Chapter 14: Heart Kingdom

Midoriya's P.O.V

"Welcome to Marevilla" Marx greeted Midoriya and his friends next to the town's port.

"How are you, Marx?" Midoriya asked.

"I'm doing fine, Izuku." Marx said "This will serve as your vessel." He gestured towards a nice boat behind him "Please, have a safe trip, and don't break the boat."

"How are we supposed to know where to sail too?" Iida asked.

"The boat will guide itself magically, and take you to the Heart Kingdom." Marx replied, turning to leave "Please take care.".

"Thank you very much, Marx." Midoriya said, boarding the boat "Come on guys."

After all of them boarded the boat, it started sailing away on its own, just like Marx said.

"Midoriya, it seems like now we'll have some free time." Iida said, taking off his helmet "So I would like to hear that story about a war.".

Midoriya spent much of the remaining day telling Iida and Tokoyami off his adventures and all the stuff he saw during them, his arrival at the strange new world, the dungeon, the spirits he met, the undead invasion, the underwater temple, the star festival, the Yultim volcano, the Royal Knights exam, and finally, the battle against the elves. He explained about Mana and Magic, and about the different usages he encountered. He even took the time to try and explain Mana enhancement to Iida and Tokoyami.

"To think you went through all those adventures and saw all those incredible things." Iida said "It was probably more of a shock to come back to our normal world.".

"Not really." Midoriya replied, gazing at the stars that blanketed the sky "I missed home, but having friends here really helped, not to mention I wasn't the only one here.".

"We might as well make the most out of our time here." Tokoyami said "I would like to see some incredible things here too, since this world has magic, there are probably all kinds of things that are possible here.".

"I guess so." Midoriya said "I wonder what kinds of things the heart Kingdom holds."

"We can think about that tomorrow" Iida replied "I think we should get some sleep. It's been a really long day.".

"You're probably right." Midoriya said, lying down on the wooden floor of the boat. ´I guess this isn't so bad. At least I'll have this amazing view above me.'. Midoriya looked at the amazing view of the night sky they had from the sea ´I guess that's something you don't see too often, too.'. soon after, he was fast asleep

Several hours later

Midoriya woke up to the early dawn sun. ´I wonder if we are there already.'. Midoriya sat up, scanning his surroundings, and there, in the distance, he could see land that seemed to host lush vegetation.

"Morning, Midoriya" Tokoyami said from atop the boat's cabin.

"Good morning, Tokoyami." Midoriya replied.

"it seems like we're nearly there. I'll wager an hour or so." Tokoyami said.

After some time sailing, and by the time Iida woke up, Midoriya could see they were heading towards an opening in the land in which a river was flowing into the country.

"It seems like we'll be in our destination soon" Iida said, holding his helmet under his arm.

As they entered the river, Midoriya noticed something strange. ´It's gotten foggy all of a sudden?' Midoriya focused, tapping into "the flow" and confirming his suspicion.

"This fog…" Tokoyami said.

"Magic." Midoriya replied.

"Why would someone make fog appear with magic here?" Iida asked.

"I guess we can ask once we are inside." Midoriya answered. ´That is unless the fog is used as some kind of barrier? Trap? I've seen a lot of usages for all kinds of magic.'.

After a couple of minutes, the passed through the fog barrier, and the Heart Kingdom lied before them.

"Now that's something you don't get to see every day." Tokoyami said.

"This place really is incredible…it's like paradise." Iida said "It's like the buildings are combined with the nature surrounding them.".

A weird sensation suddenly shot up Midoriya's spine, a feeling he didn't feel since leaving this place. Ki. "Something is coming, and fast!" Midoriya warned his friends. Soon after, a single man landed on their boat.

The man is tall and muscular. He has spiky, black hair has a white patch above his forehead. He has a large scar running from his left cheek down his neck. He wears a sleeveless, light-colored robe with a deep v-cut neck and a dark-colored center section on the front. The robe has slits for both legs. His wide belt has a series of medallions along it, and he carries his grimoire by sliding it under the belt. Under this, he wears a pair of light-colored pants that are cropped at mid-calf. His dark-colored, knee-high boots leave the tops of his toes uncovered. He also wears several pieces of jewelry: a pair of teardrop-shaped earrings that each have three pieces dangling from the bottoms, a pair of large anklets over his boots, a pair of bracelets over a dark-colored arm bands that cover most of his forearms, and a wide necklace that extends up under his chin and down over some of his chest.

'An enemy? I hope not.'.

"Please continue sailing forward." The man said "Welcome to the Heart Kingdom. I am the Spirit Guardian Gadjah, and I will act as your guide."

"You never mentioned anything about Spirit Guardians" Iida told Midoriya.

"I don't know what a Spirit Guardian is." Midoriya replied.

"Here is some crimson orange juice that tastes even sweeter when you run magic through it." Gadjah materialized a fruit with a straw in it in his hand, and proceeded to give each one of them a fruit.

"Thank you very much." Iida said, accepting the unknown fruit.

'Run some magic through it? I never actually tried using mana on anything else but myself…'. Midoriya held the fruit firmly in his hand, and concentrated to try and pour some magic into it. ´I hardly managed anything, but I guess that'll have to do.'. Midoriya took a sip from the juice. ´Yep, good enough.'.

"I can do it for you." Midoriya told his friends, before running some little magic through their drinks. ´This is much harder than using Mana Enhance…'.

"It's actually kind of delicious." Tokoyami said "I never tasted something like this.

"Excuse me," Iida said "Aren't we heading straight into this waterfall?".

"Fear not." Gadjah said, and the water reformed into something resembling stairs. "The queen will transport us." The boat started sailing on the ramp, carried by water currents.

"The queen?" Midoriya asked "is that her magic?".

"Both the mist barrier and the water stairs are a product of the queen's Mana Zone, which covers the whole Kingdom." Gadjah said.

´That's crazy…Mereoleona's Mana Zone doesn't hold a candle to such a large scale spell.'.

"Mana Zone?" Iida asked.

"It's a technique mages use to control mana in an area around them, increasing their mana stores, spell potency and range." Midoriya explained simply.

"By any means, this seems incredible." Iida said.

Looking down at the land beneath them, he could see people walking around, some of them looking up at the new visitors, waving at them.

"It's been 1200 years since our kingdom was founded." Gadjah said, and Midoriya could see some wildlife in the foliage around them "In every generation, the queen has made a pact with the Water Spirit as a priestess, and has used its magic to protect the kingdom. Using the power of the water and the trees, this has encouraged the development of a magic civilization with deep mana that does not allow unwanted guests to enter."

´I don't like the sound of unwanted guests. This guy does look a bit sketchy'.

"Peace and quiet has been the status quo in our kingdom up until now." Gadjah said "Though we do not know what the future holds.".

´This Ki…he's coming!'.

Midoriya quickly activated his quirk, dodging a lightning bolt that obliterated the boat's cabin behind him.

"Midoriya! What is the meaning of this?!" Iida asked.

"An enemy." Midoriya answered "We'll take him out and continue on our way!".

"Yeah!" Dark Shadow said, appearing under Tokoyami's robe and wrapping around him.

"I'm sorry" Gadjah said, standing on the far end of their boat "But that'll be as far as you go.".

"Wanna bet?" Midoriya replied "Guys, prepare to go!". Midoriya swung his leg around, kicking and producing a destructive wave of air pressure that demolished the end of the boat Gadjah was standing on, and the water beneath it.

´He's…he's levitating! And without using magic, too!'.

"Interesting, but not enough." Gadjah said, bringing another lighting bolt down on their boat, and destroying whatever was left of it. Tokoyami took off into the air and Iida ran along the water, while Midoriya jumped up at their attacker.

"Your powers are rather interesting, although I can't feel magic from you." Gadjah said, dodging in mid-air another one of Midoriya's attacks. ´Damn it! He's got the advantage in the air.'. Midoriya braced for impact as Gadjah prepared another lightning bolt.

But to Midoriya's surprise, one of Dark Shadow's enlarged arms took the blow.

"Midoriya!" a flying Tokoyami "He's got the advantage here! We should relocate!". ´That's true. In such an environment we'll have a hard time utilizing our quirks to the maximum.' Midoriya's eyes scanned the ground all around him ´There are too many people around, I should find a vacant, darker place, so Tokoyami could have the advantage!'.

Midoriya landed on the solid water, starting to run along them behind Iida.

"Iida!" Midoriya called out to his friend, who put on his helmet by now "See anything helpful?"

"If you're going to run away" Gadjah said "I'll just have to stop you here.". weird runes started swirling around Gadjah, forming a yellow double helix around him. Lightning Magic: Tenjiolia. A beam of concentrated lightning head at Midoriya's and Iida's direction. ´I have no way to block that here!'.

Dark Shadow again came to the rescue, absorbing the lightning magic, but Midoriya saw him getting smaller. ´It's not good. If this keeps up, he won't be able to keep protecting us!'.

"It seems to me like you're completely outclassed." Gadjah said "Let me crush your spirits by showing you just how big is the difference between our levels.". Runes again swirled around Gadjah, but this time, they went into the sky, forming a large magic circle. Around the circle, dark clouds started to form, and electricity buzzed around them.

´What kind of attack is that?! I never felt anything like that…it feels as if the flow of natural mana itself is about to attack me!'.

"Humans are no match for the vast mana of nature!" Gadjah said. The clouds spread out more now, covering a lot of ground. Thunder boomed, and the shadow of the dark clouds gave Tokoyami some time to recharge Dark Shadow's power. ´If he'll need to stop something that big, I don't know if Dark Shadow's energy will last!'.

True Lightning Magic: Irial Astrauza!

"Dark Shadow, guard!" Tokoyami sent Dark Shadow to meet the huge lightning bolt that headed their way. Good news, he was able to absorb the attack. Bad news, as soon as he got hit, he also slinked back into Tokoyami, his energy exhausted. ´We have to move! He can't protect us anymore.'. Midoriya quickly grabbed Tokoyami, before making the power coursing through his body to surge, increasing his speed.

"Midoriya! Over there!" Iida called out to Midoirya, who caught up to him "look over there!".

Looking over to the side, he saw a huge hole in the ground, one which probably led to a big cavern. ´Bingo!'.

"Let's go, Iida!" Midoriya grabbed the armor-clad hero before taking a huge leap, jumping over trees and over people who looked on in awe at the ensuing battle, and straight into the hole.

"How did you plan to land?!" Tokoyami asked as they plummeted into the hole. 'That power I can only tap into with mana enhance for now…' Midoriya concentrated ´Nana Shimura's quirk!'. Mana Enhance – Float!

When they were just short of hitting the floor, Midoriya suddenly stopped them in mid-air, before letting go of his concentration and landing safely on the ground.

"You almost gave me a heart attack!" Iida said "don't go around pulling stunts like that!".

"Tokoyami, will that place do?" Midoriya asked.

"Yeah" Tokoyami said, wrapping his cloak around himself and taking off his hood "In times like this I wish we had Kaminari around. Hell, I'll take Bakugo."

"You couldn't have chosen a worst place to seek refuge in." Gadjah said, quickly catching up to them. ´What is up with that guy?'.

"I would beg to differ." Midoriya said, smiling "In fact, you're the one who picked the worst place to battle us."

"Really?" Gadjah asked "How come?"

All around the young heroes, forms took shape out of water that appeared out of nowhere, and soon, they were surrounded by a bunch of what looked like medieval knights made out of water. ´Another enemy mage?' Midoriya concentrated, trying to sense the new opponent. 'I can only vaguely sense a person, but…that huge magic amount…what are we going to fight?!'.

"Midoriya, I'll take care of these things. You and Tokoyami can focus on Gadjah!" Iida said, blue flames igniting from the exhaust pipes on his legs. Recipro Turbo! Iida took off at a breakneck pace, kicking apart the water knights. ´What's with this vast magic?! Iida can keep it up for ten minutes, but will that be enough?'.

´No time to think about it now. I have to focus on Gadjah.'.

"Tokoyami, I'll wait for when you're ready, so for now, I'll fight him alone" Midoriya said before proceeding to jump on a wall, and then at Gadjah. ´He packs a punch, and he's fast. But that probably means his defense is not as good, as he avoids taking us straight on.'. Midoriya missed Gadjah, but tried again anyways ´One punch, that is all I'll need! Or at least I hope'.

"You're persistent, but you can't win this fight." Gadjah said, launching another lightning bolt at Midoriya. ´Maybe if I…'. Mana Enhance – Blackwhip! Midoriya concentrated the empowered quirk in front of him to block the attack. ´I can only use it for a second…but for such linear attacks, that'll have to do.'.

Midoriya kept coming at Gadjah, but now, it was mostly a battle of attrition. Gadjah couldn't hit Midoriya, and vice versa. ´Now it's whether he can hit me, or he'll run out of magic. Whichever comes first.'. even though it was hopeful thinking, knowing the vast amount of mana Gadjah had, Midoriya couldn't hope for much.

"Midoriya! Move!" Tokoyami yelled from behind him, prompting Midoriya to look back, seeing a large Dark Shadow head his way. Midoriya pulled himself away with Blackwhip, and Gadjah stood his ground, trying to blast Dark Shadow away again with lightning.

´Even though it's his weakness…' Dark Shadow crashed through Gadjah's attack, surprising the man ´The darkness is Dark Shadow's domain!'. Dark Shadow – Ragnarök! The empowered Dark Shadow crashed into Gadjah, and into the wall behind him, leaving Gadjah embedded in a huge crater in the wall.

"Yeah! Take that!" Dark Shadow said, and Tokoyami retracted him back into him.

"So, you managed to actually defeat Gadjah" a voice said, and behind him, Midoriya saw a water puddle rise and take shape. ´What the…'.

"The water started expanding, soon covering the entire floor, forcing Iida to run on water, unable to stop, while Tokoyami took off into the air.

Midoriya however, got stuck in the water, unable to escape. ´This power…it has to be magic, a strong one at that!'. In front of Midoriya, a woman took shape from the water. She had pale skin, blue eyes, fins instead of ears and her hair and dress seemed to be made of water. "It's quite impressive, but it doesn't seem like you'll do very well against my magic." The woman spoke "It's a pleasure to meet you, newcomers. I'm Undine. I'm one of the Four Great Spirits, and I'm contracted to the Queen of the Heart Kingdom. You all have interesting abilities unlike I've ever seen, but you're no match for me.".

Midoriya started getting pulled down towards the bottom by a whirlpool.

"Not to mention, none of you have a shred of magic." Undine said "Without any magic, you're less than ninth stage, even though you seem to have quite powerful abilities."

'Ninth stage? What is she talking about?'.

She pointed down, and Midoriya plummeted into the water, his entire body getting bound up in chains. ´I can't breathe! I need to act fast!'. One for All: Full Cowl 35%! Midoriya shined with power, lighting the water up. Oklahoma… Midoriya moved his body as much as he could in preparation for his escape attempt Smash! Midoriya violently spun his body, breaking the chains around him, and creating an underwater vortex that pulled in the water around him, creating bubbles and obscuring Undine's vision of him.

It wasn't enough. As Midoriya looked around, he could see the water level kept rising significantly, and he could faintly see his friends battling above the surface. ´I won't make it in time up to the surface…' Midoriya prepared to launch another attack ´But there's no way I'm losing here!'. Using the momentum the vortex gave him, Midoriya performed a powerful, 360 degrees whirl kick. St. Louis Smash Air Force: Full Coverage!

The resulting kick cleared away all the water from around Midoriya, giving him room to breathe. ´I can't keep it up…' Midoriya took in deep breaths ´She's a spirit with vast amounts of magic power- wait. If she's a spirit, her user must be somewhere here, Like Yuno and Captain Fuegoleon!' Midoriya cleared his mind, knowing that the returning water will crush him if he doesn't move. ´I can't feel anything. Not even Gadjah's Ki anymore!'.

Midoriya took off like a bullet, crushing through the incoming waves and cracking the ground beneath his feet, jumping above the water's surface.

Soon after, he felt the Dark Shadow's arm wrap around him, catching him.

"Tokoyami, get me close to her!" Midoriya told his friend, who was busy avoiding a serpent made out of water.

"Aye, Aye!" Dark Shadow said, elongating his arm and twirling around Undine's attacks while carrying Midoriya. ´Todoroki told me that the spirits are beings made out of mana, and that when they encountered Salamander both Asta and Noelle were able to injure it gravely with powerful and effective attacks.' Midoriya smashed an incoming attack, disintegrating it into a cloud of mist ´So I'll just pummel her with attacks until she can't recover, and drain her mana!'.

"Don't you think you can attack my friends and get away with it!" Midoriya said ´Increase the output even more. Don't give her a chance! If I can't kick fast enough, I'll punch!'. Mana Enhance – One for All! Midoriya launched a consecutive barrage of punches accompanied by destructive waves of air pressure at Undine, hurting her and dispersing the water around her with extreme air pressure. When more and more hit their mark, Undine was slowly and visibly shrinking into the water mass that surrounded the entire cavern.

´I nearly have her…but my arms are getting tired from using 40% so much!'.

"We are here to stop the intruders, sorry for being late!" A familiar voice said, and soon, three people descended into the cavern.

Dark Shadow gently put Midoriya down on the ground as Tokoyami descended down to the floor as well. "I fear that'll be us." Midoriya said, turning to the people.

"Wait, Deku?!" Asta exclaimed "And birdman as well. what are you doing here?".

"A better question would be why were you fighting the Heart Kingdom's forces?" Noelle asked, clad in what looked like water armor. ´A new spell, awesome!'.

"That will be my mistake." Gadjah said, appearing out of nowhere and descending into the cavern "I forced them into a fight, and because they defeated me, Undine was forced to fight as well." he turned towards the young heroes "I do apologize. I fought you to assess your magic stages, but it seems like you have none."

"They don't really need them" Mimosa said "they utilize another form of powers, and they are quite formidable"

"After this fight, I can see that." Gadjah said "but you," he pointed at Midoriya "you seem to have only remnants of mana in your body.".

"yeah, it's probably because I can manipulate mana to a certain degree." Midoriya explained "I see…that's very interesting.".

"It's good to have you back with us, Deku!" Asta said, before noticing Iida. "Who's the four-eyes?".

"Excuse me-" Iida was cut off by Midoriya "This is Tenya Iida, my friend."

"Nice to meet you, glasses!" Midoriya said.

"Thank goodness it turned out to be a false alarm." Mimosa said "We should probably should introduce you all to Lolopechka.".

"Lolopechka?" Tokoyami asked.

"The queen of the Heart Kingdom." Mimosa explained. ´The queen…that's right, the mage that controls the Water Spirit! Gadjah told us about it earlier. Guess I wasn't paying attention.'.

"You probably should" Undine said, emerging again from the water "She is waiting for your arrival.". and with that, the Water Spirit disappeared.

"I'm afraid I kind of…destroyed our boat during the fight" Midoriya said, rubbing the back of his head.

"It's fine" Tokoyami said "I have enough energy to transport both of you and Iida."

"Thank you very much, Tokoyami" Midoriya said, as Dark Shadow's arm once again wrapped around him "I'm actually rather tired.".

"Your little pet is interesting indeed" Gadjah said "Naturally, dark magic is the weakness of light magic, but for you it seems to be the opposite."

"It's because it's not magic, Gadjah" Mimosa said.

Dark Shadow picked Iida up as well, before taking off into the sky. "You lead the way." Tokoyami said.

Gadjah nodded, before flying away, with the rest of them in tow. ´Tokoyami has gotten better with his Black Fallen Angel Technique.'. From above in the sky, Midoriya had a better look at the beautiful kingdom which lied beneath him. ´Iida was right. This sure looks like paradise.'.

"Wait, Asta!" Midoriya called out to his friend "Since when you can fly without your black form?!".

"Oh, this?" Asta asked "I learned that technique while training here for the last couple of months.".

"There is something that is bothering me." Gadjah said "Why are you wearing a bird mask?".

"This is my real face." Tokoyami responded.

"Gadjah, where they came from people can look really weird and have supernatural abilities. Just like them." Asta explained.

"I see. Sorry for the question then" Gadjah said.

"It's okay, I realized that is probably how you would react to this." Tokoyami said "Where are we heading exactly?".

"The Royal Palace." Noelle answered.

Overhaul's P.O.V

It's been about a day since Overhaul and his subordinates arrived at this cold, hostile land. Overhaul was cold, he was hungry, and he was doing his best to not get dirty. Basically, he was about at the end of his patience.

He glanced at the new forearms that served as a replacement for the ones Shigaraki stole from him. ´That bastard…I'll make him pay one day. At least the doctor was able to give me these ones.'. As an addition to the ability to use his quirk again, the new hands came with other benefits.

After walking for several hours through the cold country, they finally managed to reach what looked like a settlement. ´Finally…'.

"You can't enter." One of the guards in the gate said.

"Who are you, anyway?" another one asked "Don't you dumb shits know that only the military has access to this place?".

"Go back to where you came from." The first guard said.

"Come again?" Overhaul said.

"I told you to fuck off." The first guard said, and was soon disintegrated into a cloud of blood by Overhaul.

"Wh-What did you do!?" the remaining guard screamed in terror, and was soon silenced when Overhaul grazed him with his finger, disintegrating him as well.

"Look at you, boss." Kakuzo said "As ruthless as ever."

"let's go see if the other people around here are nicer…" Overhaul said, forcing the gate open with his sheer strength. ´I guess the doctor can be proud of his work.'.

Overhaul sauntered into the supposed Military only settlement. 'No people walking around.'. Overhaul decided to head towards a large building, one which had a warm glow emitting from its windows. The smell of roasted food reached Overhaul's nostrils, and his pace hastened.

When he reached the door of the building, he opened it wide without hesitation, revealing a large food hall filled with people that all wore the same kind of uniform.

Overhaul drew their attention, and he realized their animosity towards him before they even opened their mouths.

He let out a sigh, placing his right hand on the wall next to him. "Honestly". Overhaul scanned the room, seeing some of the people getting up from their seats. He instantly overhauled the building's walls, forming spikes that fatally pierced everyone in the room. All except one guy, which Overhaul impaled only to restrain.

He and his subordinates walked into the room, and Overhaul picked up a piece of bread from the nearest plate.

"I don't know who you people are" Overhaul said, eating the bread "But I'm gonna know very soon. Or rather, you're gonna tell me.". he walked towards the only living man in the room besides him, who was screaming out in pain, and avoiding the blood trickling from the spikes he formed, which started pooling on the floor. ´Disgusting! I'll leave this place as soon as I can.'.

Midoriya's P.O.V

Well. after all of the grand descriptions everyone gave to the queen, Midoriya was kind of disappointed when he discovered what kind of person she really was. ´I was imagining something along the lines of the Wizard King, but not that!'. Midoriya wouldn't even think the clumsy girl in front of him was a queen unless he was told she is.

"Our Spirit Guardians can help train you if you choose to lend us your strength" She said after falling down. Again.

"That'll be a problem, Lolopechka" the Water Spirit that materialized behind her said "Since none of them have any magic."

"Actually, I would like to train the three of them." Gadjah said "I may have a way to do so."

"It's settled, then!" The queen, Lolopechka, said "Now, I wonder…what is that monster that comes out of your belly?" she asked Tokoyami. ´Poor Tokoyami. He has such a hard time here with these things.'.

"His name is Dark Shadow" Tokoyami replied and brought out Dark Shadow "and he's sentient."

"Oh, he has a name? Does that mean you're possessed by a shadow monster? Did he turn you into a bird, too?" Lolopechka asked.

Instead of replying, Tokoyami just gave her a dumbfounded face.

"You better give your all in training." Gadjah said "We'll be starting tomorrow. We have about two months left before launching our attack on the devil of the Spade Kingdom.".

"Spade Kingdom? Devils?" Iida asked.

"It seemed like we'll need to feel you in." Asta said.

The next day

Midoriya and his friends were standing in a clearing with the Spirit Guardian Gadjah, who has summoned them early in the morning to start training.

"The reason I requested permission to be in charge of your training is because, after our fight, an idea has been crystalizing in my head." Gadjah said "At the start, when I met you, I could tell none of you had magic, but after the fight with Undine, I could feel remnants of Mana in Izuku's body."

"That's probably due to Mana Enhance." Midoriya said "I can't use complicated magic, but when concentrating, I can use simple reinforcement magic by using the surrounding mana."

"That was my theory." Gadjah replied "You see, for anyone born here, mana and magic are natural things, and everyone can master control over mana. That is just the nature of humans. But I think that for you, while everyone born here are vessels for mana, you're more like…broken vessels. That's why you need to concentrate a lot to control mana, and why after using the technique, it doesn't stay inside of you. Let's take me and Izuku as examples: While I have a constant reserve of mana inside me, Izuku needs to draw surrounding mana in order to use it. Which is actually quite impressive and complicated as well, since it's a mix between mana zone and reinforcement magic, which explains why it takes a lot of effort for you to use it.".

"that makes sense." Midoriya said "But you see, one of my friends was able to do it much easier than I can. Maybe you have an explanation for this, too?".

Gadjah paused for a couple of seconds before speaking again "It is possible different people have different talent for magic, just like it is here. We'll have to test it and find out."

"So…do you think we'll be able to use actual spells?" Tokoyami asked.

"I doubt it." Gadjah said "If it takes such a toll on Izuku to use, it may mean you won't go beyond basic mana manipulation, but then again…maybe basking in the natural mana of the Heart Kingdom will do some good for you. After all, magic and a grimoire are bound to one's soul, so it's not impossible you could obtain the ability to use spells, but I wouldn't hold my breath."

"I see…" Iida said "so what exactly do you want us to do?"

"Master the technique Izuku uses, first," Gadjah instructed "and then we can begin the real training. Is there anything else you might need?".

"Not really, but I thank you for the clothes you gave us." Midoriya said, and the Spirit Guardian nodded before taking off to the sky in a flash of lightning.

"I am not behind this" Iida said "We should train our quirks while we can, not focus on some magic nonsense."

"But Iida, this technique can drastically increase your quirks capabilities here." Midoriya replied.

"While we're here…" Iida said "…I'm not planning to stay here. While I do understand your feelings towards this place, Midoriya, I am committed to being a hero back home, and my family…I don't want to think about how my parents and brother reacted when they heard I'm missing.".

´I see, he misses home. I can't really blame him…I get the feeling'.

"Don't feel too bad, Iida." Midoriya said "I'm sure the heroes will come for us once they rescue Iriguchi."

´Although…now that I know what's going on here, I can't be sure I'll want to go back home just yet. Not while there are people that need to be saved. I'm sure they'll understand. My mother, All might, Endeavor and the rest of the heroes that came here…they all share this secret with us.'.

"While we're here, I don't see anything wrong with learning some new tricks." Tokoyami said "Don't get me wrong Iida, we all feel the same, but I think you should be a little bit more positive."

"It's weird hearing that from you" Iida said, cracking a little smile "I'll take your advice, but I still hope we can get back home soon.".

"All right, then" Midoriya said "I'll teach you this technique now."

´To be honest, it'll be really good to train this technique while in this Kingdom.'.

"It's kinda hard to explain, so bear with me." Midoriya said "As I explained to you already, mana exists here in everyone, and everything. It is used for magic and spells, and we can also manipulate it for a certain degree, for using Mana Enhance. Mages in this world use mana for the use of reinforcement magic that boosts their physical. Since quirks are physical abilities, this technique boosts their capabilities too, letting us do things we can't currently do on our own."

"It seems reasonable…" Iida said "But you didn't explain how we do it."

"Oh, sorry, sorry." Midoriya said "You have invite the mana to flow into you, and through training and concentration, you should be able to achieve that."

"That seems really vague" Tokoyami said "I can't really understand that."

"Ummm…I have an idea!" Midoriya said "I'll teach you how to sense Ki, and this should help you understand!".

"Ki?"

"Ki is the energy given off by living things and even inanimate objects." Midoriya explained "Muscles moving, breathing, all those things fall under the term "Ki", and if you can sense Ki, you can tell things are coming without even seeing them or hearing them. And by extension, it'll give you a better understanding off your own body, so I'm sure It'll you understand."

"How will you exactly teach us that?" Iida asked.

Midoriya thought for a couple seconds before responding. "I saw a waterfall on our way here, so let's go there!".

After some walking through the forest, the young heroes could see the waterfall which spilled into a river, and had some boulders jutting out of the water. "Let's sit over there on the stones in the middle of the water." Midoriya said, standing on the river bank. ´I can see some fish inside the water…this is perfect.'.

Midoriya removed his shirt before bounding over to one of the rocks, with Iida and Tokoyami following suit.

"Honestly…" Iida said, removing the shirt he had been given by Gadjah as a replacement for his suit's armor "To think we'll be doing this right now while it's winter back home.".

"So, I think I have a way to train you" Midoriya said as his friend joined him atop the boulders jutting out of the water "Can you see the fish swimming through the water? They have their own Ki. So What I want you to do is close your eyes and try to catch fish."

"Are you sure this is the best exercise we could be doing?" Tokoyami asked.

"I mean, I heard Bakugo had stones thrown at him to learn how to sense Ki." Midoriya replied.

"I think we'll stick to catching fish then." Tokoyami said.

´This should be good, since they can't hear or smell the fish.'.

"Here, I'll give you an example" Midoriya said, closing his eyes and feeling the fish's Ki. After a couple of seconds, he quickly reached his hand into the water in a flash, catching a fish and bringing it out to view. "See?" he threw it back into the water "You shouldn't try to use a certain sense. It's more like a combination of all your sense, and beyond them."

"This seems more like a quirk than a natural ability." Iida said.

"It may seem strange at first, but I think you should get used to it by now." Midoriya replied "I get your feeling though, because I had much more time to get used to the idea of magic and this magical world."

"I guess I should" Iida said, closing his eyes.

´While they are busy doing this, I guess I might as well train my Mana Enhance.'. Midoriya quietly got up, before bounding over to the rocks which the waterfall poured on.

Midoriya reached his hand to touch the water, quickly pulling his hand away from the cold water. ´This will do.'. Midoriya sat on the rocks, letting the cold waterfall pour over him. ´I'll use Mana Enhance to create a mana barrier and keep the cold away from my body.'.

Midoriya concentrated, drawing in mana to his body. Mana Enhance – One for All.

Slowly but surely, the cold dissipated away until Midoriya couldn't feel it anymore. ´That's good, but I'll take it further.'. Midoriya got up and jumped into the clear water of the river, seeing the little fish scatter away from him.

After a couple of seconds, he resurfaced, gasping for air. ´I just had an idea…in the fight Against Undine fighting underwater was really taxing, so maybe I should do underwater training? I'll ask Lolopechka if she can help me with that.'.

"Deku, are you here?" Midoriya heard Mimosa call out.

"Yeah, I'm over here." Midoriya replied, swimming over to the river bank.

"Oh, I finally found you." Mimosa said, emerging from the forest.

"Hey there, Mimosa." Asta greeted his friend before climbing out of the river.

Mimosa's face turned red as she set her eyes on the half-naked Midoriya, and she immediately looked aside. "D-Deku, put some clothes on!".

"Sorry, sorry." Midoriya said, rubbing the back off his head "We're just training in the water?".

"You know, Deku, your body doesn't match your face." Mimosa remarked.

"I've been told that before" Midoriya said, cracking a smile "What did you want?".

"Sorry to interrupt your training, but a message came in for you." Mimosa said, pulling out a circular object "From the Wizard king.".

´The Wizard King? I wonder what he wants?'. Midoriya looked back at his friends, who were still busy with their training. Especially Iida, who just fell into the cold water.

The device lit up, creating a screen in the same fashion as Marx's magic, and true to form, the Wizard King appeared on it, with Marx standing behind him. "Izuku, as Mimosa probably told you, I have important news to share with you." The Wizard King said "Recently, our scouts found something peculiar. As they described it, it was a Spade Military camp, but what they found inside was truly horrifying. According to their report, everyone in the camp has been massacred. But the most important detail is how. They were all impaled on spikes that jutted out from the walls, but the thing is, no magic was used to form the spikes. Could it be connected to the man you warned us about?".

"My goodness…" Mimosa covered her mouth in shock.

´That monster…even if they are our enemy, he killed them all in cold blood.'.

"This is exactly it." Midoriya answered "Those spikes are his quirk in action".

"Quirk?" The Wizard King asked.

"the special abilities people from my home possess." Midoriya explained "Like I told you, Chisaki's quirk is called Overhaul, and it allows him to disassemble and reassemble anything he touches. He probably touched the walls and reassembled them into spikes."

"I see." The Wizard King said "I'll try and find out where he went after the massacre and warn the scouts to never engage him. I'll be in touch if anything else happens.". and with that, the screen disappeared as the device powered down.

"Deku…who is this guy you were talking about?" Mimosa asked.

"Kai Chisaki, or by his alias, Overhaul, is a dangerous villain from my home." Midoriya explained.

"Where do you know him from?" Mimosa asked "It seemed like you know him."

Midoriya sighed "Let's sit down, and I'll tell you." Midoriya over to a thick tree, and sat up against it.

"Okay" Mimosa said, sitting beside him.

"So, a long time ago, A bunch of heroes, including me and my friends, came together in order to take down Overhaul and his organization." Midoriya said "We had discovered he was using a very young girl in order to create a weapon out of her blood. A weapon that can erase quirks."

"Create a weapon…from a child's blood?" Mimosa asked.

"Me and my senior hero were very determined to save her since we already failed to do so once." Midoriya continued his story "my senior lost his quirk while protecting the girl from the weapon Overhaul made from her own blood, another hero was killed protecting girl, and I managed to defeat him only by using 100% of my power.".

"100% of your power?" Mimosa asked.

"Yeah, remember in the dungeon, way back then? When I used that huge wind pressure attack? That was by using 100% of my power in my finger." Midoriya explained.

"Oh, and I remember your finger broke afterward…" Mimosa said.

"Yeah, that's why I don't use 100% of my power." Midoriya replied "my body can't handle the pressure, and it breaks."

"I see…so how did you do it back when you fought Overhaul?" Mimosa asked.

"the same girl he used to create the quirk-erasing weapon. her quirk allows her to reverse a person's body to a previous state. So she was reversing my body while I was continuously breaking it, it was so fast in fact, I didn't even feel the pain from breaking my body."

"Deku, that seems extremely dangerous. Please don't do it ever again." Mimosa said.

"I don't plan on doing it again." Midoriya flashed her a reassuring smile.

"So wait, how much of your power can you use now?" Mimosa asked.

"Now, I can use 30% comfortably throughout my body, although I can use higher percentages, it's more taxing." Midoriya replied.

"I see." Mimosa said "It's actually pretty interesting to think about how everyone in your home has a different power individual to them. I wonder what other quirks your friends have."

"Well, there are a lot." Midoriya said. ´Finally, the subject I'm most knowledgeable about'. "I know about a lot of quirks…I mean, I know a guy that can merge into black things, a girl who can turn giant, a guy who can liquefy anything he touches, a guy who can permeate through everything and a guy who can create clones of himself and control them at will. My homeroom teacher has the power to erase your quirk by looking at you."

"That's really interesting." Mimosa said "Here it's not every day you come across a rare type of magic.".

"It's because your quirk is mostly a combination of your parents' quirks." Midoriya explained "I'm mean, let's take Todoroki as an example: his quirk is making ice from his right side and fire from his left, and it's a combination of both his parents ' quirks. His mother has an ice quirk, and his father…you met his father."

"We can talk more later." Mimosa said, getting up "Because I have my own training to attend to."

"I guess we'll talk later, then" Midoriya replied, getting up too.

"I'll see you later, Deku" Mimosa said, giving Midoriya a quick hug before hurrying away, leaving Midoriya frozen in place.

"B-Bye…" Midoriya said quietly.

"Midoriya, don't just sit idle!" Iida called out to him "You should train as well!".

"Have you managed to do it yet?" Midoriya asked.

"No, but I think I should clear my head with a bit of kick practicing." Iida said, putting his glasses back on.

"I think we should get some food" Tokoyami said "Or maybe that weird juice Gadjah gave us yesterday."

"All right, then" Midoriya said "Me and Iida will train, and you can go bring some food"

"Works for me" Tokoyami said, putting his cloak back on, before taking off with Dark Shadow.

"Let's go then, Midoriya!" Iida said, charging at him.

"All right, Iida!" Midoriya replied, getting into a stance. One for All: Full Cowl 20%!

In a split-second, Iida was already bringing a kick down on Midoriya, and the latter blocked it with his forearm. "You've really gotten faster, Iida!". Midoriya said, pushing Iida away.

´It wouldn't be fair to him if I don't fight back.'.

Midoriya then retaliated with his own kick, which missed its mark, but opened him to another kick from Iida. Iida kicked Midoriya's side, and the latter flew away before impacting the river and sinking into the water.

Midoriya smiled, before jumping out of the water and landing on the river bank. "I still have some things to learn about kicking, I guess." Midoriya said.

"Then I'll happily teach you" Iida replied, giving Midoriya his own smile.

They proceeded to practice to their kicks on each other, with Iida giving Midoriya pointers when needed.

"Look at the both of you working hard." Tokoyami said, coming back with Dark Shadow carrying a tray of fruit with him. "Care for a little snack?".

"Wait for us a little bit more" Midoriya said, blocking another kick from Iida "We'll finish her soon."

"I think I'm pretty much done for now" Iida said, stopping his attack "I'll get back to work on that "Ki" thing after we eat, Midoriya. So you should find something else to train."

"Same here" Tokoyami said, munching on a fruit.

"I see…" Midoriya said, sitting on the grass next to Tokoyami "I guess I'll concentrate on power training exclusively."

"As much as I don't want to admit this…" Iida said, sitting next to Midoriya "Training here is really nice."

´Those fruits are really nice, too.' Midoriya thought, eating the fruit he has never seen before ´I need to think outside of the box…where can I apply my simple control of mana in order to make my use of if better? Until now, I was only doing what Mereoleona and Yaoyorozu taught me.'.

"Something on your mind, Midoriya?" Iida asked.

"Nohing important, I'm just thinking about the mana control I wanna teach you" Midoriya replied.

After some time of sitting on the grass under the shade of the trees, Iida got up. "I think it's time we should get back to training." He said, before walking again towards the river, with Tokoyami in tow.

"I guess I'll stop slacking off, too." Midoriya said, getting up. ´I'll have to think…maybe some training would give me a direction!'.

A form suddenly appeared out of the water, and before him, a smaller Undine materialized. "There you are." She said "Lolopechka wants to inform you that a Spade Kingdom force has been discovered in the Magic region between the Spade and Heart Kingdoms, and it's heading our way."

"The Spade Kingdom?" Iida asked "I didn't think we are going to fight them yet."

"No need to." Midoriya said "I'll go, you guys still need to learn Ki sensing, or else we can't start the mana training." He turned towards Undine "I assume that's what you're here for?".

"Yes." Undine said, surrounding him by a water bubble "Off you go". The bubble flew up and away from the river, and towards a part of the Heart Kingdom Midoriya never visited.

'She didn't even let me put on my shirt first! Wait a minute…maybe that's it! If I could muster enough mana to coat my skin with a thick shell, it could probably be really useful.'. Soon after reaching the edge of the forest, the bubble burst, dropping Midoriya on the ground.

In the distance, he could see a huge spider-like construct move through the terrain. ´What the hell is that?! Is that the Spade forces? If this is the enemy…I'll meet them head-on!'. One for All: Full Cowl 30%!

Midoriya started charging towards the moving structure, taking huge leaps forward and cratering the ground every time he lands.

As he got closer, he could see the structure more clearly. He could differentiate between the three levels which the structure was made off. First, the bottom level was where the spider-like legs of the construct were, the bottom level seemed to be made almost entirely out of glass, and the upper part looked like a fortified structure. ´A moving fortress, perhaps? But why have the giant glass part then?'.

Midoriya put in more power into his next leap, launching himself like a bullet through the glass with a kick.

Landing inside, the first thing Midoriya could see was a cylindrical glass chamber in the middle of the room, one that had some people inside. The people inside the chamber looked frail, on the edge of death. ´What is this? They don't look like soldiers.'.

"Intruder! Sound the alarm!" he heard a man cry out.

Turning around to face the man, he could see someone that looked to be wearing some kind of uniform.

Without hesitation, in a split-second, Midoriya delivered a kick to the man's midsection, knocking him into a wall.

It wasn't enough though, as Midoriya could hear an alarm blare throughout the structure.

´If those people in the chamber aren't soldiers…' Midoriya went over to the glass chamber ´…I'll ask them what is this place.'. Midoriya smashed a hole in the glass wall with ease, and the people inside weakly turned to look at him.

"Are you okay?" Midoriya gave the tired-looking people a reassuring smile "It's fine, I won't hurt you.".

The people stirred around, and Midoriya even saw a young kid amongst them. ´What is this place?'.

"Why are you locked up in here?" Midoriya asked, noticing that energy seemed to be emitted from them before being siphoned into a disk at the top of the chamber.

"We are nothing but low-class citizens." An elderly said weakly "So they use us to power up the moving fortress. They keep us around only to take away our magic…there's no escape from this place."

´They're frightened, like victims of war. That's the least I can do as a hero…is reassure them, like All Might would!'

"Don't you worry, it's fine now." Midoriya mustered an encouraging smile despite his boiling blood "Because I am here." He gave them a thumbs-up, and saw them look at him like a peculiar thing.

´If they use them as batteries to power up their fortress…' Midoriya launched an air bullet at the siphoning disk by flicking his fingers, effectively destroying it ´I'll tear it down and get the people here to safety.'.

"There's the intruder!" A soldier shouted as a number of them entered the room.

Midoriya whipped around, launching a roundhouse kick at the man's direction. St. Louis Smash Air Force! the power from Midoriya's kick ripped through the spell the soldier was trying to cast, and hit the man with enough force to send him flying through the fortress' thick glass.

Hordes of soldiers came, and Midoriya blew through them with his incredible strength and speed. No one in the fortress could stand in the way of the explosive strength of One for All.

'I'll search for the commander of those soldiers, and take him out.'. Midoriya concentrated, sensing the mana flow all around him. After searching around for a bit, he found what he was looking for. The strongest magic in the entire fortress. ´What is with that ominous mana? Could it be…'.

Midoriya made his way through several walls, using his legs to break through them, until he finally reached his destination, the highest room in the fortress.

"I can't decide if you're a fool or too brave for your own good." An unknown voice said "But I do know one thing: your rampage ends here. After all…" a man approached him from behind "…I have the power of the devil.".

Turning around to look at his opponent, Midoriya saw a black-haired man with slicked-back hair and a nicely trimmed beard. "Now, perish". The man said, and Midoriya immediately felt intense cold hit his body. ´I didn't feel it coming! What is that!?'.

Ice Magic: Frostbite Hailstorm

'This area of effect magic…I can't dodge it! And it's hard to move like this!' More and more white particles swirled around the room, and Midoriya's opponent seemed to be untouched. ´I guess it's time to try it.'.

Midoriya concentrated, drawing surrounding mana to his body, and trying to condense it at his skin. And soon, a thin, green aura covered his skin, merging with the lightning that is usually emitted from him. ´It won't hold long, and I can still feel this bone-chilling cold. But at least I can move!'.

Midoriya charged his surprised opponent. "You may hold the devil's power, but it doesn't seem you hold a lot!". Midoriya flipped around in mid-air before bringing down an axe-kick on the surprised mage. Manchester Smash 5%!

"This seemed to be the last of them" Looking around at the room, Midoriya decided to go back down to the middle part of the fortress.

"All of them…you defeated all of them…" one of the people said as Midoriya got back to the glass chamber, seeing that everyone left it.

"Yeah! You're safe now." Midoriya said "I said it would be fine now, didn't I?".

"You're…You're are our hero!" another person said "We'll owe you our lives!".

"You don't owe me anything" Midoriya said "After all, this is the job of a hero."

Midoriya suddenly sensed other people approaching the fortress, and he looked outside the fortress' windows at their direction. Soon after Asta and Noelle who was carrying Finral and Mimosa came through the hole Midoriya tore in the window, entering the fortress.

"You guys!" Midoriya said "What are you doing here?".

"How were you planning to transport the people out of here?" Noelle asked.

"I…didn't think that far ahead." Midoriya admitted.

"And why are you still not wearing a shirt?" Mimosa asked, her face turning red.

"I was kidnapped by the Water Spirit! It's not my fault!" Midoriya excused "A-Any way, those people here need help."

"Leave it to me." Mimosa said, bringing out her grimoire and walking over to the people. Soon after, a magic circle appeared on the ground, and flowers started spreading all around the magic circle. Plant Recovery Magic: Healing Princess Flower Paradise. Mimosa was clad in her plant outfit and sat in the middle of the circle. ´She mix both her protection spell and healing spell into a large-scale healing spell! She really is amazing!'.

"I can't do anything about your mana, but I'll heal up your stamina" Mimomsa said.

"That's our Mimosa!" Asta said "She powered up like crazy during the training!".

"We thank you for all your help, heroes." The elderly man from earlier said "but we have nowhere to return to…"

"Your homes have all been occupied by the military, right?" Noelle asked "That won't be a problem. The Heart Kingdom's Queen has agreed to house you all in the Heart kingdom until we can take back your homes.".

"Thank you…" a girl said.

"Thank you so much!" another man said.

Finral got his grimoire out, opening a portal for the people to go through. "Through here, please!" Finral said, and the Spade citizens proceeded to go through the portal.

Once everyone went through, Finral closed the portal, and opened a new one, which they all went through.

The portal led to outside of the Heart Kingdom's Royal Castle. ´The air is much nicer than the strong magic region…'.

"Welcome back, all of you!" Leopold greeted them, standing next to Luck.

"Luck, Leopold, you're here too?!" Midoriya asked "Why didn't you tell me, Asta?".

"Sorry" Asta said, rubbing the back of his head.

"Heya, Izuku, if you got some free time, fight me okay?" Luck said.

Midoriya followed all of them inside the castle in silence, before Leopold spoke up again. "You know, Izuku, your face doesn't match your body."

"I've been told so, yeah." Midoriya said. ´I don't think people cared so much even about Tokoyami's bird head…Maybe I should get a shirt.'.

"Yeah, I mean, people say my muscles are gross, but yours just don't match your face." Asta remarked. ´That's not hurtful at all…'.

"You know, Asta isn't wearing a shirt either." Midoriya said, trying to derail the conversation. ´I wonder how Iida and Tokoyami are handling their training.'.

"But we're used to him." Noelle replied.

"Welcome back, all of you!" the queen greeted them as they entered her throne room "we managed to take out a moving fortress and a border side outpost. If we keep up, we can push the Spade Kingdom devil to a corner! But I think that'll be enough for today. Great job, all of you!".

"I haven't fought nearly enough yet." Luck said, turning to the Spirit Guardian that stood beside the queen "Hey, Gadjah, fight me!"

"I'd like to experience your strength too, Master Gadjah!" Leopold said "So please, spar with me!".

"Me too, please!" Asta yelled. ´Old habits, huh?'.

"You just returned from missions. Go get some rest." Gadjah said.

"I didn't get to fight, so don't worry about me!" Asta replied "But I'm sure Deku will join us, right?".

"Sure…" Midoriya said, flashing his friend a little smile.

"Then let's all fight a deathmatch together!" Luck said.

"I'm getting all fired up!" Leopold exclaimed.

"That looks fun, I want to fight too!" Lolopechka said.

"That's ridiculous…" Noelle said "I got dirty in that strong magic region, so I think I'll go take a bath."

"I'll come too, Noelle" Mimosa replied.

"Lolopechka will go too." The Water Spirit standing behind Lolopechka's throne said "Princess, please forgo the battle for an elegant bath.".

Endeavor's P.O.V

"Welcome, detective tsukauchi" Endeavor greeted the police detective that came to meet him in his Hero agency office.

"Good afternoon, Endeavor" Tsukauchi replied.

"If you wanted to meet me, I guess you probably uncovered something important" Endeavor said, getting straight to the point "Perhaps the location of Iriguchi?".

"No, we are still working on locating the hideout of the Nine Harbingers…" Tsukauchi said "But we did uncover other important things. First of all, we managed to hack their network, and we discovered that they are referred to by codenames to avoid detection. It's mostly vague, but two interesting names did pop up: Code 0 – Overhaul, and Code 9 -Blackbird."

"Overhaul is a given, after his sudden escape from Tartarus, it was pretty obvious he was affiliated with them." Endeavor said "But Blackbird…is it like the "Project Blackbird"? are you suggesting it's a person?".

"That's exactly what I think" Tsukauchi said "but the most disturbing thing we discovered was what Blackbird is. It's a weapon. We believe that Doctor Shiguma is trying to recreate the treatment Doctor Kyudai Garaki gave to Shigaraki.".

"He's trying to recreate that monster?" Endeavor remembered fighting the monster Shigaraki had became "If he succeeds…"

"But he didn't succeed. At least not for now" Tsukauchi said "So we believe they traveled to the other place in order to try and harness its unique powers.".

"It will be a failed endeavor then," Endeavor said "Even the young heroes who were there for a long time couldn't harness it completely."

"You may be right." Tsukauchi replied "But we fear they might find allies there who can harness that power. I don't know about you, but I would like to keep dealing quirked-up criminals without throwing damn magicians into the mix.".

"Tsukauchi, don't you forget, that world has its own heroes. I met some of them myself." Endeavor said "Our top priority will be locating Iriguchi and reopening the portal to that place. Don't worry about the kids, they will not be alone over there.".

"This isn't all, Endeavor." Tsukauchi said "I think you'll want to see this." Tsukauchi pulled out a tablet from his trench coat "One of our detectives managed to uncover this. So remember, what you're about to see has cost a man his life.".

"Today is truly a joyous day" Doctor Shiguma said "I synthesized and transplanted the first quirk in the subject. Refer to Video logs 5 through 8 for the procedure. Finally, today, the subject shows complete adaptability to all procedures due to her unique physique."

Shiguma moves away from the camera, showing a vat filled with a dimly glowing blue liquid, with a dark figure floating inside of it.

"I'll have to run more tests before I can go on to the next quirk, since according to her handler, she displays weird blackout episodes and an extreme increase in metabolic rate. But maybe I can use that to my advantage".

"She is currently sedated, but just in case, I give her this." Dr. Shiguma shows the camera a syringe filled with a transparent liquid "This is Obliviscorin. It's my patented neural-trigger. It triggers the episodes of amnesia she had after the Kamino ward incident. Effectively, she won't remember anything that goes on here, in the chance that she even can."

Shiguma turned to look at the vat behind him "This is my greatest masterpiece. I plan on doing this amplification treatment to each and every one of the 7 other members once I master this treatment." He put his hand on the glass vat "So don't you dare die on me.".

"But I'm sure once the boss will be back, my job will be easier. with his quirk, of course." The doctor said "The final inclusion of this video log will be the development of my new synthesized quirk, the one Jetblack kindly obtained for me. "Bewitch" is its name, pretty interesting. and useful." the man turned back to the camera "once "Project Blackbird" is completed, the Nine Harbingers will bring the dawn to this Hero-age world."

"Doctor, are you done yet?" A deep voice of a man off-camera was heard.

"This concludes Video log 12. I'll hope for the results I want so I may proceed to the next phase.". the doctor quickly went over to the camera, shutting it off.

"What did I just watch, Tsukauchi?" Endeavor said.

"This confirms who Blackbird is." Tsukauchi replied "Kiyo Hikari, the girl in their custody. It seems like they are using her to recreate the treatment Shigaraki got, but that's not all. I dug up some police records, and found out a couple of cases of disappearing children from hospitals Dr. Shiguma worked in. That means she probably wasn't his first victim, but I don't know for sure. Talk about ethical violations."

"Villains…" Endeavor said "To think such cruelty can reside in a human's heart…As the number one hero, I'll personally purge Overhaul and his underlings. So please do make haste, Tsukauchi".

"Of course, Endeavor." Tsukauchi said, leaving Endeavor's office.
