Hello everyone, I'm here with another new story. This is rated for reasons and please enjoy the first chapter and AU.

Two teenagers, a girl with blonde hair and a broken halo over her head and white feathers protruding from her back and a boy with brown hair, covered in scales and blackened wing protruding from his back, stood on opposite ends, glaring at each other with narrowed eyes, the girl holding a bow and arrow, ready to cock it and the boy growling, a small fire forming in his mouth before the two of them heard shouting in the distance, "I think that angel girl flew off in this direction!"

The girl's eyes widened as another voice shouted, "Who cares about a damn angel? We're looking for the dragon bastard! We want his wings and tail!" thinking quickly, the boy grabbed the girl by the wrist and began leading her away, ignoring her shouting at him.

The two entered a dark, cold cave before the boy looked around and spotted a pile of dry sticks. Inhaling deeply, he breathed out fire, igniting the pile of wood, lighting the cave up as shadows danced on the walls of the cave. The girl looked at the boy and narrowed her blue eyes, "Who are you? And a better question is what are you?"

The boy sighed as he crossed his arms and leaned back, "I'll give you my name and story if you give me yours first,"

The girl scoffed as she rolled her eyes, "Fine, my name is Star Butterfly. I'm an angel who has been exiled because I don't follow the rules of heaven. I live life carefree. I choose what I do with my life. I wasn't as bad as the Fallen Angel who was cast out of heaven and sent straight to hell and later became the Devil, but the Archangels didn't want to chance it, they didn't think sending me down will be a good idea, so instead they suggested I'd be exiled here to repent, but like I said, I live my life carefree. I don't take orders from anyone, regardless of their status," Star looked at the boy and narrowed her eyes, "So, you filthy creature, I gave you what you wanted, how about you return the favor?"

He sighed and shook his head, "Fair enough, my name is Marco Diaz, or at least that's what I've been going by for as long as I can remember. My father is a powerful, cursed dragon who only has one goal, to create an army to help him protect his treasures, my mother was unfortunately the first human he seduced while in disguise. When she saw that she had given birth to a boy with scales, a tail and wings, she went to my father and demanded an explanation and from what I've learned, that's when he revealed himself in his true form.

There was an argument and my father grabbed me and few off. He brought me to his lair but abandoned me when I was about six because my human side refuses to harm another human, regardless of what they've done to me. Realizing he will never have his army to help him, he tried to kill me, he left me in these woods, hoping I'd either die from exposure, which will be impossible unless it got really cold, but I simply built a small nest to keep myself warm, or one of the wildlife kills me, which again, is impossible seeing as I'm part dragon."

Star continued to listen as Marco sighed and shook his head, "I know this is longer than your story, but there's more," Star shook her head as she ushered Marco to continue, "I went searching for my mother after some time. I figured I'll have a better chance at surviving if I was with at least one of my parents, but when I showed up on her doorstep, she looked mortified to even see me. She grabbed a kitchen knife and swung down, trying to cut my jugular vein, but a dragon's skin is like the strongest armor you can possibly think of. The knife snapped and her eyes widened as I turned and flew away from her, fearing for my life. Ever since then, I haven't trusted another human or another creature. I've been on my own, avoiding contact with the disgusting races that are human and dragon,"

Marco stopped speaking as the wood crackled and popped as embers flew in the air, "If I had to guess, my mother told the town of a Dragonborn existing and how valuable my scales, wings and tail are…humans are just the embodiment of greed. They don't care how they get paid…hell, I'm sure they'd sell their own families out to get even the smallest amount of gold," he looked up with knowing eyes, "So…why is the disgusting race after you, angel? Last I heard, angels aren't of value in the marketplace, so why-"

"They wanted me to give them some kind of Devine Protection, and when I explained that I had my right to refuse them, they got angry at me, saying I should be ashamed to even call myself an angel, and how they will clip my wings for being arrogant," Star stared out towards the forest and saw small lights heading towards the opposite direction of the cave, "In excess, any one of the Seven Deadly Sins could kill a person. The humans that I've encountered have the sin of Wrath and from the sound of your adventures, the humans you've encountered contain the sin of Greed…let me ask you something, Dragonborn," Marco hummed in confusion as Star looked back, "You say humans are the embodiment of greed, and yet you said your father was building an army to help protect his treasures, wouldn't that act prove that dragons are the greedy ones and not humans?"

"A dragon's treasure is theirs, if you steal from a dragon, you're asking to die," Marco narrowed his eyes, "Dragons don't have much in this world and what they do have, they protect no matter what, but they also care for their families…are at least…they're supposed to," Star slightly frowned as Marco moved closer to her and looked up at the darkened sky as thunder began to rumble and he sighed, "It looks like we're stuck here tonight," he turned and walked back to the fire, "You better get comfortable, angel, these caves are rough on the lower back," Star took a deep breath before she turned and walked back to the fire as well.

A violent stormed raged outside as rain poured down in sheets, lightning flashed, and thunder roared. The two sat in front of the dying embers of the once bright fire. Seeing the final, smoldering embers go out, Star sighed and looked up at Marco, "You can't light the wood again once they go out, can you, Dragonborn?" Marco hummed as he shook his head, "Didn't think so," Marco looked up and saw as Star hugged herself and began shivering as a gust of cold wind blew through the cave.

Feeling something wrap around her, Star looked up to see a black wing wrapped around her before she looked at Marco with a questionable look, "Dragonborn?" Marco hummed and looked at her in confusion, "What are you doing?"

"My wings provide a great deal of warmth, angel, not enough to prevent me from dying in the freezing cold, but it should be more than enough to keep you warm tonight," Star arched a brow as she shook her head, "If you are going to die, you are going to die by me, not by some stupid technicality or the damned cold, and when I do kill you, I will want a challenge, so you have my word, on my Dragon's Honor, you will remain safe throughout the night,"

"Whatever you say, Dragonborn," Star sighed as she scooted closer to him and leaned up against him, "I guess I can return the favor and share what little body heat I have with you so you don't die…but don't go and get the wrong idea, Dragonborn…I'm going to be the one who kills you and I won't let you die from the cold," Marco hummed and nodded before a flash of lightning cracked across the blackened sky, temporarily blinding the two.

Well…this is the first chapter and as far as I've seen, there is no other story like this and if there is, please feel free to correct me. Please enjoy.
