"At last! It's finally time for the finals of the Galarian Star Tournament!" Leon said. "Who will come out on top in this final confrontation? Will it be the newcomers, Jexi the Hunter and Cheetah? Or the duo of our champion Alice Right and her mentor Hope the Victor?"
"Well Jexi, here we are again." Hope said.
"Mhm." Jexi mused.
"It seems like you also wanted this as well, Ginova." Cheetah said.
Hope nodded. "Our fight at Furious Universe was a Draw, and during the GGG Cup, he let me win. This'll be my first time battling Jexi at something when he's a little more serious."
"Hope, stay focused. Just because he's getting serious doesn't mean you get to relax." Titanica said.
"I know. I know better than to relax around Jexi." Hope said. "I'm ready to go all the way."
"Please send out your first Pokemon!" the ref called out.
"Go, Vaporeon!" Jexi said.
"Mind if Jolteon joins in?" Cheetah asked.
"I wouldn't at all." Jexi said.
"Then come! Jolteon!" Cheetah said summoning said pokemon.
"Tyrantrum, you're up!" Hope said calling out the Despot pokemon, who announced his arrival with its signature roar.
"Let's go, Toxtricity!" Titanica said.
"You may...begin!" the ref said.
"Vaporeon, use Aurora Beam on Tyrantrum!" Jexi said as Vaporeon fired a rainbow colored beam into Tyrantrum.
"Dodge it, Tyrantrum!" Hope called as Tyrantrum evaded.
"Gotcha. Double Kick!" Cheetah said as Jolteon hit Tyrantrum right on the bridge of the skull.
"Alright, my turn! Tyrantrum, use Dragon Tail on Jolteon!" Hope called as Tyrantrum smacked Jolteon away with its tail. In its place stood Espeon.
"Good, now I can use my electric moves." Titanica said. "Toxtricity, use Eerie Impulse!" she said as Toxtricity did major damage to Vaporeon.
"But you forgot something else. Psybeam!" Cheetah said.
"Tyrantrum, shield Toxitricity!" Hope said as Tyrantrum blocked. "You're not gonna stop Alice's concert that easy, Cheetah! Head Smash, go!"
Tyrantrum retaliated against Espeon and slammed into it with his strongest move, dealing a good amount of damage, Tyrantrum powering through the recoil thanks to Rock Head.
"Hydro Pump!" Jexi called out as Vaporeon hit Tyrantrum with a powerful blast of water. "Sorry but while I want at you, I gotta come to my partner's aid too."
"And now for something truly unexpected. Burrow down, Espeon." Cheetah said.
Surprisingly to everyone watching, Espeon used Dig! It burrowed underground to prepare its next strike.
"Toxtricity, we need to strike while the iron is hot. Now, attack with Discharge. Finish off that Vaporeon!" Titanica said.
Toxtricity let out a large of electricity across the field. Tyrantrum wasn't very affected but there was a massive hit to Vaporeon as it barely held on.
"If that didn't make you go down, this will! Dragon Tail!" Hope said as Tyrantrrum swung its tail at Vaporeon only for Vaporeon to jump over it.
"You really expect me...to just sit there and take it? Then you still don't know a thing. Water Pulse!" he called out as Vaporeon hit Tyrantrum up close, finishing it.
Hope returned Tyrantrum. "I'm not backing down, Jexi. Here's my next pokemon!" Hope said, calling out Metagross.
"Finish off Vaporeon before…" Titanica said before the ground shook as Espeon emerged and struck Toxtricity, taking it out in one hit.
"Well now, it seems we have them at the disadvantage, Jexi." Cheetah said.
"Don't let your guard down just yet. That was just the opening act." Jexi said.
"Disadvantage? We haven't even gotten to that point yet. Least...I haven't." Titanica smiled. "Let's make our debut! Go, Eternatus!" she said, sending out Eternatus.
The crowd was in shock as they saw the pokemon who caused the Darkest day floating there. Smaller in size, but still as menacing.
"Whoa. Finally taking him out for a battle, huh?" Hope asked.
"I wanna make a strong impression in this final battle in Galar. What better than the Pokemon that forced our hand to come here?" Titanica said.
"Alright then. Let's go!" Hope said.
"Hmm… Eternatus is still a Poison-type, so I think I'm good where I'm at now. I can at least land a few hits on this thing if not outright defeat it. Future Sight!" Cheetah said.
(Cue- Open Your Heart- Sonic Adventure)
Espeon's eyes glowed as an attack was foreseen.
"Time to even the playing field." Hope said. "Metagross, take out Vaporeon with Thunder Punch!"
Metagross charged in and attacked Vaporeon. Vaporeon jumped into the air again to dodge. Metagross wasn't going to fall for that like Tyrantrum, and followed Vaporeon into the air and hit it hard with its rear right arm, finishing it off for good.
"Nice. And Eternatus, attack Espeon with Dynamax Cannon!" Titanica said as Eternatus gathered energy in its core before it fired at Espeon, causing lots of damage.
"Just as strong as I remembered. Too bad Ishihara isn't here for this one." Cheetah said. "Still, I'll just have to make do with the situation I'm placed in. This time, use Confusion!"
Espeon blasted Eternatus with a psychic blast, garnering a super effective hit, but not enough to keep Eternatus down.
"Sorry but that won't be enough. Show your full power! A beam that can pierce the heavens and defeat any giant, maybe even a god! Go! Eternabeam!" she said as the beam fired as it took out Espeon the moment it hit.
"Taken down in one hit. That's very powerful." Cheetah said as she returned Espeon. "Jolteon, get back in there!"
"You go out too, Flareon!" Jexi said, sending out Flareon. "Seems Eternatus is pulling back. Looks like it needs to rest after firing that attack."
"Which means if there's a time to strike, it would be now." Cheetah said. "I hope you can forgive me for using this. Discharge!"
Jolteon blasted a large dome of electricity all over the place, damaging all three Pokemon.
"Gonna have to buy some time for Eternatus to recharge." Hope said.
"Too bad. Because Eternatus...was never MY target." Jexi said as Flareon dashed at Metagross. "Flare Blitz!" he called out as Flareon rammed into Metagross, causing massive damage to it along with some recoil.
"And there's also one other thing…" Cheetah said. "Remember Future Sight? It's a parting gift from Espeon."
"No." Hope said as Eternatus was hit with Future Sight, taking it down.

"Holy crap! Cheetah just took out Eternatus! And she didn't even need Zamazenta!" David said.
"Not only that, but they're both pummeling Hope and Titanica." Glimmer said.
"Maybe there's always some people who are just stronger than you." Catra said.
Back on the field, Metagross was hanging on, but Hope looked back at Titanica.
"You okay, Alice?" Hope asked. "You're down to your last Pokemon already."
"Down? Hope, you must be mistaken...I'm getting excited." she said.
"Excited?" Hope asked.
"Yes." Titanica said. "Excited...cause now...I can really show off my skills! Now, come my heart and soul! Cinderace!" she said, sending out Cinderace.
Hope smiled. "Metagross, lets hang in there the best we can!" Metagross nodded. "See what you can do about Jolteon! Use Meteor Mash!"
Metagross charged at Jolteon and delivered a powerful punch to it, sending it flying into the air as it crashed back down and fainted.
"Now for Flareon!" Hope said. "Metagross, how bout you show off the move I taught you! Unleash the energy from the cosmos! Meteor Beam!"
Metagross charged up with Cosmic energy and fired it in a large blast that hit Flareon, damaging it greatly as it was taken out. His Sp. Attack was also raised.
"Whoa." Kagura said.
"Wow...both down to our last Pokemon...and everything hinging on this." Jexi said as his aura seemed to flare. "Now this is exciting."
"Yes. Perhaps we should take this more seriously now." Cheetah said.
"Yeah...let's go! My best buddy! Eevee!" Jexi said, sending out Eevee.
"As for me… May as well bring out the one that started this whole thing for us." Cheetah said, sending out Haxorus.
"Let's make this a memorable fight. Let's start by evening things out. Eevee, Sizzly Slide!" Jexi called out as Eevee ran into Metagross with a fire attack as it hit it, taking it down. "Now we all are down to our last."
"You and Alice have your partners out, Jexi. So I'll call out mine." Hope said. "C'mon down, Lunala!" he called as Lunala descended from the sky and screeched in arrival.
"Where does she keep coming from?" Ajna asked.
"Lunala is always close to Hope in case she needs to come in and battle. She's one of those free spirited outside of Pokeball types." Gemini explained.
"Ah, like Cheshire and Mercury." Simon said as Cheshire sat on his shoulder and Mercury sticking his head out of Mari's hair.
"You've got that right." Zacian said.
"Okay Lunala. Lets get ready for a real fight!" Hope said. "Time for a little Cosmic Power!"
Lunala harnessed the power of space and powered herself up with the cosmic energy, increasing both her Physical and Special Defense.
"Nice work but...such power doesn't matter when it comes to Galar." Jexi said, recalling Eevee as its Pokeball grew large before he tossed it and GigantaMaxed it.
"The same can be said of us." Titanica said doing the same with Cinderace.
"Well then…." Hope said. "Let's give the Galar Region one last epic battle to remember!"
"Let's show them what this whole thing is all about! Go! GMAX Fireball!" Titanica said as Cinderace kicked its fireball.
"GMAX Cuddle!" Jexi said as Eevee rushed in.
The two Pokemon engaged in a titanic clash as Lunalla flew around the battle as fire and energy blasted everywhere. She then set her sights on Haxorus.
"Lunala! Hit Haxorus with Shadow Ball!" Hope called as Lunala obliged and blasted Haxorus with the ghost type move from above.
"Don't think we're just going to take that. Time for some Assurance!" Cheetah said.
Haxorus leaped into the air and struck back at Lunala with a super effective hit, the damage reduced thanks to Shadow Shield.
"Don't give up, girl!" Hope said. "Knock it back down to earth with Night Daze!"
Lunala shrugged off the hit and blasted her own dark type attack and sent Haxorus down to the ground hard.
"Don't let up on it! Use Moongeist Beam!" Hope called as Lunala hammered Haxorus with its signature move.
"How about another dose?" Cheetah asked. "Use Assurance once more."
"This time I'm not gonna let you get hit Lunala." Hope said as Haxorus jumped up again. "Wait for it girl…"
Haxorus flew up to Lunala to strike again, and was close to attacking. It was then hope saw his moment.
"Now, partner! Shadow Ball, Point Blank!" Hope called as Lunala blasted Haxorus just as he was about to hit her, sending him back down to the ground fainted.
"Hehehe...that guy...he really has grown a lot." Jexi said as Eevee had just been taken down by Cinderace.
"And that's all folks. After an exciting battle...our victors of the Galarian Star Tournament are...Titanica and Hope!" Leon said as the crowds cheered loudly.
Titanica and hope gave each other a celebratory hug before raising each other's arms in victory to the crowd.
"Thank you. We have been quite honored to accept this victory. As such, I would like to donate one of my prizes. The ship formerly known as the Dark Cruiser will be given to Cheetah and Reformed Society, a small step in their way to become a group to protect the worlds if they so choose." Titanica said.
"I am humbled, truly." Cheetah said.
"Same here. I really enjoyed our battle." Titanica said.
"Now...I have one other announcement. From now on, the Galarian Star Tournament will be held...every week! This was such an amazing feeling, no way we can just let it disappear now. Let's keep this feeling going for as long as we can!" Leon called out with his signature pose as the crowd roared in delight.
"It's gonna be interesting to see which combinations pop up. We might have to try this again sometime." Siege said.
"I hear that. There are so many of us that are just itching to get into this kind of tournament. We may come back here again when we're not too busy." David said.
"Until then though, we all have things to do." Hope said. "But we'll be back."
As the Five Groups parted ways with Spirit Force, Unmei Force and the Soldiers of Fortune, the Reformed Society had something to report.
"Three individuals? And they all claimed to be Color Fighters?" Hope asked.
"We couldn't believe it either. We figured there was something strange about them." Yangus said.
"You think they're part of that order that Aimi chick was part of?" Yang said.
"Most likely. From how they're described, we can't rule out that possibility." David said.
"Whoa! Uh...guys...you should see this." Rainbow said, checking her phone, finding an article about the destruction of the Universal Government.
"Well, it was bound to happen eventually, but damn." Captain Cold said.
"I know they weren't everyone's favorite but...a bombing like this. Still, it seems they show some sense. They let go of anyone willing to step down." Lan said.
"Nice to know they aren't totally insane." Vashyron said.
"Looks like one was missing during the bombing. Who do you think got out in time?" Zephyr asked.
"According to it, they didn't get out, they just haven't shown up in a couple weeks." Lan said.
"Either way, it's hard to decide if we should take action or not. True, they just destroyed a government but they did it out of a sense of right and wrong." Jexi said.
"..." David thought in silence about that. "It looks like the kind of thing I'd be doing, if it weren't for all of you keeping me restrained."
"And those three that we ran into, they ran off as soon as Index used his Alchemy Style to take apart my space suit. They didn't seem all that interested in the war after the Archangel rebelled against the Earth Forces." Cheetah said.
"Hmm...and you said this war was in the Future Universe right?" Jet said.
"That's right. And we stocked our new ship with the Mobile Suits to prove it. Could these people really be enemies...or allies? We have no way of knowing for sure." Cheetah said.
"Just as I thought. In those zones, there were a couple of places that serves as lookout station for the now fired Theodore Flux. Small places to hide secret weapon plans. I just cross-referenced the photos from the war. Seems all of those lookouts were destroyed." Miles said.
"Speaking of which, you also said you spotted...her there, right?" Mayumi asked.
"Yes. We fought and defeated her twice, but she fled when the Earth Forces led by Muruta Azrael were wiped out." Riesz said.
"And she seemed kind of surprised that there are people actually willing to follow Cheetah here. Though, considering the history between them, I guess we shouldn't be surprised she'd think that." Toya said.
"Geez… We ran into those Knights and Cheetah's Wonder Woman in the same war. If that's not a huge coincidence, I don't know what is." Agito said.
"Odd part was, we weren't even aware that there was even a plan in motion. We just happened to conveniently be there." Cheetah said.
"Trust us, that's not strange in the slightest." Jexi said.
"But now that you guys had a brush with them, I guess you can't just let it go, huh?" David asked.
"I suppose." Cheetah said. "But to be honest, I would still prefer to hunt down Wonder Woman...along with that so called alchemist."
"I think you might have a better chance if you stuck around with us. We always happen to attract people like that." David said.
"We decline." Cheetah said.
"Oh, I-I see. I won't judge. It was worth a shot." David said.
"This is nothing to do with you, Ishihara. But seeing as we now have claim to a ship, there's no point in teaming up with you just to hunt one man. However, I will keep you updated if we find out any information about these people." Cheetah said. "Besides, somehow I get the feeling they won't stop with the government."
"Yeah, people like them never seem to. Call it my Agent's Intuition, but… I can't help but feel that something else is going on." David said. "Just...watch yourself out there."
"Come on, Ishihara. It's us you're talking to here." Cheetah said.
"Still though. I have to wonder what kind of endgame the Knights of the lost are planning. Especially their leader." Hope said.
"Yeah...just...what is their true goal?" Jexi pondered.
Meanwhile, in a dark castle somewhere in the Lost Universe…
"Well...look who just showed up." Rebellious said seeing Aimi. "Heard you went rogue and tried to overthrow humanity."
"That isn't even remotely true." Aimi said. "I could say the same with your failure to defeat that small group."
"The waves of freedom...just weren't blowing right that day." Rebellious said.
"No matter. Brave and Aurora were able to rid the worlds of that so called government." a large, muscular man wearing a bear pelt said.
"Seems our ears are burning." a voice said as they saw the duo enter.
"Speak of the devils. The gunslinging duo decide to grace us with their presence." Razor said.
"Sorry, but we had to make sure we got every last piece of that place." Brave said. "So...you guys did the same?"
"All of the labs were destroyed and our objective was never discovered from the forces we were blending with." Index said.
"As expected from the man called the Wisest and Oldest among the lost." Aurora said.
"I don't know about wisest but I am definitely the oldest." Index laughed.
"I say you shouldn't have stopped there. You should have sealed away all the evil that is Reformed Society and those soldiers. Bring us closer to a peaceful life." said a woman in robes.
"I'm no butcher, Solace. While I tried to finish her, I knew one of her allies would come to her aid. So it was best to create a distracting scenario to allow myself time to escape." Index said.
"True. You, Rebellious, Ursa, even Slayer, are the four strongest among our ranks. We could not risk losing any of you." Solace said.
"So, about those guys that got in our way… what do we do about em?" Rebellious asked.
"Nothing." a voice called out as they saw an imposing figure standing above them as it came down.
"Our great king! Lord Barl!" Razor said as he knelt to the ground as did a number of the knights.
"My lord. Brave and Aurora have done their task. The Universal Government is no more." Index said.
"I know." Barl said as he approached the two. "You two have done well. Without that government, we've brought the universes closer to peace. As for you Aimi, I've heard of what you attempted. I cannot say I approve but I am relieved you returned to us alive."
"My king…" Aimi said.
"Why can't we attack those guys? They're criminals aren't they?" Rebellious said.
"On paper, yes. But, they are at the least attempting to change. As long as they do not bother us, it is fine. If they do interfere with our goals again, we will eliminate them without prejudice." Barl said.
"Understood, Lord Barl." Razor said.
"I take it...you've made your decision?" Index asked.
"You could say that, yes. While the government is gone, there are still so many threats that need to be dealt with." Barl said before stopping. "Geez, did I sound cool or what saying that?" he said laughing a bit.
"He may hold a title like king but...it is good to see he has not fully lost himself." Aimi said to herself.
"What is our next move, Master?" Ursa asked.
"Hmm...I would say the heroes but...the court is still out if they're hypocrites or just destructive people. But...I can name a few new targets that must be purged." Barl said. "Horde Prime is one. So are these New Universal Villains."
"The New Universal Villains we can purge easily. However, Horde Prime is still following a false trail." Index said.
"So...why should that matter? He's still in the Magic Universe, isn't he?" Barl said.
"Yes, but do you recall a little while ago when the Princesses mysteriously disappeared?" index asked.
"Yeah. I remember that. Those thieves stole them. The Phantom Thieves if I recall." Barl said.
"It was because of them that Horde Prime is on that wild goose chase that he is in right now." Index said.
"That right...ah...cause of the weapon. Yeah...I don't think he'll go after them for much longer." Barl said. "Etheria is a weaponized planet. And given his record, he'll definitely try to activate the weapon, with or without the princesses."
"I see. So he'll return to Etheria regardless of the false search. Very Inquisitive." Ursa said.
"How would you have us deal with him, My lord?" Razor asked.
"Hmm...hard to say. I tried to kill him once but he ended up in a different body." Barl said. "Guy's got this massive hive network so killing him is impossible unless the hive is broken. Sadly, I got no idea how."
"If i may, my king. If we cannot purge Horde Prime and his hive mind…. Perhaps i could seal it away." Solace said.
"That's your answer to everything." Barl said. "Wait...maybe we can use these heroes to our advantage. Brave, Aurora...think you can frame Horde Prime for an attack? With your style?"
"Of course but...attacking innocence?" Brave asked.
"Don't worry. You don't gotta hit anyone. Just attack a few buildings in Tokyo and…" Barl said.
"Tokyo? Are you insane? That's where the Ishihara boy hails. If he finds out a force is attacking, he'll take his friends...and go...fight...it." Aurora realized.
"Exactly." Barl smiled. "Use your Illusion Style to make it look like he attacked part of it, and pin it all on him."
"On it." Brave said. "This is all for taking back everything. So we'll be glad to do this. But...aren't you afraid that they'Il figure it was you?"
"I know its a possibility. But, if its to keep the promise I made to all of you, I'll gladly put my life on the table." Barl said.
"My king…" Razor said.
"Now...let's go and make this a peaceful multiverse." Barl said.
