"As Luxa and Cajet swapped stories she got to know the handsome man a bit better. She had to admit that she thought he was good looking but she could never betray Gregor although they weren't exactly together. Cajet sure knew how to be an interesting person. Gregor was an interesting person as well and her friend but she didn't really know Gregor that much anymore. Cajet she had known for about two years. They had never really talked before but she considered him a friend. He always acted kind, polite and heroic. He was a bit stoic. Never really showing any emotion except for a occasional grin or smirk. But not really a mean smirk more of a playful smirk. She had heard that Cajet was an excellent game player and that he never lost a game of chess. At least from some bats that he played with. He was almost like a prince in a way. Other than that she really had no idea why he was talking with her. She figured he might have a liking for her. But did she feel the same way? Posssibly. But for her someone to love was everything. The person that she chose could affect the path of regalia desperately and she had to deal with the Prophecy of the Queen. Over the years she had discovered a hidden prophecy with the help of Nerissa. It was hidden way in a wall of the palace. She had found it when she noticed some of the rock cracked. "Luxa assumed that the hero was Gregor but it also mentions the warrior. So were they the same? Or not. And what was the hidden Jem? And some dark secret? But what could it be? And it said there would be another war. X marks the spot but what could that mean? It sounded like a pirate map where X marks the spot of the treasure. The golden age unearthed must mean the era of peace when everyone is peaceful and there is no fighting anymore. And the end of an era must mean the war would break that peace. But war with who? And what. The prophecy didn't make sense, how could it? There was no one who wanted a war as far as she knew. Unless it was some forgotten enemy. She would get Gregor to help her with it but for now she had to continue talking with Cajet. "So your highness what do you do in your spare time?" Cajet asked Luxa. "I like to play games with my cousins when they have free time or go on walks to see the outside of regalia where the common folk live" Luxa said. Cajet nodded and flipped his hair. For some reason Luxa found that kind of attractive. Maybe because one of his eyes was shown when he flipped his hair. But now his hair was covering one of his eyes. His eye were something. But she had to shake that feeling off. "Cajet what do you do in your spare time?" She returned the question. "I ponder the great mysteries of life, I also write books in my spare time" Cajet said. "Really an author?" Luxa said. She hadn't expected him to have written books before. "Yes I started when I was thirteen" Cajet said. "Tell me your highness are you betrothed?" Cajet said. "No why?" Luxa was confused on why he would ask hat question when she was obviously not. "Oh no reason but it would be good to pick a spouse that Howard would approve of as he is almost like your big brother, and he knows who are good people" Cajet said. "Yes Howard's approval does hold some weight but it does not affect things much I really haven't chosen anyone yet but I know that sooner or later people will want a heir to the throne to insure the royal line but right now that is not important" Luxa said. It was true already some people wanted Luxa to hurry up and get married and to bear a heir. But she wasn't ready for that and the only boy she had ever really like was Gregor. And unfortunately she was afraid he wasn't an option as the people of Regalia probably wouldn't approve of it, Howard wouldn't even though he was friends with Gregor and Gregor well, he had stuff to do in the overland so perhaps he wasn't someone she could consider which saddened her a bit. She would have to discuss it with Gregor sometime and perhaps Vikus and Howard. But Cajet she could consider. He was good looking and kind. But she didn't really know him all that well. But he did seem to be making a play sort of. "I would need to think about who I'd consider a spouse" Luxa said looking down. Cajet smiled and said "of course you don't just rush to get married you take time but not to much time to decided who you really like" Cajet said and with that Cajet stood up opened the door and left with a farewell to the Queen. Perhaps he really did like her. She didn't know. Luxa wondered when Gregor would return. He just said a few days. A knock on her door came and she opened it. It was a strange Overlander and Artemis. "Uh hi Artemis, who's your friend?" Luxa asked. "My name is X" the man said. X marks the spot? Could this be the X in the prophecy but what would he mark? It couldn't possibly be him it was probably just a coincidence. "Your another Overlander" Luxa said in more of a statement than a question. "Yes I suppose I am" X said. "Address her as your highness" Artemis said. "Oh sorry your highness" X said. "He just wanted to introduce himself" Artemis said. "Yes I know Gregor and I came down her to explore a bit" X said. As so he was just curious thought Luxa. "Well it's nice to meet you X" Luxa said politely. "Won't you come in?" She continued inviting them inside./p
"(X's POV)
"On the way to through some hallways they had run into Cajet who told them that he was wrong and that Luxa was in her room at the moment. X had thanked him and Artemis kind of waddled along showing him the royal suite. He still didn't trust the man. The man might have told them the wrong thing on purpose but for what reason? To keep someone or keep them away? Either way he wouldn't let anyone touch his technology here they wouldn't understand and he didn't want to show them. It was part of his hand. He would not reveal his deck. The only thing with him that could be considered a weapon was a machete that was given to him on his tenth birthday by his mom. It had been a family heirloom it had jade engraved in the hilt and family stories said that it was made of obsidian straight from a volcano but that part was most likely not true. The jade was quite genuine although. The jade was also quite nice it was a good treasure. And really his only treasure. He had seen some Underlanders wielding swords and he knew that his machete would be no match for them but he could try and fight if he had too. He could tell that some of the people were suspicious of Overlanders. He could assume that Gregor had something to do with that. He didn't know what had happened or why some people didn't like him but he would find out. He decided to press Artemis on it. Now he was sitting on the royal couch. He had to admit he thought she was pretty but she wasn't for him. Also he already knew about Gregor and her thanks to Artemis. "So why are you here?" Luxa asked. "I came wanting to find a place to hide where no one could find me for the moment, I ended up seeing Gregor come down here a while back" He said. "Hiding from what?" Luxa asked. "Bad people it's better to keep that information secret but they won't be able to find this place, so I ask permission to stay in your city" X said. Luxa thought about if for a moment and decided. "You can stay here, if anything happens it's my fault because I allowed you to stay" She said. "Thank you" X said. He was truly happy he could stay down here. But what would Gregor think when he finds him down here. He didn't know but he rather wanted to know. He would get his answer soon enough.

X and Luxa continued to talk for a while. X asked her if she liked Gregor. She blushed and tried to stutter and stuff. "Hah!" X said he knew that Gregor had someone special. Gregor always tried to deny it in virginia to girls who were interested in him. But now X knew that he had been right all along and he wasn't going to let Gregor see the end of it either. Just kidding he thought to himself he didn't care. That much. He kept some important stuff in his backpack for emergencies some high tech stuff that only he would trust himself with. Such as a small steel ball that he had made. He called it a POW ball and it went pow. Luxa ended up telling him about Gregors adventures. About how they had grown as more than friends over the adventures. How for a while they had absolutely despised each other. It more or less went in this order.

5(more than just friends) that's also in chronological order of the books pretty much. X was interested he might tell Z about this later but she was in an unknown place. X realized it could be some sort of book series like the stories of the warrior or the legends of the Overlander something like that. It would truly be a heroic series about a hero and his quirky intelligence that makes up for his faults. He could tell however that Luxa and Gregor had arguments in the past. As she spoke about some of their journeys in a sad kind of way. When she told him about the firelands she said she had declared war and that Gregor did not like that one bit. She had also mentioned something about a date with him which she blushed at. He knew they were great friends and he respected that. X told him that her about some of his stories. "I lived with my mom only for some time and one day she disappeared I haven't seen her in a while but I know she is out there" X said. Luxa felt sympathy for him "what was she like?" Luxa said softly aching for her own mother. "She was smart, funny and caring not much of it rubbed off on me though" X said. "That's not true" Luxa said. "I can tell that you are smart" she said. "Thanks" X said cracking a grin. "What else was she like what were her hobbies?" Luxa said. "She liked to study and work on technology, she taught a lot of her hacking skills and other skills to me but I know that she kept things from me as well" X said. "Hacking?" Luxa asked. "Yes it's something I do on my computer he said pulling out his laptop and showing her it. "Woah" she said as the light flicked on the computer. He showed her some of the files he had but he had no signal down here so he could not show her the internet but it could have been cool to show her that. "What about your parents?" X said. "I.. I never got to know them real well they were killed by rats a long time ago" Luxa said. "Vikus and Solovet, my grandparents were more or less my parents throughout my child hood" said Luxa. "I'm sorry" X said. "I never really knew what I was missing" Luxa admitted. She felt kind of empty about it.

against rats for killing her parents. But she had learned to like them over the years. Especially Ripred and the rats who had fought with them in the war of time. But than again she also felt hatred for Henry, he cousin who had tried to betrayal them so he could earn power. His sister Nerissa did not care that much that he died because she had felt it for the best. Nerissa had also been Queen a while ago but she wan unfit. Luxa had nothing against Nerissa. Nerissa was very much like a sister she had never had just as Henry was like an older brother. Now she only had Vikus, Nerissa, Miravet, and Gregor they were her family. And Howard of course but she still disliked Stelovet as she was very much a spoiled brat. Unfortunately for her they still came around sometime. Howard's parents were both very nice however so she had to wonder how Stelovet was such a brat. They hated each other. She had told X all of this and X was kind of weirded out she was telling him things that probably weren't supposed to be public news. X stored all the information for later in his brain or at least he wanted to but he tried to forget it so he would not say anything about it. "So Luxa what do you think of Gregor going to school in the Overland and coming down here?" X asked. "I am glad the Overlander is going to be a scholar and I am glad I have him back again, honestly things are good now but that might change soon" Luxa said with a worried expression. "What do you mean by that?" X said with a raised eyebrow. "It's just things shift so frequently and so quickly that we don't really know when a war could start or anything" Luxa said a bit nervously. "Uh huh" X said slowly trying to study her face. She looked away which proved she had something that she wasn't going to tell him, she would probably tell Gregor and he might be able to get it out of Gregor. He was again curious. He decided to push her on the subject. "Can I ask you a question?" He said. "Yes or course" Luxa said. "I know somethings wrong I can tell so what is it?" X said. Luxa looked shocked and worried. "Don't worry if you want me to keep it a secret I'll keep it a secret I promise" X said. "No it's better if it's public" Luxa said and took a deep breath. "It's a prophecy about Gregor and I think it might have something to do with you" Luxa said. X looked a bit shocked himself and said "what do you mean? What does it say?" X said. Luxa took another deep breath, pulled out a scroll and read.

The one who is too strong? Who was that and it also did mention X but as in a treasure map not as in if him. He was sure it wasn't about him and also he didn't believe in prophecy's, science was real, stories and prophecy's were not real. But he was again curious. "So the warrior is Gregor I am assuming?" X said. "Yes or it probably is" Luxa said. "And who is the hero?" X said. "I think it is Gregor but it also refers to him as the warrior so I think they are different people but I could not imagine who the hero is" Luxa said. X noticed that Artemis had said nothing the entire time. He didn't know why though.

She was just quiet. "What do you think of this Artemis I'm sure you could help us figure it out" Luxa said. "I guess I can help you figure out the prophecy of the Queen" Artemis purred. "What do you interpret the prophecy to mean?" X asked. "It says that the golden age is upon us but it might soon end charmingly which I don't understand what it means by that, and That I have more power than I can realize which I don't understand either, the warrior, Gregor had returned which marks the end of an era. And... and he must help or else his love will depart which I can only assume it means me but than again it uses lover and not queen as it does with Hero and warrior. It made her a bit sad both ways. X knew that she was feeling sad that she could die and sad that Gregor might love someone else. And it says that they will fight but the one who is too strong will win. Who was the one who was too strong. X didn't know but he would try and find out.
