Three day's have past, I haven't been allowed out the den in that time. Raven often calls to me but I can't answer her. Guards are posted out the den when I approach the entrance. "Hey, let me out for some new bedding. The one in here hasn't been changed in Starclan knows when." I say.

The two don't even acknowledge me, don't even turn to look at me. "Ahh...fox-dung, some why to treat your prisoners. Thunderclan was better than this." I snarl.

Flopping on the bare floor, my ears lay back in anger. After a bit, a commotion sounds outside. A ragged brown tom pads in, eyes yellow as the sun. Getting up, the tom sits down. "I am Hawkeye, Brother to Sorenspirit. I'm the Medicine Cat. I overheard you wanted out and I have some herbs to restock. So, want to stay in here or come out and help me. Get some bedding while we're out." Hawkeye says.

I look at hem, than decide to take the offer. Hawkeye turns and I follow hem. We walk past the guards, going out into the clearing and I turn my head down as the sun blinds me. Blinking, I don't see it coming as Raven jumps on my back.

Falling over, Raven is all over me, nuzzling my cheek and all. Happily nuzzling back, i look as Sorenspirit walks up. "My brother has talked me into letting you help hem. Do anything to mess it up and your going right back in the den." She says.

I dip my head, turning to join Hawkeye. "Dadd, can I come. Please." Raven says. I turn back, licking her head "No sweety, I'll be back, when I'm done, We'll play, is that okay." I tell her. Raven bounces in joy as I follow Hawkeye.

"Do you know the herbs." Hawkeye asks, heading left. "Some. Borage Leaves for nursing queens. Cobweb to stop bleeding. And a few more. One that a Medicine cat does not give is Deathbarries. One can kill a kit, three a full grown." I say.

Hawkeye nods "We have one you may not have thought of. It's called Saza.(Say-za.) It grows in the river at the stepping stones. I've been checking but none has been there." He says sadly.

'Seems its really important.' I think as we turn to the river. "What's it used for." I ask. His face lights up "Saza is used when catmint isn't available. The leaves can alos be used in the place of Marigold and the vine to hold piles of leaves and berries together." Hawkeye says as we near the river.

The rushing water reminds me of Thunderclan, a ping of hurt tugs my heart. "You miss home, as do all exiled. But as Spiritclan says, The past is the past and the future is the future. It means never hold onto the past for it will always hold you back. Let go and look towards the future and what you can do with it." Hawkeye said, walking out onto the rocks.

I join hem, he sticks his head in at the boulder and pulls it out. He's smiling "There's ten vines worth. Enough for us and Hawkclan. We'll gather them and I'll give Frostbite five when I see her at Half-moon." Hawkeye says, diving in.

I join hem, diving and we dig the vines up and roll them. As we get out, a howl sounds from the otherside. A pretty white with blue dusting she-cat is on the other side. Hawkeye smiles "Oh Frostbite, how's things in Hawkclan." Hawkeye asks.

Frostbite pads down "Everything is good, oh, it that Saza." Frostbite asks. I pick the five I had rolled up and pad to her. Setting them down "For you, Frostbite. I'm Tigerclaw, a rogue staying in Wolfclan, but please, keep this to us." I ask. Frostbite nods, rolling the Staza up. "May Spiritclan guild you." "May Starclan go with you." I bow my head.

Frostbite picks the Saza up and walks off into her territory. Hawkeye smiles when I turn back. "She's really easy to get along with." Hawkeye says as we head back. Padding through the barrier, Raven runs up to meet us, jumping around us.

Putting the vines in Hawkeye's den, he nods in thanks. I go out, Raven throws a mossball at me. I hit it back, we go around the camp, the clanmates watching as we play. A few other kits join us, than all gang on me, tackling me to the grass.

Raven wiggles to my chin, nuzzling me. "I love you, Daddy." She says. I pull her close, all waiting to hear my response. "I love you, my little birdie." I touch our foreheads. Shaking the kits off, I play with them till their mother's call.

It close to Sundown, I head for the den. A paw swripes my tail, Snowflair behind me. "Come, we made a nest in the warrior's den. You've earned your place." He says.

Going into the den, a sun colored she-cat waves her tail at the bedding beside her. Curling in it, she sits up. "I'm Solarstorm, I'm a three year warrior." She lays back down. Laying my head down, I close my eyes.
