"Such a massive chakra output out there." Sasuke said.
"It has to be one of the kages training. I can't see that anyone else would have this much chakra. Unless Naruto of course. But he would more likely be farther from the village so he doesn't gain any unwanted attention." Kakashi replied as he watched sasuke do his physical exercise.
Sasuke stood up and brushed dirt off of himself. "I have to see what's going on. I could learn something there."
Kakashi shrugged pulling out his book. "I can't order you not too. You're a jonin after all... I'll see you later… I want a bit of privacy today anyway."
Sasuke slightly muttered 'whatever' and disappeared leaving bolts of lightning behind. Kakashi eyebrows rose a bit. 'so he incorporated lightning chakra with his shunshin…impressive. My kids are really growing up.' Kakashi couldn't help but smile.
With her byakugan activated hinata could see the excessive chakra that was being released in the distance. 'is that Naruto fighting?' she had to be sure. She left her compound in a hurry. She was ordered by her father to rest today which she still was. But if Naruto was in any kind of trouble then she needed to be there for him. As she got closer and her vision was beginning to pick up on the people that were there she couldn't help but be worried. "Naruto!" she hissed.
"I told you to be careful! Why are you fighting two of our Hokages". Once she entered the forest of death she instantly saw in the distance the huge wooden walls that circled around a heavy mass of water. It was where her Naruto was fighting. The young girl easily scaled the wall landing on the roof of it. She conveniently landed right next to Sasuke who said nothing about her appearing. She looked at the uchiha noticing that his sharingan was activated.
"Learn anything?" she asked.
The boy did a 'hmph' crossing his arms he didn't peel his eyes away from the battle not one bit. "I've learned a quite a bit from the little time I've been here" Hinata frowned at sasuke. She then turned to the fight. It was Naruto and the second Hokage that were fighting right now while the first Hokage supported them by using wood jutsu to protect them from naruto's attacks. Her man was having a lot of trouble dealing with the second Hokage the man was faster and stronger then Naruto.
"Naruto shouldn't be fighting them. He's no where close to fighting Kage leveled opponets" she commented. She watched as the boy was thrown into the air by the first Hokage's wood jutsu.
"Hmph. And I thought you would have more faith in your fiancé." Hinata frowned at the hidden jab.
"I came here just when the second Hokage formed this large body of water. Naruto may be loosing but he is holding his own quite well." Hinata 's heart dropped when she saw the second Hokage's six water dragons form. She was just about to move in until a arm of Sasuke's blocked her .
"If you try to interrupt this fight you will have me to deal with." The Hyuga glared at the Uchiha. But he didn't see it. He was still watching the fight keenly down below. She looked back down at Naruto with fear gripping her heart. Memories of how he couldn't even create a bunshin surfaced. How could he possibly deal with an attack of that magnitude. The dragons roared as it fused into one crashing it's way down to her lover. She squinted naturally wanting to turn away but she resisited herself and watched on. To her completes surprise however the dragon stopped in its tracks not moving an inch. Her eyes were wide and her face was filled with disbelief.
"This is your first time seeing Naruto fight since he's been in the academy huh?" Sasuke asked. His voice was filled with amusement.
"When he told me about his power I didn't know it could be used… in this magnitude." She said. She then gasped when the jutsu completely vanished – as if it was a disapearing act. once the water dragon disappeared she saw that a massive amount of chakra exploded from Naruto. 'So he transferred the chakra of the water dragon into himself?' Hinata couldn't be sure sense it was her first time seeing this. He then shot a huge beam of concentrated chakra at the kages. Hinata could tell this jutsu was a fire jutsu. It was the strongest jutsu that she ever saw.
"Naruto is a genius Hinata. And he is also blessed…I envy the talent and power that he possess." Sasuke said.
Seeing Naruto do all this made pride swell high into Hinata. She turnt her head detecting movement. It was the fourth Hokage that appeared with a band of Anbu around him. He came just when Naruto let the beam off. "My boy made Tobirama and Hashirama back off…" Hinata sensed a bit of pride leaking from his voice.
"Hokage-sama do you want us to stop this? Theres been reports from villagers saying that they're nervous from all of this chakra being thrown around."
One of the anbu operatives said uneasily Minato laughed. "they'll get over it. There's worse things to be afraid of"
Minato glanced at Sasuke and Hinata then back at the fight before he spoke again. "Your generation has come a long way into becoming true shinobi. You all are on the right path in surpassing all that came before you. Take pride in that Sasuke. Just like Naruto you are truly powerful too."
Sasuke blushed a bit. 'I guess he heard what I said about being jealous of him.'
"Hinata… you are very important as well. One day you will be husband and wife. You have to make sure that he gets his rest and stay grounded… I fear my son one day will have to make a decision that could change all of our lives. He told me one day that he wasn't sure if he was even human…You be there for my boy. He loves you. And losing you will bring him so much pain"
Hinata looked at the man seriously. "I won't let Naruto go off in the deep end and I'll be sure not to die." Minato nodded.
"Good…Anyway I have more paper work that I need to tend to. I'll see you guys on your next mission briefing." Before they could give the man a reply he disappeared leaving a yellow flash behind. The anbu were still there and some of them grumbled that they wish that they could teleport as well.
"how can we protect the man if he's always disappearing somewhere." One of them muttered. All of the anbu shunshined away from the battle sight.
"Report!" the third Tsuchikage barked. The ninja before him bowed and then straightened himself up.
" We've sent outpost outside of grass country a five thousand are ready to evade the country. We are just waiting on your orders."
Onoki nodded sitting back in his seat. "Good once we've taken care of there country and shinobi village we will be one step closer at striking Konoah." Grass country was one of the countries that bordered around fire country.
"And what of rain country? there shinobi village being amegakure." Onoki asked.
The man before the Kage swallowed hard before he answered. "The scouts that enter through Amegakure never reported back to our outpost. We tried sending more men to see if we can rectify the problem but no one has returned from there."
The old man became uneasy. His killing intent raising through the roof scaring the poor man. "Find out what's going on there. Send one of our summons. Do something! Having unknowns are not to be tolerated."
The man bowed again. "Yes sir!"
The man's killing intent was still at an all time high. "how many men were lost?
"About twenty." He stuttered. Onoki slammed his fist on the desk. A loud crack could be heard in the room.
"Why wasn't I told this sooner?" The man was shivering like a leaf at this point. His kage killing intent was now all on him, focused like a sword.
"we thought we could find out what was going on before we'd tell you. We wanted to give you a full report!" Onoki snorted.
"That's a terrible exuse! Obviously no run of the mill runt can handle this. Send me Han and Roshi. Tell Han if he doesn't bring his ass that I'll make him regret defying me for all of the times he has." The jonin bowed and then disappeared down the hallway leaving onoki to his thoughts.
'That many men gone? It's a small number compared to how many troops iwagakure does have but still… In my book that isn't a small number either. Am I making the right decision in sending my jinchuriki there? No I'm not...ill see what the summons have to say. they will be more appropriate for a siruation like this. Ill use those two for insurance of our victory'
A couple minutes later Roshi popped up through his door. "what do you want?!" Roshi ordered.
Onoki glared at the man. "That is no way to talk to your Kage brat! I want you and Han gone by tomorrow to kusagakure. You and him will be leading that attack and once everything is secured takigakure will send us troops to help evade fire country. Hans men will go to Wind country while your forces will be heading to fire country." Han just walked through the door unlike his counterpart he didn't say anything to the old man he just waited to see what the man had to say.
"Address that you're here brat!" Han was silent for another second before he spoke.
"what?" Onoki had veins popping out of his for head. 'they have no respect for there higher ups. If they weren't valuable I'd kill them myself and find newer and younger hosts.' The Tsushikage told Han the details of what he wanted done and the huge man with steal armor just grunted and walked off.
Onoki sighed deeply leaning back in his seat. "Roshi. Han is probably on his way to kusagakure you should probably be on your way too."
The four tails jinchuriki nodded and briskly followed for han. Once they were gone onoki looked in the corner of his office and smirked. "How long are you going to hide there Mu sama"
"hmhmhm. You know, you wouldn't be able to see me if I didn't activate the jutsu in front of you." The man said. His whole body and face was wrapped in bandages making the man look like a mummy.
"True… what do you think of the jinchuriki?" Onoki asked.
The man frowned a bit thinking about the two. "They are very rude… but I could sense that their power is formidable. Any news of ishikawa sama?"
Onoki nodded as he thought about the first tsuchikage. "He's in Takigakure making sure that our alliance doesn't change sense war is starting. Takigakure shinobi are always shy when it comes to battle. However there talents are much needed and appreciated."
Mu nodded. "That's good. We need to show Konohagakure that they aren't the strongest anymore. They will fall and they will be enslaved to us as we were to them after the first shinobi world war."
Mu thought of madraa and frowned. "If Madraa is back Konoah won't be the only thing we have to worry about."
Onoki face scrunched up in anger as memories of the man flooded his mind. "I hate that man."
Mu nodded. "Me too. If he's around we are gonna have to put all of our efforts into killing the man… however I've been working on a style in combating that man. I know your but I could teach you a few things."
Onoki sighed to himself. "we will see…we will see sensei."
In the land of snow you could see thousands upon thousands of kumo shinobi trudging across the barren land. Everyone was shivering violently due to the harsh cold and snow that made up the land of snow. There was eight thousand men that were traversing the lands on their way to Yukagakure . The village was very adamant about not joining the war. They rather keep to themselves then to reply to the Raikages request of creating an alliance with them. Or to at least have safe passage through their country.
A shrugged of the cold air. 'No need to think about that now. We are still hundreds of miles from there..' A looked to his left where his father stood. Yari the third Raikage. The man was a monster and he taught A everything he knew. When he died the man did not fear for kumogakure's future. Because A surpassed him when it came to speed. However his father was on a whole other bracket when it came strength and endurance.
"Yes?" his father asked.
A looked back at the path ahead his face slightly grim. "I was just thinking that you being here troubles me."
Yari eyebrows rose curiously. "oh? You don't need my power? Im washed up to you huh?"
A growled. "Your joking was never welcomed. The first and second raikages are home organizing to send more troops while they bolster the city defenses. The help is welcomed but I cant shake the feeling you weren't just brought here for nothing."
"Ive checked and checked again in my mindscape and I found nothing that warrants any worry. Whoever did this were foolish and do not know the error of their ways."
A sighed. "Yeah. Your right if you really do have free reign then who ever casted the jutsu are either reckless or are purposely stirring the elemental nations."
Yuri nodded. "Your worried about what their plan is, because if it revolves around us it will ruin your chances of winning this war. What have I told you time and time again boy?!"
A glared at his father. He didn't like being called boy it was his fathers way of telling him he was incompetent and he was worrying about things that were fickle."forget I said anything."
A woman with blonde hair looked at the two curiously 'They seem to be having a heated conversation.' The woman named yugito thought.
'who cares… when will I be able to stretch and play.' A feminine voice whined insid her causing the woman to groan.
'soon Matatabi. Once we enter the land of fire A - sama said we could have free reign in destroying anything.' She thought.
'very well… Im so bored that I think im just gonna sleep some more' matatabi said.
Yugito mentally agreed. 'Very well. Its going to be a while till we reach there.' Matatabi severed the mental connection. Yugito then procceeded to walk with her counterpart, Killer Bee who was writing down in his journal mumbling to himself. She never understood what the man was doing. He apparently wanted to make a new style of music called rap. Despite his weirdness though, the man was a talented ninja who also had complete control of his bijuu. 'With us four leading this army nothing should get in our way.'
The next day naruto was seen ontop of the water surface huffing and puffing, his lungs were desperatly trying to grab for air. 'Ive never been pushed this far…However I was able to make one of them kneel.' Naruto looked at Tobirama who was on his knees huffing and puffing as well. He looked at the blonde haired boy with pride in his eyes. Hashirama stood in front of both of them with his arms crossed with the same infamous grin on his face.
" You now should be able to handle kage leveled ninja on your own naruto. The way things started.. well its amazing that you could progress this fast. Your almost drained from chakra but I could also sense the fox filling them natrually… However its taking him a lot longer when you previously ran out of chakra. Im no Hyuuga but this tells me your chakra capacity has risen a great deal because of this fight. I may not be able to see it but I can sense it. You have also unlocked what you would call another path?"
Naruto groaned as he shakingly stood up. He glared at his first hokage as he fell into his battle stance. Hashirama frowned at the boy as he slowly shook his head. " No kid. No more. if we continue you will die even if you did learn about a new power."
Naruto growled. " No I wont I must get stronger!"
Tobimaru groaned as he also stood up. "You're a fool kid. We have more experience then you. You should listen! You are pushing yourself way to far."
Naruto shook his head in frustration. "I don't care! I must get-" Hashriama and Tobirama eyebrows rose in curiousty when a girl the same age as Naruto apeared silently behind the boy and chopped at his neck. The boy instantly lost conciousness. Before he could sink to the forest floor she wrapped his arm over her shoulder helping him stand.
"And you arrre?" tobirama drawled.
"Hyuga Hinata. Heir to the Hyuga clan and naruto is my fiance." Hashirama beam at the girl. She could of swore his eyes were heart shaped for a moment.
"Naruto is not only good in battle; He also knows how to pick his women."
Hinata looked at the man incredulously. 'Well he really didn't have a choice in the matter at the time…but its none of this geezer's business.'
"Thank you for training Naruto. He will become a better ninja because of it." She did her best to bow but Naruto hampered her movement.
"No need to thank us princess Konoah will be better because of this." Hashirama said giving the girl another smile. Hinata did her best to bow again.
"You know we could take him to his father if he's to heavy." Tobiramu offered.
"No its fine. Naruto will be sleeping with me for the remainder of the time we're here." She said sweetly. The two kages jaws dropped because of the girls care free way of saying it.
"She looks so innocent." tobirmaru whispered. He chuckled nervously as he scratched the back of his head.
"These kids are shameless these days." The first hokage said.
Hinata smiled at the two. "Well it was nice actually meeting you two. I hope we can talk with better circumstances." the girl then disapeared with a shunshin. Hashirmaru blushed as he giggled and stared at the spot they were just at.
Seeing his brother acting like that made tobiramu smack him upside his head. "Lets go hashirama. Our wives are probably just as worried."
Hashirama nodded. "But wait." The man pulled out a sealing scroll and slammed it to the waters surface.
"Mito must have gave you that." Tobimaru guessed.
Hashirama nodded. "Yes she gave me a couple scrolls to practice my Fuinjutsu with." As they were talking the scroll was rapidly draining the huge mass of water.
Witnessing all of this made tobirama scoff. "Its amazing what ink and paper could do for you." It took Hashirama five second to seal up the huge mass of water. Once they were on the surface floor hashirama wooden walls retreated back through there leaving a menacing rumble through the area.
"You cant complain. You use Fuinjutsu to a certain extent as well." Tobirama nodded.
"Yes it has it uses. However its still not a fair advantage for the people who do knows it. Like the Uzumaki clan… How are they doing by the way? Im sure they were revived as well."
"Yes they were. Mito plans on me and her going back soon to help rebuild Uzugakure." Hashirama answered.
Tobiramu nodded. "Yes, with your wood release I can see why your needed…well lets get back. Fighting for an entire day made me very hungry."
Hashirama laughed. "hahaha of course brother!"
With Naruto over her shoulder hinata came through the window entering her room. She layed him gently to the right of her queen sized bed and stared at him for a second. Memories of his battle with the two kage invdaded her mind. The path he called kami will was a mystery for her. He was able to stop any jutsu that came his way. But with the first hokages mokuton he had to actually touch it to stop it. Maybe it was because it was a bloodline or he couldn't fully grasp the hard wood with his technique. The way he battled those two relentlessy for a full day made her want the blonde even more to be her husband. She couldn't help but to think what her kids would be like.
The Hyuuga blushed at the thought furiously. She turned on her heel and entered her bathroom. She needed to bathe due to being out for a full day. Despite her being a dirty killer, she took her hygiene seriously. She activated her Byakugan to keep an eye on the boy as she turned the water on. Once she undressed she entered the shower and began to bathe herself. As she washed herself she thought about Naruto's other extrodinary power that she personaly thought he mastered on the fly. It was the perfect defense. "Fumetsu" (indestructible) she remebered the word he yelled when he was in a very close to death situation.
Flashback
Naruto weaved and dodged the first hokages water bullets that traveled as fast as the speed of sound. He attempted to create a clone but the first hokage apeared in a blink of any eye over him with a downward axe kick. Naruto cursed as he cartwheeled out of the way but as he did this the boy was teleported to tobimarus postion. The second hokage had tag the boy with a Hiraishin seal that he planted on their previous encounters. The boy was now unwilling in front of the hokage who was putting his all into his next punch. A punch that coukd easily rival tsunade's punch. Sensing the danger and killing intent behind the blow he had no where to go the boy could on watch. At this point blank range he had no options until his skin and body hardened by godly amount of dense toughness. " Fumetsu!" he yelled. The second hokages punch connected which you could hear a loud thoom across the whole forest. Naruto didn't move an inch and instead of breaking something of the boys the man hand was instead broken. Tobirama cursed as he jumped too Hashirama's position making his older brother easily heal the broken fingers and snapped wrist. "How could a twelve year old boy have this much power?!" Tobirama hissed.
After Hinata finished her shower she got dressed in her pink night gown and walked towards the bed. She got behind aruto and wrapped her arms around him gently just so he didn't wake up. She stared at the back of his head silently thinking about all the times they spent together till this very moment right here. She couldn't help but feel giddy inside. She squeezed the blonde close as she closed her eyes and finally let sleep take her.
"Your last battle was the furthest you ever been pushed so far." The huge fox said as he stared at the blonde.
"Sense any improvements?" Naruto asked.
The fox nodded. "Although you have almost fully depleted your chakra resereves and even the power that is equivelent to a full tail that I have given you, I can feel that your pathways have became much thicker. When your chakra restores they will be equivelent to a high kage leveled shinobi. Although that is still puny reserves in my book. Once your chakra is fully assimilated with nature and both of our chakra is golden that is when I believe that our chakra reserves will be theoretically limitless."
Naruto smiled at that. "That's good to hear. Do you know what that golden chakra is?"
The kyuubi shook his huge head. "no. But I have some theories. One thing I know for sure is that when you activated your first path on sasuke is when I first noticed the golden color beginning to appear. It started from your eyes… Another thing could be nature chakra since you have such a high yang source of chakra it could just be a side affect… A side effect that gives you great benefits."
"I see." Naruto said as he stood up from his kneel. "Is their any bad side effects?"
The fox grunted. "If they were any negative effects to your body im sure you would have sensed it by now. To answer your question – no. Your jutsu are more potent then your average ninja and your more resielient to damage. Currently our chakra is made up fifty percent of this golden chakra."
Naruto smiled. "That's amazing!"
The fox leaned forward a bit looking at its jailor. "Yeess… I suppose it is. I would also like to thank you Naruto."
Naruto frowned. "Thank me for what?"
The huge fox huffed before he stared at Naruto more intently. "When you were talking to the second Hokage about us Bijuu… and about having respect for us… 'Bijuu'"
Naruto smiled widely as he sheepishly rubbed the back of his head. " No need to thank me for something that should already be given."
The fox snorted creating a loud boom as he sat on his haunches. "Even so… as a token of my gratitude I will give you three more tails of power. I hope that this will show you that I also have great respect for you."
Just as the fox said that a huge power suddenly coursed through Naruto. Naruto was complete surprised by this power up. He felt amazing. "H-how how are you able to give me this much chakra? I thought that the seal would stop you from doing things like this? Even if your intentions are good shouldn't the seal stop you?"
The fox nodded. "Yes it should stop me but the golden chakra we have is special. I've been able to corrode the seal with this special chakra that we have."
Naruto couldn't help but get nervous about that information. Then fox noticed almost instantly. "Don't worry brat I wont be breaking free no time soon... Your far too valuable for someone like me to kill."
Naruto nodded. "For what it's worth I'm sorry that your locked up inside me like this. I wish i could do something about it Kyuubi"
The red fox snorted. amused by the boys innocence. "Don't worry about it brat. when you let me help you in battles it lets me release some pent up tension. Even though my full power and might isn't unleashed I can at least do some things with the freedom you've gave me."
Naruto just smiled at the fox. for a couple of minutes it was a comfortable silence between the two before the fox spoke again. "I guess I should give you a little information about the three tails I just gave you. For starters your base level of chakra has grown ten times then what it originally was. I'd say you could throw around s rank jutsu without worrying about your reserves. to help you better gauge how much chakra you have..." the fox paused thinking of a better way of telling Naruto of how much chakra the boy actually had now.
"When you create clones you could easily create about a thousand of them - give or take now however you can easily create about ten thousand of clones give or take. as we speak the chakra that has been given to you is now being assimilated. in the next couple of days you will be one with four tails worth of my power. meaning I have no say what you do with it unless you allow me to."
Naruto was going to reply but the fox cut him off. "Now I know that you would rather that I control it since I have a better understanding on how it works and the unpredictably of the cloaks movements throws off the enemy. You should also know that if you release the full power of all of your tail that your cloak won't look the same as it did when you had only one tail."
Naruto frowned. "What do you mean?"
The huge fox began to get uncomfortable from sitting up for to long so it dropped on its stomach causing a huge shockwave to envelop the mindscape. " You will have to see for yourself. You can't do that yet because right now your with your fiance... I'm sure you don't want to scare her and everyone else that's in Konoah."
Naruto gave a deep sigh. "She's the one that must have knocked me out."
The fox chuckled. "Yes you were very tired at the time so you didn't have the energy to sense her... I didn't sense either since she didn't harbor any negative emotions for you. That girl is very talented. But this also reminds me of the other thing I want you to know about; and that's your defensive capabilities when all four of your tails are activated. do you remember when you took blows from that Tobimaru brat?"
Naruto nodded as he looked up at the fox.
"It was very painful even though you had my cloak a testament of his power. however now that you have four tails now and you will also have a new form, attacks like that won't have an effect on you. You could easily withstand S rank jutsu. but taking on attacks of that calibre will sap away your reserves so it would be preferable if you just avoid the attacks."
"Why am I able to possess so much power at such a young age. Surely my body would of given out by now from all of this." Naruto was slightly worried about all the power that he had at his disposal. hinata's concerns about his growth was slowly becoming his concerns.
The fox had an answer however. hopefully he could alleviate these concerns. "It's simple really when you activated those eyes your body began to transform from that day onward. You don't have the body of a mere human. since you have the blood of senju and uchiha within you your body activated and became the body of an Otsutski. That is your heritage. usually if you were just uchiha or senju then your blood would be diluted. however with the two DNA mixing it activated the true bloodline of the Otsutski."
Naruto frowned. "So I'm not human anymore?"
The fox shook it's head. "not physically. but there's no doubt about it you still possess a human heart and human mind. I can easily sense that"Naruto nodded. it was silent again for a few minutes while naruto was processing what the kyuubi said. "thank you kyuubi."
Naruto saw that the Fox's face expression change into something more serious. "don't call me kyuubi anymore... I don't car when other people call me that but when you call me that I can't help but get slightly offended."
Naruto tilted his head to the side as he looked up at the fox. "that isn't your name?"
The fox shook it's huge red head again. "nine tails is what you humans gave me because you all never had the courage to find out my true nature; let alone my name. For now on you will call me Kurama"
The blonde haired boy smiled. "I'm sorry to offend you Kurama."
The fox snorted as he laid his head on his paws and arm. "I've said what I had to say. I'm going to sleep"
Naruto chuckled. "Ok I'll see you later Kurama." Naruto then faded out of his mindscape.
