Ramlak Rising

Aideen turned as she heard the sound of a flute being played. Closing her eyes and tried to hear the calm music that was playing. The human girl had always loved music it was a way that she could relieve all the stress, sadness or, in rare occasions, the anger she had. It had just been a couple of days since she had come here. She had in mind going home, back to her brothers and forgetting that she was ever here but now she was confused of what to do. The promise that she made was one that she was willing to keep but how long would Lion-O need her? Would she stay until Mummra was defeated, then go home? Then again there were still so much answers she needed to find about her heritage. She wanted to know who her father was and why was he here along with her mother. Were there other humans as well? and if there were why hasn't anyone seen them? Aideen sigh for now she knew she would get no answers and she could not worry about that. She winced as she tried to get up from the pillar she was leaning against. She was in pain from what had happen, after all she had survived an explosion to later being almost electrocuted. She was human and the pain she had gone through was more than enough to make her unable to stand. But right now she didn't care, the prince's were in more pain than her aching body was on.

She stood and looked as the fire flicked lighting the destroyed statute. The prince's along with cheetara stood in front of the fire and looked at it with sorrow in there eyes. Aideen stood behind, she was barely able to stay standing for a while and decided to leave them to themselves. Cheetara threw a powder that lighted the fire and made it blue as Lion-O heated his sword. He then moved and made the thundercats mark on the broken statue of his father.

"Rest now to rise again, father" the lion prince said as he looked at the statue.

"May your next life show you peace" said Tygra as they all stayed quiet for a while.

Aideen turned, looked at the sky then closed her eyes once more. Deep in her heart she knew the feeling the two prince's were going through yet at the same time she did not. She leaned the back of her head to the pillar "I wish you were here, Isa. You were always good at times like this" she mutter as the thought of her cousin and close friend came to mind.

~somewhere in third earth~

"Agh! Why do i even have to deal with this! Your lizards should have done a better work" the black witch complain as she came in to the main room, she had just about enough of this. The lizards should have been able to capture a single human girl who did not know how to control her powers. She stood behind the mummy as both Grune and Slith stood to the side watching the human witch. "Those lizards are nothing but worthless."

"I would watch your tongue if i were you" said general Slith as he stood by the side. "My lizards are not worthless. I would say you're the worthless here considering you never even showed up."

Alchys turned "How dare you!" she yelled as her snake hissed. She was now angry no one dare to call her worthless especially a lizard.

"Your sspell didn't even work"Slith said not even flinching as the witches eyes started to turn dark from anger.

"enough!" shouted Mumm-Ra. He turned and looked at both of them then turned to Alchy, "what happen with the spell, witch."

The black witch turned and thought about her spell "it should have worked. I have used it many times and it had never fail me" she turned and looked at Mumm-Ra "there should be hatred in the girls heart. After everything she has gone threw."

"Hmmm" Mumm-Ra turned and looked in thought then turned to look back at the witch "she did not even remember her father. I could feel magic in her other than her own."

Alchys frowned, this was not right. The human girl should have been able to remember her family especially her father and the fact that there was other magic than her own was troublesome. "Magic" she said in thought then it struck her "Of course" she walked to the water and stood next to the mummy. She twirled her hand and mumbled a spell. The water twirl then stayed still with the image of Aideen. "Oh Irene to think you would put a spell on your own daughter" the witch smiled as she saw the headband of the girl glow. "No this was not your doing." She turned to Mummra "seems that he made sure she forgot everything. I would not be surprised if Irene also but a spell on her to forget what happen that day." She turned back and looked at the headband "from the look of the magic and what you've said there is no doubt the headband has a forgotten spell. There will be no way to take it away. After all, he's not stupid enough to leave his daughter unprotected. Somewhere she has an object with a protecting spell cast on it."

"I hope you have a way to fix this or else" Mumm-Ra threaten.

Alchys snared "Of course i do. The magic will soon wear off as she travels. Her mother was known in third earth" she said as she began to walk away "She will have more questions about her mother and soon she will remember them all."

Mumm-Ra looked at the witch "and if she doesn't?"

The witch turned and smirked "Then will use Lion-O."

Grune looked at the human with a questionable expression "and how would we use the prince?" he asked.

She turned and here smirk widen, she pet her snake then answer "well they do say love can be destruction. It can also bring jealousy and hate to one if it is manipulated the right way" she answered.

"How can you be sure she will fall for the prince?"

Alchy laughed as she started to walk away "Oh trust me she will" she said as she left the room leaving Mummra satisfied.

~~ Somewhere in the city~~

As the invasion had finished lizards came and took whatever they could or was worth something. They left and stocked a car with jewels then left back inside.

The two kittens ran towards the trunk of the car hoping to find something. "let see what we have here" Wilykat said as he and his sister jumped in the trunk and open a brown suitcase.

"Ooh, new clothes" Wilykit said excitedly as she looked inside the suitcase fill with clothes. They laughed as Kat grabbed the suitcase then both left.

~~with the princes~~

"We should move out while the lizards' trail is still fresh" said Lion-O as he looked at the extinguished fire "Mumm-Ra's layer is probably past the sand sea, so we have quite a journey ahead of use."

Aideen frowned as she heard what lion-O said. She looked at him and sow something she had not seen on him; hate. 'oh no this is not good' she thought as she made her way towards the thundercats but stopped a few feet away.

"Mumm-Ra?" questioned cheetara as she looked at the lion prince "Jaga told us to first seek the book of Omens. Those were my teachers last words to us."

"The book can wait, it has for centuries" Lion-O replied.

"But only the book can provide us with answers, Lion-O" Tygra said as he looked at his brother.

"Answers? I already know who destroyed our city, who killed our king. What other answers do you need?" he replied angrily. "If it was either one of us on that funeral pyre, father would have already buried that demon. I intend to do him the same justice."

Cheetara looked at Lion-O, "Your angry, Lion-O."

"I should hope I'm not the only one," Lion-O yelled, "we're going after Mumm-Ra, and thats a command." The prince turned and began to walk away.

"You are the king," replied Tygra as he followed Lion-O.

Aideen stared at Lion-O as he stopped in front of her. She looked into his eyes and sow hate but there was sadness deep within them. "Lion-O please think about what you are doing," she said calmly as she tried to change the princes mind.

"No Aideen. I have made up my mind, are you coming with me or are you staying" he said as he looked at her.

Aiden took a step back and looked at the prince with wide eye "You would leave me?" she asked with hurt on her voice. She didn't think he would leave her but still she was not sure he wouldn't.

Lion-O looked to the side as his expression started to soften then shook his head and looked at her. "Are you coming with me or not?" he asked again.

"I know how you feel Lion-O but you-" she started as she began to reach for him.

"No you don't!" he yelled making Aideen bring her hand back to her side and look at him in shock, "You know nothing of how i feel! Stop saying that!"

"Lion-O!" yelled Tygra as he got in front of Aideen and looked at his brother "Theres no need for you to yell at her." Aideen stared wide eyed at the prince then looked down with sadness. 'There all the same' she thought as she remembers her once best friend.

Lion-O ignored his brother then looked at the human girl "Are you coming or not."

Aideen closed her eyes then stared at Lion-O with a blank expression "I promise your father to stay with you and I plan on keeping my promise. I just need to get my mother things. If you allow me, of course" she said.

"fine go ahead" he said as he watched her turn and left. He then began to walk away to prepare for the long trip.

Aideen walked into the room that she had just been using hours ago. The human girl had an expression of sadness in her eyes. She never had thought that Lion-O would talk to her like that but she could not blame him either. He was in pain. She sighed and looked around the destroyed room. She began to look around but soon found it in vain as she was not even paying attention to what she was doing or where she was looking. Closing her eyes the human girl took a deep breath then let it out, she had to get searching. Shaking her head she open her eyes and began to look around until she felt a tap on her shoulder, making her yelped and threw a punch at whoever was behind her.

"Hey!" the person shouted.

Aideen looked and sow the tiger princes in front of her "Tygra!" she yelled then put a hand on her racing heart "Don't do that! You scared me."

"Hey I should be the one complaining you almost punched me," he exclaimed as he held his hands up. "And here i was coming to see if you were alright and needed help," he crossed his arms as he stared at her.

Aideen took a deep breath then exhaled "Sorry, just don't sneak behind me. My brothers have taught me never to let my guard down," she looked at him "Thanks. I'm fine, don't worry." She turned and looked around, she needed to find her books. The walls were destroyed letting light in, yet not making it better with all the mess and destruction. The bed was destroyed along with every other object made of wood. There were something missing, making the girl search faster. She looked everywhere but could not find her books. They were the only thing left of her mother, she could not lose them.

"I found them" Tygra said making the human girl turn. Aideen began to walk towards Tygra when pain shot through her legs making her fall. "Aideen!" The tiger princes said as he walked towards her "You should not force yourself, you're just recovering." He grabbed her arm and helped her up, then sat her down on the bed. He looked into her eyes and sow sadness and hurt. Sighing he turned and put a hand on her shoulder making her look at him, "Look Lion-O didn't mean it. He's just angry."

Aideen looked to the side "I know that and i don't blame him." She got up and looked at her books "He's right though i don't know how he feel. I shouldn't even have said that" looking down she mumbled "i always make people mad with what i say." She looked at him "But I promise you father i would stay with you no matter what. I plan on doing just that." Aideen then looked to the side "beside…. I care about Lion-O and um… you know….. ikindofcareaboutyoutooeventhoughyou'reveryirritatingandannoying" she mutter quickly as she began to open the second book.

Tygra looked at her in surprise then stood up "I'm sorry what was that?" he teased as he stood in front of her.

Aideen didn't want to say it again especially when she was saying it to the tiger prince. As she had stayed here she had started to care for the annoying prince, at least a little bit. It was odd to her, though as she had some trouble trusting people. She didn't even trust Lion-O the first time she meet him yet she was starting to truest Tygra more. He was the last person she would have thought to truest. Mostly sence he would always find away to irritate, annoy, or bother her. There were still somethings blocking her from fully trusting him. It was probably her fear of being betrayed again or the fact that he really knows how to get her mad. Still it made her curious as to why she felt she could trust him.

Aideen looked down on her book, as a way to not answer his question, then frowned. "What is this" she said as she looked through her book. The pages were filled with letters but not earth letter or any of it language. The word were different and she didn't understand them. She looked at the pages and there was not a single word she understood.

Tygra looked over her shoulder then turned to her, "are you sure you didn't steal this books?" he asked as he took the book from her.

Aideen shook her head, "No ofcourse not" she flip to the beginning of the book "See. Thats my mothers name," she pointed the name that was written in the book.

"Then why is the book written in ancient thunderian writing?" he asked

Aideen turned and gave him a questioned look "Thunderian writing?!" she exclaimed. Looking back at the book, she closed her eyes, "Why would mother have a book that belongs here." She open her eyes and began to walk around the room, new questions popping as she thought about the books writing. She stopped and sigh "I feel like I don't even know my own mother" she admitted.

Tygra put a hand on the human girls shoulder, making her turn to look at him. "I don't know why your mother has this book but i have a feeling you will learn more about her soon. Don't worry about it. As for the book" he held the book to her "I can teach you how to read Thunderian. If you want."

Aideen smiled brightly "Yes i would really like that. Thank you" she then frowned "Why are you being so nice?" she asked.

"Can't you just be happy that I'm helping you" he smirked "Or would you rather I don't help you?" he crossed his arms "besides, i don't even think you would be able to learn it yourself. You should be honored that I'm helping you."

"You know, I was just thinking that you were nice but now I think you're being a jerk" she replied.

Tygra laughed then began to walked to the door "come on lets go." Aideen looked behind her than followed the tiger prince. Perhaps she really could trust him?

They walked through the gates of Thunderia cover in cloak. Aideen had come back with Tygra but had not talk to Lion-O. She had forgiven him for the way he had talked to her but both did not wanted to talk at the moment. Lion-O was still angry and did not wanted to talk to her, as for Aideen well….. she was still hurt and wanted to give him space. Now she stood next to Tygra as they all walked out of the city. Everything had been destroyed. Now the city remain empty but stood as to show the victory the Lizards had won from the cats.

Aideen looked ahead and sow Lion-O stop and looked back, his face full of anger. As she looked at him he turned around, their eyes meet one another. He then turned and began to walk again. The human girl sigh then looked back as well, she frowned as she felt something in the air but was not sure. Turning fully towards the city she looked ahead trying to know what the feeling was. Moving without realising, the human girl was about to take a set towards the city but a hand stopped her. Shaking her head she looked back and saw the tiger prince.

"What are you doing?" he asked with a questionable expression. Looking behind him she saw the other waiting for her.

Aideen looked to the side and bit her lip. There was something in the city she could feel it but she was not sure what it was. She shook her head then began to walk. 'What was that' she thought as she followed the lion prince. She pulled the hood of her cloak up, as she looked around. The city was destroyed and metal parts were scatter to the side of the rode. She look ahead to the side and noticed two figures digging through the metal.

The two kits stood to the side of the road as they searching through the metal "Its just junk. What is it kit?" kat said as he looked up. Aideen sow as they ran towards them. She looked ahead as they stood in front of Lion-O.

"I can't believe it prince Lion-O and Tygra to the rescue" Wilykit said as she followed the prince, will he ignored her.

"The names Wilykat and kit" Kat introduced "we thought we were the only cats left." They looked as the princes kept on walking without a look at them. Both exchange a glance at each other then ran towards the prince.

"Maybe we can join you until we get towards where we're going, El-Dara the city of treasure" Kit said as she followed Lion-O.

"Never heard of it" replied Lion-O.

"of course not," said kat as he took out a picture of a castle, "i have the only proof."

"No," the prince deadpan making the human girl frown.

"Please," both kitten said.

They all stopped and looked at the Kitts. Aideen stared at them 'they're just kids' she thought then looked at the prince. "We can't just live them here" said Tygra.

"Were on a mission to avenge our father and you want to play babysitter" Lion-O said then looked down at both kitts "their just going to have to take care of themselves, Tygra. Now lets go."

Aideen sighed as he looked at Tygra and Cheetara. "Isn't a king supposed to think about his people first?" she asked making then turned to look at her. "I know Lion-O is mad but still…." Tygra and Cheetara looked at each other as they let the human girl walked past them.

Both kids started meowing as they stood next to the prince, trying to change him mind to let them travel with them.

"I said no" Lion-O said making both kids stop and stared at him as he kept on walking. Aideen walked past them and could not help but feel sorry. Lion-O may be mad but there was no reason to let two kids alone. She smiled at them apologetically then kept on walking, there was nothing she could do.

"Sorry kids" Tygra apologised as they walked past them.

As they all kept on walking both Kit and Kat began to follow. Aideen turned around just as Kat said "just so you know were not following you"

"your just walking in front of us" kit finished.

This made Aideen smile and chuckle as she thought about her best friend. She was good at finding excused or covering what she was doing. It was away for her to get away with what she sometimes did on purpose. Aideen always loved her cousin because of her fearless attitude and how wise she was, even though sometimes Aideen got annoyed by her.

"What are you laughing at?" asked Tygra as he and Cheetara stood next to the human girl.

Aideen looked up and smiled "Nothing. I just thought of someone very important to me" she replied.

~*~*~*~ Night*~*~

They had travel a great distance until night had fallen. Aideen was tire from all the walking and to make it worse her wounds were now hurting more than they were. She had looked to make sure her wounds had not re-open with the help of Cheetara. Upon seeing her both kitten had started to ask questions, once she answered some of their questions they would quickly ask more. The human girl as able to free herself from the questionnaire when Cheetara told them she needed to rest and not be asked to much questions. She sat down on a tree branch close to the camp fire while the others sat in front of the fire. She looked up to the sky and closed her eyes.

\flashback/

A small girl looked at the sky with wonder, she then looked at the moon and turned towards her mother "Look mama! I can see a constellation" she exclaimed as she pointed towards a group of stars.

The older woman smiled down at her daughter then looked back at the stars "hmm seems like you found the bear constellation and if you look to its side you will see the smaller bear."

The small girl looked at were her mother pointed and sow the tine stars. She moved her hand and made a bear. She smiled brightly "Oh! I see it! I see it!"

The woman laughed and hugged her daughter tightly. "Did you know that the older bear is the mother of the younger bear?" she asked.

The younger girl shook her head, "no but how do you know?"

"Well theres a story about this two constellations."

The little girl turned and looked at her mother with excitement, "Really! tell me! tell me!"

"okay okay calm down first" the older woman sat straight. "Okay, this story originates from Greece. The legend says that a long time ago a god, Zeus, fell in love with a maiden by the name of Callisto. But Callisto was a follower of Artemis, a huntress and goddess of the crescent moon. Those who follow Artemis would not get married or have a relationship with a man, it was against what they had promise, but Zeus fell in love with Callisto. And soon Callisto gave birth to Arcas, son of Zeus. Now, Zeus wife was not happy with this and as such turned Callisto into a bear. Within time Arcas grew up and became a hunter. One day, when he was out in the wood Arcas came upon Callisto, he did not know that was his mother for she was turn into a bear. When Callisto stood up on her back legs to welcome her son, Arcas readied his bow thinking she was going to attack him. Zeus who was watching the scene stopped him. He told Arcas who the bear was and Arcas asked Zeus to turn him into a bear so he could be with his Arcas turn into a bear, Zeus then place them both in the sky so they would never be apart again."

The little girl turned her head back to the stars "wow" she said in awe. She then looked at her mother, "why are stars on the sky?"

Her mother looked at her then back at the stars. She thought about what she had said, "well… there in the sky to help light the way for those who travel great distance. If the moon and stars did not exist, then there would be no light at all and it would be very dark," she explained. Then looked at her daughter with serious eyes, "listen if we ever get separated just look at the stars and remember i will always be in your heart and one day we will find each other."

The little girl looked at her mother with a frighten expression, "why do you say that, mama" she asked as she began to get worried.

The elder woman hugged her daughter tight and whispered in her ear, "do not be afraid, my child. I will stay by your side but you must remember there are bad people in the world, and some who wishes us apart."

"Aideen?" a voice called her making her open her eyes and look at Cheetara.

"Yeah? What is it?" she asked as she sat straight. She had started to forget that one time her mother had told her that. She never knew what it had meant until she was told her mother was dead.

"were about to eat," she informed then looked at the human girl, "are you all right?"

"ha? Oh, yeah I'm fine. Just remembering" she looked up, then stood and made her way towards the others. "My family and I use to camp outside. We lived close to a forest, so from time to time we went out into the woods and camped. My mother would always say that being connected with nature was a way to being connected to our roots and to our body and mind."

"your mother sounds very wise."

"She was" she said as she sat down next to Tigra. Lion-O stood in front of her still determine to go after Mumm-Ra and not talking to Aideen, even if he was wishing too. Cheetara sat next to lion-O will the kitten decided to sit next to the human girl.

"Who was?" Wilykat asked as he heard her last past.

Aideen looked at the kitten, "My mother, she died when I was nine," she said with a sad smile.

"Oh, sorry" said kit.

She shook her head, " No, it fine. I won't see my mother. but that does not mean shes not watching over me. No matter what, i know she will always be with me."

The kittens shared a look then kat turned to her, "What was she like?"

Aideen put a finger on her chin and looked up. The others stood quite as they also wanted to hear about the humans family. Aideen looked down on the kittens, "Scary" she said then smiled, "at times but kind and caring. Her name was Irene, she loved to read about different cultures. She was a healer as she loved to help others. Everyone loved her." The others smiled at this.

"What about your, father" kit asked.

The human girl stop smiling and looked to the fire, "I don't know anything about him. We have nothing that belong to him or know anything about him like; how he looks like, where he lived or anything. My mother would get depress whenever we asked, so we just stopped asking" she shrugged she then gave them a sad smile. "There were sometime when mother would look at Zane and say he was a lot like him. In his attitude and priorities but sometimes she would have a sad look."

They all looked at the girl then Tigra asked, "Do you ever get curious as to who he was?"

Aideen looked at him and then looked at the fire, "Yeah I do. I have a lot of questions about him but my mothers feelings were first before my own desires. I never wanted to see my mother cry or have an expression of sadness," she replied. Aideen shook her head and sat straight, "Anyways, after my mother died we moved in with my aunt who took care of us, until my older brother was old enough to take care of us."

After dinner Aideen looked at the stars as the other were sleeping. She remembered her mother's soon from long ago and what she sang to her that one night:

"Don't cry my child, don't cry

wash way does tiers and smile bright

its not time to be sad but look at the wonders as you trouble through life

No matter how far you are

No matter how many people wish us apart

all be there within your heart

Even if the time comes when we need to say good bye

Just look at the stars and let them be your guide

let the moon be your light

and one day we will be by each others side

Its alright my child don't cry well find one another within time

Don't cry my child smile bright

i will always be by your side

No matter how far apart we are

I will always be within your heart"

She felt a tear run down her cheek as she remembered her mother. The death of the king had reminded her of her mother and that she would never see her again.

Aideen felt tire, they had walked for days and still no sight of the lizards or anything. Lion-O hadn't even spoken to her and she did not want to talk to him either, but for different reason. They had enter the dessert and Aideen was dying from the heat. When they finally stop to rest Aideen sat on the sand as she tried to find something cold but found nothing.

Tigra looked at Lion-O , "We've lost the trail, Lion-O" he said as his brother looked at him.

"And our supplies are dangerously low" Cheetara said as she shook the bag that held their supplies. Aideen stared at the bag then looked at the kittens as they breath hard.

"This heat is not doing anything to help, either" the human girl said but was only given a side glance from the princes.

"I don't care. We keep moving forward," he order then began to walk away.

Aideen stared at the princes back then she fell on the floor. "I don't care if he's king or not. I am not moving," she said then mumbled, "I hate hot air."

"What is that?" said Kat making Lion-O ran back and Aideen to lift her head.

The human sigh and put her head back down. "I'm still not standing up" she said. She then felt someone lift her up. She open her eyes and saw Lion-O lift her over his shoulder then began to walk. She stared at him and was about to argue but instead sigh and let herself be carried, at least she was not going to walk. As they got closer to the object Lion-O dropped Aideen on the sand making her yelp at the sudden action. She lift her head to look at him walk past by her.

"Need help?" she heard. Looking in front of her she saw Tigra extending his hand to help her up. She nodded then grabbed his hand.

"Thanks."

They both turned and looked at at Lion-O as he walked towards the sand sea, "Snarf just found the sand sea. Mumm-Ra's lair must be just on the other side."

"Do you see away around it?" Tigra asked.

Wilykat looked ahead, "I see something better" he said.

"Food"

The thundercats began cheering while Aideen looked at the sea with a hint of fear. Sand or water, to her it just looked like away for her to drown. She was about to back away when both kitten grabbed her hand and ran towards the food. They let her go just as they got to the food. The began to eat while Aideen stood and watched. She was next to Tigra and tried to not grabbed his arm in fear. The last thing she wanted was for the tiger prince to make fun of her for holding to him.

She frowned, "Um should we really be grabbing food that we just randomly found in the… sand sea? I mean, does anyone else wonder where all this came from?" Everyone stopped eating and looked around. That's when they noticed something rushing threw the water, "oh great."

A net came up from under them trapping them inside. They were pulled and thrown to the ground of the ship. Aideen groaned as she hit the ground hard. 'I'm going to be real hurt tomorrow' she thought. She looked ahead to glared at the people who captured her but soon widen her eyes as she stared at, what would be in her world, koi fish. The difference though was that this Koi were walking and talking.

"Quite the catch, I'd say" one of them said as they stared at the cats and humans. The thundercats tried to break free as Aideen just stared at the fish.

"What's all that racket?" a new voice said making Aideen and the rest turned to look at staircase that lead down to the bottom of the ship. Another fish man came out, "That better be the Ramlak you spineless jellyfish are carrying on about." He had a leg missing and was older than most of the crew. His left eye was closer, which meant it was missing.

Aideen stared at him then lowered her face her hood covering her from the sight of the fish man. She sigh then mutter, "Great pirates. Why did there have to be pirates in this world."

"Another worthless haul," he said then talked to the chef of the ship, "Take what the crew doesn't eat and turn it into chum." He order making the chef turns to them and began sharpening his knife.

"Whiskers."

They sail along the sand sea and even though Aideen would like to see the sea, and at the same time freak out, she couldn't as she along with the others were tied up. Thankfully they did not take her hood down, yet. Aideen stayed calm will the others began to try to break free.

"That bait was for the beast" the captain said as he stared at them.

"I am Lion-O, lord of the thundercats, and i order you to release us" Lion-O said.

Aideen tried to elbow him but was unable to. She grit her teeth and looked at him, "really? you are going to try and demand them. If you haven't notice Lion-O they are not Thindercats," she growled as the crew laughed at them.

"It talks, and it still got some fight in it," the captain said. "Well, Lion-O, lord of the Thundercats. I am koinelius Tunar, captain of this ship. And i order you fillet," he said.

The chef began to re-sharpen his knifes, "Let's start with the little ones. Their meat will be the most deliciously tender," he said frightening both kits.

Aideen raised her head, "Hey! Leave them alone. Do we look like something edible to eat? Seriously?" she said making them turn to her.

The captain towards her and stared down. He removed her hood and was surprise to find a human girl. The captain took a step back and stared at her, "Well well look what we got here." He turned towards his crew, "Untie her," he order making the Thundercats and Aideen stare at him in surprise. The fish men did as told and untied Aideen and only her. Then held her hands behind her back as to make sure she didn't try to escape.

"Do you want me to cook her for you, captain," the chef asked as he looked at his captain for orders.

The captain stared at the human girl as he rubbed his chin. He thought he recognized her and soon he realize who she looked like. This intrigue him, making him smile and creep Aideen out. "No, take her" the captain began as the rest waited for his orders, "to my chamber."

Aideen stared at him in shock as did the rest of the crew and thundercats. Aideen shiver with disgust at the hidden message behind the order. She knew what he meant and she was very disgusted by that. The thundercats instead stared at the captain both princes in anger as they realize what he wanted from Aideen. While the two kits were confused.

Just as Aideen was about to protest and yell at the captain, the ship was hit by some large object. This made the ship rock and for the fish men to fall down, making the one who was holding her to let go. Aideen hit the floor then looked up as green tentacle grabbed a crew member and dragged him to the sea.

The captain stared at the sea monster, "Ramlak! At long last, My wretched quarried returns!" he said. He was rather happy than worried about the crew that were being thrown of the ship. Aideen stood and walked towards the thundercats, trying to be careful to not get hit. The tentacles hit the boat, some getting the crew members. She dodged as one fish men shot a tentacle with a speargun. That did not work and instead it gave the monster the ability to pull him and throw him in to the sea.

Aideen kneel down next to her friends and took her knife out. She began to cut the ropes. She turned to glare at Tigra just as she saw him about to say something, "Don't you dare, Tigra."

"Come on, you filthy maggots! This is the moment we've waited for! fight!" the captain said but the monster began to break the ship. Some of the crew began sliding down the ship ground.

Aideen finish cutting the ropes released the thundercats. Just as she was about to move some, when one of the monsters tentacles wrapped around her and lift her up on the air. "Aideen!" Lion-O yelled just as he along with the rest were lift by the monster.

"Oh come on," the human girl said as she was upside down. Her knife had fallen down and now she had no weapon to help her break free. She struggled with the tentacle but this ally made it tighten around her more. She looked at the other and noticed Lion-O lift his sword.

"Thundercats, Ho!" the young prince said he cut the tentacle that had him trapped. He then cut the ones holding the kitts. Aideen sow as the princes cuts her free and was grateful, if it wasn't for the fact that she was upside down and falling down. Lion-O landed on his feet and extended his arms catching Aideen. "Gotcha," he said as she looked at him.

Aideen couldn't help but blush as she was carried bridal style. She smiled at him, "Thanks" she said as he let her down on her feet. She grabbed the her knife and stood next to the princes.

"The foods fighting better than you!" the captain said to his crew as they stayed back to scared to help. "Thats the spirit, boy-o," he commented as he stood next to Lion-O and Aideen. Just as another tentacle was going to attack them her cut the front of it.

Tigra was able to get freed and began shooting as the monster tried to grab on to him. The rest were fighting, with the kits biting at its tentacles. As the fought the monster retrieved and went back into the sea.

"Run, you coward! You can't escape me forever! I'll follow you to the flaming pits of Magman before i give you up!" captain Tunar said as the monster sanked into the sea.

Lion-O turned toward the captain, "Now, what were we talking about before the interruption?"

"I believe we were discussing how we would fillet you," the captain said, then smiled. "But had i known you were such a fine warriors, I would have gladly serve you my own first mate to you on a platter." he finished as he put his hand on Lion-Os shoulder.

Aideen made a disgusting noise as she heard what the fish man said, "Argh.. that's just so wrong" she said. Then felt bad as she noticed who the first mate was.

Captain Tunar turned to his crew, "Listen up, fishes. These fine fellows are our new ship mate, so treat them like you would your own scaly brothers," he order then turned and motion to the kits. "And fix the little ones some food." The grabbed Lion-Os shoulder and left.

"Food" they exclaimed.

One of the fish men walked towards them with two brooms. "Welcome to the crew," he said as he handed cheetara the broom.

Cheetara looked at the equipment, "Why don't i feel good about this, Tygra? Tygra?" she looked up and sow Tygra leaning to the side of the ship as he throwing up.

Aideen looked at Cheetara, "Sea sick?" she guess. Crossing her arms she gave a small smile then looked at the princes, "Would you look at." She turned to look at the the Koi fish and frowned, "Do i have to clean too?" she asked.

He looked at her then shook her head. "Nah, you are our captains mate. You don't have to work," he said then left.

Aideen shudder as she looked at the fish man. There was no way she was a fishes mate. First, that was impossible. Second, as if she was going to become someone like that's mate. "Argh…. I rather be food than be anyones mate. Especially that ones" she commented. Cheetara laughed at that.

Captain Tunar climbed the top of the ship with Lion-O right behind him. "Hurry up you landlubber. How can I be so much faster when I've got twice the years and one less leg," he said as he kept climbing soon getting to the top.

"How'd you lose it, captain?" Lion asked as he finished climbing.

As they stood at the top of the ship, the captain put his metal leg on a metal poll. "I didn't lose this leg. It was taken by the ramlak," he said making Lion-Os eyes widen. "And so was out oasis home," he grabbed his hand scope and looked at the sea. "We had water paradise amid this barrel sea. And the vile creature drank it dry." He turned to Lion-O, "Do you know what its like, Lion-O. To have everything taken from you and replaced with rage?" he asked.

The Lion-O looked down, "A rage that won't go away until the monster is no more" he replied.

"Aye"

Wilykit and Wilykat wasted no time eating what was given to them. They eat very fast as the chef looked at them. The finished then held their plates up, "More please," they said together.

Smiling the chef said, "That's it. Lets put some fat on those hungry bellies." He brought another plate and set it down. Then watched them eat again, "I like like my dishes a little spicy. How about some seasoning?"

"Yes, please!"

The chef added seasoning to their dishes but not only their food. He also added some seasoning to Kat but he did noticed. He then touched Kits hair and thought about the dish he was going to make, "This is going to be delicious."

"What was that?" asked kat.

"Seconds, of course."

"All tell you, Lion-O. We would have sunk the Romlack long ago if this crew wasn't full of insubordination," the captain said.

"What do you do when they question the course you've set?" Lion-O asked.

"A crew rarely knows what's best for them. Everything you do is for this sorry lot, and they still go soft on you," the captain said then leaned back. "When they do, you have to sail one, with or without them," he finished making lion-Os expression to harden.

They were interrupted as a dark purple cloud loomed above them. Thunder hitting the sea making the water splash. "I see it" lion-O said as he pointed toward the dark object. "There, a quarter arc of the sun's journey. Straight ahead."

"Good spot, lad" he said to lion-O then looked down to the crew. "Quite flopping around, you lazy lumps. The chase is on." They sailed toward the creature that was within the storm.

Aideen grabbed the rail of the ship as they got into the storm. Thunder hitting the sea and the waved classing around the ship. She was frighten it reminded her of that one day. She always dreamed of it. But this was real she was feeling it again. The only differences was that she wasn't drowning, but she was still in the sea and that could happen any minute. Her grip tighten as they sail deeper into the sea. 'Calm down, Aideen. Calm down,' she thought to herself.

"Thunderstorm just blew in in ahead. Advise we sail around it" one of the crew members said had looked at the big storm that was ahead of them.

"And lose the Ramlak trail? Full speed ahead" the captain order.

"But, captain, we'll never survive."

Lion-O ran towards the wheel of the ship, "The only thing that's not surviving is the ramlak. Into the store we go" he said as he turned the wheel directing the ship toward the storm.

Aideen watched alongside Cheetara and Tigra as Lion-O steered the ship. "Lion-O, this is madness. What are you doing?" Tigra asked.

Lion-O turned and stared at them with a hard expression. "Not letting anything stand in my way. Not a storm, not you" he said.

They stared at him in shock as he had said that. Aideen did not believe what he had said. He was letting the anger control him. She tried her best to calm down as she began to shake, the thunder got louder. She did not wanted to be here.

"faster . Faster! I can taste its full breadth on the wind," the captain said as he stood next to Lion-O

"Captain, please. The ship won't last any long," Cheetara said as she tried to reason with the captain. Aideen stood next to her wanting to say something but to afraid for her mouth to even open. She was lucky to still be standing.

"Its time to turn back" Tigra agreed.

"Ha! I see you're just as soft as the rest of the chum on this ship," he said to them then turned towards Lion-O. "Come on, lad. Its you and me."

Aideen turned towards the lion. She looked at him, "Lion-O don't do this. Anger will not solve anything, please" she said. He looked at her and could tell something was wrong but instead ignored it and her.

He turned toward the captain, "I'm right beside you, captain," he said then left with him.

The human starred as the two left. The wind getting harder and harder by the minute. She went to the side of the rail and bent down. She shook her head, trying to make the fear and images go away. She could not be weak not when there were some creatures whose life were at risk.

Cheetara and Tigra looked at her. It took a minute before Cheetara remembered their conversation. She went to the girl and could see her beginning to shake from fear. "Are you alright, Aideen?" she asked.

Aideen opened her eyes and shook her head. She took a deep breath then stood. "We need to make sure that nothing bad happens," she said before walking towards the crew. She saw as the captain shot beams of light at the rocks that made it way towards the ship while lion-O sliced then from above.

"Isn't it exhilarating? Hahahaha!" the captain laughed as he kept on shooting. Aideen looked at him and she was for sure that he was crazy.

She then looked at Lion-O who was also laughing, "Don't forget to same some for the Ramlak!" he yelled.

Aideen and the rest stood wide eye. Aideen shook her head, "he has lost it, Damn" she mutter.

While everything else was going on the two kittens were eating without a care to was going on. The two kept on eating as the chef sharpen his knife. "This old cook is tire of cooking," he said then turned towards the two kits. "Its his turn to eat."

Kit stood on the table, "that's why we made this for you. Looks good, huh?" she said.

"What? Unh!" the chef has no time to react as kat shoved the ice cream on his face. His face began to turn red.

"you said you loved that spicy stuff, so we just use a bunch of that" kat informed as the chef fell. They got of the table then just as kit was leaving she turned and said to the chef, "thanks for the food."

Aideen was sure she was going to be sick. She tried everything to keep her mind focus but the movements of the ship and the fear she had, was not helping at all. She looked ahead as the monster surface. It looked like a purple sea anemone with green tentacles.

"Its surfacing. Now's our chance," the captain said. The crew all stood ready some with hesitation as they stared at the monster. Aideen watched as it got one of its tentacle out of the water and swagged at some of the crews. She dodge in time to avoid being hit along with them.

The captain walked towards Lion-O, "You ready, my boy?" he asked as he got into the shooting machine.

"Always" Lion-O replied as he held a speargun. He shot but the speed of the gun was too much for him, making him to let go. He ran towards some of its tentacles and took out his sword. He began to cut while the captain shot toward its head. The rest of the crew began to try and cut some of the arms but they were instead grabbed or thrown by them.

One of the tentacles crabbed on to a poll and broke it in half. The poll fell down braking the ship.

"Take out the arms. Then we go for the head," the captain said oblivious to what was happening to his crew and the ship. He kept on shooting the arms, while the rest tried to not get hit by them.

Tigra shot the arms as they tried to hit him. He did a flip back to avoid the arm that came from behind. Cheetara use her speed to avoid being hit while also cutting some of it tentacles. Aideen swinged her knife cutting some of the tentacles as well, but she was beginning to grown weak. She dodge and avoid getting hit. Seeing two tentacles coming her way she jumped in the air and did a flip back with one hand helping support her body. She touch the grown and cut one of the teticles but was not fast enough to avoid being hit by the other one. She was thrown back to the rail of the ship, where some of the broken wood was sticking out. She felt a sharp pain on her right arm but did not have time to process what it was as another tentacle came towards her. She rolled to the side and then stood up.

By now the monster had its tentacles wrapped around the ship. It began to rope and tighten it grip. Aideen sow as the ship began to break in half. She tried to grab something as the ship was tilt to the side, some of the crew members falling of. But that did not stop the monster from destroying the ship.

The human girl gabbed on the side of the rail trying hard to not let go but her right arm was not helping her as a sharp pain shot through her. She looked down as the ship was finally cut in half. One of its tentacle shot towards her making her lose her grip and fall into the water.

Lion-O looked as the crew fell down from the other side of the broken ship. He held to the side of the ship,"What are you doing don't stop, lad! It almost night," the captain said as he grabbed a spear gun.

The lion looked at him, "the crew. There going to drown.

"never mind them we can always get a new crew. We finish this now, before he submerges again."

"Isn't it the crew were fighting for?" he asked in disbelief.

"Don't tell me you're going soft like the rest"

"I guess I am" lion-O said before jumping on broken ship pieces that were floating on the water.

The captain walked toward the front of the broken ship. "Come on, beast! For hate's sake, I spit my last breath at thee," he said as he shot a spear to the head of the monster then laughed. The monster began to submerge himself in the water. "You won't slip away this time. I've got you now," were his last words before he was pulled into the water.

"Everyone over here," lion-O shouted as he stood above a cross of polls. The crew swarmed toward him grabbing at the poll. The thundercats swarmed towards him and were then sitting on the poll along with the fish man, but there was no sight of Aideen. "Where's Aideen?" Lion-O asked as he looked around the sea trying to find his human friend. The rest of the thundercats did the same, but she was nowhere to be found.

Then Cheetara remembered how she was acting and what the human girl told her. She turned towards Lion-O and Tigra, "She told me once she was afraid of water, because she almost drowned when she was little."

Lion-O stared at the cheetah as he hear what she said. He felt guilty for what he made her do. He looked around and shouted her name, "Aideen!" The rest did the same.

Tigra looked around and spotted a place where the sea sand was darker than normal. He then remember having seen her cut herself with the side of the rail. Without a second thought he jumped in to the water and headed towards the dark sand.

The thundercats looked the way Tigra had gone. There eyes widen when they saw him emerge with Aideen on his arm. The human held tight to the tiger as they swarmed toward the rest. Aideen was sure she was going to drawn but for some reason she didn't. She remembered feeling warmth as she fell down and her being able to hold her breath while she was under water. She tried to swim up but her arm was hurt and she was yet to recover from what happen back in Thunderia.

"Aideen, Are you alright" Lion-O asked as he bent down to check on his friend.

Aideen took a deep breath as she sat there trying to get her fear under control. She thought she was going to die, again. She didn't want other to worry about her. Opening her eyes she gave a weak smile, "y-yeah I-I'm fine" she stutter. 'come on, Aideen! get yourself together!' she thought to herself. She looked at Lion-O then gave a better smile than the one she gave before. "Just don't go crazy on me again, Please" she joked making the lion smile back at her. The rest smile, and the kits hugged the human girl. Tigra though was worried he could feel the girl shaking when he helped her, he knew she wasn't okay, but decided to leave it for now.

Lion-O stood up and grabbed a speargun. He shot the gun toward the other half of the ship.

Aideen was sitting on the ship having finally calmed down. She looked at the prices as he stood in front of the cleric and his brother. She walked towards them.

"You steered us into quite a storm, Lion" Aideen said as she came and stood next to them. Lion-O looked at her wondering if she really was okay.

"I lost sight for what's important. And for that I'm-" lion-O was cut of as the monster emerged and grabbed the lion by its two tongue.

"No!"

"Lion-O!"

"Give him back you slimy sack of tentacles," wilykat said as they stared at lion-O being eaten by the monster.

'No!' Aideen thought as she saw her friend disappeared. This day was just getting worst and worst for her.

They watched as the creature began to move toward them before it straighten out. A blue light came to its side. Lion-O cut threw the creature and water came out of it. The crew began to cheer while the human girl fell to the floor. She sighed in relief and could feel tears begin to cloud her vision. But right now she was not going to cry, she wiped away the tears and stood up.

Aideen rested her head on her knees as she looked at Lion-O talked with the fish men. She was not feeling good and the fact that they would be crossing the sea was not making her feel any better.

They had gotten a small ship to help them sail across the sea. Aideen has gotten her arm bandage and re-bandage some of her wound. Lion-O had immediately apologies as he saw the cut she had gotten on her arm. She on the other hand had said it was fine and to forget about but he still felt guilty.

"Thanks to you, we have our home back," said one of the Koi fish as he shook hands with the lion.

"I'm sorry about your captain," Lion-O apologized.

"It was his own foolish choice that lead him to his sandy crave," the fish men replied.

"We'd better get moving before the sun sets," Tigra informed making Lion-O turned to him. The tiger prince gave a side glance at the human girl who had her eyes closed. He was worried since she hadn't spoken much after the incident. He saw as she open her eyes and looked at him, she gave a weak smile then looked back at Lion-O.

"So, what order you have for you crew?" cheetara asked.

"Set our courses for the book of omens" he replied making Aideen smile. Even if she had gone back to her worst nightmare she was glad to have the old Lion-O back.

Looking at his brother tigra asked, "And do we do about these two stowaways?"

"I said I'm not going to babysitter. Its a good thing they've proven they can take care of themselves," answered Lion-O.

Aideen smiled at the lion as he got in the ship and he smiled back at her before taking the controls. The human turned back and waved at the fish men as they were about to leave.

"Wait!" one said. They turned and looked as he came closer to the human girl. "What your name, human?" he asked.

Aideen blanked as she lifted her head to look at him "Um…. Aideen," she responded then frowned, "How do you know my species?"

The fish smiled at her, "I once met a human before. She was a very strong female. Her name I never knew. Before the Ramlak stole our water she had came in a ship of her own. She was kind but strong, you reminded me of her."

Aideen stared at him, she was sure he was talking about her mother. "I.. see. Was she alone?"

The koi thought about her question then shook his head, "No, she was accompanied by four others two were cats. The other two were of different species; a dog and a fox. They came and stayed for a while then left." He took something out and handed it to her, "But the human left this."

Aideen grabbed the object and notice it was a hand clock. The lid was a beautiful design with small crystals. She open the lid and notice the inside glass was in perfect condition, it was even working. She smiled as she looked at the back, her mother's initials were in the back. There was another letter and S. She didn't know anyone with that letter. She turned and smile at the fish, "Thank you."

He gave a nodded then turned back and Lion-O began to navigate thru the sea. Aideen looked at the clock and wondered why there was another initial in it, and whose was it. She shook her head and isted was grateful for having something else that belong to her mother.

"Is thats your mothers?" Kit asked as she looked at the clock.

Aideen smiled and nodded her head, "Yeah." She hugged her knees and felt something in her boot. She frowned then took the object out. It was her knife, the one she thought she had lost in the sea.

"What is it Aideen?" Cheetara asked as she had see the human girl look at the knife with a frown.

"I thought I had dropped this in the sea. How did it get in my boot?"

Alchys smiled slyly as she read her spell book. She was sure she had finally found a way to get darkness in the girl. She may have forgotten what happen those two days and the witch was sure her father made sure to keep it that way. Making her remember was not going to be possible but if she wanted to know. Now that was a different matter. Little by little the girl would get her memories back cracking the headband and with the help of her magic she could make that happen faster. Now all she needed to worry was on that protection spell the girl had. The magic used was not an easy one to brake.

Her snake hissed as she closed the book, 'what are you planning, Alchys?' the snake said as the witch began to walk out her room.

"I think i will need to give, Aideens father a visit" she smirked. She walked towards the main room. Where she show Mumm-ra with Grun. She groaned as she walked toward them the scream of the cat getting louder as she came closer. The old cat was in a lighting circle being torture.

"If Jaga knew where the book of Omens was, Claudus never would have sent Panthro and I to look for it." He said in with a serious expression, "The sword of Omens is what's important."

Alchy snort, "Oh the ignorance. How pitiful there aren't those who can see the bigger picture," she said as she past Grun, who growl at her, and stood next to Mumm-ra.

Mumm-ra ignored the human, "Is that so, Grun? If he had nothing to hide, then explain why he so fiercely resisting my efforts to probe his mind."

Alchys put her hand on her hip, "The Sword of Omens is but a part of a bigger picture. The book of Omens has a more important use." She turned towards the sabercat, "I hope your mind can figure it out."

He growled at her ready to lash out at her, but was unable to as Mumm-ra began to speak. "Your magic is strong, wizard. But today, you will black. Where is the book?"

Jaga turned and looked at the mummy as he spoke, "You know I will die before revealing the books location."

Mumm-ra smiled, "Alchys."

The witch smiled and walked towards the wizard making him stared wide eyed at her. "Never seen a witch before, wizard?" she said then held up a lamp that began to suck the wizards inside. Jaga tried to not get sucked in. "Come now. Don't be afraid. This won't hurt," she mucked. Alchys watched as the wizard got sucked into the lantern. She smiled as his face appeared on the lantern glass.

Walking toward the mummy she handed him the lantern. The mummy looked at the glass, "The dark magic in this lantern will force you to show us the location of the book of Omens." The old cat grounded then his face disappeared and a white light shined out of the lantern directing them toward the book. The witch began to walk away leaving Mumm-ra with his lantern.

"Where are you going, witch" Grun asked.

Alchys turned around and looked at the cat. She put her finger on her lip the said, "I have someone to visit."

Okay ready for the good news? Well here it is; I will hopefully be able to update, two chapters more for this whole month or maybe more.

And withing both chapters you will learn more about Aideens fear of water and what, or who, cause them. And as you can see you may also learn a little bit more about Aideens father but his whole story will not happen until the end of the season. There will be more about her mother in the chapters to come. I will also explain later own what Alchys' relationship with Irene is but her relationship with Aideens father will not be discover until the end of the season.

I do want to tell you though that the reason why captain Tunar was going to make her his mate will also be reviled in the chapters to come. So don't worry that will be answered. Along with who her ancestor wore and what the soul stone is.

Now, about last chapter; I wanted to make Claudus stay alive longer in order for him to be able to die saving his sons not just because he rushed to save someone who turned out to be someone else. I wanted to give his death a meaning.

The last thing thought is this; Tigra and Aideens relationship will be changing as he did save her, and that will have a big in pact on her as you learn about her fears.

Oh! And yes the snake talks, which i just thought about that because i have an awesome idea for it.

Anyways; Don't forget to favored/fallow/and review.
