Hello readers and writers,

I'm still trying to get used to writing stories and this was actually my first fanfiction draft but never got round to write more, probably because I don't know how to write the middle or the ending. I hope you like this!

Chapter 1: New Start

After that horrendous battle, Elk and Lieza got married and decided to settle down on that beautiful beach island they once crashed. They have a four year old daughter, Meril named after Elk's childhood friend.

One sunny morning, Elk was training outside of his house, he was using his firepower to test how strong it can wipe out. After he finished, he heard a sweet little voice. "Daddy!" Elk turned around and smiled at his lovely cute daughter and it reminded him of his reaction whenever he watched his father training his powers. "Hey there Meril! I didn't know you were watching"

She happily ran up to him and Elk bent down to her level as she excitedly said, "Daddy, you're really powerful! In fact, that was the most powerful one you've ever done!". Elk smiled, picked her up and lifted her up to hear her laughter. Meril and Elk have the strongest father and daughter bond like no one else, Elk gave his daughter his red headband so he lets his hair down now (coz I think he looks more handsome that way).

"Thank you, sweetie. But your powers are strong too believe it or not."

"Really? but daddy, I thought you said that only boys had that kind of power from your village."

"Well yes, but because your mine and mummy's daughter you have half of me and half of hers." he explained plainly.

"That's so cool! But you're the best, daddy. I wanna be just like you and mummy, someday."

"Yeah? Well, when you're a little older, I'll teach you how to be strong."

Elk started to throw her up and down in the air, just to hear that cute sound she was making. Lieza came out, to see how her two people are doing. As she walked up to them, she gave Elk a kiss on a cheek. Of course, little Meril didn't think it was so great, so her reaction was, "Yuck!".

They both looked down at her and Elk gave a cheeky grin, he picked her up with one arm around her shoulders and the other under her legs and said, "You know what happens to a little miss who says 'yuck' to her own parents?"

Meril shocked her head but she had a feeling that her daddy was up to something.

"They get this! You asked for it!" Elk said as he he grabbed the bottom of her shirt with his teeth and pulled it up to reveal her tummy, placed his mouth to her skin, and blew. Her laughter was outrageous, she tried to use her little hands to his head and using all the might to stop him from tickling her, but all it did was encourage Elk to blow harder and as a result Meril to laugh even harder too.

He then stopped so he'd let Meril to take a laughter break and said,

"And who knows? Maybe someday you'll get married."

"No way! I don't want to get married ever!"

Elk and Lieza laughed at their daughter's cutest comment ever,

"Well let's go inside and have breakfast before it gets cold." Lieza suggested, as Elk placed Meril on his shoulders and put his hands on her ankles, so she doesn't fall.

"Good idea, Lieza. I'm starving after all that training."

So, they all head inside the house, then Elk remembered that there was something he had to tell Lieza.

"Is there something wrong?" Leiza asked with a worried look on her face.

"What's wrong, daddy?" Meril asked as she lowered her head down to see eye to eye with Elk.

Elk snapped out of it and said, "Oh, it's nothing, daddy just has silly imaginations. Come on then, let's go back into the house. Duck your head sweetie, you don't want to bump your head."

Lieza knew that look on Elk's face but they didn't want to worry their daughter. As they went back inside…

As soon as Meril was settled for her lunch, Elk went to talk to Lieza alone,

"So Elk, what's wrong?"

And so he begins to say, "Well I got a call from Shu, saying that he coming here to talk to me and you tonight and it sounded pretty serious."

Now Lieza got worried, "I see, well what do you think he wants?"

"Your guess is as good as mine. But I'm sure it's nothing to worry about. Hey, why don't the three of us to for a walk. It's quite a nice day outside. What do you think sweetie?" he asked.

Meril immediately nodded her head and ran over to Elk and grabbed his arm and said, "Come on, daddy! Let's go or it'll get dark!"

Elk laughter and replied, "Alright already!

Lieza decided to decline, shes had a look at the house and decided to give a clear up for tonight. "You two go on, I'm gonna clean the house abit. Besides, It's nice to have a daddy and daughter time." She sweetly answered.

Elk nodded and said, "Well looks like it's just you and me kiddo! Ready to hit the road?"

Meril raised her arm and says, "Yeah! Bye bye mummy. See you when we get back."

"See you when you get back, honey and remember to be a good girl and listen to what daddy says,okay?"

Meril nodded and carried on pulling poor Elk, "Meril, if you carry on pulling your poor daddy's arm it will fall off." He joked

"But your walking so slow!" She whined

"We'll see you honey, we won't be too long. Alright Meril, I'm coming." Elk said as they walked out from the door.
