Chapter 12: Heroic Resolve

Midoriya's P.O.V

"How's the crazy lady doing?" Bakugo asked from his place on Zora's shoulder. They made it out of the dungeon, but at what cost?

"She'll make it. I think" Midoriya said, laying her down against a tree.

"even though I tried my hardest…" Bakugo said "…We couldn't make it out there without a price. We were forced to leave the asshat behind." Zora put Bakugo down, and Bakugo stood up shakily, looking pissed off. "We storm the enemy again, and take the asshat!" he declared.

"No, you dumb little shit" Zora said "it is very probable that there are much more converted knights in there. We can't fight head-on while our best is in this shape." He looked towards Mereoleona.

"Hey, nerds." Bakugo said "Is it just me, or is the castle shaking?".

Looking at the enemy stronghold, Midoriya could see the slight vibrations and hear the faint sounds of a battle. 'What the hell is going on in there?!'. Not long after, Midoriya could see two bright objects immerged from the top of the structure, before proceeding to battle in mid-air. ´So cool! I wonder who is that? Could it be Yuno?'.

The battle was taking place far above them in the sky, and looked like a light show. Midoriya was relieved to see a black object immerged from the castle and pursue the two others in the sky ´thank goodness! At least I can rest easy knowing he is alive.'. Midoriya's relief was cut short when a giant laser beam lit up the sky, piercing through the castle and impact the ground, releasing a massive amount of debris in the process. One for All: Full Cowl 45% Midoriya launched a roundhouse kick at the incoming debris St. Louis Smash Air Force!

The created shockwave kept everything behind him safe, but he couldn't believe the amount of damage the surrounding suffered as a result. ´Who…Who used that attack? Wait a second…'.

"Shit…the asshat is there." Bakugo said "Let's go."

"Let's not" Zora replied "I'll go. You two carry Mereoleona over there" he pointed at a certain direction away from them "I can feel the mana of other people there. It's probably the survivors. Go.".

"Hmph." Bakugo replied, and Midoriya picked Mereoleona up gently.

After some walking, Midoriya heard a voice calling out to them "You two. Bring here over here.". turning around to look at the source, he saw Mel stand among the trees, and she started walking away, leading them to the rest of the surviving royal knights. ´It's not a lot, but it'll have to do. I hope Todoroki and Yaoyorozu are okay as well.'.

After a while, Yuno, Mimosa and Zora came back with an unconscious Asta, his clothes soaked. "I passed out!" Asta yelled, getting up "Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow, ow! My whole body hurts! And I'm soaked! Everything hurts!"

"If you don't shut your mouth, I'll kill you even harder!" Bakugo said.

"I just fought for my life! Can't you get me a little credit- ow, ow, ow, ow, ow!" Asta replied.

"Katsuki was actually worried for you" Zora said with a sneer.

"Really, Katsuki?" Asta asked with a starry-eyed look "Maybe you're not a really bad guy after all- ow, ow, ow, ow, ow!"

"I'm glad to see you made it out okay, Deku" Mimosa said "I feared that everyone else also turned into those things…".

"I'm just happy to see that everyone is safe for now" Midoriya said "but still, I'm worried about where that castle floated off to".

"Wait, you're right, where the heck did their hideout go?!" Asta asked.

"While you were asleep, it started heading towards the royal capital." Zora said.

"Wh-What?! Wait, Zora-ow, ow, ow, ow!"

"You actually came back alive…" Zora said "Just how lucky are you, you little shit?"

"Where's Mereoleona-ow, ow, ow, ow, ow, ow!" Asta asked.

"She is still having a nice nap" Bakugo said, pointing his thumb her way "Doesn't seem like she's waking up any time soon.

"Thank goodness we're all okay." Mel said, pulling her hood over her eyes, as she seemed to sink into her uniform.

"Hey, it's the bee girl and the Captain of the Silv-ow, ow, ow, ow!"

The Silver Eagles Girl came over to Asta, Yuno and Mimosa. "Open you mouth." She said, getting her grimoire out.

"Huh?"

She grabbed Asta's lower jaw, forcefully opening his mouth. "Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow, ow!". Golden Recovery Magic: Rejuvenating Golden Dew. A single drop of honey appeared out of thin her, before landing on Asta's tongue, after which she closed his mouth.

"Wow, thanks!" Asta said "It's both tasty and making my pain go away!".

"You're next." She turned to Yuno and Mimosa with a tired look.

"Thank you, Melaurea" Nozel said, coming up to them "But don't expend your strength. They can use this instead." He pulled out a strange item, that looks like an ornate cylinder with three sections. Magic Item: Eilia's Booth. Nozel activated the item, and a green, glowing cylinder appeared out of mid-air, surrounding Asta, Yuno and Mimosa. "It's a magic item that explosively heightens your body's natural healing ability. You lot can use it instead of pestering my knight."

"That's not needed, Captain. I have more than enough mana." Mel said with a blank expression.

"Aham." Nozel replied.

"Th-Thank you very much!" Asta said.

"Letting us use such a high-level magic item…" Mimosa said "Thank you so much, Nozel."

"Make way, assholes." Bakugo instructed.

"Kacchan, you're not that hurt." Midoriya said.

"Shut up!" Bakugo said "My arms are aching!".

"Your arms are aching?" Asta asked "But you didn't get hit once."

"Don't concern your little brain with my well-being, asshat." Bakugo said, getting a suspicious look from Yuno.

"Yuno, may all your owies…fly over to that brute!" The sylph said.

As a response, Bakugo snatched her out of the air, squeezing her in his smoking palm. "Let me give you some owies.".

"Katsuki, I know it's tempting, but please unhand Bell." Yuno said.

"Hmph." Katsuki threw her at Yuno. "Yuno…you saved me! I feel like I'm in love again!" Bell said, flying around Yuno's head. "Do you hurt anymore? Are you okay?".

"Yes."

"Thank goodness!"

"Everyone! You're safe!" a female voice said. Looking up, Midoriya could see Noelle and Kirsch flying towards them, suspended inside a bubble.

"Noelle!" Asta said in surprise.

"Noelle, and…"

"…a really beaten-up Kirsch!" Asta finished Mimosa's sentence "Mimosa's bro! Get your butt in here!".

As soon as Noelle landed, Kirsch coughed up some water, before striking his pose. "I'm still beautiful, even when I'm covered in blood."

"This is not the time for that!"

"I'm even beautiful when I'm being healed." Kirsch said, laying down on the grass inside the green cylinder.

"Who's this guy? Is he stupid, too?!" Bell asked.

"Noelle! Where are the others?" Midoriya asked.

"I'm not sure what happened, but both Luck and that Jesse kid turned into enemies."

"Even them?" Midoriya asked "that's not good. Just how many of the knights got turned?"

"The same happened with Klaus and Hamon." Mimosa said.

"No…"

"They're all pathetic" Yuno said.

"U-Uh…Look at you! A-Are you okay?" Noelle asked.

"Look at his jerk face, of course he's okay." Bakugo said.

"Captain Nozel! Captain Nozel, can you hear me!?" A voice emanated from Nozel's pocket. Hearing this, Nozel picked up what Midoriya assumed was a communication device. "What's the matter?" Nozel asked calmly.

"Captain Nozel! Thank goodness! I finally got through to you!" the voice spoke "A number of our squad members suddenly went berserk and started saying strange things like, "We're elves!". They have way more energy than usual! We can't handle them on our own! Apparently, similar incidents are happening with all of the squads. There's something going on all over the Kingdom-". the line was cut off, leaving everyone with a terrible silence.

"What's wrong? Come in."

"The same thing is happening all over the Kingdom?!" Bakugo asked "Just how many of these fuckers exist?"

"We are Magic Knights." Nozel spoke "We must save the Clover Kingdom, no matter what happens. Even if we have to kill our fellow Magic Knights."

"You're saying that as if it'll be easy fighting so much of them." Bakugo said "Besides, earlier, when we escaped from the enemy stronghold, we encountered five of them, four were converted. When I was about to blast them I took too long, but it seemed as though they gave me that split-second to blast them. I think…they might still be inside of those "elves"."

Katsuki's sentiment surprised everyone and left them with nothing but awkward silence. "Hey, you fuckers, say something! What I'm saying is, there must be a way to free them."

"Yeah, you're right, Katsuki!" Asta said "I mean, nothing is impossible, right?"

"Of course we can find a way." Midoriya said, looking into the night sky "We must. Heroes must save everyone."

Not long before that, in a field next to Hage Village

Endeavor's P.O.V

"Todoroki.". everything was black and cold, and Enji felt like a stone. "Hey, Todoroki". He felt something on his right arm. "Todoroki, wake up!".

Endeavor sat up, feeling the grass beneath him, smooth and cold. 'It's night? How could it be night?'.

"Todoroki, I have some bad news" Gran Torino said "How do the American's say? I don't think we are in Kansas anymore." He pointed towards the distance, to a giant, horned, three-eyed skull. 'What in the world?!'.

While Torino and the U.A girl woke everyone else up, Enji scanned his surroundings. Looking for any clues that'll help him identify where they are at, before seeing something that piqued his interest. "There's a village over there." He said "have you been there?".

"No." The young hero Nejire-Chan said "But it looks medival. I've never been in a place like this. Judging by our surroundings, I think we might be somewhere in Europe? But I can't tell, due to the obvious skull over there.

"Take care of the others, and come meet me there." Endeavor said, reigniting the fire on his body "I'll go and ask where the hell are we."

"I'll advise against the fire." Gran Torino said "just to be sure, go without it."

Without another word, Enji headed towards the village, turning his fire off.

Arriving at the village, all he could was simply-dressed people, looking up at the sky, as if they were looking for something. "Aham" he caught their attention "I am sorry if I'm disturbing you. I just wanted to ask something. Where am I? I think I have gotten lost.".

Endeavor's "lost man" act didn't seem to convince anyone, and he could even see a bunch of children get close to a nun that was holding a baby in her hands. "Do not be alarmed." He said "I am simply looking to get directions."

"You're in Hage Village of the Clover Kingdom" An old man in a priest's clothes answered "Where would you like to get directions too?".

Endeavor was about to speak when suddenly light radiated on the village. 'Light? Now?'. Looking at the direction of the light, he could see a floating mass that passed above the skull, above the village, and headed elsewhere, leaving everyone amazed.

"It's flying towards the royal capital." One man said.

"What the heck is that?" another asked.

"Those are my friends." An approaching voice said.

"Friends? That robe is a Magic Knight's robe." A kid that stood next to the nun said. 'Magic Knights? Are those people so isolated they regard quirks as magic?'.

"U-Um…Pardon me, Sir Magic Knight." The priest walked up to the red-haired man, who wore a purple robe on him.

"It appears that you humans have increased your numbers tremendously in the past few centuries." The red-haired man spoke. 'What is this guy talking about? Centuries?'. "This must be the region where the ones with the weakest magic reside. And as you move towards the center of the Kingdom, that's where the ones with the powerful magic reside. It appears that you humans still practice this senseless discrimination."

"He is a Magic Knight…right?"

"I think so."

"It appears that you weaklings are the ones being discriminated against now." The man continued speaking "You truly are selfish creatures.". 'What is up with that nutcase? Is he some kind of idealistic maniac?'.

"Wh-Who are you?" the priest asked.

"We do not discriminate." The man said "We will bring death upon all of you humans equally.". 'All right, that's where he crossed the line. He won't hurt anyone as long as I am is here.'. Endeavor started walking towards the priest. 'What is up with that floating book?'.

The book opened on its own, and its pages flipped around. ´What is he doing?'. Suddenly, out of nowhere, giant plants appeared behind him, and he was covered in a golden aura. Two vines shot towards the people, but the priest stepped in front of them. 'Plants, huh?'.

The priest never got hit, because Endeavor grabbed him, moving him out of the way, and sending a wave of flames to incinerate the plants without breaking a sweat. "Stand behind me, people." Endeavor said "I'll take care of this maniac."

"Oh? A foreigner?" the plant maniac spoke "You can walk away, this does not concern you."

"You are the one who should have walked away." Endeavor said, igniting the fire on his body "But once a villain threatens the lives of people, I can't just stand aside. This is your last warning. Surrender, or I'll set you ablaze."

"You must be confused." The plant maniac spoke "I don't know where did you pull those flames from, but there's no way a no-magic scum such as yourself can stand up to us elves, who are beloved by mana.". the pages flipped again, and the plants shot out their vines at Endeavor.

"Very well." Endeavor expanded the fire from his body, incinerating all the vines in an instant "I won't tolerate this any longer.". Endeavor condensed fire around his right fist, the flames burning hot as the people took their distance away from him Flashfire Fist: Hell Spider. Endeavor pointed his right hand at the man, with his fingers spread. With pinpoint accuracy, five heat rays pierced the man's body, all hitting non-vital spots. 'I kept it down as to not kill him, but the pain probably knocked him out.'. to Endeavor's surprise, the plants started disappearing around the downed maniac, disintegrating into light and vanishing in the air.

"Sister Lily! Brats! Father!" a loud voice called out from above Endeavor "Thank goodness you're all okay! We were told the village was under attack, so we came as soon as we could!". Turning around, he saw two boys, a black-haired one and one with ash-blond hair.

"talking of an attacker, where is he?" the black-haired boy asked.

A boy with brown hair that stood next to the nun pointed a shaky finger at Endeavor "H-He already defeated him.".

It seems that only when pointed out to them, the two boys realized Endeavor was standing there, his flame still ablaze. 'Those are probably the ones with the more powerful quirks.'. "You defeated him? Really-" the ash-blonde's eyes widened when his eyes were set upon the monster of a man who was Endeavor, and his still flaming body.

"Yes, I did" Endeavor said, walking away from them to check up on the guy he hit with his flames.

"How did he look like? A glowing aura? Weird face marks?" the ash-blond asked, coming up behind him.

"Yes." Endeavor said, slightly annoyed at the boy's voice.

"Wait, a man of fire… could it be?" the ash-blond mumbled to himself.

"Not yet…" the man said from the floor "I can't go out like this again!" he declared, blood trickling from his mouth "I'll have my revenge, one way or the other!". Endeavor heard a sound from behind him, and looking back, he saw a plant emerge from the ground next to people behind him.

"Look out!" the ash-blond cried out, seeing the plant emerge from the ground. It wasn't very big, but the effect was devastating, as it exploded in a thick, purple cloud.

Due to the kid's warning, most people managed to get away. Most of them, but one didn't. the old priest was caught in the cloud, and went into a coughing fit as he was brought to his knees.

Endeavor smashed his boot in the man's face, incapacitating him as the ash-blond ran back to the priest.

"Father! Please wake up!" one of the smaller kids begged the old man, that has now fallen onto the floor.

"Don't die!"

'That bastard… attacking innocent people like this…'.

Pulling out a large, black sword out of a floating book, the ash-blond crouched beside the priest, who was now covered in purple spots. 'Another one of those books. Actually, now that I think about that, everyone around here is wearing those books in pouches. What kind of quirk is that? How could everyone's power be so similar here?'.

After touching it to the man's head, the ash-blond cried out in frustration "Damn it! It didn't work!". 'What was he hoping to achieve by doing that? Does his quirk have a cleansing or healing effect, perhaps?'.

"Hey, stranger" the black-haired boy called out to Endeavor "Do you know any recovery spells?"

"I don't know any spells boy." Endeavor replied, approaching them with the villain on his shoulder "But I cannot heal, if that's your question.". 'Seeing all those kids lose someone is heart-wrenching, but I can't do a think about something like this. If we would've brought a healer with our search party, maybe they could've done something…'.

"Father! You've got this!"

"Is that you, Asta?" the priest asked, smiling "I got to see you and Yuno after you've grown so much. I couldn't ask for anything else. This must be my reward from God."

"What are you talking about?!" The ash-blond, Asta asked, and the priest put his hand on Asta's head.

"To think that little Asta has grown so much…Take care of…everyone for me..." the priest's hand has fallen to the ground, and Endeavor stood in solemn silence, moving away from them to give them space with their fallen.

"Not yet…Not yet, Father!" the ash-blond yelled "Don't die. You can't die! You still…You still need to see how much more I…how much more we can grow!". To Endeavor's surprise, an entire sword came out of the floating book, presenting itself to the boy. The boy gripped the sword, and it was enveloped in a weird aura.

He raised the sword, and the dark aura was sent over to the priest, erasing the purple spots on his body.

"Father!" one of the kids said as the old priest woke up.

"Wh-What's going on?" the priest asked "Is this a dream? I thought I died."

The ash-blond looked at the sword, as if coming to a realization. "Hey, you!" The ash-blond called out to Endeavor "Bring that guy over here. I think I can fix him.".

"What do you mean by "fix him"?" Endeavor asked.

"Oh, I didn't explain" the ash-blond rubbed the back of his head "those people are being controlled, they are not in control of their bodies. and I think I can free him."

Endeavor gave the boy a skeptical look "Very well.". he placed the man on the ground, and the ash-blond put his sword on the man's gut, letting the dark aura spread throughout the sword. And then, silence.

"I think it worked?" The ash-blond said.

"Yes. His weird mana disappeared. He's back to normal" the black-haired boy replied.

"Now that it's over," the ash-blond put his sword back into his floating book "I have a question. Do you by any chance…have a son? One with Dual-colored hair and eyes?".

'Could it be…?'

"Yes." Endeavor answered "I came here to look for him. Have you seen him?".

"Yeah, I did." The ash-blond answered, smiling "He's a part with my squad along with Izuku, Katsuki, and Momo. He told me his father was a man of fire, so I just had a feeling.".

"I see." Endeavor said, barely keeping his composure. "Are they all doing okay?".

"Yes, they are all perfectly fine." The boy answered.

"Good to hear. Would you mind telling me where are they exactly?" Endeavor asked.

"Now that's… a bit more difficult to say." Asta answered.

"What do you mean?"

"He means they are all scattered as of now." The black-haired boy spoke "Two of them, Katsuki and Izuku, are now heading for the royal capital to fight the enemies. 'Fight? I can't afford to put them in danger…but then again, they are heroes, they are probably fighting to protect.'.

"Well, anyway." Endeavor said "My colleagues should arrive any moment now. When they do, you are taking me over to find the kids." He declared to the ash-blond.

"Colleagues? What do you mean by that?" The boy asked, "how many of you are there?!".

"Todoroki" he heard Gran Torino called out to him, landing on the church "Everyone is ready to go, they are coming. Did you get your directions?".

"Better. I got us a guide." Endeavor said, looking at Asta.

"An old man just appeared out of nowhere!" the ash-blond exclaimed. Asta's surprise seemed to be immeasurable as the others walked into the village. "A walking tree, a bird man and Monster! Who are you people?!"

"We are heroes." Endeavor said "And we're here to take our kids back home."

After some catching up with their family, the kids were ready to move, and they all embarked on an ark made of wind the black-haired boy created.

"That's some really good control over your quirk" Edgeshot pointed out "You must be really proficient with it.".

"Of course he is!" a little fairy floating next to the boy said "Yuno is the strongest Magic Knight around!".

"Is that a person with a shrinking quirk?" Nejire asked "I've never seen something quite like this."

"I'm not a person, you ignorant girl! I'm Sylph, the Wind Spirit! And get away from Yuno right this instant!"

"What is this child talking about?" Nejire asked, and the black-haired boy just sighed. "It seems like other towns are under attack." He said "We need to split up and take out the attackers."

"But I'm the only one who can free them from the "Mind control"." The ash-blond said.

"That means that one team will have to capture the attacker alive and bring him over to the kid" Gran Torino said. "So we'll split ourselves like this. People who can capture easily will go with the wind-brat and the others with the loud-one. That means that Tsukuyomi, Gang Orca, Edgeshot, and Kamui woods will go with the wind-brat".

"That sounds like a plan!" the ash-blond said. And with that, the black-haired kid split the ark into two, sending them on their way.

As the got closer, the smoke rising from the city and the sound of explosions became clearer.

"You have to be kidding me…" the boy said as they got closer to the city "Those are my friends down there!". Looking down at the town, he could see three people. One laying on the ground and another one being lifted up by who Endeavor guessed was the enemy.

"Gran Torino…" Endeavor said "Do you think you can make it?".

"Of course." The elder answered, flying off towards the ground at incredible speeds.

"Whoa! He's really fast!" The ash-blond said.

"Don't worry, kid." Endeavor said "Gran Torino will make it to your friends in time.". Just as he said that, a cloud of dust erupted from where Gran Torino impacted the ground. "Just to be sure, let's go too.".

"Yessir!" Nejire said, and jumped off the ark with Endeavor, using her quirk to fly over to the battleground, with Endeavor following suit using his quirk.

"You guys! Wait up!" the ash-blond called out to them, staying on the ark.

As he got closer, Endeavor could see the situation more clearly. They had two people out of commission, and one electric maniac jumping around with Gran Torino. "Surrender, Villain" Endeavor instructed as he landed, blasting fire at the kid's direction.

The villain dodged, landing atop some rubble. "Who the hell are you?" he asked.

That prompted the two people that already lost to look at him. "You mustn't kill him!" a man with dual-colored hair said "He's our friend, so please…".

'Another one them, huh.'.

"Todoroki" Gran Torino called out to him "That guy is fast. Be careful."

"Don't worry. We are four against one." Endeavor said "Theirs is no way he can win. We'll crush him now."

"Four? But you're only three-" a pink-haired woman started saying, only to be cut off by the ash-blond boy. "Vanessa! Magna!".

"Asta!".

"I'll repeat myself." Endeavor spoke "Surrender. Now. You cannot win.".

The blond boy laughed hysterically in response, his crazed eyes scanning the new people on the scene. I don't know who you people think you are, but I'm gonna-" the boy was forced to dodged when Gran Torino appeared next to him in an instant, kicking at his direction and forcing him to evade.

"You sure are fast, Gramps." The blond said "But can you keep up?"

After some chasing, Gran Torino gave his response "I don't need to." He smiled, confusing the boy.

The blond was soon smashed into the ground by a wave attack from Nejire.

"That'll be enough." Endeavor stepped up to the crater, seeing the boy get up again "I'll incapacitate him with this.". he raised his hand, spreading fire all over the crater.

"What are you doing?!" the woman cried out "You'll kill him!"

"No, I won't." Endeavor said "Kid," he turned to the ash-blond "you're up next, be ready.".

"Yes, sir!" the boy responded, pulling out his black sword.

'I'll wear his protection out, and then we'll undo his conversion. With each person we free, we gain a new ally. Those guys are really cocksure of themselves, but they stand no chance like this, taking us on alone.'.

The blond boy leaped out of the fire pit, and Endeavor stood calmly, seeing his electric shielding has been worn out partially. "Do what's best for you, kid" Gran Torino flew in front of Endeavor, kicking the kid back into the pit. 'His speed is also diminishing, it won't take much longer.'.

"Do it, now!" Endeavor said, stopping the stream of fire.

The ash-blond leaped into the crater, ramming his friend with his sword. "Give him back!" he told the struggling blond.

He was struggling to no avail, and soon fell down, his eyes turning white.

The ash-blond got up from him, observing his handiwork.

"Does that mean he'll be good now?" Nejire asked.

"By the way, Asta…What the hell is that sword!?" the man named Magna asked.

"It turned Luck back to normal, didn't it?" the pink-haired woman asked.

"According to Yuno, it, uh, it takes magical effects…er, it basically sucks out the spell, as if it was never cast, or something…"

'Again with the magic stuff…that can't be possible, can it?'

"Ok…and what about your new friends over there?" Magna pointed at them.

"Oh, yeah. I forgot to introduce you." Asta said "the fire guy is Shoto's dad, and all those other weird guys are his friends. Most of them are with Yuno right now. I mean, you have to see it, they have a walking tree! How cool is that?".

Yami's P.O.V

Yami, Finral, Alfred and Momo were running towards the castle, where the Elves have decided to converge. After the elf Charlotte escaped from them, and he had to get Finral the sleeping beauty out of bad, Yami wasn't in a mood for more of these fuckers. ´How many of them are there?!'.

"I could honestly care less about the royals, but this Ki…" Yami said "Looks like a bunch of pretty tough characters got into the castle. W have to let the other guys handle the town. We're going in!"

"Are you sure, Captain Yami?" Momo asked "My qui- I mean, my power isn't really combat-oriented, I'm afraid I'll just weigh you down here."

"Let's worry about that later, alright?" Yami said as they finally reached the end of the staircase leading up to the royal castle. 'This…is a lot of fuckers…'.

"All of these guys are brimming with magical power!" Finral said "This is terribad!".

"Don't worry, young man" Alfred said "We'll capture all of them and advance."

"You aren't going to try to kill us? How naïve." One of the elves said.

"Nah, I have plenty of reasons to kill you." Yami said "At least, that you had the nerve to take that body, as if it belongs to you."

"Nonsense!" one of the elves launched an ice attack at Yami, only to have it absorbed by Alfred crystals.

"Yami!" Alfred called out to him "I'm getting low on crystals here, I need to let some go, so if you don't mind.". Sapphire Release Magic: Torment Canceler! Alfred released the absorbed spell of Marx upon the elves, sowing confusion amongst them.

"isn't that…"

"…how did he use that spell?"

Suddenly, an attack split the air, and the wall behind the elves, stirring up a dust cloud. 'So, he finally decided to show up, huh?'. "Damn it, you stupid bastards! Getting your bodies taken over…" Jack came through the dust "Talk about entertainment! Of course the ones who are most worth slicing up would show up at the castle, huh?"

"The Captain of the Green Praying Mantises, Jack the Ripper!" Finral exclaimed.

"Geh. Did our reinforcements really have to be this weirdo?" Yami asked.

"What? You wanna get sliced open first, Yami?" Jack said.

"Actually, you already almost got me." Yami replied "Welp, I'm glad you didn't on us, you giant string bean!"

"Who'd get taken over with this much fun to be had, you stupid meathead?!"

"We won't let any of you leave alive, humans!" one of the elves said, casting a spell. Corundum Magic: Ideal Closer! His spell formed a giant suit of armor around him, taking even one of Jack's slashes. "You won't be able to cut through my magic with that.".

Meanwhile, Yami engaged the ice and poison elf, while Alfred and Jack engaged the other elves.

"Your moves are totally obvious." The ice elf said, blasting him with ice shards.

"This is such a pain in the ass." Yami said. Dark Magic: Dark Cloaked Lightless Blade Storm. Yami launched a barrage of dark slashes to destroy the elves' incoming attacks. 'It's taking all I have to read their Ki and dodge their attacks-'. Yami was forced to evade an incoming attack from his own dumbass friend, who was ferociously hacking at the enemies with his magic blades. 'The crazy dude's being even crazier than usual.'.

"Hey, you get it by now, don't you, you giant sting bean weirdo?" Yami asked.

"Hell yeah I do." Jack replied. Severing Magic: Death Scythe! This time, when Jack's attack connected, it sliced right through the elf's armor. "There's nothing I can't sever. All right, now show me you're worth slashing apart!"

Seeing that one of the elves dropped his guard in surprise, Yami moved in to strike. Dark Magic: Dark Cloaked Lightless Blunt Strike! The attack connected, rendering the elf unconscious. "Finral!" he called out to his ride.

Spatial Magic: Fallen Angel Gate! A portal was opened for Yami, and he disappeared into it.

Appearing behind the elves, he knocked the both of them out with one blow.

"Heck yeah! Great job, you two!" Finral said.

"Sorry I couldn't be more helpful" Momo said.

"You should stop apologizing all the time" Yami said "It's really annoying."

"Y-Yes, sir" Momo replied.

"U-Ummm…Yami…" Finral said "What is that thing!?". He pointed at an approaching rock, that looked like a flying castle built into a boulder.

"There's something crazy in there!" Jack said "Looks like this is gonna be even more fun now."

"There's absolutely nothing fun about this! Not in the least!" Finral said "That's probably the enemy's hideout, isn't it? That's super bad! Why are there even more crazy enemies now?!".

"The enemy hideout…so the royal knights have been unsuccessful" Momo realized, looking at the giant structure.

"Damn it…" Alfred said "these strong enemies are just coming out of the woodworks."

"Who invited that giant rock?" Yami asked "But look, a little bird has also arrived. Welcome home, royals." He looked at the passengers on the bird "Wait…that's…"

"It's been a while, Psycho Captain." The red-haired man said "I finally joined the Magic Knights, since the rest of you are all so damn useless."

"Who are you?" Yami asked.

"I'm a member of your squad! The one that's filled with troublemakers!" The man said, putting on a Black Bulls robe. 'Where did he keep that?'. "You'd better take responsibility for giving me this robe, you random-ass captain!"

'Took you long enough, dumbass. How long were you going to make me wait?'. "You better work hard to make up for being so late, Zora!" Yami said "So, where the hell have you been, Captain Royalty? Your house is a huge mess right now.".

"If you waste too much time, we're gonna beat you into the castle!" Jack said, and he and Yami ran inside.

"Wait up, muscle head!" Katsuki yelled behind him.

"We're gonna go to the king, So you guys can figure out what to do about your house!" Yami said "The enemy's powerful. Don't try to take them down recklessly. Your only goal is to rescue and retreat!"

"I'll go with the Silva's, then" Alfred said "I don't think my magic will do you any good against Langris."

"Then I won't come as well." Momo said "I will go rescue the people at the Vermillion castle."

"None of you bastards better die, got it?!" Yami said.

"Who is going to die, muscle head?" Katsuki asked "What do we do?".

"Isn't it obvious?" Jack said "We are heading straight for the king. That's where the most powerful guys will be.".

As they approached the castle's main hall, Yami's ears picked up a weird sound to find at a place like this. A flute. 'Seriously? All the Goldies are like this?'.

"I'm sorry, but I think this will be as far as you go" a voice said "We can't have you interrupt Ratri's work.". ´Even the two vice-captains turned into elves…their magic is so thick now, it's crazy'.

"Yami, Jack, we need to move fast, or Langris will kill the king!" Finral said.

"So go," Izuku said, green lightning dancing on his body "We'll fight them here."

"Thanks, shrimp!" Yami said as he, Jack and Finral ran over to the door, and Midoriya and Katsuki launched their assault.

Midoriya's P.O.V

Midoriya couldn't believe what he was seeing when he got to the capital. There were so many of the elves, and they terrorized the city without any problem. ´There are so many of them, and every elf up until now was a magic knight-' Midoriya's senses kicked in at the last second to save him from an elf's attack. ´Thinking is for later! Focus!'.

"Yield, humans" Vice-Captain Palladia said, or well, the elf that controlled her. ´It's kind of weird now that I think about it. It seems like the majority of them are Golden Dawn members….could there be a reason for this?' Midoriya dodged another attack 'Maybe I'm just think too much into this.'.

"Move, Deku!" Bakugo yelled, jumping off of his back and blasting an attack away "Get your head in the game!".

"Thanks! You're right!".

"You're both quite fast, and your instincts are good." Palladia said "so we'll just need to take care of you another way.". Platinum Weakening Magic: Haze of the War God. A circle of silver runes appeared next to her, before launching a cloud of silvery particles, that filled the whole hall. 'What the hell is this?'.

Midoriya heard a low rumble, before his instincts got him out of the way of a glacier. 'My senses…Sight, sound, smell…It's so hard to sense stuff coming now…and my limbs feel like their made of lead! I must escape this fog before someone manages to hit me…'. One for All: Full Cowl 25%!

´Find a wall, a window, something!' Midoriya ran towards an uncertain direction, the fog around him not letting him see far beyond himself. Midoriya heard another low rumble, and jumped out of the way in an attempt to evade the attack. Although he managed to evade most of it, the attack still grazed him, slashing the side of his stomach. 'Maybe I could try and sense their mana…'. Midoriya concentrated, trying to find "the flow", but only found something else. ´It's so…docile. It's like the mana in here took the form of mist. I can't detect them!'.

A slight whistling noise pierced the air, indicating an incoming attack.

Midoriya did his best to evade, but a stone dagger still managed to imbed itself in Midoriya's left arm.

´I have the to get out of here, now.' Midoriya prepared to jump ´If I can't find a wall…I jump to the ceiling!'. Midoriya shattered the floor beneath him as he gave a mighty leap, putting his hands above his head as protection. Soon after he felt an impact, and then, he could see properly again.

Midoriya landed beside the hole he made in the castle's roof, taking fresh breaths of air. ´Shit, Kacchan is still in there, I have to-' Midoriya heard a faint sound, and soon after another segment of the roof exploded, and out of it, climbed Bakugo, covered in cuts.

"I'm glad you're okay, Kacchan"

"Don't be glad" Bakugo said "Our enemies are still down there. If they didn't notice us coming up here, they'll probably-".

"Nice try, humans." The elves appeared from the hole Bakugo made in the roof "But there's no escape from here.".

"You wanna bet?" Bakugo asked "In the air, I hold the advantage!" he blasted of into the air to attack the flying elves "Come on, you damn nerd, let's go!". And with that, Midoriya jumped into the air after his friend.

"I don't think so." Another elf said, levitating near the roof. Clay Binding Magic: Imprisoning of the Sinner. Several large hands made out of clay appeared out of nowhere, closing in on Midoriya and restraining him so only his head pocked through the clay. ´This magic…is really strong.' Midoriya struggled against the bind, with his hands only sinking deeper into the clay.

"Ah ah ah. This spell will be harder to break out of the more you struggle, so by all means, continue." The elves said.

´I need another way to break free…' Midoriya relaxed his body '…A violent spin of the body…' the power of One for All surged through his body, and he willed it to spin around in the clay that surrounded him Oklahoma Smash! With extreme force, Midoriya forced the clay off of him, creating a small twister around him.

"What…What is this magic?"

"Never mind that," the elf that stood beside him said "Let's kill him right now".

Wood Creation Magic: Cleansing Stakes.

Clay Magic: Coarse Blunt Strike.

One elf created a whole lot of wooden spikes, while the other one created several maces out of clay.

"I won't let you kill anyone else!" Midoriya said, twisting his lower half, making a roundhouse kick. St. Louis Smash Air Force 30%! The resulting shockwave from the kick blew both attacks away. 'I can't let them kill people against their will…and I can't let anyone get hurt'.

Midoriya lunged at the two surprise elves, cocking his fist back. Smash! Midoriya smashed his fist into one of the elves' gut, sending him into a structure on the roof, before turning around, kicking the other elf in the back, sending him flying into a metal clover decoration, the metal caving under the impact. 'Finally done.'.

Looking at the sky, he saw Katsuki blast an elf into the roof with an explosion, but still wasn't able to take down the last elf. ´She's giving him a lot of trouble…but I can't fight up there.'.

"DIE!" Bakugo blasted another explosion, missing again.

"Disappear, humans!" Palladia said. Platinum Magic: Wrath of the Valkyries! A whole lot of runes circles appeared behind her, and out of them came silvery spears, who split apart. Some attacked Bakugo while some went after Midoriya.

Midoriya jumped away from the roof, landing on a dome, avoiding most of the spears, who ran into the roof, demolishing it, while some continued chasing Midoriya. ´They're homing! I can't maneuver here so well!'. Midoriya jumped to the other side of the dome, before kicking the dome, sending rubble at the spears.

´They're still coming!' Midoriya cocked his fist backward New Hampshire Smash 45%! Midoriya blew himself away quickly from the path of the spears with a wave of pressurized air sent the other direction, deflecting the incoming spears. ´Prepare to land!'.

Midoriya impacted the hall's floor, cratering it, and stirring up a cloud of dust around him.

´I have to get back up there, Kacchan is still fighting.'. Midoriya shook the dust of his hair, and jumped back up to the roof again, Seeing Kacchan still fighting in the air. Platinum Reinforcement Magic: Tyr's Blessing. The elf in the sky glowed with rune circles on her body, before flying away from Katsuki's explosion. ´She's…She's gotten faster!'.

Platinum Magic: Wrath of the Valkyries. This time, her magic summoned countless more spears, which all converged on Bakugo. "Kacchan!" Midoriya cried out to his friend, who lit up the roof with a powerful explosion.

´I can't see anything with the smoke.'. "Kacchan!".

"Rest easy, warrior." The elf calmly said, as Midoriya could see a dark figure coming through the smoke. The figure turned to be Bakugo. A Bakugo with four spears embedded in his body.

Power coursed through Midoriya's body as he jumped up into the air to catch his fallen friend.

"It seems like…" Bakugo said, a single tear appearing at the corner of his eye "…I wasn't strong enough…".

"Don't worry, Kacchan!" Midoriya said "Just stay with me, I'll get you to a healer."

"I don't think you're going anywhere." The elf said "I respect you as warriors. But you'll both fall today.".

"I don't think so." Midoriya replied "We have people waiting for us.".

´If she powered up, I'll power up too,' Midoriya concentrated, using his Ki to allow the mana to enter him Mana Enhance – One for All!

´She has the absolute advantage in the air,' Midoriya got into a stance ´I can't maneuver like Kacchan or Gran Torino in mid-air, but I must try…' Midoriya looked back at his bleeding friend ´If I can't win…we both die.'.

Midoriya leaped into the air, cocking his fist Detroit Smas-.

"A valiant attempt," the elf said "But the battle ends here.". she summoned more spears to attack, launching them at Midoriya.

´I…I can't evade…' Midoriya's brain seemed to stop working at the face of the circumstances 'I have to move…I have to move! Move!'. Midoriya's mental efforts seemed to bear fruit as he suddenly moved to the side unnaturally, just to face another spear. ´That feeling… do it again!'. Midoriya dodged aside again, extending an enhanced version of Blackwhip from his hands to catch some of the incoming spears, clearing the way to the elf.

"I can't lose." Midoriya declared, throwing the spears aside and cocking his right fist back "Not when there are lives on the line!". Detroit Smash! Midoriya's fist was imbedded in the elf's gut, incapacitating her.

Midoriya caught the vice-captain's unconscious body as they both fell towards the roof.

"Damn nerd…" Bakugo said weakly "How…the fuck…did you learn to float?".

Looking at his feet, Midoriya realized he was flowing a few inches above the ground. "Wha-" Midoriya flailed his legs "How do I stop that?!".

Bakugo side in response, breathing in shallow breaths.

'Stop floating! I have to get Kacchan out of here!'.

After Midoriya dropped his concentration, releasing his mana enhancement, he relaxed, and stopped floating. 'This ability…I have to talk to all might about it…' Midoriya looked into the distance ´…Once we get back. That is, if we do.'.

"Kacchan, how are you feeling?" Midoriya asked, kneeling next to his friends.

"What do…you think, asshole?" Bakugo said, breathing weakly in between his words "Get me some…healer, or I'll…blow you to hell."

"Of course," Midoriya smiled, trying to reassure his friend "But, I can't move you…and I don't know where we can find a healer." Midoriya scanned the environment thoughtfully, hoping for a plan to jump to mind.

"That…Flower girl…is in the…castle…right?" Bakugo asked.

"Right! Mimosa should be at the Vermillion Castle!" Midoriya said "I'll go get her, stay put." Midoriya said, turning away 'I hope Mimosa can do something about those injuries…None of my friends will die before returning home!'.

Midoriya overlooked the plaza between the three royal castles, before jumping off to the ground, cratering the ground on impact. ´The Vermillion castle…' Midoriya looked around, seeing a huge, dark form arise from the royal castle. ´What the hell is that?! No time to think about it, Kacchan's dying!'.

"Mimosa, Kirsch!" Midoriya had called out to his friends as he arrived at the completely destroyed room. 'They're engaged with an elf…but there's no time to waste!'. Texas Smash! Izuku delivered a fist accompanied by air pressure that launched the elf away. "Deku!" Mimosa said in surprise "Thank you!".

"Midoriya, are you done with your opponents?" Yaoyorozu asked.

"Listen, there's no time to waste!" Midoriya said "Mimosa, Kacchan has suffered a mortal injury, he needs a healer, now!".

"Wha-" seeing the desperate look in Midoriya's eyes, she stopped. "Of course, where is he?".

"On the roof of the royal castle" Midoriya said "Do you think you'll get there in time?"

"Yes-" Midoriya decided it would be faster if he just carried her, and he picked her up bridal style, before leaping out of the broken room, heading for Bakugo.

After a couple of leaps, Midoriya landed on the roof, seeing his injured friend, who was now laying down in a pool of blood. "Here, Mimosa." Midoriya put her down, and she ran over to Bakugo, kneeling beside him and activating her magic.

"Wait, Deku" Mimosa said "Can you feel it? Something is approaching. Something powerful."

Deku looked around, spotting the huge hideout of the elf's, which was now much closer. ´I was so busy, I didn't even notice it.'.But the more formidable thing was the group of elves that approached the castle. Midoriya concentrated, tapping into "the flow". ´What's with this disturbance? That is probably where the strongest of the elves are.'.

To Midoriya's surprise, something even more amazing appeared out of thin air. A portal. And out of the portal, and out of the portal, appeared a large construct in the shape of a bull. "Everyone! Are you okay!" Bellowed a voice out the bull, who was now standing on two.

"Don't worry, everyone! We're no one suspicious!" Asta's loud voice bellowed from the bull "We're the Black Bulls, here with some other guys who ended up joining us for reasons!".

"No way…" Midoriya smiled "…those guys just don't fail to surprise me.".

"Curse you, humans! It doesn't matter how many of you show up!" Elf Klaus said "You're no match for us elves!". The elves descended upon the Black Bulls, but a Midoriya the bull changed form, growing cannons, and blasting several kinds of magic to chase the elves away.

"Curse you, take this!" Klaus said, launching a bunch of spinning drills at the bull.

To Midoriya's surprise, a door opened in the bull's chest, and out came a man, who blast fire upon the attack, melting it away. "No way…" tears emerged out of the corners of his eyes "…they're here…They're here!" Midoriya smiled a huge, sincere smile, all while crying tears of joy. "Kacchan, they're here!".

Beside endeavor, Gran Torino, Midoriya's teacher and Nejire Hado, his senior, both emerged, from the bull, taking out two of the elves in mid-air with their quirks. "Who's here, Deku?" Mimosa asked, turning around "And why are you crying? Did something happen?".

"Our friends…they came for us." Midoriya said, wiping his tears away.

"Well, of course they did, we're all in this together" Mimosa said.

"Not those friends…" Bakugo said "…The nerd means, our friends from home."

Looking back at the Black Bulls fighting off the elves, he saw that another elf has floated down to the bull. Soon after, the upper section and head od the bull was gone, and the edges of the bull were ablaze with a weirdly colored purple fire. ´What the hell was that!?'.

Seeing that all the heroes were still okay, Midoriya felt good. He didn't want anyone to die today.

Midoriya's attention was sidetracked when he saw a whole bunch of mirrors appear next to the bulls, and then he saw another elf, presumably, Licht, throw his light magic against them, making them bounce around the mirrors, and through the bull, demolishing it completely.

No one hit the floor, as the three heroes, grabbed them all mid-air, and Todoroki made a slide made out of ice for himself. ´Thank goodness. That combination magic is insane. I need to go over and help.'.

"Mimosa," Midoriya turned around "Can I leave you here? I'm going over to help them."

"Sure, I'll be okay." Mimosa said "Just…be careful Deku."

"Of course" he said as he jumped off the roof, landing on the plaza below before running over to his friends.

"If that elf with the Mirror magic is Gauche, could that little girl be…Marie? Do elves reincarnate as siblings?'.

Suddenly, a whole bunch of new mirrors appeared all around his friends, and soon. They stopped moving. 'What is happening?'. Out of the corner of his eye, he could see the little girl in the mirror, looking at his friends. ´Could it be…her magic?' Midoriya looked at Gauche and his sister ´Then I'll have to get rid of them first' Midoriya jumped up on a building ´I'll take Gauche out, and then apprehend his sister.'

"Eclat," Gauche said calmly, noticing Midoriya "Look at him.".

The little girl turned to look at Midoriya, and her eyes glowed pink. ´What the hell…is this?'. Midoriya couldn't move his body anymore, and he fell down, sliding on the ground before coming to a halt due to his momentum.

"Now," Gauche floated a Mirror towards Midoriya "you can die, human."

"Kid!" a white blur appeared next to Gauche, kicking Gauche away through the mirror before he could react. ´That's…Gran Torino!'.

"Just lay down there and stop fighting." Gran Torino said "we'll have you return that body soon enough."

"How dare you…" Gran Torino was surrounded countless more mirrors "How dare you touch me, filthy human!".

The elder hero jumped away, as the place he was just standing on was pulverized by light beams. Several light beams began circulating around the mirrors, surrounding Gran Torino and threatening to hit him should he make a wrong move.

Suddenly, flames incinerated the mirrors above Gran Torino, while the elder managed to smash the remaining ones using his superior speed. ´That means they can move again! But how? Is there a time limit to the spell?'.

"Deku!" Midoriya heard Asta called out his name, and soon after, he was freed from the paralysis as well.

"Asta?" Midoriya got up "How did you do it?"

"I got this cool new sword" Asta presented the sword, which was wider at the end than near the hilt. "Apparently, it can take away magical effects, or something…".

"Tell me all about it later" Midoriya said "We have to save Gauche first."

Asta smiled "You see, I can use this sword to free all the people possessed by the elves. But it does take some time, so I can't just do it."

"Really?" Midoriya asked "That's incredibly useful!" Midoriya turned to look at Gauche, who was trying to attack Gran Torino. "Endeavor, Todoroki and Nejire can't attack head-on, for fear of hitting Marie…that means we'll have to take him out ourselves".

"Of course we will!" Asta said "We have to get our friend back!"

Asta and Midoriya both ran to join Gran Torino on the offense, but Gauche had other plans for them, it seems. A mirror appeared next to Asta and Midoriya, transporting them to another mirror, way up in the sky above. "Listen, kiddos." Gran Torino said, grabbing them both by their shirts and carrying them away a light beam that threatened to hit them. "Get your head in the game. I thought you knew this guy."

"Of course we do, but he is way stronger now!" Asta replied.

"Listen," Gran Torino said "Most of our fighters either can't fight or are gone, so we have to beat this guy as fast as we can. A drawn-out battle against people like them doesn't seem like a good idea.".

"Got it, Old guy!" Asta said.

"The name's Gran Torino" the old hero said "Now, move it!". Gran Torino flung both of them away, and they landed on a flying platform.

"Are you ok, you two?" Gordon asked.

"Gordon! I can finally understand you!" Midoriya said.

"Get…inside…Quickly!" the blue-haired guy said, and both Midoriya and Asta got into the booth. ´It's too crowded here!'.

Looking back at Gauche, he saw Gran Torino needed to take some distance, as Gauche summoned more mirrors, this time blasting the flying vehicle. Transformation Magic: Magic Conversion – Mirrored Mini Black Bull! The transformation Magic changed the exterior of the bull to mirrors, reflecting Gauche's attacks. ´So she can convert magic types now? That's totally awesome! I need to make a handbook to record all the amazing abilities I come across here. In second thought, it might be too late for this…'.

"Like it'd actually be that easy." Gauche said, transporting the vehicle to a mirror above him, before blasting it in the back, and this time, Midoriya could feel the impact. ´It hit! How?'. With no time to thing, Midoriya jumped out of the vehicle's wall, catching Asta with Blackwhip. ´We're close enough, I think…this is going to work!'. Todoroki erected an ice wall, encapsulating the vehicle's bottom side and preventing it from crashing.

"Go, Asta!" Midoriya threw Asta, sword in hand, at Gauche.

"Don't think it would be that easy." Gauche said, and a huge Mirror appeared above Asta. ´Oh, no!'.

"Don't you forget about your opponents" Gran Torino crashed through the mirror, providing Asta with a safe passage. "Go, Kiddo!".

Gauche summoned a whole bunch of mirrors in a line in front of him to try and stop Asta, but the latter shattered them all easily, hitting Gauche and knocking him away. "Gauche!"

Gauche landed on the ground, still hugging his sister.

"I need you to return those bodies to Gauche and Marie." Asta said "They're our precious friends."

For a moment, it seemed like Gauche will go crazy like the other elves, but instead…he calmed down and spoke. "Do as you will." He put his hand over Marie's head "I'm sorry, Eclat.".

"No…I'll always stay with my gentle big brother."

"Then I'm sorry about this," Asta placed his sword gently on top of Gauche "but I'm taking my friends back.". a circle of strange letters appeared on the ground, and black wisps rose from Gauche and Marie's bodies.

"A convenient power that can make it so that something never happened…" Gauche spoke "Do you think such a thing exists? Actions come with consequences. You can't escape that. Make sure you never forget that, human.".

"I'll never forget you two." Asta said, and everyone watched solemnly as the circle disappeared.

"Another one freed." Endeavor folded his hands across his chance "Midoriya." Endeavor turned to the young hero "I hope you're ready. Once we're finished here, we're going back. We finally can.".

"Wait, go back where?" Asta asked, hearing Endeavor.

"Home" Midoriya said, a wide smile on his face.

"Woah, seriously? You're going back home?" Asta asked "I always wanted to know where you came from! Do you think I could come and see where you live?".

Midoriya rubbed the back of his head, looking at Endeavor. "We'll discuss that later." Endeavor said "Now, let's focus on the mission at hand.".

"Yessir!" Asta said.

"I…I'm so glad I didn't…hurt anyone." Midoriya heard a girl behind him cry.

"Just be glad everyone's okay." Todoroki said, putting his hand on Marie's head to reassure her.

"How stupid are you people?" Gauche asked "If you're safe, that's all that matters! You were about to die for someone else! And now, our precious hideout is reduced to rubble! I'm only ever thinking about Marie and myself! As long as we're safe, I don't care about anything else! I only ever joined the Black Bulls for our own sake! I never planned on being buddy-buddy with all of you! And deep down inside, I don't trust a single one of you bastards!".

"Why did you want us to save him?" Gran Torino asked "He can't even say "thank you"?".

"You should've just left me alone!"

"Midoriya" Endeavor called him over "We're still missing two people. Where are Bakugo and Yaoyorozu?".

"Bakugo is up there." Midoriya pointed at the distant roof of the castle "He's having his injuries treated. As for Yaoyorozu…I saw her earlier in the Vermillion castle" Midoriya pointed towards the castle.

"Suddenly, cracks started appearing in mid-air, spewing lightning and fire out of them. "What is that?" Endeavor asked.

Soon, out of the cracks, appeared two objects. One, a purple-haired girl wearing a white dress, and the other, a cotton cloud, carrying their allies.

Midoriya saw both Luck and jumped at the elf, blasting her with their full power, before falling to the ground, with the rest of them. Gran Torino moved out of the way right before a big cotton cushion landed on top of the Black Bulls. "Midoriya. I had that suspicion from the time I met my first opponent here…could it be that they're using magic? Actual magic?" Endeavor asked.

"Yeah." Midoriya said "It was weird for us at first. But after a while, you start to understand it.".

"I see." Endeavor said, looking at the Black Bulls' reunion, as they tried to force-feed Todoroki "You know, this means that the technology developed to be able to save you, might have much greater implications from what we thought."

"What do you mean?" Midoriya asked.

"While you were gone, a new group of organized crime has reared its ugly head." Endeavor said "I'll tell you all about it once you are allowed to come back to my agency. But just to clear things up, they're obsessed with cutting edge research, and exploring the unknown. That includes quirk replication and synthesis, human experiments, and much more. But their leader is still unknown.".

"I see…" Midoriya said.

"That's right kiddo," Gran Torino said "A lot of people miss you back home." The short man patted Midoriya on the thigh. "Good job not dying, kid.".

"Yeah, Midoriya" Nejire said, eating some food Charmy gave her "Mirio especially, was really said. But Eri doesn't know you're gone. She thinks you're just away.".

"Please, don't remind me." Midoriya said, before realizing something "Wait, how did you cover up our disappearance for this long?!"

"First of all, it's not completely covered. Your parents know, and your classmates know too. It just didn't go public. People that should know, know." Gran Torino said "Secondly, it has only been about…two months? Maybe more?".

"There's no way…I'm sure it has been more than half a year by now!" Midoriya said.

"No, it definitely wasn't half a year by now." Nejire replied "But I guess you can ask the scientists about it once we come back. they did say there might be some, well, abnormalities".

Even in the midst of a fierce battle for survival, the picture before Midoriya was quite calming. His friends just forgetting about their situation…there was something really tranquil about it. ´There has to be an answer…I'm sure it wasn't only two months since we came here!'.

"Deku!" Midoriya heard Mimosa call out to him.

Turning around to look at her, he could see Yaoyorozu with her, and Kirsch carrying Bakugo.

"Wait…who are those people?!" Midoriya heard Noelle ask.

"Ummm…" Midoriya rubbed the back of his head. ´I think we need a proper introduction, but I don't want to bother them with unnecessary things right now.'. "These are people from our home, and they're helping us combat the elves. Once this is all over, I promise I'll give you a better explanation.".

"All right, but for now…" Charmy said "Captain Yami and Captain Mantis already entered the shadow palace. So we're gonna recover our mana and then go help!".

"Of course!" Everyone agreed unanimously.

"Here, La." Charmy said, giving Endeavor a bowl of food.

"Thank you, child" Endeavor said "But none of us need this.".

"huh?".

"I have no Idea what mana is, but I do know we don't need it for our quirks." Endeavor explained.

´Oh. I never told them about quirks.' Midoriya's face went black as he realized that he never warned them about talking about quirks.

"Quirks?" Vanessa asked "What do you mean by quirks?".

"Quirks are a part of our bodies." Midoriya explained "The reason we can't use magic, but still use unnatural power, is because we are born with such abilites. Endeavor, for example, can use fire, real fire, with no magic.".

"I see" Asta said "So that woodman and the black monster from earlier, they're just a people with quirks? Can quirks really make you so unique? That's so awesome!".

"But, wait." Gauche spoke up "That's nice and all, but where do you come from? There's no way such abilities can exist without anyone ever stumbling upon them.".

"Well, let's just say…we live very far away." Todoroki said.

Midoriya heard something clatter on the ground as Luck put his bowl of food down and got up.

"What's wrong?" Magna asked.

"They're coming."

Just as Luck said, two elves charged them.

"Too slow!"

"Die!"

"Step back." Endeavor said, blasting an intense wave of heat, incinerating both attacks before they had a chance to even get close. After both attacks were destroyed, both elves were bound be fiery bindings.

"Woah! You can bind, too?" Asta asked.

"No, it's not mine."

"We're sorry for being late." A voice said, and soon after, both Fuegoleon and Mereoleona revealed themselves, with Fuegoleon being accompanied by a dragon.

"Captain Fuegoleon! I'm so relieved that you're awake!" Asta said "Wait, and you've got Salamander, too?!".

"Ah, Asta. It appears you've gotten stronger during my slumber." Fuegoleon said.

"Heck yeah! I'm totally ripped!"

"Mereoleona! I heard you were supposed to be resting for at least one more day!" Midoriya said "Are you sure you should be up?"

"Who cares, Shrimp?" Mereoleona asked "I see you've gotten some new friends, too."

"Hey, it's not time to get all buddy-buddy!" Magna said "Look over there!". He pointed towards the hole in the middle of the dark silhouette of castle. "Look at that hole, is it just me, or is it getting smaller?!"

"Oh, no!" Mimosa said "We have to hurry! One of the elves told us that if they place the final magic stone into the pedestal inside the palace, the reincarnation will be complete, and the souls of the humans who owned the bodies will go to the underworld!".

An explosion happened next to them, and out of it appeared a bunch of new elves, all from the Golden Dawn. "How dare you…" Alecdora said "You humans!".

"The Golden Dawn's senior knights…" Zora said "Really? Right now?".

"There are no limits to my beauty, but apparently, that was the end of my beautiful magic."

"Captains, head to the Shadow Palace!" Vanessa said "We, the Black Bulls, will take care of them! As long as Charmy and I are here, we won't die!"

"Leave it to us, la!"

"Asta, you go too!" Midoriya said "You are the only one who can reverse the spell, so start with the strongest ones!".

"Roger!" Asta replied "Everyone, I wish you luck!"

"There are still a lot of people taken over by elves over here, so hurry back!" Magna said.

"I-I'll go, too-" Noelle was cut off by Kirsch "They'll also need a wizard with recovery magic. Go with them, Mimosa. My beauty and I shall beautifully support everyone here."

"Right!"

"Noelle!" a voice yelled "You go too!". Turning around to look at the source, he could see Solid stand atop the castle's wall "I'll admit it…You're definitely stronger than me right now. But I'm going to surpass you someday! Because I'm your older brother! So go, and make sure you come back. Your pride as a royal…As a part of the Silva family is at stake!"

"Indeed. I'll come back, no matter what, Solid!"

"I'll go too-" Midoriya said, but a hand was placed on his shoulder.

"No. I think that'll be enough" Endeavor said "I can't send you off when I can't guarantee your safety."

"But, Endeavor-"

"That's why I'll come too." Endeavor said "but if the battle gets too dangerous, I expect you to fall back. Understood?".

"Yes, sir!" Midoriya answered.

"All right, here we go!" Mereoleona said.

"Don't fall behind!" Fuegoleon said, and after Mimosa and Mereoleona boarded his dragon, they took off.

"Come." Nozel said, swooping down on a silver eagle.

"Let's go, Midoriya." Endeavor grabbed Midoriya by the back of the shirt, before taking off, propelling himself with his fire.

"We won't let you!" Alecdora announced, and the elves attempted to attack the knights heading to the shadow palace, only to have their attacks blocked by the rest of the Black Bulls. ´They really are reliable!'.

"Here we go! To the Shadow Palace!" Asta exclaimed.

After they all entered the hole that led to the palace, the seemed to fly through an endless void, accompanied by weird green energy. Beside Endeavor, everyone's transportation failed, disintegrating right under their feet. As they headed forward, Midoriya saw what looked like a portal in front of them, and they all headed for it.

"Is this…an obstacle to anyone who tries to infiltrate the palace?" Fuegoleon asked.

"We're surrounded by strange mana." Mereoleona said.

"What the hell is wrong with this place?" Endeavor asked.

"It's the Shadow Palace" Nozel said "I hear it's the boundary between this world and the next."

"Wait, do you mean we are going to the afterlife?!" Midoriya asked.

"The afterlife!?" Asta exclaimed "Are we going to die?!".

"D-Don't be stupid, Stupidsta!" Noelle said "That's not funny!"

That's the last thing Midoriya heard before they headed into the blackness, and he could no longer feel Endeavor's grasp on his shirt.

The next thing Midoriya knew, he crashed face-first into cold hard stone.

Hearing another impact beside him, he got up, seeing that Mimosa had fallen on top of Asta.

"I'm so sorry, Asta!" Midoriya could hear Mimosa beside him "I'll heal you right away.". as he got up, he could see Mimosa healing a bleeding Asta.

"Are you ok?" Midoriya asked "where is everyone else?".

"I don't know, Deku" Mimosa said "but it seems like we are inside the Shadow Palace."

"Heck yeah! I'm fully healed again!" Asta exclaimed "Thanks, Mimosa!".

"We need a plan," Midoriya said "we have to defeat the elves and regroup with everyone else. Any ideas?".

"First, I'll use Magic Flower Guidepost to determine the layout of the palace." Mimosa said.

"You really shine in situations like this, Mimosa!" Midoriya said as Mimosa grey her holographic flower.

"Thanks, Deku." Mimosa said "Look at the layout of this place, there are several big spaces, and I feel an elf's mana in each. We're in one of the paths that connect those chambers. It appears our comrades have been scattered to other locations. They'll have to defeat the enemies waiting there before we can fall regroup."

'We have to trust our comrades can defeat the Apostles of Sephira, and regroup. I just hope the others can find their way around this place.'.

"I feel the most powerful magic in the uppermost chamber!" Mimosa explained, pointing at the white dot which was bigger than the others.

"That must be him!" Asta said.

"Who?" Midoriya asked.

"The leader of the elves." Asta answered "All right! Everyone's just gonna have to take care of the enemy waiting for them, and we'll regroup at the top, where the boss is!".

"Right!"

"The central chamber is right above us." Mimosa said, looking up "Let us proceed."

"I don't know who we're up against, but be careful" Midoriya said "These people are supposed to be the strongest of the elves!".

"Gotcha!" Asta said, jumping through the entrance to the next chamber, with Midoriya and Mimosa quickly following suit.

When they got into the chamber, Midoriya couldn't help but notice the impressive drawings who were all suspended in mid-air. 'So he's our opponent…not good. Not good at all.'.

"Welcome!" Rill said "We've met before!"

"Rill!" Asta called out to his friend.

"Jeez, I keep telling you that my name is Lira." Rill said "Well, whatever. I'm gonna have you guys practice with me until the last magic stone arrives, 'kay?"

"Just wait! I'll wake you up right now!" Asta said.

"But I'm already awake." Lira replied "Isn't picture magic fun? It took a little while to get used to, but I can draw more things than I could with my old scribble magic. We're going to draw a new world…On a pure white canvas, after we've erased all you humans!". ´What is this…I think the only limit to his magic is his imagination!'.

Midoriya activated his quirk, preparing for a tough fight. 'We have to get close to him, but he's continuously drawing new enemies for us to fight!'

And thus, the battle began. But it didn't matter. No matter how many off the monsters they cut down, more came at an unprecedented rate. "Mimosa, Asta, we need to change our strategy!" Midoriya said.

"I'm open to ideas!" Asta yelled back, fending off a monster.

"Mimosa, can you hold out on your own?" Midoriya asked.

"Yes, but not for long!" She yelled back, blasting a monster to smithereens.

"Then Asta, prepare!" Midoriya said, running towards his friend.

Once he reached Asta, he grabbed him, hauling over his shoulder.

"What are you doing, Deku?!" Asta asked as Deku started running, holding on to Asta, evading monsters that came at him.

"I'll get you closer to Rill, and then I'll distract him." Midoriya said "Once you knock him out, we can turn him back to normal!".

"Got it!" Asta said.

"Then, go!" Midoriya said, throwing Asta at one direction, while he ran over to the other direction in order to flank Rill.

"You've lost!" Midoriya said, grabbing Lira's attention as he prepared a mock punch.

"Get away from me, human!" Lira said, creating a monster to fend Midoriya off.

Midoriya whipped around, kicking the monster away, only for Lira to created another monster which smacked Midoriya away. "Die, human!" Lira said, and the monster's mouth got lit up with fire inside it's throat.

St. Louis Smash Air Force 45%! Midoriya launched a roundhouse kick, unleashing a shockwave that cleaved the upper part of the monster.

Hearing Asta scream, he saw the ash-blond boy being flung away by another monster. ´It wasn't enough…damn it!'.

"What the heck is this place!?" Midoriya heard Charmy out of nowhere. ´How did she get here?!'.

"Miz Charmy!" Asta called out to his friend "How'd you get in here?"

"I have no idea! I was just hanging on to Yuno!" Charmy said "Where are you, Yuno? What is all of this?".

"These monsters are spells that Rill drew" Midoriya said "We have to do something about him!".

Hearing this, Charmy floated up to Lira, offering the elf a bowl of food. Instead of accepting the meal, Lira smacked the bowl out of Charmy's hands, spilling it on the ground.

Cotton Creation Magic: Strike of the Sleeping Sheep!

'She's going on the offensive?!'.

Lira summoned a giant monster off his own, skewering Charmy's magic and burning it away, along with Charmy.

"Miss Charmy!" Asta called out to the girl, who fell on top of her fluffy magic.

´We can't get there…' Midoriya kicked away a monster ´…Too many monsters! What the hell is that magic?!'. A chill went down Midoriya's spine all of a sudden, and he could see Charmy started glowing, her cotton magic disintegrating around her.

"Hey…Can I come out now?" a voice bellowed. The fluffy sheep got up, and a grey wolf emerged out of it. With the wolf, Charmy got up, now being much taller, unlike her normal appearance.

"This magic…I felt it before…You were born to a human and a dwarf…" Lira said "and you have characteristics of both. You're a hybrid!".

"A hybrid…between a human and a dwarf?" Asta asked "It's like vice-captain Palladia told us!".

"D…Dwarf!?" Charmy exclaimed, and Midoriya noticed her voice changed as well "Wait! What the heck's a dwarf anyway?!".

"Well…I-I don't know too many details, since I only heard about them from folktales our elderly butler used to tell us, but…" Mimosa said "They were another race that lived long ago, separate from the elves, who also had special skills.".

"Hey, weren't you a sheep?!" Charmy asked, pointing at the wolf.

"Shut up." The wolf spoke back.

"It spoke!"

"None of that matters right now." The wolf said.

"T-True, you have a point." Charmy said, drooling from her mouth "More importantly…I'm starving."

"You may be half-dwarf, but if you're going to get in my way…" Lira said "You can disappear, too!"

"Well, I hope you make lots of those." The wolf materialized a fork and knife out of nowhere, before starting to eat the magic. "They're all my food!". Food Magic: Glutton's Banquet!

´It can eat magic!? What kind of ability is that!?'.

"My imagination won't be beaten by your appetite!" Lira declared, starting to draw faster.

"You're going to regret…" Charmy said "wasting that food earlier!". She threw a punch, destroying some monsters "This is for the protein!". Another punch "This is for the fat!". "And this one…" this punch hit Lira "is for the carbs!".

"You can't be serious!" Lira said, drawing frantically "This isn't enough to get rid of my hatred of humans!"

"La! I'm not done yet, either!" Charmy declared. "This is for the vitamins! This is for the fiber! This is for the collagen!". As she rumbled on, Midoriya couldn't help but be dumbfounded in the face of this weird situation.

"All of you! You go on ahead!" Charmy said "I'm gonna pound importance of food into his body!".

"Thank you, Charmy!" Midoriya said "Let's get out of here, fast. Which way should we go?".

"Over there, Deku" Mimosa pointed towards one of the exits.

"All right, I hope you don't get dizzy" Midoriya said.

"What do you mean?" Asta asked, and Midoriya hauled both of his friends over his shoulders before sprinting away in an incredible speed into the unknown.

"Why did you stop, Deku?" Asta asked, and Midoriya put both Mimosa and Asta back on the ground.

"Look, over there" Midoriya pointed to an unconscious man wearing a Golden Dawn uniform "Who's that?".

"David" Mimosa said "He's a senior of mine from the Golden Dawn. He was possessed by an elf…"

"I wonder if someone defeated him." Asta said "Well, this is the perfect opportunity.". Asta pulled out his sword, freeing the man from the reincarnation spell.

"Wait while I use Magic Flower Guidepost again." Mimosa said, conjuring her spell. "This is…below the strongest magic, there's a space with something that looks like a pedestal. There are three elves there! And this magic is…Yuno!".

"Let's go!" Asta said "Deku, can you take the drop?"

"I mean, I think? But it won't be smooth." Midoriya replied.

"Let's do it, then!" Asta said.

"I prefer to go down the safer way." Mimosa admitted "but I don't want to slow you down, so go on ahead.".

"Okay, Asta." Midoriya picked up his friend "Let's go!".

Midoriya jumped into the opening in the floor, and found himself in a huge drop. In order to slow his descent, he jumped from wall to wall, cratering his landing zones. "Prepare for impact!" Midoriya said as he took the last, largest drop, his legs hitting the floor at sufficiently high speeds to create a knee-deep crater in the floor.

"Yuno!" Asta cried out to his friend, getting out of Midoriya's grip and assessing the situation.

"Took you long enough." Yuno replied.

Shortly after, Mimosa lowered herself to the floor using her vines, landing carefully next to Midoriya's crater.

"What the heck is that creepy black thing?!" Asta asked "Is that someone with a "quirk" too?!"

"I…don't think so." Midoriya answered.

"I see that some uninvited guests have arrived." The strange figure said "Well, I'll leave them alone for now. More importantly…" Come Here.

As he said that, one of the elves slid on the floor towards him. "Don't toy with me!" Licht yelled Light Creation Magic: Light Whip of-.

Vanish

The whip vanished from Licht's hand, just as the creature commanded. ´Could it be…'.

Iron Spears

Spears appeared from the floor, skewering Licht throughout his body. ´He commands reality…with his words!?'.

"Asta! Midoriya! That creepy black thing is behind all of this!" Yuno said, blasting off towards the creature. And Asta followed suit, entering his black form.

Storm of Blades

True to form, a rain of blades appeared from the sky, raining down upon them all kinds of bladed weapons. ´What is that thing…I have to fight too, but what can I do!? A plan, I need a Plan!'.

Vacuum Wall

Both Yuno and Asta got smashed into the floor, the air pressure pinning them down.

Be Crushed

Again, the two were crushed under extreme forces, and all Midoriya could do was watch.

Smashed

The floor caved in under the pressure.

Broken to pieces

The walls of the space started fracturing.

Riddled with holes

The walls gave in, collapsing on Yuno and Asta. 'No time to hesitate!'. Midoriya quickly swooped in, saving the both of them in the nick of time. ´Even after watching his attacks…Nothing comes to mind. This power…is just insane.'.

"Are you okay?" Midoriya asked. No answers. 'They probably went unconscious from the previous attacks.'. Midoriya gently laid the both of them on the ground.

"A peculiar creature." The creature spoke "You don't possess magic, yet you still display those supernatural abilities. A very interesting find. I'll deal with you later." He turned to the impaled Licht "Are you awake? Thanks to you, the time that had stopped for me will finally begin moving again. I commend you, hero. Five centuries ago, they got in my way, and though I was close, my incarnation failed.".

"What…are you talking about?" Licht asked.

"You were the next one I set my sights on." The creature continued "A new sacrifice that was loved by mana, still young, and swayed oh so easily. Tragedy and a sense of mission…that was enough for you to dabble in forbidden magic, which allowed the elves' souls to be reincarnated in human bodies.".

"What are you talking about?" Licht asked "The one…The one who reincarnated us is Licht! Even if it meant dabbling in forbidden magic, he gave us our last hope!". ´Wait, isn't he Licht? What is going on here?'.

"Wrong." The creature said "Because I was the one who reincarnated you elves." The creature smiled a devilish, wicked smile. "Your leader doesn't want the humans exterminated. Restoring the elves and that revenge you longed for…All false goals. You merely walked down the path I prepared for you, neatly leading the others fools after you. You truly did a splendid job. In the end, it led you to a future that Licht didn't want, and my incarnation, which finally allowed my soul to return to my body."

´That wickedness…this…feeling of evil…this is the same feeling Shigaraki has…a true villain. Corrupt to the core.'.

"I'm…like Licht." The impaled elf said "I was chosen by the four-leaf clover…"

"Indeed. You were chosen…" the creature said, malice rolling off his tongue like a constant stream "As my brilliant, foolish pawn. Excellent work.".

The elf suddenly started crying out in agony, and Midoriya decided it's time to act. ´I can't sit here like nothing's wrong. I'll fight…even without a plan!'.

"This is too amusing." The creature smiled in glee "Elves and humans…Your dreams and ambitions make the best playthings!". His chuckling turned into laughter. Laughter at another man's suffering.

"Who do you think you are?" Midoriya asked "Don't you think you can just trample on people's lives and dreams like they're grass under your feet, you monster!". The green lightning began dancing on Midoriya's body as his quirk activated. One for All: Full Cowl 30%!

Storm of Blades!

´I saw earlier some of the blades Asta hit didn't disappear. That means this monster can manifest real objects! But that won't matter now!'. Detroit Smash! Midoriya punched upwards, blowing away the farthest blades and crushing the closer ones under the immense power from him fist. ´I can fight like this…I'll only change to 45% at the moment of impact, and increase my power, while maintaining 30% throughout my body normally. Like this…I can fight!'.

"Don't think you'll get rid of me this easily!" Midoriya said, charging the monster

Spikes of stone

Spikes emerged from the floor, threatening to skewer Midoriya and stopping him in his tracks. ´I may not get there, but…'. He broke of one of the spikes and hurled it at the creature, cutting his shoulder. ´I managed to do damage!'.

Heal

´You have to be kidding me. He's like Overhaul, he'll heal himself whenever I hurt him. That means I need to take him out with one strike!'.

"It's impressive that you managed to wound me." The monster said "You really are one peculiar creature."

"Don't you think we'll let you have all the glory, Midoriya!" Yuno said, getting up, his power surging.

"We will never leave you to fight that monster alone!" Asta said, getting up as well.

"Oh, look at you. You are quite a troublesome bunch." The monster spoke "Having the power of a spirit and being loved by mana…And the power of a meddlesome comrade who dwells within the five-leaf grimoire that I should have possessed." He turned towards the impaled elf "I don 't know where you came from, but you may have that grimoire. When the owner of a four-leaf grimoire is engulfed in deep despair, a five-leaf grimoire is born. At last, I possess both my body and my pitch-black grimoire. I can rule over the current world as a demon with my true form and power!".

'did that elf's grimoire just turn black?'

"Five hundred years ago, I succeeded, in creating a grimoire of despair, but I was met with resistance in the very end. So this time, by using forbidden reincarnation magic, I mingled wicked thoughts with their souls, making it easier to steal their egos. I wanted my stepping stones to do their job and allow themselves to be stepped on." The monster grabbed the black grimoire "Empty hearts are so simple. For the sake if this moment, I have deceived, killed, and plundered. And oh, was it delightful!".

"You're unforgivable…" Asta said "I'm not going to let you get away with that!"

"Unfortunately, I'm not the one you have to deal with." The monster said, before going over to whisper something in the impaled elf's ears. "The final state of an elf who's overflowing with malice…" the elf's skin and eyes turned black, and it broke the spears that bound it "A dark elf!"

Demon Light Magic: Light Swords of Conviction. The elves started launching black light swords at an incredible rate, but with Midoriya's speed, he evaded all of the swords with only minor injuries.

"Asta! You alive?" Yuno asked.

"Of course I am, Yuno, you jerk!" Asta asked "What the heck's going on? I don't feel any Ki from him at all!"

"This is just a heartless, burned-out shell now." The monster said "It's merely casting scorched shadows of the spells in its grimoire. At least have some fun with it." He looked up "So the exit is up above, is it?" he floated into the air, flying away "Now, if you'll excuse me…farewell!".

The elf charged Yuno and Asta, preventing them from pursuing the monster.

"Deku, go!" Asta said "Well handle this guy! So go!".

With one look at his friends, he nodded, and he started climbing the walls, jumping from side to side and creating holds with his sheer strength. ´I can't climb as fast as he flies, but I think I can catch up! I have to!'.

After climbing for what seemed like forever, Midoriya finally reached the entrance to the next chamber. He was standing behind the monster, who was busy staring at a glowing figure that stood on his way to what Midoriya guessed was the door outside of this place.

"You're not even fully awakened yet, and you already can't forgive me." The devil spoke to the glowing elf "Well, I guess I can't blame you. I couldn't take this grimoire from you, so I've taken it from someone very dear to you."

The elf readied his white sword. "I'm surprise you can manage that, after spawning that giant demon left your soul so unstable. Well done indeed. I'll kill you off properly."

"Don't forget about me." Midoriya said.

"Oh, you pursued me?" the monster asked, turning around to look at him "I'll commend you for being so persistant, but I can't let you stand in my way."

This time, this floor flooded beneath Midoriya, turning into a muddy ground, before sprouting spikes out, all the while the mud was spun with the intense wind, creating a tornado that trapped Midoriya.

´How can I get out off here?' the faint sounds of battle could be heard from outside the vortex ´He probably chose attacks like this just to deal with me.'. After thinking for a little time, Midoriya came up with an idea. ´If I can generate enough power for All Might's move…'. Nebraska Smash 45%! Midoriya threw a punch while rotating his arms, creating a small but powerful vortex that swirled in the opposite direction to the monster's attack, canceling it out.

"Oh, Kid. You're here too?" Midoriya heard the voice of captain Yami. ´When did he get here?'.

"You're showing up one after the other. It's turning into quite the party." The monster chuckled to itself.

"Human…you came this far just to get in my way?" an elf that looked like it possessed the captain of the Blue Rose knights asked.

"I've got plenty of things to ask and say to you," Yami said, freeing a bound Licht "but I'm pretty sure we have to take care of that guy first. I'm also pretty sure I've never seen a more obvious bad guy before.".

"I'm just going to let you die if you can't keep up." Charlotte said as she charged the monster.

"I guess you're just as unreasonable as the girl I know." Yami said, joining her in the assault "you just make sure that body doesn't get hurt!".

Wave of Flame

Flames were launched at the both of them, but Midoriya jumped in from the side, readying a roundhouse kick. St. Louis Smash Air Force! the shockwave blew the flames out, and gave Charlotte and Yami the opportunity to get in close.

Dark Magic: Dark Cloaked Lightless Slash! Yami launched his attack, but the devil easily dodged away.

Storm of Blades

Charlotte used her briar magic to take care of the blades.

Wither

The plants rotted away, and Yami charged the monster again Dark Cloaked Dimension Slash!

"My, what masterful teamwork." The monster spoke "I figured you were on bad terms with each other."

"Yeah, I can't explain it, either." Yami replied. ´The attack hit! But then again…he'll just heal himself right away.'.

Return

Both the severed wing and arm returned to their rightful place, repairing the monster's body. "That was a splendid cut." The monster said.

Storm of Blades

"Anything goes with you, doesn't it?!" Yami asked.

"Captain Yami, brace yourself!" Midoriya said as he kicked the air, repelling the swords away with extreme force. it wasn't enough, as more blades came, and both of them needed to dodge out of the way.

"Charlotte!" Yami called out to the elf.

"I'm Charla!" she replied, launching more vines to stop the blades.

"Shrimp, let's go!" Yami said as Charla made a path for them out of vines, and they ran on it, trying to get a better angle of attack. Dark Cloaked Lightless Slash! The monster again evaded the magic easily.

´Wait, he isn't stopping it with his magic. Does that mean dark magic is his weakness?'.

The sword elf appeared behind the monster, deflecting Yami's attack to him. "I'm amazed you can move around so much when you're basically asleep." The monster said.

Storm of Blades

"Damn it! There's no end to this!" Yami said as he and Midoriya blocked waves of blades.

"I quite enjoy your company." The monster said "You're so pleasantly annoying that I'm actually enjoying this. To think that having my own body and being able to play with magic would make my heart dance with such delight! I Thank you." He opened his grimoire "You've also helped me obtain the five-leaf grimoire. Now I shall use it. The magic of my words…"

The next thing he said was unintelligible, but it seemed to do something horrible, opening a portal to an unknown place, and out of it, crawled what looked like purple moss. Moss from hell. "I do apologize, but I'm a completely different being than the rest of you." The monster said "From a different dimension, in fact.". the most expanded at an unprecedented rate, spreading to the entire room.

´What the hell is that supposed to be?! Is that some kind of hell spawn? I'm starting to really dislike this place…'.

Yami attempted slashing the moss, but it just regenerate as if nothing happened.

The moss came for Midoriya as well, but he was successful in blowing it away with his attacks and stalling it. ´Could it be that thing eats magic?'.

"There you are, you creepy bastard!" Asta yelled, coming out of the moss, with Yuno and the dark elf in tow.

"Well, well…To think you were able to undo his dark elf form." The monster said "I have no interest in toys I'm done playing with, though.".

As if the surprises had no end, a beam of light carved its way through the moss, and two people appeared from inside it. "It's been five hundred years since we last met, devil!" a blond boy said.

"Unbelievable! To think I'd also be reuniting with you two." The devil said.

"Wait, Yuno, is that…" Asta asked.

"Yeah…" Yuno replied.

"The legendary first Wizard King?"

´The first one? How can he be alive and that young?'

"Are you the real deal?!" Asta asked, a starry-eyed look on his face "But wait, you can move?! Wait, what the heck is going on?!".

"Calm down Asta" Yuno said "Now's really not the time for that."

"Wait, I need to be clued in" Midoriya said "What is going on here exactly? People are just showing up out of nowhere.".

The blond boy and the girl accompanying him floated up to Licht, and the girl seemed like she was using here magic on him. ´This entire situation is just weird. What is going on?!'. Both the elf and the blond boy started glowing, and Midoriya had too many questions.

"Well, it's a good thing you made it in time in this era." The devil said "You had a rather unfortunate farewell five hundred years ago. This time, I'll get rid of both of you at once.". ´Five hundred years ago?! How can he still live? I know of people with longevity quirks back home, but five hundred years is just insane.'.

The blond boy, elf and girl suddenly appeared next to the on the small platform on a stone that was untouched by the moss. "Patry, I saw everything from within my soul's deep slumber." The sword elf said.

"Licht, I…"

´Ok, so sword elf is Licht, and Licht is Patry? Why would he take the other elf's name?'.

"Five hundred years ago, we lost to this devil's scheme." Licht said "While I was drowning in despair, the one who kept me from hurting even more innocent people and causing even more despair was Lumiere. Regardless of how it was done, it appears that someone came to stop you, too. Patry, even though you belied the blade you wielded was for justice, for those who were struck by your blade, it was an unforgivable crime.". ´Who thought the leader of the elves would be such a reasonable person?'.

"Still even if you cannot be forgiven, let me just say this…" Licht hugged Patry "I know you did your best. What we can do right now is fight against the next tragedy that's about to occur without letting our mistakes break our spirits. Let us finally put an end to our five hundred years."

´Well, questions can be asked after we finish this fight. For now, I'll focus on defeating that demon!'.

"Yes, indeed." The devil spoke "I'll swallow up your trivial little feelings, and that'll be the end of it.". the devil commanded, and the purple moss converged on them, threatening to swallow them alive.

Just as Midoriya was about to spring into action, both Lumiere and Licht acted.

Their destructive attacks dispersed the moss effectively, clearing the immediate area around them. ´Even though the moss eats magic…such powerful attacks!'. Licht and Lumiere both charged the devil, managing to strike him several times and sending him flying into the moss.

"H-Holy crap…" Asta said as Lumiere manage to pierce the devil's abdomen with his magic "They did it!".

Douve Nuutra Edde!

A trident appeared in the devil's hand, and he used it to not only disintegrate Lumiere's magic, but sever his left arm. "I commend you for being able to attack me this much." The devil said "But no matter how powerful you may be, you will not be able to kill me now that I have my body and grimoire!".

"Yuno! Send me flying!" Midoriya said, and Yuno nodded.

Mana Enhance: One for All – Full Cowl 30%!

'I can't keep this up for long, because my concentration and body won't hold up.' Yuno picked Midoriya up with air currents ´But for a small duration, it will amplify my abilities beyond what I can accomplish alone!'. Yuno launched Midoriya, and he was in front of the devil a split-second later.

"As if…" kicked the devil away from the blond boy "…We'll let you win!". Midoriya cocked his fist, preparing to hit the devil.

Midoriya was sent flying back towards the moss.

Storm of Blades

Midoriya unleashed his punch while rotating his arm, creating a small twister to get rid of the swords. Nebraska Smash 45%!

Before hitting the moss, he was caught by Yuno's gusts of wind. "Thanks, Yuno!".

"That power" Lumiere said as the girl seemed to reattach his arm, using her magic to connect it with her power "How can it be possible without even a grimoire.".

"That's so freakin' cool!" Asta exclaimed with a starry-eyed look "As I'd expect from a friend of the first Wizard King! But, uh… Somehow, I don't feel like this is the first time we're meeting. Like, your Ki, your atmosphere, and your eyes really remind me of someone I know…".

The girl pinched Asta cheek, but Midoriya was too concentrated on his own body. ´My bones feel like resonating glass that is about to shatter any moment…But I must keep it up!'.

"You really are peculiar" The devil spoke "At the start, I was under the impression you were like that magicless boy, but it doesn't seem to be the case. I wonder where you unnatural strength comes from. Well, it doesn't matter now, because even if you blow away this magic, it will always keep on flowing until you defeat me, and since the exit is on this floor, you comrades on the lower floors won't fare as well, and will get swallowed alive.".

"You bastard!" Asta yelled.

"But of course." Licht said "We will rid this place of this accursed magic with a mighty blow made with the help of our friends.". he raised his sword, and it started glowing with an intense light, as several light beams seemed to converge on it. "And now, you will face the true wrath of the elves."

Ultimate Sword Magic: Demon-Dweller Sword-Conquering Eon!

The attack unleashed a light that lit up the entire room, and through the intense light, Midoriya thought he could see the dark form of the devil disappear. The attack was so powerful, it carved at the purple moss and the walls of the space, exposing them to the black void outside.

"Wait..That's…the devil's heart?" Patry asked.

Looking around, Midoriya could see a dark-purple heart, which to Midoriya's surprise, grew a mouth.

Heal

Defying all logic, that single word reformed the devil's body completely, as if nothing had happened. "I told you! You cannot kill me." The devil chuckled. ´No way…he can survive that attack and still heal?! That means there is only one way to kill him. Destroy him completely.'.

´I'll need a lot of power for something that can deal enough damage…100%' Midoriya looked at his hand ´But if I fail, I'll just become a liability. But then again…a point-blank attack…that might work.'

Beside him, Asta's sword started emitting a more powerful aura, black wisps rising from it, and soon enough, it pulled him towards the devil, charging with full strength.

"You clearly don't have control." The devil said, attempting to stab Asta with his trident, only to have it broken by Asta's anti-magic sword.

Asta turned around, being dragged along by his sword.

More portals opened, spilling more purple moss into the room, and out of the moss, appeared purple serpent-looking monsters.

The monsters attacked Asta, and the blond boy swooped in to save him from being eaten, only to get hit by Asta's sword. 'They can't get close because the sword get's attracted to great magical powers!'.

The others tried attacking the moss, only to have their attacks absorbed harmlessly by the moss.

´Their attacks have no effect…I wonder what are the properties of the moss, does it absorb magic, or just regenerates fast?'.

Patry changed his strategy, black particles gathering around him. Demon Light Magic: Light Swords of Conviction! This time, his magic had an effect, blowing holes in the moss and monsters. ´Maybe the magic attribute matters when attacking those things… but it does seem my attacks still work, since they are purely physical.'.

"You may be rotten now, but you're still an elf chosen by the four-leaf." The devil said "Not bad at all, though it's all for naught, of course.".

Asta managed to stop flying around, but Midoriya could see his sword was still releasing its power in the form of big, black wisps that emerged from the jet-black blade.

"Why are you taking forever over there, Asta?" Yuno asked, his power swelling as well "If you can't even use your power to its full extent, then you've still got a long way to go…" he formed a glowing green sword in his hands "…before you can become the Wizard King!". Wind Spirit Creation Magic: Spirit of Zephyr.

"Hey, I was just about to get it, okay?!" Asta replied, the anti-magic spreading more on his body, and his blade started growing.

"See? You can do it if you try." Yuno said.

"Yeah, because…" Asta replied "I'm gonna be the Wizard King!". Black Divider!

Suddenly, a horrible stench hit everyone's noses, and a blackened patch appeared in the midst of the purple moss. "Oh?" the devil looked on as flames started appearing from below the surface, and soon later, Endeavor floated up from the moss, surrounded by intense flames.

"It's the flame guy!" Asta exclaimed.

"this place is giving me a headache." Endeavor said, setting his eyes on the devil "Who the hell is this? This place gets weirder the more I stay here.".

"Endeavor!" Midoriya called out to the man "This is the person behind all of this, we beat him, we win!".

"This party is getting more interesting every second!" the devil said "but as I said, it doesn't matter who comes to your help, it's all for naught against my Word Soul Magic."

"Oh?" Endeavor said, his fists burning with intense flames, casting warm light on the room's walls "I don't know who you are, villain." His flames swelled even farther "burn, and be quelled…in the fires of hell!". Flashfire Fist: Hell's Curtain! Endeavor blasted the condensed flames from his hands, blanketing half of the room with his fire, encasing the devil in a blanket of destruction.

As the stream of fire dispersed, the devil could still be seen, his body severely damaged by the fire, but not enough to destroy him.

Heal

Endeavor's eyes widened in surprise as the devil began to heal from his mortal injuries.

"Now I understand" the devil said "I didn't know how you managed to burn through my magic, but now I understand. You somehow use true fire, with no magic. Truly intriguing, but futile nonetheless.".

"Asta, it's our time, let's go!" Yuno said, and both of them charged at the healing devil, slashing monsters in their way.

´I have to master that strength, the ability to move through the air…'.

"I'll admit, you're rather lively." The devil said "But do you think you'll be able to reach me at that speed?".

Yuno encased Asta in a tornado, sending him towards the devil quickly.

´He did it.'.

Asta managed to stab the devil through the chest with his Anti-magic sword.

The devil dropped his trident as he started to make weird noises that just creeped Midoriya out.

"you trash…"

"How dare you?"

"Really, how dare you?"

Several mouths started appearing on the devil's body, each one talking independently.

"You filthy maggot with no magic…"

"I'm done with this."

"Despair and resistance are merely my playthings."

More monsters appeared, pushing Asta away from the devil.

´Now he can cast countless spells at once…this devil is insanely powerful!'.

"I'll make sure to exterminate every single last one of you." The devil spoke as more moss and monsters appeared.

"If he's only now getting serious…" Endeavor said "Then we'll have to greet him with our own strength.". a fiery aura appeared all around Endeavor, consuming every part of the moss that got too close. Prominence… The fire condensed in front of him Burn!

The attack burnt right through the monsters and moss, eradicating them, but missing the devil.

"Did you really think I'd get hit but such an attack?" the devil asked.

´Of course not, he's making a safe passage!'.

Asta and Yuno saw the opportunity and charged the devil once again.

´I have to join the battle…that last charge almost got him, and that's why he's so furious! That must be it!' Midoriya made his aura swell with power, thick lightning bolts dancing across his body ´That's why…I'll fight!'. Midoriya felt his body move, and the sensation he felt in his battle against the elves ´This is it!'. Midoriya rocketed through space, his body reacting strangely to the new power. Mana Enhance – Float!

It wasn't pretty, but it got the job done, as Midoriya needed to smash right through the monsters instead of avoiding them. ´It's pretty crude…but I'm flying! Just hold this power active for a little longer!'.

´Keeping this up is so hard, I can barely react to my surrounding!' Midoriya smashed through a serpent ´But I must endure it, and land a decisive blow…that will be the only way to win!'.

They all tore through waves of monsters, trying to get to the devil, but the task was beginning to take its toll on both Midoriya and Asta. ´I can't keep it up for long, and I'm sure Asta is almost at his limit, too. If we won't do it soon, we'll lose.'.

"Deku!" Asta called out to him "Use your power to throw me!".

"Huh?"

"Just do it!".

As soon as Asta passed next to Midoriya, he caught him. "I hope you ready!" Midoriya said, flying forward with Asta in tow "Go!". He threw him through a serpent and above the devil, the shadows hiding him among them.

´Almost there!'

Yuno and Asta charged the devil, both pulling each other towards one point. The devil himself.

Soon after, they both sunk their blades into him.

Midoriya saw Asta's black form dissipate, and the devil pushed the both of them away.

Suddenly, out of nowhere, the devil was split apart by a familiar magic. ´Yami! He still fights, even though he's not here!'.

Asta pulled his new sword out of his grimoire and threw his big, hefty sword at the devil.

"Really?" the devil dodged the sword by moving his head "Are you that desperate?".

"I wasn't aiming for you, bastard!" Asta yelled back.

Midoriya tightened his grip on the heavy sword, swinging it around.

Yuno blasted the devil with a tornado from his sword, stunning him for a split-second.

Power surged through Midoriya's veins even as all mana disappeared from his body.

Combo attack: Black Thunder 50%!

Midoriya swung the sword with the might of One for All, slashing the devil apart through his heart.

"Impossible…" the devil uttered "Impossible…Impossible…This can't be…Impossible…Inconceivable…I…".

A falling Midoriya was caught by Yuno as the devil disappeared before his eyes, disintegrating into nothingness.

"Thanks, Yuno." Midoriya said weakly. ´I went over my limit…my arms feel like they're on fire!'.

"We…won…"

"This is…The devil's magic hasn't completely disappeared, and continues to devour this area." Patry said "The Shadow Palace is starting it crumble?".

"Not good…My body's about to reach its limit." The blond boy said.

"the light…" Midoriya uttered.

"Guys!" Asta yelled.

Suddenly, a portal opened above them, and out of it, came all of their friends. ´Thank goodness! Our luck is way too good!'.

"Both I and the one I believed in were nothing but pitiful sinners." A voice said "I'm going to atone for my sins."

"You guys!" Asta said, and Midoriya turned around to see Valtos and Rades emerged from another portal.

"Don't get the wrong idea." Rades said "I've never been wrong.".

"And you haven't done anything here, either!" Asta replied.

"Shut the hell up! I do what I want!" Rades yelled back.

Next, out of the moss, appeared Yami and Charla, carrying the former captain of the Purple Orcas and another person Midoriya didn't recognize.

"Captain Yami! And the Captain of the Blue Rose Knights!" Asta exclaimed "And…the former Captain of the Purple Orcas!? And you're…that bastard that stole Yuno's grimoire, like, who knows when!?".

"The name's Revchi!"

"What the heck are you two doing here?!" Asta asked.

"What are you doing here when you have no magic?!"

"Anyway, let's get out of here." Endeavor said "This place is giving me a weird feeling."

As they floated through the void, heading outside, Endeavor got close to Midoriya. "You didn't fall back out of the battle like I instructed." Endeavor said "I'm proud of you, Kid. I'll be waiting for your return to my agency, hero."

"Yes, sir." Midoriya said.

"It's a bit early for idle chatter." Nozel said "It's not like everything is over. We have to stop all the elves destroying the kingdom.". as they came out of the dark void, Midoriya could see smoke and fire down in the city, which was still under attack.

"How in the world are we going to deal with that many of them?" Noelle asked.

"Let's just knock them all out." Mereoleona said.

"With Licht here, there's a way." Patry said "With the world tree magic that belongs to William, who's currently asleep inside of me, we can gather the magic and life force from people all over the kingdom. But for that, we'll need his grimoire.".

"Take this." Valtos said, appearing out of a portal.

"That's Willaim's…Thank you, Valtos."

"It doesn't matter who you are." Valtos said "You're still the one who saved me that day.".

"Wait, are you saying…"

"Yes. Asta, use your Demon-Destroyer Sword to undo my reincarnation."

"You sure about this?" Asta asked.

"This has always been my second life." Patry said "I may have some regrets, but no fear. If I'm just going to disappear after this, I almost think that's not enough for atonement. I'm gonna head out first. I'm sorry, Licht. You'll have to take care of the rest."

"I will."

Asta undid the reincarnation spell, and Patry's appearance changed, turning into a different man.

"Captain Vangeance…"

William opened his grimoire, and a single seed appeared in his hand, expanding its roots.

Licht went over to William, raising his shining sword, which sent light beams all throughout the city.

Combo Spell: Demon-Dweller Sword Spirit Light Tree.

"Anti-magic boy, use the Demon-Destroyer Sword on this tree." Licht said.

Asta stabbed his sword into the light tree, and it soon turned completely black. ´He's undoing the spell on a massive scale!'.

"Figured as much" Raia said "Looks like the three of us won't be able to go with you. Our souls are bound to these bodies after our second reincarnation, so our souls don't belong to our original bodies anymore."

"I see. That makes things a little lonely." Licht said "I wanted to talk to you about this long journey filled with pain and hatred. But there might be a good reason for this. Please continue to live in this world for our sakes, too."

"Licht…"

"See you later."

"Guess we're passing each other by again." Raia said "Like I have a choice if this is your request, Licht. It'll be a pain, but I'll just have to live this life to the fullest, I guess."

"Thank you. Mages of the present Clover Kingdom." Licht said as he left his body.

Wraith Magic: Soul Abductor.

Licht's body glowed, and it suddenly moved again.

"Is this…Reincarnation?" Patry asked "No…Reanimation?"

"That body was a copy of yours that Sally made, anyway." Rades said "I'm sure you'll feel right at home in it.".

"Hey, what the heck are you doing?!" Asta asked.

"Shut up, shut up! I…I…" Rades said "I don't really get it either, damn it! Anyway, Licht…No, Patry, was it? I'm not gonna let you just disappear and live happily ever after! I'm never gonna forgive you! You get to keep thinking about all those humans you trampled…including me!".

"Uh…I'm pretty sure that's gonna come back to bite you in the butt." Asta said.

"Shut up!"

"Rades…should I thank you?" Patry asked "You've given me the opportunity to atone."

"Shut up! I'm gonna come for your head!" Rades said "I won't let you die easily. Go on and spend your life trembling in fear! Let's go, Valtos!". And with that, they both disappeared into a portal.'

"For crying out loud…" Raia said "So in the end, you didn't even get to go back with Licht. You're such a pain in the ass. Talk about just deserts.".

"Raia…" Patry walked forward, stumbling.

"To think the day would come where I could actually touch you." William said, catching Patry "My closest friend, who shares my sin. There was so much that I wanted to tell you, and yet…More importantly, there's someone I need to apologize to right now, even though he may not forgive me. I know that this is a selfish request. I'm sorry, Yami. Please take me to Master Julius.".

"Right…" Yami said.

Yami's P.O.V

"Heya. I somehow survived." Said a blond kid wearing the Wizard King's clothes.

"Wait, wait, wait. Yeah, no. You definitely died." Yami said "That was definitely leading up to you dying. That was, like, your end." Yami picked up the kid by the collar "Weren't you leaving everything to me or something? Could you give me back my determination?".

"Yami, you're being a bit scary." The kid said "Sorry I was so useless when the kingdom was in such danger. I thought my magic would kick in sooner, but…".

"Magic?"

"It's probably about thirteen years' worth…" the kid said "I'd stored time into a certain magic item. I had to take a bet on whether it'd actually activate or not.". Yami let go of the kid, and took in a large breath.

"Damn it…" Yami said "You're such a crazy old man. But I got to see your face when I thought I never would again. I guess that's not so bad."

"There you are," Yami heard a voice "I was told you were coming here.".

"Hey, Shiny, how are you?" Yami asked.

"Don't call me that." Palladia said "but I'm fine, I only have a headache."

"Palladia…I…" William uttered in a quiet voice.

"Don't." Palladia said, keeping her blank face "I don't think I want to have you explain this to me now. But I do want to know who is that boy"

"That's Julius." Yami said, exhaling some smoke.

"Huh? How?"

"I have no idea" Yami answered.

"Master Julius…I…I…." William mumbled, but couldn't form a coherent sentence.

"William Vangeance. No matter what the reason may have been, betraying the Kingdom is a grave crime." Julius spoke, the serious tone not matching his appearance. "Many were hurt, and it will take time for everyone to recover. I'm not going to let you sit idle during that time.".

"Wait, aren't you going kinda easy on him?" Yami asked "After everything he did, you're not gonna punish him at all?".

"Well, I'm the one who invited William into the Magic Knights and appointed him as captain" Julius said "I'm responsible for what happened, too…and for losing against the other soul that was in him, the leader of the Eye of the Midnight Sun. William, I'm sure there will be those who resent you for being part of all of this. But I know how much you suffered, too. Do you have the resolve to withstand that hatred and proceed?".

´For crying out loud, this guy…he may have shrunk, but he hasn't changed one bit.'.

"I will say this, William." Julius spoke "I can't let you keep your position, and I am officially demoting you until you atone for your crimes. For the time being…" he turned to the vice-captain "Will you take the roll in his stead?".

"It will be my honor, Wizard King" Palladia said, saluting.

Midoriya's P.O.V

Midoriya asked for permission for one last goodbye, while the other heroes waited on the same field just outside Hage Village.

"Magna, I can't believe you're leaving us!" Asta said "I'll really miss all of you, even Katsuki!".

"Just don't get in too much trouble back home, Midoriya" Yuno said "Just so you know, by the next time we meet, I'll be much stronger than you.".

"I'll be waiting for this, Yuno.". Midoriya replied.

"Deku," Mimosa said "Will we ever see you again?".

"I…can't tall for sure." Midoriya said "But I'll try to get back, and who knows, maybe one time I'll give you a tour of my home."

Mimosa embraced Midoriya for a quick second, before pulling away "In case we never see each other again. I'll miss you, Deku."

"What are you talking about?" Asta said "Everything is possible! So we must meet again!".

"Kid," Yami put his hand on Midoriya's shoulder "Never forget to surpass your limits."

"Plus ultra" Midoriya said, getting weird looks "It's a saying from my home.".

"I see." Yami said "Surpass your limits, plus ultra? I kinda like it."

"Midoriya" Gran Torino called out to him "It's time."

"Bye, everyone!" Midoriya waved to his fellow Magic Knights as he joined the pro heroes who carried the unconscious Bakugo "Until next time!".

Blue mist appeared from the air, and the grass below his feet, slowly increase in density, swirling around them in a vortex "See ya!" Midoriya and his friends waved as the mist covered them, and everything went black.

Midoriya woke up in a room with transparent windows, seeing scientists in lab coats pop celebrating outside.

"Good to see you're back." Midoriya heard a voice behind him, and saw the same villain who transported him all these months ago "How was your trip?".
