CHAPTER 7 - FIRE

'That little liar,' Susan Bones laughed, sitting down at the library table with Harry, Hermione and Luna. 'Who did she think she was impressing with that story anyway?'

'Well, us actually,' Hannah pointed out, though she was clearly also amused, 'and it did work until we found out it was a lie.'

The five of them sat in a corner table at the library, Harry had already cast the Muffliato spell he'd learned from his potions textbook around them. They were meeting so Harry could update everyone on where they were at, or where Harry was at, with the four remaining witches he needed. Harry also wanted to inform Hermione and Luna that the two Hufflepuffs were now in the know.

'Oh, sorry girls,' Hermione said as they sat down. 'We're actually talking about something private.'

'Relax, Hermione,' Harry waved her off, 'I invited them. They know the gist of everything.'

'What?!' Hermione squeaked. 'Harry you can't just go telling everyone! What if someone bad finds out and tells one of those Death Eater spawn?'

'Well I sort of let it slip to them accidentally,' Harry admitted, scratching his chin, 'but I'm glad I did. I trust them completely.'

Hermione gave the two girls searching looks but they hardly noticed as they beamed at Harry.

'What were you talking about when you sat down?' Luna asked in an almost uncaring voice.

'Megan Jones,' Susan said, smirking. 'Great girl and all that. Came up with this story of how she shagged an international Quidditch player when she visited her Aunt Gwenog last summer.'

'As it turns out, she's not shagged anyone though, has she?' Hannah put in, grinning. 'We do think she's a good candidate for you though.'

'What type is she?' Hermione asked, eyeing Hannah curiously.

'Well first,' Harry interrupted, 'I should tell you that Susan wants to help, so she'll be the Fire type, and that Hannah is more hesitant about it. So they're helping me find more Earth options from Hufflepuff.'

Hermione sat up a little straighter, looking confused and maybe a little hurt.

'B - but Harry,' she sputtered, 'I thought I was going to be your Earth.'

'You still want to be?' Harry asked seriously, to which she nodded enthusiastically. 'Are you sure? To be honest I got the impression you weren't actually interested, I don't want to push you into this. Then there's you taking Ron to Slughorn's party.'

Hermione squirmed in her seat and turned a little pink then looked sharply back to Harry.

'Wait,' she said suddenly, 'is that why you stopped?'

'Stopped what?' Harry asked curiously.

'You know,' Hermione waved a hand between the two of them, 'flirting with me and all that.'

'Er, yeah actually,' Harry said, running a hand through his hair. 'I figured if you were interested in Ron then I shouldn't get in the way.'

Hermione didn't say anything in response, she just looked down at her lap in a pensive silence. Harry wasn't sure where she and Ron stood at the moment, though he knew Ron had been colder toward her since he and Harry caught Ginny and Dean snogging in the passageway. Harry had told him repeatedly he's being stupid for worrying about how Hermione may have snogged Victor Krum two years ago, but he was stubbornly angry about it, taking it out on Hermione silently, much to the girl's bewilderment. They had been uncharacteristically civil with each other since they decided to go to Slughorn's together, Harry just hoped his friend pulled his red-haired head out of his arse quickly before he botched things up for himself.

'Anyway,' Hannah said, eyeing Hermione suspiciously, 'Megan is Earth of course, and we think you could get her into bed rather easily. I wouldn't tell her the details though; she can be a bit of a gossip.'

'That's fine,' Harry said in understanding. 'I have Herbology with her. I'll start there.'

'Or just join us for lunch again,' Susan offered. 'We'll make sure to sit with her.'

Harry nodded then turned his attention to Luna who spoke up.

'When will you be having sex with Harry?' she asked Susan bluntly.

'T - tonight actually,' a red faced Susan said. 'After this meeting.'

'You're going to love it,' Luna said dreamily. 'He's quite a good lover. Can I watch?'

'What?!' Susan squeaked.

'Luna,' Harry chided humorously, 'not everyone's as kinky as you are.'

'Kinky?' Hannah asked curiously.

'She just likes to try different things,' Harry shrugged.

'Yes,' Luna said dreamily, 'it is quite fun to experiment with Harry. You learn a lot about each other when you do.'

'I'll keep that in mind,' murmured Susan.

While they were talking, Hannah cast the Soul-Seeing spell on her eyes.

'So you're the Nature one then?' she asked Luna which the girl affirmed. 'Who are your others? You never told us their names.'

'Katie Bell is his Wind type, already marked,' Hermione cut in, reading an unrolled piece of parchment. 'Nymphadora Tonks is his Light.'

'Sounds so romantic when you say it that way,' Harry said dryly.

Hermione just gave him a tight smile before she continued.

'If Susan will be his Fire,' she continued, causing Susan to giggle girlishly, 'then that just leaves his Water and Dark prospects.'

Harry noted the omission of Earth but didn't mention it.

'Who are they?' Hannah queried. 'Harry said he was getting close with Water, at least.'

'You are?' Hermione asked curiously. 'Sue Li?'

'Tracey Davis,' Luna put in. 'They've been spending quite a bit of time in the Room of Requirement together.'

'Really?' Hermione said, surprised. 'Why didn't you tell me any of this?'

'Luna likes to hear about it,' Harry shrugged. 'Gets her excited.'

'A Slytherin, huh?' Hannah said thoughtfully. 'What about Dark?'

'Daphne Greengrass,' Harry explained. 'Just getting friendly with her though. Haven't so much as kissed her. Tracey is trying to get her to join us though.'

'That would be something to watch,' Luna said airily.

'Yeah it would,' Susan agreed huskily, earning strange looks from Hannah and Hermione.

Realizing what she'd just said she shook herself and mumbled something that sounded like, 'Just thought it might be interesting.'

'Who do you have if Daphne doesn't work out?' Hannah asked, leaning in to read Hermione's parchment but scrunched up her face, confused.

Hermione tapped the paper with her wand then tapped Hannah, repeating the process for Susan.

'Lisa Turpin?' Hannah said as she became able to read it. 'Gotten anywhere with her at all?'

'No,' Harry said, 'and to be honest I don't have any intention to. She hasn't been the nicest of people to Luna, so I can't say I'm a big fan of hers.'

Susan looked at Luna sadly and seemed to make a decision.

'I know we haven't talked much, even in the DA,' she said to the fifth year, extending her hand, 'but how would you like to be friends?'

Luna beamed at the girl, her eyes becoming a fraction wider.

'I would like that very much,' she said, shaking her hand. 'Is this how someone usually makes friends?'

'No,' Hannah snorted, 'Susan's just a little weird, is all. That's why I love her.'

At Hannah's declaration and the tight hug she gave to her eye-rolling best friend, Luna regarded Susan with a look Harry had seen many times before. He had to suppress a chuckle; it seemed Susan was in Luna's sights in a completely different way than just mere friendship.

'Well now that's done,' Harry said, standing up and reaching for Susan's hand, 'I believe we have a date.'

Susan took the proffered hand and let him pull her to her feet, smiling all the way.

'Just don't stay out too late, Harry,' Hermione warned. 'You're playing Slytherin in the morning.'

Harry waved over his shoulder as he led Susan out of the library by the hand. Luna left a few moments later, saying she fancied a walk around the grounds.

Harry never saw the serious look Hannah gave Hermione. Nor the way Hermione bit her lip as she listened to what Hannah had to say.

Harry and Susan sat half clothed on a bed in the Room of Requirement, steadily making out. Harry was undressing her slowly, whispering reassurance, trying to keep her as comfortable as possible. It was incredibly obvious that Susan was very nervous, not just for the act itself but to show her body to a boy for the first time, and to Harry Potter no less.

'You're beautiful, Susan,' Harry said reassuringly as he removed her bra and she quickly covered herself.

'No I'm not,' Susan said, her voice quivering, 'I'm too fat.'

'Oh shut up,' Harry said laughing. 'You're definitely not fat.'

Harry slid behind her and ran his hands slowly up her soft stomach.

'If I were to describe your body I'd call it erotic,' he whispered into her ear, 'sexy, desirable, curvy,' he practically moaned the last word as he slid his hands under her arms and massaged her large breasts.

'Do you know how many Hogwarts boys have fantasized about doing what I'm doing right now?' he continued huskily, one of his hands dropping to dip under her skirt but over her knickers. 'I've seen them looking at you, I've heard them talk about you. They want you, but they can't have you, not right now at least. Right now you're mine.'

Susan's arms dropped to her sides, her expression became vacant, her breathing heavy and ragged.

Harry slipped his hand under her knickers and her whole world shook. She let out a long hoarse moan and she was putty in his hands. She knew he was right at that moment, but she also knew that it went beyond right now as he turned her around and kissed her possessively. She was his. And she never wanted to stop being his.

Susan was more of a passive participant throughout the experience. She was so thoroughly flustered and helpless under his ministrations that she could do little more than cry out his name and beg him not to stop. The moment he entered her for the first time she saw stars. Any pain was a distant feeling that hardly registered at all, if it was even there. Her mind swam like she was under a drug, a drug named Harry Potter.

She was so fully consumed and overwhelmed by her pleasure and by the situation that her bodies' reactions were merely instinctual. She could hardly think at all because of how distracted he was making her. Every movement, every touch amplified, sending tingles to her brain that had her a drooling mess by the time Harry emptied himself inside of her and his chest glowed a bright red.

Even after he left her feeling empty and lay down beside her, watching with that damn stupid sexy lopsided grin, it still took her a while to recover herself enough to form a coherent sentence.

'That was bloody amazing,' she murmured finally.

'You seemed rather … overwhelmed,' Harry agreed, still grinning.

'Was it good for you?' she asked self-consciously.

'Might've been the hottest thing I've ever seen to be honest,' he said, pulling her into a cuddle.

Susan lay on his chest and let out a content sigh. Then she caught the shock of red on his chest to the right of the white lettering.

'Matilda,' she read, tracing her fingers along the newest tattoo. 'That's my soul's name?'

'I guess it is,' Harry said, smiling at the redhead. 'Up for another round?'

Susan looked at him wide eyed, then down to his lap and chuckled weakly. Then, gritting her teeth in determination, she climbed on top of him.

'This time is going to be different,' she said defiantly, lining up the necessary parts and glaring at him playfully. 'I'm the one that's gonna be in control.'

Harry's eyebrows rose past his hair line before he smirked evilly at her. 'Sounds like a challenge to me.'

'Maybe a little,' Susan grinned, kissing him.

Of course, Harry was far more experienced than his auburn haired lover at this point in time. Susan had no idea how handily she could be dominated with Harry underneath her. And she loved every second of it … and so did he.
