So I've read Percy Jackson all the way up to Trials of Apollo and I've also recently started to read A Storm of Swords after A Clash of Kings and A Game of Thrones. I've also noticed that there is no long fanfic about Percy being the Drowned God of the Iron born. I also know that Percy would never venerate this type of person, the Iron born are but that is where Zeus comes in for the clutch. (I've got writer's block about Steel Trapped by Dragons)

Chapter 1 Eternally Punished

"Percy Jackson" said Zeus' voice boomed through the throne room of the olympian council. I went to my Father first and kneeled then kneeled to Zeus and waited for my reward for Kronos defeat. "You will be given Godhood of tides for beating Kronos what say you Percy?" Zeus said. "I will have to respectfully decline my King" I said.

"You forget yourself this was an order not a request and for this slight you will be sent away after your gift of Godhood" Zeus said with every word he said being laced in anger at my defence. "My Gift?" I said before a strange light washed over me with every fiber of my being being torn away replaced with something stronger. When I opened my eyes I was still in the Olympian Throne room.

"You will be the god of fishermen,Sailors and Drowned souls who will dwell in your halls forever" said Zeus "also you will be cursed to never take a step upon dry land by the world" Zeus said. I looked up shocked at his answer but before I could even look at Annabeth I was taken to the Elevator and shoved inside never to return. I looked at myself. I had grown to an adult height of 6'4 with perfectly chiseled muscles all through my body.

With nowhere to go but my mother's I said a goodbye to them with Zeus watching me waiting for his punishment to be acted out with his terror not far behind him if I delay too long in this task given to me. I finally chose a place in the sea to build halls and got a few builders from my father who said "I will sort out this mess with Zeus just be patient my son".

I waited and waited for Posiden to come to me with news of my return to land but when Posiden came it was not with good news but bad news. Zeus has told me "that you will not be rid of this punishment any longer than when this world still exists". By the time Posdien had come my palace and halls were built and my power base secure with the prayers of Sailors and drowned souls already arriving waiting for me to guide them to hades to be judged.

I settled in for what I thought would still be a couple of years of punishment for my lesson of defence to Zeus. When the first year passed and nothing happened I was distraught and deep in depression. So when the second year passed I closed the gates to my palace and fought off my depression by doing my duty to the people praying to me.

When the years passed into decades I hardly noticed with the news only coming from my father who visits every year. When decades passed to centuries I knew there was no hope for me getting any mercy from Zeus. Zeus was famous for holding grudges as well as he is famous for cheating. I learned that lesson the hardest.

By now I couldn't count the amount of souls I led into the hades realm with me displaying no emotion to the poor souls who still drown at this advanced age. The gods had shifted so many times around the world many people would get whiplash just by looking at them.

When the Gods asked for help I did not listen thinking Luke was right about one thing and I would not be their plaything once again. When the Priomdrals came crashing down into a fight with the Gods all I did was defend my palace with my power. When the lap dogs of the Primordials or maybe even the Gods came to my palace looking for an easy snack they only found one young god alone in his halls.

When the monster crashed into the Great hall all I did was sigh and pull out riptide my only loyal friend left to me by now. When the monster had stopped coming into my palace I shut the gates again and sat down and waited for something to change. I kept no attendance for my palace. The only company I have is misery and my palace is already full of that already.

When something finally did change I opened the doors to my Palace and looked out over the Earth and noticed no one was there. When I tried to step on land again I was thrown back into the sea with cruel efficiency. When I looked out all over the sea and earth I noticed that nothing was here only scorched planes and collapsed buildings.

"Had all the Gods and Primodals killed each other trying to rule the world" I thought outloud. "Yes" someone answered back when I looked for the answer. I only found lady Chaos staring back at me with Curiosity. When I tried to ask her a question she had flown away before my very eyes.

I noticed huge shifts and maybe even the whole world expanding and all the lands were being rearranged with the land also becoming bigger. When I looked out again everything I knew had changed and only my palace was left to me.

Lady Chaos came to me one day and said this to me "Choose land and make a people of your own choosing. I give you the power to do so with Zeus being out of the picture along with all the Primordials I need people for the new land I made". "Yes Lady Chaos" I said to her.

With the only other deity left on the planet told you to do something while being stronger than you it was wise to listen to them. With only me and her left of the old world that still someone curses me which I think is the doing of Lady Chaos I knew that I wanted isolation as the first priority. With all the other things maybe coming later.

Author's Note

I thought of this idea while brainstorming for Steel Trapped by Dragons and though why not, maybe it will give some inspiration for my other story. I hope you give this story a chance because you might like it. I am writing this also because other stories like this don't have enough chapters as well. This story is gonna be hard so expect long wait times and some mistakes though I hope not much.
