General pov:

Jeff sat in the living room watching all his sons except alan and gordon, alan was asleep in his room, gordon was swimming in the pool, Scott was sat doing homework ,john was reading a book - into the stars i believe, and virgil: virgil was sat staring into space muttering something. This wouldn't be odd if, A:he was 4 not 9 and B: didn't tell us off for muttering to yourself all the time. Instantly on 'protective dad mode' but kept calm, nothing was accomplished when no-one had a level head.

"Hey vergie,wha-" the tracy patriarch was cut off by the young medic "im virgil not vergie he is shy and hiding at the moment that's what me and thunder are trying to do , calm him down." virgil spoke with ease, you see he had so many people in his head always wanting to meet his brothers there was: virgil, he was calm and level headed,he would be the one to save the kitten in the tree, Thunder, he is like the over protective brother, slightly aggressive to bullies and very blunt. Virgie, he was shy and kid like, he is good friends with thunder and if you ever upset him Tunder will personally murder you and alex , he is an interlectual, scifi loving and adrenalin junky.

Jeff was now confused, thunder? virgie? But that's the name we have used all the time with him?

"Virgil ,I'm sorry, who is thunder? And why don't you want to be called virgie anymore?". Pondering, the calm boy had an idea ,why doesn't he show him, thunder wants to meet scott, and virgie wants to say hi to john any way soo…

"Dad….. if i show you them and some others will you freak out? It's not exactly normal." a whispered voice was heard, nodding jeff watched his son fall to the side a bit, sit up straight.

In a deeper voice and with a stone cold face the storm looked at Scott "Oi, virgil's bro get over here!"

A now equally confused Scott stood up and walked over to his brother "hey what's up virg? What's with the face"

Thunders mind:

make a good impression or i won't let you front again virgil

General POV:

"I'm not him, I'm thunder. Scott" now he turned to stare the older boy directly in the eye "one more joke about virgie being the wimp of the family as he cries easily, your worst nightmare would seem like wonderland."

He did the small fall and sit again; this timg jeff was getting an idea what was happening

"Alex! Nice to meet you!" he stuck his hand out with the most goofiest grin. Hesitantly, scott - who was still shocked from thunder - shook his hand "umm sorry what" scott said as his brain was scrambled firstly virgil said he was thunder and threntend me then did a completely 360 and said he was alex

"Sorry, we have never done this before and we are tired so mind if i stick around for a bit?"

Jeff, who thinks he knows what this is from helping brains when he was studying psychology slowly spoke "so Alex, how long have you been around?"

"well longer than thunder , he is the youngest but i shouldn't say that, but it's surprisingly virgie is the oldest apart from virgil, you know virgil has a wicked sense of humor but just doesn't show it, anyway he has never switched before and is exhausted so I'ma gonna go to bed."

Alex strolled of to their room, all people in the living room, who was by now listening in to their brother, Heard a grumbled "of course he is THAT type of guy"

"What the fuck was that?" scott was the first to speak

Jeff was next with a quick "language" and then a more collected "i think that was a identity disorder but i will have to check with brains until then IF virgil or who ever he says he is you have to except that" then he got up and strolled to brains office the old hankerbanker.

"H-he-hello m-mr t-tracy, kayo i-is j-just he-hhelping me" brains spoke with his usual stutter but saw the face on the tracy something must be up. He never looks like that unless….. One of the children was hurt. "Which o-one is i-i-injured"

"None per say are injured but one… well see for your self." jef lead brains round the corridors till he met with the young soon-to-be medic they knock on the sleek of white door and here a overly cheerful come in

When they say the middle child laying upside down on his bed talking to himself.

"Oh hi there dad, can i call you that well i am going to anyway, oh and who are you?"

stunned , brains tried to process what he just witnessed. This was like Gordon having a sugar rush but worse and the lack of knowledge to him … was… strange. "U-umm h-hello v-virgil!"

"Oh i see the problem here!" alex spoke with a cheery voice as he rolled over "i'm not virgil, im alex. He doesn't want to come out, something about good impressions , I wasn't listening…... oi words hurt" both brains and jeff were now confused. They never seen him like this: it was so not virgil it was surprising

"Alex, tell brains what you told me and you are acting so strange!" jef spoke in his authoritative tone which made Alex flinch, he is one of the most insecure people in Virgil's head. He acted like he does to make people feel safe.

"Oh… um im alex im the second eldest vergie is the eldest then me then thunder. Don't mistake virgil for virgie , thunder gets angry, we are all part of him" he gave a small fist bump to the air then looked down "im acting like i normally do its just you have only ever spoke to either vergie or virgil, i-i do this to make people feel safe" he now looked up tears spilling from his eyes `` a-am i doing i-it w-wrong"?
