Lex was given free rein to organize hunts on Earth. The Prince didn't expect Lex to immediately have a list of locations and targets. The Yautja warriors were happy to oblige her hunting down sex slave rings in Thailand, the Yakuza gangs in Japan, terrorists in Yemen, genocidal squads in Sudan, and Marxist rebels in South America. Women that would otherwise be forced to be sex slaves were brought back to Yautja Prime to increase the human colony numbers. One male could impregnate an unlimited number of females but one female would only be able to reproduce one child roughly each year.

Lex masked her intentions with the fact that these Yautja warriors killed their prey in brutal fashion. They then proceeded to send the skulls of their best kills to their patron. Lex also decided to be more cooperative with Prince showing up to a number of social events his other wives had no interest in. One such event were the gladiator games.

The Prince took Lex to a large stadium in the capital of Yautja Prime. The stadium was of similar size to what Lex had seen on Earth but the video screens and audio equipment were superior. The ground floor where the Yautja fought each other was capable of changing dramatically. The initially flat ground of sand would morph to form hills, ditches, cliffs, rivers, lakes, and other terrain changes. The fighters would have to continually adapt to the new environment under their feet. Additionally, large alien beasts would occasionally enter the arena.

"These fighters are criminals who deserve death for their crimes. These games provide a deterrent as well as fulfill justice," the Prince said.

"What point is there in rehabilitating criminals if you can simply have them kill each other for entertainment?" Lex asked.

"There will always be criminals. Rehabilitation is unnecessary. Our females can produce sons at adequate replacement level," the Prince said.

"It just seems a little cruel," Lex commented.

"What is cruel is locking a creature in a small cell for fifty cycles until they die of natural causes. That is a waste of resources and completely pointless. When a Yautja is convicted of a lesser crime he is beaten and fined and then let go so that he may be a productive member of society. If he wishes to reclaim his honor he may go on a hunt and win that honor back with acts of bravery and courage," the Prince explained.

"What if they're innocent?" Lex countered.

"Impossible with our memory scanners," the Prince said.

"You've found a way to get around them. Others might too," Lex pointed out.

"I don't know what you're talking about," the Prince replied.

The two criminal gladiators took up small bladed weapons and began to attack each other. If they didn't kill each other within the time frame both would be killed by Yautja law enforcement guards giving them both a strong incentive. Lex watched bored as the two Yautja sliced into each other in a brawl. Finally, the loser had a blade slice through his lungs and guts. The loser fell to the ground spraying green blood on the ground. The Yautja crowd was a mixture of elation and excited discomfort as the loser shook a little before he died. Lex felt nothing and the Prince noticed it.

"Tell me why this doesn't bother you at all," the Prince requested.

"The green blood looks like slime. I have been taught my whole life that red blood was vital. Every time I had a cut red blood was associated with injury and pain. When I see red blood everywhere and guts it sickens me. When I see a Yautja bleed it reminds me of plant juice," Lex said.

"An interesting perspective. When I see red blood I feel the same way as you feel about green blood," the Prince said and then motioned for a servant to get him a drink.

Soon thereafter, the Prince was given a glass filled with a red liquid that appeared to be human blood. The Prince smelled it and then drank it down. "An exotic fruit juice from an alien world. Do you want to try it?" the Prince asked.

"I have already ordered my drink," Lex said handing a data pad to a passing servant.

The Prince waited and saw the servant bring her a glowing green liquid. "There is a human custom that we touch each other's glasses as a sign of friendship," Lex said taking her glass.

"I know it," the Prince said amused.

The two clinked their glasses as a new game started. Lex watched as a Yautja warrior lost his head in a brutal swipe. Green blood poured out of the body and yet Lex still felt nothing.

The eight oldest brothers including the Crown Prince Citali sat down for a meeting to discuss the Yautja/human hybrid that had just been born. The Princes gathered together in a council to pass resolutions, which would then be turned into recommendations for the King. The King could ignore the recommendation if he pleased but the recommendations were politically significant. The King knew the Crown Prince would succeed him, so the King had an incentive to listen to his sons. The Princes were also delegated large amounts of lands and industrial departments since the King could not be expected to monitor them all.

The ninth son 1 vote, the eighth son 3 votes, the seventh son 6 votes, the six son 9 votes, the fifth son 12 votes, the fourth son 15 votes, the third son 18 votes, the second son 21 votes, and the Crown Prince 25 votes to make a complete 110. It would therefore require at least three brothers to agree on a resolution. The tenth son was the Prince, but he was not invited to the meeting due to the meeting's content and the relative closeness to the former Crown Prince's death.

The brothers would feast and drink. They would discuss all manner of subjects with each other. Some brothers got along with each other better than others. The top five brothers preferred to socialize apart from the other four. Shikoba was previously the sixth brother, now fifth and was now part of the inner circle for the first time.

Finally, Citali called the council to order. "I propose that our tenth brother in the line of succession be invited to our next meeting," he said casually. "Is anyone opposed?"

There was silence. "It is unanimous that our tenth brother will be invited to sit with us at the next available meeting," Citali said.

"It would have been better if he had been here," Ujarak, the seventh brother said.

"It is difficult to be objective when discussing the nature of one's child," Citali said. "I also did not want to entertain a duel to the death to preserve one's honor."

"We all know about his abilities. He is smaller but his speed and precision is unmatched. He is not to be underestimated," Nahuel, the third brother said.

"The facts of the case is that our brother married a human female turned Yautja due to a genetic experiment that was forbidden. This human female as a Yautja had fought and killed other Yautja warriors. She was acquitted of murder due to her ignorance of Yautja customs and codes. This Alexa of Woods is not to be trusted. She would betray the King and us all," Citali said.

"She seemed pleasant," Maquinna said, the second brother.

"I do not see it as a coincidence that the Crown Prince was killed during the same hunting expedition this Yautja killer human was involved," Citali said.

"There is no evidence linking her to the attack. It was not wise for all of us to be together on an alien world," Quidel, the fourth brother said.

"A child was conceived and born of this Alexa of Woods. The Yautja/human hybrid appears human except her skin. She lacks our cranium and mandibles. This experiment has produced a weak child of mind and body," Citali continued.

"Yautja hybrids of any kind are an abomination," Wapasha said, the eighth brother.

"That is religious superstition," Maquinna argued. "A hybrid is dangerous when it proves itself to be as when there was a Xenomorph/Yautja hybrid on Earth."

"This meeting will be a waste of time if the child dies within the week due to its inability to breathe," Shikoba noted.

"All indications are that the child will survive," Tiriaq, the sixth brother said.

"The child is female. She is of no threat," Nahuel said dismissively.

"I will remind this council that Alexa of Woods has been underestimated," Citali said.

"She will breed with a male Yautja and will die giving birth. She will be too small to give birth to a Yautja child. The weight and size will cause massive internal damage. We do not need to do anything. Allow nature to decide," Maquinna said.

"We have medical facilities to make every birth safe. We do not live in the dark times," Wapasha said.

"Then have her give birth on an alien planet where those facilities do not exist," Maquinna suggested.

"We should assume that our brother will make every precaution," Citali said.

"If the child were male this would be a different question. A male Yautja/human hybrid could potentially impregnate hundreds of Yautja females. I do not see this female as a threat," Nahuel said.

"Until this female gives birth to a son," Wapasha pointed out.

"We will all be dead by then. Have the next generation decide," Nahuel said lazily.

"I assume what is being proposed is that we kill the child. I oppose it. That is dishonorable," Ujarak said boldly.

"There are other alternatives. We could order Alexa of Woods and the hybrid be sterilized," Citali said.

"Sterilizing a female is like maiming a male. Conceiving and giving birth is their pride," Nahuel said.

"I want to be able to research the child's development. I want to be able to order tests on the child with or without our brother's consent," Maquinna said.

"You wish to experiment on the child? A commoner would kill you for that," Ujarak warned.

"I propose a resolution to sterilize Alexa of Woods and the child," Citali said. "Any oppose?"

"I oppose," Ujarak said.

"What is your vote?" Citali asked going from the eighth to himself.

Wapasha (3): Yes, Ujarak (6): No, Tiriaq (9): No, Shikoba (12): Yes, Quidel (15): Yes, Nahuel (18): No, Maquinna (21): No. Citali considered the tally before him: 30-54-1. If he voted yes he would have only won the vote because his younger brother who was the subject of discussion was not present. He knew the King loved his younger brother. He could win this resolution by one vote and then be humiliated by the King soon thereafter. He was also opposed by his 2nd and 3rd brothers who were no doubt scheming to replace him.

"The child could perish by disease or internally. I will wait to see what happens," Citali said abstaining. Citali then abruptly ended the meeting and left disappointed.
