And we are back with another chapter of The Guardian. I thank you for all the reviews that you left me, and I hope to keep getting more from you guys. Anyways since I forgot to answer this one thing in the last chapter I guess I can do it now. I was asked by someone, and I am not naming names as this was unanimous, but I'm sorry but I won't be doing the single line thing where when one person talks and then-
-I go down and then continue to type like this. I'm sorry but that's just not how I write it's just something that I do so I hope you can understand that. Anyways enjoy this new chapter for The Guardian and make to leave me review after reading it.
Previously: "Well you should count yourself lucky then. I've met several people who were attacked by dragon's and hardly any of them ever survived long enough to tell the tale." Naruto said. "Yeah I guess I should huh." Gildarts said. Natsu then ran up to Naruto "So did you think about joining the guild yet?" he asked the blonde while Gajeel groaned. "Salamander if this guys wanted to join the guild then I'm sure he would have done so by now." Gajeel said. Naruto thought about it for a second and could only sigh. Natsu was right, if anything he couldn't go back in time there was just no way. So with that Naruto nodded "I'd like that. So will you have this ancient piece of history join your guild?" he asked.
Makarov laughed "My boy that was all you had to do." the old man told the much older man. "You know I bet our guild is going to get way more powerful now that we have this guy with us." Natsu said eagerly. Naturally everyone chuckled at Natsu's antics as the pink haired man was always naturally funny. Mira raised her hand "I'll go get the stamp when we get back to the guild." she offered as the port of Hargeon came into view. The Rune Knights had went their own way long ago, and now they were home. "So where are we now?" Naruto asked them. "Welcome Naruto to Hargeon, and the start of a new adventure." Makarov said to the man.
Naruto looked around him at all the sights, and he had to admit it wasn't much different than what he was used to four centuries ago. Makarov and his group walked into a large building resembling that of a castle, much like the one he had in Alvarez, and almost immediately the group was bombarded by a large number of people who were asking questions rapidly. Makarov raised his hand and they all quieted down where the short man then jumped up onto the bar, or at least that's what it appeared to be. He then cleared his throat and thought about what he was going to tell the guild. To be honest he didn't know exactly how he was going to tell them.
"The rumors you've been hearing about Tenrou Island being attacked are true. The island was indeed attacked by a dark guild, but through our power we managed o defeat them. Several hours after we rested up another enemy showed up in the form of Acnologia the Black Dragon of the Apocalypse. However just when all hope seemed to be lost our salvation came in the form of this man." Makarov said as he motioned to Naruto causing all the people to look at him. "This man did what no other man could and faced Acnologia in battle. His abilities with his magic not only matched Acnologia blow for blow, but even managed to save our lives." he told them.
"This man is our savior, and without him we surely might've died." Makarov told them and then jumped down. The next thing Naruto know's is all the people are cheering loudly and celebrating. Naruto sat down and sighed, his legs were tired, his whole body ached as he was real low on energy. Mira came over with a tray of food "Here you go. It's a little something I whipped up for you. I guess this is my way of saying thanks." the white haired woman said to him. Naruto nodded his thanks and began to eat the meal she had provided him. He wouldn't say it with a mouth full of food, but it was delicious and was practically filled with flavor. Very good indeed.
A few seconds later Mira came back with what appeared to be a rod of some kind. Did she plan to beat on him, because that wasn't going to be a good idea if she was. Naruto looked at her with a raised eyebrow "What the hell is that supposed to be?" he asked. Mira gave a light giggle "It's the guild stamper, it allows for one to stamp another with a magical stamp of whatever color in the symbol designed into its tip. See." she said as she showed him the same mark that was on her left thigh. Naruto hummed and looked at her "Do I get it in whatever color I want?" he asked just to be sure and Mira nodded her head showing that he could indeed get it in whatever color.
Naruto thought about it and then began removing his armor, and then the mesh-armor. Mira gasped when she saw that his body was littered in scars. Some new... and some very old. However there was one that stood out the most to her, and it was the scar that was above his heart showing that something had pierced through his chest at one point in time. She then blushed as Naruto pointed to the center of his chest "Center of my chest in orange." he told the blushing man. Mira nodded her head not trusting herself to speak as she might become a stuttering mess if she did talk and placed the marker for a few seconds and then removed it to show the new mark.
"Welcome to the guild." she said to Naruto and then walked away quickly her blush more prominent than before. Makarov seeing Naruto accept the mark raised his mug "Fairy Tail has a new member. Let's celebrate." the old man said and everyone began to party even more. As he looked around Naruto could see Natsu and Gray having their dayly argument which sorta reminded him of his and Sasuke's rivalry when the Uchiha was still alive. He could see Erza chewing on a cheesecake in her own space. If he were honest she looked like Irene so much he almost mistook her for her mother for a bit. He knew who she was because of the fact they share so many similarities.
Naruto then looked to see Lucy and Wendy having fun in a different corner of the guild as they laughed their hearts out. Naruto didn't know how they could be so jovial as they had literally been attacked by the most demonic thing the world ever seen, but they were. Naruto then looked to Laxus and the rest of the Thunder Legion and saw that the female member was blushing due to something the one in black said before she hit him on his head with a mug of beer which knocked him out of his seat. Naruto could see the half naked Cana and Gildarts trying to drink the other under the table, oh yeah they were father and daughter alright.
Naruto then looked to Makarov. If he wanted to be honest he needed to know what had changed since the Dragon King Festival so with that in mind he got up and walked over to the short man and cleared his throat to gain his attention. Makarov turned and giggled drunkenly "How can I help you this fine hour my boy?" the old man asked him. Ok take that back, he was hammered to the floor. Naruto scratched the back of his head "Oh I think we both know what I need. Information. To be specific I need information on this current era. Think you can help me out old timer?" Naruto asked the old man who was once more drinking his beer.
When he sat his mug down Makarov nodded his head and began explaining what was legal and illegal. He then went on to explain how the guild made money by taking various job requests from around the country and doing them for payment. When he was done Naruto nodded in understanding and with that Naruto walked over to the request board and grabbed one of the missions and looked at it... only to find he couldn't read a single word of it as the language was completely different than what he was used to... Just... fucking... great. Transported four-hundred years into the future and he didn't even know how to read now.
Naruto then walked over to Makarov and gave him the paper. Makarov looked to him then the paper, and then back to the blonde "Ok what do you want me to do about it?" he asked Naruto. "I can't read the language. It seems that too much time has gone by and the language barrier has jumped leaps and bounds because I can't understand a word this paper says." Naruto told the old man. Makarov nodded "The job requests that someone either grow a garden with magic or go buy some flowers and plant them for a gardener who has a broken leg. It's a anniversary gift to the gardener's wife." Makarov said to the blonde. Sounded simple enough.
"Ok and where is this gardeners house at?" Naruto asked Makarov. Makarov looked at the paper "It's in Erebor which is-oh wait that's right you don't know the way around the country as maps have changed since your time. Right so with that ask Lisanna, she is the young woman over there with short white hair, to tag along with you to get some help. Ok good luck." Makarov said and handed Naruto the paper. Naruto nodded his head and walked over to the young woman named Lisanna who appeared to be around eighteen in age if not a bit younger. He tapped her shoulder to get the young woman's attention causing her to turn and face him.
"Yeah." she said to the man before her eyes lit up, "Oh it's you." she said before Elfman raised his arm in a fistpump. "This is the man that is so manly he fought Acnologia on equal ground." Elfman said as the group clapped at knowing that bit of knowledge. Naruto ignored it however and presented Lisanna with the flyer "I need your help with this." he told the young woman as she read the flyer. Oh this would be fun to work on. She looked up at Naruto and nodded her head "Of course I'll help. I don't mind doing a bit of gardening." Lisanna said to the man. "Well since you know your way around how about you lead the way." he told Lisanna who nodded her head.
"Sure I guess I could help you out." she said as she motioned for him to follow. Walking out of the guild Lisanna turned to him "So will you be needing any gardening tools or things like that?" she asked him. Naruto shook his head "No not really. If I need tools then I can do this." Naruto said as he stopped causing Lisanna to stop as well. Naruto lifted his hands and they glowed in two different colors. His left hand was covered in what appeared to be red flames, while his right hand was covered with blue flames. Naruto then clapped his hands together causing the two different flames to burn purple. Naruto smirked at Lisanna's face as he was just about to unveil the finish.
"Banbutsu Sōzō (Creation of all Things)" Naruto proclaimed as the fire faded away. Naruto then opened his hand to show something amazing. It was a small lizard that was green in color with a white underbelly. She looked at him with wide eyes "You..." she started to say while Naruto nodded his head, "You created life... out of nothing..." she said and once again Naruto nodded his head as he placed the lizard on a tree they were passing. "How'd you do that?" she asked. "Well I guess you could call that the true power of Life Magic." Naruto said to the young woman as he motioned for her to continue leading him towards the train station.
"Life Magic what's that?" she asked. "It is a type of magic that allows me to literally take a drop of my own energy and then create something that had not been thought of or born and then create it to where it was and then breathe life into it. Technically that lizard wasn't born I just proceeded to create it a body as if it were already born. The actual concept of Life Magic was lost in the time of Merlin the Great." Naruto told her. Which was true he had taught Merlin the basics to everything he knew. For Lisanna it was hard to believe such magic could exist, but here it was actual magic that could create life out of literally nothing.
When they finally managed to arrive at the gardener's house in Erebor, Naruto swore he would rather die than ride another train, Lisanna knocked on the door to get the man's attention. The door opened to reveal a man on crutches. He was actually younger than the two had originally thought as the man appeared to be around thirty years old. Naruto shook his head clear "We are here to accept your job request sir." Naruto told the man. The man nodded his head and motioned for them to follow him. He lead the two to his back yard which was very large and very bare. So this was why the man had hire wizards to do something like this. Challenge accepted.
"Thanks for coming. I know I didn't say it at the door when I first answered, but I am really grateful you wizards come to help." the man said to them. The two waved it off and asked him what he wanted in his garden. He explained to them how he wanted his garden and that his wife wouldn't be back for a month as that was when their anniversary was. He wanted to surprise her when she got home with something she would never expect and then he wanted to then have a lovely picnic in the garden when it was done. Naruto nodded his head in understanding and had a idea come to mind. He then asked Lisanna if she would help the client with anything else while he took care of the garden.
When he felt the two of them were far enough away he set to work. For six hours Naruto tirelessly worked to make a garden that the man or his wife would ever forget and when he was done he called the two them out. Lisanna couldn't wait to see what Naruto had done as he said he had a very green thumb, which was why he would handle it. When she came outside to see what he had done, she took one look at the surroundings and gasped at what she saw. It was incredibly beautiful, almost like a stroy. Sakura blossoms towered over head, the bright pink trees seemed to let down a constant shower of their petals, covering the ground in a pink glaze.
The sun shined through the canopy, casting rays of light down on certain spots of the monastery's garden. With her enhanced eyesight, Lisanna managed to spot several birds perched in the trees, each one seemingly a different colour from the last, making the branches of the Sakura blossoms a light with colours. Several meters from the young woman was a pond, several koi fish swam around in the water, all of them different colours, much like the birds. However there was one thing that stood out the most in the garden, which was a tree. The tree itself was large and twisting, the trunk seemingly trying to wrap around itself as it stretched upwards.
The branches of the tree spread out like arms, trying to touch the entire garden and casting a shadow over everything underneath it in the midday sun. The leaves were a forest green, the bark, a light grey. Thick roots gripped the ground, absorbing nutrients from deep within the earth. The gardener took the sight in with a gasp of shock. Never before would he have thought that something so beautiful could have existed, but yet this garden that had never existed had become the most, correction second most, beautiful thing he had ever laid his eye's upon. Lisanna looked at Naruto with wide eyes, he really did have a green thumb it seemed.
The gardener paid the two of them plus a bit extra and told them it was a bonus for creating such a wonderful gift for his wife. The two of them left and boarded a train. Naruto was sick to his stomach but he held a good conversation with Lisanna. She asked him where the fish come from and he told her he created them like he had the lizard before, and he just sped up the natural time in the small plain where he quickly grew the tree's and flowers. Half of that was a lie as he had used the power of Mokuton to grow the tree's and then used the Creation of All Things to create the fish that were within the pond he had made as well.
When they arrived back in Magnolia it was nearly midnight so Naruto offered to walk the young woman to her house. When he reached Lisanna's house he stopped at the door and bid her farewell and good night and started to leave. It was only then that the young beauty realized that the powerful blonde had nowhere to stay. "Hey wait a second!" she called out to him causing him to stop and turn back around to face her. "Can I help you?" he asked the young woman. "Well it's just you don't have a place to stay so I was wondering... would you like to spend the night? I understand if you don't want to as this is the females dorm and all." Lisanna said to him.
Naruto shook his head "No, I would actually be grateful to you for allowing me to stay in your home." Naruto said to the white haired teen. Lisanna motioned for him to follow her inside which he did. She then led him to the couch and asked if sleeping on it would bother him which he told her he wouldn't mind. She then proceeded to bring him a extra blanket and a pillow which accepted from the young woman. When she left Naruto made himself comfortable ad laid down to get some sleep. The next morning Lisanna and her siblings came down the white haired woman saw that the blanket and pillow were arranged neatly and placed in a stack at the end of the couch.
The blanket was neatly folded and not a single wrinkle could be seen on it while everything was where it was supposed to be. When she arrived at the guild she saw that a suit of armor had been thrown away if the large trashcan filled with armor showed anything. However the young woman couldn't see hide nor hair of the blonde she had journeyed with. The sound of footsteps coming down the stairs gained her attention and she saw Naruto in a new outfit altogether showing he had discarded his armor for something that was more comfortable for him to wear. She wouldn't admit it out loud, but while the armor made him attractive what he wore now was much better.
The outfit he wore showed off the fact he was a very muscular person. She also saw a that a large tribal tattoo covered most of his left arm that spiraled down nearly the entire length of it. He wore a sleeveless black shirt, and his pants were which were bluish black were being held up by a white belt. He also had a tooth necklace around his neck with a green gem in the middle between all the teeth. All in all he was a very good looking man. Naruto and Makarov shared some final words and parted ways with Naruto walking down the steps towards the request board to try and find some work. He still couldn't read the language, but he did see pictures.
And knowing that a picture was worth a thousand words he knew who to ask. However before he could do that "NARUTO FIGHT ME!" Natsu yelled as he tried to strike his fellow dragon slayer. Naruto however just brought his fist back and smacked the dragon slayer with his fist and sent him flying through a hole in the roof with his Crash Magic. Lisanna couldn't help but be reminded of Natsu challenging Gildarts, who had left on his next journey, when they were little. Naruto then made his way towards of all people Mirajane "Oi I need a bit of help." Naruto said to the young woman. Mira gave a giggle towards Naruto "You sure you're not trying to get around?" she asked.
Naruto quirked an eyebrow "What does that even mean? No, I just need to do some guard duty for what appears to be a model shoot or something." Naruto said as he handed her the flyer. Mira looked at the flyer and laughed. She had forgotten in all the excitement that she had requested someone from the guild to watch over the photo shoot later that week. Mira calmed herself and looked at the blond man, who was now even hotter without the armor in her opinion "That's for later in the week." she told him. Naruto looked at the paper in confusion "Really but I thought it'd be like today or tomorrow" Naruto stated as he didn't understand why someone would hire protection so late in the week.
Mira giggled "Nope it's later. Maybe you should go pick another job for right now." Mira suggested as she took the flyer from the blonde powerhouse. Naruto shrugged his shoulders and went to pick another flyer. He really needed someone to help him learn this language or else he would never be able to understand what this era is really all about. Naruto walked up to the request board for another job and picked another one and walked back to the young woman and presented it to her "Ok what about this one?" he asked her as he handed her the flyer letting her look at it once again. Mira perked up as she took the flyer and began to look it over to see what it was about.
"Ok this is in Crocus. It is a request to move some boxes out of a warehouse so they can sell the warehouse as the owner hasn't been paying the taxes on it." she told him. "Ok and once again you're talking to a guy that doesn't understand what place is exactly, what place in this time." Naruto told her and Mira giggled again. She raised her hand in a non-offending way "I'm not trying to be rude by laughing at you that I promise, but maybe you should ask Lisanna to go with you again like you had her do yesterday when you took your first job." Mira told him. To be honest she didn't understand why she felt a little jealous over the fact that her sister went with him, but she was.
"Thanks." Naruto said and walked away. However a suddenly familiar aura entered his sensory field. Naruto didn't stop walking, but instead walked by everyone and out of the guild and into the woods where he continued to walk while the familiar aura continued to follow him. Naruto stopped in the middle of a large clearing that was comparable to that of one of Konoha's large training grounds. Naruto turned around and looked into the woods "I know you're there so show yourself to me... Sayla." Naruto said and as he had ordered the beautiful demoness walked out of the woods to the clearing. "Hello master welcome back." Sayla said to the blonde.
Naruto waved his hand and a small cabin rose from the ground. Naruto motioned for her to follow him inside and she did so without a word of protest. Inside the house was somehow fully furnished and even had all the appliances one would need to survive including a Lacrima Vision set. "So Sayla," Naruto began drawing the beautiful demoness out her thoughts to where she turned to face him. "What has happened since my disappearance four-hundred years ago during the Dragon King Festival. I can only assume you stayed with Irene until she was turned back into a human and had Erza." Naruto guessed. "Yes master I did keep her company." she admitted.
Naruto nodded and motioned for her to continue "I did stay with Irene-san as well as your son until he left to discover his own path in life. Your daughter wasn't born until the seven hundreds due to the fact we couldn't find a way to transform her back. However Zeref-sama found us one day as we were taking a break in the mountains and he turned her back saying she would help him, but she wouldn't know until she proved her loyalty to him." Sayla said to him. Naruto nodded his head and motioned for her to come over to him to which she complied as it was an order from her Master, and she would not disappoint him.
"Thank you Sayla. Now there is one more thing I would like for you to do for me." Naruto said to her. "What are your wishes master?" Sayla asked him. Naruto sat back in his chair "I want you to implant the knowledge I have been missing over the past four centuries into my brain with your curse. This includes how to read and write the language of the current era as well." Naruto said as Sayla complied with her master's wishes. After she had finished Naruto ordered her to stay in the house as he had work to do, and he left to find Lisanna so he go do the job in Crocus. When he did they then made their way to the train station where they quickly departed.
When they arrived at Crocus Lisanna led him to the job site and they quickly began to work. It wasn't a hard job as it was mostly boxes filled with decorations. Lisanna was now on a high shelf with Naruto underneath her watching just in case she fell. Lisanna had one last box she needed to retrieve before she was done with this particular shelf. However it was just a tad too far out of her reach. She reached a bit more towards it ignoring as the ladder teetered on a single leg and grabbed the box, only for her to fall off the ladder. Lisanna closed her eye's and waited to impact the ground, only to feel herself stop before she made contact on the floor.
"I got you." Naruto said to the young woman. Lisanna blushed when she realized she was being held bridal style, and by a man that was extremely good looking at that. "Uh... thanks. Can you put me down please?" she asked with a blush on her face. Naruto nodded and put her down on her feet before looking her over for injuries, just to be safe. When he found that there were none, naturally, they quickly finished what was left. Lisanna couldn't gt the image of him holding her like that out of her head. So whenever she looked at him she quickly turned away with a blush on her face so she didn't have to see how good looking he was.
Oh no... she was developing a crush on him. But she had a thing with Natsu, or at least she thought she did, but that didn't mean she had to hit on a man that was clearly older than her. A Rune Knight entered the warehouse just as they finished loading a pallet up with boxes. Naruto turned to face them "Can I help you this fine afternoon with something?" he asked the group of men. Lisanna walked up next to him to see the Rune Knights "Did we do something wrong?" she asked as the only time she ever saw the Rune Knights was when someone from Fairy Tail was getting arrested by them to be put on trial by the council in Era.
The leader shook his head "No we are here to retrieve him." the leader said as he pointed to Naruto. Naruto was puzzled "Me? But I have done nothing wrong have I to warrant such a meeting." Naruto said confused. The man shook his head "No, no you're not in trouble I assure you. The king just wants to speak with the man that managed to match the Black Dragon of the Apocalypse in battle." the knight said to him. Naruto raised a eyebrow before he shrugged. He then motioned for Lisanna to follow him, and the knights, where they quickly led them to the castle and inside to the throne room where a very short man sat on the throne.
Naruto bowed to the man alongside Lisanna "Your highness." the two said politely to the king. Toma was intrigued by the man, but he didn't voice it. Instead he got off his throne and walked down the stairs towards them. When he got down to him Naruto realized... he was as tall as the guild master. The king hummed "So you are the one that matched Acnologia the Black Dragon in combat. You are a bit different than what I imagined you to look like." the king said. Naruto spoke in a respectful tone "That is what a lot of my former enemy's thought before I showed them otherwise sir." Naruto told the king.
The short king laughed "Are you a dark wizard?" the king asked Naruto. Naruto shook his head "No my lord. If I was a dark wizard then I wouldn't have become part of a light guild." Naruto responded. Toma nodded his head as that was true, "So how exactly did you manage to match up with the demonic beast?" the man asked. Naruto smirked "Believe it or not sir I am actually from four and a half centuries in the past. I myself created Dragon Slayer Magic as a means to protect my people during a war the dragon's were waging against each other alongside the Sage Dragon Belserion who is now unfortunately deceased." Naruto said.
Lisanna had heard he was from the past, but to hear he was the creator of Natsu, Gajeel, Wendy, and Laxus' magic was insane. He was a monster, and if Natsu challenged him even at his best alongside the other dragon slayer's they would be torn apart in an instant. Toma laughed "You are a funny man Naruto-san but there is one thing I hate more than dark wizards, and that is a liar." the king said. "I assure you that I am being honest." Naruto said. "Very well. I will allow for you to prove to me that you are being honest to me before I send you on your way to finish what you have to do." the king told Naruto.
"Very well... what is it you want me to do in order to prove myself true?" Naruto asked the king. "I want you to fight against a beast we subdued. However this beast is something that has not been revealed to the world due to his power. In fact at one point in time I had been given false intel by a man proclaiming to be from the future where he tricked us into building a dark gateway to the past the-the king didn't finish as Naruto did so for him, "Eclipse Gate." Naruto said. So this was where Tatewaki had disappeared to huh. To think he would end up here of all places it was quite Ironic in his opinion. The king nodded his head yes showing Naruto he was right.
"Before we proceed to go fight this... beast I want you to tell me something, and be honest." Naruto said to the man. "Oh and that would be?" the king asked. "How come that of all dragon's you had to capture and somehow subdue it had to be Tatewaki the Apocalypse Dragon King... the true Apocalypse Dragon King and not the fake dragon proclaiming to be King of the Dragon's?" Naruto asked the now laughing king. "Oh hoh hoh hoh so you do indeed know what and whom we were going to see? Well truth is we caught him off guard and surprised him several decades ago. In fact he's been longer than I have been alive." the king said to Naruto.
"Wait a second don't tell me you're going to go fight a dragon with a title like that on your own without help from other dragon slayer's? Lisanna asked him. Naruto looked to her "This has been my battle for the last eight years during the war, and now that I find out that Tatewaki is still alive it needs to be done." Naruto said to her. "But he is a dragon and you're just one man." Lisanna said to him. "Wrong I am half god, half dragon." Naruto said before looking to the short man who was perplexed by Naruto's statement. "I want to fight Tatewaki when he is free. I will only do that if you release Tatewaki the Dragon King. That is my exception." Naruto said.
"Very well- however before he could do that Naruto interrupted him "I will allow you to release him on one more condition." Naruto said to th king. Toma was really intrigued now "Oh and that would be what exactly?" the king asked. "I want you to broadcast this fight across the land to show everyone that dragon's not only exist, but Fairy Tail is indeed the strongest guild in the world." Naruto said to Toma. Toma thought about it for a moment, and while it was indeed true such a fight would want to be witnessed by everyone in the world he wasn't sure how he would get such an event to be seen with mere Lacrima Vision.
"If you're worrying about how to make your way of televising this battle I have a solution if you'd hear me out." Naruto said to the king. "You're still going through with it?" Lisanna asked him now worried about the man's mental stability. The king motioned for him to go on "How about linking all the Lacrima Vision together with runes and then let me know when it is done so I may come back and fight Tatewaki." Naruto suggested to the man. Lisanna was shocked he would suggest a thing, and then continue to want to fight this Tatewaki dragon. He was utterly insane, and Lisanna was starting to wonder what she saw in the man. She had a crush how cute.
The king nodded his head "Very well I will notify you of when we have done such. Meanwhile you may want to brush up on your skills as Tatewaki is the most powerful dragon this world has seen with the exception of Acnologia." the king said. If the king only knew what Acnologia truly was then he wouldn't be saying that. Naruto nodded "Very well take all the time that you need." Naruto said. "Thank you I will notify you when we have succeeded in such a task." the king said and a rune knight ushered them out of the door. Lisanna didn't even know what happened next as the only thing she knew was that Naruto placed his hand on her shoulder and they vanished.
When they reappeared they were already at the guildhall just as another brawl was taking place. Lisanna gasped for breath as she suddenly felt sick to her stomach. What just happened, surely teleportation didn't have those kinds of side effects. It was like she was Natsu on a train. When she regained her bearings she glared at Naruto who chuckle at her face. "What?" he asked her. Lisanna huffed "Don't what me. Just because you're a dragon slayer doesn't mean you're special. And what the heck was that back there at the palace huh? Challenging a dragon to a death match, are you insane?" Lisanna asked the blonde loudly causing heads to turn in surprise.
Natu came running up "A dragon? Who is it? Is it Igneel?" he asked the duo. Lisanna shook her head "No it's not Natsu. He challenged a dragon named Takaki, a dragon on par with Acnologia." Lisanna said causing eye's to turn to the blonde. Natsu looked at him in excitement "You get to fight a dragon on par with Acnologia why didn't you mention us?" he asked the blonde. Naruto raised a finger "First off the dragon's name is Tatewaki." Naruto told them. He then raised another finger "Secondly Tatewaki the Apocalyptic Dragon King is a dragon whose power far surpasses that of any dragon in the world living or dead. Even Acnologia pales in comparison to his power." Naruto told them while some of the people gulped at hearing that such a monster existed. How would one even fight such a thing?
He then cleared his throat "Four hundred years ago Tatewaki disappeared from the world and nobody, and I mean nobody knew where he went and we couldn't find him. And now I find the very same dragon I have been hunting for is here in the future where the Ethernano levels are nearly sixty times higher than what they were in the past. This is the one fight that I need to finish and finish alone. Besides I have something he doesn't." Naruto said a bit smugly at the end. "Oh yeah and what's that?" Natsu asked. Naruto smirked "That's a secret Natsu." Naruto said as he kept the fact that he had ocular powers that surpassed anything they ever imagined.
"Well if you won't tell me then I want to see if I can beat it out of you." Natsu said as he lit his hand on fire. Naruto quirked an eyebrow "Are you sure you want to challenge me? If so then I have no choice but to show you why they called me the slayer of slayers." Naruto said to the rosette. "If I remember correctly I also asked for a spar when we got back here as well." Nats said to Naruto. Naruto nodded "Very well then I shall indulge you in a spar." Naruto told him as Natsu ran out of the guildhall. Lisanna sighed "Did you really have to say that? Now's he's fired up and ready to fight just about anyone." Lisanna said to Naruto with a hand on her hip.
Naruto chuckled "It's alright. And I'm thankful you kept the details of me being the creator of his magic a secret." he whispered in her ear causing her to shiver for some odd reason. Naruto slowly walked out after the teen who was then followed by a large crowd. Naruto seeing as he didn't want to do any damage to the town decided to walk into a clearing in the woods where they wouldn't hurt anybody. When they finally arrived at a clearing bets had already began to be made on who would win, most in Naruto's favor, while the two waited for the... spar to actually begin. In truth this was also a way to teach Natsu to think before he challenged him in a fight.
Enter-Fairy Tail OST: Gildarts vs Natsu
When all betting was over Makarov came over wearing the same suit he wore for Natsu's fight against Erza. "Alright are both fighters ready?" Makarov asked while the crowd cheered. Naruto said nothing while Natsu nodded eagerly. "Well with that this fight is now underway. Fighters... START!" Makarov said and jumped away. Natsu and Naruto didn't move. "Just because you have the same kind of magic I do doesn't mean you will easily win." Naruto told Natsu. "This means that I'm not going to hold back on you." Naruto said. "Good." Natsu said. Happy suddenly pulled out a suit of armor much to everyone's besides Gray, Erza, Laxus', Wendy's, and Lucy's confusion.
"Oi Happy what's with the armor?" Cana asked. The cat finished strapping the armor to his body before he answered. "I don't want to get hit by what comes next." Happy replied. "I guess I'll move first then." Natsu said as he lit his hands in hot flames. Charging the blond Naruto raised an eyebrow. "Oi are you sure you weren't dropped on the head as a kid. I'm not all that ready ya'know." Naruto said. "Karyū no Go Ken (Fire Dragon's Hard Fist)" Natsu called out as Naruto blocked it with his hand while a small explosion went off kicking up a cloud of dust. The cloud is blown away by a blast of wind courtesy of Naruto which revealed him to be calmly blocking Natsu's fist with his palm.
Naruto narrowed his eye's at the boy "I told you I won't hold back in this fight boy." Naruto said as his hand glowed in a familiar way. "That magic..." Wakaba said with wide eyes. "Don't tell me it's..." Macao said with equally wide eye's before a white pillar of energy burst from the blonde's palm engulfing Natsu in a white light. "WWWWAAAAAHHHH!" Natsu yells out in surprise. This creates a powerful gust of wind that forces all of them to block the sharp wind with their arms "It's Crash!" Mirajane exclaimed. "Oh man it's another Gildarts." Elfman said. "I thought he was a dragon slayer!" Pantherlily stated with wide eyes as he saw the boy get blown away.
"Holy shit how many magics does this guy know?" Wakaba asked. "Well from what we've seen and know so far he has Dragon Slayer Magic, and now he has Crash Magic so that means two so far." Macao answered. When the light was gone and the wind died down all that was left was only a small crater. Happy immediately thought the worst had befallen his friend "Natsu..." Happy said. "Oh god he actually got killed." Elfman said shocked to his core. "I'm not out yet." Natsu said as he appeared above Naruto. He then surrounded his body in flames before he headbutted Naruto. The ground under him glowed before it cratered under his feet.
"Look at that he actually crushed the ground under his feet to act as a cushion." Happy thought. "Smart move to use his Crash Magic to do something like that. He is definitely a S-class Mage, even though I thought he was a dragon slayer originally." Makarov thought. "I'm not done yet Naruto." Natsu said. He then lit his hands in flame again and punched at Naruto who raised his hand to block the strike. He blocked the flaming arm with his right forearm before Natsu punched at his head, but that too was blocked by Naruto's palm. Naruto then backhanded Natsu before he brought his fist down on the dragon slayers head sending him crashing to the ground deepening the crater.
"Natsu's getting thrashed out there." Happy said as he watched the fight. Natsu grits his teeth before he lights his feet in flames and begins to spin like a breakdancer. He then tries to kick Naruto but he just grabs the pinkette's foot and then starts to swing him around above his head before throwing him. Natsu grabs the ground with his hands and slides several feet back from Naruto, who has yet to move from his starting spot. Natsu then draws his head back before he calls out "Karyū no Hoko (Fire Dragon's Roar)" and spews out a large sea of flames towards his blonde predecessor in magic. Did he really think that was going to move him?
"Heh you're not that bad Natsu." Naruto said as the flames grew closer and closer to him. When they reached him Naruto quickly ate the flames and burped. Naruto wiped his mouth and looked at the teen "Now I think it's time to show you why I am just who I am." Naruto said as he drew his head back while Natsu got into a ready stance. While they couldn't see it Naruto was smirking at their possible reactions "Jigokuryū no Goka Mekkyaku (Hellfire Dragon's Great Fire Annihilation)" Naruto said and then it happened. He spewed a literal sea of flames out of his mouth so high it looked like the sky had been set on fire.
If he looked to either direction it looked like the wall of flame literally had no end to it no matter how far he looked. To those watching from behind the blonde it looked like the man had literally unleashed the gates of hell on the dragon slayer as they all looked at the man's technique with wide eyes. "HOLY SHIT!" Macao and Wakaba yelled out in sheer shock at the sight. "Dear god he's like an actual dragon." Lisanna said. "What a man. See that's the power of a real man right there." Elfman said as he shot his arms into the air with his fists clenched from the excitement he was getting to see from the two of them.
"So this is the power of a true dragon slayer..." Gajeel said with stunned eyes. Natsu gulped, but then a determined looked entered his eyes as he began to eat. All the flames disappeared into his gut. However something unexpected happened to the rosette. He had entered a new form of the dragon force as he had gained reptilian scales and traits, elongated, and sharper, canines and a red scale-like patterns on his skin. As a result of the sheer volume of the Magic Power itself the pink haired dragon slayer radiates incredible heat surrounding him in a radius expanding meters, the ground itself becomes lit in a circular inferno around Natsu.
This was an unintentional thing for Naruto to have done to the brat, but some things just happen. Natsu grinned as he looked at Naruto "I'm all fired up now "Enryūo no Hoko (Fire Dragon King's Roar)" Natsu yelled as he released his own sea of flames at Naruto. Naruto claps his hands together as if he were about to pray "Mokuton: Jukai Heki (Wood Style: World of Trees Wall)" Naruto intoned. The ground shook a bit before over a dozen trees rose from the ground and melded together and blocked the flames with ease. When Naruto felt the flames die down Naruto released the trees and allowed them to turn back into mud.
When they were fully dissolved it showed Natsu standing where he was calmly "You know you never did explain to us just why you really want to fight that dragon." Natsu said. Naruto folded his arms across his chest "There is a reason for that Natsu-san." Naruto told the teen. "Oh yeah and why is that?" he asked Naruto. "It's because when I was at the palace with Lisanna that I realized that they had captured Tatewaki. I sensed his power and energy trying to escape. Believe it or not he and I have been rivals for most of the war." Naruto said causing everyone's eyebrows to shoot up their foreheads in shock. Say what now? A rival... with a dragon...
Natsu smirked "Well then I guess that just means have to grow stronger to the point that I can beat both you and that Tatewaki dragon dude." Natsu said as he drew back a fist and let it fly at Naruto's head. "Enryūo no Tekken (Fire Dragon King's Hard Fist)" Natsu called out as the strike hit. Erza looked at the explosion of power with covered eye's "Did he get him? Surely such a strike would have succeeded in beating him." she wondered to herself. When the smoke died down Naruto was unfazed by the teens strike as they all saw Natsu's hand still buried in Naruto's cheek where it was turned to the left. All that power and that was the result of it all.
Naruto then buried his own fist in Natsu's gut and sent the teen flying with a glob of blood flying out of his mouth "Do you see it now Natsu. This is the difference in power that Tatewaki has over Acnologia." Naruto said to the pink haired wizard. And to think that this child was supposed to be the most powerful Etherious in existence, E.N.D. More like W.I.M.P.Y-E.N.D because his power, while it was impressive, was nothing like it was supposed to be. Maybe if he unlocked his power as a demon would he stand up to him in a fight, but right now his power levels were pitiful at most to say the least. If this was the extent of Igneel's training then there was something wrong here.
Oh god if Merlin were here he would say that this kid was a disgrace to magic itself, especially since he was meant to be a descendant of the man. Naruto stomped on the ground and a pillar of flame erupted up from underground "Jikgokuryū no Hakai Hashira (Hellfire Dragon's Destruction Pillar)" Naruto intoned. Natsu was blown away from the shockwave as the pillar rose up out of the ground. Mira was covering her face from the heat "Naruto-kun's power really is at a level of its own. First was his battle several days ago against Acnologia, and now he's beating Natsu to a pulp with almost no effort. He's incredible." the white haired woman thought.
Naruto however was thinking of something else, a particular acquaintance of his he hadn't seen in a while actually. Natsu recovered and drew his his head back and released another sea of flame at him. Naruto waved his hand and once again the flames were destroyed by his Crash Magic, not like when Natsu had fought Gildarts during the S-Class trials, and the flames dispersed into nothing. Natsu's prowess with his Dragon Slayer Magic was impressive, but it wasn't up to par with the power of a Dragon Slayer during the Dragon King Festival when he had first introduced Dragon Slayer Magic to the world of mankind where other people learned it to fight.
Naruto sighed "While I admit your prowess with your Dragon Slayer Magic is admirable, it's still nothing compared to when I go all out in a fight Natsu. Either get serious or I shall declare this spar over." Naruto said to the teen. Natsu smirked and charged him while lighting his hands on fire once again "Metsūryū Ogi: Guren Bakuenjin (Dragon Slayer's Secret Art: Crimson Lotus Exploding Flame Blade)" Natsu called out as he swipes his arms in a circular fashion, creating a powerful, and highly destructive, torrent of flames that barrages his target. Naruto is engulfed in a ball of flame with no one able to see him as the flames were to bright to look at.
When the flames die down Naruto is standing calmly as if the hot flames were like a mid afternoon sun. Happy could feel his jaw hit the ground "I don't believe it. When Natsu used that on Gildarts he managed to push the old man back, but yet he didn't even remotely faze Naruto. What kind of monster is he?" the cat thought to himself. Hell everyone had heard from Natsu about his fight against Gildarts, ut this fight was nothing compared to that small bout of magic.. Naruto sighed "Is that all you've got? And to think I had thought you more powerful than you looked to my eye's. You really are a disappointment to the wizards called dragon slayers." he told Natsu.
Naruto shook his head "Natsu I am in a time where my age makes me over four centuries old, and this is what the best you can offer me is, I expected more out of you." he told Natsu hoping to rile the boy up. So this was Natsu's full power, what a shame. If Merlin the first user of the Primordial Magic could see this boy's power he would probably feel ashamed by how lacking he was in the area of Magic Power. What many didn't know was that Merlin was actually Zeref's, and Natsu's by default, ancestor so he was naturally a geneious where he was able to create all of his Etherious brats, and Sayla can't forget about her, and he programmed them to kill him.
The only thing not mentioned to Natsu was the fact Naruto was well over ten millennia old so he had knowledge on things not even Merlin himself knew about. That was the gist of his rise to learning magic... to fight and kill Tatewaki. Other than that he had relied on all of his shinobi skills to get him to where he needed to get. The 'Primordial Magic' was the original magic. However as powerful as it was it still had its weaknesses to it so that was why he didn't use it that often. It truly was a one of a kind magic. That wasn't to say it was real, it was just very hard to 'obtain' and then visualize how to use it where it worked properly in the real world.
Natsu growled "And what's that supposed to mean? Are you saying that just because I can't push you back I can't win with my magic?" Natsu demanded from the blonde. Naruto shook his head "No not really. What I am trying to say is that if you want to have a remote chance of winning against me you may want to come at me with the intent to kill." he told Natsu. Natsu quirked an eyebrow "Intent to kill? What the heck do you mean by that, that you want me to kill you because that's not going to happen at all. I'm from Fairy Tail and we don't condone killing." he told Naruto. Naruto shook his head again showing that wasn't what he had meant to say.
"It's not that simple Natsu. Magic isn't meant to be used to just fight, it's meant to teach us things normally unlearnt in life. One wrong move and a simple spell like a Iron Fist could kill someone." Naruto said as he waved his hand once more repairing the burnt clothes he wore while the landscape repaired itself. "This spar is over Natsu, and I want some rest." Naruto said as he walked off. "Oi what about the spar?" Natsu asked. Naruto smirked "It's still my win." Naruto said confusing the boy. Natsu shook his fist at the blonde "And what the heck is that supposed to mean? I want to keep fighting dammit!" Natsu exclaimed at his blonde haired predecessor.
However the answer he was searching for came in the form of him screaming in pain before he was launched across the sky holding his butt "One-thousand Years of Death" Naruto said causing them all to look at the clone Naruto who had its hands clasped and pointed out. Did... did he just... poke Natsu in the butt to claim victory? Well that was anticlimactic. Makarov held up a hand "Winner of the match goes to Naruto Uzumaki." he announced. Naturally this caused those who lost their bets to have to pay those who had won the money they had bet against their own bet. When it was all done Naruto left the group and made his way to the woods where he was alone.
End-Fairy Tail OST: Gildarts vs Natsu
Fire seemed to surround Naruto before it faded away to show that he had disappeared while he was inside the vortex. When Naruto reappeared he was on top of a mountain with a opening in it large enough for a dragon to walk through. Naruto walked into the large opening and continued to do so until he was so deep inside the cave he had to use fire to light the way for him. He soon came across a door that was both large in size and just as wide as the cave. Naruto groaned to himself as he forgot that this was still down here so with that in mind... Seriously with as much time that had passed he had thought they would have disappeared already, obviously not.
He bit his thumb and swiped it over the door causing seals that had been placed there long ago and then they faded away. The door dissolved away and he walked past it and the door reappeared behind him once again. Naruto continued to make his way down until finally he stopped in front of another opening. With a sigh he knew was coming he walked past it. He gave a sharp whistle that echoed throughout the cavern and a large eye opened up. It was green in color, but he could feel the power that the owner of said eye possessed within their body. With a growl the monolithic being sat up and gave a loud yawn that practically shook the mountain.
"So you have finally returned." a deep voice said. Naruto waves his arm and instantly the dark cavern is lit with blue flames surrounding the two beings. Naruto was the small of the two while the latter was a black dragon of immense size, bigger than even Tatewaki himself. For a dragon's size to reach the level of the one in front of them they have to meet several requirements. The first is they must not die at a young age. The second is they must constantly eat a large substantial meal or raw magic from the air, something all dragon's can do. The third is they must also absorb the powers of other dragon's without outright killing the dragon.
The final is they must live to be well over one-thousand years."Hei Lei (Black Thunder) it's been a while." Naruto told the beast. Hei Lei huffed and released a thick cloud of smoke from his nostrils towards the blonde "That doesn't excuse you from interrupting my slumber." Hei Lei huffed out at him. Naruto stood still while he waved the smoke out of his face "I need your council once again." Naruto told the beast calmly. Hei Lei sat up and his height practically reached the ceiling "Oh so the man older than even I, the eldest of the dragon species, needs my guidance. What an honor it is indeed." the dragon said in a sarcastic tone of voice.
Naruto ignored the sarcasm in the dragon's voice "I have finally found Tatewaki, your son I might add, in this era. Why is that even happening. He went missing four hundred years ago and now I find out that some midget has kept him prisoner due to the fact he is powerful. If I didn't know any better I would say you brought him here to die. But that can't be true as I was told he was brought through the Eclipse." Naruto told the dragon. Hei Lei leaned down a bit "You only have half the knowledge you need. Very well I shall tell you what you need to know, but then you need to get out of here." Hei Lei huffed out again.
Naruto nodded his head "Tatewaki was indeed brought to this time period through the thing you call an Eclipse Gate which runs off the power of the Lunar Eclipse. However it was I who deemed it to happen. In a different time period a army of ten thousand dragon would appear and attack this country, and then the rest of the world. After near all humanity excluding yourself will die from the slaughter. So it was I who sent the knowledge of how to counter the dragons a bit into the mind of a man that survived. He then utilized the weak gate and traveled back here." Hei Lei stated.
"Ok that much I knew but do go on." Naruto said. "Acnologia will take the position as the most powerful being in the world and since there is nothing to oppose him proclaim himself the Dragon King. So when the man came back in time he told the king of the future and how to oppose it. So with that in mind they went back in time and convinced Tatewaki to come to the future where he could rule over humanity after he killed Acnologia. However it was a trap. Tatewaki liked the idea of subduing humanity and went through the gate and entered this time period unaware." Hei Lei told him.
"When Tatewaki emerged they had one thousand wizards drain his magic and he fell unconscious due to the fact he had lost all his magic so quickly. He would not awaken for nearly three months, plenty of time to build a prison for him and place him inside of it and lock him away until the time was right so to speak. So knowing that you would appear here in this timeline and with Tatewaki already subdued you would have no choice but to search and kill him. However I also knew you would need my knowledge which is why I brought you here today." Hei Lei told him. Say what now?
Naruto quirked an eyebrow "And killing Tatewaki will help me how?" Naruto asked the age old dragon. Hei Lei turned to where a solitary eye looked at Naruto "When Tatewaki falls by your hand you will use the magic you call Take Over and absorb Tatewaki into you like you have done with Belserion the Sage Dragon and then you will be able to call upon his abilities as well as turn into either dragon. However I too shall die in a short amount of time due to the fact I have outlived my time on this plane and then I shall move on beyond the mortal plane of existence." Hei Lei told him.
Naruto felt a bit of sadness when he was told one of his few friends that had lived as long as he had known him was about to reach the end of his road. However he couldn't help but be glad that his experience with Hei Lei was nothing short of amazing. Hei Lei broke his train if thought "When the time for me to move on comes I want you to promise me something my old friend." Hei Lei said to him. Naruto nodded his head "Of course." Naruto replied to the ancient dragon. "I want you to destroy my body and leave the ashes above ground to spread across the four corners of the earth so that I may be everywhere and nowhere. Promise me that when that day comes you'll do it." Hei Lei said. And once again Naruto nodded his head showing he would do as he was asked.
Hei Lei stretched a bit and then lay down with a sigh of contentment "Good, now leave me. I will see you then Naruto... Farewell." Hei Lei told the blonde god. Naruto nodded his head and left the room and sealed the cave on his way out. When he was outside the mountain cave Naruto sighed. Things were starting to change and they weren't for the better either. He really didn't like the fact he would have to fight Tatewaki or Acnologia. Well more so Acnologia as he had the power of the Etherious demons as well as the power of the dragons as it would just boost his power to levels beyond mortal comprehension.
Naruto vanished before he reappeared in the middle of a familiar forest. He looked up to see the vine covered cliffside and sighed in relaxation. He knew he would have to train like never before if he were to fight both Tatewaki and Acnologia. The thing was what better place to train then at home... in Konohagakure no sato. Naruto waved his arm and the gates that were closed for well over six thousand years swung open with loud creaks before they fell off their hinges with loud bangs. Well... that wasn't supposed to happen. Oh well he was home and there was nothing bad about that. It was a long and sad feeling, but it would fade in time.
Naruto slammed his foot on the ground and the vines that covered the cliff retracted back into the earth to reveal twelve faces on the monument. The first was his past life Hashirama Senju. After him was his brother Tobirama followed by his old idol Hiruzen Sarutobi. After the old man was his father Minato Namikaze. Then came the first female Hokage Tsunade Senju granddaughter of Hashirama. Next was his teacher Kakashi Hatake. After his master came his own whiskered face followed by Konohamaru Sarutobi grandson of Hiruzen. After his came the second female Hokage, Honoka Uzumaki his granddaughter. After that was another man named Hayate Sarutobi.
The tenth face was of a man named Sidkah Mitarashi great great grandson of his friend and sensei Iruka and Anko Mitarashi. The eleventh face was another man with a set of whiskers named after him. This was his great grandson Naruto Uzumaki the second. The final face was of a woman named Sakura Inuzuka, Kiba's great great great granddaughter. Naruto clapped his hands together as if he were in prayer "Arc of Time: Rewind" Naruto intoned. And then the buildings as well as the surrounding area started to repair itself to the point that all the buildings, houses and such things had returned to the point that they looked brand new.
The only thing missing was the people that would be walking around the village. Meanwhile not so far from the village was a woman wanted by the council of Fiore, as well as the kingdom itself. With her was a young teen with pink hair. The older woman wore a outfit that consists of little more than a tabard-like garment that exposes her back. The attire is open on both sides of her body except for a small attachment at her waist, and she dons long black boots that leave her upper thighs bare. The teen however wears some sort of gold wing-like headgear around her ears. Her uniform is a tight, purple leotard with brownish thigh-high boots that have white stripes at the top. Over her uniform, she wears a red cape with a golden lining around the edges.
This was Ultear Milkovich and Meredy her adopted daughter. They had ben on th run from the council for several days now, and they had finally made their way into the mountains. However what the two never expected to see was some kind of hidden city with monumental faces carved into the side of one of the mountains. The place was practically brand new, and yet... it was deserted. Wheat had caused the inhabitants to leave the place? Where did they go? Why did they go if such a place was like heaven? Naruto who had sensed their arrival from his position vanished to the Hokage tower where he had worked for nearly seventy, dreadful, years filling out paperwork.
When Ultear and Meredy finally arrived at the gates they seen some kind of writing on a set of rather large gates. Since the language is a dead one not seen written or spoken in a long time she can't translate it. However if she were capable of translating it she would have read 'Hi no Ishi' which would have translated into 'The Will of Fire' but sadly she couldn't. Walking past the gates they could see that the buildings were all built inside a gigantic crater made long ago by unknown means. Naruto had been standing at a window within the tower observing the two, but since he couldn't sense anything other than curiosity he would let them stay for now.
Ultear may not have been able to see anyone, however she could sense that the two of them were not alone within this place. She looked to the tall tower in the center of the crater and began walking towards it with a confused Meredy by her side. When they arrived at the tower they walked silently through the halls where the presence of whoever was there with them was getting closer and closer by the second. Upon reaching the top floor they walked into a room with several stacks of paperwork on a desk with a man standing at a window overlooking the lost city they had stumbled upon as they were making their escape from the world.
"So, you finally arrived." Naruto said to the two of them not turning around... yet. Ultear called on her orb and held it in her hand "Who are you, and how did you come to find this place before we did?" she asked him cautiously. No sense in asking rudely if what she could sense about his power was right. It was off the charts more so than even Hades' own power was. Naruto still not turning answered honestly "I was born here long before any wizard came to be. I am all that is left of this once beautiful city. Ultear turned her head "Could you turn around and face me so that I could see your face?" she asked curiously. She really wanted to see his face. Naruto shrugged and turned "Happy?" he asked her where she nodded her head showing that she was. He looked familiar for some reason, but couldn't place where she saw his face before. She cleared her throat "What is this place?" she asked him. Naruto cleared his own throat "Currently you are in the long forgotten village of Konohagakure, or in your tongue Hidden Leaf. It was once a militarized village, but was abandoned long ago after a war." he told her as he looked her in the eye's as he spoke.
She walked over to the window where he stood "It's a lovely view." she said as she looked out over the village. Naruto nodded his head "Indeed. However I want to know how it is you came to know of this place." he said in a tone that showed he would get answers one way or anther. Ultear still looking out over the forgotten village spoke "My old guild came upon this place when it was all but destroyed. Master Hades said that there would be much to learn from the ruins. I learned how to perfect my own Arc of Time here and it is what allowed me to lead them." she answered the ancient warrior whose name she had yet to hear.
Naruto nodded his head "Well then welcome to Konohagakure." he said as he walked away. Ultear rounded on him "Wait what's your name?" she asked as she grabbed his hand forcing him to stop. Naruto turned back and looked the time wizard in the eye "My name, is Naruto Uzumaki. May I know yours since it is only courtesy to do so." he said to her. Ultear nodded "It's Ultear, and that is Meredy my adopted daughter." she told him getting a nod from the blonde. "Very well Ultear. You and your daughter may stay and hone your abilities. Stay any place you would like that is a residential place. I take my leave." he said and vanished once more in a vortex of flame.
To be honest I had nothing coming to mind so I just wrote such a short chapter for this chapter's update and can't give a actual excuse why. I promise the next one will not only be longer, but will explain Naruto's actions more. I also made it a side chapter so that is why it is so short. Anyways leave a review and I will see you later.
