The ship approached the desert looking planet and began its orbit. The Princes and their wives assembled for a meal together before going down to the planet. The males segregated themselves by being on one side of the table away from the females on the other side. Lex noticed that some of the males were not as fit as the Prince. The oldest Antiman looked older and fatter than the rest of his brothers.

"You are not your mate's first wife. What is your specialty?" Calfuray asked.

"I am a climber," Lex said lamely.

The wives nodded. "That could be useful for this kind of surface," Maiara said.

Lex wondered about that. She didn't know anything about this planet. "Well, let us get this over with," Antiman said standing up. The rest stood up with him. "Your gear and weapons are ready," the Prince said.

Antiman nodded. "Go with Ukaleq. She is the only one among them that knows anything about hunting," the Prince told Lex.

Lex followed the wives to the armory. The armor was a polished black covering the entire body. Lex saw a number of new weapons. Ukaleq connected tanks to her armor; the tanks were connected by a tube towards a gun of sort. Lex placed the blades on her wrists as usual gaining the attention of Ukaleq.

"If you are that close to the prey you will be dead," she said.

"Why do you say that?" Lex asked curiously.

"You were not told what creature we would be hunting? You will see," Ukaleq said amused. She picked out a set of glider wings. "The atmosphere will allow you to literally float in the air with these," Ukaleq told Lex.

Lex saw that the others were putting their wings on too. She nodded and strapped them to her back. The females worked together to place plasma cannons on their shoulders and projectile discs to magnetically attach to their armor.

Leaving the armory, the females joined the males at the docking bay. All twenty of them entered the transport ship and quickly descended towards the planet. "The atmosphere is rich in hydrogen and oxygen. You will be able to breathe without your mask but there is a danger of hydrogen narcosis," the Prince warned them.

Lex knew what that meant from using supporting ventilators for hiking and scuba diving. Hydrogen narcosis could cause hallucinations, confusion, and disorientation. There wouldn't be significant danger unless they were in a pressurized environment. A hydrogen rich atmosphere would also be dangerous when it came to her plasma weapons. The transport landed and then opened revealing the dry surface. Her suit adapted to the rise in temperature keeping her cool.

The twenty exited the transport and looked around at the dead looking world. Lex noticed the smaller gravity making her gear feel lighter. A map of the terrain displayed on Lex's mask. With her entire body covered, she felt like an astronaut.

"Follow me," the Prince said to Lex.

The two member teams went their separate ways on the planet. The Prince led her to higher ground on top of a rocky hill. "What can live here?" Lex wondered.

The Prince scanned the area and then locked onto something in the distance. "There," he pointed out.

Lex scanned that area and then used enhanced vision to see the creature. The familiar shape was easy to recognize. It looked like a serpent with its long tail, torso, and neck. Its claws were small in proportion to its body but powerful none-the-less. Its head resembled a large reptile but the most striking feature were the wings.

"Impossible," Lex gasped.

"We introduced them to Earth over two thousand years ago, but they could not survive in that atmosphere. Humans who saw them recorded their features and then created legends about them throughout the globe," the Prince explained.

"So, what is myth and what is truth?" Lex asked.

"The fire doesn't originate from their guts. The creature grinds rocks to aid in digestion like your birds. Some of those rocks have platinum, which is a common element here. When exposed to hydrogen it can ignite. The creature vomits the platinum at high velocity, and it then ignites with the hydrogen and stomach acid," the Prince said.

"A real life dragon," Lex realized. "

The Prince then submitted data files on the different species of dragons. "Consider me surprised," Lex said as she started reading the scripts.

"Let us proceed," the Prince said extending his wings.

Lex wasn't certain with the air and the drop was far. The Prince pushed her off the ledge forcing her to activate the wings. She quickly flew up and glided in the air. Using her arms Lex flapped forward like a bird's first flight. The Prince followed Lex as she descended close to the ground at high speed. Lex then spiraled back up into the air thoroughly enjoying herself.

Lex felt a rush as she was able to use her own arms to keep her flying. This wasn't a chaotic rocket pack or an airplane. She was flying herself using her own body. In the distance, she saw several explosions at once. Then the air lit up in a brilliant explosion. Lex's eyes were protected by the intense glare. Once the explosion settled they could see two Yautja chasing after a dragon.

"Let us just watch," the Prince suggested.

The two dropped down onto a mountain and watched. The dragon sped up trying to avoid the Yautja team. Their rockets were exploding in the air before reaching their target. The dragon then retaliated by turning around. It blew towards the two Yautja and a few seconds later the air itself ignited. The Yautja were hit with a full blast of fire. The Prince watched as the two Yautja flew through the fire. The smaller one flew right into the dragon's mouth and disappeared. Lex watched closely as the dragon exploded from the inside splitting the dragon in half. The male Yautja took a large blade and swiped off the dragon's head. The female glowed red for a moment and then worked with her husband to collect the dragon's head.

"Nahuel's wife Nina is an expert in fire as a hunting tool. Of my brothers, Nahuel is our best hunter," the Prince said.

Lex then turned to another two in the distance. Ukaleq quickly flew through the air as the dragon raced after her. The two flew through a giant canyon with the dragon sending bursts of fire towards Ukaleq. Lex felt like helping her but the Prince held her back. The two moved through the canyon narrowly avoiding close spaces. Ukaleq unleashed flares to distract the dragon, but it was not enough. Ukaleq flew out of the canyon and landed on the ground. The dragon landed close to her but was suddenly punched hard to the snout by a large Yautja warrior. The dragon fell off the cliff and crashed on the ground below. Ujarak blasted the canyon walls sending rock on top of the dragon. One of the plasma bursts exploded near Ujarak's shoulder sending him to the ground. With the dragon crushed the two went down into the canyon.

"Shall we proceed," the Prince said to Lex.

The two took flight towards an area where the other royals were not. "Have you killed these things before?" Lex asked.

"Of course, but it was years ago," he said.

"They don't seem too hard to kill. They're big and slow," Lex noted.

"Oh?" the Prince replied.

Lex could then see five small black objects approaching them. "Break formation," the Prince ordered.

The two swerved away from each other. The black objects flew past them like a bullet and then turned for a coordinated attack. Lex faced the objects and targeted them with her plasma cannon. Firing rapidly she blasted three of them with plasma blasts. The dragons exploded in the air sending bone, guts, and blood to the ground. Suddenly Lex felt an explosion as her plasma cannon ignited the atmosphere. There was an air sucking sound as the explosions made her look like a bright star. Two other dragons grabbed a hold of her armor and flew her towards the ground.

Lex fought the man size creatures with her blades as she spiraled towards the ground. She hit the ground with a thud with the two dragons circling her. She closed her wings and got into a fighting stance. The black dragon blasted her with bursts of fire. Lex was slammed into a mountain formation by the force of the super-heated air. She let loose blades at the dragons that deflected off their hides. Suddenly a spear went through the head of one of the dragons killing it immediately. The other dragon screeched as it looked around for the attacker. Two blades suddenly punctured its eyes. The dragon thrashed about blasting everything with fire. Lex quickly got out of the way as the flames roared around her. The Prince landed on top of the dragon and sliced through its brain stem.

Lex caught her breath as the threat disappeared. The Prince cleaned off his blade and walked over to her. "Too small."

"I'm fine," Lex replied.

The Prince ignored her and looked up at the sky. Close by was a Yautja couple working to take down a larger dragon. This dragon was spitting acid at them. The Princess flew circles around the dragon with a long chain. The chain tightened pinning the dragon's limbs to its belly. The male Yautja then threw a large shuriken blade that slit the dragon's throat. The male Yautja then took hold of the chain and swung the dragon around in a circle before letting it go. The dragon slammed into a mountain knocking it out.

In the distance, Lex could see Antiman with his wife. He was resting on a throne next to a large cannon looking object. The cannon suddenly fired hitting a dragon with a net. The net wrapped around the dragon. The dragon's wings were pinned to its sides, and it crashed at his feet. Antiman then lazily walked up to the dragon and sent a spear into the dragon's chest killing it. The Prince folded his arms unimpressed.

"What's next?" Lex asked.

"We go there," the Prince said of a high mountain.

"A good climb," Lex observed.

"We will be going inside the structure. The dragon's eggs are in there," the Prince said.

"That sounds dangerous."

"It is."

The Prince took off with his wings towards the mountain with Lex following. The two flew gracefully towards the mountain and then landed at the base. As they came closer there were a number of entrances. The Prince took two half spheres from his sides and put them together. The complete sphere became active and flew inside the structure.

Back at the ship, the probe's readings created a hologram map of the structure. The ship's officers analyzed the structure as the probe continued inside. The Prince saw a hologram readout of the structure in his mask. As the probe continued to go up and down the levels of the mountain, the Prince motioned to go inside.
