This was a long time coming. It has been a long time since I have written anything but I have decided I wanted to finish what I started. Leave a review and I hope you enjoy.
"So tell me, Iron Man. Why would this take this women?"
Tony just keeps walking without saying another word. He doesn't know Daisy, nor would he trust her with that type of information while walking through the compound.
"Daisy, thank goodness I caught up to you, wow he takes off fast. The dwarfs are in position watching the building, if he tries to take off with Ms. Potts, we will have eyes on it." Simmons says trying to catch her breath.
All three of them turn hearing something down the hallway, Tony runs towards the sound but when they reach the room there is only one man why they do not recognize. "Where is she?" Tony asks punching this guy off of his feet.
"Gone, Hammer took off with her before you guys got here."
Tony looks at Daisy and Simmons, worry clouds his mind. He had been too late, as he stood there, he allowed all thoughts to cloud in his mind about what could have happened.
"Sir, she isn't here. We are back to square one." Simmons says
"Copy that, all of you need to remove yourselves from inside so we can assess the building and see if we can dig up any intel on where Hammer could have taken Potts." Coulson says over the intercom.
Minutes before SHEILD arrived
"Alright get her cuffed up, we need to be ready to move." Hammer says.
Pepper who is not able to stand is dragged up to her feet. Her hands are locked behind her back and Hammers team, most of whom she hadn't seen is there packing up all the equipment and begins to load it outside.
"Sir Stark is about 10 minutes out; satellites have picked up his location along with a jet a few minutes behind him" says one of his men. Hammer nods and pushed Pepper out the door and down the hallway.
As they step outside Pepper looks at her surrounding trying to figure out where she is at. She looks around at the sky to hope that Tony might see this and stop them from moving her to a new location. Hammer looks at Pepper who is watching the sky, "he will not make it in time. Alright everyone let's move." Pepper pulls away from the men, they all look at her. She knows with her lack of fighting skills she would not get away.
Hammer grabs her by the arm and pulls her into the back of the car and closes the door. Pepper put her head town and tears begin to roll down her face. "They were so close" she says out loud to herself. As they drive away the tries to look out the window to see if Tony gets there before they get too far but she sees nothing.
Hammer sits upfront in the passenger side of the vehicle, "good work" Hemmer says.
"Sir how were they able to trace where we were?" The driver asks.
"Because I made sure he could. This thing about Tony is he acts without thinking and us having his little plaything with us makes him vulnerable. Knowing he is so close but too late will drive him mad and that might make him more willing to negotiate with me" Hammer says looking out the window driving down I-90 towards Idaho.
Back at the warehouse
"Okay May, Daisy, Fitz, Simmons use whatever data you have collected in order to see where they went. Stark, stay calm we will find her." Coulson says.
Tony stills is shocked that Coulson is still alive. Coulson can see that Tony is still in shock along with everyone else around him.
"Yeah I know, I look great." He says before turning his back and heading back to the quin jet.
Natasha walks up next to Tony, "You know we traced how we were able to find the video feed. Hammer leaked it. He wanted you to know that he was here to drive you crazy"
Tony get s ready to take off, "It does not matter. I am going to find her no matter what and not even Hammer is going to stop me" As soon as he says that he takes off. Natasha sighs and heads onto the quin jet and they all head back to HQ. Once they all get back Fury meets them in the loading area.
"I was hoping you guys would not have come back empty handed, but I guess we will have to start back from where we started" Fury says
Sir we believe that Hammer leaked his location so we would follow his tracks but be too late" Simmons says. Fury nods and walks back up the stairs. Everyone follows him back to the main conference room. As they get back into the main room a message pops up on the screen.
When they click on it the only thing in the video, they see is Pepper laid out on the floor asleep. Hammer comes into the view from the left of the video.
"Alright Tony let's talk business" Hammer says to Tony.
