger from his hip "There's no child! If there were, it couldn't be Naruto Uzumaki-sama's daughter. You betrayed him!" the man said. He raised his dagger above his head and started slashing her body violently. Irene could do nothing but to cry out in pain "Shall I tear open your belly and make sure of it?" he asked the redheaded woman darkly, while she pleaded for not to do it as it was Naruto's child.
"NO! STOP! PLEASE!" Irene cried as he slashed her belly, leaving a deep cut on it as he tried to hurt the redheaded woman, "STOP IT! PLEASE! I BEG OF YOU!" she cried out. She feared for her child's safety. She feared for her own life. But the fears paled to the anger she was feeling toward the humans that had wronged her. They're all going to pay for what they did. Irene cried, and from her back, a pair of feathery wings appeared and rose above her head. "You…" the black haired man's eyes widened in shock as he stared at her. "DRAGON!" he cried and slashed his sword down, trying to end her life before the transformation could be completed.
However, before he could do it, his hand and the blade stopped in midair. In an action that shocked Irene, he turned his blade around and stabbed it into his chest, aiming at his heart. Before he could even understand what happened, a man appeared beside him a flash. His hand, which was balled into a fist covered in flame, stabbed the weapon into his right eye and grabbed his whole head before slamming it against the prison's wall with so much force that the wall collapsed and the man's head exploded, splattering pieces of brain and blood everywhere. Naruto swung his hand and the flames disappeared while blood flew of his hand as if it wasn't there.
As the headless body fell to the ground lifeless, Irene could only look at the standing man with her eyes wide in shock. Her eyes teared up, and she felt her anger disappeared when their eyes met. They are the same magenta purple eyes that seemed to glow with a vibrancy, light and pure power. The same golden blonde hair, to her, seemed as if it absorbed and reflected the sunlight it was so bright. The same whisker marks on his cheeks… the same love for orange, the colour that was visible on his all of his clothes. It was him… there was no mistake about it. It was Naruto Uzumaki. Naruto looked at the redhead in shock as he stepped into the light.
It revealed that he too had dragon scales and a pair of feathery wing similar to her own which shocked the redhead that he too was going under the same transformation. Naruto however would soon finish his transformation as he was more pissed than ever. However "I-Irene…" he spoke softly and in a blink, he was kneeling in front of her, with his arms wrapped tightly around her body, which pressed against his. His body… it was trembling… The strongest, most powerful man she had ever known… was crying... for her... "I'm sorry…" he whispered to her. He never felt so ashamed than he did right now it was so hard not to cry.
Her wings, which stood angrily just a moment ago, slowly came down and rested on the floor. Weakly, Irene wrapped her arms around him and buried her face into his shoulder. She tried to speak to him, but the words died in her throat, muffled by her sobs. He was powerful, but he was no god… he couldn't foresee everything that happened after he left. The only thing that mattered to her at the moment was that he had returned to her."Let's get you out of here." he whispered softly and placed his hand under her knees. Gently lifting her up, Naruto carried her in his hands and walked out of the prison, where they were met with a beautiful woman with black hair and two golden horns on either side of her head.
"Master." she immediately bowed her head to Naruto when she saw them "Is this…" she started to say only for Naruto to interrupt her. "Yes, Sayla, this is Irene." Naruto told her with a nod of his head. "She's going to stay with us from now on." he told her. "I need you to do me a favor and find my son with your senses." he told the demon. "He's in the castle locked up in his room." she answered immediately. "We'll stop by and get him out of there when we get done here." Naruto said as he began to formulate a plan. "I see…" the demon, Sayla, nodded her head in response. A loud roar filled the air causing the trio to turn only for Naruto to gasp in shock.
He thought he had killed him, so how... How was Acnologia alive? Naruto held Irene out to Sayla where the demon took the redhead from her master. Naruto looked the demoness in her eye's "Go get my son and take them as far away as you possibly can, and whatever you do don't come back here. Understand." he ordered the demon. "Yes master I understand." Sayla said and with that she ran towards the castle to retrieve his son as he had ordered her to do. Naruto's anger grew even more when he saw the Black Dragon hold Belserion's bleeding form up in the air "Naruto look who I got." Acnologia sang out to him as Belserion struggled to speak.
Belserion shook his head "N-Naruto... run... He's too strong..." Belserion said to him. "Belserion!" Naruto yelled out. "He killed all the dragon's... and the dragon slayer's as well... He's too powerful... now run." Bleserion yelled to him as the last of his life faded away. "BELSERION!" Naruto yelled out as he watched Acnologia throw the dragon down towards Naruto's feet where he rolled to a stop. Naruto slowly raised a hand and placed it on the dragon's hide where he could feel the body slowly cooling off. His rinnegan flashed a deep purple "Gakido (Preta Path)" Naruto said emotionlessly as he somehow absorbed all of Belserion into his body.
Naruto then looked at Acnologia who was leering at him, and with a roar the seed that had drawn its power from the Gedo Mazo finally sprouted and he turned. Naruto's body practically radiated with power as he began to freely transform into the very creature he had been trained to kill... to destroy... to Annihilate from the face of the planet. When the glow died down Naruto was a silver and gray dragon easily comparable in size to Acnologia. His head is round and blunt with four large horns extending backwards protecting the top of his neck like a frill, but there is enough room for the golden mane of flames that comes down his back.
Naruto's feathery wings spread out widely, but also hold the capability to fold themselves in so they could close. Two long maxillary canines protrude from his lower jaw as a set of large tusks jut out from and curve around his jaw. The scapulars of his wings also feature large, spiked protrusions giving him a regal look. Naruto's cerulean blue eyes would occasionally sent out electrical sparks from time to time, blue glows would appears underneath the round scales giving off lightning discharges that affect the weather. A mane of golden fire align's the dragon's spine from the back of his neck down to the tip of his long tail, while also extending to run from the scapulars of his arm down to the end of the elbows.
The burning mane also connects to his wings to make it look like they're on fire but in reality they just reflect from the actual mane of fire. his tail which, in itself, possesses spear-like tip can produce two blades to form what looked like a spear which he could use as an extra weapon to stab his enemy should he get pin down and unable to get himself free. Naruto roared as he lunged at Acnologia where he quickly tacked the black reptile to the ground. Naruto brought his fist up and encased it in a mixture of lightning and fire before quickly bringing it down on Acnologia's face driving him further into the ground before he repeated himself again and again.
Acnologia caught the fist of his enemy as he was about to strike him a fourth time and then pushed Naruto off his body where Naruto crashed into the wall of a nearby tower causing it to crumble down upon his body. However as if it had not fazed him in the slightest Naruto was back up in almost an instant as he flared his wings open widely. Naruto roared in outrage and lunged at Acnologia where the two dragon's quickly took to the sky to continue their battle for dominance over their enemy. Naruto drew his head back and released a sea of flame which Acnologia dodged out the way of where it crashed through several houses killing all the humans that were trying to escape.
Naruto looked at Acnologia and growled "How are you alive, I remember killing you when you turned against us." Naruto spoke in a deep voice. "I was reborn into what you now see. You can thank your friend Zeref for that. I was content being dead, but then he offered me to become a challenge for one of his pathetic demons in the future so I decided to take back the power I once wielded and came here to slaughter all the dragons and the dragon slayers to regain it. However I didn't foresee you becoming one as a part to get what is rightfully mine." Acnologia spoke to the silver scaled dragon.
"You can try and take my power, and you will fail. I will not allow for you to taint the name of the dagon's for you to gain a bit of power." Naruto told Acnologia who scoffed at his enemy. "Oh please give me a break, it's not my fault transformed into a dragon. Dragon Slayer Magic was never meant to be used by a human therefor we were punished it's simple logic." Acnologia retorted back to Naruto who scoffed in return at what he had heard from Acnologia, who for some strange reason actually made sense to him for once and not the other way around as he always confused other people with how he spoke to them.
"Well it doesn't matter I'll just end you here." Naruto said as the silver dragon looked up causing the stormclouds that had brewed up to grow darker. "Begone with the resounding thunder Acnologia "Dragon's Light" Naruto called out as the storm clouds suddenly gained a bright glow as a four pinwheel star formed while it seemed as if the light was trying to suck in the darkness of the clouds. The pinwheel then stated to rotate ever so slowly in a circle. And from the spinning pinwheel came a dragon made of light. The dragon was practically radiating with power as it descended from its celestial home in the sky down towards the ground.
Acnologia knew he couldn't just stay where he was and so with that thought in mind the Black Dragon took of as the dragon of light came closer and closer into contacting the ground. Acnologia looked back to see if Naruto was chasing him, but he didn't see the silver dragon with the burning mane as the light had gotten to bright to look at forcing him to look away lest he go blind from searching. Acnologia forced his new body to go faster than it could go and yet it looked as if he wasn't gaining any ground... until a loud explosion occurred and all was white as the Dragon's Light consumed all the world around the Black Dragon of the Apocalypse as he would later be called by the people.
Four-Hundred years later
Fairy Tail had done it again. They had just attacked Hades with everything they had, even Laxus paled in strength when compared to this monster. The man had easily overwhelmed them with his power and then taken down Laxus with an Amaterasu Formula. Not even Natsu's Lightning Flame Dragon abilities had done anything except stun the elderly man if for briefly. They had taken down all the Seven Kin of Purgatory, but they were all low on power. Ultear had steadily been restoring the Tenrou Tree which would give those of Fairy Tail their Magic Power back. He had tried to summon demon's but somehow his demon's eye had faded away.
It was time to end this. However before they could move a large shadow flew over them. Hades' eye's widened at what he saw. It was impossible how... just how could there be one still alive. The members of Fairy Tail looked at where the elderly man was looking and gaped, especially Natsu. It was a dragon... and he was huge. It had silver and gray scales covering it's entire body from the tip of its snout to the very end of its long snake-like tail and was easily twenty to thirty meters in length while size wize it was around forty to fifty meters in height. Its size could easily dwarf that of any tree on the island with the exception of the Tenrou Tree.

The dragon slowly descends to the ground silently as he ignored the human's and their squabble. When it lands the whole island shakes hard enough for all those standing to fall down. They watch as the dragon's body glows only for the dragon to disappear and turn into a handsome man comparable to Laxus. The man was wearing tattered armor signaling he had probably been in a fight against someone, but from what they could sense he still had plenty of reserve power. To Laxus it was like he was staring at an identical version of himself, only this guy had the ability to transform into a dragon. The man coughed up smoke and collapsed to a knee.
He was breathing hard showing h was exhausted even if he hadn't been in a fight. The man then gets control over his breathing and stands up to look around him. Spotting the group he gains a curious look on his face and walks over to them. "Uh, can some explain to me where I am." the man says sounding a bit embarrassed. Natsu and the others look at the man "Uh you're on Tenrou Island holy ground for the Guild Fairy Tail." Erza tells the man. Naruto nodded his head. He didn't know where this Tenrou Island was, but judging by the fact that Ethernano quality was twenty times higher than he remembered he must be in a different era.
"Ok can you tell me how long its been since the war between man and dragon?" he asked. He knew that was something that was written down in the history books, ho could it not be. Hades smirked when he felt the man's power levels "Young man the dragon's have been extinct for nearly four and a half centuries." Hades said while they all ignored Natsu's yell of dragon's not being extinct as there was still three left. Naruto turned to the man and felt disgusted by what he felt. The old timer wanted him to join the same side as he was and destroy all the younger teens and the young girl with blue hair, for what to 'reawaken' Zeref the Dark Wizard.
Oh no that was not ever going to happen. Especially not after Naruto had just found out that that bastard had resurrected Acnologia for his sick purposes. Naruto waved his hand and Hades was surrounded in a pillar of lightning and flame "Raijigokuryū no Bakufū (Lightning Hellfire Dragon's Blast Wave)" Naruto intoned emotionlessly. To say the members of Fairy Tail were shocked was a severe understatement. This guy used a dual element for Dragon Slayer Magic like Natsu did and with such a powerful spell as the flames coming of the sphere that surrounded Hades was literally like standing in hell. Even Natsu who used flames on a regular day to day basis was being affected.
The blast threw Hades out of the wall and into the forest where he quickly disappeared put of their sight. Naruto collapsed to his knees with a groan as he clutched his arm in pain "Dammit... it seems my Dragon's Light had more of an effect on me than I thought." Naruto grumbled out to himself. Wendy seeing the man nearly collapse ran over and began to administer her healing magic. Naruto sighed and then sniffed the air and nearly groaned. Fro what he smelled there were four dragon slayers on this 'island' if that is what they were indeed on. There was Natsu who was raised by Igneel, Wendy who was taught by Grandeeney, Gajeel who was Metalicana's spawn.
And finally there was Laxus who was a weaker version of dragon slayer magic showing he was Raiun's heir. Four, now five, dragon slayer's in one spot, it couldn't be coincidence could it. "What era is it?" he asked. "What? I don't understand?" the girl said confused. "What era is it? What has happened in the last four centuries since the Dragon King Festival?" Naruto asked. "I don't know what this Dragon King Festival is, but right now it's time to go see the old man and see if he's alright." Natsu said while the others groaned at the pink haired man's idiocy. Naruto shook his head in amusement. This kid was like him in a lot of ways it was like he was looking at a younger version of himself.
Naruto and the other member's walked off of the airship, provided by Gray's Ice-Make abilities, and onto the sand. Naruto sniffed the air and growled as he looked to the left as his purple eyes glowed angrily in the morning sun. The other member's of Fairy Tail turn left and see the man standing their, and then hear Naruto growling. Who was this man to Naruto. Naruto was mad by the man before him, the man who had reawoke Acnologia from his eternal slumber "Zeref..." he growled out to the man. Zeref the Black Wizard hadn't aged a day in the four hundred years of his life, and why wouldn't he his curse prevented it from happening.
"Well my old friend it's been quite some time. How long has it been three-four hundred years since I last saw you? Although from the armor you wear I believe it's been several years at the most instead of the countless centuries I've waited to see you again." Zeref said with a chuckle. Naruto really didn't like Zeref after what he was told by Acnologia, who had been revived as an Etherious demon like Sayla. The difference between him and and Etherious was that Naruto knew enough enchantments to reverse any kind of transformation done to him, it was the only reason he hadn't stayed a dragon for as long as he had been one.
The members of Fairy Tail gulped as they all knew how powerful Zeref was. He was literally the most evil man to walk the earth, possibly untrue thanks to Madara and Obito, but they hadn't known him as well as the newfound friend did and or does currently if what the man said was true. "Why are you here?" Naruto growled as he fought the urge to transform into a dragon and kill the man quickly. "I was simply minding my own business when I as demanded to create the 'Grand Magic World' by some old man, well young man in our eye's but you know what I mean." Zeref said as he passed them and walked onto the airship. When he reached the top Zeref bid them farewell and left.
"So that was Zeref huh?" Laxus said. Wasn't really what he expected from the most evil man history ever produced. "Trust me kid that was him letting you live. If he wanted to then everything on this island would have been wiped out by his curse magic." Naruto said as he stood up straighter. "Seriously?" Lucy asked now frightened. She didn't want that guy to come back and kill them just for the hell of it. Naruto nodded his head "O yeah that was him being nice. Trust me kid if you had been around during the Dragon King Festival you would have seen his work all over the place. Especially his Arcane Magic ad Demonic Life Magic." he told the blonde.
"So that means you can take him on and kick his ass right?" Natsu asked excitedly. "Kid as much as I'd like to I can't even muster up a drop of my Magic so right now the answer is no. However if I were to go full power I could take on both him and a hundred dragons easily for an hour." Naruto said. "That's so cool. When you're topped up again I wanna fight ya." Natsu declared. "Well before we get any further I'd like to know what the name of the guy who kicked the man who kicked my grandpa's ass is." Laxus said as he went over what he had just said and hoped that what he said was indeed in the right order or else he would probably sound like Natsu.
The man that kicked the man, who kick his grandpa's ass... was that right or was it the man who kicked the man's as who in turn kicked his grandfather's ass... They all blinked as they tried to puzzle what Laxus had just said and it all ended with a big pile of nothing... "What that doesn't even make any sense." Natsu said. "Yeah sounds like something Natsu would say." Gray said in agreement while everyone, sans Naruto, nodded in agreement just as Natsu realized he was being called stupid. "What was that stripper?" Natsu growled at his old rival. "You heard me that sounded just like something you would say." Gray retorted only for Naruto to slam their heads together hard.
This made the two cry out in pain, but Naruto ignored them to look at Laxus. "I understand what you meant, and I don't blame you for distrusting me. My name is Naruto Uzumaki, King of the Dragon's and of Alveraz during the year three-hundred seventy-seven." he told them. This made Natsu and Gray's eye's light up with excitement. The new guy was a king, that meant he was loaded to the bone with cash. "FREE FOOD FOREVER!" the two rivals declared happily at the thought while Naruto quirked an eyebrow at that. They did know that he hadn't had access to the royal vault in nearly four and a half hundred years, so they weren't getting any cash from him.
"I'm Natsu Dragneel, and these guy's are my friends Erza, Lucy, Wendy, Laxus, and finally Gray, who is a stripping pervert." Natsu said as he introduced each of them. Naruto shook his head with a chuckle as the two teens bickered over what Natsu had said, that is until Erza got frustrated and forced them to get along. "It's nice to meet you all, and I thank you for not pushing me away. To be honest I was actually in the middle of a battle when I suddenly appeared in this timeline." Naruto told them. "Was it with a dragon? I mean you keep talking about this Dragon King Festival and all other types of nonsense we don't understand." Laxus said.
"Actually we had just finished the civil war when we were betrayed. The two factions of dragons tat wanted either peace or to eat human's had literally finished the last battle when things went south. My army of dragons and dragon slayers were made out to be demons and thus a new battle started all together. The citizens of my kingdom who once lived in peace and harmony with the dragon's slaughtered each and every last hatchling and dragon guard and strung them along the castle wall. That was what started the new war." Naruto said. It was astounding to hear that this man lead such an army, but it made them wonder... who betrayed this magnificent army?
"After the fighting started I ran into a man I had thought dead, but it turns out he was the one who started making the people doubt the dragons and dragon slayers. I used a technique I called the Dragon's Light and the next thing I know is I'm here." Naruto said. "That's sad to hear. To think you went through all that trouble for peace only to be thrown into another war so soon." Erza said. "Yeah but there is one thing I wanna know. How many elements do you know? How come you were able to turn into a dragon, and then back into a human? and lastly how old are you?" Natsu asked. He was really curious about how this man knew a dual element magic like he did.
"Ok to answer you in order I know three different Dragon slayer Magics as I was taught by three separate dragons but I can combine two of the three into different combo's for better strikes. The reason I am able to turn into a dragon is because that was the price I paid to learn three different elements from three different dragon's, but it's more along the lines of a Take-Over spell than anything. I know several spells for Take-Over mind you and I would like to keep those a secret for now. And lastly I am twenty-six years old." Naruto answered the teen. That kid sure did ask a lot of questions that was for sure.
"Ok one last thing do you know any dragons named Igneel, Grandeeney, and Metalicana?" Wendy asked him. Laxus scoffed "I hardly doubt it. With so many dragon's fighting I'm sure it was hard to keep track of so many different names." he said to the young girl. "Actually I do. Grandeeney the Sky Queen as we called her was our best healer. Metalicana the Titanium Hide was basically an impenetrable suit of armor and was able to get where most other dragon's couldn't as his scales were near indestructible. And lastly Igneel the Fire Dragon King was our best warrior besides my dear friend Belserion the Sage Dragon for his abilities with Fire Magic." Naruto said.
"Sadly I haven't seen the three of them in a long time so if you are asking me where they are then I cannot help you." he told them as it was true. Since he had arrived from four hundred years from the past he had no clue as to where they were. "It's ok we understand." Wendy said. Naruto then gained a curious look "So where are we going?" he asked as he was letting the group lead him through the forest. "We're going to the trial base. This was meant to be a promotion exam but a dark guild attacked the island. You actually took out their guild master Hades when you arrived when you did." Laxus told his fellow blonde who nodded in understanding.
"Well lead the way." Naruto said to Laxus and the group. Upon arriving at the base Naruto saw a large amount of people lying on the ground with grave injuries. Not the type of injuries that were fatal, but one's they wouldn't recover from any time soon with just Wendy's healing. The member's that were able to move however looked at Naruto with apprehensive eye's while he just gave a wave. He had sensed several large ships that surrounded the island departing quickly, but he didn't know what for so he had elected to ignore them so he could converse with the wizards of this time and era to see what he could find out, and it wasn't much.
"Yo who is this flunky?" Bickslow asked the group while pointing to Naruto. "My name is Naruto Uzumaki, King of the Dragon's and ruler of Alvarez in the year three-hundred-seventy-seven. I was in the middle of a war when I used a technique that messed up and sent me to the future on accident." Naruto said as he introduced himself. "He's also a triple element dragon slayer how cool is that?!" Natsu exclaimed. To some of them they didn't believe the man was from the past, but hearing he was a dragon slayer sure was a surprise to say the least. "Well I welcome you mister time traveler to Tenrou Island the island of mystery and adventure." Makarov told Naruto.
"Do you really accept what I said just now so easily? Why?" he asked confused. "It's because Fairy Tail is a family, and we always treat family with respect." Mirajane told the armored warrior from the past. Naruto couldn't help but smile. He hadn't seen friendship like this since he had founded his kingdom of peace and harmony with the dragons. "Well if you need help recovering I can help speed your process up." he told the group as he walked over to Makarov and healed the old man in less than thirty seconds which was faster than Wendy's best healing time. This surprised them all as they didn't know that he knew healing magic. But then again he was from the past he was bound to.
Several hours later after Naruto and Wendy had patched everyone up, and learned all they could about their blonde friend they had relaxed. "So are you thinking about joining Fairy Tail?" Natsu asked Naruto. Naruto shrugged "To be honest I'm not sure. I mean for me the first guild in history was literally just founded a year ago, and now here I am finding out that the world is filled to the bursting point with guilds. So I'm not sure if I can." Naruto told Natsu unsure about what he had been asked. "Oh sure you can if I know gramps then he's gonna let you in, I mean you're a dragon slayer for crying out loud." Natsu said to Naruto while he clenched his fist.
"I'll think about it." Naruto replied to the exuberant teen. Naruto then got up and walked away towards the guild master "When do you depart?" he asked Makarov. "Within the hour. I was surprised that you managed to talk me into letting my grandson rejoin the guild after I had already expunged him from our ranks." Makarov said to Naruto. Naruto shrugged "When you're down in the nitty gritty then family is the only thing you can turn back to. Trust me when I say this if you have everything and then lose it all, then you haven't lost anything for your family will help you up." Naruto said sadly as he thought about all his lost comrades.
Makarov looked at his watch "I don't think that the guild member's would mind if we departed a little early. Come we must not overstay our welcome on these holy grounds." Makarov said as Naruto nodded. Makarov walked over to the group with the ancient warrior "Pack everything up and put it on the boat, we leave now." Makarov ordered. "Yes Master I will get busy at once." Freed said to the old man with a bow. However before anyone could a loud roar announced the arrival of a new enemy. Naruto looked to the sky and saw the one thing he hadn't expected to see upon his arrival in this timeline, but yet here he was coming down towards them.
"Acnologia..." Naruto growled. He then looked to the group "Run now and don't look back. I'll hold Acnologia off." Naruto said as Acnologia landed on the island. Naruto jumped into the air and covered his fist in hellfire "YOU WON'T LEAVE HERE ALIVE!" Naruto roared as he slammed his fist into Acnologia with such force he shook the whole island and threw Acnologia back into the waters with a large splash. Natsu and the other dragon slayer's went wide eyed at the sight of their predecessor knock back a dragon with such ease. If that was what it took knock a dragon back then fighting one would be a piece of cake.
Enter: Five Finger Death Punch-Under and Over It
Naruto looked back to the guild "I told you to get out of here now go that's an order!" Naruto yelled as Acnologia rose from the water practically unscathed. Naruto ignited his feet and took to the sky. When he was above the dragon he drew his head back "Jigokuryū no Hoko (Hellfire Dragon's Roar)" Naruto yelled out loudly as he then spewed out a sea of flames that quickly surrounded Acnologia in the form a large fireball. The sheer heat of this attack was like nothing they had ever experienced. "E-eh." Lucy groaned. "I-it burns." Levy said and Mirajane nodded in agreement, causing Gajeel to move in front of her. "Stay behind me girls." he said trying to protect them from the heat waves that attacked them.
"I-I'm boiling." Juvia said as she covered her face. Elfman and Lisanna were looking at the dragon slayer as he released his roar. "That's like Natsu's dragon roar don't you think?" Elfman asked his baby sister while he looks on at the fight. "T-this heat is unlike anything I've ever felt." Lisanna said. "This is bad. Like really bad." Happy said as he looked at the dragon slayer's attack on his enemy. "It feels like I'm in an oven, and we're standing way over here." Freed said as he wiped the sweat from his forehead. "It's so frigging hot." Levy said as she began to sweat heavily. Cana looked at the man's assault on Acnologia with wide eyes as well.
"That's unbelievable. It's almost as if the sun is crashing down from the sky." Cana said. "It's over don't you think?" Pantherlily asked the alcoholic woman. "I don't know he definitely sounds like he's in pain." Cana said. Natsu smirked at this "If that dragon can't take a little bit of heat then he might as well roast." he said as he watched the Dragon King released his wrath upon his enemy. Mirajane could only look at this in astonishment "I think we better hide." she thought aloud. Natsu shook his head "And miss the show? No way." he said. "Oh wow that's big." Bickslow said in astonishment. "So this is what the first dragon slayer's were capable of... it's amazing." Wendy said in astonishment.
The power of one of the original dragon slayers was at a level of its own, and it was amazing to see in action. The fireball crashed into the ground before it began to three times its original size causing them to look on in awe while it cratered the ground and split the sea apart. "Amazing!" Erza said. "It's the Fire Dragon's Roar..." Happy said quietly. "Oh wow that fireball's huge." Natsu said with wide eyes. "You're right about that." Wendy agreed with equally wide eyes. "If he keeps this up I'm sure there won't be any trace of the island left." Pantherlily said. "Well if that fool wants to kill himself then he can do that on his own." Carla said.
"Dear god he could destroy Magnolia if he wanted." Lisanna said as she looked at the ball of flame expand. When the cloud of smoke clears it reveals an uninjured Acnologia, with his wings covering his body and water rapidly filling the hole where he stood. Naruto looked down at them and growled "I thought I told you guy's to run!" Naruto yelled. Makarov nodded his head "He's right. If we stand here it is likely that we will be caught up in this fight. Let us leave our friend here to do what needs to be done. As much as I dislike the idea he is the only one that can take Acnologia on and come out unscathed." Makarov said with a heavy heart.
He wanted to help, god did he ever, but from what he could see Naruto had it well covered. "But what about you?" Erza asked the man. She didn't want someone to needlessly sacrifice themselves just so that others could live. "Don't worry about me I'll be fine." Naruto said as his form changed to that of the Dragonforce. He starts gaining reptilian scales and traits, such as further elongated, and sharper, canines and scale-like patterns on the outer layer of his skin. Lightning begins to spark off his body showing he was using his Lightning Dragon Magic to fight. It was time to end one of mankind's worst enemy to have ever existed.
Seeing the man enter the Dragonforce shocked Natsu as he had never seen another dragon slayer call upon it, or of their own free will, however before he could ask how he was able to do it he was dragged away. Acnologia roared as he unfurled his wings and gave a roar that shook the island before he took back to the sky. When he reached Naruto's eye level the two charged each other. Acnologia covered his fist in raw magic while Naruto covered his own in lightning. The two collide and another explosion occurs shaking the island once again. On the small ship quickly sailing away thanks to Wendy using her magic all of Fairy Tail see the explosion.
And why wouldn't they as they were really close by. Naruto fly's back a little bit and growls at Acnologia "Well seeing as you're not in the talking mood I think it's about time I finish this. NOW VANISH INTO OBLIVION, "ETERNAL FLARE" Naruto roared loudly as the sky darkened to black which made the world stop spinning nearly as a spell that hadn't been seen in nearly four-hundred years was cast once more. Then the stars that were twinkling in the sky began to grow brighter and brighter by the second until they breached the atmosphere at high speeds. Then they started to strike the dragon where the streaks of light exploded into very large spheres of light.
Explosion after explosion shook the world as hell rained down on Acnologia, shaking the world with its power. This also had the added effect of speeding up the Fairy Tail ship to incredible speeds where they were almost pushed to the point that they caught up with the Rune Knights and their ships. Even the Rune Knights looked at the rain of fire and terror with wide eyes as such a spell was never seen before. For the dragon slayer's it was like a punch to the face. This was the power of their predecessor, and yet they had never been able to make such effortless moves against something as powerful as Acnologia, even if they were ordered to leave.
When the light's finally stopped raining down and the world turned normal Naruto then raised his hands and conjured up a large dragon made of Water not letting up on his assault and sent it racing towards Acnologia. Acnologia however swiped his arm and annihilated the water dragon and the he swiped his tail sending the blonde crashing to the ground. Acnologia drew his head back and gathered his magic. Although he hadn't seen the man he was currently fighting in nearly four hundred he was glad he finally had some semblance of a work out from the man. He then released his breath attack down towards Naruto who raised his hand and black markings appeared above him.
"Not today pal "Hiraishin: Dorai (Flying Thunder God: Guiding Thunder)" Naruto called out as the magic entered the seal and disappeared, which confused all as they had felt the amount of power that was in the dragon's roar. However an explosion high in the sky alerted them that he had sent the attack packing and away from him with ease. Naruto drew his head back and roared releasing a large bolt of lightning from his mouth, larger than what Laxus had released in his fight with Hades, where it blitzed towards Acnologia and struck the dragon in his chest and exploded in a large sound of thunder shaking the island once again from his power.
"You're not going to leave here alive!" Naruto yelled as he jumped up towards Acnologia and encased his body in a combination of both lightning and hellfire "Raijigokuryū no Kenkaku ("Lightning Hellfire Dragon's Sword Horn)" Naruto yelled out as he struck Acnologia in the gut with his head hard enough to break a few scales off. The lightning and fire fade away and Acnologia grabs Naruto and throws him to the ground where Naruto crater's the ground. He groaned, that was gonna leave a mark. And to add to it he was low on both chakra and magic. Once again Acnologia drew his head back to ready another breath attack for the blonde man.
End: FIve FInger Death Punch-Under and Over It
Naruto smirks as Acnologia and just as the attack hits the island Naruto disappears in a yellow flash where he appears on the ship Fairy Tail was on as they watch the dome of light appear looking at it with wide eyes. "H-he's gone..." Natsu said quietly. "Not quite Natsu-san." Naruto says drawing the groups attention causing them to turn around to see Naruto laying on his back breathing hard as he lay on the hardwood of the deck while he looked up to the sky. "W-what... How... how'd you get from the Island to here so quickly? I mean we all saw the breath attack hit you." Natsu exclaims. Naruto smirked to himself at that, and he was lucky he had marked the teen when he did or else he really would have died.
"Check your arm." Naruto said and the teen did and saw weird writing on his skin. "What the heck is this, when did I get a tattoo?" Natsu asked. Naruto gave a chuckle as he stood up "That's not a tattoo. That right there is the world's most powerful teleportation ability the world has ever seen. It allows for near instantaneous teleportation between the user and that mark. My ancestor Tobirama Senju created that when he was in his youth, and my father recreated and perfected it when he grew up. I then learned it and improved it to th point I only need to leave a mark and I can go to where ever that mark is." Naruto said to the now amazed teen.
Hell all of them were amazed by how he told them how the spell worked. Makarov however just smiled to the man "Well I thank you for coming when you did. If it weren't for you I shudder to think what would have happened. Heck for all I know we could have spent the next seven years stuck in a sphere of magic at the bottom of the sea in a cryogenic state for all I know." Makarov said to the now laughing blonde. "Well let's just say I owed Acnologia one. Still do actually, his scales were like that of steel when I struck them." Naruto said as he thought about his fight. "I know what you mean. I had the misfortune of running into Acnologia a few months ago, and he tore me apart. Literally." Gildarts said.
"Well you should count yourself lucky then. I've met several people who were attacked by dragon's and hardly any of them ever survived long enough to tell the tale." Naruto said. "Yeah I guess I should huh." Gildarts said. Natsu then ran up to Naruto "So did you think about joining the guild yet?" he asked the blonde while Gajeel groaned. "Salamander if this guys wanted to join the guild then I'm sure he would have done so by now." Gajeel said. Naruto thought about it for a second and could only sigh. Natsu was right, if anything he couldn't go back in time there was just no way. So with that Naruto nodded "I'd like that. So will you have this ancient piece of history join your guild?" he asked.
Makarov laughed "My boy that was all you had to do." the old man told the much older man. "You know I bet our guild is going to get way more powerful now that we have this guy with us." Natsu said eagerly. Naturally everyone chuckled at Natsu's antics as the pink haired man was always naturally funny. Mira raised her hand "I'll go get the stamp when we get back to the guild." she offered as the port of Hargeon came into view. The Rune Knights had went their own way long ago, and now they were home. "So where are we now?" Naruto asked them. "Welcome Naruto to Hargeon, and the start of a new adventure." Makarov said to the man.

1The reason I killed of the Tailed Beast's was I think that having all nine bijuu along with the ability to transform into a dragon at will is a bit to overpowering, even by my standards. So I worked in in that when Naruto began learning his Dragon Slayer Magic the Gedo Mezo absorbed them into itself, but didn't evolve into the ten tails as it filtered all the bijuu chakra into the Dragon Seed to when he evolved he would be more powerful than Acnologia was.
I know some of you may hate me for getting rid of them, but it is what it is. The part where I sent Naruto into the future was a literal last minute change of plans as it suddenly came to me, and I was like "Ok so he uses a technique so powerful that it backfires and sends him to the future hmmm let me think about it for a second... Wow that sounds like a really good idea." so I just went with it and I am glad I did as I love the way I ended this chapter. And for Naruto know Merlin that was my own personal twist to the story as well as Naruto absorbing Belserion into his body.
