Chapter 29
Beach
They lay like that for a while, Alex wrapped up in Olivia's strong grasp, her hands relaxing on the blonde's hip and stomach. Olivia could feel the rough burn in her shoulder as she rolled back on the bed and tried to relax and regulate her pain. She felt Alex roll over and lean onto her chest. Quickly she lifted her head back up, a look of shock on her face.
"Oh no I'm sorry sweetie." She delicately traced over the fresh scars on Olivia's collarbone and shoulder. "Are you ok?" The worry was apparent on her face and that made Olivia smile a little through a wincing face. Her voice strained as she began speaking.
"Yeah, babe. I'm fine. Don't worry about it." A mischievous smile crept over Alex's face as she leaned down to rest her head above Olivia's breast.
"Looks like you didn't have any trouble gripping…" Alex's voice trailed off in a laugh as she as Olivia peered down to her hips. Lingering there were small, finger-size red marks, still remaining from Olivia's desperate grip on the attorney's hips as she entered her repeatedly from behind.
"Oh my god Alex I'm sorry. I didn't…" Alex quashed her apology with a quick kiss, her lips separating a bit as she smiled. Olivia sat up and traced her fingers over the red marks, kissing them lightly with her swollen lips as she felt Alex's hand tangle in her hair. She straightened up and sat on the bed, looking across at her naked lover. Quickly, they both got cold and snaked under the covers, Alex leaning on the headboard and Olivia sitting across from her, massaging Alex's feet under the covers.
"I just think it's kind of…" Alex searched for the correct word, "curious, that David was just asking this morning about gripping…and pushing…and pulling." Alex busted out in laughter as Olivia blushed and laughed softly, agreeing with her. She wanted to change the subject, being a little embarrassed about her inability to control her rough instincts.
"You know, Alexandra…" the way Olivia said her name made her immediately nervous. Olivia still held her foot in her hand, gently massaging her heel. "If someone would have told me that you'd gotten a tattoo in WITSEC, I would have bet my life savings that they were lying." Alex rested her head back and smiled as Olivia continued. "I thought I had noticed everything new about you, counselor."
"Ha! What does that mean?"
"Oh, nothing. You're just so beautiful—when you came back to SVU, I knew I had to stay away from you because I wouldn't be able to stop looking at you. Who would've known you had turned into a badass and gotten a tattoo while you were gone?"
"Oh, common Benson…you've never thought about it?"
"Well, I'm not crazy about needles, but yeah, I have thought about it. But, there wasn't ever anything in my life permanent enough to put it on my body. I mean, there are things I care about, but I've just never gotten one…After all, if I ever want to see a bunch of tattoos, I can just look at Elliot." This admission made Alex's heart break a little. She knew that Olivia hadn't had a picture perfect life, and hearing her admit it just made it sting a little more.
"Very true, detective. But, to answer your previous question…" She took a deep breath and continued, recounting a story from WITSEC. "Sometimes, it was just so hard to look in the mirror and be Emily, that I, Alex Cabot, just wanted to feel something real. Besides, I wear heels all the time and all of my other shoes cover it too." As she finished saying this, Olivia turned her foot in her hand and looked closely at the inside of her heel, picking it up to her mouth and lightly kissing it.
"So…lady justice, huh?" The tattoo was small, unassuming. Olivia guessed it to be probably all of an inch in length and a half an inch in width, but it was elaborate in detail. Done in navy blue ink, it depicted a blindfolded woman holding the all-too-familiar scales.
"Yeah. It's a good reminder for me. You, of all people, know that sometimes I have a little trouble reconciling my personal feelings with those of justice. It's hard to prosecute someone who you don't think is guilty, or who you don't think is responsible for the crime." She began to feel like she was going of on a tangent so she abruptly stopped, looking at Olivia.
"I get it, babe. I know." Olivia nodded her head and rubbed Alex's foot, dropping her head to focus on her work.
Soon after, Alex crawled down to the end of the bed where Olivia was relaxing. She leaned into her lover, resting between her legs and laying the back of her head on Olivia's chest. "So, I was thinking…do you like the beach?" She felt Olivia laugh lightly and listened for her response.
"Yeah, I love the beach."
"I thought as much. Whattaya say? You wanna go out there?" Alex nodded her head towards the open bay window, her hair blowing a little with the ocean breeze. "It's a beautiful day, and it's only 3. I made a reservation at a little place in town for 8:00. I've got a small, private stretch of beach that came with the house so there really shouldn't be anyone out there."
Olivia laughed at her last statement. "Of course you have your own private beach." Alex's face turned upward into a smile.
"You calling me a snob, detective? And, before you answer that, just remember that having your own private beach means you can do whatever you want on it."
Olivia's eyes widened in understanding as she quickly replied. "Oh, no. Snob? No way, counselor." The detective smiled and winked that sexy wink that drove Alex crazy.
Alex got off the bed and dug through her drawers looking for her bathing suit when she realized that they hadn't stopped and gotten Olivia one. She raised her hand and smacked herself lightly on the forehead as she spoke. "Oh Olivia, honey, I'm sorry. We forgot to stop and get you a bathing suit." Olivia had shifted and laid on the bed flat on her stomach, her good arm beneath her head. She lifted her head and smiled at Alex's naked form standing just feet away when a thought donned on Alex. "But, that's ok. I have a few here. I'm sure you can wear one baby."
"Yeah right Alex! You are so much smaller than me."
"No, I'm really not. But, even if I am, it'll just make your body look so much better." She laughed as she put on her green bikini and tossed a bright red one at Olivia. "Oh yeah, that'll look great."
Olivia half-smiled, and half grimaced as she stepped into the bottoms, pulling them up her legs and settling them low on her hips. She turned and handed the top to Alex who pulled the strings and tied them at the base of her neck and around her back. Olivia didn't turn around, and crossed her arms in front of her chest.
"Common Liv, I know it doesn't look bad. Just turn around." Olivia did as she asked but didn't straighten her arms.
Alex tried her hardest to keep her voice level. The mere sight of Olivia in a red bikini was enough to stop Alex dead in her tracks. "Baby you look…wow. But, if you uncross your arms I'll be able to see if I need to get you another top."
"Alex, would it really matter? You telling me you have a bigger top around here somewhere? Who else have you had up here counselor? Because I know your boobs aren't any bigger than this." She lowered her gaze to Alex as she asked this question.
"Oh Liv. Don't get your panties all in a bunch. I haven't had anyone up here…well, except my dad and Bill and Julie. So if you think my dad, aunt, and uncle are worthy of your suspicion, detective, we have other problems to sort out."

Ten minutes later they were walking hand-in-hand to the beach, Olivia carried a towel and Alex was wrapped in a royal blue cover-up. Olivia watched Alex as she walked: she could barely believe that the beautiful blonde wanted to be with her. She was overwhelmingly gorgeous, so much so that sometimes it physically hurt Olivia when she looked at her for too long. She was too perfect, especially now. Olivia knew that green bikini was lingering under the blue knee length cover, and she could barely take her eyes off of Alex's slender body. She sported the same large Chanel frames under a white wide brimmed hat to protect her fair skin from the sun. Sometimes, Olivia wondered how she had gotten so lucky.
Before she realized it, Alex stopped and set down the small bag she brought out with them. Olivia looked down the stretch of beach and saw two relaxed chairs, a hammock, and four reclined beach loungers around a fire pit. "Well, where do you want to sit?" Alex left the decision up to Olivia who smiled a bit before she answered.
"Well, counselor, that question is a little loaded." They both laughed before Olivia continued, "but, I'm going to assume that you mean here, now at the beach. And we can just sit right here babe. You should probably be under this umbrella anyway, huh?" She grazed the back of her fingers over Alex's arm, smiling at the attorney.
Alex watched in awe as Olivia was able to push the large umbrella up and out, extending the arms all the way to block the sun from Alex's fair skin. She smiled and winked that goddamn wink, and Alex just couldn't deal.
"God, Olivia. You are so sexy. Sometimes…I just can't handle it." She traced her hand down Olivia's neck, between her breasts, and rested it on her taut abs.
"Whoa. Cool off there, counselor…" she smiled at Alex and reached down in the bag, grabbing the trusty sunscreen that the blonde carried on vacation. "Let me put this on you."
"Gladly." Alex removed her hat and sunglasses and placed them on the chair before pulling her top over her head, revealing the slinky green bathing suit that hung on her small, curved body. Olivia's breath hitched in her throat—even after all this time of seeing Alex in her fantasies, sometimes the reality of her was even better.
The feeling of Olivia's hands on her body drove Alex wild. It was the tamest touch, but set her body ablaze. She couldn't help but to lean into her hands, arching her back when Olivia touched her shoulders, gleefully displaying her legs when the detective was done with her back. Olivia bent down on one knee, taking the slender, toned leg into her hand, smearing the lotion up her calves and around to the front of her thighs. Olivia's hands lingered near her the bottom of her bikini, smiling up at the attorney. The brunette stood up and poured some more sunscreen in her palms, rubbing them together and taking them to Alex's midsection. Olivia had never noticed how tight her abs were, but now, as she was rubbing them, she couldn't help but to feel the slight muscles lingering. As she traced higher, she rubbed some lotion on her neck and down to her small, perky breasts. Olivia was concentrating on the task at hand when she felt Alex reach up and cup her face, bringing her into a passionate kiss.
"There'll be enough time for that later, sweetheart." Olivia moved away from Alex with a quick smile and moved the towel close to her chair, but out of the shade of the umbrella.
"Sweetheart, huh?" Alex laughed.
"Oh. Sorry. Is that not ok?"
"It's very sweet baby. I like it…but, you better not call me that in the bedroom." Alex smiled down at Olivia whose mouth was open in shock. "Anyways, don't you need some sunscreen?"
Olivia thought for a minute before returning her response. "No, I don't think so. I tan pretty easily. But, I haven't been to the beach in about…oh, 12 years, so we will find out."
Ten minutes later they were both settled in their respective places: Alex resumed her position on the chair, crossing her legs and switching between the latest issue of ELLE, and the New York Times. Olivia was laying flat on her stomach, supporting her weight on her elbows while "East of Eden" lay under her gaze. Quickly, her shoulder began to ache, so she put her arms down by her side and rested the side of her face on her book, watching the small waves crash onto the beach.
000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000
Olivia awoke to the sound of a seagull squawking somewhere near by. She lifted her head and looked to Alex, who was still intently reading the opinion section of the Times, scoffing at some small-time journalist trying to make it big. "I'm sorry baby—how long have I been out?"
Alex folded the paper and looked down on her beautifully bronzed girlfriend. "It's ok Liv. It's only been about an hour or so. No worries babe!"
Olivia smiled and had a thought. She got up from the towel and began to stretch a bit, pulling her arms up over her head, and making circles with her hands. Quickly, Alex saw the rigorous calisthenics in front of her and gave Olivia a questioning look. Before she got an answer, however, Olivia was heading to the surf, walking slowly but determinedly. She was going to swim.
Alex was a little worried and called out for Olivia. "Liv! Should you be doing that?"
Olivia waded into the water and turned around when it reached her waist, yelling back at the blonde. "I'm fine!" She turned and sank into the water, completely submerging herself before she stood up and wiped her hair back, brushing her hands through her hair as she looked at Alex. "You coming in?" She yelled a bit and put her hands on her hips, awaiting an answer.
Slowly, Alex got up from her chair, tortuously removing her cover-up and bending over to place her hat and sunglasses on her now empty chair. She tried to keep her cool and walked towards the surf, keeping her eyes on Olivia the entire trip. When she felt the cool water hit her feet, however, she backed up a bit.
"Oh no no no. You're getting in." Olivia smiled and walked out of the water, quickly wrapping her arms around Alex's waist. The attorney fell limp in her arms as the vision of the bronzed goddess before her swam in her brain. She was quickly reminded of that Bo Derek movie, "10," where she was running on the beach. That woman had nothing on Olivia: Alex took in the sight of the strong detective's wet body in the one-size-too-small bikini and could barely breathe. She subconsciously felt the cool water inching up on her body as Olivia pulled her deeper into the water, but she found that her main focus, rather, was her girlfriend's lips.
Olivia pulled Alex close to her as the blonde wrapped her legs around the detective's waist and draped her arms around Olivia's neck. She looked from her brown eyes to her full, pink lips and ran her hands through her hair. Olivia slowly let her head fall back into Alex's touch as she chuckled a bit from Alex's advances. "I thought the water might cool you off…Seems like it might be having the opposite effect." And, before Olivia could say another word, her lips were attached to Alex's, the attorney pulling her head closer as she kept her fingers in Olivia's hair. Soon, their tongues were wrestling for dominance and Alex could feel Olivia's hands under her bottoms, cupping her ass in both her hands. The strong detective pressed their bodies together under the water and Alex moaned into her mouth.
Olivia felt Alex gyrating her core against her, and she couldn't help but to feel the attorney's bare ass clench in her hands. Alex moved her attention from Olivia's mouth to her neck, lightly sucking and biting at the golden flesh. She felt herself in rhythmic motion against Olivia, awaiting her touch. With just a look, Olivia submitted to her wish, slipping one hand between them and feeling a warm, thick liquid coat her fingers that she delicately drug through Alex's folds.
"Fuck Liv," Alex moaned into her ear, wrapping her arms around Olivia's neck and shoulders for support. Olivia swirled her fingers in the attorney's wet center for a few minutes before she heard a plea from Alex. "Please, baby. I want to feel you inside me." It drove Olivia wild, and soon she slipped two fingers inside the eager attorney, allowing Alex to continue her motion with a little friction helping this time. It was unlike anything Olivia had seen before—Alex was uninhibited while Olivia was finger fucking her in the ocean. She moaned loudly each time Olivia entered her and grew louder as her body came closer to her climax, eventually yelling her name and clenching her nails into Olivia's back, whimpering when the detective removed her fingers from the attorney's hot center.
Olivia's mouth hung open in awe. "You ok, detective?" All Olivia could do was nod. She wasn't able she could even continue to stand, as she was sure all of her energy and resilience had rushed to her core—she thought she had probably come just watching Alex, but couldn't be sure: she wasn't sure of anything at the moment, besides the fact that Alex Cabot was the fucking sexiest thing she had ever seen.
"Well, if you are ok, as you say, what do you say we go inside…" Alex smiled and placed her hands back around the detective's neck and placed light kisses around her face as she spoke, "get a shower, and get dressed for our little date tonight?"
Olivia nodded and found her words with a simple reply: "sounds good."
They packed up their towels and belongings and walked back towards the house. When they arrived, Alex quickly started the shower as Olivia stripped out of the tight red bikini, walking directly into the shower, waiting for Alex to follow. When Olivia tried to put the moved on Alex in the shower the attorney smiled a mischievous smile as she turned around, avoiding her kiss.
"Well, detective, if you can wait until after dinner…" she traced her finger down Olivia's stomach, "I plan to treat you to a night you'll never forget." Olivia's eyes widened in a questioning look. "After what you just did to me in the water…I think I owe you."
Olivia knew her mouth was hanging open as Alex exited the shower, having already tended to her skin and hair. Her shocked look slowly turned into a smile as her imagination ran wild. She knew this dinner would be hard to sit through.
