Hello everyone! Sorry for the late update but I was having trouble with this chapter. I'm still not too pleased with how it turned but at the same time i think its find. Well hope you like it.
Disclaimer: I don't own thundercats except my O.C's.
Legacy
The thundercats were outside the tower. Cheetara sparing with Wilykat, while panther slept and Tygra checked his pistol. The only ones not there were the lion king and the human girl.
After finding out the book was blank, they all left the tower. Lion-O didn't want to give up and decided to stay and figure out how the book worked. As for the human girl, she left without telling them where she was going. They decided she needed to be alone and left her be. Of course the only one who noticed something wrong with her was the tiger. Lion-O also noticed but decided to not force her to tell him unless she wanted him to know. They both had noticed her put her hands behind her and walked away quickly. The tiger though, noticed the pain expression she tried to hide. And he unlike his brother would ask her to tell him. Out of the two he was, some what, forceful because he knew she would not tell him freely.
Tygra looked toward the tower. After tinkering with his pistol he got bored and was worried about the human girl. Standing up, he walked toward Cheetara making them stop their sparing. "Do you know where Aideen went?" He asked as he was closed to them.
Wilykit nodded her head and pointed towards the side of the tower. "I saw her go that way. why?" She asked.
"I just want to check on her," he said as he turned around and began to walk away.
"I thought you didn't like her," commented Cheetara as she frowned. She had noticed the way the tiger looked at the human, with concerned and worried. He was becoming protective of her.
Tygra stopped walking and wondered the same thing. Of course he didn't like her at first, she did after all put a knife on his throat. And he got annoyed by her, even now he still does. But within time he saw her as a friend, perhaps not like lion-O and her, but a friend nonetheless. And after she almost drowned, twice, he became protective of her. He still teases her though perhaps not with the same intentions as before.
He shook his head and began to walk, while not responding to the cheetahs comment.
Aileen stared at her hand, her eyes wide. They were burned just like how Cheetara had said she saw them last time. But this time it wasn't just her hand they were burn but a little above her wrist. She stared at her hands wondering what had happened. This was another question she needed the answers to.
She hid her hands as foot steps came closer to her and turned to look at who had come looking for her. She sigh knowing he would come. "What do you want Tygra?" She asked as she turned fully to look at him.
The tiger lifted an eyebrow, "I want to know why you're hiding your hands behind your back," he responded.
Aideen looked to the side as she clinched her hands. She looked back at him"I don't know what your talking about."
"I may not know you for a long time, Aideen," the tiger said as he crossed his arms and looked at her with a serious expression. "But I do know when your lying. What's going on, I want the truth."
The human girl sighed, she knew he wasn't going to let go of the subject. Moving her hands from her back she let the tiger see them.
"What happen?" He asked as touched her hands only to have her flinch. He sow this and let go, "sorry."
Aideen looked at her hands, "Cheetara said the same thing happen last time. I guess using my fire leaves me hurt," she explained. "She did say that they were healed when she put water on them. Seems that the longer I use it the more I burn." Walking towards the water the human girl, put her hands in the water. Water ran threw her finger. As the cold water touched the hand the pain was gone. She pulled her hand back, both watched as the water was observed by her skin and went back to it normal soft light brown skin, with no trace of a burn left.
She looked at her hands then turned them. Now she was more confused than ever, "great. More mystery to solve. And no one to give me the answers," she said then clenched her fist. She sigh as the tiger put his hand on her shoulder, "I'm getting more confused and frustrated."
In the tower, lion-O had the book on his hand and snarf was to his side. He lift the book then brought it down as he examine it, "all does year we believe the book of Omens was magic, but maybe it's technology. Which means if I want to read this I need to power it up." He touched the bottom side of the book trying to see if there was any switch.
"Snar," snarf meowed.
"Relax, I'm not gonna brake the book of Omens," he replied as he tilted the book forward, "I think- ah!" He yelled as he was thrown to the floor by lightning that shot out of the book.
The book fell down, a red light shot out from the red circle at the center of the book. A blue light came from the sides of the red light. It surrounded the lion lifted his spirit up from his physical body and dragging it inside the book.
Snarf meowed as he looked at the unconscious king.
Aideen stared at the kits as they began to play with one another. She had decided to let lion-O be for the moment but was greeting worried as s he hadn't come down from the tower. Not only was her mind on her lion friend but was also clouded with questions. About her powers and her heritage she was frustrated and confused. Some where deep she felt angry. Angry at her mother who never told her what she could do. Angry at not being able to get at least some answers.
She sigh and got up from her set next to tygra. He looked her way as she stood. "Where are you going?" He asked.
She looked back at him, "I'm going to check on lion-O. Just to see if he has figure anything out," she replied. She took a couple of steps then stopped as she became dizzy just like the first time she got to third earth. This time thought was very different. Her vision became blurry. She closed and open her eyes. A hand touched her shoulder but she couldn't make out the voice, or what he was saying.
She closed her eyes as she lost conscious.
Lion-O's spirit travel in a black space. Blue lines moved around him in a wave like form. "You have enter a strange realm, lion-O" a blue glow said from behind the young kind. The king turned an looked at it as in pulsed with each word it spoke, "the book is neither magic nor technology, but rather, a fusion of both." The blue glow disappear and was replaced by the spirit of the old cat. The one they had thought was dead.
"Jaga. your alive," lion-O said in surprise.
"The rules of life, death, and reality itself are different within the book, lion-O," he explained.
"Are you going to tell me what Mumm-ra is after, and how to stop him?"
"The answers lie in the books all-seeing records of the past" Jaga answered. "But to truly understand them, you must re-live the events that lead us here long ago." With that he lifted his staff and pointed it to the bottom side of him. Lightning was shot from the head, " far from beyond the skies of thunders and the reach of your imagination."
Lion-O's spirit when threw a light that lead him toward a pyramid that stood in space. Within the pyramid at the center of the main room stood a red orb, and in front of it was a lion. "From within the body of your ancestor, Leo," Jaga said as the young kings spirits enter the lions body. "You will face the same challenges that he did." Lion-O gasped and took a step back as Jagas voice spoke again, "but I warn you lion-O, if you fail, the book will be closed to you forever."
Lion-O took a step toward the screen that was in front of him. He touched some of the red bottoms making the circle or be change image. "Wow. Never thought the past would look so much like the future," he commented. "Wonder what Aideen would have thought about this." He looked at the image that appeared in the screen. A square like red stone, in the center stood a black cat eye, "looks like the eye of thundera."
"Beautiful, isn't it, Leo?" A voice said from within the darkness.
Lion-O turned to see Mumm-ra commented from within the darkness. "I serve Mumm-ra?!"
"And you will do well not to forget it," the mummy replied as he walked toward the lion. "Once I have the war stone in my grasp, I will amplify the power of the sword of plum-darr, making it the most formidable weapons in existence." He took the sword from his goblet and extended it towards the screen were the stone was seen threw the hole in the sword.
"warstone?l lion-O thought in question.
"Tell me commander has the book of Omens pinpointed the stones location?"
"Um." The lion king said as he walked toward the controls. "Let me... check," he pressed the bottom hesitantly. A small image appeared in front of him, "there," he pointed to a planet.
"Captain Tygus," the mummy said.
The black screen that was in front of them turned on reveling the image of a tiger that had what looked like a technical patch in his eyes. "Yes, lord mumm-ran?"
"Prepared your pilots and the rest of the invasion forces to move in once the stone is located" he commanded then turned toward the lion. "To that aim, commander, see to it that the animals are deployed for initial planetary sweep."
Lion-O turned, "yes, my lord," he said with a bow.
"You don't know what your causing," a female voice said just when the lion was about to leave.
Lion-O turned, his eyes widen as he stared at a human. What surprised him the most was the fact that she looked so much like Aideen. Her hair and eyes where different than his friend. As her hair was silver and her eyes green, along a long line was painted across her face from under her eyes. But she had the same light brown skin and held the same kindness and caring as Aideen did. She had full red lips and her futures were sharp with her eyes looking carefully her surrounding. Her height was the same but the difference was what she wore. The female had an elegant white dress with long sleeves. The dress showed her curves but was not tight, making her able to move freely. A necklaces that was the same shape as Aideens, hanged on her neck and a circle crown was placed in her head. She may have different hair and eye color but there was no doubt about, this female looked exactly like Aideen. Now the question was; why would someone that looks like Aideen be in a ship with Mumm-ra.
"Aideen?! was the first thought on his head.
"Ah Behira," Mumm-ra said making the lion glace at him before turning his attention back to the human. "Should you not be in your room?"
Behira growl, "in my room?! Don't you mean my cell?"
"Now, my love. You are no prison here."
"Don't call me that!" She said angrily. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, the last thing she wanted was to get into an argument with him. In a calm voice she repeated what she had said, "You have no Idea what you are about to do."
Mumm-ran turned from her and looked at the screen. "On the contrary, my dear. I will rule all once I have the stone." He turned and grabbed her hand. She was smaller as she stood in front of him. "And you, my love, will be queen of all."
Lion-O stared in shock as Mumm-ra spoke to her. He was in shock at the fact that she maybe mumm-ra's lover. But soon he was confused, wondering who was Behira and why did she look like Aideen.
Behira pulled her hand and took a step back, her expression full with anger. "The only reason for my being here and wedding you, is for the species that are in this spaceship. Do not expect me to bow down to you or do what you wish. I will never love you or acknowledge you as my king," she said with venom in her voice.
Mumm-ra's eyes fill with anger he turned his back to her. "Commander, take behira and make sure she returns to her quarters."
Lion-O nodded, "yes, my lord." He turned toward the female and sow the look in her face. One thing for sure, Behira hated Mumm-ra. The question now was; why was she still here and agreed to wedded him. "my lady," he said as he moved to let her pass first.
She glared at the mummy before turning and looking at the lion's direction, her eyes narrowed. "I can get there my self. I don't need a bodyguard. Especially you" she hissed and left the room. The lion following after her.
He could feel her anger and was sure that some of it was directly at him. He stayed quite as he followed her. Thankful that she was the one leading, as he didn't know were to go.
Behira after trying to ignore the cat that was flowing, stooped and turned. She stared at the lion and was sure there was something different, but decided to ignore it. "I thought I had made it clear I didn't need a bodyguard."
Lion-O clear his throat and looked at her, "forgive me my lady, but my lord has-"
"I know what that sack of bones has order you," she interrupted with annoyance in her voice. She crossed her arms and looked to the side. Calling some one names was not what she needed to do, especially when she was telling them to his most trusty commander.
"sack of bones?" the lion thought in bemused. He wanted to laugh but decided against it. He didn't know how she would react.
"To think you would ask for forgiveness. Well that's a first," she spoke again making the lion look up at her. At the look the lion was giving her, her expression change, "I'm sorry. I shouldn't... I" she sigh and leaned on the wall. "Ever sense you took me from my home and brought me here. I don't know what to do anymore. I know that hate is not an emotion I should have but... sometime we can't always control our emotions. I'm just doing what Mumm-ra wants from me."
Lion-O didn't know what to do as he just stayed silent and listen to her. She seemed so strong just seconds ago and now she was confused and he could see a tint of fear in her green eyes.
Behira frowned then moved away from the wall, "if only you hadn't taken me from my plate none of this would be happening."
Lion-O opened his mouth to speak but was interrupted by a new voice, "my lady!"
They turned and noticed a tiger walking towards them. He was about the same age as the lion. Lion-o looked at the human and cat. Behira snarled but her eyes softened, just like the tigers eyes were kind as he looked at her. The cat bowed down to the commander before looking at the female. "My lady, I came back to take you to your quarters."
Behira turned toward the lion, "well commander thanks you for listening to me. I hope the worst for this invasion." She turned and began to walk away.
"Please forgive her but you know how she can be," the tiger apologized taking the lion by surprise.
"Um.. yeah she seems... very angry," noticed the lion.
The tiger nodded, "she would be after being taken from her planet and watching it be destroyed. I hope for the best commander." He bowed then walked after the human girl.
Lion-O stared at the way the human went. He soon realize why she was angry at him, or at least Leo. 'ever sense you took me from my home' 'if only you hadn't taken me from my plate' she had said. As he thought about it he soon wonder; where was Behira from if her planet was destroyed.
Aideen open her eyes as she heard voices. She looked around and found herself in an unfamiliar place. The room was decorated as if for royalty. There was a bed and a small drawer but to her, within her, she felt a prisoner. The metal door behind her opened, a male cat and human female walked in.
"Don't tell me not to voice my opinion, Cato," the human said as the door behind them closed. She turned to look as him as he stared at her, "you know what he's doing is wrong. Why can't you see that."
Cato's emotion were mixed, Aideen could see tha that in his eye's. He sigh and closed his eyes, "I'm not to question my lords decisions. And neither should you, Behira. Your to be his queen and as such, you must do what he wishes. Your loyalty will belong to him." When he open his eye there was sadness.
"what's going on? Who are you?" She said but was not heard.
'this is nothing more' 'than a dream' 'a dream to show you' 'what you must see' the voices said. Aideen looked down at her hands and sow them as transparent.
"at least tell me who she is," she said.
"Her name is Behira.' 'your ancestor' the voices answer.
"Is that what you want?" Behira ask in a quite soft voice. Her eyes began to water as tears threaten to fall. She was not weak but she was fearing for the rest of the species. And was sadden at the fact that once she was married she would lose her true love. "Do you wish me to marry him. A man I do not love?"
Aideen watched as the tiger was silent. She could see the struggle he was in but for what reason she did not know. She wanted to know what was happening but inmates of asking the voices she decided to wait instead.
Soon Behira sigh as she got no answer from the cat. As she walked around the room she began to speak, "the only reason I even agreed to marry him was for the other species. He would kill them if he wanted to. He does not care for those that do not serve him." She sat on the small sofa that stood in front of her bed. "As soon as he gets the warstone the ceremony will begin."
Cato stood in silent as he watch a tear fall from her eye. He kneel in front of her and wiped the tear away. He touched her cheek and looked into her eyes. "I know you don't wish for you to marry him, but what can we do? He is our lord, what happen between shouldn't have-"
"Don't," she interrupted as she stood up. Looking away she tried to calm down as she felt her heart break from the words he was about to speak, "Please don't."
"Behira-"
"Leave," she demanded. She turned to him her expression harden as the tried to control her emotions. "If that's your decision then it's best if you leave. Your duty as my guard is over. Mumm-ra will soon have the stone and he'll most likely put Leo as my new guard. There's no need for you here anymore."
Cato stood in silent as he watched her with a bow he began to walk away. Before left, he turned and looked at her, "even after what happens do not doubt what I felt for you. I love you." And with that he left.
Behira cover her mouth to stop the sound of her sobs. She fell down and began to cry. Aideen stared at the scene before her. She could feel her sorrow but could do nothing.
A couple of seconds later, two human maids came toward the crying woman. They helped her to her bed. "Please do not cry, my lady," a maid with a purple dress and brown hair said.
"We knew this was to happen," said the maid that wore a brown dress and had blond hair.
"You mustn't full or let your emotions take over. You need to be strong."
Behira nodded, "I know but..." She shook her head and stood up, "forget it. We must be ready for what's about to happen." She headed to a small drawer that was next to her bed. Carefully she opened the drawr the that was locked. Reaching out she pulled a book that was made of brown let her and had designs imprinted so over. To the side was a small lock with a red crystal at the top. Benita turned and handed it to her maid, "here. Take it," she said as her maid took her book, "take it with you. Teach her everything you taught me."
The maid looked at her mistress, "but my lady. You will be there to raise your children, I'm sure you will make it out alive, you must."
Behira shook her head, "that is not something we are sure of. I just want to be prepare in case things don't go according to plan." She looked at both maids with a serious expression, "Please take care of them."
The nodded their head. The maid with blond hair asked the question the two have been thinking of. "My lady are you going to tell Cato about the children's?"
Behira stood still for a moment. She bit her lip as she thought about it then shock her head, "no, he thinks that what happen was a mistake. He serves Mumm-ra and his loyalty is as great as the rest of the tiger clan. It's best if he doesn't find out."
"My lady not all tigers agree with what.. he's doing."
"Yes, that I know," she sigh as she sat down, "if the time comes and you feel like he must know then tell him."
Aileen stared in shock at what she had just seen.
The young king walked threw the long corridor, deep in thought, "So, Mumm-Ra use the book of Omens to find the eye of thundera and the cats helped him? Not only that but my ancestor took Behira from her planet then destroyed? This is strange," he mutter then looked up as he enter a new room, "And I'm so lost."
The room had cage like boxes to the side of then that had a lightning force file. All kind of animal species were locked inside with cat guards guarding the prison.
"What took you so long?" a female voices said from behind him making him turn. A female panther came closer to him, showing her to be taller than the lion. She was dress in a similar uniform as his.
"Sorry. What did i miss?" he replied making her chuckled as she shook her head.
The stood in front of a hologram that had the picture of the planet that held the war stone. "This is our invasion target," she said as she pointed at the planet. "The planet is sevendythree percent water, so well need every thiger shark we got. As usual, well let the dogs and monkeys to work the ground," she explained as the two species were let out of their cells. "and the vultures will search the air." They watched the animal, then she turned to look at him, "I assume Tigus and his men will be ready to move in once the stone is located?"
"You.. could assume that," he replied back.
Both cats stood to the side and watched the animals wall past them, "all this animals enslave in search for a single stone." The young king mutter with sadness in his voice.
The female cat turn to look at him, "What do you think they hate more, the cages or" they looked as the one of the security cats put a collar on a monkey, "the security collars that will blow them to pieces with one step in the wrong direction."
"I'm going with the collars."
She turned from him, "the only time they feel at peace is when lady Behira comes to see them."
"What do you mean?" He asked in confusion.
Before she could answer a jackal stop moving and stood in front of her making the guard that was to his other side hit him with his weapon. "Watch it cat," he said as he pushed the cat away from him and toward the animal behind him. Soon a riot broke out.
"Oh, just what we need, a riot," the female cat said as she den toward two prisoners and kicked them both. She stood and looked at the lion, "are you going to stand there looking pretty, or are you going to fight?"
Before he could say anything a hand grabbed him and slammed his back to the wall. He looked up and sow a lizard holding him, "whiskers," he grounded.
Aideen looked as her ancestors head shot up at the sound of the alarm.
Behira closed her book, that she had been studying and stood up. Quickly walking out without anyone noticing her, she made her way towards the animals. She knew the alarm was from a fight having already heard it before. She hid as two cats ran toward were she was. The last thing she wanted was for them to see her.
Mumm-ra order for her room to have thick wall in order for her to not hear the alarms that sounded when an animal tried to escape. He knew she would not do anything and listen to him as long as he didn't order for the animals to be harm. But that did not mean she wouldn't fight against the cats if they harmed the animals or if the riot was because they had decided to harm them.
She cared about the animals and that was both a.b aa s and good thing. Good as it was what gave her strength to fight, but bad as it was what made Mumm-ra have her under his control. And Aideen knew this.
Lion-O struggled against the lizard. He looked as the lizard came toward him, smirking at his struggles. Thinking quick the male cat hit the lizards forehead with his own, sending him back toward two other lizards. As the lion stood straight he kicked booth animals that came toward him. Soon the situation was under control and both the lizard and jackal were cuffed.
"Well take it from here," the panther said as she began to walk away. "Lets take the leader's to isolation holding." Both cats walked along the wall toward a door that Lear to a small room. She opened the door and grabbed both animals, "if you so much as twitch, it'll be the last move you make." She threaten before pushing them inside making them fall of the ground. She looked out the door to make sure the guards walked away, then closed it. Standing in front of them she kneeled down and undid their cuffs.
"Wait. What are you doing?" The lion question.
"I think they've spend enough time in these cuffs," she replied then stood.
The lizard rubbed his head, were lion-O had hit him, "Nearly took my head of," he hissed as the lion to a step back. "You cats will take any chance you get."
The female cat turned toward the lion, "I'll say it was quick a convincing performance," she commented.
"Yeah...performance" the líon said with hesitation.
"My apologies for the unplanned riot, but it seemed we should meet," the jackal began, "Mumm-Ra will have the stone soon."
"And when he does, there won't be a force in the galaxy strong enough to free us from his dominion. Not to mention the stone he Wil be able to will once he marries Behira," she said. Both animals looked worried at the mention of Behira. She had done so much for them to the extend to marry the mummy if it meant they would not be killed or harmed. "So the question is, are you prepare to join the rebellion?"
"Our people are willing, but some question if the jackals can really trust you cats," the jackal answer as he gave a glance at the lion.
"What choice do you have, to stay in your chains?" She replied back
"Even if we could trust you does that commander really believe he can defeat Mumm-Ra onche has the stone?" The lizard question.
"Me?" The lion said as he looked to the side, "oh, yeah. Sure... I mean, probably"
"Definitely," a new voice said making them turn to ward the open door. Behira walked in as the door closed he hind her. "But he can't do this alone."
Both animals gave a low bow, "lady Behira."
She looked at them with a kind but sad eyes, "don't bow your heads. I don't deserve it, I've done nothing to help," she said as the two stood up. She sigh then her expression turned serious, "but that is about to change. If this is to work we'll need all the animals to unite in order to overwhelm the rest of Mumm-Ra's defense."
"of course, if he fails, we all die," the lizard stated.
"Yes," the jackal said, "Ironic... our cat oppressors turn to the slaves for salvation. If he gets the stone, we'll consider it." With that the panther opens the door letting both animals go.
Behira closed her eyes, "if things don't go as we originally plan, then we will use my stone."
The female cat looked at her with worried eyes, "but if you use your stone you will..."
"It's a risk I am willing to take," behira said as she cut the cat off. She began to walk out the room, "I have done to many mistakes but if it means giving my life in order to save others then... it must be done." She looked and smiled at the lion, "don't worry I know you will be able to do it." She said before leaving.
Lion-O looked at the panther as she saw Behira leave, "what stone?" He asked.
"The sensus stone. According to what I've read, it is a powerful stone said to able to tip the scales of good and evil. Mumm-Ra wishes to us it in order to gain more dark powers. Only the priestess, who is queen to the shannen, has it," she explained.
The lion thought about what she said, "the why can't we use it? If it's as powerfully as you say it is?"
The panther looked at him with a serious expression, "Leo, the stone is inside of her. It part of her soul if it is removed she will die." She said making the lion stare at her in shock. "It is said that when she bares a female child and that child has reached a certain age, the stone then moves to be within the child. And the cycle repeats as they bare offspring."
"I see," he replied worried.
She walked close to him and her face softness, "don't worry. I have faith in you, Leo." She gave him a kiss on his cheek before leaving.
His smile soon vanish, "I'm so dead. But at least I have a girlfriend."
Lion-O turned turn to leave until he hear some one laugh. A laugh he knew to well, tuning he called out, "Aideen?"
Aideen walked out from the shadows but she was in a ghost like appearance. "Your about to fight Mumm-ra and the thing your most happy about is having a girlfriend?" She said in amusement.
"What are you doing here?" He said then thought about his question, "how did you get here?"
Aideen tilt her head to the side as she thought, "well I know am dreaming, but l don't know why you're here." The lion explained his talk with Jaga as they both began to walk. She nodded her head "well then I have no idea how this happen I mean you got here by the book and I by a dream. This is really weird," she said to which the lion nodded. "Well then, for the mean time lets see what happens, then we can figure out what happens. Besides there a lot more I want to know about my ancestor."
"So your really descended from her?" He asked.
She nodded, "yeah, it was a shock to me as well. After this is all done, all tell you what I've learn but for now I want to know more." She then left the same way Behira went.
In another planet, Mumm-Ra's army began to invade the planet in which the stone was located. The sound of explosion was hurried as Mumm-Ras army began to fight against the inhabited of the planet they were in. "Captain Tygus, I want a progress report," Mumm-Ra order.
"Yes, lord Mumm-Ra. I have good news." The tiger began to answer as the other animals began to fight. Vultures flies on the sky dodging the beams that were shot their was. Dogs held spears as they ran towards battles while the tiger sharks swam around in the ocean. "After searching the planet's vest oven and desolated plains, we've located the stone in a well-armed city. Out forces are working to retrieve it as we speak."
Lion-O and Mumm-Ra watched the species fight. "Every species has it place, Leo, some meant for greater task than others," Mumm-Ra began to speak as he looked down at Lion-O. "But your own kind has proved most cunning and ruthless. They hate you as much as they do me. I suspect in a rebellion, you would be the first to die."
"A rebellion?" Lion-O repeated, "ah..that would surely be the work of fools, my lord."
"Indeed."
Their attention shift to ward the screen as the image of the three species changed and Tygus appeared. "We've procured the Warstone, my lord."
"At long last its mine. Bring it to me," he order as he looked toward the lion.
"Yes, my lord," he bowed then left. His thought then shifted toward his friend, wandering what she had found about her ancestor.
Aideen stared in shock as she looked at the scene before her.
Behira had come back to her quarters and change to a white armor. As she had began to feel the warstone getting closer toward the ship. She had hoped the aliens had over power the animals but it seemed her wishes were unheard. She now wore white leather pans with a short sleeve shirt. A black waist vest, along with elbow leather bracers and knee length boots. Her long straight hair was braided with the help of her two maids. She stood ready to battle as it was about to happen soon.
As she finish getting ready two other females came in a human, or whatever alien she was, and the other a Tiger. Both holding a baby in their hands, no older than a couple of days. They stood in front of Behira letting her look at them.
Aideen watched as her ancestor, touched their head making the sleeping baby's give a smile. Unconsciously moving closer to her hand seeking her warmth. This made Behira smile with happiness and sadness. She then looked up at the two females, "Please take care of them, as if they were your own." She turned and looked down at the two baby's and gave them a kiss before moving away.
As she began to walk away, the tiger grabbed her shoulder as she held the baby. "Cato will come and help. I know it," she assured making Behira freeze. "The tiger clan may be loyal to Mumm-Ra but we are above all, loyal to the one we love. No matter what, Cato will came and help you. You are the most important thing to him, just have faith."
Behira listen as she said this. She thought about the time Cato and her had spend together. She nodded then began to walk, "I always have faith in him."
After finding out the stone was found, they meet up with Behira and the panther began to lead them threw tunnels under the ship. Aideen and Lion-O walked along side one another as the two females walked in front of the. The lion was worried as his friend had said nothing to him and was wearing a serious expression. He decide to not ask what the had found out as he was worried the other may hear him and wondered who he was talking to.
They soon came to a stop as to cats stood in front of them, one with a cover object. The male cat uncover the hidden object revealing a sword and gold gauntlet. He handed it to Lion-O who put it on and un-shield the sword from the gauntlet, "the sword of Omens"
"Made from the same enchanted metal as Mumm-Ra's sword and gauntlet" the panther commented. "I'm worried its a but short."
"That will change once i join it with the eye of thundera," the lion said as he looked looked threw the swords handles hole, "let's go"
After retrieving the stone three spaceships flied inside the pyramid landing each in a platform. The captain came out of the ship only to be stop by a gun pointed at him. "Thanks for finding the warstone, captain," the lion said to him as the tiger looked at him in surprise, "But I can take it from here." He looked the hands of the captain to find he didn't have the stone.
"You'll never be able to unify the animals behind you, commander," Tygus commented.
"A tiger underestimating me. I'm not surprise," Lion-O replied.
"now, the stone" the panther asked as she looked at him. Behira narrowed her eyes as she looked at the captain, she could feel the stone in the room but no were near him.
The tiger smirked, "I don't have it," he answer.
"I do," a new voice said from behind them. They looked behind them to find the tiger, Cato, holding a gun that was pointed at them. Behira took a step toward him her expression harden as she looked at him. In his other was the stone. "I had a guess this was to happen. That's why I ask the captain to take me with him and to allow me to take the stone."
Aideen stared between the two already aware of the relationship between the them. She knew her ancestor would have to choice. Was she willing to fight the one she loved or would she give up.
"You don't know will happen if Mumm-Ra gets his hands on that stone," Behira said as clinched her fist. She didn't want to fight him as she care about him but if that was the only way to take the stone, then there was no other choice.
"On the contrary I know exactly what he plans to do," he said back as he took a step towards her.
"And your still loyal to him?" Behira hissed as looked at him still hopping he wasn't planing on helping the mummy.
Cato shook his head, "My loyalty may have belong to him at one point but now..." he said as he put the gun away and touched her cheek. His eyes softened, "my loyalty only belong to you, my lady. I would never betray you." With that he threw the stone to the lion who caught it with eased.
Lion-O looked at them with confusion then shock as the two, then shared a kiss. He looked at Aideen who had looked as way. 'whats going on?!' he thought.
"You would betray your own clan?!" Tygus exclaimed.
Cato looked back at the captain, "I am not betraying my clan. Not all the tigers are loyal to Mumm-Ra."
They then walked at the lion put the stone at the center of the hole fussing it with the sword. A red glow and lightning seeped threw the stone lighting the room.
The panther moved closer to him. She bent to down to his height, "Now all you have to do is use the book to shut down security, free the slaves, and beat Mumm-Ra" she said as she gave him a kiss.
"Well, when you say it like that, you make it sound so easy," the lion then turned and saw the tiger hugged Behira. He knew she wasn't Aideen but felt something stir within him, yet he didn't know what it was.
"Stay safe," Cato said. He touched her cheek, "If not for me, then for them."
Behira's eyes widen at what he said. She looked up at him and sow him smile. She nodded then smiled back, "You too. I don't want to lose you, now that you are no longer blind," she teased to which he laughed right before given her a kiss.
Lion-O turned away from them as he felt that sensation again. He turned towards Aiden to see her bent down, as her form began to fade away. He didn't say anything afraid the other would hear him.
She looked up at him and knew what he wanted to ask. She gave a small smile, "Well, seems like I'm waking up. But if your ancestor could defeat Mumm-Ra I'm sure you can to."
Lion-O walked toward the mummy as Behira walked next to him. In the back of his mind, he was worried about his friend but decided to forget about it. He knew she was find and right now he had a bigger problem to deal with. "You have the stone, commander?" the mummy asked as his back was turned to the lion.
"Yes, but you're not getting it," Lion-O replied.
Mumm-Ra turned toward the commander, "Your betrayal comes as a surprise. Even more surprising is that you sincerely believe you'll succeed." He gave a glace toward Behira not saying anything as he already knew she would fight against him at the first chance she got.
Lion-O put a hand at the hilt of his sword, "You yourself said it's the most powerful weapon in existence," he unshield his sword, making it extend to its full length.
"One of the most powerful weapons in existence, Leo, I have the other three," he said calmly as he lifted his gauntlet.
"Other three?" the lion question while Behira narrowed her eyes and anger clearly shown in her eyes.
Mumm-Ra began to laugh as small lightning seeped threw the three stones, "Certainly you haven't forgotten about the three stones we already collected."
"heh, believe it or not that some how slipped my mind," the lion replied.
"Now having brought a planet to its knees for the stone, I suspect taking it from you will be a far easier task." Mumm-Ra unshiled his own short, which extended to a double blade. He touch the platform with the sword, drawing lightning toward the lion. Who reflected it with his gauntlet but was thrown back by the force. Behira moved to stand in front of the lion as she reflected the lightning, with her own lightning power, toward the mummy. This distracted him giving the lion an opportunity. Lion-O ran toward him, as Behira stayed back. Their swords clash lightning seeping threw them. Behira thrush her arms forward sending a gosh of air, making the mummy unbalance and giving the lion the opportunity to push the mummy back. He held the sword in front of him as a red light was shot toward Mumm-Ra.
As Mumm-Ra noticed the light, he use his arm to shield him. Behira took notice and blasted a shot of lightning toward the gauntlet. Both blast helped loosen one of the stone from the gauntlet. "Ahhh!" the mummy yelled as the stone flew on the air.
Lion-O jumped back to catch the stone as Behira threw another blast. 'this is to easy' she thought.
The lion stood as the stone was in his hand. "Strip of your stones, you'll be nothing more than a withering sack of bones," he said.
This only enraged him. He flew in the air, lightning going everywhere, "The two that I have are more than enough to defeat you." The two stones began to glow along with the lightning that was going everywhere. He was soon cover in black armor, a skull was at the center of his chest. His face was cover with a helmet and his wings were now made out of metal. Rays of lightning stood from the floor.
"Hn. I knew it was to easy," Behira stated as she stood next to Lion-O. She took out two trowing knifes and stood ready.
"Perhaps I underestimated you, Leo, but not as drastically as you underestimated me. I can harness the power of the stones in ways you could only dream of," Mumm-Ra said as the lightning began to get loud.
"Just when I thought I was winning," the lion mutter.
"Your rebellion is over, Leo," Mumm-Ra shot a beam of lightning throwing the lion back. Behira stooped the lightning with her own blast of fire, making an explosion but not without getting hit by one. She ignored the pain and ran toward the lion, just as he was about to fall she grabbed his hand. Then helped him up just as the smoke cleared.
"I'm not done yet," the lion said as he ran his sword across the floor making lightning in the process. He charge toward Mumm-Ra just as Behira thew her knifes at him, making his unbalance. Mumm-Ra and Lion-O once again clashed swords, lightning going everywhere. The lion grit his teeth as he tried to push the mummy's sword back. The worstone glowed sending a beam of red light toward the mummy throwing him back and off the platform.
Behira ran to the side of the platform, were Mumm-Ra had fallen off. She looked down as the lion ran toward the controls. The lion began to push the buttons, "If I don't get these animals lose, this will all be for nothing," he said. In the prison hold, the force-field vanish and the animals looked around worried. One lizard stepped out side his cell and looked around. Soon a hologram of Leo appeared, "I realized the cats haven't earned it, but I'm asking you for your trust. Trust me and in a future where we are not enemies, but brothers. Today, lets put aside out difference, because together, we can be free. Unite or fall!" he said as he raised his sword.
Behira and lion-O watched at the animals began to fight against Mumm-Ra army. "No wonder you were meant to be a commander," Behira commented.
The image then changed showing the same panther as before, "So how'd I do?" the lion asked. But the panther didn't replied, instead she sent him a kiss.
"You think you've free them," Mumm-Ra siad as the two turned and gasped at the mummy, who was flying. "But you've only doomed them to die for your rebellion," the mummy said as he began to blast at the two, to which they dodged with eased.
"They're not fighting for me," Lion-O shouted back as he kneel down, "They're fighting for themselves." Mumm-Ra shot them with lightning throwing both of them to the ground. Behira clenched to her side and grit her teeth. She stood up and began to blast fire and lightning towards the Mummy. Mumm-Ra protected himself with his gauntlet, when he sow her slowing down. He swing his sword making a line of lightning and hitting her on her stomach, sending her back.
Before lion-O could get up to help her, Mumm-Ra grabbed his arm and threw him at the side of the wall to the feet of one of the statutes. Lion-O groaned in pain as he looked back at him. He watched as Mumm-Ra picked Behira up from her arms.
He looked toward the lion, as Behira bit her lip in pain. "Even if you had my power, you wouldn't know what to do with it," the mummy said to him before his attention shifted towards. "I will have the stone one way or another. You will see the suffering of the once you love and those to children you beard him." Behiras eyes widen at the mention of the one she loved and her two newborn child's. She scream in pain as the mummy shot her with lightning.
Lion-O stared at Mumm-Ra in anger. His attention was shifted toward the gauntlet. His attention the shifted toward the stone he held in his hands, "Maybe not," he mutter then stood up, with the stone in his hand. "But I just figured out this gauntlet hold more than my sword," he placed the stone in his gauntlet, fusing together. The stone began to glow and soon lion-O was cover in a gold and black armor, that had a lion head in the chest and as a helmet. "A light to end the darkness," he then charged at the mummy.
Mumm-Ra let Behira go as he charged toward the lion. Behira curled and tried to steady her breath. She looked at the mummy determine to finish this. If he won, her lover and children would be in danger. She rather giver her life for the once she loved, than live to see them suffer. She tried to stand but the pain was to much for her. Looking up she saw them fight and prayed to the spirits, that Leo would wind and not Mumm-Ra.
Lion-O swing his sword sending Mumm-Ra out the pyramid and into space. Where the two continue to fight. Their sword clash with one another, both not wanting to give up. Mumm-Ra send Lion-O back to the pyramid then tried to slash him with his sword. But the lion was fast and moved out of the way the ran and swung his sword. Whatever attack the mummy did, Lion-O always dodged. Lion-O swung his word then shot him with a beam of lightning sending the mummy back in the pyramid and onto the platform, were he tumbled on the ground.
Lion-O landed right in front go him and raise his sword. Mumm-Ra lifted his gauntlet as he tried to protect himself, "Agh!" he yelled as the sword hit his gauntlet. The two left stones detached from the gauntlet and fell to the ground. "The stones!" He grained in pain as a cloud of smoke surrounded him vanishing his armor with it. The withering form was left after the smoke vanish, the gauntlet and sword were to his side. Lion-O's sword shrunken back to it original sizes and his armor retrieved.
"Now, that's the Mumm-Ra I know and love," he commented as he looked at the mummy then bent down and picked to other two stones. He placed each once on his gauntlet making it glow. With a smile he raised it making the other animals, who now stood in the main room, cheer.
The female cat came towards him, "You just accomplished the impossible," she said as he smiled.
Cato ran toward Behira as stood up with her hand on her stomach. She could still feel the pain that the lightning had caused. She smiled as the tiger stood in front of her, "Are you alright?" he asked with worried.
"Yes, it nothing more than-" she was cut of as he gave her a kiss to which she gladly kissed back.
The moment was run when the spaceship began to shake. The panther moved toward the controls, "the ships instrument are going crazy. Some kind of magnetic storm is fighting the gravity of this planet's moons." The screen showed a planet's gravity pulling one of the moons, "We're on a crash course for-"
"Third Earth," lion-O whispered. They watched the screen as they got closer to the planet.
"Yours is a fleeting victory," Mumm-Ra mutter as he glanced at them. He turned and began to touch the controls to the side of his coffin. "I will live to collect whats mine," he moved towards the open doors and walked inside.
"No!" the lion yelled as he ran toward the doors but was to late as they were now shut. He tired to open them but was unable to.
The female panther looked toward the lion,"If we can't pry it open," she said as she looked at the controls, "lets make sure he can't either." She then smashed the controls, and the other animals cheered.
They turned to look outside the large window, "What do we do?" she asked.
"Brace for impact," the lion suggested as he looked at her. She lend in and kissed him, as he kissed her back. The planet coming closer.
Lion-O grained, then opened his eyes to see himself back inside the book. "huh?
"The impact of the crash disrupted the books records," Jagas spirit informed as the lion looked at him, "but left enough of the grew to alive to begin civilization anew here in third earth."
"Then Mumm-Ra's after not just the eye of thundera- hes after all the stones," he realized. "But where are they?"
"Scatter by the winds across third earth. The book will be your guide to them," he repleid and the lion nodded his head. "But remember it will take more than their power to defeat this monster."
"I have to bring the animals together against him. We unit and fall," he said as he clinched his fist.
"Go, now, Lion-O."
"Wait! I have more questions," the lion said as he began to float away from the jaguar. The last thing he saw was Jagas spirit fading, then everything was black.
The lion gasped as he opened his eyes. He looked around as the rest of the cats looked at him curiously. He stood up and looked at the sky, "I know what we have to do."
The others looked at one another. "What do you mean, Lion-O?"
Lion-O looked at them and was about to tell them what he had find out. When he noticed someone missing, " Where's Aideen?" he asked.
Aideen stared at the sky. She had thought her dream was going to end but instead it had changed. The dream was still in the same time; the past. She knew this because she had seen it before. It was before just a blur memories but now it was clear and she was broken. Two dreams she had hand; one was was of her ancestor. It has answer some questions she had but at the sometime it left her with more questions. She knew why she was different and why she had the powers she had. Not only that but also there was a book that could explain everything. The second dream; was something to do with her past. She didn't know that day but it seemed it was always in the back of her mind. Not only that but it had shifted to a day he did remember, one she of the most painful memories. Even more painful than the day Julie almost killed her.
Lion-O looked as he sow Aideen by the side of the platform. He saw her staring ahead her back to them. "Aideen?" he called out watching her stiff then relax. "Are you alright?"
Aideen didn't move from her spot. Tygra became worried at what was happening, "Aideen?" he called out.
They watched at she turned towards then. Both brothers were now worried as they saw tears run down her eyes. She was crying and they didn't know why.
Aideen looked away, she hated letting people see her cry. She was meant to be strong. She walked away as the two. She didn't what have a dream as the one she had or remember the day... her own brother turn his back on her.
A human girl stared at the forest she was in. The place was like earth but had a different wind to it, and by wind she ment it was just different. She scratched her head then looked around her. Her short brown hair getting on her face as the wind blowed. There was no path or signs to tell were to go, all she show was a thick forest. Not that she minded being in a forest. It sometime calmed her and she was the type of girl that couldn't stay still. "Were the he'll am I," she asked no one in particular. Tilting her head she shrugged and began to walk, "well whatever let the wind be my guide."
She began to walk the looked at the sky. She put her headphones on and began to listen to music. She hoped that at least in this place was not like the last one she visit were everyone thought she was a goddess that came from the sky. She hated being worshiped.
Her thought changed as she remembered her cousins back at home. She stop dead in her track at the student thought. "Ah, man!" She yelled as she hit her head with the palm of her hand. "Great, what am I suppose to tell Aideen when I get back. She'll be so mad for not returning home like a promise," the girl sigh, "oh well guess all have to ask Zane to help me with this one. She'll definitely know when am lying." Putting her hand behind her head, she began to walk again. "Thats what happens when you have a very caring cousin. And one that pays close attention to the people around her."
Well there you go. Again sorry for the late update. But well I was having trouble then my work for erase. Anyways, hopefully I can update the next chapter this week.
