Hey guys having to do this chapter a second time on iPad.

S1 E2 Act 2

Thaymor.

Filled with Satyr-like people, all dancing, eating, drinking, playing music, and generally having fun.

Lonnie and Rogelio both stared. What was all this?

Glimmer pulled them aside. "Okay, put these on." She handed them ponchos, Lonnie a baby blue one, and Rogelio a Maroon red.

"Uuuuhhh… why?" Asked Lonnie.

"Because if the villagers see two Horde Soldiers they'll freak out. So we gotta fix… alllll this." She gestured to their clothing.

The pair could see the sense in that, and put the ponchos on.

"I feel stupid." Lonnie groaned.

Rogelio didn't feel the same, as he was striking poses.

"That's because you need something to tie it all together!" Bow told her, picking a flower off a bush and slipping the stem under one of Lonnie's dreadlocks.

"I don't like it!" She complained.

"The point is, you don't look like a Horde Soldier anymore. Just try and keep a low profile. We'll be in and out." Glimmer said, walking towards the village.

Lonnie and Rogelio stared at everything. "What's going on?" Asked Lonnie.

"It's a festival. You know, like a party." Explained Bow.

Seeing Lonnie and Rogelio's blank faces, he put two and two together.

"You don't have parties in the Fright Zone!?" He asked, mortified.

Rogelio and Lonnie looked at each other. They looked at Bow.

"Nope." Said Lonnie, truthfully.

Bow whimpered. The Horde really were monsters, to not teach their soldiers about parties.

"Did you even hear what I just said? In and out, Bow!" Glimmer told her friend, annoyed.

"They have never been to a party before, Glimmer! This is serious."

Glimmer decided it wasn't worth it to argue.

Lonnie and Rogelio had fun.

First, Bow led them to a stall, and bought a fruit, splitting it in two, and handing each half to the pair.

In the Horde, they had only eaten two kinds of Ration Bars. The grey kind, and the brown kind. The grey kind was very, very, very, slightly salty, and the brown kind blander.

This, however, was a taste described as sweet. It was the best thing Lonnie and Rogelio had ever tasted.

Next, they ate at a table. Lonnie wolfed down every morsel she could lay her hands on. Rogelio could hardly get a bite, so he simply picked up the table, tipped it up a little, and let gravity guide them into his mouth. Lonnie grabbed the food that missed.

They then came across some children hitting a hollowed-out fruit with a stick.

One child came over, and handed the stick to Lonnie.

She set upon this task with relish, smashing it open, much to the delight of the children. Lonnie, Glimmer and Bow all held Rogelio back as sweets came out of it.

Lonnie then watched from a tree as an adult villager taught some children shadow puppets. Glimmer came over to drag her away, but didn't have the heart, instead watching with her.

"So, seriously? No parties ever?" Bow asked, as he and Lonnie ate candy floss.

"What do you do on your birthday?" He inquired further.

"Huh?" Asked Lonnie.

"NO BIRTHDAYS? How is your life this sad!?" He gasped.

Lonnie suddenly gasped in turn. "What. Is. That?" She Asked, pointing.

The creature she was referring to was the strangest thing she had ever seen.

"That would be a horse." The Horse reared it's head up.

"It's… weird!" Said Lonnie.

"You Wanna go meet it?" Asked Bow.

Rogelio gave protesting growls.

"Rogelio, if it had tentacles, where would it keep them?" Asked Lonnie. Exasperated.

Rogelio pointed to his mouth.

Lonnie sighed as she went over to the horse"

Bow guided Lonnie's hand to the Horses' nose, petting it.

"See? He likes you."

Lonnie continued to pet it, fascinated by it utter weirdness.

"Bow." Said Glimmer.

"Come on, Glimmer. I know You like her too." Bow Said teasingly.

Everyone turned as explosions sounded.

Thick smoke curled into the air in the distance.

"What's going on?" Asked Bow.

When they arrived at the site, their eyes widened in horror.

Buildings had holes in them, fire and smoke was everywhere, and a Horde bot was firing energy beams.

"It's the Horde!" Yelled Glimmer.

They hid inside a house.

"Why are they here?" Asked Bow. "The people of Thaymor aren't a threat to them."

Lonnie then realised something.

"Did you say Thaymor?" Asked Lonnie.

Rogelio gulped.

"Did you know something about this?" Glimmer demanded.

"Yes! No! I mean- we thought Thaymor was a fortified outpost, not a tiny village full of nice people!"

Glimmer grabbed Lonnie's arm and dragged her outside. "Do you think that matters to them!?"

Lonnie stared at everything. She thought back to a lesson she had during her second year of training.

"Give no thought to the people in the territory you conquer. In war, hard descriptions have to be made. Besides, they are most likely rebels."

"I think I can get them to stop." She said. "Evacuate the town." She took off her poncho.

Rogelio roared in protest as Lonnie ran off.

As Lonnie ran through the town, people screamed as they ran past her. She stopped.

A Horde tank was driving past some houses.

She ran up to it.

"Hey! Stop right there!" She yelled.

The tank stopped a few millimetres from her face.

The gun hatch and the driver hatch of the tank opened, and Catra and Adora came out of them.

"Lonnie!" Yelled Adora, hugging the girl.

Catra leaped down to stand aside them.

"A-Adora? Catra?" Lonnie was bewildered. "W-What are you doing here?"

"Saving you, of course." Said Adora.

"C'mon, get in the tank". Said Catra.

Lonnie released herself from the hug. "I can't yet. The Horde needs to leave Thaymor first."

"But it's a Rebel-" began Adora.

"Village." Finished Lonnie. "A civilian village. People are getting hurt, Adora."

Adora hesitated.

"Well..." she began.

"What are you wearing?" Asked Catra.

Lonnie remembered her flower.

She threw it into the ground.

"Look, there's something you need to know…"

Rogelio rushed through the town, picking up children, rushing to a safe distance, and placing them down, beckoning them to stay there.

He saw Bow shoot a bot, and Glimmer teleport to save him from a Horde soldier's sneaky town.

He supported Glimmer as she staggered a little.

He knew one thing.

She was running out of teleports.

"They've been lying to us, Guys. The Rebellion isn't evil. I think the Horde might be."

Adora took a step back, shocked.

Catra sighed. She was thinking about speaking her mind there and then, but it might upset Adora. She might even join Lonnie! Choosing Lonnie over her…

Lonnie continued. "Everything I've seen… I can't go back. You Guys can come with me."

Adora's face hardened. "What!? You've known these people a few hours and now you'd betray everyone to join them!?"

Catra narrowed her eyes. "What happened to you?"

Lonnie Said "I'm sorry" before turning away…

And feeling a few million volts of electricity course through her body.

Lonnie collapsed, Catra aiming a stun baton at her.

"I think that's all of them!" Said Bow, as the last of the townsfolk ran for the hills.

They went to follow the people, but a skiff flew towards them.

One of the soldiers on it fired a stun baton at them, and the three ran to an alley.

"What are we gonna do?" Asked Bow.

"There's nothing we can do Bow!" Said Glimmer. "You're almost out of arrows and I'm almost out of magic!"

"You can't say that! You're Glimmer, you throw yourself into every fight, no matter how hopeless!"

Glimmer groaned. "Every decision in the last day has almost gotten us killed! My mom was right. I'm not ready for this yet!"

"No!" Said Bow. "You are not giving up right now! I'm sorry your mom doesn't see how strong you are, but that's her loss! You can do this Glimmer, and you don't have to do it alone!"

Rogelio began roaring and grunting and growling. It was clearly a speech of some sort, and though neither of the rebels could understand, it gave them yet more courage and hope.

"You're right" said Glimmer, standing up. "We need Lonnie."

Bow looked surprised. "We do!? Didn't she just sell us out to the Horde?"

"I don't think she did." Replied Glimmer. "We need to find her. I think she can help us. Just trust me, okay?"

Bow smiled, signifying that he trusted her.

They rushed to the horse from earlier, and climbed onto him, setting off to find Lonnie.

Lonnie groaned as she tried to get up. Being electrocuted hurt.

"Catra! Why'd you do that!?" Demanded Adora.

"She wasn't going to come with us!"

Lonnie groaned. "Guys…"

Catra shocked her again.

"Catra!" Yelled Adora.

"I'm sorry! It was a reflex."

Adora turned to Lonnie. "Let us take you home, please!"

Suddenly, the two girls found themselves blasted by pink energy.

Glimmer and Bow came riding over on the horse. Glimmer got off, and kneeled by Lonnie.

Bow fired a net arrow at Catra and Adora.

Catra snarled, aiming her stun baton.

Glimmer teleported away before she could fire.

"Lonnie!" Yelled Adora

Catra broke out of the net, and the pair raised their stun batons.

Bow reached for an arrow, but found he was out.

Catra jumped on him, knocking him off horsey.

Lonnie and Glimmer reappeared in an alley.

Rogelio came up, a concerned look on his face.

"Glimmer? Why did you save me?" Asked Lonnie as she set the exhausted Princess against the wall.

"We need you. We need She-ra." She took out the Sword. "I should have given this back to you in the ruin. You could have saved us and I knew that. I was stupid. And a jerk and I almost got us killed and I'm sorry!" She said tearfully.

"Don't say that. We're the Horde Soldiers." Said Lonnie, gesturing to herself and Rogelio. "Why are you trusting us now?"

Glimmer sighed. "I don't. I hope I can. Maybe? I feel like… you're here to help us.

A Horde Bot clambered up, ready to attack.

Lonnie grabbed the sword.

As the Bot charged, she chanted "For the honour of GRAYSKULL!"

Bow fell to the ground. He grabbed his Bow and used it to block Adora's stun baton attacks.

Thank you, non-conductive alloys. He thought to himself.

He threw Adora off, and kicked Catra when she tried to jump on him.

As they got up, Bow ran to Horsey.

He gasped as Horde bots, troops, and skiffs came up.

"It's been an honour fighting beside you, horsey." He said.

Suddenly, a golden light came forth.

Everyone stared as Lonnie, in her 'tall scary lady' form walked into the middle of the crowd.

She was glowing with a golden, almost divine light.

Lonnie slammed her sword Into the ground, sending out a shockwave that created a mini earthquake with the radius of a few metres.

Every vehicle within range shorted out.

As one tank that didn't short out aimed at the air, lonnie jumped up, sliced the end of the barrel off, and the soldiers inside jumped out in time before the vehicle exploded.

Every enemy that attacked found themselves defeated easily.

Glimmer came up. "Bow! Are you okay?" She Asked.

"Is that… Adora?" Bow Asked.

It's She-ra. Replied Glimmer.

The Horde troops ran for it, as fast as their legs could carry them.

Lonnie's glow flickered, and She turned back to normal.

As she looked up, she saw Catra and Adora, standing with shocked looks on their faces.

Catra narrowed her eyes as she dragged Adora away. Lonnie saw something in her eyes for a second. Was it anger? Jealousy? Whatever it was, Lonnie only saw it for a second before Catra dragged Adora away.

Bow, Rogelio and Glimmer rushed up. "You did it!" Yelled Bow.

"I… did?

"You saved us. You saved everyone." Glimmer told her.

"I… did it. I defected from the Horde…" whispered Lonnie.

Then she realised something.

"I defected from the Horde! What did I just do!?" She gasped.

That took a few hours. Before you ask, yes, Lonnie will be getting a new look, as will Rogelio, well, he might have the Poncho.

Will Adora stay with the Horde? And for how long?

How will Lonnie get along with other Princesses?

And will Bow and Glimmer learn Lizard-speak so they can understand Rogelio?

You shall see.

Also, is this the first Lonnie as She-ra fanfic on this specific fanfic sight you've seen?
