'Thoughts'

(Ganondorf's P.O.V)

I woke to the sun shining in my room. I stood up and went to the bathroom to relieve myself. I then got ready for a long ride. I had a meeting with the blasted king the next morning so I needed to leave right away.

"Sire?" One of the handmaidens called.

"Yes?" I had just pulled on my pants when she knocked on the door.

"Breakfast has been served and your horse is ready."

"Good. Thank you."

"You're welcome sir. Do you require anything else?"

"No."

She nodded and left. I finished getting dressed. Once done I went to the dining hall for breakfast. I ate the food before going to the stable. I mounted Midnight and began moving towards Hyrule field. Hopefully the king would see our side.

Many people saw us Gerudo as thieves, robbers and murderers. We have only killed people in self defense. Many thought they could rape the woman and steal from us. I won't lie, we do steal but that is because we are forced to do so. The desert is a harsh place that doesn't provide that much food and necessities. When a traveler enters the desert they refuse to let us buy or trade with them. They don't even buy our products. Stealing helps us survive. That is the reason for me to see the king. I'm hoping he will remove our banishment and for an alliance. We wouldn't need to steal.

'Oh Goddesses I pray that this goes our way for once.' I prayed as I made my way through the desert. It was midday by the time I had made it out of the desert. I took a short break. Luckily there was a small lake near us. Midnight drank from it and grazed. I sat down close by and ate the lunch one of the cooks made.

"This is nice." I commented absently.

It was the first time I had been out of the desert. A long time ago the Gerudo were banished to the desert. The whole tribe had been punished due to the actions of one Gerudo woman. She had tried to assassinate the King's wife. She had been obsessed with the king. The queen had killed her and the rest of the Gerudo were banished.

At first they tried their best to live off what the desert provided but it was basically barren. When a traveler refused to trade with them then tried to rape one of the woman they killed him and turned to stealing.

When I became king a few weeks prior I reached out to Hyrule's king. It was our only hope to improve our tribe's conditions. When I received a response I was happy and reading the invitation to for a meeting made me ecstatic. I hoped it would go well.

Soon Midnight and I were on our way once more. Now that I was in the field I could see the castle and other places. I scowled when I saw them. The forest didn't bother me since I know the inhabitants are children with no idea of the outside world. It was the other places that angered me. They looked to be thriving while my tribe struggled.

'I hate them.' I thought.

By the time I made it through the gate it was almost nighttime. A guard went on ahead to inform the king of my arrival. When he returned the gate had closed. The guard glared at me before gesturing for me to follow. I was led to the castle and shown to a room for the night.
