When the trio of dragons were ready to leave, Draco had nailed down flying as though he was born to do it. Shocking, isn't it? After three long hours of flying in silence, very awkward really, the trio saw a castle wall in the distance.

"Hey!" Draco called out to the two he was travelling with. "I think I see it!"

"Good eye Draco!" Spyro replies. "Welcome to Warfang!"

As the trio of dragons flew over the dragon city they could hear a lot of gossip as moles, cheetahs, and surprisingly dragons (though very few) watched as they flew overhead. From what they could make out it was entirely about the savior of the dragon realms finally returning home. The trio then found themselves looking at a giant castle of sorts. Definitely Warfang's dragon temple. Spyro and Cynder then landed on an open platform leading to the temple's front doors.

As the two were about to head in, they suddenly remembered that Draco doesn't know how to land, something that was confirmed more when they heard the said dragon's cries of worry as he started gilding down at a very fast pace. Before he impacted into the ground, the red dragon evened out above the platform, upon which he had his feet touch the ground before running on it, making a perfect, yet sloppy landing, of which Spyro and Cynder couldn't help but stare in shock at.

"Heh, beginners luck?" Draco said, breathing heavily as if he were out of breath. Spyro shook out of his shock first before replying.

"I'll say," the purple dragon said. "I crashed the first time I tried to land."

After Cynder was freed from her shock, the three dragons then walked to the front door, Spyro placing a paw against it and proceeded to open it. "Well, after all this time it's nice to finally be…" The dragon then paused in his speech upon looking at what was inside the temple, or more accurately, who. Seven dragons around the same age as the three in the doorway were now staring at them in shock. "...home?"

"Is that, the purple dragon?" one of them asked.

"Yeah I think it is!" said another.

"Should we tell the masters?" asked one more.

"Tell us what?" came a very familiar voice. The owner was an older green dragon with a beige underbelly and his horns curled down. It was the guardian of earth, Terrador, and he was quite shocked and happy to see them. "Spyro? Cynder? You have returned?"

"...Yeah, we have," Spyro said, his confusion evident. "Not to be rude, but what's with all the other dragons?"

"Ah, yes. You probably would wonder about that," he began. Before he continued, Terrador then took notice of the new dragon in the room. "Hello, who might you be?"

Draco realising he was asked the question responded. "Oh! Uh… I'm Draco!"

Terrador then stared at him for a minute as if puzzled about something, but merely shook his head afterward brushing off whatever it was he was thinking. "Well, welcome to the Dragon Academy young Draco!"

"Dragon Academy?" Spyro questioned.

"Oh, right! I have some explaining to do!" the earth guardian stated before turning and walked back where he came from. After turning his head to make sure they were following, which they were, he then gave the explanation. "After you saved the Dragon Realms from the Dark Master's tyranny, many dragons and their families came out of hiding. Once they had settled down here in Warfang, we learned that some of the young ones had yet to learn of mastering their abilities, so we took it upon ourselves and turned this temple into a school for young dragons to train and hone their powers."

"That's very cool Terrador!" Spyro replied. As the two began to have their own conversation, Draco took notice of Cynder who was very quiet at the moment.

"Something the matter?" he asked. Cynder then looked at him with a worried look in her eye, and it was then that he realized what was up.

"All these new dragons here for one thing," she answered. "What will they think of me when they find out who I am?"

"Probably thank you for helping to save the world," the red dragon replied to help lighten her mood. I didn't work.

"You don't know that, and they probably all hate or fear me for what I did…"

"Didn't I tell you that it was the Terror of the Skies who did all of that?"

"I am the Terror of the Skies," she said annoyed.

"Really?" Draco responded with an eye ridge raised. "I thought you were Cynder?"

Despite trying to act serious, she couldn't stop the small smile form on her lips. "I know what you're trying to do, Draco. Thanks, but I don't think everyone is gonna have the same thoughts about me as you do."

"Maybe not, but they just don't know the real you yet. Just give them a chance and some time, and if they can't learn to forgive and forget, then that's their problem, not yours."

"Thanks Draco."

"No problem… Now where did they go?" During their conversation, Spyro and Terrador took a turn unknown to them. Now Cynder and Draco were currently alone in a hallway. "They must've taken a different turn. Let's head back."

They turned back and proceeded to look for the said two dragons. When they made it to a fork in the road they could hear some kind of commotion going down one of it's halls. Thinking it was who they were looking for they followed the noise, which led them to a large door. Before Draco could open it, it burst open with something crashing into him. After regaining his bearings, he looked to see another dragon was on top of him, but their face was covered by an open book.

They had a lithe body similar to Cynder's, indicating she was a female. She had lapis blue scales and a golden yellow underbelly. A pair of wings with membranes the same golden yellow as her underbelly. At the tip of her tail was a tail blade similar to Spyro's but was a golden yellow also. She had dark golden spines running down her back that started at the crown of her head and ended near the tip of her tail. When she finally removed the book from her face, Draco was greeted with two hot pink eyes staring back at him. She also had golden yellow spots that dusted the areas beneath her eyes, almost like freckles.

When she realised she was laying on top of him, the mystery dragoness jumped off Draco. "I'm sorry! I didn't know you were out here!"

Realising the awkward situation he was just in, Draco began to blush. "O-Oh! N-No, I-It's fine! I-I-I just wasn't expecting you to run out of the…" Looking behind her Draco got up, he got a good look at the room she came out of. "...library?"

"Yeah," she said. "It is, have you never seen a library before?"

After all the studying he had to do as a human, how could he not have seen one. "I've seen enough libraries," he said conflicted.

"W-Well… I should probably pick these up and go," the dragoness said as she started picking up the 4 books she dropped.

"D-Do you want some help?" Draco asked.

"N-No, I'm fine on my own…" After grabbing the last book, she proceeded to run off holding her books while looking down at the ground to avoid anymore eye contact.

"That was… strange," Cynder, finally making herself known, said.

"Sorry about that," said another familiar voice. "But she doesn't seem to like making friends. I tell you, she is very introverted, reclusive, soft-spoken, withdrawn…" The very person speaking was the electric dragon guardian Volteer, who had yellow scales with a dark blue underbelly and horns that went upwards like Spyro's and Draco's.

"Volteer!" Cynder exclaimed, running up to him.

"Cynder? My goodness, it's been nearly a month, weeks even!" the said dragon replied. "Is Spyro with you?"

"We kinda got separated from him," Draco explained. "He's with Terrador at the moment."

"Oh… well that's too bad, I wished to speak with him again. Hey wait a moment, I don't think I recognise you…"

"I just got here with Spyro and Cynder. The name's Draco by the way."

"Well Draco, I am Volteer, the electric guardian, and this academy's librarian and counselor."

"Nice to meet you," the red dragon finished before turning to where the mystery dragoness ran off. "Volteer, If it's not too much trouble, who was that girl?"

The guardian's face grew somewhat saddened. "That would be Lapis, my niece."

"YOUR NIECE?!" both Cynder and Draco exclaimed.

"And that's all we've been up to till now." Spyro finished telling Terrador about what him and Cynder had been up to for the past three weeks.

"Well that's nice to hear, though I wished you'd send us a letter or something. Sparx was going crazy about you not coming back for so long," Terrador replied.

"Oh! Yeah… not gonna lie, it was kinda peaceful without Sparx around blabbing his mouth off in my ear, though I did miss it a little."

"Well isn't that nice to hear!" sarcastically said a voice that sounded suspiciously like Brad Williams. Turning to the said voice, the said dragonfly was fluttering right there, his 'arms' crossed.

"Hey Sparx! How've you been?" Spyro asked the dragonfly.

"Oh you know, another new voice, got worried sick a week after you vanished and had time to visit dear old mom and dad while you were away!"

"Oh? And how are they?"

"They're fine actually, thanks for asking! They also told me to tell you they said hello If I ever saw you again!"

"Yeah… sorry I was away for so long. Cynder and I just really needed that break."

"Uh-huh, and where is the she-devil anyways?"

"Sparx! Don't call her that, also she's right… here?"

It was then that both Spyro and Terrador noticed the missing two dragons.

Author's Note: Sorry it took so long to write this, I have been very lazy except for when I'm at my job, and had a light writer's block, but here's the next chapter. And for those of you who don't know Brad Williams, do the logical thing and look it up on youtube. Thanks, and 'til next time!
