Hello everyone! Just wanted to say sorry for not updating but I got sick for about a week and a half.

Journey to the tower of Omens
Brown eyes stared at the white clouds. His eyes frowned, so far he had found nothing no sight of Titania or his mothers friends. The only ones he knew and was able to meet the day he came were Keli and Shila. The Snowshoe cat and husky dog. Other than those two he had not been able to the find the others. Aside from that, everyday that passed his worried for his little sister grew. She may be capable of taking care of herself, but even he knew she had fear. The only thing he didn't know was what they were.
Aideen had always been the type of girl to worry about other, but she never let other worried about her. She use to tell her brothers everything but after sometime she stop telling them everything. As she grew up she became closed and showed less emotion, unless it was family. Both brothers became worried, especially when she almost died.
He could never forget that day. He clenched his hand into fist as he remembered the day they found their sister locke in an old wale, almost dead.
\\flashback/
They had looked everywhere. All over town, threw the forest, but found nothing. It had been three days and no one found anything. They consider her a runaway, but her brothers knew better. She would never leave those she truest and love.
Zane had become frustrated. And that was a first for the older brother. He was more collective and less reckless. He always kept his head clear but when it came to their family member or the person he loves. He just…. lost all of his calmness. Most of the time he would stay calm and think of the situation and how to solve the problem. But at that moment his mind was cloud with worried.
Neither of the brothers would give up on finding their sister. And once Isa found out what happen neither would she. But Xander and Zane knew she had an Idea of who had done this. They asked if she knew but she just looked at them and shook her head. With Isa they never knew if she was lying or not.
On the third night they had decided to follow to search the forest once again. They shouted her name again and again but still no response. As they search it began to rain, hard.
"We need to go back. Its raining too hard!" Xander yelled over the rain.
Zane turned and looked at his brother, "No! I am not leaving without finding Aideen!" He turned and began to walk away as he shouted his name. 'I can't! I can't lose her either!' the boy thought as he looked around the forest.
Xander looked as his brother ran farther in. He also worried about his sister but if they got sick, they would not be able to keep searching the next day. He then shook his head, 'no we will find her' he thought.
Isa touched his arm making him turn, "don't worry, Xander. I know Aideen, she will never give up no matter what."
The boy nodded. The three teens kept searching and the rain would not light up, it just kept pouring.
"Xander! Zane!" they heard Isa call, "I found something! I need your help!"
Both boys ran towards the sound of their cousin. As they got where she was, they both saw Isa trying to open a door on the floor. It was the old wale. It had not been use in a long time, after the water had dried down. But when it ran, the wale became full.
"Isa what's wrong?!" Zane asked.
The girl looked at them her dark brown hair cover her face. With her hand she moved her wet hair way. "I wanted to check the old wale. At first it was my first option but I didn't really think someone would open. I came to check again and found the lock on but what was strange was that it wasn't rusty but brand new." She turned back and began to pick the lock. Once open Zane grabbed his flashlight and dived in. Both older teens waited for Zane.
Zane came out and took a deep breath, "Help me! Its Aideen!" he yelled. Isa and Xander helped the older boy lift the unconscious girl up. Then began to do CPR. Aideen awoke as she spit water out. Then fainted again. "We need to get her to the hospital" Zane order as he lift his sister.
Xander stood and was about to ran when he turned to Isa. "What are you doing? Aren't you coming?!" he asked. Isa stood up straight and look at him anger in her eyes.
"You go! I have something to do" she replied as she began to walk away.
Xander grabbed her arm, "Do you know who did this?!"Isa looked at him not saying anything but he knew as he looked at her eyes. She knew who did this and she was not going to stand and let them get away with hurting someone she cares about. Especially when they are family. "What are you going to do?"
"I will make them pay for what they did to Aideen" was all she said before running to the opposite direction.
Xander didn't want to worry about what she was going to do. A such, he ran the same way his brother had left.
{end}
After that day, Aideen began to share less about her feelings. Both brothers became worried and when they asked her who had done it. She would lie to them and tell them she didn't know. They know she was lying, after all they were her brothers.
Xander sigh as he closed his eyes, then reopened them. He need to focus, as he was flying a jet. A hand touch his shoulder making him turn and look at the hockey dog.
"I know you're worried about Aideen but you need to focus," she said as she sat next to him.
Xander nodded his head and looked ahead, "I know but I can't help but worried about her."
"Aideen will be fine. She is a strong girl."
"I know," the boy replied. His expression turned sad and worried, "I'm just worried how she will be, emotionally, when this is all over."
Aideen rest her head on her knee as she sat in between Panthro and Tygra. She, along with the rest of the thundercats, sat on the thunder-tank and watched as lion had his sword in front of him. She closed her eyes and let her mind drift. Her mind was clouded with questions as to why Julie- out of all the people she knew- had to be here. She didn't want to see her and she was most likely going to make her life miserable. No matter what she did, it seemed as Julie would never leave her alone. Not even when she was in another planet. The girl sigh catching the rests attention.
"You know, you've been very quiet lately," the Tyger observed. "This isn't like you."
Aideen just shrugged, "Yeah, well I have a lot on my mind."
Panthro glanced at her, "Those this have to do with that girl you meet back at the mountain?" he asked.
The human girl opened her eyes, sadness held within them. She sigh, "yeah, part of it. I've just been wondering about my brother and my mother. And now I have this problem to deal with."
"It may help if you tell us what happen between the two," Cheetara suggested.
Aideen closed her eyes and shook her head. "Sorry, I rather not remembered." The last thing she wanted was to share some of her painful memories, once she has wanted to forget. She opened her eyes, she may have trouble with the thundercats but that did not mean she fully trusted them, with the exception of Tygra. "Besides, we have a book to find."
They looked at the girl then turned back to look at the lion king. "Jagus and your mothers clues have gotten us this far," Cheetara said.
Aideen nodded, "Now it all up to lion-O to get us the rest of the way."
They watched as he put the sword close to his eyes, "Sword of Omens, give me sight beyond sight" he said as he the side of the swords handle grew around his eyes. His eyes became lighter. What he saw was a fiery color then blackness. He moved them away from his eyes. "Okay. Let's try this again. Sword of Omens, give me sight beyond sight," once again the same thing happen. He saw a light then darkness. The lion groaned, "Come on! Work!"
Panthro looked at Cheetara and Aideen, "Your telling me our only chance of finding the Sword of Omens, is if his sword gives him direction?"
Tygra turned and looked at him, "Its about as hopeless as it sound," he said.
Aideen turned and elbowed him. He growled at her and she glared at him, "Lion-O can get us there," she defended.
Cheetara noded at the girl and added, "He just needs to believe in himself." She then frowned "It might help if you believe in him to."
The tiger turned to look back at his brother. Aideen glanced at Cheetara then sighed. 'Without knowing it she is getting in between the two,' she thought. "Thats true support could help him, " she said as she agreed with the cheetah. "But if he himself can't have the confident he need he'll be an easy target for some to lower his confidence." She then turned and looked at the lion. "Sometimes you just need to believe in yourself without the help of others."
The female looked at the human, "How are you so sure?" she asked making Aideen turn her way.
She stayed silent not wanting to answer. After experiencing the betrayal not only of her best friend Julie, but of her others friends. The human girl started to have trust issues. And because she usually listen to what her friends told her, she tended to get her self confidence lower by them. It was only when she learn to believe in herself instead of relying on other. That she became emotionally strong and was able to do things on her own. She wasn't going to lie and say that she is strong because she did not feel it. But when it came to certain things the girl believed in herself no matter what others said to her. But she still had trust issues.
Panthro looked at the Cheetah, "I have a feeling you shouldn't have asked that."
Aideen closed her eyes and sigh. She reopen then and got down from the thundertank. Stretching her arms above her head, the human girl began to walk away, "I'm going for a walk." They watched her walk away then turned back to look at the lion king.
Lion-O tried once again, "Sword of Omen give me sight beyond sight."
Mumm-Ra looked at Lion-O threw the water, as he held the sword. "It nothing but a rock in your incapable hands." The image then zoomed in on the stone, he extended his hand. "But the stone, your so-called eye of thundera , will be mine." He stared deeply at the water, "I've wrenched it from a far more powerful grip than yours."
In the pyramids main room, stood Mumm-Ra. But he was different, unlike his mummy form, he was tall, muscular, and younger than his mummified form. At the center where water was a hologram was projected. Mumm-Ra looked at the hologram until in shrinked and a Tiger was shown and the screen behind the hologram.
"The ground forces have nearly reached the cannon, lord Mumm-Ra" the tiger reported.
Mumm-Ra looked at the tiger, an older Lion stood next to him as he listen to the tiger. "Destroy anything that keeps you from the war stone, captain Tygus," the mummy order.
Spaceship stood outside the red planet as they had been waiting for orders. Once inside the planet, the cats spaceship began to battle against the planets species. As some spaceships came closer the planets tower shot the a big laser towards them. Those who were close to the laser exploded.
Tygus flew avoiding any laser beams that was shot towards his spaceship. He landed on the top of the tower. Once outside his spaceship he walked out and began to shoot the aliens. The war stone was on at the center of the tower. Once tygus finish of the aliens he made his way towards the red stone. Red lighting come out of the stone. The tiger grabbed it making it shrink inside, turning into a square with a cat eye at the center. As tygus left on his ship, the tower crumbled down.
The tiger reported back to Mumm-Ra, "We've procured the war stone, my lord."
The back door opened just as the tiger finish giving the report. A woman with long straight silver hair came in, two humans right behind her. Her eyes were green and help kindness. A small thin silver circlet crown was on her forehead. At the center of the crown was a small silver moon with a stone at the center of it. Some tear diamonds dropped down from the sided and the back. Her light blue dress fight her body perfectly making her look elegant and royalty as she walked. The woman stood behind Mumm-Ra as he gave her a side glance, "How could you?! Do you know what you are doing?!"
"Ah, Behira. Shouldn't you be in your room?" The mummy asked as he looked back at the screen.
Behira glared at the mummy, "You have no idea what you have done."
Mumm-Ra ignored the female as he extended his hand, "At long last, its mine"
Behire clenched her hands as she stared at the mummy frustrated at not being able to do anything to stop him.
()
"And it shall be mine again," Mumm-Ra said as he looked at the water where lion-Os image was reflected. He walked towards his coffin that open as he got on top of the stairs. Bandages came out from within the coffin and wrapped themselves around the mummy, lifting him up and put him inside the coffin. The walls to the side of the coffin open revealing the coffin to be a vehicle. The vehicle drove thru the desert.
"This is dumb," Lion-O growled, "I don't even know what I'm looking for."
"Sometimes," the lion king heard from behind him. Making him turned round and see the cheetah come his way. "When you look to hard, you miss what's right in front of you," the cheetah said.
"Tell me about it," the lion mutter as the cheetah came close to him. He stiffen as she leaned to him from behind.
"If you can muster sight beyond sight, it will show you what your eyes can't see," the cheetah said. She then leaned more towards him and whispered in his ear, "But your mind has to be open. Now, try again and this time relax." She then moved away from him.
Aideen leaned on the tree next to her. She shook her head as she saw what had happen. 'this female. Is going to be trouble for the two brothers,' she thought as she looked at the lion as he closed his eyes.
"Relax," the lion said as he tried to relax, "Ah, got it."
All of a sudden wilykat was in front of the lion, "Whatcha doin?" the kit asked as he startle lion-O.
"Oooh, I know what they were doing," Wilykit said as she began to make kissing sounds.
Lion-O moved back a little, "No," the lion protested, "We were just…. trying to get…. my...sword to work."
As Wilykat came down to the ground from where he was hanging, his sister looked at the lion king in confusion. "Why is this book so hard to find, anyways?" she asked.
"Did they forget where they put it?" said Wilykat.
"In a way, yes" cheetara began to explain. She looked to the side as she retail what happen, "You see, the book of Omens wasn't lost. Rather, it was hidden with the intention it would never be found.
An old cat began to write on a book. "Legend says the book of Omen held both clues to our past and keys to our future. Because some believe it could be even more valuable than the sword of Omens, the other animals would stop at nothing to get it."
The sound of an object hitting the towards door. The old cat looked toward his king that was close to the door. The lion king gave a side glance at the old cleric making the old cat grabbe the book and leave. "The king knew it contained too much power to allow it to fall into the wrong hands." The king stood ready as the door was broken down and different species came into the room.
A red light glowed from the tower, breaking some of the stone walls. A couple of clerics sneaked from behind the castle to try and get away, the older cleric with them. "So he had the cleric hide it far beyond the kingdom's walls, far beyond anywhere the cats have ever been." The clerics ran on through a snow bridge. They came upon a waterfall, "To keep it safe, they build a tower, one made with magic. The tower of Omens was inaccessible to anyone but themselves and protected by ancient enchantment." The shadow of the building showed as the building was made. The clerics then stood inside the in a circle the book in between them, "They then sealed themselves into the tower forever."
Cheetara looked back at them, "Its location would be a secret they took to their graves."
Aideen frowned. She knew, from her mother's journal, how powerful the book was. But even in her mother's book the talk of another book even more powerful that the book of omens exist. The question now was, if the other species knew where to find the book and why they went after the book of Omen instead of that one book.
Aideen walked towards the cats just at Panthro along with Tygra made their way towards them. "Thats why Grune and I knew we'd probably never find it," Panthro said.
"True," Aideen began, "But my mother was able to find it."
This made them turn her way. "I thought your mother had found the tower not the book," cheetara said.
Aideen tilted her head to the side, "No, she found the book." This made the thundercats stare at her in disbelief. They had thought her mother had found her way toward the tower but did not enter. They didn't think she had gone in and found the book.
"Why didn't you tell us before," the Tyger asked.
Aideen sight, "Because she didn't say how she found the door. Not even a clue did she leave behind." The human shrugged, "All I know, after giving the clues to how to get here, is that she along with a cat she travel with, found the book but they left it where they found it. Saying it was not for them to find."
"So we have to just get lucky and hope to stumble onto it?" Tygra said as he looked at the human girl, who just gave a small shrugged.
The human girl turned as she hear a light grounding, who she knew must belong to the small cat. She turned and walked toward him as he began to pull on the fruit. "What are you doing?" Aideen asked as she stood below snarf. As he pulled the fruit the rest fell down revealing a heading lion head. "Um…."
The rest turned toward the human girl who was pointing toward the lion head. "Maybe we just did," the lion said referring to what his brother had said. He walked toward the wall full of vines and pulled them away revealing a passage.
Aideen stood right behind him along with Cheetara. "How on earth did we miss that?" Aideen asked as she looked at the entrance.
"I guess sometimes, when you look to hard, you miss what's right in front of you" the lion said as he looked toward the human girl making her raise an eyebrow but gave a small smile. He then looked up at the tree branch, "Nice work, Snarf." He then finish pulling the vines and walked in followed by the human and cheetah. Snarf meowed then jumped down and was catched by wilykit.
Aideen couldn't help put stared in awe as they enter the temple. She was not scare about the huge needles in the floor. She was rather amazed at how well they made the temple. If there was one thing she loved more was history, and a temple like this one recked of it.
They walked along the path until they came upon a huge lion head with its mouth as the door. The thundercats looked down as they walked along the path toward the door. Both kits along with snarf stoop and got close to the age to look down at the huge needles. Aideen stayed with them to make sure they didn't fall. "Don't worry as long as you don't get too close everything will be alright," she assured the kits.
Will the human stayed with the kits, the lion king tried to open the door was unable to. He looked down and notice a key hole, turning around he a wry slime to the cheetah. "Think they left the key behind?" he asked.
His brother came and put a hand on his shoulder then pointed to the ceiling, "Actually they left a few," he said. The all looked at the ceiling and sow a keys hanging from a string.
"Well just have to try them all," cheetara said as she extended her staff and dropped a few keys.
"This could take forever," commented panthro.
Aideen stared at the bottom of the floor not really paying attention to the rest but the kits. Aideen kneeled down and tilted her head, something about this place seemed familiar as if she had read about something like this. "You know," she said to the kitts making them turned toward her, "this reminds me of a book I read. Where two people go in search of a treasure and walked into a temple. But they had to be careful because it was full of…." Aideen stopped talking as she realised why the situation seemed so familiar. She turned toward the others just at Cheetara inserted the key to the keyhole. "Wati!" she said but was too late as the female cat turned the key.
They hear creaking sound. The cheetah looked at the door but found it still closed. She then turned around and stood straight. "I don't think we have forever," the tiger said as they turned to looked toward the entrance to the temple.
'oh, come on!' Aideen thought as she sow the path they had just walked and were standing on became smaller and closer toward them. Aideen stood fast and pulled the two gasping kits as they ran toward the rest of the thundercats. Just as they got toward them the path retreated to the bottom of the door. They fell down but were able to grab on to one another as panthro grabbed on to the small piece of platform that stuck out from the bottom of the door. Wilykat had grabbed onto panthros shoulder. Cheetara had grabbed on to the panthers knew, Lion-O and Aideen had grabbed on to a piece of his clothe and were supporting each other as the lion king hadn his hand around her waist. And for some reason, as soon as she noticed the position the two were in Aideen gave a small blush. Tygra had grabbed onto his brothers ankle with snarf on his hand, while wilykit had grabbed onto his side.
Lion-O looked down to the side, "whiskers…" he mutter.
\\\\\
They dangles close to the ground where the needles were. "Find the key," Panthro grunted as he tried to hold on. But having people hang on to you was not making this easy.
Both kits climbed on to the cats as they made their way toward the door. "Live this to the masters," wilykat said as his sister nodded, they then began to climb on panthro.
"Hurry! There's hundred to pick from," Lion-O said.
Aideen looked up, "Forget the keys! Do you know how to pick a lock? It will be easier" she said making the lion king turned to her. She looked at him, "What? you never pick a lock before?" She looked back up just as Kit stepped on panthros face to help her brother reach the lock. 'well that looks uncomfortable' she thought.
"Of course," answer kit Aideens question, "After all why waste time with a key.."
"When you could just pick the lock?" kat finish his sisters sentence. The listen as he tinker with the keyhole. He hired the of clink and gave a smile as the door opened. The two kits got inside followed by Tygra, who was still holding Snarf. The cheetara, followed by Lion-O who held Aideen by her waist. The lion let the human go as he and his brother pulled the panther in . The door closing behind them.
They stared at the long hallway that was in front of them. Aideen looked to the side of the wall and noticed the brick walls. She was in thought as the lion began to speak, "The book could be just beyond that wall."
Panthro hand his hand on his chin as he smiled. He took a step forward caching the humans attention. "Wait!" she said as she reached toward the panther stopping him from taking a step forward.
"What is it?!" he asked as they looked at her.
Aideen looked ahead of them, "I think we should be careful. This looks to easy."
"And thats a problem?" he asked.
Aideen looked at him, "Um yeah. It is," she replied. "I mean, do you seriously think the book of Omens, being as powerful as they said it is, would be in a place thats not guarded?" The Human shook her head and crossed her arms, "No, I don't think so. The clerics must have set bobby-traps in this whole place. Perhaps to stop certain people from getting their hand on it."
As she finished the thundercats looked at the hallway differently now wondering if she was right. But panthro was still not convinced.
"I think you're over reacting" he said as he looked down on her.
She raised an eyebrow, "Sure, because the huge spike that almost kill use, and the fact that choosing the wrong key could retrieve the path we were on, was not a clue for us," she said sarcastically. She then moved in front of the panther and kneeled down. She reached forward, towards the brick the cat was about to step on, and pressed it down then moved back quickly as a whirring blade came out spinning rapidly. Thankfully, Aideen had good reflects and was able to dodged the blade. She stood up and looked at the panther who stared at the hallways that was now filled with saws. She raised her eyebrows, "you were saying?"
Cheetara moved next to Aideen, "Legend said the ancient rigged a series of obstacles near the temple meant to keep outsiders away," she informed.
Aideen turned towards her, "You do know, it would have been nice to know that before we walked in the temple."
"Then this whole place is a death trap," Panthro said.
Cheetara looked at the blades then smirk, "Got to move fast," she said as she took a step forward and used her speed to run a cross. She never stopped, to her the blades moved slow. As she ran one of the blades cut her hair making her lose her focus for a second before continuing. She slid on the floor to avoid one of the blades and made it across the room. She stood up and took out her staff, lifting it up and extending it so each end touched one of the bricks that stood out from the others. Once the staff pushed the bricke the circle stone that was behind her moved to the side, revealing a door, and the blades stopped spinning.
The human and thundercats ran across the hall. "Nice work," Lion-O said as he gave her a thumbs up. They all walked threw the door once they past the cheetah retrieve her staff and ran after them. The door closed behind her with the circle stone going back in place.
In the forest, a light is seen shine among the trees. A group of lizard with their machines were in the middle of the forest. Slith looked as the light deemed, he turned back to look at the lantern that held Juga. "you've been leading us in circle!" the general said with annoyance in his voice.
"Nonsense," the old cat said, "Mumm-Ra's spell is too powerful for an old cat like me to fight." He closed his eyes, "I can't help but light the way." The lizard hissed, then lifted the lantern up and was about to smash it when he heard the sound of rumbling making him stop and turn the other way.
From within the trees a vehicle with the shape of a pharaoh's head droved toward them. It speed round the lizard general then stopped. The vehicle lift the head up, then what was the beard of the pharaoh open up. Smoke came out from within, "Careful general," Mumm-Ra said as he came from with the vehicle. "The lantern is as fragile as its withered and duplicitous navigator."
"He doesn't know the way to the temple, master" Slith informed, "He's toying with us."
"No. His mouth lies, but his soul reveals the truth. The books location has been past down through the head clerics from generation," the mummy replied as he looked down at the lizard, who was bowed down with the lantern next to him. Slith turned and looked at the lantern, while jaga looked down. "He simply requires more motivation" the mummy lifted his bony hand, a dark light was shot toward the lantern.
"Force me all you want, but lion-O will have the book long before you reach the temple," he grunted. The lightning was too much for the old cat to handle as he finally gave up. The lantern fell to the ground and the face of the cat disappeared to be replace with a bright light. The mummy used it magic to lift it up, then a light beamed out of it leading the way toward the tower. "You can your army will stay here. Your ineptitude has cost me enough already," Mumm-Ra commanded the lizard as he began to walk away.
Soon the thundercats and human girl walked into a room that had a small pool of water. The walls were high with some bricks sticking to the side. Two lion heads to the side of the walls, a ray of light came out of the lions eyes and reflected into the water.
In all Aideen felt trap. Not in the way were some people feel trap but are able to maintain their calmness. No, Aideen wanted to get out of this place and fast. It reminded her of the water well she was stuck in but without the water.
The thundercats walked in with wilykat and kit walking in front of them. Aideen stayed next to Tygra, her heart began to race fast. She took a deep breath trying to calm herself, this caught the tigers attention as he looked at her.
"Aideen, are you alright?" he asked as he grabbed the girls shoulder.
The human girl shook her head, "No, I'm not. But I will be once I get out of here." The tiger nodded his head then they began to walk closer towards the water.
Wilykat and kit leaned towards the water where gold cones were in a pile. "Look! Treasure!" said wilykit.
"We're rich!" exclaimed wilykat as he put his hand inside the water.
"Wait!" shouted Aideen and Lion-O at the same time but was too late as kat began to grab the coins. Making waves in the water. This in return made the light waver and move away from the lions eyes. Aideen turned and looked at the the wall she saw as the lions eyes turned red. "Oh no," she said as water began to pour in from the lions mouth and sides of the wall.
They all looked around as the water began to rise. Aideen stood frozen in fear as she looked at the water. Her heart began to race faster and her hands began to shake. Lion-O and cheetara began to run toward the brick wall that stucked out of the wall. The lion king turned as he notice the human girl was not following. He called out to her but she would not move. Lion-O frowned and walked towards her.
"Aideen, we need to move," he said as he looked at the human girl. His eyes widen as he saw her shaking, not like the time with the koi fish, this time it was worst. He grabbed her and ran toward the side of the wall.
Aideen closed her eyes and let herself be pulled. She tried to call down but the water rising was not helping her. "Well get out of here," She heard the lion said making her open her eyes and looked at him. He looked at her as he extended his hand to help her climb, "I won't let anything happen to you, trust me" he promise.
Aideen stared at his hand then nodded her head and began to climb with his help. The rest were also trying to climb.
Wilykit was climbing when she sow panthro at a corner shaking his head from side to side. "You okay, panthro?" She asked.
"I never told you guys," he began as he stood up and pressed himself against the side of the wall. He looked at the water in fear, "But I can't swim."
Aideen grabbe onto lion-O's arm, not caring how close they were. She was grateful that she was not alone, and she trust the lion. And at the moment she just wanted to know someone was with her. "Looks like an exit up there," the tiger said as he pointed toward a small opening cover with bars. "Well wait for the water rise and float up there."
Aideen looked to the side and notice panthro trying to stay above the water. She then turned back as the cheetah used her staff to push on the bars but they would not budge. "I can't open it from this side," she heard the cheetah say. She turned back to panthro who was having trouble staying afloat. She bit her lip and closed her eyes. 'Come on Aideen! Forget about your fear. If you don't help panthro he will drown,' she told herself. She let go of Lion-O and made her way towards panthro.
"Aideen," the lion said as he looked at her swimme toward the older male.
The older soldier looked as the human girl swimmed towards him. "I ain't gonna make it, kid" panthro said as he gave up and began to sink into the water.
"Panthro!" Aideen yelled, her fear gone from her mind. She dived into the water, the lion king right behind her. They saw as panthro sinked faster and faster. 'Damnt! I am not going to give up and let someone die! No way!' she thought as she swimmed faster, leaving Lion-O behind.
The king watched as his human friend was ahead of him. He tried to follow but he was running out of breath. He swimmed back up and took a deep breath, "they're gone," he said making the other turned toward him. 'Aideen,' he thought as he had not kept his promise.
Aideen cover her mouth and closed one of her eyes as she was running out of breath. She could see panthro close to her, she reached and grabbe his arm with her free hand. But this resulted on both of them sinking, either way the human girl was too deep to swim back up. And with the panther it would be impossible. They soon reached the bottom and Aideen could feel her strength leaving her from the lack of oxygen. 'Come on!' she thought 'I need air.' Just as she thought that, she moved her hand from her mouth to the side. Making the water moved and for her to take a breath. She waited to feel the water enter her body, like before but the feeling didn't came instead she took a deep breath. The human girls eyes widen at what she just realized, "Wait. I can breath underwater?!" she exclaimed. The panther stared at her as he held his breath. Aideen looked at him, "Oh wait. um…" she thought about what to do. She looked at her hands and got an idea, "Let me try something," she then moved her hands around them making the water disperse around them and allowing them to breath.
The cat took a deep breather then looked at the human, "Why didn't you do that before!" he exclaimed.
She looked to the side, "Um cause… I just…. found out I could do that…" she said hesitantly. She then looked up at the ceiling, "We won't be able to go back up so….. there must be something here to help us go to the other room."
Panthro looked to the side and notice a small door. "I think I found something," he said as he pointed toward the small door.
Aideen nodded, "Good cuz I don't know how long I can hold the water. I haven't exactly…. gotten the hang of my powers, yet." Panthro opened the door just as the water was beginning to surround them again. "Um... take a deep breath," she said just as they were both under water again. Thankfully though they had a way out.
They went thru a tunnel that lead them towards a door, panthro pushed the door open sending it to the side. They both came out from a hole in the wall. They would be breathing heavy if it wasn't for the fact that they had breath air a couple of seconds ago. The headed the grunting of the other thundercats and ran towards them. Panthro removed the iron bar and looked at the cats.
"Panthro! Aideen, you're alive," Wilykit said.
The rest came out from the water. "Guess not being able to swim had it advantages," Panthro said.
Aideen gave a sigh making the lion turn toward her, "Are you alright?" he asked.
She nodded, "Yeah its just….. I never thought Isa would be right. Guess you do learn something about yourself when you are in a dangerous situation."
"What do you mean?" Tygra asked.
"I can breath under water," she replied as the others stared at her. "I guess its because of the power I have with water."
"At least you're alright," The lion king said with a smiled to which the human girl gave a small smile. The king then pointed towards the rooms entrains, "Who wants to bet that leads to the temple?" He ran towards it while the others looked at each other then fallowed. As they walked out there was no temple only the sight of a waterfall. They stood on a cliff with no path towards the waterfall.
Lion-O stare angrily at the sight before them, "Theres nothing here! All those traps just to protect more jungle?! Maybe no one can find this temple because it doesn't exist." He said as he clenched his fist.
Aideen frowned, just as the cheetah was about to talk , the human walked to stand next to the young king. "Thats not true," she said, "my mother found the book. Maybe it just takes more than getting past physical traps to find it." She then grabbed his clenched fist and looked at him in the eye, "You need to believe in yourself," she then gave a smile, " I believe in you." His expression soften as he looked at her and gave a nodded.
He unchield his sword as the human girl moved away. He then he held it in front of him, "Sword of Omens, give me sight beyond sight," he commanded. The side of the sword extended and curled around the kings eyes. Unlike the last time, the sword image showed a small brick lever under them. His eyes widen, as the sword went back to it original form. "There's a switch," he said as he kneeled down and looked down to make sure he was right. Down below on the cliff was a small stone, like the ones that stopped the blades and open the door for them. He tried to reach for it but it was far from them, "I can't reach it."
Tygra pulled out his whip, "Allow me," he said as he snapped his whip. The bottom hit the switch making it zoom in. The waited and heard a small rumbling sound. They turned towards the waterfall that was in front of them. A stone cats face came out from within, an archway was made from the stones the head was attach to. The waster moved to the side revealing a tower that was made into the wall behind the waterfall. Moss and vines cover part of it, from being behind the water for too long. A stone path was formed right in front of them, from stones that were lifted up.
"The tower of omens," Lion-O said as they stared at the tower ahead of them. They wasted no time and walked towards the tower, then made their way inside.
"I can't believe i finally found it," Panthro said as they walked in. Aideen looked around the place. She was amazed by the tower and how it was built. "I guess all it took was the right partners," he looked at the thundercats and human girl as they kept walking.
Like the outside the wall of the inside were cover in vines. While at the center stood a pillar with wood, that was cover in moss, sticking out from the sided making a stairway. "The book must be up there," Tygra said as they looked at the top of the tower.
Aideen looked up then at the stares. She raised an eyebrow in question, 'I really hope we can climb that and not slip and fall,' she thought. 'the power the book holds' she heard the voices warn. 'will attract though who wish to have it' 'darkness is here,' the human girl looked around wondering what they were talking about.
Cheetara turned toward the lion, "You did it, Lion-O."
"Indid, he did," a cold voice said from behind him. They turn to see Mumm-Ra standing there with a lantern that held the old cleric. "And it will be the last thing he ever does," he held the lantern for them to see.
"I led him right to you," the old cat said with regret in his voice, "I'm sorry."
The cheetah looked at the lantern in disbelief, "Jaga you're alive."
Mumm-Ra chuckled, "Hardly. He's nothing but a vapor in a jar, and I have little use for him now," he said then threw the lantern.
Aideen looked at what was happening and weighed her options. She could; go to the top of the tower and get the book before the mummy could or stay and help but let Mumm-Ra get ahead of her. The human closed her eyes and ran toward the stairs without getting the mummies attention. She needed to trues in her friends and that they would be alright.
"No!" Lion-O yelled. Cheetara used her speed to grabbe the lantern before it hit the ground. She manage to grabbe the lantern just seconds before it hit the ground. Unfortunately, this made the mummy growl as the cheetah laid on the ground the mummy raised his hand and a beam of energy was blasted toward the female that laid on the ground. As the blast hit, she was thrown to the pillar with the lantern in her hands. "Cheetara!" the lion was ready to help the female but was stopped by his brother that but a hand on his shoulder.
"We have to get the book," he said as he pointed upwards.
"Go!" Panthro said. Both brothers ran towards the book. The panther turned toward the mummy, "Mumm-ra is mine," he took his nunchuks and got ready to fight. He swinger the weapons at the mummy trying to hit him but he just dodged them. Seeing an opening the cat kicked the old mummy in the stomach but not without getting a blast of electricity to his side. To which panthro was able to get free from as if that had no effect on him. Mumm-Ra took a step back, "This bag of bones is no match for panthro," the cats said.
"Don't be deceived by appearance. My true form is far morepowerful," he replied. Purple black smoke began to surround him and his voice began to echo, "ancient spirits of evil. Turn this decade for into Mumm-Ra the ever living." Along with the smoke the mummy bandage undid and surrounded around him. When it all cleared the old mummy was no longer there instead Mumm-Ra stood young and strong, with lighting surrounding him and bat like winged behind him.
Snarf became scare from were he was bidding. Purple beams came down in front of the panther making him cover his eyes. Taking the opportunity the old mummy shot a beam from his mouth at the panther sending him to where the kittens wore.
Wildcat and kit took a step in front of panthro. But the mummy didn't pay attention to them as he extended his wings and began to fly up. A gosh of strong are blew the Kitts away as they had come close to the mummy.
From up the tower Aideen looked down and noticed both brother, "Lion-O! Tygra!" She yelled making them look up at her.
"When did she get there," the lion question.
"I'm going to try and get the book. I'll meet you two up there," she said as she began to climb again being careful to not fall.
Both cats began to fallow after her, one ahead of the other. Mumm-Ran shot beams from his mouth toward the tiger but missed as the he had moved away. He stood by a corner of the wall and made himself invisible.
While that was going on, panthor had began to climb up the pillar with both kittens and cat on his back.
The young king began to run faster up the tower. The mummy right behind him. Mumm-Ran yelled and began to speed up until something caught his foot. He struggled with the invisible Pedro but as unable to shake them off. A green blast was shot towards him but the mummy just raised his hand to avoid it. He then turns and shot a beam from his mouth at whatever was holding him.
This made the person groaned in pain making himself visible again. Mumm-ra shook Tygra off but f l before the tiger could fall of he grabbed on to the mummy other foot with his whip. "Won't shake me off that easily," he said but was hit by another blast from the mummy. This time thought h4 current crisis and fell. He yelled as he was falling, thankfully panthro was able to grabbed him as he was about to keep falling.
Lion-O looked down as nd smiled when he sow his brother safe. "Mumm-Ra," he gasped as he noticed the mummy coming toward him. Looking back the lion began to run towards the top of the tower.
By the time he got up Aideen was already waiting for him. They walked toward the center of the floor and looked around. The human girl looked up, "there" she said as she pointed toward the roof. At the top stood a circle like cage made out of stones, and inside was the book floating in between two square pillars. They smiled at one another, the lion then turned and began to walk until he stoped as he head the sound of flapping wings.
Mumm-Ra had reached them and stood in front of the lion. "The book of Omens and it power belong to me," he stated.
Lion-O unshield his sword and held it up as it extended to its full length. Thunder sipping out of it and scattering every where, "thundercats, ho!"
Aideen stood ready to fight. She took a deep breath, "alright, let try this again' she thought as she focuses on her inner power.
At the bottom of the tower, the cheetah stood up, the lantern in her hand. As she looked up her eyes glowed. Using her speed she ran on the walls faster than before. The thundercats that were climbing up looked at her run up toward the lion and human.
The one who looked in amazed out of the rest was Tygra as he stared wide as the cheetah. Panthro noticed and smirked at him, "close that mouth. You're drooling," he said making the tiger close his mouth.
Aideen's hands were on fire like before. She thrashed her left hand forwarded and send a blast of fire toward the mummy. She dodgers as he tried to blast her with a beam of light. She ran to the side than blasted another blast of fire toward him. The mummy didn't want to hurt the girl as he needed her but as she dodged every black Aaron stood and her fire hit him. The old mummy became irritated and angry. He noticed the lion run toward him and shot purple lightning toward him, but he dodged both blast and used his sword to avoid one as he kneel down.
The human noticed the Mumm-Ra distracted and decided to use that against him. She breath in and the focused on the mummy she pushed both hands toward him. The mummy finally noticed why the black witch was worried about this power. The fire was stronger than before that it pushed him back but she didn't stop the power from flowing. Not until she felt a shot of pain threw her hands. She groaned in pain as she brought her hand to her chest. The pain was terrible, just like that time at the briar. Mumm-Ra took noticed of this and shot a beam of light toward the human girl. This could have erected and injured her pretty bad, if she hadn't taken noticed and dodged it in time. Thought, she wasn't very fast as she was hit to the side and sent back. She was able to stop herself from reaching the end of the platform.
She turned to look as the mummy refocused his attention on the young king. He turned behind the lion as the female cheetah jumped from behind him. She then landed a kick on his face that made him stumbled back and turn his head to the side. Cheetara kneel down, a mistake mumm-ra noticed. He turned back and plaster a beam of light toward her making her drop the lantern that held her mentor in it. She groan in as she was thrown back to the edge of the platform.
The lion gasped as he stood and ran toward thecheetah, "I got you," he said.
He ran toward her leaving himself exposed to the evil mummy. Mumm-ra took noticed and blasted a purple beam toward him but instead of hitting him it hit, the beam connected with a blast of fire. Making a small explosion and sending the king forward making him drop his weapon. The mummy glanced at the human girl who stood kneed down with her arm forward. She then groan and fell down. This was going to be troubling in did.
The mummy chuckled as he turned back to the lion, "your just like your father," he said.
The lion kneel up and looked at him, " what do you know of my father?"
"Only that I killed him," mocked Mumm-ra. He the shock the lion with lightning making him scream in pain. He touch his forehead to the ground as he felt the pain.
"Lion-O!" The human girl screamed. She tried to stand but the pain from her arms and side was to much to leave her without her strength. The only thing she could do was stared at her friend being tortured.
Jaga looked at the young king, "the boy's not ready yet. He can't do this alone," he said. His face disappear as a white light began to glow. The lantern was lifter on the air and the light became brighter.
Mumm-Rain steps back, "the light!" He yelled as he tried to cover himself with his wings. He then transformed into a bird with two tails, one that resemble that of a crow. "The book will be mine,"he said before flying away.
Aileen stood as the pain from her hands had lessen down. She looked to the side as the rest of the thundercats climbed up. While the lion king helped cheetara.
They turned toward the shatter lantern. The cheetah kneel down and hugged the lantern, " he sacrificed himself for you," she said as the lion clinched his hands into fist. The rest closed their eyes and bowed their heads, "for all of us."
Aideen looked at the lantern as a small light came out of it. "Look"
They looked as the light flied up towards the ceiling then landed on the book. A small creak sound was heared before the cage was brought down. The lion grabbed the book, at long last we have the answers," he said as he opens the book.
"Well, what does it say?" Tygra asked.
"Nothing," the lion replied as his eyes widen, "it blank."
Xander stood to the side of the jet. His arms cross on his chest as he waited for the hoskey to comeback. If his contacts were correct then titania was in the small town ahead. He needed to find her as she was the only person who knew were his mother's best friend was.
TThe time would come when she needed but if they had no clue as to where se is or how to locate her then things would become complicated. Not to mention she was one of the person both Mumm-ra and Alchy fear.
His mother may have travel around third earth but out of the two she was the most knowledge out of them all. He heard move ment from the bushes making him move his hand to the pistal that was to his side. He relaxed once he noticed who was there. He re crossed his arms, "so is she here?" He asked as Shila stood in front of him.
She nodded, " yes, there have been talks about a white female tiger in this area. I checked the house a villager said she was staying in," she informed. Looking to the side she brought her hand on her chin in thought, "I sow here and she seems alert. On guard," she looked back at the boy, " we need to get to her before anything else."
The boy nodded and grabbed his hood. They blend with the shadows and walked toward their destination. Xander looked at the people around him. They seemed calm, but he knew better than to let his guard down. After all everything seems clam before something bad happens.
They reached the house and knocked on the door. They waited until two a dog opens the door. He was tall and muscular. 'Great, a German shepherd. He won't let us in that easily,' the boy thought. He his his face behind the hood then turned tto make sure no one was looking their was. The house was well hidden but he was not going bet his chances.
"Hello, my names Shila,"the female introduced she then gesture toward the him, " and this is my companion Ray" he finished using the boys fake name.
The dog looked at him knowing they were lying about his name. He turned to Shila, "name's Sheik can I help you with something?" He asked.
"Yes, were looking for... A female tiger," she answered making sure to keep her voice low so no one could hear her.
The male dog looked at them, "there's no one like that here. I think you got the wrong place." He said.
Xander stepped close to him, "we know she's here and we mean no harm. After what happen to her home. I know she was taken to live with some friends of her mother's. We need to talk to her," the boy finish.
Sheik looked at him then at the female dog. He shock his head, "I don't know what your talking about but you may come in." They walked in and noticed another German shepherd with two young kids by her side. Sheik locked the door then turned toward them, "fallow me," he said as he began to walk away. They walked through a hallway until they reached a door. Before letting them in the sheltered turned toward the boy, "tell me your real name."
"Xander," hr answered, "and she knows me."
The dog nodded thenI opened the door. In was a small room with a bed and a drawer and a lantern on top of it. There was no windows. In the bed sat a white female tiger with a book on her hand. She turned as s she felt someone staring at her. Taking noticed of the people in the room she closed her book and stood up quick. Her white blue striped hair falling behind her. She stared at the knew comers, as one came close to her she took a step back.
"I'm not going to hurt you," the boy said as he took off his hood. He gave a smile as the tiger stared at him, her eyes widen. "Its me Xander."
"Oh my" she was speechless and ran to give a long lost friend a hug.
