Battle for Arus

This is the 6th installment for Battle for Voltron. Lotor is under investigation, will it go up in smoke? When will the Evil Voltron attack next? Will Director Cooper reveal Earths hand in the creation of the mighty robot. Keith goes to meet with Sven on Pollux how will it go?

This is the 6th story in the Battle for Voltron. It has been a while and I wanted to review this before publishing it. It is hard to review your own work especially when you are the editor/writer. In this 6th installment, Lotor is under investigation and the Voltron Force is stranded on Earth for a while. Will Director Cooper reveal to the Galaxy about earth's hand in Voltrons Creation. Will Lotor's interrogation go up in smoke. We will find out.

I got from the comics but again had to put my spin into it. Still, quite a challenge to do. I also wish I had a good editor to help me but it's just myself will see what happens. Thank you all so much for the reviews love them all and they are helping me so much.

Interrogation

Chapter 1

Space Explorers Central Command Living Quarters-Earth

Allura and Keith are still at the Living Quarters having their conversation about Lotor's speech.

Allura then asks Keith, "Is it so hard to believe that he took a look at his father and it made him sick to his stomach?" "Do you think I agreed with everything my parents did when they ruled Arus?" "Do you think I agreed with everything my father did when he was on the throne?" Keith answers, "Allura, your father, and King Zarkon are not even on the same level. Zarkon was a vicious killer and he did not care about who he attacked and enslaved. He killed people for no good reason at all and a few bullets to the head were the least he deserved."

Allura responds, "Keith you don't understand what it's like to be born into something and then get trapped there, whether you agreed upon it or not." Keith just looks back at her with raised brows and says, "So you're telling me that everything that he has been a party to we are supposed to show him sympathy. I am sorry Allura but I can't." Warning, Warning, Incoming transmission. "This is commander Kogan put it through." Pidge tells Keith "That something is on the moon base and it is biological not too sure maybe after we leave earth we can take a look at it." Pidge puts the screen up for them to take a look and they see Queen Merlas Voltron on the moon.

Defender Base-Nevada

Pidge and Keith are meeting up with Director Cooper in regards to seeing about Alec Sigis spirit in Voltron. Director Cooper tells Keith that there is no sign of Sigis in the Black Lion. Cooper tells them

"That the last attack did not sever the mystical link of Alec Sigis, considering it was strong enough to hold Sigis over the decades. Cooper goes on to tell them he has had his best engineers and mystics working on it here.

Keith thanks Director Cooper for trying to help him in seeing more about Sigis. Keith then asks Cooper, "There's one more matter though I would like to discuss privately." Director Cooper leads them into the Black Room. Keith asks Cooper if he has heard of Lotor's speech today. Cooper responds, "Yes, we did and it was all over the feed." "What do you make of it?" Cooper asks.

Keith responds," It's all nonsense everyone that has come out. The alliance is going to turn on this. With the damage done to the Eco-system, there is still a need for repairs. The Earth is not in a position to turn down Lotor's offer of help. I also know how far people will go to see peace. Arus has made settlements like this before."

Cooper asks, "Do you think this time will be different?" Keith answers, "Yes it is different this time and people will turn a blind eye to this. But Arus will not go along with Lotor deal." Cooper then states, " I am not a politician and the alliance frowns on what we do here and they don't back us." Keith then comes out directly and asks Director Cooper, "Why don't you just tell them the truth about what you do here and about Earth's involvement in Voltron's creation and Alec Sigis?" Cooper answers him with a straight look, "That is out of the question and we would lose a lot of allies if we did that. "We would also lose Earth standing in the Galaxy. These matters are above my head and I believe they are above yours's too Commander. As long as I am the Director of this facility the answer to your question is no. We never will reveal that to anyone." Cooper answers in a snippy remark. "What you are suggesting Keith will undo everything we have done in the Galaxy. Please don't make me regret trusting you and your team with this information. Now if you will excuse me I have a meeting to get too and I trust you and Pidge can see yourselves out." Keith takes both of his hands and rubs his face. Pidge just looks at him and Keith tells him they are done here. Now they have to investigate Earth's Moon since Merla's Voltron was last seen there.

Earth Moon

As Voltron lands on the moon, Pidge checks out the area with his scanner. "All clear cap but I am not sure what Merla's Voltron was doing here." "It's Lotor." Keith states.

Queen Merla's Voltron takes the Voltron Force by surprise. She attacks them with twin bladed swords but as she engages Voltron Force they move too quickly and she misses. Queen Merla's Voltron takes off and leaves the moon. Lance asks, "Why is it leaving and not fighting?" That's weird." All of a sudden Pidge gets a heat signal coming from inside the moon. Keith then notices that is a bomb and orders the team, "to get the hell out of here now." All of a sudden the bomb goes off and Voltron is hit again and part of him is now damaged. Keith orders them to deactivate the interlock and they now have to go back to earth for repairs.

Evers Air Force Base – Washington D.C.

At the base, the engineers are working to repair Voltron. Keith speaks with Gram on the phone. "We need the lions charged and bring the cells up from cold storage." He also asks Gram, "Bring me something that Lotor does not want me to know of because I want to nail his ass for this one before I start questioning him." Then General Gram tells him, "We don't have anything on him yet." Keith answers, "He is a suspect and I know he is responsible for this."

When Keith gets off the phone with Gram Lance asks him. "Do they have anything on him yet?" Keith answers, "They have him in a holding cell but nothing concrete on him yet." Allura comes over and asks, "Keith do you have a moment?" "Sorry, Allura not now. We'll talk later." Keith leaves and Lance follows him. Lance asks, "So what's going on with you two?" "Why don't you bring her in there maybe it will throw him off his game?" Keith stops and looks directly at him giving him a death look. "Are we on the same page for this?" "We know he is behind that attack on the moon and I have no problem going solo in there."

Lance raises his hands and says, "I am with you." They both go to the office where Lotor is. Two big Drule guards are outside the door. The Guards open the door to let them in. Lotor greets them. "What has happened on your moon. The reports make no sense." The speaker of the house then comes over and says, "This is unofficial so just pretend I am not here."

Lotor starts up again and says, 'The reports are ridiculous. Keith cuts him off. "Stop it Lotor, just stop it," Lotor answers him and says anything my planet can do to help. Lotor sits back down and there is a Drule woman by him. Keith comes over and puts his hands behind his back and asks, "I don't believe we have met?" Lotor tells him, "Well with the interrogation it only makes sense to have some sort of legal advisor with me." Keith then answers, "Unbelievable, even for you."

"We have recently adopted the Legal System from your planet Earth. It was an interesting subject to look into. Liking the way the legal system works made me want to implement it on my planet." Lotor states. "I hope that won't be a problem. " Keith answer, "No not at all if young women on your planet are allowed that privilege." Lotor answers, "We are not all barbarians on Doom. We are advanced in a lot of areas new to our civilization."

Keith then starts to proceed with the questioning. "My team and I were recently on the moon and saw a unit that looked a lot like Queen Merla's Voltron. " "Do you know who is piloting it and where they are now?" The speaker of the house interrupts quickly. "The King volunteered for this questioning, we will not stand by you while you "…. Keith does not allow the speaker to continue but he continues his questioning and he overrides the speaker. "Do you believe in coincidences? " "That things don't just happen for any reason at all." Keith now leans over the desk that Lotor is sitting at and he puts both hands on the desk while he looks over at Lotor.

Lotor gives him a direct look. "Of course not. Everything happens for a reason." Keith then goes back and looks again directly at Lotor and says. "I knew you were going to say that. I just knew it. You are a smart guy and have been around for a while. " "Tell me what this looks like to you?"

Keith then stands up still with his hands behind his back passing and then he tells Lotor. "This morning you show up with that fancy speech preaching peace and forgiveness. Then 7 hours later we are called to investigate our moon to find this Voltron Unit there and then a bomb goes off on us. No one has seen you for 10 months straight." "What have you been doing on Doom for the past 10 months you were there?"

"That is a lot of time to put a unit together," Keith tells him. "Maybe Daddy got you started." Lotor gives a quick reply. "I have been mourning my father's loss." "My father is.." Keith interrupts him and says, "Is dead so you say." "Then something else dawned on me that maybe he might be anchoring the news reports." Lance interrupts and says, "Mixed feeling commander." Lotor then answers with, "I don't know what you mean commander. I am trying to be forthright and accommodating as I can, however, I take great offense that my father is still alive." "I was the one that found his body riddled " bullet holes and there was nothing I could do." Keith shacks his head and says, "Thank god for that."

Lotors attorney answers and says, "How dare you and you have no right in speaking to my King that way." "I am going to report this to the entire security council." "Who the hell do you think you are?" The speaker comes in and says, "I must agree to this. You and the King have a troubled past and you have overstepped your bounds." Lotor answers, "The young commander has every right after what my father put them through." "I also know he was a cruel and unjust man."

Keith then asks Lotor, "Did he leave you anything?" Lotor shakes his head.

Keith says, "You're telling me he left you nothing at all."

Lotor answers, "The last words he spoke to me were fool" "And he was right because I have been a fool and pawn to him but no more." "Seeing him like that was washing over me and I know now he will never look down on me again ever."

Keith then apologized to the King. "I apologize for this Lotor and for what I said before was inappropriate and uncalled for. Please excuse me now." Keith and Lance leave the office. Lotor's advisor tells him to stop this interrogation but Lotor feels the young commander has a right to question him. The Speaker of the house agrees with his counsel.

Not too far from the office Keith and Lance walk down Lance stops Keith short. "What the hell was that?" Keith gets back on his com and talks to Pidge again. He asks him "to give him something on Lotor and moon incident because he is running out of time." Lance interrupts again. "Keith I am talking to you. You just gave information to Lotor about classified information and that damn Speaker." Keith responds, "He lied to us, Lance." He lied right to us to all of us." "Lotor changed and was acting nervous in his seat when he said that his father called him a fool." "He was blinking rapidly and shifting in his seat." Lance then answers, 'That's not enough evidence to get him thrown out." "The Senate will not boot him for that." Keith then says, 'Out of all the things that he said in the questioning that was the only thing that got him upset."

Speaker comes running out of the office and tells Keith to take a look at the screen. Lance and Keith come running back into the office. On the news screen, there is the evil Voltron showing attacking Doom. Lotor then says "I cannot see this is very upsetting." It's attacking my planet. I have to leave and attend to this sorry but I will continue the questioning later." Lotor says and leaves.

Lance then states, "He can be that crazy and orchestrate an attack on his own planet just for a seat in the Senate." "How the hell did it reach Doom that fast." Keith says, "I have to go and check on something. Lance asks him, "Where are you going?" Keith does not answer him but just leaves. Keith walks down the hallway in the auditorium. Lance starts to think to himself how this whole thing now is starting to affect Keith in a way. He is even more on edge now than before and something is definitely up with him.

Keith walks into the auditorium and he yells out, "I know you are there stop wasting my time and get on with it. Keith gets hit from behind and nearly gets hit with two spinning laser balls. Keith puts his hands in a circle and a blue alien comes out of now where. The Blue Alien says, 'You should not beabel to us and to reveal us." "How do you know us?' Keith kicks the alien and answers 'It's a secret." The alien then grabs Keith and they struggle with each other. The Alien kicks Keith off of him and then goes to attack him again. The alien has Keith pinned at this point with a sharp knife coming out of the alien's hand. Keith is holding the hand back so he does not get stabbed with it. Keith then uses his foot to hit the alien head away. Now Keith takes the Alien in a headlock and snaps its neck. He then picks up the alien com and says "I know your listening and send whoever you need to. I'll know everything soon. "Then we will come for you." Keith pulls himself up and sees the Alien body disintegrated into nothing. Keith leaves the meeting hall and regroups back with the Voltron Team.

Docking Space Station for Earth

The Voltron Force has left earth and now is on its way back to Arus. Keith asks for permission to cross the threshold of the station port. "Please give us the Code Commander?" the station asks him. Keith responds "code 156589". The tower checks the code and they are clear. Allura is a bit on the upset side after everything that went down. Keith notices this and holds his hand out to her. She takes it and they are holding hands. He tells her, "We will make it I promise." Hunk notices the affection but says nothing.

Hunk remembers what transpired yesterday with his girlfriend Justine before leaving. Justine and Hunk are in bed together and she asks him, "Are you sure about this?" He answers her, "Of course I am and Zarkon is gone for good this time. He has not been seen for months and would have done something by now." "Since he is dead the Alliance will no longer need us. Voltron can't solve all the problems and I am not going out there for no good reason." "I will tell Keith at the end of this week I am done with the force."

Justine tells him, "I don't want you to quit on account of me, and now that I am pregnant too." "Have you told them yet?" Hunk answer, "No I have not said anything to them yet and that is not a way to raise a family. I want to marry you Justine and I have waited for this all my life. This is not a way to raise a family. I don't care what anyone thinks and to hell with everyone."

Hunk goes on, "I will not be one of those people that say goodbye to their family and then not see them for months or if they will ever see them again. It is time for me to retire from this. I like Keith, Lance, Pidge, and Allura but I am done with this." Beep, Beep, "Hunk you there?" Keith asks. Hunk answers, "Copy." "What's up boss?" Keith then tells him, "You are needed at the assembly because Lotor is going to be making his speech." Hunk says, "Will be there. I gotta go Justine."

Justine says, "Hunk." Hunk looks at her and answers, "It doesn't matter, at the end of the week I am done with Voltron Force.

Planet Arus - City of Alturs

Queen Merla and the evil Voltron are headed for the City of Alturs. Merla gets on her com with Prince Eron. "Hello, Eron after the victory would you like to celebrate with me?" Prince Eron responds, 'Yes of course. I want to make Princess Allura pay for dumping me for that arrogant commander. I am so upset that she did that." Queen Merla answers him, "You can make her your slave after Lotor is done with her." Prince Eron has a smile on his face. "Yes"

When Merlas Voltron gets to the City of Alturs she starts shooting rockets at the villages and the people come out into the streets to see what is going on. The alarms go off in the city notifying the people of the attack. They start to evacuate and leave. The evil Voltron takes some people as a prisoner and the others they just kill them. The Evil Voltron is making a massacre of the city with no remorse. Queen Merla just orders more rockets to come out and hit the town with everything she has. She uses then the lightning rod on some of the buildings. They come crashing down and the people are starting to panic when they see the evil Voltron. The Town's Mayor Tolmis calls down to the Castle for help.

Castle of Lions

After a long day and having dinner with Allura in the upper balcony room, Keith is just heading back to his office. He plans on spending the whole night with her. He will go to her room around midnight so that there are not too many people wandering around including Nanny who will never let the relationship situation down. He thinks to himself "They keep hounding her for a suitor. " I still have to find out what I came upon in the assembly a few days ago and what the hell what was I fighting?" "That thing I think is from the Spheres planet. It must be and Director Cooper does not want to help us anymore. He feels that he has provided us with the information so be it." Keith makes it to his office and sits down. He goes to his computer to pull up some top-secret files that he has access to. Then something catches his attention Top Secret Voltron. He clicks on the file and then he starts to scroll down. Then he notices something weird. Spheres Planet Info: The alchemists and chemists of the Spheres were the ones that helped in the creation of Voltron. They can sense things in the universe that most other races can't. King Drog was the main alchemist who assisted King Alford during the creation of the Defender. His son became the Blue Lion pilot even though his father did not want him to help defend again the Drules. The Spheres have extra powers that they can call upon if Voltron ever needed help or might turn on the universe.

"Keith, Keith this is Allura come quickly to the control room." Keith hears the urgency and then quickly turns off the computer and leaves the office running down the hallway. He starts to think quickly he cannot move forward with Allura until he gets to the bottom of this.

When he gets to the Control Room Allura is sitting at the control and Keith says were is Coran and everyone. Allura says Coran is with Nanny and he is helping her out with some things so I relieved him but we are under attack in Alturs. "We go Princes call the rest of the team now." Allura turns the emergency indicator on and Lance is sleeping with Cathy in bed. He hears the alarm and gets up and says to her I gotta go. Cathy says ok and he gets dressed and kisses her goodbye. Hunk is getting ready for bed and thinking about Justine back on earth and he is planning on how he is going t tell Keith about his resignation from the Voltron Force when he gets the call. He gets dressed and leaves. Pidge is working with Vince on some things and he hears the alarm too he tells Vince that he will be back and they can finish it.

Everyone is now in the Control Room. Lance, Hunk, and Pidge all meet with Allura. She tells them Keith left already and she was waiting for them. Larminia comes in to take over Allura at the Control Tower because Coran is tied up. The team leaves and Larmina takes over the monitor watch as she sees the lion ships leave.

Black Lion is already on the scene and at the city. He attacks the Evil Voltron and Queen Merla uses her Rod on the Black Lion but that does no good because it only energizes the Lion because Black Lion gets its power from lighting. Keith has his lion use the rocket on the evil Voltron and hits it. Merla's Voltron just steps back. Keith says to himself that Lotor has to be behind these attacks. The rest of the team catches up with Keith's Lion and they form Voltron. Queen Merl's Voltron tries to punch at the Voltron Force but Red and Green Lion grab its arm and flips it over. Queen Merla's Voltron lands on its back. She gets annoyed and then gets back up. The two Voltrons are staring at each other. Queen Merla then orders her Voltron to use its rockets again. Voltron Force gets hit in the stomach with it and jolts. Keith tells his team they have to get the Evil Voltron out of the city so the Voltron Force gets behind Merla's Voltron and picks it up and takes it to another area. Merla Voltron is squirming all the way trying to break loose of the hold. All of a sudden she has an idea she uses her Voltron Mega Thrusters and breaks free of the hold. Her Voltron shoots upward and goes towards the castle. Allura tells Keith, "It's getting away." Keith responds, "Like hell it is. We go after it now."

The Voltron Force sees where Meral's Voltron landed. Keith says try to make contact with it Pidge. Pidge tries to open a channel only to be blocked by some unknown source. He tells Keith."I cannot get through transmission are blocked. Keith then tells the team to engage. They take a running start at Merla's Voltron but she moves and they miss. Merl's Voltron forms two swords and then engages the Voltron Force. Her sword penetrates the Green lion side. Pidge is ok but there is a shock that he gets. Keith then has the red lion pull the sword out. Keith then tells them to form a blazing sword which they do. Keith then tells the red lion, "Lance throws the sword at them." Red Lion powers up and throws the sword and it hits Merla's Voltron in the Left arm where Prince Eron is piloting. It cuts off his Orange Lion and Merl's Voltron loses the Left Orange arm. Merls Voltron is smoking and she tells them to abandon the battle. She takes off with a lot of smoke behind her.

Prince Eron is unconscious when Hunk and Pidge retrieve him. Keith tells them he needs the info and wants to know who is piloting that lion. Later they find out it is Prince Eron and he is awake. They have him in a holding cell. Allura goes down to question him. Prince Eron tells her he is working with Merla and that they will win. Allura tells him she is having the Alliance to come to pick him up in a small craft that she has contacted the Galaxy Alliance and he is a traitor to them. Prince Eron only snorts at her. She tells him that he is not going to win and when the Alliance finds out he has betrayed them they will put him on trial as they did with Wade. She then leaves and goes to speak with Keith. She tells Keith that he only told her that he is working with Merla. Keith thinks there is more to this than Prince Eron is telling them. Keith tells her that the Prisoner shuttle is coming in the morning for him from Galaxy Alliance. He has to be tried for treason against them. Allura agrees with Keith. Keith then tells Allura that is late and they need sleep. She kisses him and tells him she is going to bed but she wants him to stop by later and they will spend the rest of the night together.

It is almost dawn now and Keith has spent the night in Allura's room with her. He wakes up and looks over to see Allura is still asleep. He gets dressed and leaves. He goes down to the hanger and then goes by the Black Lion. Keith then states," Alec Sigis please come out and show me how to defeat this evil Voltron and help me defend Allura and Arus because I cannot do this without your help." All of a sudden Alec Sigis appears and is staring back at him. Sigis then states, "Where do you want to begin?"

Planet Doom

"How many have we lost?" King Lotor asks his Legal Representative. "Around twelve thousand could be more." They are in his ship overlooking his city. Lotor is angry and takes the wiring from his ship and throws it again into the console. Everyone just stands there in shock. Lotor then requests for everyone to leave. He is upset about his evil Voltron attacking his planet. He did not want to kill his own kind but he felt this a necessary stand to bring Voltron Force to the front. Lotor demands that they get Merla on the com immediately. Queen Merla answers, "Yes Lotor what is it?" "I told you Merla I am not putting up this. We have lost too many people already. Stop attacking Doom that is an order." She answers Lotor, "You knew there were going to be casualties and you ok this don't blame me." He goes back, "I said to stop it and if you don't I will have you impounded." She answers, "Yes my lord." He goes on to say we need to meet back at the castle please meet me there today." "I will out Merla.

About half an hour later Lotor is back at Castle Doom and is sitting on his throne. All of a sudden Queen Merla comes in. Lotor looks at her and says "You have killed twelve thousand of our people Mera that's not part of our deal. I did not command you to kill all of them. Queen Merla then looks at him and states "You knew there would be casualties and it had to be convincing. Lotor just shacks his head and says to her with anger. "I did not tell you to kill twelve thousand people have you seen the damage you did plus you are missing the left arm where Prince Eron was a pilot in. He is now in Arus custody and if he tells them about this it is over with and my alliance with Galaxy Garrison is over with. Queen Merla's just looks at Lotor and tell him she needs repairs and a new left arm. King Lotor then threatens her and says if he tells them I will have your head for this. Queen Merls just steps back and Haggar comes in right in the middle of their argument she looks at the Queen and says to her we will fix that problem I have the magic and robotics that will match perfectly. Queen Merla says "I hope so Old Witch." Lotor then says to them. I am now King and I demand that if there is another loss someone will pay and he looks directly at Merla. She looks back at Lotor and the witch tells her to follow her to her lab and that they will fix the evil Voltron.

Arus

Princess Allura is sitting in her office going over some royal decrees with Coran. Corn looks at her and then asks, "Allura are you going to have another ball soon?" "I think I might be beneficial for us to maybe think of some more planets we might be able to align with and you can meet some more eligibles princes." "I hear young Prince Cogran of Planet Trilli is looking for a Princess. Your father was good friends with them." They will not be interested in taking Voltron away. Prince Cogran is a good fighter too. You should start to think about this because King Zarkon is gone and Lotor has now made peace with a lot of planet including the Galaxy Alliance." What happens if the Voltron Force start to retire or get on with their lives after this?" Lance may marry Cathy they are engaged now and he is living with her outside of the castle. Pidge is thinking about going back to Earth to be with his brother and Hunk and Justine are inseparable. "Keith will probably want to get back to earth to be with his family." I know his parents died but he has other relatives in New York and friends in the Alliance." I think you should consider this." Also, the cadets are almost done training and they will be piloting the Lions soon. Larmina is excited about taking over the blue lion, Vince is still training in Green and soon Daniel will take over black so I think you should think about this." Allura just listens to this but just plays along. Her heart is already set on Keith and they have been making plans with each other. Yes, they have. She looked into past laws and there is nothing set in stone about marrying a prince. She doesn't have to. She was happy to find this out and she and Keith have been talking and dating a lot more lately anyway. They have been dating right behind Coran and Nannys back. Nanny was just a little taken because the Princess has been spending so much time with Keith and Allura has been telling her that is it because of her planets security and Voltron position with the Alliance now that there seems to be peace. Nanny has not mentioned this with Coran but found it unusual. Allura cuts Coran off, "Yes Coran I hear you but I will think about it and I will not be making any fast decision either. Coran just nods and then he says, "Ok Princess but don't wait too long." She then looks back and says, "I won't." Coran concludes his meeting and leaves. After the meeting, Allura just stares out the window and she starts thinking about Keith again. She decided to call him and then ask if maybe they can have dinner together in the upper balcony room.

Keith has been helping Hunk and Pidge work on some more upgrades in the Lions. Hunk is working on the Blue Lion seeing that there were some electric issues the other day when Larmina was out training. Keith is talking to Pidge when Allura calls him. Pidge looks and does not say anything and moves away not wanting to hear their private conversation. Keith answers, "Hey Allura what's up?" Allura answers him, "Hi Keith say do you want to have dinner tonight upstairs?" "I will have Nanny cook up something special like alfredo and meatballs." Keith looks directly at her from his com, "Sounds great." Allura looks back and says, "Good then I will have her make special and tell them we have to have another private meeting just us." "Ok Keith I love you and I am so glad we are back together again." "Oh, you know what too maybe we can spend the full night together like we did the other night." "You had to leave at 4 in the morning though." Keith looks back at her and says, "Yes I will come again to your room tonight like we did the night before." "Can't get caught though." Allura has that smile on her face and Keith smiles back at her. Allura knows everything is going to work out.

Castle of Lions Repair Center (Several Hours Later)

Keith is by himself in the Lion Repair Center. He thinks to himself. There has to be more behind these attacks with Merla and Lotor engaging her. Prince Eron has been taken back to Earth to be tried. I need more information about this attack. We have the Orange Lion now and something in it is going to tell us where to look next Sigis tells Keith. Keith answers him," I appreciate all that but it has to be Lotor. He attacked his Planet to throw us off. Yes, it has happened again but that doesn't mean he not involved and thanks to you Sigis I was ready this time." When it came I felt it like a shadow follows you much further than it should. This is all so different from me and I never believed in anything like this before. Everyone is fine and it's going to stay that way they are all safe. The third Sphere does not touch any of them. "Do you understand?" I don't have a lot of time here. Keith goes on. Sigis is now standing in front of Keith and Keith looks directly at him and goes on to say, "Enough of the defensive stuff please tell me how to stop these bastards when they come after us." Sigis answers him "Young one there is much to learn here and I need to teach you the ways but I must possess you." It will not be easy for you in any way. You are the commander and have a high level of confidence. It will not take long. I will show you. Sigis then shows him a crystal ball and starts to explain to Keith the beginning of the creation of Voltron and everything that has happened right from the beginning and King Zarkon's involvement in it. Keith is astonished about the revelation of what Sigis has revealed to him. It has been over several hours and it is now getting close to dinner time. Allura calls Keith and he tells Sigis that he has to go now. Sigis disappears.

Balcony Dining Room

Keith and Allura are having Dinner in the Balcony Dining Room. Nanny has cooked a special meal but still finds it strange that Keith and Allura have been so much time together. Nanny then pulls Allura off to the side to question why she is having dinner again with the command. Allura signs and tells her that again it is about the Alliance and Security of the planet. Nanny is not buying into it and says it just looks inappropriate that she is having dinner with someone below her station and that she should be having dinner with someone who she can identify with. Allura gets angry and tells Nanny to stop with the fact-finding questions that she is a woman now and she can make her own decision. Keith just stairs at the conversation that Nanny is having with her. Allura cuts her off and tells her to please let her and Keith alone they have to do something together now. Nanny shakes her head and leaves. Allura then gets back to Keith and they start talking again. Keith looks like he is right now in another world and Allura finds that strange and not like him. Allura asks him, "Keith what is wrong is something on your mind?" You have been quiet all evening long." Keith then looks at her and only then he notices her and what she is wearing. He looks deep into her eyes and sees she has on a beautiful purple jumpsuit with her white boots. The jumpsuit has off the shoulder and her hair is done up in a bun. Keith comes out of his dais and says to her, "I am sorry Allura this thing with Lotor and the Alliance has me all in never-ending this week." I cannot imagine that he would attack his people just to gain a seat in the alliance. He has to be stopped Allura. Prince Eron did not provide us a whole lot of information. Suddenly Keith thinks of the Spheres and then he asks Allura about them. Allura is suddenly surprised at Keith's question but she does explain to him about King Drog and how they helped in the creation of Voltron. If Voltron ever turned to the darkness they would use the power of the Spheres to stop him. The Spheres are also an electric force. They are very powerful she goes on. Keith is quite intrigued by this. Allura is a bit surprised that he is interested. She smiles at him and then says, "So you are interested in our history then?" Keith smiles back and yes.

After an hour and Allura cleaning up Keith just takes in what Allura has told him about the history and creation of Voltron. Allura then goes back and sits on Keith's lap he is still a bit in his world about this Allura finds him a bit distant and asks him again if anything is wrong. Keith looks back and says it's these unknown attacks of Merlas that has him up in arms. Allura is taken back by this because she has never seen Keith so distant before. She tells him not to worry all will work out.

Allura's Bedroom

After dinner and the evening meeting, the team has had everyone has either gone to bed or they have gone on rounds for patrol. Keith sneaks into Allura's room when they spend the night together again. Later on, Keith and Allura fall fast asleep in each other's arms but Keith is still a bit worried about the next attack and he cannot seem to get over curiosity about the Spheres that are involved in the creation of Voltron. Keith has a hard time sleeping but is almost now time to get up. Keith looks over to Allura who is still sleeping he gets up and puts his P.J bottoms on. Allura is woken up when the side of the bed dips from Keith's departure. She just turns her head and sees him go to the bathroom. Keith goes into the bathroom and looks at himself in the mirror and sees a reflection of Sigis. He blows it off and then goes to get dressed. After getting dressed he leaves and heads to the black lion shoot. Allura gets up and informs Nanny she will be going down to the crypt and she tells Nanny to please inform Coran. Nanny asks her if she needs a gown and Allura says no she does not. Allura then gets dressed and proceeds to go to the crypt.

Keith then takes off in the black lion he starts to think to himself about how long it has been since he has seen Sven. He then puts his destination into his computer and pulls up Pollux. He says to himself I can still trust him it doesn't matter what shape he is in.

Nanny is helping Allura and getting her weapons ready and Allura asks her if she has gotten in touch with Coran. Nanny tells her no and no one has seen him. Allura then tells Nanny that she wants him found immediately and to inform the guards and everyone to find him.

Planet Pollux

Keith is reaching the Planet Pollux. His computer reads to him approaching target 800 yards. Then he says to himself there you are. Keith then gets out of his lion and goes to a fence and he jumps over it.

Keith then starts to walk around and saying "You can come out man it's just me." I know you out there and I only need ten minutes. You can come out Sven. Sven is right behind Keith and Keith turns around to be face to face with him. Sven ask him, "What the hell are you doing here?" I thought I told you all to stay away." Keith answers him, "I know what you said and why you said it but we need to talk it can't wait for any longer."

Back on Arus

Allura and Nanny are running around franticly looking for Coran when they run right into him. Allura tells him that she needs to speak with him urgently and he tells her he does not know what she means. She tells him that he cannot stop her that her mind is made up. Allura tells him that change is always difficult but he will hear what she has to say including her father.

Back on Pollux

Sven asks Keith if everyone is ok and Keith reassures him. Keith then says to Sven, "I know it was you that killed King Zarkon Sven and I know why you did it." I need to know what exactly went down there Sven it is important. Sven tells Keith that their intel is better than he remembers it. Sven continues to ask Keith how. But Keith keeps dogging the question. Then Keith tells him it does not matter but Sven asks again How Keith because I left no trace of anything that would lead them back here or to any of you. So if you telling me I screw up somewhere then I need to know where. "

Keith then turns to the side and tells Sven well there has been a small transmitter behind your ear for a while all of you have one I thought just in case. Sven yells "What?" Then Sven halls off and punches Keith and Keith then stumble back.

Back on Arus

Princess please you cannot do this. This is not good. I beg you Coran tells her. Allura then turns back to him and says "Do not presume you or anyone else can tell me what I can and cannot do." I want all the Mystics in the chamber in the next five minutes and to start to work. Is that clear? Coran then nods and says yes your highness. Now I am going to speak with my father this has gone on long enough and walks away from Coran and Nanny.

Back on Pollux

Sven is enraged and looking down at Keith and he tells him, "You had no right. No, right at all." I told you I was done with this. No more secrets and no more missions." Who the hell do you think you are? Keith hides his face and says to Sven, "It was to protect.." Sven yells at him and says, "I don't need protection and be tagged like some animal. "Do the others even know?" Keith then wipes the blood off his face and says "I am only doing what you asked me to do put other before myself." "I don't have to tell you the bad guys don't care when we are out or off-mission." "I already knew about Zarkon and what happened you asked me to leave you alone so I did." "You had your reasons for what happened to him and why you did it" Sven then yells out, "You don't understand a damn thing they killed my wife." Keith then backs away again and puts his hands up and says, "I know they did and I am sorry but something else is going on something bigger."

Back on Arus Alfor Crypt

Allura tells her father, "You told me there would be more time to prepare for what is coming father." King Alfor looks down upon his daughter and says, "Ther is time daughter please calm yourself the sphere. Allura cuts him off, "Just stop it Father and stop it now." We have seen another unit and it attacked Arus." It will be weeks before we know what we lost." Alfor looks at her and says we have been assured. Allura looks back and says "Assured of what we lost. I cannot give the people these assurances. "it is time the world knew the truth. " Alfor looks at his daughter and asks her if she knows where this Voltron unit is from. Allura answers him, "We are not completely sure yet but Keith believes it to be under Lotors control."

Back on Pollux

Keith has explained to Sven about Lotor and his manipulation of the Alliance. Sven then tells Keith, "Zarkont told me something similar before I shot him." How Arus was involved in the creation of Voltron and Spheres are part of this." Sven then goes on, "Whatever this thing is you guys can handle this I cannot pilot a lion anymore. Keith then tells Sven, "I am going to show you something a Man by the name of Alec Sigis, Arus and Spheres planet. No one else knows of this and Keith's hands begin to light up as a round glowing ball.

On Arus

Allura is telling her father that Sigis is no longer within the lions that they had it tested back on earth. Her father asks her if the lions were destroyed. Allura tells him, no they were not. Alfor then tells her that Sigis is still in the lions. Only if the lions are truly destroyed then Sigis is still in them. Allura tells her Alfor that Keith has not heard from Sigis for a while. Alfor is still questioning this and Keith's communication from Sigis. Allura tells her father that they had earth mystics look into this. Alfor is still not convinced. Alfor tells Allura that Zarkon put Sigis into the Black Lion after the final battle. Alfor also reveals to Allura that one of Arus' greatest mystics also helped Zarkon in fusing Sigis into the lion after. Allura is shocked at what she hears of her father's revelation and threatens her father that when Keith gets back she will tell him everything. They cannot keep this from him anymore. Alfor tells her she must not do this if the Spheres planet finds this out they will attack. The Spheres planet will attack if they feel there is a threat. They hold a balance to Voltron. Allura tells her father that he does not know Keith as she does and Alfor tells her he was once in her shoes and how he felt towards his family. He does not want her to make the same mistake he made long ago. Just one man like Keith will never make the difference as Allura thinks he will.

Back on Pollux

Keith reveals to Sven that he is now the only person that can hear Sigis. Sven tells Keith about what Zarkon told him about Arus being involved in this. That Doom and Arus have been at war long before they existed. Sven also tells Keith how Sigis was put into the Lion after the final battle. Sven warns Keith about the Arus involvement and that Allura might know something more too. Keith tells Sven he knows Allura and how hard she tries to fit into the group and how she is a part of the team. Sven thinks that Arus might have her right where they want her. Keith is not buying any of it and he does not believe it.

On Arus

Alfor tells Allura to stop doing this and that she cannot tell Keith any of this or anyone for that fact. Allura then tells her father that she is still going to tell Keith but when she starts talking she garbles her words so that no one can understand her. At this, she is furious at her father and asks him what has he done.

On Pollux

Keith tells Sven about the third planet of the Spheres. Sven tells Keith he has also heard of this when he confronted Zarkon. Sven tells Keith that Zarkon told him that they also helped in the creation and that they keep everything in balance. Keith tells Sven he is afraid of the next attack by the evil Voltron but Sven tells him just to have the force mobilize. Keith tells Sven that Sigis has not told him everything. Keith tells Sven that the Spheres planet has kept hidden since the fall of Voltron. But since the attacks, they may be coming back again soon. The Spheres planet wrote the rules of magic and science that were also involved in the creation of Voltron. Keith tells Sven that he has looked over all the star maps for crumbs that would lead them to the Spheres planet. Sven tells Keith they probably do not want to be found. Keith then goes into detail about how they sent assassins after him to kill him one after the other. The assassins were invisible and undetectable. Keith also tells Sven that the Spheres seem only to target those who target them. He is referring to the fight he had with the Alien creation during Lotors speech with the Galaxy Alliance. Keith then comes out and asks Sven for his help. Keith asks Sven for help and that he will have to stay on Earth for a while because they are looking on a wide scale. It does involve everything including that evil Voltron.

On Arus

Allura has finally had it with her father and is walking out on him now. She tells him they will handle the Spheres and that she is renouncing her title and is now going to be considered a space explorer like the rest of the force. She tells her father that in the end, everything that Arus has played a part in will come to light. She then walks out on her father. Alfor still yelling at her as she walks out on him.

On Pollux

Keith tells Sven he knows that he can help him. Sven is still not convinced of how this can get done and how he can help him. Sven tells Keith he would help him but everyone would recognize him if he returned to earth and that they would know that he is working with them again. Keith then tells Sven he knew this would happen and that he thought of that too then he remembered the Merdock Mission. Sven started laughing and he cannot believe it. Sven did not think Keith had what it took for a mission like that Sven then thinks Keith is becoming like him then Sven asks him what happens if he refuses. Keith then tells him he will find someone else if he does not want to do this. Keith then also tells him that they are in over their heads. They also have tried to kill him and Lance. They are everywhere and no was at the same time and can disappear at will. Keith tells Sven with his help he will keep everyone alive. Sven then tells him he will help him but first, he wants to go to his wife's grave to see her one last time. After several minutes of standing over Rommel's grave, Sven tells her he is needed again and he hopes that she understands. After a few minutes, he returns to Keith and tells him he is ready. Keith then gets a message from Allura telling him they need to talk. Keith then sees the message and then looks at Sven he asks if he is ready and Sven says yes. Keith then pulls out his lasor pistols and fire at Sven.
