The Prince's battleship approached Earth using its cloak to hide from Earth's satellites. However, British Intelligence using Weyland satellites detected the Yautja ship. This information was transmitted to all NATO members including the United States. The Prince was oblivious as Earth's satellites turned to get a better look at the hostile ship. Instead, he was busying infesting each of his crew one-by-one into Yeerk controllers.

The Prince took his time orbiting Earth as if studying where to strike first. The Prince was uncertain whether it would be better to target the impoverished or prosperous areas of the planet. His son studied the planet unaware of his father's true plan. A probe suddenly launched from Florida aimed towards the Yautja ship. The Prince paid little attention until the probe became too noticeable.

"Shall we fire on it, my Prince?" the Captain asked.

"No, that would alert the humans that we exist. Somehow it is sensing our location," the Visser realized. "Hack into the probe. I want to see its signal."

The Yautja ship evaded the probe easily and started hacking into its signals from Earth. The Yautja ship began downloading code from the probe at a rapid pace. The Americans quickly realized what was happening and shut down signal commands to the probe. "They have shut down the signal, my Prince," the Captain said.

"Move out of range of the probe," the Visser ordered.

A second smaller Yautja cruiser approached Earth and started scanning the area. Makawee commanded the cruiser with Lex on the bridge. "His ship will be cloaked," Makawee said to Lex.

The cruiser then noticed the Earth probe moving towards the Visser's ship. Makawee and Lex watched curiously as the probe swerved through space as if locking onto an unseen target. "Scan that sector," Makawee ordered.

The cruiser scanned the area where the probe was headed towards and noticed a small disturbance in space. "It's there," Makawee realized. "How can a human probe detect our ships even while cloaked," Makawee wondered.

The computers targeted an area of space where the ship was likely to be. "Fire on that sector," Makawee ordered.

Lex fired the cruiser's weapons sending missiles to that location. The Visser's ship attempted to evade the missiles, but the cruiser was firing continuously in the sector. The Yautja battleship was hit in sudden flashes of light before the cloak came back online.

"Damage report," the Visser ordered.

"Minimal damage to the hull. The shields absorbed most of the damage," the Captain reported.

The Visser inputted commands into his arm chair and then waited. The Yautja's cruisers cloak and shields instantly disappeared. "Target their ship and fire on my command," the Visser ordered.

On the Yautja cruiser, the crew became alarmed at their loss of cloak and shields. "How?" Lex wondered.

"The Prince knows Yautja commands to lower the cloak and shields of any of our vessels," Makawee explained. "Shut down the computer. We will have to work all commands manually," she ordered her crew.

The Visser saw the cruiser clearly and who it belonged too. "That's mother's ship?" Wayra realized shocked.

"Is First Princess Makawee on that ship?" the Visser asked the Captain.

"No, but I read that Seventh Princess Alexawoods is onboard," the Captain lied.

The Visser nodded. From the Captain's tone, he could tell that Makawee was indeed onboard the ship, but he didn't want Wayra to know it. "So, she stole one of my ships and is threatening my life once more. It is time to end this experiment of mine," the Visser clasped his hands together.

"You shall have the honor of destroying that ship," the Visser offered his son.

"Father, what of the crew and the ship itself?" Wayra asked.

"They betrayed me by allying with that human abomination. The ship can easily be replaced," the Visser told him.

Satisfied, Wayra pushed the button on his father's arm-chair and watched the missile approach the target. The Visser's mandibles twitched slightly as the missile continued towards its target.

"There can be no doubt now," Makawee realized as the missile headed their way. "Escape pods now!" she ordered.

The bridge-crew immediately moved their way to the escape pods and shot towards Earth. The majority of the crew would not make it in time and died in a powerful explosion. The cruiser erupted and was blasted apart. The Visser watched as several escape pods launched towards Earth. "No doubt she survived. She is difficult to kill," the Visser commented. "Fire on those pods," the Visser ordered.

The Yautja battleship fired on the pods with additional missiles hitting a few of them before they dropped into the atmosphere. "If she survived, she will have destroyed your cruiser," Wayra noted.

"This time she won't escape," the Visser promised.

Yautja Prime

With Citali and Maquinna exiled to the colonial planets, Nahuel was the second highest authority under the King on Yautja Prime. He was therefore made the Governor of the province that contained the capital. "Your brother is inviting you to strike Earth," a messenger told him.

"I wonder why he has changed his mind," Nahuel said as he read the data-pad.

"Shall we ready the fleet?" the messenger asked.

"No, if Earth is to be attacked it will be me that shall initiate it," Nahuel replied handing the data-pad back.

Five pods crash landed on Earth, the rest of the crew perished in the strike. Each pod contained gear necessary for living and hunting on Earth. Makawee placed her gear on and walked outside. Her mask was scratched from previous battles. Her pod then self-destructed leaving no evidence behind. Lex and the three others joined her to discuss what they were going to do.

Makawee worked on her wrist-band showing a red hologram of the Earth. The map zoomed in on Africa and then displayed their location. They were in the exact center of the continent on the Central African border with Sudan. Makawee then inputted additional commands before stopping. "I am locked out," she said.

"You hacked into the Prince's ship?" Lex asked amazed.

"He is not the only one that knows how our ships work," Makawee replied. "I gave the ship a command to send out a distress call. Other Yautja ships will arrive soon to investigate," Makawee added.

There was suddenly two red dots on Makawee, and one red dot on Lex. "If the Prince wants you dead, he must have his reasons. We are loyal to the Prince," one of them said turning their plasma cannons on them.

Green slits then appeared on each of their necks. The three of them immediately collapsed with their heads rolling off. Lex stared at Makawee shocked. In her hand was a bloody shuriken blade. She flicked it a few times and then closed it. "Get rid of the bodies," she ordered Lex giving her blue vials.

Lex did so pouring the blue liquid on the Yautja bodies while Makawee attempted to reach the ship once more.

"My Prince, our systems are being hacked. Someone on the surface is downloading files from us," the Captain reported.

"The human knows our systems?" Wayra wondered.

The Visser knew otherwise but said nothing. He knew Makawee was behind the hack. "Trace the source," the Visser ordered.

A hologram of Earth appeared on screen showing the coordinates of the source. "Lock her out of the system," the Visser ordered. "Fire on that coordinate."

The Yautja battleship powered up their weapons and fired a single beam shot at their location. "Bring us down to make certain she is dead," the Visser ordered.

Makawee and Lex watched as a streak of light hit the ground causing a massive explosion of dirt and rock. The two of them were a distance away from the explosion due to Makawee's order that they immediately run. "Their aim is pathetic," Makawee said unimpressed.

"What do you think we should do now?" Lex asked her.

"We will need food to survive here. So, we hunt," she said as if it were obvious.

The two of them scanned the grasslands in cloak looking for an animal to kill. Makawee was the first to see the Black Rhino grazing. She signaled to Lex her find. "We can't kill it. It is an endangered animal," Lex told her.

Makawee hesitated and then turned her target off the creature. "Thanks," Lex said to her.

"Killing an endangered animal would be unthinkable," Makawee said. "You seem surprised."

Lex felt guilty for humanity. She looked at the Black Rhino and saw a squad of humans getting close to it. They both identified their rifles. "If I don't stop them, they will kill the animal," Makawee said to Lex.

Lex said nothing. Makawee fired five rapid bursts from her plasma cannon. The bursts hit their targets killing all five humans. "Humans are not endangered but not fit for eating," Makawee commented.

Lex felt conflicted by what had just happened. Makawee and Lex walked over to the burned bodies. "These men have the same skin tone as your human body. They are your people?" Makawee asked.

"Not really. My people are from a different continent," Lex said.

"If I recall, your ancestors originally came from this continent before being transported to the other as slaves," Makawee said.

"I don't really know where my ancestors came from before they came to America," Lex said.

"You only know a few generations of your genealogy," Makawee said intrigued. "It is customary to know one's genealogy up to a few thousand years," Makawee said.

"Well, slaves didn't really have the freedom to establish such things," Lex said bitterly.

Makawee picked up one of the rifle's laying on the ground. Her mask analyzed the weapon's properties. She raised it to her mask and immediately it helped her line up the sights.

Makawee then saw something else move with her mask; it was a gazelle. "Can I kill it?" she asked.

"Yes, that kind is fine," Lex replied.

Makawee kept a firm grip on the rifle and fired the weapon. The gazelle fell to the ground dead. "Crude, but at least the meat will be preserved," Makawee said throwing the weapon away.

The Yautja battleship landed in Central Africa Republic. "Ground us," the Visser ordered. The Yautja ship fired blasting a hole into the ground large enough for the ship to enter. A hologram was then emitted covering the hole, so humans would not notice it was present. "I shall take my leave, father," Wayra said leaving the bridge.

As soon as he left, the Visser turned to his officers. "Begin construction of the pool."

"Visser, should we also infest the youth?" the Captain asked referring to Wayra.

"I would but this host body is resisting me as it is. I do not wish further compromise," the Visser replied.

Yautja Prime

A servant entered Nahuel's throne room to give him news of the Prince's distress call. "We have a distress call from Earth. Your brother's ship is not responding," the servant said.

"Why does that primitive civilization always give my brother trouble?" Nahuel sighed. "Ready the fleet. We may have to avenge my brother," Nahuel ordered.
