Sorry for the wait, personal life has been pretty hard and hectic. But here it is, hope you enjoy and review
Mrs Sinclair made her way through her front door, with a bag of groceries, alongside her just-turned-10 year old daughter Erica, who noticed Max's bike slumped across the porch.
"Whose bike is that?"
"It's probably one of the boys. Hold that please Erica" plopping a full bag in her daughter's arms. Mrs Sinclair rested all the bags on the kitchen counter, Erica laid hers on the table.
"Go tell your brother lunch will be ready in 10 minutes"
"Can't he just come down himself?" She was met with a glare from her mother, that told the message straight away "Okay, I'll go, I'll go".
Meanwhile, up in Lucas's bedroom, him and Max had been embraced in a romantic making-out session, on Lucas's bed, when Max heard the faint sound of a door opening.
"What was that?"
"What?" said Lucas, only paying attention to Max's earlobe, heading down to her neck, before Max pushed him away.
"Listen"
Now Lucas was paying attention. They both heard commotion from downstairs, and the sound of footsteps on stairs, coming closer and closer.
"Shit. Get the books" said Lucas and the two previous lovebirds shuffled for textbooks in the backpack, Max got into place, sitting up on Lucas's pillow.
"You said they were coming at half 3!"
"They were, I'm as confused as you"
Erica stropped upstairs to her brother's room. She opened the door, without knocking of course, to the sight of her brother Lucas, sitting on his bed, next to the redheaded white girl he's usually hanging out with. Only they had books open. The two of them both looked up, seeing Erica in the doorway, and thankful they got in place in time.
"Get out" ordered Lucas.
Ignoring him, "Mom says lunch is ready in 10 minutes"
"Okay" now getting annoyed.
"Hey Max"
"Hey Erica"
"Yeah, bye". Erica just sighed at her brother, but it did the trick and she left. Lucas closed the door behind her. He turned around to Max nonchalantly relaxing on his bed, and with the sunlight coming through his window, she looked like an angel, with her ginger hair looking like fire. "Sorry about that" and he walked back to her side on the bed.
"You think Erica will tell your parents?"
"Oh, definitely. Don't worry about it. Hey, at least my parents like you"
"Mom and Neil like you". Lucas gave her a condescending look, a trait he naturally picked up from his mom. "Well, my mom likes you. She does! Hey" she said while pinching Lucas's cheeks towards her "Even if, IF both of them had problems with this" flicking her finger between the two of them "I don't care".
Lucas, still with his cheeks pinched, giving him a fish mouth, only splurted out "Thay merr"
"What?" Max said, releasing her hold.
"Same here" Lucas smiled. The two of them smirked at each other, as their faces grew closer and their lips locked, back to where they were, like nothing changed.
