hello! Anyways I have some good news at the end of the chapter. And we get to know more about Aideen.
Disclaimer: I don't own thundercats but I do one my OC'S.
Old friends
Brown curious eyes looked at the blond hair girl, who was sitting alone. She was the same age as the brown eye girl, unlike her red-brown hair she had strawberry blonde and her eyes were green. She was dress in a knee length blue dress with a bow on her head. The brown eye girl looked at her wondering why she was so alone. She blanked a couple of times wanting to know if she should bother the other girl or if she should just leave her to her self.
The blond hair girl frowned, "What do you want?" she asked in a quiet voice.
The red-hair girl tilted her head, "Why are you alone?" she asked as she sat next to the girl on the bench, her feets swinign from the ground. She waited to get a response but the small girl just turn around and looked to the side. The little girl thought about what to do, she was sure the other kids did not want to play with her. A slow smile spread on the girl's lips, "What's your name?"
The blond girl looked back and stared at her. She frowned at her then looked down, "Julie."
The small girl smiled and stood up. She extended her hand towards Julie, "Well then, I am Aideen and from now on you and I are friends," she said with a smile.
The brown snake open her eyes. It she scanned her surroundings looking for her master. Her brown eyes began to close. She open them as she heard footsteps coming her way. The snake stuck her tongue trying to see who it was that was coming her way. She waited but no one entered.
She looked to the side of the bed as dark cloud formed then disappeared and left her master in the room with a bitter face. She lift her head and hissed, "Alchys? Yoou seem vverry disspleasse."
Alchys turned towards her pet, "Yes, I am. Those stupid lizards don't know the consequences of their actions. If Aideen can now use her inner power there is no telling how close she is to get over her fear. She has gotten confidence as well, probably trusted one of those thundercats" She walked towards her desked grabbed a book then grabbed the snake. She let the snake wrapped herself around her neck as she left the room. "I did not wanted for it to come to this but well have to go with the new plan," she gave the snake a side glance then looked back, "it had you involved. Its your time, Jewel. It time to remind Aideen of what she has forgotten."
"Whatever you want me to do, I will do it. Ass Long assss I make her ssssuffer."
"You can't dwell on the past, Aideen," The human girl heard as she tried to open her eyes. "You're stronger. I know it. You will get thru this just have faith, my dear." The human girl open her eyes and looked around she was laying on the ground surrounded by broken trees. She blanked a couple of times then closed her eyes. The words she heard were not of the regular voices she would hear, but rather of a man. Who she was sure she knew, but did not remembered.
"You're awake," she heard the voice of cheetara. Aideen stood and turned to the side, were cheetara was kneeled down. She handed the girl her fingerless gloves.
"What happen?" she asked as she put her gloves on. She remembered an intense pain in her hands but from there on she remembered nothing.
"You fainted," the cheetah answered. "Aideen your hands were burned."
"What?!" the human exclaimed. She looked at her hand and remembered seeing nothing on them. She looked back at the female, "But how are they normal?"
Cheetara grabbed her chin, "I don't know that either, but" she began then looked at the girl. "I put water thinking it would calm the pain. What was strange was that the water began to heal your hand until there was no burn marks left."
Aideen thought about what the cheetah said then sighed. "I didn't feel pain when i use the fire."
"But, Aidee, how did you use fire if its the opposite of your element?" she asked.
Aideen stared at her hands, "I don't know but maybe there's something in my mother's books that explain that." Cheetara nodded and helped Aideen stand up, "I feel fine, thank you. Now, where are the others?"
Cheetara pointed toward the figures ahead, "Their there. With panthro."
Aideen raised an eyebrow, "Panthro?" she asked.
The female cat nodded her head, "he was the one to save us," she replied. Aideen nodded as she remembered what another cat saving them. "Wait," Cheetara said making the girl turned toward her. The cheetah then pulled two small silver rings, one has what looked like a semi-circle that was white with a black dot at the top . The other one was a thick silver ring with black letters that read 'to infinity.' She handed the girl the rings, "They weren't burned but I had to take it off."
Aideen reached for the rings. She wished to throw the white ring to forget about it, but she knew she would not be able to. Aideen put the rings back on then put her glove over them. "Thanks," she thanked.
"Who gave it to you?" she asked.
Aideen lifted the silver ring with the letter, "This was given to me by Isa, my cousin."
"And the other?" the female cat asked making the girl hesitate.
With a sad expression she replied, "That, was given by an old friend."
They walked towards the rest of the cats. Cheetara stood next to Tygra while Aideen stood next to Lion-O. The two cats looked at the human with worried but she only smiled at them.
The two kitts turned toward the human asking the question the prince and king wanted to ask, "Are you okay?" they asked.
Aideen nodded her head, "yeah I'm fine just confuse." She looked at the Panthro who was hammering the side of the vehicle. He was well toned with a red pike vest. In his hands were red spike gloves. His pants were black with a belt that had a red jewel. She turned to the young king, "Talk about being serious. He looks like he doesn't like anyone"
"I thought he'd be smaller," Lion-O said.
"I thought he'd be less spiky," Cheetara commented.
Aideen stared at the vehicle as smoke came out from the side. She looked at what the smoke was able to let her seem. Seemed that something had burned.
"Go on," She hear Tygra began making her turn towards him and lion-O to look his way. "Lord of thethundercats. See if your royal subject needs help fixing his tank. That is. Unless your scare," he taunted his brother. Aideen narrows her eyes then rolled them. He had to always have a way to get to his brother. She watched as Lion-O walked towards the Panthor.
"Hey Panthro," Lion-O said. He stood at the next to the vehicle as he watche the panther hammer the part that was the source of the smoke.
"Go away," Panthro replied. "Can't you see I'm busy?"
"Rude much," Aideen said as she crossed her arms. She walked to stand next to the young king.
"Oh, come on! You really gonna ignore us forever? What are you so grumpy about anyways?" Lion-O asked.
"You're standing on my samoflange" the panther answered without turning.
"Sorry," the lion replied as he looked down and raised one eyebrow. Aideen gave a small laugh making him turn her way. He gave a small smile before clearing his throat," Ehm. Look, maybe we can help. I've dabbled in a little tech myself," he then extended his hand toward Aideen. "And Aideen, here knows about technology." Aideen raised an eyebrow as he looked at him.
"I may know of technology but I'm not as good with vehicles as my older brother," she said. The panther looked at her briefly before turning back to the king.
"The thunder-tank is out of Thundrilium. Now I have to risk my hide to get more from the cloud peak mine," he said as he pointed toward a big mountain that stood far from where they were.
Lion-O said seriously, "If you're going after Thundrilium, were coming with you," he said.
Panthro drooped down and stood straight as he looked at the young king. "Let me put this as respectfully as I can. No" he said.
"I am the king now, general," Lion-O stated with a serious expression.
"Fine. If you slow me down or get in my way you're on your own. Any questions?" the panther asked.
Tygra raised his hand, "What's a samoflange?" he asked.
Aideen chuckled as the tiger had asked that question. Even she wanted to know what the heck that was. But the question was not answered.
Inside the mountain, drill vehicles were driling to the side of the mountains. Letting the walls crumble to reveal a mass rock cover in small purple-pink shards. They were then grabbed by a wire iron claw and took to a machine that moved them up. Towers a small container that separated the dirt and crystals.
Grune looked down at the machine from where he stood. Next to him a wagon full of magenta colored crystals. He reached inside the wagon and grabbed a crystal. He pulled it closed to his face, "Thundrilium, the life blood of Mumm-Ra's army and its under my control," he said.
The sound of drilling was hear from under ground as the ground began to shake. The two lizards that were standing in guard were thrown as a drilling machine came out from underground. It stopped spinning revealing a robot machine whose bottom have and arms, as well as a small section of its head, was a drill saw bit. "Section four, completed. Awaiting your next command, general Grune," the robot informed.
"Go deeper. And let nothing stand in your path, driller," the general commanded. The robot did as command and began to drill under again.
"Wait for us here, we'll be back before dark," the young king told the kittens and snarf as they were inside the thundertank.
"If we all don't die first," panthro said as they began to walk toward the mountain. Aideen stood a few feet away seated on a log with her mother's book in her hand. A she hear them approach she got up and walked toward them, her eyes never leaving the page.
"Aideen, what are you doing?" Lion-O asked as he stood in front of the girl.
Aideen raised her head then went back to reading. "Coming with you," she replied.
"You were hurt, I don't think its a good idea for you to come," Cheetara said.
Aideen looked up from her book. "I said I was fine, beside do you really think i would let you go without me," she said then went back to reading. "Yeah like I'll let that happen."
The cheetah looked at the human girl, "Aideen, I don't-"
Before she could finish her sentence Panthro interrupted her. "If she wants to go just let her. She seems capable enough to take care of herself," he said as he began to walk away, "now were wasting time."
Aideen began to follow panthro as she went back to reading. The human girl kept on walking and avoiding any that may have her trip or hit herself. She let her instinct guide her as she kept on walking.
"You sure have a motley crew on your hands, kid" the panther said as guided them along. "It's a miracle you survived this long without any adult supervision."
"We've been doing just fine under my command," Lion-O replied as they walked threw the forest.
"If you want to stay alive, you have to listen to me!" Panthro replied as they stood up a hill and looked ahead.
"I'm the king now, Panthro"
"Hah, could've fooled me," Panthro laughed. Aideen raised an eyebrow and looked his way as he turned toward the young king. " Your father, now he was a leader."
"King Claude was a good leader," Aideen said making everyone turned to look at her. "But you cannot decide who is a leader if you just met them. "
Cheetara then spoke as Aideen finished, "The king fought to his last breath trying to save thundera. In the end Grune's betrayal was too much to overcome."
Panthro stared ahead, "Grune. We've been inseparable ever since that first day we meet on the battlefield."
\\flashback/
Fire rocks were thrown all around the battlefield, some getting cat soldiers and some destroying walls. The battle field stood cover with broken walls and dead cats. The flag that bared the cat signal was ripped along dead cats. Both cats and lizard fighting.
"Fire!" a lizard soldier said as he fire rocks were thrown at the cat solders. Who tried to protect themselves with their shield but was no use as they were thrown away by the impact. There were destroyed cannons and dead cats along with their horses.
Two cats carried a big rock with sweat. They tried to get to the catapult, but were hit by a rock.
A younger Grune ran towards the rock. Lifting it up with somewhat eased, as a younger panthro looked at him.
"Finally, another cat who pulls his weight around here," Panthro commented. The saber then threw the rock at the panther with eased. Panthro catched the rock and gave a smile, "names Panthro."
"Grune," the saber replied he then pulled the catapult rope. "I don't know about you," the saber began as he pulled the rope down, "But grunt work wasn't what I had in mind when I enlisted."
"You gotta prove yourself," Panthro said as he began to put the rock at the head of the catapult. "Rise through the ranks."
"I dont have the patience for that," Grune aimed the catapult to where the fighting king was. Claudus fought with the lizards at a high ground, lizards came towards him from both behind and front. He turned just when more lizards were coming his way. Grune let go of the rock throwing the rock high in the air, then it hit the center of where the lizards wore. As the cloud of smoke cleared the lion king smiled down at the two soldiers.

The two soldiers stood straight as the were awarded with a metal that had a hand holding lightning. They stood in the throne room surrounded with cats of noble states.
Grune turned towards panthro, "Look at us, Panthro, soon we'll run this kingdom."
The panther laughed as he looked at his friend, "You're planning on becoming lion?" he joked.
"No," Grune replied as he looked ahead, "I plan on becoming king."

Panthro stood on the battlefield with a sword on his hand. The lizards stood ahead of him some ran towards the panther while some shot arrows his way. The cat soldier slash at arrows that were flown his way. One of the lizard ran towards him, a mace on his hand. The sword and mace made contact but the sword was shatter making the panther pull his hand back. He then process to gave his nunchucks and hit the lizards with it sending some back.
Grune and Panthro stood side by side, "If you wanna make it to general, you'll have to do better than that."
Panthro laughed, "I'm eleven lizards ahead of you, captain."
Grune lift his mace and hit two of the lizards with it. He then gave a laugh, "haha. Make that nine."
'\'\''/'/\'\'\'\'\'\'\'\'\
A young Tygra and Lion-O fought with wooden swords as both Grune and Panthro watched them from the side. Grune sat on a stone seat while the panther stood next to him. Both kids swing their swords at one another. "Don't hold back, Tygra!" Grune told the older sibling. "You're stronger! faster! Use your advantages." The tiger jumped in the air and swinged down on his brother, making him drop his sword. Tygra stood over his brother with a smirk as his face as he pointed the tip of the sword at his brother. "Excellent! Now continue your training and remember. What you cannot earn can always be taken." The two kids stared at the saber.
Both soldiers stood up as their king approached. "My two finest warriors," the king said then turned as if thinking about what he was going to say. He looked at them both, "I know what you're waiting to hear. I've chosen Lynx-O to be the general of the army."
This made both cats surprise, "Lynx-O has less experience than either of us." the saber protested.
"Thats why I'm keeping you together for a much more important task," the king said as he pulled of a scroll and unfolded. In side was the picture of a pyramid with cats and a book at the top. Both cats looked at the scroll, "the book of Omens. I believe is more than a legend and if anyone can find it, it's you two." He looked at he both cats, "I hope you understand."
Grune gave a low growl then turned away. Panthro bowed at the king, "Your role is not to question, your highness." The saber crossed his arms in displeased.
{end of flashback}
Aideen looked at panthro as they kept on walking. She noticed the face he had when he said Grune's name. The human walked to stand beside the older cat. He turned her way and asked in annoyance, "What do you want?"
The girl looked at him after closing her book, "You and Grune must have been good friends," she commented.
The panther only glanced at her then turned, "Were."
Aideen nodded as she looked ahead, "being betrayed by the one person you thought you could trust is hard."
"How do you know?" he asked.
Aideen reopened her book, "because I know what thats like. Thats one thing we have in common," she said as she remembered the day she had spend with her best friend.
\\Aideen's flashback/
Aideen stared at Julie as she swinged on the swing. Julie stopped as she got off and walked towards her friend, "Why are you staring so much?" she asked.
Aideen tilted her head, "Why don't you ever smile?" she asked a question of her own.
The blond hair girl blanked, "What do you mean?"
"You always give a smile but not a bright one. You always look sad as if theres something you're hiding." Aideen then looked at her with a serious expression, "what's wrong?"
Julie looked away. Her friend maybe a little kid but she knew when something was wrong. "Its nothing, really I'm fine," she replied.
Aideen gave her a smile and bumped her shoulder with her. "Were friend Julie, no matter what," the young girl said. She then stood up and took out two ring; one was white with a black dot and the other was black with a white dot. "Here pick one," she said. Julie grabbed the black ring leaving Aideen the white one.
Julie smiled and put her ring on, she then turned towards the small girl. "This two rings means were friends."
Aideen shook her head, "Nope, this means were like sister. Remember ying and yang. I need you and you need me, that what my mother says they mean."
Julie looked at her ring and gave a sly smile, "Just like darkness and light."
\'\\'\'\\'\''\'\'\'\'\'
"you always need someone to help you," Julie said as she pushed her blond hair behind her. She looked at Aideen with hate and jealousy.
"Just leave me alone! Is that to hard for you to understand?" Aideen replied back. They stood a few feet away from the rest of their classmates. As it was time for lunch and Aideen has thought about eating outside with Isa. As she waited she was approached by her once best friend. The surprising thing though was that she was all alone.
"Oh Aideen you'll never learn, will you?" Julie said as she gave a pitiful look. "You'll always need someone there to help you. Poor little weak, useless girl."
Aideen clenched her fist, "You can say whatever you want, but in the of the day the one who is bitter and can never change, is you." She turned around and left.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
By midday, the cats and human had gotten close to the mountain. They hid behind the tall grass.
Panthro looked through his telescope checking out the entrance to the mountain. "Thats the access tunnel we need to get to," he said a she summed in and check the lizards guard. He put his telescope down and turned to the other side. "Doesn't look to heavily guarded," he informed.
Lion-O looked ahead then turned towards the older cat, "I say we take 'em down!" he said.
Aideen looked up from her book as she was next to the young king. The human looked ahead and thought about the possibilities of fighting now and fighting later.
"We'll wait for darkness," panthro stated. He got up and left with the others.
Lion-O clenched his hand and looked to the side, "Whos in charge here?!" the young king mutter.
Aideen looked at him as he smiled. "Oh no! Lion-O what are you planing?" she whispered as he turned towards him.
The lion turned toward her, then turned stood up. "Come on," he said. Aideen stayed there then stood up and followed the lion king.
'Damn it! I swear if he get me kill, I will get him for this' she thought. They went to the side of the mountain, Aideen looked around making sure they were the only ones, but for some reason she knew they weren't. 'A mountain full of fuel, if that's what thundrilium is, should be guarded. Theres no way they would just….' she thought then realises something was up. "Wait!" she called out for the lion but was too late. She waited in the shadows as the lion knocked out the two guard.
"Gues old Panthro underestimated the lord of the thundercats," lion-O said as he was kneeled down. He looked up and noticed himself surrounded by more lizards guards. "Whiskers."
Aideen stood by the bushes calculating what her she could do to free the lion. 'Ah! If only he had thought this through,' she thought then took out her knife.
Lion-O stood up, "Drop your weapons!" he order but they didn't listen, "please?"
"Kill him!" one of the lizards order. Just as the Lizards said that he was on the floor with the human girl behind her. She threw her knife just as one of the lizards was about to fire his gun toward him. Aideen turned and began to fight the lizards close to her. She then got out of the way as Panthro used his nunchucks to knock all of the lizards. Finishing them in seconds.
The girl stood to the side as she looked at the panther, "Wow," was all she could say. She turned towards the two cats that came toward them. Soon they stood next to the human as she looked in between the older cat and the younger king.
"What is wrong with you?!" panthro demanded.
"Me?" the young king said, "I gave and order! You ignored it!" Lion-O snapped. They both glared at one another.
Aideen stared at from one cat to the other. She sigh as Cheetara and Tygra ran toward the lion while the human stayed where she was.
"He is the king now, Panthro," Cheetara said.
"So that means I've got to listen to any idiotic order he gives me?" panthro snapped.
"I guess all the stories of your undying loyalty were exaggeration," the young king said.
Panthro looked at the lion, "You'll have my loyalty when you show me you can do more with that sword than just carry it around," he replied.
Aideen walked up toward them, "Okay thats enough," she intercede as she looked at them. "What's done is done, if we stand here any longer well get caught. Its best if we get the thundrillium and get out of here." The cats nodded and panthro began to lead the way. Aideen stayed with lion-O, she touched his arm, "Are you alright?"
The lion stared ahead, "yeah, fine," he replied as he began to walk away.
Aideen shook her head then fallowed.
They walked thru the tunnel, on their way sow a hug machine that as unused. They looked straight ahead until they got to the end of the tunnel. They hide within the shadows and looked down. Lion-O's eyes widen, "thundrillium."
Aideen stared at the crystals, "thats thundrillium?!" she said in disbelief.
They watched as the lizards filled metal wages with crystals. "Enough to power thousands of thunder-tanks for a thousand years," panthro commented. Aideen stared in disbelief as there was so many crystals.
They looked ahead and noticed the one cat that betrayed his own species. Panthro looked at him, "Grune."
\\flashback/
The two old friend walked out of thundera, they were waved goodbye by the nobles and soldier. Their king stood at the doorstep seeing them off.
Panthro turned to his friend, "See? this isn't to bad," he said. "You're already a legend!"
"Legend," grune said, "if we returned with the book will be treated as gods."
They soon departure. They climbed over mountain over in snowy conditions. Travel thru forest and were chased by large creature, that turned into their meal. Within time Grune became frustrated.
They both sat under a giant leaf to cover themselves from the rain. "This is a waste of time! Were out here chasing a myth," Grune said.
"Were out here in serves to our king!" Phanthro replied as he glanced toward Grune. "Our role is not to question his orders. But to fol-"
"Don't be a fool, panthro"Grune interrupted, "Claudus knows there's no book. He feared my ambition! This impossible quest is to rid me from his kingdome!"
"Thats crazy, Grune! Listen to yourself!" Panthro protested. Grune turned with hateful expression.
\\\\\\\\\\\\''''\'''\\'\
Both cats slept on the sand floor. The ashes of a burn fire next to the saber cat.
'come to me' Grune heard making him wake up. "the power you seek awaits you."
"What?! who said that?!" the sober said waking the panther up.
"No one said anything," Panthro replied, "Are you okay?"
'Come' the voice said again.
"There! I heard it again," Grune said as sweat ran down his face. He stood up and began to ran toward whoever the voice belong to. Panthro following right behind.
"Come to me"
|||||||'\'\'\'\'\\
Both soldiers walked thru the desert, one of them hypnotized by the voice. Panthro followed Grune. "Where are you taking us?" panthro question, "we've been walking for days! We need to turn back, or we'll die!"
"Were here," Grune announced.
"Where were?" Panthro asked as he looked at the sand tornado that was in front of them. Panthro took a step back as he looked as the tornado vanished and was replace by a pyramid.
Grune extended his arms and began to laugh evilly.
{end}
They watched as Grune picked as crystal up and stared at it. Panthro looked at the others, "we move on my lead. Got it?" he said as he move inside the tunnel.
Lion-O looked his way then frowned, Aideen knew right away what that looked meant. Instead of following the lion king she turned and decided to follow her instinct. She turned and when the same way the panther went. She then turned another way, she used the shadows to stay out of sight. She smiled when a lizards went past her but did not detect her.
The lizards took a wagon full of thundrillium and went inside a dark tunnel. Just as he walked in Cheetara ran to him and knocked him out of the tunnel. Two lizards walked in to inspect the tunnel, slowly. They were both greeted by Tygra, who had turned invisible. He growled and punched one of the lizards to the wall. The other he threw out the tunnel getting the attention of the other lizards that were waiting outside. They walked in and Lion-O came out of the shadows and cut the gun the lizard had in half, making it explode.
This caught the others lizards and Grunes attention. Along with Aideen who head in the shadows. She cover her eyes and shook her head, 'he is going to get us killed,' she thought.
The three thundercats came out of the shadows and stood in front of the sabertooth.
"Thundercats," Grune laughed, "fools! You brought the sword right to me. And now you'll never make it out of here alive."
"They will," a voice said behind Grune naming him wide his eyes and turned to see Panthro behind him. "I just can't say the same for you."
The human girl stood next to the tiger unnoticed to them. "What did i miss?" she asked startling the others.
They turned her way, "When did you get here?" Tygra asked.
Aideen glanced at them then turned back to the two older cats. "About a minute ago," she answered.
Both soldiers stared at one another as the others stood on the sideline. "You've always been hard to kill, Panthro," Grune said.
"I can be stubborn when it comes to dying," Panthro replied.
"This isn't going to end well, is it?" Cheetara said.
"Nope," replied Tygra and Aideen.
"It never goes well when two old friends meet again," Aideen said as she stared at the two.
"Now let see," began panthro, "When was the last time I saw you,"
\\flashback/
'Come to me' the voices whispered as both cats stood to the side of the pyramid.
Grune looked at the pyramid, "Hes waiting for use inside."
"Whos waiting for us?" panthro asked as the saber began to climb. "Whats going on?!" He judged towards the pyramid and notices grune stop climbing.
The sabercat touched a part of the pyramid making a line out line a circle and sink in. Soon redlines began to form around the pyramid. Some Lighting coming between them as they cover the whole pyramid. A small triangle shaped door then opened. "How did you do that?!" panthro exclaimed.
Grune ran inside in desperation and didn't wait for panthro as he was climbing in. 'closer. closer' the voices repeated.
Seeing his friend run Panthro followed him. "Grune! Wait!" Panthro yelled.
Grune walked in to the main room panting. He walked up the stairs and stared at the metal coffin that dropped from the ceiling. 'open it' the voices order, 'Open it and I will grant you the limitless power you desired! The power you deserve!' Grune began to move toward the metal coffin. Once close enough he tried to open the doors.
Panthro looked at his friend, "We shouldn't be here."
Grune use all his forces to try and open the coffin. His eyes widen as if he had gone crazy, "Can't you hear it?!"
'Release me!' the voice yelled.
The sabertooth used both hands to open the door, air began to seep out. He grit his teeth, then the door opened throwing him back. And a cloud of smoke seeped out, surrounding the main room. Grune looked at what was inside the coffin, "Mumm-Ra."
Mumm-ra lift his head his hood covering the others view. He walked out of the coffin and made his way towards the two cats. "It can't be" Panthro said in disbelief. The moved back as the mummy walked towards the pool of water.
"Your loyalty will be rewarded," the mummy said then turned towards a dark corner. "Yours to, witch." Out of the shadows a woman clocked with black came out.
She walked toward them and kneeled down to the mummys feet. She put her hand on her heart, "My loyalty belong to you, my lord," she said.
He then turned toward the water in the middle and the female stood up. "Something was taken from he long ago and going to help me get it back!" he said then lift his hand up and the water began to glow. The water projected the image of a sword with a cat red cat eye at the center.
"The sword of Omens," Panthro said.
Grune turned to him, "Join us, Panthro. Together we can rule all of thundera."
"What had he done to you?" the panther asked.
"He has promised me the means to do what I've always dreamed of," the saber replied.
Panthro crouched down, "I can't let you do this," he stated then grabbed his weapon and tried to hit him. Grune moved out of the way and began to swing his mace. They soon began to fight, Grune swinged his mace while Panthro dodged.
"I am your friend," Panthro tried to reason but the saber did not listen.
"You are my enemy!" Grune hit him, throwing him of the edge of the plate form. Into a dark hole. Mumm-ra, with the other two, stood on the top laughing.
{end}
Panthro stared hard at Grune, "We sure have great memories together!" the panther began. "You betrayed me, Grune! Your betrayed your brothers! All those death and you're still not the king."
Grune pointed at Panthro, "Don't lecture me, Panthro. If its revenge you seek then come take it."
"With pleasure," the panther said as he took out his weapon. Aileen ran towards him grabbing his arm.
"No, Panthro. Don't listen to him," Aideen reason. She looked at the panther, "he's trying to get you to do what he wants." The panther looked at her and she looked back.
"Ah the little human girl from before," Grune said getting her attention. "You know a friend wanted me to give you a... gift." A lizard walked close to grunge with an animal in his hands. Grunge grabbed the creature and threw it to his side. The snake hissed and stood straight.
Aileen stared wide eye as the snake began to take a different shape. She let go of Panthros hand and became pale as a human girl with blond hair stood in front of her, one she knew to well. "J-j-julie," the girl stutter. Her once best friend, the girl who she trusted and was betrayed by, stood right in front of her.
The blond hair girl smirked, "hello, Aideen."
Aideen narrowed her eyes as she looked at the other human girl, who was dressed all in black. "What ad you doing here?" Aideen demanded.
Julie laughed, "aren't you happy to see friend."
"Perhaps I would be. If there was a friend to see," the brown-red hair girl replied. Both girls stared at one another while the thundercats stared at them in confusion.
Julie waved her hand, "Oh but we've known each other send we were ten. We are the best of friend don't you remember." She stared hard at Aideen with hatred, then smirked. "How about we go somewhere else after all we don't want to... Get others involve in out little reunion." Aileen starred in confusion until Julie ran toward her. As she grabbed the other girl they were the surrounded by black smoke.
"Aideen!"The other thundercats yelled as the smoke clear with no sight of the two human girls. Then the mountain began to shake.
"What is that?" Cheetara said.
"The only thing you can trust," Grune said as an o next came from the ground. "A machine" the robot machine stood in front of them.
Aideen was pushed to the side as the smoke cleared. She stood up, after having fallen down, or pushed down. She looked at the other girl, "what do you want? I doubt you want to talk."
Julie smile banished, " I hope you remembered what I told you back then. I will make you fear me. And now I will do just that." She then ran towards her.
"How can I not remember," Aideen mutter as she waited for the girl to come.
\\Aideens flashback/
Aideen stold surrounded by her friends, or who she thought were friends. They were all by an old water wale, that was currently uncover and unlocked. The forest surrounded them and not letting anyone see what the teen's were doing.
Julie stood in front of her, her hands on her hips. Her head was held high, "I told you to get out of the way, Aideen."
Aideen crossed her arms, "and I told you, that whatever Zane wanted was his problem not mine. Now leave me alone," she said as she began to walk away but was something stoped as one of her friends stood in her way. "Move, Lily."
TThe girl looked hesitant as she stared at Aideen, but the look Julie was giving her made her think twice about moving.
"You just can't do anything about your self," Julie said making her turn. "I mean look at you. You have no one that like you. The only people you have are your brothers and I'm sure even they are getting fire of you. Zane even told me what a pain you were."
"Zane would never say that," she defended.
Julie laughed, "oh please of course he would. Your just pathetic and lonely. He said it was a pain to have to take care of you. For him to never be able to leave the house because of your emotional problems. He's fire , I know for sure I would be. I mean your worthless, useless. Even Jason left you," she said then shook her head. "Oh but poor Aideen can't do anything on her own. You'll never be loved."
Aideen clinched her hands into fist. She didn't want Julie to get what she wanted but words hurt more when they are told by the person you thought you could trust. She tried to not let the tears fall as the people surrounding her began to repeat what Julie had said.
"Shut up!" She yelled as she cover her ears. She turned and began to push past the people. She felt a hand behind her trying to pull her back as the others locked her way.
"You Wil always run. But no matter what you want will never happen. You will never be happy, because your worthless," Julie said.
Aideen turned fast and punched the other girl on her face. Julie stood on the ground a hand on her cheek. Aideen stood in front of he, "I may be worthless, useless as you say but you," she pointed to the girl, "you will always be bitter. I rather be alone and to be with someone like you." She then turned and began to walk away.
Julie grit her teeth as she walked watched the girl walk away. No one ever spoke to her like that and she was not a out to let someone like, Aideen, talk to her like that. She got up fast and ran toward the girl. Aideen turned just as she was pushed, she thought she was about to fall on the ground until her foot found the back hollow.
The other teen's watched as their once friend fell in the old wale. Julie stood patting as she looked down inside the wale. "Julie what are you doing!"Lily said as she watched the girl stand there looking down.
Aideen groaned as she sat up, she looked up as Julie. "You will pay," Julie said before she closed the wooden door and locked it.
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\
Aileen had been in the wale for about three days and no one hand found her. She remembered the word Julie had said about her brother and now she wandered of she was right. Was she really a bother to them? Was that why they had not found her? She rest her head to the of the wall. The girl was tire, hungry and cold. She closed her eyes that not reopened then when she began to hear rain drops. She looked up and realized it was raining, and hard. She tried to ignore the sound of the rain and closed her eyes. She felt something wet by her feet making her stand up. The water was coming in and she was stuck inside a wale that was dogged deep. "Help!" She yelled as the water began to rise. No one heard her. She began to panicky as the water raised. Soon the water was an above her shoulders she yelled hopping someone would hear her but the water began to rise. Aideen the let the tears she was holding fall as she was underwater.
{End}
"Destroy them, driller" Grune order as he then ran away. "Untill next time, Panthro" he yelled from over his shoulder.
"Grune!" Panthro yelled as he tried to get to the saber but was blocked by the machine. Panther attacked the machine but was throw to the side by it. The driller then began to drill holes around the cats making them unable to predict were he was coming from. They stayed quote as they tried to listen to it. Soon the driller appears from behind them.
Lion-O ran toward it, "thunder," he said as he took out his sword. "Thunder" the sword began to extended to it full length. "Thundercats, ho!" he raised it above his head, red light and thunder coming out of it. He ran toward the driller that was coming his way. They clashes ending in different directions. They then turned towards one, the driller used it head drill to try an drill threw the sword as lion protected himself with it. The lion used his strength to push the driller aback but that machine would not move to far.
"Now that what I call impressive" pantheon said as he watched. Red light and thunder seeped threw the sword as they lion finally managed to pushed the machine way then cut hit driller finishing him in the process. The cave then began gang to shake as rocks fell from the ceiling braking every machine that was inside.
"The driller weakened the mine!" Tygra yelled.
The ran towards the exit until lion-O looked back, "Wheres Aideen?!"
"I'm sure she's outside," Panthro said. The lion looked back but then ran toward the exit hoping his friend was outside.
"We need to go. Now" Tygra said as rocks fell from around them.
Cheetara turned and used her speed to get back inside that cave. From one of the wagons she grabbed a few crystals, "Not without this stuff." She then used her speed to get back to her friends
Aideen fought with Julie, she used her knife to block all her wipes. Once close enough she punched her in the stomach that not kicked her to them side. She did a flip back as they girl tried to swinger at her again. Aideen wasn't fast enough to stop the wipe that hit her side. She fell to the side, once she saw Julie getting ready to hit her she looked rolled to the side the kicked her feet. Standing up quick she grabbed a her knife just as the other girl stood up.
"You'll pay for that," Julie hissed. Just as both girls got ready to fight again the mountain began to shake. They looked towards add the mountain and noticed some of the side evening to brake. Julie cursed under breath then turned and began to run away, " This isn't over!" She yelled over her shoulder.
Aideen stared at the girl go. The turned and when to find her friends.
The thundercats watched from the hills as the mountain exploded from the sides. "Well, that will slow Mumm-Ran's army for awhile" Lion-O said.
"I guess so far the sword wound up in the right hands after all" Panthro commented as the young king turned to him. "I've served him proudly and you can expect the same" he promised.
Lion-O turned towards him, "So you think whe we get the thunder-tank fix, I can drive it?" He asked.
Panthro looked at him with a serious expression, "Not a chance… My king" he said as he gave a small smile.
"Well glade you two get along now," Aideen said from behind them. The thunders turned towards the human girl.
"Aideen" Lion-O said as he ran towards the human.
"Hey. Woo you got thundrilium?" She asked.
"Yea, cheetara got to it in time," Tygra said as he got close to her with the other right behind her. "So what happen to your friend?"
Aideen looked away, "she's not my friend, not anymore." She shook her head then looked at her, "anyways what I'm I suppose to do with this?" She asked as she showed them a small bag that was fill with crystals.
"When did you get that?"Panthro asked in disbelief.
The human girl smile, "when lion-O was fighting with the lizards. My mother always told me to blend with the shadows and that's what I did. They didn't notice me at all."
Ghagra looked at the girland asked the question he had been wondering about. "Aideen, was she the one that betrayed you? Is that why you can't trust other?"
They watched as the humans smile banished. She closed her eye and nodded her head, "yes, that's her. We knew each other send we were kids."
What did she do to you?" The young king asked.
"I don't want to talk about it," she answer quickly. Making the other worry.
"okay then why was she here?" The tiger asked.
"To remind me of unpleasant things. And my guess is this won't be the last time all see her."
