Issei collapsed on the ground a few feet from the Vampire.

"Issei!" Asia ran over to him, she began to heal the now unconscious pervert.

"That's not good….."

"He won't be able to fight like that"

"We may have to go in without him"

A large red gauntlet suddenly formed on his arm and the gem began to glow.

Markus walked over to him and kneeled down.

"That would be me, you are Ddraig right?"

"Woah" Kiba spoke the one word that was on everyone's mind as they looked at the Vampire.

His clothing had changed drastically, he was wearing a black Flock Coat with red trimming and black pants. He had gloves and boots that were also black with red trimming. There was also a sword sheathed over his back.

"What happened to you?" Rias asked.

"This is my battle outfit. Do you have a problem with it?"

"N-no, its just…."

"It is time" Grayfia had been waiting in the room as well, having arrived early. "Are you all ready?"

Everyone nodded and stepped into the magic circle that would take them to the battle field.

When the light died down, they saw that they were in the clubroom.

The fool known as Riser Phenex had decided they needed a handicap, so he asked for the battle field to be a replica of the school.

"The battle will now begin"

The voice of Grayfia echoed throughout the field.

"Kiba and Akeno, you two go lay out some traps around the building" he pointed to the two in question.

Then he turned to Koneko. "You come with me"

Finally he turned to Rias. "Whatever you do, do NOT leave this room, same for you Asia. got it?" they both nodded,

"Ok, lets go"

Koneko followed her Senpai across the yard to the gym.

"There are four of them here, we will take them out and move on to the next area"

He calmly walked into the gym, Koneko followed wearily.

"Oh look, some of them actually came!"

"Hello girls, why don't we split this up"

He unsheathed his sword and pointed at the two blue haired girls. "You two fight me"

Koneko stared down the opposing Rook.

The other pawn just stayed back, assuming she was not needed.

The two pawns then pulled out chainsaws and ran at the Vampire.

"Chainsaws!?" he dodged several slashes easily and vanished.

"Wha- where did he go!?"

"Iyah!"

The girl watched as her sister fell to the ground and melted into blue dust.

"Riser Phenex, one Pawn, retired"

"Bastard!" the girl charged in rage at the loss of her sister.

Her chainsaw was broken after coming into contact with a return swing of Markus's sword. He took no break and finished the girl off.

"Riser Phenex, one Pawn, retired"

Markus blocked a strike from a wooden staff and faced down the other pawn.

"You are going to pay for that!"

"Hmm, you look tasty" Markus spoke with a lick of his lips.

"What?" the girl recoiled in confusion before it turned to fear when she saw his fangs.

"A Vampire!?" the girl was caught off guard and impaled by his sword.

"Riser Phenex, one Pawn, and one Rook, retired"

He looked over to see Koneko finish off her opponent as well. She walked over to him.

He reached out and began to pet her head. "Good job"

Her heart flutterd once more and she fought off a blush.

They exited the gym and began to walk, only making it a few feet before an explosion enveloped them both.

Risers Queen floated above, a small smile on her face.

"Rias Gremory, one Rook, Retired"

'One? But I got them both!'

The smoke cleared and she saw the one in black clothing still standing.

"H-how did you survive that!?"

Markus didn't get to respond, the Queen was struck by a bolt of white lightning. It was a strong one too.

"Riser Phenex, one Queen, retired"

"Nice shot Akeno!"

"Riser Phenex, three Pawns, retired"

'That must be Kiba'

From there on, they made quick work of the rest of Riser's pieces until only one Knight and two Bishops remained.

Markus locked on to the Bishop with blond drill like hair. He could tell by the smell of her blood that she was Riser's sister.

He smirked and used his speed to grab the girl and take her to a spot far from any help, pinning her to a tree in the process.

"W-what...how did-"

"You are Ravel Phenex, correct?"

"Yes I am, so you better let me go"

'I don't think I want to do that, Ima bit hungry and you seem like the perfect little snack"

Phenex Devils have a crazy regeneration power, so he should be able to drink all he wants and the girl would be fine.

"W-what are you talking about?"

His eyes began to glow, and his fangs extended.

"You're a Vampire!?"

"That's right, and you are my next meal"

"N-no-" he placed a hand over her mouth and turned her head to the side.

He bit into her neck and began to drink. He muffled yelps of pain only fed his sadistic pleasure just as much as her blood fed his strength.

"Riser Phenex, one Knight, and one Bishop, retired"

He let her go when he was satisfied and forced her to retire, he then emerged from the trees to see her brother fighting Kiba and Akeno.

"Oi! Bird brain, your fight is with me"

He turned around and eyed the vampire.

"You! What did you do to my sister!?"

"Oh I just took a bit of her blood, it was delicious" he flashed his fangs.

"A filthy lower being dared to touch my sister!? You will not be leaving here alive!"

"Come at me then" Markus hefted his sword, ready to test his new found powers.

"Void Blade" at his words, his sword was covered with what looked like a black liquid that seemed to be coming out of his arm.

He dodged the charging Phenex and chopped off his arm in the proces.

Riser turned around in anger but stopped when he saw that his arm was not growing back.

"W-what did you do!?"

He looked at the black substance on what was left of his arm, it was slowly consuming him.

"That's Void power, it eats away at living things, it doesn't care who you are"

The fool tried to use fire to burn it away but it did not work.

"Fire will not save you, it will continue to consume you until nothing is left"

"I-I yield!"

"Riser Phenex, Retired"

The world began to fade away into blue dust, he found himself back in the real clubroom. Soon also finding himself not alone.

"You did it" Rias said as she walked up to him.

"You say that like you're surprised"

"I have some questions for you though" she eyed the sword that was still in his hand.

"Oh, right. There was something I didn't tell you when you turned me"

He walked over and fell back onto the couch. Rias walked over and sat on his lap.

"And what would that be?"

"I have a sacred gear"

"Which one?"

"Uh….you aren't going to freak out?"

"I knew there was something else about you besides being a vampire"

"Well the one that I have is a very powerful and very dangerous one" he paused and sheathed his sword.

"It is called Void Gear, it has the ancient black dragon of the Void, Athatm sealed inside"

"I have never heard of him"

"Well, imagine a large black dragon sitting in a cave. Then imagine that dragon being Emo"

[Oi!]

Rias began to laugh at the image in her head.

"He is too strong for me to unlock him fully, I only recently got access to some of his lesser abilities.

"Senpai"

Markus turned to see Koneko had just entered the room, and she did not look happy about her 'seat' being taken.

"Buchou, Lord Lucifer is on the line, he wants to speak to you" Akeno spoke after coming out from nowhere.

"My brother?" Rias asked after standing up and walking over.

She followed Akeno into a room, leaving the two Rooks to themselves.

Markus was about to stand up as well, that was until Koneko had other ideas. She pushed him back down and climbed on top of him.

He was now laying on his back with Koneko resting on top of him.

"Koneko?"

"Nya~"
