Omen part 2
"Okay Aideen you can do this just get over the fear that's all you need to do" the human girl told herself. She had woken up unable to sleep do to the dreams or memories that were tormenting her sleep. She had tried to sing herself to sleep in order to make the dreams go away but when she closed her eyes they would come back or the voice would torment her. Deciding to, instead of sleeping and making her fear grow more, make use of the time she had she asked for a bow with water and tried to do the exercise in order to, at least get her powers back and for her to confront her fear. She stood in front of a bowl of water and closed her eyes in an instant memories came to her but she pushed them aside and focused on the memories that made her happy. She focused on the water and sow it rise until it was in the air. She smiled happily but then she felt her powers slipping and put the water back in the bow before it fell from the air and wetting her. Getting up she saw her mother's books and decided to read them. She had yet to see what the other book held but wanted to know how her mother had come to third earth and why she had said nothing to her children.

It has been 2 months since I have come here there are so many things that I did not know excited. I must say I do not like the fact that I was brought here by the necklace or that my mother had kept this from me. Yet I know the reason as to why she had wanted to keep it a secret. I wish my brother had come with me but I guess he could not. I knew for a fact that he would love it here. Jason has always been the kind of person to love learning new things and discover things that are different than what we see. I have always been close to him, he is my best friend.
I have walked around for so long and see so many species. Who would have known there was a planet where animals could walk and talk? This is amazing. I have always wondered what was out there and if there was life besides ours.
Aideen looked at the diary and then thought about what she had just read, there was so much she did not understand and wanted answers. Yet she would not get them, at least not yet. Sighing the girl got up and decided to walk or at least go and talk to the prince. As she walked outside the bedroom she was stopped by the guard she was assign too.
"You cannot leave the room, miss" the guard said. When she was assign to stay in her room and be guard, the human girl made sure that the guard did not call her a thing. She had also shown she was no thread and talked with the guard.
"It's alright. I won't be going outside, but if you wish you can follow me until you see that I don't leave" she said as she looked at the cat. He nodded his head and followed her. Aideen stopped and looked at the guard with a smile "um could you show me were Prince Lion-O is?"
The guard shook his head at the girl and showed her the way. As she got closer Aideen could hear some voices in side. She got closed to the door and listened to what was going on.
"Now is not the time to be tinkering with junk."
**with Lion-O**
"People think you crazy as it is" Tygra said as he got closer to his brother who was working on a disk. There was drawings on the wall and some on the floor.
"It's not junk its technology," Lion-O replied as he tried to open the disk and see how it works "I don't care what they think"
The tiger prince looked to the side and sow the drawings "maybe you should. People are talking about you parting those lizards. They say it another example of you not taking your position as heir to the crown seriously"
"We've been at war with the Lizards for generations. Maybe it's time to look at things differently" Lion-O replied as he tried to open the disk.
Tygra grabbed the Disk and said "that's your problem you look at Lizards and see victims, you look at junk and see mythical tech" lion-o stood up from his chair "When are you going to grow up"
Taking the disk the lion prince replied "When I do I hope am nothing like you."
Tygra growled in response and was about to replied when they heard the door open. Turning their heads they sow the human girl at the door arms crossed. They would always fight.
Aideen looked at the two princes then she looked at the guard who was waiting for her to walk in. She smiled at him "thank you" she said before closing the door and looking back at the boys.
She walked to the two and stood in front of them. Looking at the tiger prince she spoke, "why do you want to chance your brother?" she asked.
"I have nothing to say to you" the tiger prince said as they stared at one another. He looked to the side and answered her question "He is the heir to the throne he can't just think of technology all the time. He needs to take his duty seriously."
"Okay that is true but he can also believe in whatever he wants" she replied "and even so is a brother not supposed to support his brother?"
Tygra looked at her then turned and left. He knew that she was right yet he didn't want to admit and could not let the jealousy that he had for his brother go.
After Tigra left Aideen looked at Lion-O "you also have to think about what the people are thinking" she held up her hand when he was going to talk "No I am not saying that what you did was wrong actually… I think that you made a great choice" she finished while smiling at him.
He smiled back but then looked down "at least you think so. They think I'm a joke."
The girl walked next to her friend and but her hand on his shoulder "don't worry you will change their mind" grabbing the disk she stood right in front of him "and they will know that you are not just a child with a fantasy but a young man with knowledge. And soon to be great king, one that is looked up by his people."
***somewhere in Thundera***
In the outskirts of Thundera the morning sun started to pick out from the mountain. The sky was filled with some clouds and the sky was blue with red and yellow. The sun light was starting to announce the beginning of morning.
Two Thundercat's were in a watchtower one was asleep while the other was looking at the outskirts with a hand telescope.
"What is that?" the cat said as he looked in front of him. The other cat opened his eyes at the question the cat asked. Putting down the telescope his face was of shock.
The other cat closed his eyes and sniffed the air. He open his eyes in shock, showing that he was blind "even from this distance I can still smell them. Lizards and there are many" turning around he extended his hand and yelled "Sound the alarm!" soon the sound of the warning alarm.
As the alarm sounded soldiers grabbed weapons and prepare to protect Thundera. As the soldier's hand spears and grabbed bows and arrows the king looked from the balcony.
"Lizard attack come another day after I free two of does filthy beast" the king said as he growl. He turned toward his youngest son "now do you see the results of licensee"
"I was only trying to act like a prince" Lion-O said as he looked as his dad.
"You undermined our powers and made the cats look weak" he said as he turned. Aideen looked at the king what he said was harsh. This was his son not someone else and Lion-O had made a good decision not a bad one. He was wrong this was not just because of decision the prince made but from decision the previous kings had made.
"It's no wonder everyone thinks you're a blubber of a king" Claude replied harshly.
'No it's not Lion-O's fault' Aideen thought but stayed quiet. She did not want to anger the king.
"Grune, Tygra come with me. We need to prepare are defenses. Jaga prepare your clerics" the kings order as he walked away.
"And me" Lion-O asked as he looked at his father.
"You will remain here" he replied then left along with Tygra and Grune
"He's lost all faith in me Jaga" Lion-O said as he looked at Jaga. Aideen put a hand on Lion-O's shoulder.
"What is important is that you don't lose faith in yourself" Jaga replied.
Aideen looked at Jaga and thought about what the king had said. The lizards could not just come and attack without a reason. There's hate and she knew it. The hate though could not have been born so easily.
Looking at the prince she spoke "I don't think tha-"she said but was soon stopped as her vision blurred
She could see a person on top of a tall tower or what she assumed was a tower. As the two spoke one moved and stabbed the other. The body fell as two people screamed for the fallen person.
Aideen feel to the ground will grabbing her head. Whatever that was she knew that was not just vision from the past but rather a vision of something bad happening and she had the feeling it would happen soon. The voiced only confirmed it more; 'blood will be spilled' 'sadness will appear' 'and death will claim the life of one that has been blind' they says then fell silent.
"Aideen! Aideen! Are you alright" she heard but was in too much shock to understand who was talking to her. All she could think was that someone was going to die. And that was all she needed to know. She stood up and looked at the two cats that had a worried expression.
"Something bad is going to happen" she said then left without another word.
"Wait" Lion-O yelled as he was about to follow her a hand stopped him. He turned around and looked at Jaga who looked at the girl run.
"she knows what she is doing" he said. As both looked at the girl disappear into the halls.
~outside the city~
The lizard army marched with weapons in hands. All were in line formation and got closer to the walls of Thundera. The cat solder got into the wall all in form as the battle began. Balls of fire were thrown at the wall, trying to break it down. The cat soldiers threw arrows making a cloud of arrows surround the Lizards as they ran away.
In side of Thundera the cat solders guide all of the civilians to an open door underground. "To the underground tunnels, quickly" a soldier said as he guild the villagers will hold a torch for light.
"Come one kit let get out of here" said wilykat as he took his sister away from the safety of the underground tunnels. Balls of fire were thrown at him the people as they enter underground. Both kids stood in shock at what had happen then left.
Aideen ran as fast as she could after what she had seen it was blur but she knew that the king was in danger. The king and cats may not like her but she could not let innocent people die. She could not stand to let both brothers suffer. Yet there was a strange feeling that made her move. It was the feeling of someone suffering, someone that she felt connected to. Yet she did not know if the feeling was toward the friendship that she had with lion-O or the strange relationship she had with the tiger prince.
As she ran she soon came across the prince who was now arm and ready for war. Aideen ran towards him. As she stood in front of him she wanted to speak but could not because she was out of breath.
"What are you doing here" the tiger prince said as he looked at the human girl who was trying to catch her breath.
"I… needed… to…. warn….. you" she said in between breaths.
"Warn me?"
"yes…." She replied as she took a deep breath then straightens "I don't know what is going on but your father is in danger"
The tiger looked at the human girl in shock "What are you talking about."
"I don't know but something bad is going to happen, please believe me" she said as she looked at him with pleading eyes.
He looked at her and was about to replied until they called him to get ready. "I need to go" he said then walked away. But not before hearing her whisper "please be careful." Turning around he saw her run away toward the city.
The king walked toward the sword of omen. He grabbed it and then grabbed a petal claw. As he grabbed the sword he made the length short then clicked it to the metal claw.
"Thundera once again turns to you noble warriors to defend her. Tonight as we go into battle I only ask that you fight like cats. For out ancestor for the pride" Claudus said as the soldiers cheer and ran into battle. The doors of the wall open and soon they ride to battle.
Fireballs were thrown making dents in the walls and towards.
"Fire" exclaimed the king as the archer released the arrows shooting some lizards.
Aideen ran outside the castle. There was a war going on and she wanted to make sure that at least the people had gotten to shelter or to see how she could help. She knew she was not meant to be outside but at this point she didn't care.
As she went around the corner she could hear the sound of something hard hitting the floor. She got closer toward the noise making sure not to make noise and blend in with the shadows. Peeking through the side of a column she saw the crystals falling from the black rock. She stood wide eyes as she sow more fall as lizards came out from within.
'oh no' she thought as she pressed her back to the tall column.
"It was getting a bit ranked in there, general Slithe" said a lizard as he looked toward the general. The general was dress different than the other lizards.
"A night in that rock is nothing compare to what I have waited to set foot inside the cats impenetrable castle," he said as he left with the lizard following him.
Aideen followed them as she soon realized something "wait… a night. Then that means!... Grune" she whispered as she realized the truth.
She looked at the lizards as one of them open the door freeing the other prisoners. Then some of the lizard's put some black objects on the wall pillar.
"what are does things" she said as she looked closely.
"This time you'll finally fall Claudus" the general said a she but the black object on the stone figure of the king. The green light started to blink as the object attached itself to the stone.
More lizards ran towards the cats with swords in hands.
The king stood in front of the archers "for the pride" the king said as more arrows were shot in the air. Attacking the lizards
"Perfect lets test this cowards ones and for all" he said but was soon stopped as a loud sound was heard. Making the cats look around and the animals unsteady. As the king looked around object came flying above them then went straight toward the city. Everything was silent as everyone looked towards the city.
Aideen looked around as she also had heard aloud sound coming from the air. As the human girl looked to the sky she saw the object coming towards where she was hiding. "Oh no that can't be" she said as she ran but then she heard the sound of beeping.
Staring wide eyed she soon realize what they were "rocket targets" she said before the rocket hit the target and exploded. Sending the human girl to the ground from the explosion and knocking her unconscious.
The king stared wide eyes as the castle was set on fire. The sound of heavy foot step was heard as the cats turned and looked towards the forest.
Where metal machines came marching toward the battle.
"Why Thundera what sorcery is this" the king exclaimed as he sow the machines shoot rockets. The rockets exploded destroying the city.
Lion-O and snarf could see the destruction from the balcony. Everything was on fire and more rockets were shot. The stone cat's pillars were destroyed and the only thing that Lion-O could do was stare in horror as Thundera started to fall.
Lion-O kneed down and locked through a hand telescope. He could see the distraction, "I can't believe it snarf. Technology was my dream. How did it become my nightmare?" he said as he looked closely.
"Ah!" he exclaimed as he saw a lizard with the same disk as his. The lizard move a finger threw the screen and making it turn on. They then moved away as the disk exploded.
Lion-O was wide eye as he looked at the scene. He hoped that his friend was alright and that she did not get caught in the middle of the destruction.
"Aideen run!" the human girl heard as she opened her eyes. Everything was a blurred. She could see fire everywhere and buildings destroyed.
She could hear screaming of people and when she closed her eyes, she could verily see them. I was not like the vision she had earlier but rather as if it was a memory. One that she had long ago forgotten. She opened her eyes and saw no one.
Aideen stood up and grabbed her head. Her vision was still blurry from the explosion. She closed her eyes and could see people running. yet she could not see their faces. "Aideen you must go" she heard again. That voice was so familiar.
A dark figure came to her and grabbed her. She tried to look at his face but could not. "Irene, take them and leave. It's not safe here" the voice said. She could see her mother standing next to her.
"I can't leave you!" Irene said as she grabbed the figure. She was in the verge of tears. Aideen looked at her mother. She did not understand what was going on.
"You must protect them. I do not wish to leave you either but I cannot lose you or them." The voice replied. Then her mother said something but Aideen could not hear.
Aideen shook her head. She did not know what that was and she did not have time to think about it either. Yet the scene seemed so real.
"I must find Lion-O" she said as she left to find the princes.
Lion-O enter a small room that had all the object he had bought with Jeroma. He grabbed the disk and moved his finger over the screen making it turned on. The disked biped then he moved his finger over it making the disk turn off. "All does years of having to listen to people telling me I was I was crazy for believing on this. Well snarf it about to pay off" he said.
"rawr" Snarf said as listen to Lion-O then moved to the side as the prince ran out of the room a bag on his side.
'Aideen, please be alright' he thought as he kept on running.
The lizard army marched towards the city guns at hand. The cats backed away some falling down as they ran back to the castle. "Hurry back to the walls. Back to the walls" the king said as he stayed in his horse.
The cats ran to the doors but soon stopped and gasped as they saw the lizard army inside and blocking the way.
"how quickly things change for the cats" Slith said his hand on his hip as he stood with his army at the door to Thundera. "From top predator to endanger species, in a single day" he put up his hand and press the button on the control. Making the bridge explode.
Lion-O looked to the side as he mounted his 'horse'.
The bridge was destroyed and the explosion send the cats back on the ground "will nothing stop them" the king said as he got up.
"I believe there is one thing my lord" Grun said as the king turned to him. The sabertooth put his hand up and fire at the sky. Metal machine made their way toward the prince and king, surrounding them.
"Grune what is going on?!" the king exclaimed as he and Tygra stare at him.
The lizards stood behind the sabetooth as he took his armor and replaced it with a golden one. Both prince and king stared in shock at the betrayal "you send me out to find the book of omens Claudus. Instead I found this" the hammered open it three layers making lightning come out "ultimate powered" he shoot a lion statue shattering it to pieces.
"You would betray your own species?!" Claudus exclaimed.
"My align to you has brought me nothing. Therefore I have align myself with a superior forces. And I will take what I want" he finished as he looked at the sword.
"Never" the king said as he took out the sword and made it grow its length. He stood ready to fight.
"There no need to resort to violence. I'm quite willing to make a deal for the sword"
"There nothing you have that I want"
Grune looked at the lizard general and moved his hand. Slith turned round "bring forth the prisoner" he order. A war machine came closed a person hand were chains from its cannon. The lizards shined the light revealing a general who was meant to be dead.
"Panthro" the king yelled as he saw his friend tried to the machine. The panther stood wide eye as though he was in shock.
"Your life" said Grune.
The king turned and growl. He got ready to fight, "I didn't think you'll go for it" Grune said as he grabbed his weapon "I guess I will just have to take the sword from you."
The king stood straight sword at hand "You're forgetting one thing, Grune. Jagas cleric's" he said as he smiled making the saber wide eye.
Grun turned around and saw a cloud of smoke coming their way. The lizards stood still as one of them came closed to Grune, moving out of the way as he swung his weapon. Grune fire at the cleric but missed as the cleric moved and hit him on the shoulder with his staff. Making him drop the weapon.
The lizards fire at them but were no match for their speed. As the cleric dodge and hit the lizards. The machine that held Panthro left.
"I'm going after Panthro" the king said as he ran toward the machine only to be stopped by Tigra.
"You can't leave the protection of the cleric" Tygra said as he tried to stop his father.
"And I can't leave my friend with does monsters" her replied as he moved his hand away and jumped down the broken bridge.
Tygra watched his father go then he remembered what the human had told him "your father is in danger." He was about to run towards him when he heard the sound of the machine firing making him turn around.
The robot fire at Jaga who ran to avoid being hit. He jumped in the air and he pointed his staff to the robot destroying it as lightning came out. Seeing the cleric's had everything under control so far he left to follow his father.
"Tygra!" the prince heard his name being called and turned towards the broken doors. There he saw the human girl whose clothes were ripped. Her face had blood trickling down her side. She stood by the door using them for support. "Are you alright?" she asked as she came closer.
Tygra stood in shock "I should be asking you that. What happen to you?!" he exclaimed as he looked at her. He felt worried for the human but did not know why.
Aideen shrugged it off "I got caught in the explosion when a rocket hit its target" shaking her head she looked at Tygra "there's no time for this where's your father?" she asked.
The prince looked ahead "He went after Panthro" he replied "all follow him. You find somewhere safe to hide."
"No way. I'm coming with you" she said as she started to walk.
"Your hurt!"
"I'm fine besides since when do you care what I do?"
He thought about what she said and knew that he was starting to care about her. Shaking his head he ran towards his dad "Fine then let's go."
Aideen nodded and followed him. Soon they had caught up with Claudius who only gave the girl a starred, as he the state she was in. His mind was on his friend, at the moment he didn't care about anything else. They soon were at the entrance to the stadium, in which the games were held.
"Your rule had come to a long overdue end, Claudus" said Grune as he stood up on a branch Panthro was above his tied up "now drop your inferior weapons."
Aideen looked at Panthro 'there's something odd about him' she thought as she stared at him. The human girl could feel something dark but what really made her was there were the voices who were warning her about something bad happening.
"How can you defeat technology if you can't even understand it" he said as both king and price and the human girl were surrounded by lizards.
"Locally I know a thing or two about it you traitor!" exclaimed a voice as a bomb was thrown at the machines. As the machines exploded smoke surrounded them unavailing them from seeing who it was that saved them. As the smoke cleared they looked up to see Lion-O. Aideen smiled at him as his father stood in shock. Claudus walked towards lion and bowed then turned and began to walk away.
"Where are you going" he asked as he looked at his dad.
"To show the lizards that the sword of omen is the greatest weapon of them all" he said as he made the sword extend to its full length, "thundercats ho!"
The sword was cover in lightning. As the king made his way he slashed the lizards as if they were nothing. Claudus made his way up the branches of the tree towards Grune, who shot lighting out of his weapon but was unaffected as the king protected himself with the sword and slashed the sword at him, making Grune fall down.
The king races to the top and unchanged Panthro making him fall. Aideen made her way to the water when she stopped as both princes jumped in.
Lion-O looked back "Aideen, come on" he said as they both looked at the girl.
She looked at the water and shook her head "no you guys go and help your father. Trust me" she said a she took a step back. The princes looked at her then swam away. 'oh come on Aideen you can't become scared now!' she thought to herself then looked up at the king. There was something odd about Panthro she could feel it.
"You came for me" Panthro said as he looked at the Lion king.
"I'd fight an army twice that size to save you old friend," Claudus said as he stood up helping Panthro. At that time both Lion-O and Tigra began to make their way up the tree while Aideen waited at the other side of the water. "Now help me" he said as he stood up.
At that moment Aideen sow the panther's eyes became white. She remembered her vision as a figure rose and strikes the other. She knew what was about to happen but she did not know what to do. She looked as the figure took out a knife, she wanted to do something anything in order not to bring sadness to her friend. As he rouse the knife the human girl stared wide eyed as and image flash before her eyes.
"Nooo!" she screamed as a black figure got stabbed. She sow it all happen fast, her eyes were full of tears.
The figure grabbed his sword and fought the other. Soon the one who had stabbed it was dead. The black figure took the knife out and grabbed his side. He looked back at Aideen and bent down "you must live for me. I will miss you but I rather not see you and know that you are alive than for you to stay here and die right before my eyes" he said.
Aideen stared at him as someone pulled her way. She saw a tear roll down his eye as he turn, while holding his side, and began to battle.
Aideen stared wide eyed as the knife started to come down ready to kill the king. The image she had just seen frighten her.
"NO!" "father" Aideen and Lion-O screamed.
She pushed her hand in towards the panther making water rise towards them. She had forgotten her fear as the fear of seeing someone died to over. She was able to push the water in time to stop the attack from happening.
Just as Panthro was about to strike a pushed of water had stopped his move, pushing him away from the king but not before he had at least injured him. When the water cleared Panthro stared at Aideen with hate in his eyes. He may not have killed the king but he knew that the king would not survive from the wound he had at least given him. The king fell down into the water, as both prince jumped to get to their father.
"Lion-O!" Aideen yelled as she went to the side of the pool. She looked at the water waiting for them to came out. Her eyes moved to see Panthro standing on top of the tree looking at her with interest in his eyes. 'Theres something not right about this' she thought. She looked back at the water as she saw the two prince with their father. She breathed in relief but soon gasped as she saw blood.
Both prince looked at their father they knew they needed to get him medical help as soon as possible. He was bleeding and unconscious.
"you're a traitor too panthro!" said Lion-O as he looked at Pantho.
"Not quite. Have you not consider that if technology is real so are other things of your worst nightmare" he said while his voice change. Aideen looked in horror as she remembered the voice from her dreams. Blue flames surrounded his body covering all of it. Soon a mummy's face appeared.
"Mummra" Lion-O said as he and Tigra looked at the mummy.
"The day I have always feared has arrived" Jaga said then pointed his staff forward "cleric to the death" the clerics began to attack.
Mummra turned to them "You are but insects to the power of Mummra" he said as he extended his arms red thunder came flowing and threw the clerics as though it was nothing. One of the cleric grabbed Jaga before the attack could get him.
Both prince stood by their fathers unconscious body as they were surrounded by Lizards. Aideen looked around her as lizards pointed their guns at her. She stood still and looked back at the prince.
Everything was destroyed or on fire. For the first time someone had finally defeated the thundercats. This only sent warning to does that knew what this meant.
"Thundera has finally fallen" he said as lizards cheered.
Aideen stood in front of Mummra, things were not looking good. She had hoped to find a way to get away but the lizards had grabbed her. They had not take her to a cell for the mummy had told them to take her along with the king. She now stood in front of him, the king was behind her being held by lizards. Aideen turned and looked at the king he was now away and had seen what his kingdom looked like. The human girl knew he was not going to hold longer as he had been bleeding a lot yet he stood straight and strong in front of the horrible monster that had destroyed his kingdom.
"Now then human" Mummra said as Aideen turned to look at him. He sat on the throne both arms were resting on the chair arm. "I will give you two options" he held out his hand "join us and do whatever I say or" he pointed at the king "join them in their deaths"
Aideen looked back at the king who looked back at her. She turned as looked at Mummra "I will never join you."
The mummy looked at her with anger in his eyes. He had hoped to make the girl do want he wanted willingly. "You are just like your parents" he hissed. "your father also tried to define me but he did not succeeded"
Aideen stood wide eye a he mention her father. She knew nothing of him yet this mummy knew exactly who he was. "How do you know my father?" she asked as she looked at him.
This made him laugh "oh i know everything about your family." He looked at her "Since you won't join me on your own free will" he put his hand up as the bandages unraped from his arm and wrapped themselves around Aideen "i will have to get what i want on my own" just then a black clouds of thunder made its way towards Aideen.
"we've lost our kingdom, the sword, and our father is dying" Tygra said as he and Lion-O were in a prison cell. Lion-O looked outside, sadness in his eyes as he stared at the ruined city. "we've lost everything. Who knows what they want with Aideen."
"This is all my fault Tigra" Lion-O began as he looked outside "i didn't know what it meant at the time but… i did see a vision threw the sword" he turned "Mummra"
Tygra sat up "and you told no one" he stood and came closed to his brother "this is why weren't fit to be king. your decisions always bring disaster" he said.
"Supper time" a lizard said as he came and left them food "i brought you a very special meal."
"Hey remember me. I granted you mercy a chance at peace between our species. and this is how you repay me you can't even look at me now" Lion yelled as the lizard started to walk away his head down.
"eat your supper" the lizard said. Lion-O looked down at the food then saw something shining from within.
"What is it" the tiger prince said as he came closer to Lion-O.
The prince but his hand on his food "sometimes my decisions bring disasters. Sometimes they bring a key" he said as he pulled out a key. They both turned their head when they heard a scream they wish they had not heard.
"Aideen"
The human girl was surrounded in black thunder clouds screaming at the pain that she felt. The clouds were not to harm her but rather do something else. The black witch did not wish to make an appearance but made sure to have given Mummra a spell that could help him achieve what he needed. Things, though, did not go as planned for the girl was in more pain as her body rejected the darkness that wanted to cover her soul. They had forgotten something very important. She was pure and had no hatred in her.
"My lord" the lizard general hissed a he stood next to the mummy.
Mummra let the flow of power stop as he left the girl fall on the floor. Things were going great until he stumble onto this problem. They would have to take her and make sure the witch had something that could help them. He turned to the lizard "What do you want" he said.
"This two are what remain of the fable guardians of the crown" he said as he looked at the two last clerics.
"Jaga!" Claudus said as he saw his friend being pushed down by a lizard. He grown at them but could do nothing. He was weak and was about to lose conscious. He looked back at the human girl and saw her almost lose conscious as well.
Aideen forced her eyes open, she was not going to give up. She could still feel the rush of darkness that tried to made it way into her. It was something she wish she had never experienced.
"You are jaga. Sorcerer to the dying king" Mummra said.
"and you are ever more crotest that the stories suggested" Jaga replied.
"did your stories neglect to tell you that the stone in that sword is mine" he touched the sword only for it to reject him as thunder came out of the stone. He took his hand of then looked back at the jaguared "I want it back" he said
"I'm afraid an ancient spell prevent the sword to be touch by the hands of evil" jaga said.
"That is why you are going to remove the spell" Mummra said as he smiled.
"Never!"
"Then i will just have to find another way" Mummra unravel his bandage again and wrapped them around the jaguared. As Jaga was in the air Mummra let attack him with thunder.
"Jaga!" Aideen and Claudus screamed. Claudus tried to stand but fell as his strength was leaving him. He looked at the mummy with hate.
Aideen looked to the side and sow a Lizard fall down a arm on his mouth. She smiled as she sow the Tiger Prince. She looked at the king and moved her head a little making sure that he was the only one to noticed. He looked to the side and saw his sons on the side of the balcony.
The human girl moved her hand ignoring the pain she was feeling. She moved her eyes and looked around, once she was sure that no one was seeing her she put her hand on her boot and took her knife out, then hidden it in between the floor and her stomach. Soon the bandage were cut by to shoots. Jaga fell down to the floor.
"I could get use to this" Tygra said as he looked at the gun he held. Tygra dodged as general Sliths shots.
Aideen took a deep breath as she got up quick and ran towards the Lizard that held the King. She bent down and punched one of the lizards then kicked the other. She bent down and started to cut the ropes that had the king tied. The king fell and she grabbed the king by the shoulder. Pain shot right through her body, making her grind her teeth. She looked to the side and saw Lion-O ran for the sword.
"I won't let you take the sword" he said as he grabbed the sword "Thunder" he swung the sword making it move "Thunder" he swung it again "Thunder. Thundercats Ho!" he said as he held the sword up with both hands thunder booming out. He brought the sword down making a bim light shot out of the stone and push Mummra threw a stone wall.
Mummra was shot to the court yard leaving a trail of dirt. He stood up "you cannot comprehend the forces you are dealing with" he began as he started to move his hands around. "Ancient forces of evil transform this decain for into Mummra the ever la-" he shouted as the sunlight began to shine making him fall down and smoke to come out.
Aideen looked at the tiger prince "Tygra" She shouted making him turn. She pointed to the cleric that was chained to the poll "shot the chains."
The tiger princes turned and shot the chains. Both guard lizards turned and began to shot as the cleric shot up. She kicked both lizards then stood up.
"Cheetara" Tygra said as both prince looked at the female cat.
"She's a cleric?" said Lion-O.
Aideen looked between the prince then signed "I really hope this two don't get into a fight because of a female" she said. She looked at the king as he chuckled at what she said. He had also seen the look the two were given the cleric. Before anyone could say anything the lizards started to shoot them.
"lets go" said cheetara as they started to ran for cover. She ran to the top of the throne room and grabbed the claw. They ran towards jaga.
He polled a torch making a secret door open "quickly through here, " Jaga said as snarf went through the open door. Aideen looked at the king as he stood stopped walking.
"King Claudus" Aideen said making all of them looked at the king.
"Father" Lion-O said.
The king looked at his sons "You must go on. I will not make it" he said as he grabbed a gun that was in the floor.
"No were not leaving you" Lion-O said as me began to walk toward his father.
Claudus but a hand on both his sons shoulder "No matter what you both have made me proud."
Crun grabbed Mummra and lead him into the room. They saw the cats and human runing away "after them" Mummra said.
Aideen turned as she saw Lizards running toward them. Claudus turned to them and pushes them toward the door "I want to at least die will saying my family. You only have each other stay together and live" he began to walk away as both boys stared at there father neither wanting to live him but they knew that he was not going to make it, no matter how much they wish to help him. As he past the human girl, he stopped and looked at her "stay with them. I know i may have judged you wrong but they will need your help. Lion-O more than Tygra."
Aideen looked at the king then nodded " I will not leave them."
The human girl turned and pushed Tygra and Lion-O towards the secret passage. The rest flowing behind them. Just as the door closer Jaga was shot in the back making him fall. Aideen ran and grabbed him. Both boys ran to the door and tried to open it but to novain.
"we must go back" Lion-O said.
"No it was your father's last wish and you must respect it" Jaga said as Aideen helped him stand up.
"Take down the door" a lizards said as they started to shoot the wall.
The cats and human made their way through the secret passage. Snard went ahead will Jaga was being helped by both Cheetara and Tygra. Aideen and Lion-O were behind them. Lion-O was sad but knew that he had to leave for his father's sake.
"Before we go any further. There is something that must be done" Jaga said as he stood at the foot of the stairs.
"It can wait" said Cheetara as they looked at Jaga.
"No it must be done now!" he said as he stood straight. He looked at them as they surrounded around Jaga. Aideen looked at the old cat 'this cannot happen!... Two lives cannot be lost. Why' she thought as she realize the intentions of the old cat.
Outside the lizards kept shooting making a dent. "Were almost through" a lizard informed.
Jaga looked at Lion-O he bowed "your left arm" he said. Lion-O extended his left arm and jaga slip the metal claw on. He kneeled down and touch the claw with his hand, the rest following with the exception of Aideen"For the eye of thundera and the eye of othen" he then touch the claw with his staff making it glow gold "now Lion-O lord of the thundercats, Go"
Cheetara stood "You're going with us, Jaga"
"I will only slow you down this way i can buy you more time to find safety" he stood up and grabbed lion "the book of omen lies on the foot of the setting sun. You must find it before Mummra does." He looked at Aideen "you must looked through your mother's book as it seemed she has located the book when she had come here.
"I cant do this alone" Lion-O said. Aideen stood next to him and put a hand on his shoulder.
"you won't have to. You have everything you need, Lion-O. Whatever questions remains the book will answer them. Find it " he pushed him "now go." He turned to Aideen and looked at her "I know you are confused more than you were but the answers will come to you soon."
"But how? The more I stay here the more it make me think if i had even know my mother" she said as she looke with despair on her eyes "why does Mummra know my father? What happen to him? What does he want from me!?"
He put a hand on her shoulder "I do not know but you must never give up and take the easy way. There may be sadness up a head but you must never let darkness in to your heart. Your questions will soon be answer."
"Out of my way" said Grune as he smashed his hammer to the wall shattering it. Lizards started to come in and headed toward the cats and human.
Jaga extended his hand "Go" he said making them run. The lizards started to shot as Jaga attacked with thunder. Lion-O and Aideen turned around and looked as Jaga was blast just before the door closed. She closed her eyes as she ran a single tear fell down.
They all stood up on a mountain hill and looked at the destroying kingdom.
"this is only the beginning"
Aideen bowed her head and looked away. She was not from this world but she made a promise to stay with the princes. There were many things she did not know about her mother and her father. But most important of all she did not know anything about who she was.
Xander stood up on a hill as he saw the land ahead of him. The only way he was going to get to Tigris was to find Tatiana. He needed to find Tigris. Just as he was about to leave his communicated sounded. He opened it seeing the face of Kalis face came to view "what is it Kali? I thought you weren't going to call me?"
"Xander. Thundera has fallen" She said making the boy stared in shock "Aideen is fine… for now. But we must get ready for what is about to happen."
The black witch stared at the water. She turned around in anger "I should have know this lizards were worthless" she said. She had seen everything that had happen and was not happy.
Her snake hissed in agreement. She stroke his head "don't worry my dear. I will have the stone." She turned around and looked at Lion-O though "and he will help me with it."
The snake hissed again in question. "No not willingly but love is also a curse" she said as she smiled evilly will looking at the lion prince.
