Chapter 95: Quality Girl Time Part 2
After they explored the aquarium, Bianca took Fink to the local funzone like she had promised. Bianca took Fink to the padded trampoline area and Fink happily jumped into the walls. They then went indoor skydiving and played on the various bounce houses and bounce courses. Fink's stomach growled and she noticed that her doll was gone. "Sylvia!" she cried as she frantically searched for her. When she could not find her, she sank to the ground and cried. "Fink? What's wrong?" Binca asked softly. "I can't find Sylvia" Fink cried as Bianca hugged her. "Don't worry, we'll find her" Bianca comforted.
She heard a group of boys laughing and she noticed that one of them had Fink's doll. "Stay here, I'll go get her" Binca said as she released Fink. Fink wiped away her tears and she saw Bianca storming over to the boys.
"Hello there" Bianca said sweetly. "Go away lady!" One of the boys said. "Oh I will, once I get my daughter's doll back" she said sounding less sweet. "You mean her? That's your kid?" one of the boys laughed as he pointed to Fink. "Yes and I'll be taking that doll back" she said. One of the boys let out a shriek and a large woman walked over.
"What is going on? What did you do to my precious kid?" she roared and the kid smirked. "I did nothing, you kid on the other hand stole my daughter's doll. I was just asking for it back" Bianca responded calmly. "Why should he give it back? My little angel's been really good lately and he's been passing his classes in school so he deserves it" the mother roared. Bianca sighed and rubbed her temples. "Okay, I've had enough of this" she sighed and she motioned to a security guard. He noticed her and he walked over. Before the man could speak, the mother interrupted him. "Thank goodness you're here! This woman was trying to take my boy's doll" the large woman cried dramatically.
The security guard sighed. "Ma'am, I saw her and that girl over here walk in with it so I can prove that the doll isn't your son's. I suggest that you give the doll back or else I will kick you out" he said. The mother huffed as she took the doll from her son and handed it to Bianca. "Thank you sir" Bianca said sweetly. "Of course, anything for you Miss Ice Queen" he responded and the mother's face went pale. "Ice Queen? As in the hero?" she asked and Bianca nodded. Bianca walked over to Fink and handed her the doll. The girls then went out to dinner and one they were finished, they went back to Bianca's home.
"Fink, you've been awfully quiet ever since we left the fun zone. Are you alright?" Bianca asked worriedly once they were inside her home."Why have you been so nice to me today? What do you have to gain from spending time with me?" Fink asked through tears."Nothing" she responded as she kneeled down to Fink's level. "Look Fink, I can tell that all you really need is some parental affection. I may not be Professor Venomous, but I am technically his wife and I am the mother of his daughters and you if you like. I'm right here and I want to be here for you whenever you need me" she said and Fink began to cry even more. "There there, let it all out" Biancasaid as she hugged her and rubbed her back soothingly. Once Fink stopped crying, Bianca set her down on the couch. "What do you say we play Mixumups?" she suggested as she took out a small card game. "What's that?" Fink asked. "I'll show you" Bianca took out the cards and shuffled them. She then laid the cards face down and took eight cards for herself and handed eight cards to Fink. "I play the maid" she then set down a card face up that said 'maid' on it. "Is in the kitchen" the next card she laid down said "Kitchen" on it. "With a rubber duck" and the last card she laid down said 'rubber duck" on it.
The girls then spent an hour playing the game and laughing when they came up with a funny combination. Fink was putting the game away when she spotted a row of 'Lord Of The Loot' books and she pulled out the first one. "Since we have some time, could we read this together?" Fink asked as she handed the book to Bianca. She smiled softly and took Fink and the book into her bedroom. Fink crawled onto the bed with her new doll and Bianca sat next to her with the book. "I just thought that you would be more comfortable on the bed instead of the couch" she explained as she opened the book. Fink scootched next to her and Bianca placed her on her lap. She then began to read the book out loud. Once the book was finished, she softly closed it and looked at the clock.
A soft knocking was heard and Bianca carried the sleeping Fink to the front door. She quietly opened the door to reveal Professor Venomous. His eyes widened when he saw Fink sleeping peacefully in Bianca's arms. "She's usually asleep when the robots babysit her. Good job" he praised as he gently took Fink from her. "Well, it definitely helps to have an actual baby that I take care of without who I thought was my husband, but turned out to be a freaking goo clone" Bianca remarked and Professor Venomous looked away nervously.
"I have something for Fink" she said and Professor Venomous carried Fink to his car. Bianca came out of the house with a small bag of goodies and Fink's backpack. "These for Fink and Fink alone. The rest of her stuff is in my trunk" she explained as Professor Venomous opened the trunk of his car once Fink was inside the back. Bianca went over to her car and opened the trunk. Professor Venomous gawked at all of the bags as Bianca loaded them into the trunk. He helped her load the rest and once they were all secured in his trunk, he closed it and went to the front porch with Bianca.
"What?" she questioned when she noticed that he was following her. "Does this seem at all familiar?" he asked as he leaned against the doorway. She then remembered the first time that he,as Laserblast, walked her to her front door after she first went to P.O.I.N.T to join their team. "So, see you tomorrow?" Professor Venomous asked like he did all those years ago.
She scowled at him and she went into her house. Professor Venomous sighed and got into his car. Once he started it, he watched the front door for a while, expecting her to call to him like she did all those years ago. After a few minutes, he saw a light upstairs go off and he took that as his cue to drive off.
