"Okay everybody! Match 3 is getting underway. For this one, we'll have Siege Sukui and Kiana facing off against Leia Rolando and Twilight Sparkle. We're in for a treat here as two of them are champions from two different regions." Leon said.
Siege was turned away from Leia and Twilight as Kiana looked right at them, as Siege glanced backwards. "So, you're a champion as well? Which region?"
"Alola." Sci-Twi said.
"Ah. I am a champion of Kanto… as well as Sinnoh." Siege said, turning around as he whipped his jacket out in a cool manner. "And as defending champion of both of those regions, I will show you no mercy with my Pokémon's overwhelming strength and tactics." Siege added. "So steel yourself, and your Pokémon, for I, Siege Sukui, with my partner Kiana Kaslana, will show you both our combined might, and Kiana's incredible growth as an astounding trainer!"
"Yeah, get ready!" Kiana said with a smirk. "Here we come!"
(Cue - Trainer Red Epic Remix - DJTheFishhead)
"Okay...guess we're starting then. Let's go, Ribombee!" Sci-Twi called out.
"Let's show them our might! Frosterra!" Siege yelled as he sent out an Alolan Vulpix, but she radiated with incredible strength.
"Okay. I guess I'll start off with this!" Leia said, sending out Eelektross.
"Let's go, Gengar!" Kiana called out, sending out Gengar.
"You may...begin!" the ref called out.
"Okay, let's do this. Ribombee, attack Frosterra with Pollen Puff." Sci-Twi said as Ribombee gathered pollen into a ball before tossing it at Frosterra, as it seemed to damage Frosterra, although she didn't flinch much.
"Alright then, let's see if this works. Eelektross, use Thunderbolt!" Leia said, as the attack seemed to land on Gengar, dealing some damage to it.
"Frosterra, return the favour with Aurora Beam!" Siege ordered, as the Alolan Vulpix fired a dazzling beam of energy from her mouth, which hit head-on with Ribombee, weakening it slightly, due to it being distracted by the glow of the light.
"Gengar, use Shadow Ball on Ribombee!" Kiana told Gengar, who immediately charged a ball of ethereal energy, before launching it at Ribombee, weakening it even more.
"Twilight, do you think I should risk it? Can Ribombee take another hit?" Leia asked.
"It'll be fine. Ribombee, use Absorb!" Sci-Twi said as Ribombee took energy from Gengar and restored its own energy.
"Alright then… Eelektross, use Discharge!" Leia said, as it too hit Gengar, causing it to begin to waver on its standing.
"Looks like we're going to have to hit both… Frosterra, use Powder Snow!" Siege ordered, as Frosterra let out a hail of snow particles that barraged both Eelektross and Ribombee, bringing them closer to fainting.
"You're going to regret hitting Gengar that much! Gengar, use Payback on Eelektross!" Kiana declared, as Gengar lunged onto Eelektross and pummeled with furious force, enhanced from the vengeful feeling Gengar had from taking Eelektross's hits earlier.
"Let me help! Ribombee, use Pollen Puff on Eelektross!" Sci-Twi said as Ribombee tossed the pollen onto Eelektross, restoring its energy.
"Whew… Thanks. Now… Let's turn up the heat with Flamethrower!" Leia said as Eelektross spout a torrent of flames at Frosterra.
"Don't let that hit you, Frosterra! Dodge!" Siege shouted, as Frosterra immediately sprung into the air, dodging the attack, although only just barely. "Good, now return fire with Powder Snow!"
Both Ribombee and Eelektross were damaged more, as Ribombee wasn't in good shape at all.
"Healing yourself and your ally, your Ribombee is troublesome." Kiana remarked. "Then I'll just take it out first! Hypnosis on Ribombee!"
Gengar grinned, before it then did a hypnotic motion with its hands, slowly lulling Ribombee into sleep.
"Snap out of it!" Sci-Twi said as Ribombee tried to keep it together.
"Don't worry. I've got your back. I'll go for both of them. Use Rock Slide!" Leia said as rocks fell and crashed into both Frosterra and Gengar. While Frosterra resisted, Gengar was left incapacitated.
"Didn't get Frosterra but at least Gengar is out of the way." Sci-Twi said. "I can try and clear her out. Ribombee, use Dazzling Gleam!" she said as Ribombee hit Frosterra with a light of fairy energy but didn't manage to finish off Frosterra. "Man, she is very sturdy."
"She's right, the strength radiating from that Alolan Vulpix is no joke." Al said.
"Return, Gengar." Kiana said. "Go, Absol!" she said switching out her pokemon.
"And Frosterra, let's finish things off with Powder Snow!" Siege said as Frosterra let loose another Powder Snow, taking out only Ribombee.
"Return." Sci-Twi said. "Hmm...it's definitely got power. Luckily, I have someone with just as much power. Let's go, Kommo-o!" she said, sending out Kommo-o.
"Kommo-o? But Frosterra's an Ice Type, he's not gonna be able to compete with her." Kazuichi said.
"I think you're missing the point, Soda. Twilight wouldn't bring out Kommo-o if she didn't have a plan." Hope said.
"Besides, Kommo-o isn't just a Dragon type." Jexi said.
"That's right. Kommo-o is a Fighting type, too." David said.
"Ah, so it will be effective against the Alolan Vulpix since it's an Ice type which is weak to Fighting types." Ginseng said.
Kommo-o went charging right in as it went on avoiding Frosterra's ice attacks before getting close.
"Now! Close Combat!" Sci-Twi said as Kommo-o went about beating against Frosterra at close range before defeating it with a final punch.
"Dang, that smarts. Sorry, Frosterra. I'll pay you back later." Siege said as he returned her. "Now, let's give this new face a nice warm welcome!" he said as he sent out Regidrago.
"The Draconic Titan arrives." Naga Rider said.
"I had a feeling he might want to try out Regidrago's power in battle." Sci-Twi said. "This won't be easy."
"No kidding." Leia said.
"How bout we start off Strong? Regidrago, use Dragon Energy!" Siege called.
Regidrago's body shifted until it looked like a dragon's skull. It then fired off a crimson beam of energy which combed the ground and made a large explosion in a horizontal line.
"(Damn.)" Kagura said in japanese.
"Man, that's very strong." Leia said as she returned Eelektross. "Okay, you're up, Mienshao!" Leia said as she sent out Mienshao.
"You handle Absol. I'll work on taking down Regidrago." Sci-Twi said.
"Alright. You can count on me!" Leia said.
"Dragon against dragon? That's fine by me." Siege said.
"Okay… Let's start with a Force Palm!" Leia said as Mienshao struck Absol.
"And Kommo-o, attack with Clanging Scales!" Sci-Twi said as Kommo-o attacked Regidrago with numerous soundwaves from its scales.
"Dragon type move for Dragon type move! Dragon Claw!" Siege said as Regidrago charged Kommo-o Head on.
"Absol, fight back against Mienshao with Night Slash!" Kiana commanded as Absol and Mienshao combated each other, arm to horn.
"Calm down, Mienshao. Use Calm Mind." Leia said as Mienshao started to relax. "Now, Aura Sphere!"
Mienshao blasted a sphere of Ki energy at Absol, which had a direct hit.
"Alright, that nailed him! Now, Aerial Ace!" Leia said.
Mienshao then jumped into the air before going right into Absol with another powerful blow, finishing it.
"Wow. that Mienshao is really strong." Kiana said as she returned Absol.
"Why wouldn't it be? Mienshao really helped me out against Ghetsis." Leia said.
"Wait, you fought Ghetsis?!" Kiana asked.
"Twice, actually. Would've been Champion of Unova if he didn't ruin everything. The second time we fought, Mienshao took out half of Ghetsis' team, including his Hydreigon, by herself." Leia said.
"Seriously?! That's crazy strong! Well, I guess it's more fitting that I send this guy out as my last Pokémon, then." Kiana said as she sent out Giratina.
"Careful. Giratina may be a dragon but it has Ghost type traits. Fighting moves won't have any effect on it." Sci-Twi said as Kommo-o clashed with Regidrago.
"I know. Mienshao doesn't have much that can damage it. Luckily, I still have one Pokémon left in case of a scenario like that." Leia said.
"Not to mention…" Kiana chuckled as she soon turned to the Herrscher of the Void…
And Giratina turned to his Distortion World state, shocking everyone.
)"So it's holding a Griseous Orb." Tails said.
"What's that?" Steven asked.
"Giratina can't have its Distortion World form in the outside but that orb projects a field around it so it can maintain its form even outside the Distortion World." Tails said.
"Interesting, so that orb allows Giratina to shift reality around itself." Mari said.
"Well at least it's better than the Dark Dimension." Al said.
(Cue- Theme of Sakura- Namco X Capcom)
"Well, I'm not scared at all. I can take him on, no problem!" Leia said.
"You wanna take on the Ruler of the Distortion World and go all out?" Kiana asked. "Oh, it's on! Giratina, use Shadow Force!"
Giratina unleashed its power and vanished back into the Distortion World.
"Only one move I can use in this scenario. Use Calm Mind!" Leia said.
Mienshao boosted its power again while waiting for Giratina to reappear and attack. A few moments later, the ruler of the Distortion World shattered the barrier of reality and charged to Mienshao head on.
"Gotta get at least one hit in. Use Aerial Ace!" Leia said.
Mienshao charged and passed by Giratina as both attacked each other, landing on opposite sides. As Giratina suffered a powerful blow, Mienshao was the one who collapsed onto the ground.
"Well...seems we're all down to our last Pokémon." Sci-Twi said seeing Kommo-o and Regidrago both collapsed on the ground.
"Seems like it. This is going to make it most memorable." Siege said, sending out Moeru.
"I guess the time has finally come. I hope you're ready!" Leia said, sending out Reshiram.
"The same goes for you." Sci-Twi said, sending out Decidueye.
"Your first real battle, King Reshiram. Let's see some style!" Leia said.
"As you wish, Leia. I'm as ready as I'll ever be." Reshiram said.
The final four Pokémon stood each other down. And then, the calls were given.
"Giratina, use Dragon Pulse on Reshiram!" Kiana called.
"Moeru, use Sunsteel Strike!" Siege said.
"Decidueye...Sinister...Arrow Raid!" Sci-Twi said.
"Reshiram, time for some Dragonbreath!" Leia said.
All four Pokémon fired their attacks as they collided with one another in a massive explosion of powerful moves. The dust soon settled before standing over the defeated Pokémon were Reshiram and Decidueye.
"Incredible! The ones moving on are...Leia and Twilight!" the ref called out.

"Huh...well...guess I shouldn't have expected any less from a few champions." Siege said.
"Almost became champion." Leia said.
"Damn, now I feel even more embarrassed for losing." Siege said.
"Still, defeating Giratina is no easy feat. Very few can say that they have accomplished that." Kiana said.
"Man, I didn't think that both me and Richard would've been knocked out in the first round. Have we been slipping up on our Pokémon battling, or are you guys just that good?" Siege asked.
"Well, we were probably just lucky we can't use full teams in this tournament. It probably would've been a whole different story." Leia said.
"Yeah, but even the best of us slip up from time to time." Siege said.
"I would always like to welcome another battle with you. Anytime, anywhere." Sci-Twi said.
"I might take you guys up on that." Siege said.
