A/N: Now this is where I hope to change this fic for the better. Fingers crossed. So no witches later on as I only done that to try to make my character stronger again. Didn't work.

The door banged open and I saw Alice standing there with my suitcase in her hand. I looked at her with an arched eyebrow wiping the tears away from my face.

"I am sorry Mary, but you have to come with me" Alice said grabing a towel and pulling me out of the bathtub and towel off.

"Go where?" I asked and she dressed me in black yoga trousers and the long sleeved top Jacob got me for my birthday.

"We need to go to Italy. As Edward thought Bella died and went to the Volturi" She said hurriedly.

"So the Volturi knows about Bella and I. So they think we are dead. So what is the issue?" I asked.

Alice looked at me incredulously.

"Edward is going to die because he thinks Bella is dead. We need to go and stop him. So because you know of us you have to go too. I have also packed you more stuff as I saw a vision that you are staying there. I dont know why yet though"

"Fine. Give me a second" I sighed and went into my room. I dialed my phone.

"Hi sweetie, what's up?" Dad asked.

"Hi dad, remember Allison?"

"Yeah your old friend from school right? She moved to venice right?"

"Yeah, she did. She paid for me to go visit her for a week or so. The plane is tonight. So I am going to take her up on it since school is now on holiday and I feel like I really need a little break. I hope that is okay? I am sorry that it is so short notice" I bit my lip, waiting for his reaction.

He sighed, I could hear him rubbing his forehead.

"You do deserve a break. Keep in contact with me. When you land and such. I hope you have fun" he said with another sigh.

"Thank you so much dad. I will see you again soon" I said.

"Okay, enjoy your flight. Phone me remember. I love you sweetheart" he said.

" Will do,I love you too" a tear ran down my cheek. We hung up after that. I quickly texted my friend Allison so she would cover me just incase. A quick thumbs up emojii sent back. We had been growing apart. No questions asked, in the past I have covered for her when she came back for a weekend to visit her american boyfriend in florida. So it was time for the same favour returned.

I opened the door. Alice was just dragging Bella behind her. Bella only had a handbag. I will ponder on whether that is a good or bad thing later.

"My allibi is done. You dragged me off of a cliff and got me into this. So you can figure your own one out" I called after her.

Jacob came from the kitchen looking like he was due phasing."Bye Jacob" I said not looking him in the eye as I went out the front door. I dumped my suitcase in the back of the car. I was just about to open the back door when a large warm hand grasped my arm. I looked at him but he was looking at Bella.

"Jacob, let go please" I asked politely. He turned to me, his eyes alight with fear?

"You don't need to go to" he whispered.

"You care now? Because you aren't allowed to. If it wasn't for Paul I would have already been dead. Drowned because of my crazy sister. Now because I know of vampires and Edward decided to mess up spectaculary. I need to go. Or else I would probably be hunted down. I am sure you do not want the royal vampire family to poke their noses here" I said and pulled my arm away. Quickly getting out of the car before Jacob could react.

I closed the door and put my earphones in. Drowning out Jacob and Bellas conversation. I saw Jacob run and phase into the woods as Alice sped away to the airport.

TIME JUMP (AS THE AIRPORT AND JOURNEY WOULD BE BORING)

We were zooming down the beautiful roads to Volterra. Bella was freaking out. Running her hands through her hair, her heels digging into the seat. I still had my earphones on. Listening to DNCE be mean on repeat. It was a new song I recently found and have loved it. I guess it was my way of extending the moment. Knowing that very soon I will probably be dead.

We pulled up and Alice told Bella to run since Edward would hear Alice and think she was lying. I think for a second she thought I wasn't there and that Edward could read my mind. Alice then went and dumped the car somewhere and grabbed my suitcase. She had a scarf and sunglasses on. We walked beside each other up to the clock tower.

She opened the door and ushered me in. I looked up in front of me and saw a shirtless Edward and was hugging Bella like she was life itself. Which I guess for him, she is. As much as they both have done my head in and how Bella has been a bit of a bitch towards me like nearly killing me. They do look good together.

I flicked my eyes to the right and saw two red eyed vampires. The blonde haired one was looking at me with a sadistic grin. Great, he is probably thinking of how I would make a nice lunch. A petite red eyed blonde haired girl came up.

"The Masters are wondering what is taking so long. Follow me now" she said and as a group we followed her to the elevator. I closed my eyes and let my head rest on the back wall of the elevator. Breathing through my nose. Trying to calm my heart. Trying not to think of how my blood is going to be drained from me.

I still wonder though why Alice has my suitcase.

The doors opened and I felt a cold hand on my back. I opened my eyes and saw the dark haired tall bulky vampire that was there when I first arrived. He nodded and led me through the dark corridors to a grand door. Which the petite vampire then opened. We all walked in. The bulky vampire stopped me next to Alice. I nodded at him in thanks. For what I do not not know.

I grasped Alices hand tight in mine. I looked up to see the three Volturi kings. To the left was a dark haired depressed looking vampire. In the middle was the leader. Whom currently walked down to take Edwards hand. Barely listening to their conversation I slid my eyes from them to the third king. The snowy haird vampire. He looked like he was being inconvienced which to be fair. This whole thing was.

I kept my eyes on his for a while. After five or so minutes his eyes met mine. His brow furrowed. His eyes looked even more angry now. I quickly looked away and looked back to the middle vampire talking to my sister.

"I wonder" the middle vampire said looking at me glancing at his brothers behind him before flashing in front of me. "Can I have your hand please" I knew he wasn't really asking.

I let my hand go into his grasp. He pulled me close, holding my hand tight. But not too tight that it would break.

"So much sorrow for one so young" he murmured. He let go of my hand with a gentle squeeze before going back to his throne.

"I have thought of a proposition for you all. Alice you say that Bella will be changed. But we also know that your visions are subjective. I have come up with an insurance policy which I see that you have prepared for with Marys suitcase" I glanced away towards Edward and Bella. Bella looked confused and Edward looked angry, guilty and sorrowful all at once.

I looked back towards the middle vampire again.

"So we propose that Mary stays here with us as an insurance policy, to make sure that young Bella here gets turned"

"I can't leave my sister" Bella said panicky.

"What would happen if we don't take up the proposition?" I asked.

"Then since you are a liaibility to our secret. You will have to die. All of you" the blonde haired vampire growled out.

I looked at my sister. I couldn't let her die. When she could get what she has wanted for so long.

"Mary! No! I forbid it!" screamed Edward.

"You aren't my dad. So shut it sparkle boy" I shot back "I accept the terms of the propostition. I will stay here" I said calmly looking at the three kings dead in the eye.

"We will have a room prepared for you" the middle vampire said and I just saw his lips moving fast so I couldn't hear what was said. A random female vampire just zoomed out of the room. "You can wait here until the guard comes back after your room is ready. It shouldn't take too long. You can say your goodbyes now as Demetri is about to escort the Cullens and your sister away" I nodded to him in thanks.

I turned and saw Bella with her eyes streaming. She lunged at me.

"I am so so sorry. I never meant for this to happen. You wanted no part of this. I could have kept you safe" she sobbed.

"It would have only have worked for so long. As I would have been dragged into it with that Imprint business.I forgive you, please stay safe and get Edward to get over himself and turn you. ASAP" all I heard was Edward growling. I looked up from my sister embrace to glare at him. Screaming in my head you did this, you deal with the consequences and stop being a coward.

All too soon my room was ready. Alice had already given away my suitcase to the female vampire. Whom was now zooming me to my new room. I was essestially dumped and locked inside. After I got over my shock all I heard was screaming. Lots of screaming from what I am guessing is their dinner.

I looked around me and the room was very spacious and nice. There was a queen sized bed covered in deep green bedsheets. The furniture was white. There was a black sofa in the middle of the room. I decided to sit there and await my fate.

I quickly texted dad whilst it was in my head that I was safe and happy at Allisons. So hopefully no need for dad to worry. I laid back after I got a reply saying to relax and have fun. I closed my eyes waiting...
