A/N: It was SUPPOSED to be over…but NAEIOU PeterOinNYC just couldn't let it die. (thanks again, seriously!) and it's continuing after this one. At least two more chapters, I don't even say anything's done anymore because I just took a fic off of completed and moved it to ongoing….wait, what? You'll see soon. Ch 4.

Disclaimer: I don't own Chuck

"So, dinner next weekend with Ellie and Devon," Sarah said, hanging up the phone as Chuck carried in a box. "Is that it?"

"That's all that's in the little trailer," Chuck replied. He paused, watching her. "Hey, you are good with this, right?"

She gave him a look, walked over to him and took the box from his hands, setting it on the couch. She wrapped her arms around him. "I love you, I'm married to you, and I want this. I know I've been weird about it, but, I want this. You've been so good about all of it, giving me time. I love you, Mr. Bartowski."

"I love you, Mrs. Bartowski," Chuck replied, kissing her.

"Gotcha," Carina said, opening the door, with Ellie and Devon behind them. "Next time tell me, and I won't have to play dirty." Sarah's eyes went wide.

One week ago

Carina stared down at the phone in her hand. Glancing to her other hand, she looked at the check Chuck Bartowski had sent her, noting the pre-printed address. "Idiot… no one pays with checks anymore." She twisted her lips, thinking. "I've had a bad breakup… I deserve to have some fun."

Now

"Carina!" Sarah yelled.

"Don't yell at Carina," Ellie said, walking in. Chuck slid in front of Sarah.

"Ellie, don't yell at Sarah," Chuck told his sister.

"Move, Chuck," Ellie said, staring at him.

"Chuck, move," Sarah said, putting her hands on his hips and moving him out of the way.

Chuck and Devon looked at each other, like a gunfight was about to break out at the OK Coral.

Suddenly Ellie moved, wrapping her arms around Sarah, spinning her around in the air. "I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU!" she squealed.

"Didn't see that coming," Carina groused.

Carina followed 'Hector' Bartowski, the man she knew was Charles, from his home to his place of work. "Barsoft, huh?" she said, pulling up outside. She gave him a minute to walk in, and then she followed. She walked up to the receptionist. "Hi, Carina Miller," she said, offering her hand.

"Alex McHugh," the receptionist replied.

"I need a favor… do you know a Sarah Walker?" Carina asked.

"I do," Alex said carefully.

"Oh, thank God!" Carina replied. "She's my best friend, and I found out she's dating Charles."

Alex laughed. "You mean Chuck?"

"Chuck, huh?" Carina replied, grinning.

Now

"Really, you stalked my boyfriend?" Sarah asked.

"Boyfriend?" Carina replied raising an eyebrow. Sarah twisted her lips, and looked at Chuck.

"You said it was time," Chuck reminded her.

"Fine," Sarah said, turning to the three. "Husband."

Ellie clapped her hands together, and squealed.

"My friend, she's had a problem with family in the past. I'm just worried that Chuck's family might judge her, and that would crush her," Carina said, blowing out a breath of frustration. "She deserves the best, you know?"

"So, you don't know about his sister Ellie, who basically raised Chuck?" Alex asked.

"No," Carina replied, truly surprised. "Please, tell me more."

Now

"Aw, I deserve the best?" Sarah asked, smirking at Carina.

"This is not at all going like I planned it," Carina groused.

"Ha! Backfired on you," Chuck said, laughing. His laugh fell as he saw Ellie's face. "Wait, you were happy, what happened?"

"Oh, I'm still happy little brother. But you got married without telling anyone you were freaking dating. You think you're gonna get a free pass on that?" Ellie asked.

Sarah leaned over to Chuck. "Still worth it?" she asked in a low voice.

"So worth it," Chuck replied, watching the look on Ellie's face change to a small, happy smile. "Whatever the punishment is, I'll take it."

Four days ago

"Are you Doctor Bartowski?" Carina asked Ellie, walking up to her at Westside Medical. "Sister of Chuck Bartowski, and sister-in-law of Sarah Bartowski?"

Now

"Wow!" Sarah said. "You must have really been pissed at John, walking out on you in Vegas."

"Wait, why was Carina in Vegas?" Ellie asked.

"This is really not going the way I planned," Carina groused.

"Apparently, John decided he didn't want to marry Carina, and left her at the altar. Carina told us we should take her wedding package, since it was already paid for," Chuck told Ellie.

"So, you set them up to get married?" Ellie said, spinning to Carina.

"This is just not her day," Sarah said to Chuck in a soft tone.

"Nope," Chuck replied, grinning.

About fifteen minutes ago

"He's unloading her stuff," Ellie said.

"It doesn't mean that they're married, babe," Devon said. "And so what if they are? They're adults, and they're clearly happy with each other."

"But why do they keep hiding it from the two of you?" Carina asked. "Why don't you call them and see what they say?"

"Fine," Ellie said, pulling out her cellphone. "Hey, Sarah… so I was wondering… yes, we'd love to have dinner with you. Do you want to do it tonight? Oh? Got big plans huh?" She looked up seeing Chuck carrying a box inside. "Oh, just movies… well, you guys enjoy. Yes, we can do dinner at Chuck's next weekend. See you soon."

"She didn't tell you, did she?" Carina asked, already walking over to the door.

"It's not something you'd tell over the phone," Devon argued.

Carina cracked the door and heard the words 'Mrs. Bartowski,' and gave Ellie a look. Carina swung the door open, proud of herself.

Now

"So why would you do this?" Chuck asked. "You suggested we get married, and then left, and now you do this?"

"I felt like you were throwing it in my face with the check," Carina grumbled.

"What?" Ellie said, stunned. "Carina, it's obvious you don't know my brother." She looked over at him. "While I do question his keeping things from me." Chuck gulped. "I know he'd never be one to rub anything in someone's face, especially break-ups!"

"Ellie," Carina began, her eyes wide.

"No, you listen to me: Chuck was trying in his knuckle-headed way to thank you. That's why he sent you the money. He wasn't trying to rub anything in!" Ellie said, walking closer and closer to Carina.

"Ellie, it's okay," Chuck said, grabbing her arm. She turned to Chuck. "She doesn't know me like you do, and if she's used to being treated a certain way by others in her life…" Chuck trailed off, and Ellie nodded.

"I'm sorry, Chuck," Carina said. "It hurt, what he did."

"I get it. I've been there," Chuck replied, nodding. He looked at everyone. "So… how about dinner tonight, and we tell you the rest of the story?"

"I'd like that. Any other surprises I need to know about?" Ellie asked, looking at Sarah.

"What?" she asked, and then it dawned on her. "God! No!"

"Ellie, that was a little mean," Chuck said.

"I found out you two were dating, and married, after the fact. I deserved that," Ellie replied, winking at Sarah.

"She did," Sarah replied. She and Ellie shared a smile. She wasn't at that time, but when she was… she looked over at Chuck and saw the happiness on his face. She had never been so happy to have gone on such a terrible double date in her life.

A/N: Next, the story of what happened in Vegas. Want a peak?

"I still think we're getting carried away in the moment."

"Maybe," he agreed. "Doesn't mean it's not the right thing to do. I love you, you know that, right?"

"God, Chuck, I love you, and again, you're it, it's just…" she trailed off and laughed. "I want to be with you, marry you, but…Vegas?"

"Listen, if it's some Elvis's you need, I'm sure we can get Daphne to hook us up." Sarah cracked up laughing. "But it's like you said, no muss, no fuss, it's just us."

She shook her head at him. "That was a lot of unnecessary rhyming." He laughed. "Ellie will murder us."

"Yeah, but isn't it worth it?" he asked. She didn't answer verbally, her smile gave away her thoughts.

I'm sure there is nothing that will get in the way of a Chuck and Sarah wedding….*watches show* Okay, NOTHING like that!
