S1 E3 Act 2
The two ex-Horde Cadets, the Princess of Brightmoon, and her best friend sat in the room.
"What do you think is taking so long?" Asked Lonnie, feeling nervous for once.
"Don't worry. My Mom's the QUEEN. She can calm them down." Said Glimmer.
Suddenly, the door flew open.
A small group of people came in, wielding weapons.
"THERE THEY ARE!" They roared, pointing at Lonnie and Rogelio, looks of pure fury on their faces.
They charged. Glimmer stood in front of them. "Don't! She's-"
"You!? A Traitor!?" Snarled one member of the angry mob.
The mob charged at Glimmer, Rogelio, and Lonnie.
Bow fired sticky arrows at them.
"Go hide! I'll hold them off!" He told them.
Rogelio shook his head, roaring.
"He says he's fighting with you, no excuses!" Lonnie translated.
"Gah, Fine! Glimmer, get Lonnie out of here!" Said Bow.
"But-"
"GO!" He yelled, fighting off a gorilla-like angry mob member.
Glimmer grabbed Lonnie by the arm, and teleported them out of here.
A few seconds later, Queen Angella came in.
"ENOUGH!" She yelled, blasting the angry mob with energy bolts.
They backed off.
"Bow! Are you alright? Where's Glimmer!?" Asked Angella frantically.
"I'm fine... and Glimmer teleported Lonnie out of here."
"WHAT!?" Shouted Angella.
...
The two girls reappeared in the Whispering Woods.
"Why'd you do that!?" Demanded Lonnie.
"They would have killed us! And, and, I, I panicked!" Glimmer replied, frantically.
"You panicked!? Great! Just great!" Snapped Lonnie, throwing her hands in the air.
She looked at the Sword. "This is all your fault you useless piece of metal!" She yelled at it.
Suddenly, a neigh sounded. The Horse they had ridden to Brightmoon came up.
"Hey! What's he doing here?" Asked Lonnie.
"Did you tie him up properly?" Asked Glimmer.
"Well, not at all, really."
Lonnie went back to shaking the sword.
A beam of light shot out of the Gem, hitting the Horse, and giving him white fur, a longer mane in colours orange. On his head was a horn.
The most prominent was a pair of rainbow on the bottom and completely pink wings on his back.
Glimmer and Lonnie stared in shock.
The Horse, terrified, flew off.
Suddenly, there was the distant sound of metal clanging nearby.
The pair went towards it.
They came across a hut that was made of tiny tress, with a chimney on top. A small, shrivelled old woman came out of it, sweeping the ground with a broom.
Suddenly, she said "Did you hear something? Yes, I did too!"
She turned. "Who's there!?" She yelled.
Lonnie and Glimmer came out of the bushes. "Hey, um, sorry if we're intruding." Said Glimmer, Awkwardly.
"Ah, Mara and Serenia! It's been too long!" Said The old woman, warmly.
"Sorry, what?" Asked Lonnie.
"No time for whats, dearie! We are to make a pie today, remember?" Said the old woman, rushing inside.
The pair followed here. The inside was messy.
"Um, you've got us confused with someone else." Said Lonnie.
The old woman peered at them. "Yes, you don't know madame Razz, do you? You're not quite the same. This is the wrong time for my Mara, isn't it? Now you've got the Sword instead." She said, as she shoved a fan, a Horde Soldier's helmet, and a spatula into a basket.
"Wait, you know about the sword!?" Lonnie asked.
"Never mind! You're here now and there's berries to be picked!" Said Razz, passing them baskets and walking out.
"Hey, wait!" Said Lonnie rushing out, with Glimmer in hot pursuit.
...
"So... Shadow Weaver gave you some of her power?" Asked Catra.
"Yeah, I guess." Said Adora, as she held the Blade in her Hand. They stood in the training room, along with Kyle.
"So, what's it called?" Asked Kyle.
"Shadow Weaver called it..." She paused for dramatic effect. "The Darksteel."
"Wow..." Breathed Kyle. "The Darksteel..."
Catra laughed. "HA-HAHAHAHAHAHA-HAAAA! Trust Shadow Weaver to name it something stupid!" She mocked.
Adora went red. "It is not a stupid name!" She snapped.
"It is too! Trust Shadow Weaver to- to-" She noticed Kyle's terrified face, and the other teens standing to attention.
"She's right behind me, isn't she?"
She turned. The Witch was indeed behind her. Catra saluted with an awkward grin.
Shadow Weaver cursed inwardly. She could not do anything not, not in front of Adora.
"Adora, why don't you demonstrate your weapon's power?" She snapped her fingers, and a Boss bot rose out of the floor.
Catra and Kyle stepped back. Adora swung the Blade, and the arc of energy reached it in seconds.
"Woah" Said Kyle.
Something passed over Catra's face. Jealousy. It was gone as soon as Adora turned to her.
"Nice! You could defeat a Princess with that." Said Catra.
"Yeah, I guess I could." Said Adora.
"You are destined for great things, Adora." Said Shadow Weaver.
Adora stared at the Blade, not knowing what to think.
"Now, allow me to present you..." Shadow Weaver led Adora by the arm. "To Lord Hordak Himself..."
...
Lonnie, Glimmer, and Razz arrived at the first ones' temple sight. Razz suddenly did something unexpected.
She had scaled the first one's temple, falling and almost killing herself. Lonnie jumped to save her.
"Oh, dearie me, that was quite the tumble, eh?" Said Razz.
They had all looked up. A hologram had come up of some dots in the sky.
"Stars?" Asked Lonnie.
"Oh, we used to come here and look at the stars, do you remember Mara? They're all gone now. What happened to the stars?"
"I- I know all this. I don't know how or why." Lonnie clutched the sides of her head.
She suddenly had those visions again.
Of Light hope...
And Etheria...
Bright moon...
A comet hitting a desert...
The First ones' temple in it's Prime...
A Purple swirling energy thing...
From the inside of a crib, she saw stars, and planets, and heard a baby giggle.
She looked at Razz. "What's happening to me?"
Razz just ate berries.
"PLEASE!" Begged Lonnie. "Do you know ANYTHING about me or the Sword?"
"Don't ask Silly Questions, Mara! You still haven't picked any berries!" Said Razz, dragging Lonnie off.
As they walked through the forest, Lonnie kept asking questions, with Glimmer joining in.
"Look, I left my life behind looking for answers about myself!" Said Lonnie.
"Can you help us!?" Asked Glimmer.
"What am I supposed to do?" Asked Lonnie.
"Hahaha! How should Madame Razz know what you should do?" Asked Razz.
"Can you help me AT ALL!?" Demanded Lonnie.
Razz suddenly stopped, holding out her broom to stop Glimmer and Lonnie.
In front of them was what was once part of the woods, but was now a wasteland. Horde tanks were strawn here and there, abandoned by their drivers.
Lonnie and Glimmer stared as they walked through it. It was Horrible. They looked at Razz.
"Ah, it's the same old story, dearie." Said Madame Razz, sadly. "Wicked people destroy what they cannot control."
"But, why haven't they been stopped!?" Asked Lonnie.
"Once the princesses would have protected us, but these days, they- they stay in their castles, protecting only their own lands. Meanwhile, the Horde Creeps ever closer."
Glimmer nodded. "After- after my dad died fighting, the Alliance that was meant to protect Etheria Broke up. They- they didn't see any more point in fighting."
Razz looked at them both. "Your very like my Mara and Serenia, you know? Mara, Brave, Loyal, but afraid. Serenia, willing to keep fighting, but misses her lost loved ones so."
Lonnie and Glimmer just stared at Razz. They had thought she was Crazy and Senile, but was that just an act?
"No-one is going to make this easy, for you dearies. Stop waiting for someone to tell you what the right thing to do is. You're smart and brave girls. What do you think?" She pointed at them.
"I think... the Horde are in the Wrong." Said Lonnie.
"I think... The Princess Alliance needs to be united again." Said Glimmer.
Suddenly, there was the sound of a Horse neighing.
"Horsey." Said Lonnie, rushing to the sound.
"Huh?" Said Razz.
...
Horsey was being bound with rope by some Horde Soldiers, outside a Horde Base.
Lonnie, Glimmer, and Razz Watched from above as they threw a net on him.
Lonnie looked at the Sword.
"I have a plan." She told Glimmer and Razz.
When she had finished explaining it, they nodded, and Glimmer grabbed Razz and teleported them to where they were supposed to be.
She brought the Gem up to her mouth. "For the Honour of Grayskull." She said, softly.
