Killua ran up, there was just trees and hills as far as the eye could see, what? I thought there was people there. 'let's look around' gon said. They looked around and eventually came across a town, they walked into what looks like a bar? Pitou and gon sat down, whereas killua was skilled in information gathering courtesy of his assassin training so he went off for a couple of hours leaving gon to repeatedly threaten and insult pitou. Killua sat down with them and said 'I'll make this simple we're probably not in our world anymore or this is just a nen ability currently we're on an island in something called the grand line, nen doesn't exist here but there are two other things we can use as substitute, haki and devil fruits, haki is harder to learn than nen but a devil fruit is completely different, if you eat it gives you a unique ability but the catch is you don't know what you'll get' 'shouldn't you just eat it anyways then' pitou questioned 'there's a catch, if you eat it the ocean rejects you so you lose the ability to swim, and in his world, pirates are everywhere, and they're all looking for this treasure called the one piece, it's the biggest treasure in the world and those you find it will be known as the… Pirate king' 'Killua lets make a crew, I want to find the one piece, its sounds like a fun adventure!'

'But first gon let's get that hair cut' killua said bluntly 'Nya agreed' mocked pitou. 'fine let's get it over with and while I'm at it I'll buy some clothes too'

TIME SKIP

Gon had just gotten his new clothes (basically just a black tank top and the green pants he was wearing with kite) when he walked into the barbers he was met with a site he certainly wasn't expecting, in the barber getting his hair refined was knuckle? And sitting in the seats near him were shoot and youpi. 'PITOU' 'YOUPI' they both ran into a hug 'ah man pitou, I thought I would never see you again, one minute I was fighting these guys and the next minute I woke up on this weird island so we decided to put our differences aside for a bit to figure out our situation' 'same as me pouf! Only I was about to be killed but… do you want to join our crew!' 'Until we find the king, I'll join your crew' 'GON, why are you an adult?' 'I'm sorry knuckle I was prepared to throw it all away to kill pitou but after killua convinced me to stop and these strange conditions I decided to let pitou live… for now, anyway I think the reason I'm still in this form is because nen doesn't work here' 'oh… so it didn't work for me either I guess we're in this together huh?' Knuckle exclaimed 'yeah' gon said with a smile.

After getting his hair cut and convincing knuckle to join his crew, he went to find a ship and at the docks he met kite? 'gon? Why are you an adult don't tell m-' 'I'll explain later, but please join our crew we're gonna find this awesome treasure called the one piece' 'ok gon, but while explaining that mind explaining to me why there's two chimera ants in your crew' 'OK!' (ik it no makes no sense why kites alive but I rlly want him in this story so idc)

'Pitou, youpi' both pitou and youpi suddenly had a delirious joyous look on their face, that was their king! They all looked back, and it was meruem and pouf. Meruem strode up up to them and simply asked 'what is this, why are you gathered' Most of the hunters there wanted to bolt upon seeing the king. 'Your majesty forgive us we were simply forming a crew, but we will leave immediately' pitou exclaimed, gon shot her a dirty look. 'No no, I've heard of pirates, this sounds entertaining I'll be your captain' pouf simply nodded in agreement 'even though I the ants this pirate thing is the best thing we can do right now and meruem would be a better captain than me and that's it.' Killua and kite simply nodded but knuckle and gon looked annoyed but didn't complain. 'even now our majesty is the one in charge, these lowly humans should feel honored that the king even wants to be their captain' 'but I'll elect the one with black hair as my first mate' 'that sounds fun I'll do it ' Gon literally had to dodge an attack from pouf 'HOW DARE YOU DISRESPECT THE KING LIKE TH-' He was stopped mid-sentence by getting punched in the face by youpi 'How dare you disrespect your superior, POUF!' 'I'm sorry gon, please find it in your heart to forgive me.' 'fine but next time you attack me or killua, I'll kill you…' Pouf knew, he wasn't bluffing. 'Understood if this happens again, you may take my head.'

Meruem looked over at the dock and spotted a ship he liked, he leapt over and the rest followed. He walked up to the captain an said 'leave, this is my ship now' he was frozen in fear 'what the hell is that thing' 'do not make me repeat myself' he was still frozen 'tch' his head was taken off by meruem's tail. 'I taught to myself to navigate and sail to serve you my king may I be the navigator' it was met with a simple nod, 'I'm a pretty good cook, I'll be the cook.'

Meruem=captain

Gon=first mate

Kite=cook

Pitou=navigator

Musician=knuckle

Fighters=youpi, killua, pouf

They then all confirmed that they all have in fact, lost their nen.

After they had confirmed this, killua started to go in depth on everything he knows about this world. 'hmmm interesting, lets learn haki it can be a replacement for our loss of nen' said meruem 'But my king what about those devil fruits they might be useful' 'They would undoubtedly be helpful but they would be too much of a hassle to find and swimming is very useful but in order to learn haki we need to find a master of haki' 'I wonder if haki is as complex as nen, with nen having vows and categories and all that' killua questions 'I don't really care about all this crap! I just want to find a way back to our old world' as knuckle addressed the obvious everyone's face fell, 'There will most likely be a fruit that can send us back considering all the unique types' killua brought up. 'Let's look for a master of haki so they can teach us it, like master wing!' gon said 'I agree it would be extremely useful to find a master of haki to teach us about it.'
