Wow, I never thought I would write two chapters without uploading the first. My goal is to be about three chapters ahead of the upload, but that never happens. If I did do that, I would have a schedule, like maybe a chapter every two weeks, but again, probably never going to happen. I have a pick-it-up put-it-down writing style where I only write when I'm in the mood. So when I finish a chapter it could be a day after the previous one, or even six months after the previous one. By then, it's better just to upload when I'm done with the chapter.

Main Characters:

Ash

Dawn

Gold

Serena

Platinum

As Serena opened the door, Platinum screamed. There sitting right in front of the door was a weird grey, mutant looking cat with a spiral tail. It was making a strange sound.

"Glam...lameow. Meow, gla...glam."

"What is that thing!" Ash yelled

"Glameow, what's all the ruckus?" Someone said

"Is that, my mom?" Dawn asked

"I thought she died! Like 150 years ago!" Ash yelled

"She did!" Yelled Dawn. Just then, Johanna walked around the corner.

"I'm sorry, who are you?" Johanna asked. Ash noticed that although this was definitely Dawn's mother, she seemed to be in her early twenties.

"Oh sorry we just...um" Platinum started

"Oh I know, one of your Pokémon used teleport and accidentally took you to my house." Johanna said

"Oh, um, yeah." Serena said quickly before anyone denied the statement, or asked what a Pokémon was.

"I understand. Well I would invite you to stay for lunch, but I'm about to go. I have a contest, you see, and I'm running a little late. Best be on your way." Johanna told the group. She showed them to the door before quickly shutting it behind them. The vampires could hear her run up the stairs to finish getting ready for her "contest."

"Okay, I have a few questions." Serena said

"I think we all do." Ash replied

"First of all, what's a Pokémon?"

"What was that weird cat thing?"

"Can people just teleport in this world?"

"Why wasn't Dawn's mom, Johanna I think, worried that people are just, like, in her house?"

"What is my mom doing in this world?"

"I noticed the door was unlocked. Do people just leave their doors unlocked in this world?" Everyone rambled on for a few minutes, asking questions that they knew nobody had answers for. Even Platinum, the most rational of the group, was baffled from the events that just transpired. Dawn was the first to finish asking questions. She began to try to make sense of the situation with the pieces of evidence she had. After a while, the others began to listen to Dawn's mumbling.

"So the spell was called The Flip Side. I think the flip part means opposite. That must mean we're in a parallel universe of some sorts." Dawn deduced

"That would explain the weird cat thing." Platinum said

"And Dawn's mom." Ash added

"Maybe Pokémon are supernatural creatures in this universe, and their power is to teleport." Gold said

"No, I don't think that's the case. If they were supernatural creatures, then they wouldn't be well known, and most likely not owned." Dawn reasoned

"Well then, what are they." Asked Gold

"Well I can't say for certain, but they could possibly be regular ol' creatures. Maybe even pets." Dawn explained

"But still doesn't explain the teleport thing, the unlocked doors, and to not caring about random people in Johanna's house." Platinum said

"Yeah I got nothing." Dawn said in defeat

"Well, lets hope we find out later let's explore for now." Serena suggests. They wander around the town a come to the realization that they are in Lavander Town, but the weird creatures are everywhere. Serena recognizes the large tower towards the edge of town.

"Guys, look, it's Lavander Tower." Serena calls out to the group. As they got closer, however, she realized something.

"Wait a second, the sign says this building is Pokémon Tower."

"What!" Yelled Gold

"I know for a fact that in our world, that sign says Lavender Tower." Ash said

"Yeah it's a cemetery." Dawn adds

"Well maybe this is a cemetery for Pokémon, whatever they are." Platinum suggests. They go inside the tower and look around. They notice a receptionist and walk up to her.

"Hello, we're, uh, new here. What is this place?" Ash asks

"Oh, welcome to Lavander Town. This is the Pokémon Tower. When people's Pokémon pass away, they leave them here to rest." The receptions explains

"Oh, thanks." Ash says, a little disturbed by the idea of a pet cemetery.

"If you need any additional information, there are holoclips over there." The receptionist pointed to a display of barcodes in the corner.

"How do we use those?" Asked Serena. Ash, confused, turned to Serena.

"I don't know if cell phones exist in this world." Serena whispered to Ash. Ash nodded in understanding.

"You need a holocaster. They sell them at the Pokemart down the street for 50,000 Pokedollars. They have a special going on right now, buy 4 get a 5th one free, but I don't know who would buy 4 holocasters." The receptionist explained

"Ok, thanks again." Serena thanked the receptionist and walked out of the building.

"Alright, maybe if we buy a holocaster, we could find out some information about this world." Serena explained to the group

"Your right, but we don't have 'Pokedollars'."Ash said

"I have a currency spell, but it only swaps it with other forms of currency." Dawn offers. They agree to use the spell. Dawn takes out a dollar, and performs the spell on out.

"Alright, 1 dollar is 100 Pokedollars." Dawn said

"So a holocaster is 500 dollars." Platinum says

"Yeah but who has 500 dollars?" Serena asks rhetorically. Platinum slowly puts down five one-hundred dollar bills.

"Oh." Serena says a little embarrassed

"Ok, but first, who wants the holocaster?" Dawn asks

"Me!" Everyone else says

"I was kind of hopping nobody wanted it, so I could have it." Dawn sweatdropped. While everybody was arguing, Platinum silently put down 1,500 dollars.

"Just do the spell Dawn. I'll go and get it, we can decide who gets it later." Platinum said

"Alright, alright." Dawn did the spell, and Platinum quickly grabbed the money. She walked of into town, smiling.

"I can't believe I got away with it." She said to herself

"What's her problem?" Asked Serena

Platinum walked into the Pokemart.

"Woah!" She said. The store was filled with things called Pokeballs, potions, and TMs. She walked over to a display towards the back.

"Here they are." She saw their were a variety of colors, so she got ones that would suit her friends. Red for Ash, Pink for Serena, Yellow for Gold, Blue for Dawn, and Silver for herself. There was a video playing on the display, showing what the Holocasters do.

"Is that even possible?" Platinum said in awe. She walked up and waited in line by the cash register.

'Oh, I forgot about tax!' Platinum thought

'Let's hope there is none in this world.' She walked up to the cashier.

"Ah, you're purchasing 5 Holocasters, that'll be 2,000 Pokedollars." The clerk said. Platinum thought she was lucky there ended up being no tax. She walked out of the store and down the street, holding the Pokemart bag.

Serena looked at Ash. She couldn't help it. His raven hair a mess over his head, his hat on, partially covering it. His deep, red eyes, full of emotion. She just couldn't help it. She had a crush on him for centuries, but she thought she had gotten over it. But looking at him in this new vivid world, it just reminded her of what she used to feel, a long time ago...

Flashback - 1762

Serena looked at Ash. She couldn't help it, although he had been acting different lately. Come to think of it, he hadn't been to school in over a week. They just started eleventh grade, so it's not the best time to be skipping, but she didn't blame him. School can be stressful. But he should do his best in high school so he can go to college and get a high paying job to support his future family. She blushed at the thought of Ash and her having a family. She's had a crush on Ash ever since he saved her a Silph Co., but she didn't think he had a crush on her. But now she's questioning it. Ash had brought her up on this cliff all alone. Green told her to stay away from him ever since he started acting weird, but she didn't listen to him. Why should she?

"So Ash, this cliff has a nic..." Serena started

"Shut up Serena."

"What?"

"I said shut up."

"Why?" Enraged, Ash lunged at her, intending to feed off of her. All of the sudden, some one ran into Ash, pushing him out of the way.

"Green!" Serena yelled

"Hey Serena!" Green said nonchalantly

"What's wrong with Ash?" Serena asked concerned, and a little scared. Right now, he's knocked out on the floor.

"Serena, I hate to tell you this, but Ash is a vampire. Supernatural creatures exist. Ash is normally fine, but right now he has no humanity. White made him really upset by something I don't have time to explain. He will be better and back to normal when White patches things up with him, but right now I need you to stay away from him like I told you to." Green explained

"But look at him, he's bleeding. He can't be a vampire." Serena said, walking closer to him. But then, with her mouth open, she tripped and fell onto Ash, getting his blood into her mouth. Involuntarily, she swallowed, accidentally ingesting his blood. Serena got up and backed away, spitting on the ground. Green was about to say something, but just then, Ash woke up.

Fuming, Ash picked up Green. Green, not knowing what Ash was going to do, struggled with all his might. Unlike Ash, Green was not a supernatural creature, and he had no will to be one. Green realized Ash probably wanted to drink his blood. To prevent this, Green pulled up his shoulders and wrapped his arms around his neck. However, that was not what Ash was planning to do. He was to angry to drink Green's blood. Instead he threw Green over the edge of the cliff.

"Green, no!" Serena yelled as she ran to the edge of the cliff.

"Be careful Serena!" Green yelled as he was falling. Ash, now with Green out of the way, lunged at Serena. Once again, he was intending on drinking her blood. However, instead of grabbing her, he accidentally pushed her over the edge of the cliff.

Haha, cliffhanger. I'm sorry that wasn't funny. Well this is my longest chapter yet, with over 2000 words. I know it's not a lot compared to other writers, but I try my best. If I were to to write at this pace I have been this month, It would probably take half a month to write one chapter, and I won't be able to keep up that pace. I prefer sooner updates rather than longer chapters, but if anyone disagrees, please let me know. Anyways, thanks for reading, even if it's 20 years in the future.

Garry walked into Dawn's basement, searching for Ash. He wanted to see if he could copy his homework before Monday. In the basement, though, he only found a strange orange drink in a plastic bottle. He shrugged and drank it. It tased okay, but when he turned, he saw a huge portal on the wall. Curiosity got the better of him and he went through.
