I don't own any of this Paranorman belongs to Laika and Five Nights at Freddy's belongs to Scott Cawthon
It's a busy day in the Babcock house as today is spring cleaning day. The family were tasked with various chores through out the house: Perry is cleaning the garage, Sandra is mopping the kitchen floor, Courtney is vacuuming the living room, even Grandma Babcock was helping by dusting in hard to reach places.
As for Norman his job is to clean up the attic; the attic was your typical attic with boxes and various old stuff lying around with a dim light. Norman is sorting out boxes, as well as dusting up some of the things there. It was a tough job as evidence with the dark spots on his clothes and cheeks, he also sneezed a lot from the dust.
Norman picked up a box which is a little heavy, and places it on top of another box. "Alright that's stack done, now onto the last stack." He said in relief as he had been doing this all day, so he was looking forward to finally being finished and have a well disserve break by watching a scary movie, that is if Courtney will let him the living room.
Norman went over to the stack, first he wiped away the dust from every box, then picked them up and moved them in a different area in a organized way.
Norman set down a box near a wardrobe, dust goes everywhere when it touches the ground, some of the dust goes in Norman's nose. "Oh no not again." He said as his nose twitches, Norman tries to hold it in but it was no use as he sneezed, the sneezed pushed him back against a stack of boxes. The boxes shook from the sudden impact, Norman looked up at it uneasy.
"Uh oh."
Norman quickly places his arms up as the boxes fell in a avalanche, most of them missed him but one hits him in the chest knocking him down on his bottom. It knocked the wind out of him, he rubbed his chest as he looked over at the box which landed in front of him. He gets interested as the box in front of him says in faint marker, "Perry's Childhood Stuff!"
His dad's old things, now this is a big find, with great curiosity and interest Norman sits himself down as he pulled the box to him, he slowly opens the box and is met with a variety of old stuff. Slowly and carefully Norman took out some old toys like: a 80's toy car, lightsaber, a withered baseball, a flat football, and a He-man action figure. There is also a photo of his dad with his parents doing a pose in front of the grand canyon, Norman looked at the picture with a smile upon seeing his dad who was once his age having a good time, it was just something about seeing it which made him feel good.
Norman continue to look at the picture for awhile, until something else in the box catches his attention. Looking in the box Norman saw a stuff animal of a bear who's eyes were as blue as his and Aggie's eyes, the stuff bear is also wearing a top hat and bowtie. Norman carefully places the picture down, and leaned forward to get a closer look. He had no idea why this thing is getting all of his attention, it was just a stuff animal, but for some reason he could only focus his attention on this thing.
Slowly Norman reached for it, he picks it up and inspected it further by turning it around, looked at the sides, bottom, and the top, there were a few wear and tears but overall it was in nice condition. This bear was important for some reason, which is weird as he wasn't much of a stuff animals guy, but he couldn't bring himself to put it back in the box.
"I wonder if dad will be happy to see this thing?" Norman proceeds to take the bear to a table, after he placed it on the table, Norman puts all of his dad's stuff back in the box, he then closes it and paces the box on another stack.
He goes back to work on the other boxes, it was much later when he was finally done organizing the boxes; Norman who is more dirty and a bit sweaty is sitting against a big box. With all the work he did today, Norman is exhausted so he was taking in a much needed rest.
As he took this rest, he notices that it was really quite up here with the only sounds were those of squeaks coming from ghost mice who scamper around with mousetraps lodged in their necks. Norman glances over to the stuff bear that looked back at him from the table.
As he looked at the bear something strange began to happen, he started to hear a faint static sound; which was really strange as although it could've been the TV in the living room, it sounded like it was coming from the attic. Norman turns his head around trying to find find where the static is coming from. Then through his vision the attic glitches out like a computer with a virus, Norman jumped from this, through the years of seeing things Norman had never seen this before, he glanced back over to the stuff bear.
To his shock the bear's color had turned yellow and it's eyes went black with white dots, above the now yellow bear the words 'IT'S ME!' flashes above it. Then as quickly as it appeared, it disappears and everything else is normal as if nothing happen at all. Both surprise and frightened Norman frantically looked everywhere while breathing heavily wondering what just happened, he had visions before but never ones like that. He looked to the bear wondering why it turned yellow? Why were its eyes like that? And what did it's me mean?
He ponders these events that just happen when suddenly his sister's voice called up to him. "Norman get your butt down here!"
Norman gets up and heads for the ladder, of course not before grabbing the stuff bear. Norman goes down the ladder, closes it up, then went to the living room where his family is meeting in. Norman stood next to Courtney who stood in line with his dad and grandma who is just floating above him, his mother came into the room with a proud smile.
"Good job on the hard work everyone, we all worked hard today and that disserves a award." Perry, Courtney, and Norman perked up in interest, while grandma Babcock simply smiled. "So for dinner tonight we're going to order pizza."
The family smiled over this news, Sandra smiled back and then went off to order the pizza leaving her family in the living room, Courtney looked down to Norman and her face twisted into question when she saw the bear in her brother's arms.
"Aren't you a bit old for teddy bears Norman?"
"Oh, this isn't mine, I found this thing while cleaning the attic."
"Wait what did you find son?" Perry step aside from Courtney to get a look, Norman rose the bear in front of him. "Just this bear dad."
Perry's eyes widened in recognition, he gently took the bear out of his son's hands and brought it closer to get a better look, memories flashes through his minds, with these memories Perry smiled.
"I taken this bear was special to you dad?" Courtney asked which brought him out of his memories. "It is, this was my old Freddy Fazbear plushie that I won at Freddy's."
"Freddy's?" Norman and Courtney asked.
Perry nodded. "Freddy Fazbear's Pizza."
"What's that?"" Courtney asked.
"I'm not surprised you haven't heard of it since it's been closed down for years. But let me tell you when it was open, it was one of the greatest places in town for a kid to spend time in, almost every kid in town went to that place. It had great games, tasty pizza, and one of the greatest animatronic bands you would ever seen, my favorite one was Foxy the pirate."
"What happen to the place?" Norman asked.
Perry's smile faltered a bit. "I don't know, but something bad had happen to cause it to shut down, along with people reporting about the animatronics smelling bad. Every kid in town was disappointed over it's shut down, including me." Perry lets out a sad sigh. Without saying another word Perry left for the kitchen with the bear still in his hand.
"Dad sure liked that place." Norman commented.
"Tell me about it." Courtney added, her phone rings, Courtney immediately answered and then walked out of the room to have a more private conversation.
"Your father really did love that place, he would go there every chance he got." Grandma Babcock remarked.
"What ever happened to it?"
"I heard that the building is still standing on the outskirts of town, but that's probably a rumour though so I wouldn't worry about it." Grandma Babcock floats her way to the couch and began to knit, Norman stood there thinking about the pizzeria, though he didn't know why, it just sounded like a regular animatronic pizza place, so he shouldn't be that interested. However for some reason he couldn't stop thinking about it, or the weird thing that happen to him in the attic.
Maybe he'll forget about it tonight or tomorrow.
