After their exploration of the Crown Tundra, the groups soon boarded a train back to Wedgehurst before going to Postwick, heading deep into the Slumbering Weald before approaching the altar where the sword and shield were held.
"I remember this place. This was where the whole thing began." David said.
"Yes, where we first met the two legendary rulers of Galar. It's been so long." Ace said as he traced his hand over the altar. "Even now, I can sense a slight surge of power from this altar."
"Awoooo!" two howls let out as both Pokémon jumped down before them.
"Zacian...Zamazenta…" Titanica said.
"Greetings...heroes of Galar." Zacian said.
"Seems Calyrex has given you our message." Zamazenta said.
"Yes. Going through the Crown Tundra was quite the experience on its own." David said.
"So why have you called us here?" Jexi asked.
"Yes. Well...the Darkest Day was vanquished, the Armor was brought to its full potential and the Crown has been restored as well. There is not much for us to do in this land much. Galar has once again entered a time of peace." Zacian said.
"I have a feeling I know where this is going." Cheetah said.
"Right you are, Barbara. One more challenge still awaits you." Zamazenta said.
"We truly desire to come with you, we do. But before then...a battle is an order. Sort of a sendoff before things reach their climax." Zacian said.
"Heh. I see. What better way for what's essentially this land's grand finale." David said.
"Exactly. I couldn't see this going any other way." Siege said with a nod. "I may have beaten Champions in the past, like Lance and Cynthia, but even now… I'm honored to be given this opportunity."
"We humbly accept." Qadira added.
"You misunderstand. This offer does not go to anyone but the heroes of Galar." Zamazenta said.
"Huh? Us? You are certain of this?" David asked.
"If it were not for you people, we would not even be standing here before you nor could we have defeated Eternatus." Zacian said.
"Oh I get it. We weren't around the last time so we're excluded from this. Got it." Siege nodded in understanding.
"He makes a good point, Ishihara. All in all, it really did come down to us in the end." Cheetah said.
"Yeah… I guess it did in a way." David said.
"You two can have this. I captured Eternatus and I think that's enough for me." Titanica said.
"Thank you, Alice. Alright. We accept your challenge. Let's make it a good one." David said.
"Very well. We will not hold back." Zamazenta said.

"Here I come, Zacian!" David said as he sent out Froslass.
"Prepare yourself, Zamazenta!" Cheetah said, sending out Luxray.
Both Zacian and Zamazenta, with their respective items equipped, entered their Crowned forms. They prepared for battle as Zacian's Intrepid Sword boosted its attack, as Zamazenta's defense went up due to Dauntless Shield.
"It's time to show you the power of your predecessors!" Zacian said. "Sacred Sword!" it then charged, sword in mouth at Froslass.
"Iron Head!" Zamazenta unfolded its shield and charged at Luxray.
"Big mistake." David said as Zacian's Sacred Sword went through Froslass.
"Now it's my turn! Shadow Ball!" David said.
"Behemoth...Blade!" Zacian said cutting the shadow ball in half. "You almost had me but I'm not the type to trip up like that." Zacian said before jumping at Froslass and attacking with another Behemoth Blade.
"Behemoth Bash!" Zamazenta said, charging into Luxray.
"We will not submit! Luxray, Electro Ball!" Cheetah called as Luxray Fired a sphere of electricity.
"Iron Defense!" Zamazenta said, strengthening his defense as he braced against the damage of Electro Ball.
"This is intense!" Siege said as he watched the battle rage.
"Come on...you two can do this." Titanica said.
"Let's put an end to this." Zacian said. "Behemoth Blade!"
"Behemoth Bash!" Zamazenta said as the two Pokémon went charging in at their opponents.
"Now's the time. Ice Punch, full power!" David said.
"You as well. Wild Charge!" Cheetah said.
Both Pokémon charged at one another, their power clashing with one another before it resulted in a massive explosion. Once it cleared, the four Pokémon were soon collapsed on the ground.
"Oh my!" Thorani said.
"They were all equal in strength. This was indeed a very close matchup." Sojiro said.
"Very impressive." Spade said.
"But who won? Or is it a draw?" Allison asked as she looked on.
"No winner or loser. This was simply a display in our powers." David said.
"Well said." Zacian said as she and Zamazenta got up. "You've proven yourselves. There are no worries for leaving Galar anymore."
"As such, we leave our fates in your hands." Zamazenta said as he and Zacian bowed to the heroes.
"What do you think, Cheets? You okay with taking Zamazenta?" David asked.
"He stood with me in the battle against Eternatus… so from the beginning, I've accepted him." Cheetah said. "Zamazenta. Will you be my shield, as I will be your sword?"
"Indeed." Zamazenta said.
"I guess that leaves me with you, Zacian." David said.
"So it does. We will work well together." Zacian said.
"I'd bet. Having you by my side reminds me of when the Tapu Guardians of Alola were travelling with us for a time. But we had to release them because of all the damage done to Alola." David said.
"They had to uptake their roles as guardians to ensure no future attacks can occur. It was the right thing to do...even if it wasn't the best choice." Ace said.
"I know. I still miss them, but...ultimately, I had to think what's best for them." David said.
"You know...we may have the legends and solved all of Galar's problems. However...there is still one more piece of business before we bid it farewell." Titanica said.
"The Galarian Star Tournament I heard about, right?" Siege asked.
"The very same." Simon said. "Teams of two will have the chance to compete against each other with their Pokémon."
"How about it? One final hurrah before we decide to leave Galar." Titanica said.
"It could be fun. Alright. We're in." David said.
"The Galarian Star Tournament. Just like old times back in Kanto." Simon said as Cheshire hopped onto his shoulder.
"Okay...let's see who will claim the top spot." Titanica said.
