Dragon Mishap

"Where's Butch?" Meghan asked as their group gathered in Meghan's room at the inn.

Kyle shrugged "He mentioned something of needing to put his plan in motion and left, doubt it'll work" he pulled out blueprint and showed one to the others "With this here we can trap the lich and force holy water into him-"

"Or I can just use my sword" Kyouya said "I can one shot dragons with it so it should deal with him so long as you keep him in place"

"Hmm. Could work with my plan. I'm going to transform myself into someone with a family resemblance to a friend he made here called Wao, so long as the fox girl doesn't show up I should be able to stun him-"

The door slammed open, everyone turned to it and saw Butch standing in the doorway.

Meghan growled "Knock and keep it down, idiot. We're discussing our plans here"

"Went to look at the school, school's gone along with the money I spent on a succubus" Butch as he trudged and fell onto the bed Meghan slept in.

Kyouya gave Butch a disgusted look while Meghan sighed "We don't want to hear about you paying a- Wait, what do you mean the school is gone?"

"I mean it's gone" Butch didn't budge from the bed "Went to get a good look at the place, see if I could get a tour of the thing and the building wasn't there anymore"

Kyle gave a confused look "How can a building disappear overnight?" his eyes widened as he remembered the earlier briefing "He can control bone, did he dismantle the school?"

Shadow shook their head, the little horse not believing such a thing happened.

"Well, looks like we're doing recon again. We slip up and try to find Izuku or his students, or at least someone knowing something"

With those words the Hero Killers set off to gather info and around midday gathered at the guild to go over what they had found, not much except for a lovely shop owner who knows what happened to the school.

Using Meghan's crystal ball she was able to show the Hero Killers, along with everyone at the Guild at the time, what happened.

The stunned silence was shared by everyone, Luna seemed to double over in despair while Wao looked saddened. The group of Hero Killers left the Guild Hall just as they heard someone cheer out that Izuku was gone before a hard smack followed closely after.

"Welp, we're screwed" Butch said as he looked over the group as they stood in the middle of Axel "Any ideas on how to catch them, what about you horsey?"

Shadow shook their head as they laid flat on the ground, Kyle was angrily muttering something.

Kyouya walked forward to stand in front of his peers."Don't lose heart, they have to stop eventually so if we chase them-"

"With no idea where we're going. Not knowing what supplies we need or how long they can last" Meghan growled a little as she walked off from the group "Meet me at Axel's East Gate in an hour, pack whatever you need for a week long trip" She turned to her group and gave them a knowing smile "We're going dragon taming"

"There's a castle filled with dragons THIS close to Axel!"

"Yes Kyouya, and I swear if you use that 'dragon slaying' sword of yours your going to get us and possibly an entire world screwed" Meghan said as Shadow pulled the wagon they were all riding on, the plan was to get a few horses to pull the thing before Shadow pulled out their surprising reserves of strength "When we get there we MUST NOT harm a single dragon there, we need to make allies with them to have any chance of catching up to the undead kid who pulled off a Richard Trevithick"

"So he has a moving school, so what. Doesn't count as him inventing full scale train travel" Kyle muttered.

"So, diplomacy then?" Butch asked as he kept an eye on for anything around them, carefully holding the wooden crossbow gun etched with runes Kyle gave him.

They came to a stone bridge leading to a small island with no other method of crossing, on top of the island were numerous buildings with a large castle at the uppermost height with a floating island near it.

"Welp, there it is. Dragon Castle" Meghan turned to her team "All we got to do is be respectful and don't do anything stupid"

1 hour later…

Meghan threw herself to the ground to dodge the RAGING Dragon flying overhead, she looked over to the unconscious form of Kyle slung over her shoulder "If we live through this, I will kill you"

Everything was going so well, met some little dragons and got to meet with their five leaders. Then one comment on battles to prove their worth and everything went downhill, a hill that exploded when Kyle said they shouldn't need a test since their little group of misfits were the same as the dragon's dead king.

Kyouya used his blade to block the first attack of the Great dragons and counter attacked to hit it directly, sadly that wasn't enough to take it down.

"Damn it! Help me here!" Butch screamed as he ran through an old wall, charging through it while little dragons his equaling his height slashed at him.

Kyouya held up a shield to protect himself against a fairly small dragon, his sword long lost during their brief encounter with the Great Dragons "Look, I built my stats around my sword. If I had even an ordinary one-"

"THERE ARE SEVERAL ON THE WALLS!" Butch screamed as he threw off the dragons dog piling him and threw one like a bowling ball into a group of them.

"THEY'RE ALL ONE HANDED! I NEED TWO, OR ONE AND A HALF!" Kyouya screamed before he was thrown onto his back, the dragon above him ready to release a blast of fire when Meghan put a cloth over the Dragon's nose. Kyouya watched as the Dragon fell asleep in front of him, he didn't notice Meghan reach for him until she dragged him to his feet.

"Run before we're killed in any number of ways by these guys!" Meghan threw Kyle over to a waiting Butch as they ran from building to building to try getting out of sight and keep from being overruned.

"Quick, turn left over there and we should be close to the gate!"

"Eh, left from the giant Christmas tree or the library?"

"Left from the cooking stadium and between the idol stage but before the golden statue of a bear"

*Horse noises!*

The group glance behind them to see Shadow dressed in frilly clothes with Kyouya's sword floating behind it, behind Shadow were several Dragons of all shapes and colors.

"Please tell me the Ghost Dragon Girl that wants to turn us into dolls isn't behind us" Butch said as fear seemed to make them go faster, even the undead "Well, say something!"

"You won't like anything I say" Meghan said before a flash of light appeared in the sky, they were able to just make it to their wagon with Shadow pulling them when a laser shot down towards them.

The fled for several miles before they were sure the Dragon's weren't following them, callposing in an empty field the party breathed a sigh of relief. Moments before a blast of wind sent them tumbling acrossing the plain.

Several green Dragon snickered before heading home. The Hero Killers groaned as they picked themselves up, the now conscious Kyle looked around before asking something that he thought of before the dragon lady knocked "Isn't there some teleportation spell one of us can learn? Or at least know someone who does?"

"The succubus I hired to distract the kid could, but said it was one person only" Butch said as he picked himself back up, shaking his helmet to get his skull comfortable.

"Okay, was planning to use this later but as things are playing out we need it now" Meghan turned to her peers "We're going to learn limited materialization of the soul, we got a Dragon King to revive!"

Elsewhere…

Izuku blushed madly at the succubus who somehow sneak into his school as she was bound to a nearby wall with pieces of bone acting as shackles.

Chris's eye twitch "Okay, why is a succubus here?"

Izuku turned to his students and scratched his cheek "Well, someone sent her here to give me. Um" Izuku stuttered for a moment as he remembered what the succubus told him "pleasant dreams. though, she'll be staying with us for a while as a new teacher"

The succubus smiled "Happy to meet you all, even though you've caught me in such a compromising position" she pulled at the restraints to show they were on tight "I'm Mari and I'll be teaching magic AND how to deal with charms"

Chris turned to Izuku and looked him over to make sure he wasn't under any magic, seeing nothing she looked into the eyes of the heroic teenage lich "Why?"

"She reminded me of one the Heroes who taught me" Izuku said. Feeling like his answer just opened up more questions.
