Nagisano: ~Around the Lakeside~!

Chapter 1: The May Flower Blooms

Aoi Yagyuu x Kyle (OC)

In the hills of Georgia, a leafblower like sound could be heard in the distance. The noise was no other than a young man in his loud Champagne RX-7 Convertible with a small boy in the passenger seat. He had a blank expression on his face as he rowed the gears in his car. He was wearing tan cargo shorts, a plain burgundy short sleeve shirt, and brown flips flops. He had blue eyes and brown hair.

Kyle was heading to the place where his family loves to go on the lakeside. The adults, primarily to drink, for the teens, to eat and hang out. His family rode on the boat to the marina because it's more fun than going by car. Him, on the other hand, drove there with his little cousin because the service was kind of slow. Upon pulling up, Kyle's little cousin, Mark, points at a specific car.

"That car is so cool! Can we park beside it?"

Diverting his eyes to where the young boy was pointing, there was a Pearl white Integra. Seeing that there was an empty space, he parked his car next to the Integra. They get out and Kyle locks the car and they head to the outdoor dining area.

Upon walking to the table where his family was, Kyle saw only 3 of his cousins are there. He sat down between Mark and Mia. He ordered his usual then decide to walk around the marina since he knew that it would be a while before the food arrived.

"I walked this same place for years, nothing has changed at all except for the people around me. As I've grown, I have also come to realize that I enjoy being alone. Being around others is nice too but I prefer alone time, which I why I probably don't have a Girlfriend. "

Honestly, the young man had a thirst for love but also wanted to be alone.

Lifting his eyes from the path he was walking, he saw someone standing on the boat dock in front of the marina. Two girls were sitting near the end of the dock, one with blonde hair in twin tails in a black and white lolita dress with spaghetti straps. She was also wearing a choker, shoes, and stockings that contrasted beautifully with her dress. The other girl had short purple hair while wearing a white sundress. Being the person that he was, always looking out for others, he walked over to the two girls and spoke softly. "You two okay?" Kyle asked.

Both girls lifted their heads up and faced the boy. He could feel a solemn air amid them. The two girls smiled at him and the blonde said, "Yeah, we are just chilling. We are new here that's all."

Kyle was then intrigued, he had never seen such beautiful girls in town before. "Are y'all new here? Where are ya'll from?" He asked.

"Okinawa, Japan!' the blonde girl replied.

Kyle was shocked, "Holy cow, ya'll are a long way from home!"

"Yeah, we are here because COVID-19 is so bad and my dad thought it would be best for my sister and I to stay here for a while. " said the blonde girl.

"Also I never asked, what are your names?" said Kyle.

The blonde spoke first, "My name is Aoi Yagyuu!" That was followed by the purple haired girl quietly saying, "Satomi Yagyuu."

After hearing the girls introduce themselves, he introduced himself. "My name is Kyle!" he said with enthusiasm.

Aoi held her hand out to Kyle, and he shook it. After that, Satomi quietly held her had out to him as well, he shook it also.

Afterwards, the three decided to sit down beside the lake. As Kyle sat down, Aoi was secretly checking him out. She admired his tan skin, his blue eyes, and his fluffy brown hair. While doing so, she asked him "By the way, are you from here?"

After hearing this, he replied, "Yeah, my grandparents live here."

Aoi adds to that, "I see, so you come here often?"

"I come here whenever I can, there are too many friggin idiots at school!" Kyle replied.

Upon hearing this, Aoi lost it and died laughing. Even a chuckle managed to come from Satomi. This made Kyle very happy. For the first time in a while, he made a girl genuinely laugh.

The moment was disturbed when a ding came from his pocket. He pulled out his cell phone to see a text from his cousin, Mia. The message read, "Food's here, come eat cuz."

Kyle was disappointed, he wanted to spend more time with the girls. "My food is here so I gotta go eat with my family" Kyle said, getting up. "How long will ya'll be here," He asked.

The girls looked at each other for a moment and nodded. Satomi spoke up, "We can stay until you finish eating. Aoi wants lemonade and I am going to get iced coffee."

Kyle laughed, "You don't have to do that for me." While slightly smiling.

Aoi shook her head, "I- I mean, We want to though, it's the polite thing to do." She stammered over her words.

Personally, Kyle thought it was kinda cute. He smiled and replied to them, "I appreciate your kindness, I'll try not to take too long!"

Aoi stammered once more, "No, no it's fine, we will be waiting at the outside tables."

Satomi cut in, "You are being very strange, sister."

'No I'm not!' Exclaimed Aoi.

Kyle cut them off before an argument could start, "Alrighty I'll see you girls in a few." He waved at them as he walked towards his family, which also just so happened to be at the outside tables. He sat down and Mia immediately asked, "And where have you been, Kyle~?"

After hearing this, Kyle stammered, "Nowhere, just beside the dock. That's all."

Hearing him stammer, Mia only gave a bigger grin. "You found some girls, didn't you?" She said smugly.

Kyle sighed and gave in. "Yes I did, and I was hanging out with them." he said quietly so only Mia could hear him.

Mia smiled softly at Kyle after he finally answered. 'That's good. Also you got worked up over nothing because I already knew."

"It's whatever cuz, I don't care that you knew," Kyle replied before started eating his wings.

As he ate, Kyle thought back to the Yagyuu sisters. He thought about Satomi, about how she was quiet, but a very mysterious maiden. But more than that, he thought about Aoi. He thought about how she was trying to act like a little lady. As he was, the thought of how pretty she was struck him. Her shiny blonde twin tail hair, her sparkling purple eyes, and her slim figure. Before he knew it, he was zoned out with Aoi in his mind.

As soon as Kyle finished eating, he took a swig of tea and thanked Mia for the food.

"You're always welcome cuzzo, have fun with your girls!" She replied, winking at him.

After that, walked over to the table that Aoi and Satomi were sitting at. When he said down, the girls both smiled upon him arriving. Especially Aoi, who had he biggest smile of the two.

"Guess who's back?" said Kyle, smiling at the girls.

"Hiii~!" Aoi said sweetly.

"So how long are you two staying here?" Kyle asked. Looking at the time on his phone, he saw that it was getting late. It was already 10:30PM.

"We can hang out tomorrow if you'd like." Satomi said quietly, with a blank expression on her face.

"Sure!" replied Kyle replied.

"I'll see you tomorrow, Kyle, good fuck!" Aoi screamed loudly while waving at him.

Hearing this, Satomi looked at her sister and said, "Really Aoi?"

As Kyle died laughing, Aoi muttered, "Ah shit, here we go again." Upon saying this, Aoi runs to the other side of the marina out of embarrassment.

"I'm gonna go after her," says Kyle.

"Okay, I'll follow once you calm her down," said Satomi softly.

Hearing this, Kyle follows after the blonde girl.

When they reach the bridge beside the road, Kyle walks beside Aoi. "Hey, everyone makes mistakes, Aoi," he said.

"You don't understand, I don't always do this," Aoi said, her voice squeaking. This was followed by soft sobs.

"People at home see me as a tomboy, but I want to be seen as a lady. I didn't want you to s-see that s-side of m-me." Aoi said while sobbing. Tears had now started to roll down her cheeks.

As the blonde girl cried, Kyle wrapped her up in a hug. and pulled her close. After holding her tight for a few minutes, he finally spoke.

"Aoi, I can relate to you. Ever since elementary school people have always thought I was childish. What matter is that you are yourself, fuck what everyone else thinks. All you're doing is putting yourself in pain by being something you're not."

Aoi was speechless. "Kyle..." came out of her mouth, surprised by what she was hearing.

He only continued, "It's okay to want to change, but being something you're not just gives you pain. I'm not gonna judge you on what others think of you, Aoi."

Kyle's words hit Aoi like a giant wave. She only cried more in his arms. Kyle only held her tighter.

After Aoi sobbed in Kyle's arms for what seemed like an eternity, her crying died down.

"You okay, Aoi?" Kyle asked.

"Yeah, I just need to head home soon. It has gotten really late," Aoi replied.

"Before that though, someone wants to apologize." added Kyle.

After saying this, Satomi appears from behind Kyle.

She walked to her older sister slowly and hugged her. "I guess I have a lot to work on, don't I?" Satomi said quietly.

"It's not your fault, Satomi." Aoi replied.

"Yes it is. I wanna be a better sister for you. Can you forgive me, Aoi?" Satomi said back to Aoi.

'Of course I can, I love you, Satomi," Aoi said with a tear rolling down her eye.

"I love you too, Aoi." Satomi said quietly, trying to hide the fact she was abou to cry.

Quietly, the two sisters bonded in each other's arms. Even after the marina was closed, a memory was still being made.

After a few minutes of shedded tears, Satomi decided to head home. Aoi on the other hand, decided to stay and hang out with Kyle. Satomi knew how much of a crush her sister had on Kyle as it was quite obvious.

Kyle heard a VTEC engine start and saw the Integra leave the marina and noticed Satomi was driving it. "I didn't know you and Satomi had an Integra!" He said to Aoi.

"It's not our car, it belongs to my dad's friend, Stefani, the lady we are saying with.

"Ah I gotcha" Kyle replied. Then he noticed Aoi was blushing slightly.

"What's up, something wrong?" he asked. "No no I'm just hot that's all." Aoi replied. Hearing how forced that sounded, Kyle rolled his eyes. "Look, you don't have to hold back, you can tell me if something is wrong. Okay?" he said.

Aoi sighed and while blushing harder, she asked "Can I come over to your place? I know it's late but I'd like to talk for a while."

Kyle was surprised but he smiled at her and nodded. After that, the two headed to the parking lot and got in his car. "This car is so cool!" Aoi said with a bright expression. Kyle smiled and said, "It ain't much, but it's honest work." He then started the car and put it in first gear.

Most of the ride was filled with silence. Out of the corner of his eye, Kyle could see Aoi starring at the window with a blank expression. He thought that she wanted to be unbothered for a bit so he continued driving.

"Kyle you friggin moron, can you not remember who I am? I wore this dress for you, Have you not noticed my advances?"

When they arrived to the house, Kyle pulled the E-brake a shut the car off. He and Aoi then went inside his room at his grandma's house. After sitting beside each other on the bed, Aoi spoke to him in a serious tone. "Do you know why I wanted to come over?"

Kyle was surprised by this question. "Not really," he replied. Aoi looked as if she wasn't satisfied with this answer. "Hold on a second," Aoi told him, as she pulled her phone out of one of the pockets on her dress. After scrolling through her photos, she tapped on one and showed it to Kyle. "Do you remember this day?" Kyle looked at the photo and his eyes widened.

In the photo was a young Kyle and Aoi holding hands at a Fourth of July parade from many years ago. "Wait, you're kidding, right?" he stammered. Aoi shook her head in response.

Immediately after, Kyle hugged Aoi tightly. "I can't believe it! I finally found you!" Aoi smiled and hugged Kyle back. After they released each other, Aoi finally spoke. "Kyle... do you have a girlfriend..?"

"Nah, my ex left me for someone on a cruise a few years ago," he told her. Aoi looked at him with a frown. "She didn't deserve you. When I see her, I'll beat the cinnamon toasted heck out of her!" She said. Kyle laughed and said "You don't have to go that far but I appreciated it." Aoi let out a little chuckle and hugged him.

I think I can do it, I think now is the best time to confess to Aoi. She has waited long enough for me.

Kyle opened his mouth to speak but Aoi cut him off, saying softly, "Oh by the way, one more thing." With her lips puckered and half lidded eyes, she pulled Kyle's face towards hers, kissing him on the lips. Kyle's face was redder than the hot wings he demolished at dinner. After seeing his face, Aoi leaned back. "Did you not like it?" she asked, frowning.

"I loved it. You just took me off guard. You don't know glad I am to have you back. I seriously missed you and I don't ever want you to go again!" He blurted out. Aoi's eyes widened at that. "More than that, I love you Aoi, I love you so much!" He said, looking her in the eyes.

"Would you really date me, even though I live halfway across the world?" Aoi asked.

"Aoi, I do not give a Natty Light hell about where you live. I'd be honored to date you and love you with all my heart."

Before she could say anything, Kyle put her hand under her chin, pulling her face to his. The dimly lit room made her eyes even more inviting. He smiled at her, and the two locked lips.

After a long makeout session, Aoi texted Satomi that she would be spending the night with Kyle. Her sister simply replied, "Not surprised, have fun." with a lenny face. Aoi giggled seeing her text.

After that, Kyle got up and turned the lights off. "Let's get some sleep, I'm gonna have a heck of a time explaining to my family that I finally have a loving girlfriend." Kyle said softly. Kyle laid down on the bed and Aoi laid her head on his heart and smiled. Kyle smiled as well, he finally got what he had dreamed of for as long as he can remember: a loving girlfriend to spend the summer with.
