Hello! Sorry took longer than planned.
Disclaimer. I don't own Thundercats except my O.C's
Berbils
"Great, its raining," Isha complained as she tried to rest. The sound of the rain drop was heard as the others tried to sleep. At the moment they were all in the middle of a forest, or what would look like a forest except for the giant mushrooms like trees. The tank had stop working again, and panthro was currently trying to fix it.
"Stop complaining," Aideen said from next to her. Both were leaning to one another, it was usually how they slept when Isha stayed at Aideens house. The young girls long hair had been braided in order for it not to bother her anymore. "I thought you loved the rain?"
Isha shook her head, "nope, that's you." She cover herself with the blanket in order to get more warmth.
The young girl chuckled, "yeah, your right." She got up from her warm spot, making the older girl groan in annoyance.
"Come back," she said as she extended her hand toward the younger girl. "I need my warmness."
Aideen raised an eyebrow, "Is that all I am to you?"
Isha shook her head, "No, of course not," she said then paused as she snuggled deeper into the blanket. "You're also my pillow, now come back."
With a roll of her eyes, she turned around, "Go find some one else to be your pillow." Walking out into the rain, Aideen stretched as the rain fell on her head. She looked up and closed her eyes. It was true she loved the rain, even though it sometimes made her hair become frizzy. It felt good to stand in the rain. The cold wind blowing and the rain falling made her feel calm, as if it was washing way all he worries and fears. And making her forget everything she didn't want to remember. Days like this, she would stay by her living rooms window couch with a cup of hot chocolate, or in odd days ice cream, and just relaxed. Her older brother then would join her and both would take about... well anything. That was before Julie got in between them, and within time after all of that happen.
Opening her eyes she walked toward the panther that was fixing the tank.
He hammer the side of the thunder tank as he tried to fix it. Hearing the sound of foot step he looked to the side and sow the young half-human walk towards him. "Shouldn't you be sleeping?" he asked as he kept working.
Aideen shock her head and sat down under a mushroom tree. "No, couldn't sleep," she replied then stretched one again, "besides I love the rain."
Panthro glanced at her, he was in conflict as to how to act around the girl. After all she did tell them about her past, and to him and the others... she didn't have a happy one. Now they were wondering how they should treat the girl who had been betrayed to many times.
"Treat me like how you've always treated me," she said as if she read his mind. "Besides, I didn't tell you about me just so I could be treated with pity. That would be worst."
The panther looked at her as she gave a smile. She was back to normal after hearing about her ancestor and telling them about her past. He didn't understand the girl at all. Who was able to keep being positive after going threw what she did. Not to mention, the fact that she never even hater the girl who made her life hard. He would never forgive Grune, so how could she forgive Julie?
He turned away from her, "Problem with a tank this old it's always breaking down" he mutter to himself. "Uhhh," he sigh as he wiped his forehead. He looked inside the tank and Aideen walked toward him to see what he was seeing, "Junk cylinder. Blew the hold drive train" He put his hand inside the machine, "Let's see how this works."
Aideen watched what he was about to do, "Um, should you re-" before she could finish her sentence the engine started up, but soon the power stop and the engine exploded. Smoke seeped threw the metal parts of the tank, as the panther sigh.
They looked down as the door opened and a cloud of smoke seeped from within the tank. Everyone within dashed out, couching, as they tried to get away from the smoke. Isha was trying to cover herself from the rain, as she cough loudly.
Cheetara turned toward them, "Guess we're sleeping outside tonight."
"Oh, man. Now, I'm more cold and wet," Isha complained as she tried to shield herself from the rain. She looked towards her cousin and glared at both her and panthro. But the panther just ignored her.
Aideen climb down from the tank and walked towards her cousin, "Why don't you help him, instead of complaining?"
"I don't know anything, your brother was the expert," she replied as threw her a blanker before, walking away.
The younger girl rolled her eyes as she watched her walk away. She looked to the side as both a fire was being set up. She stayed in the rain while the others got comfortable, Tygra and Cheetara sat by one another. Lion-O sat in front of them, with snarf by his side. And both the kits and Isha climb a mushroom tree, as they decided to sleep on top of that. Leaving the blanking in a dry spot, she return to panthro's side to see if she could help him in any way.
/
By night fall, the half-human decided she needed some sleep and left panthro to work on the thunder tank alone. She did tried to stay but, after he saw her yawning, he told her to leave. Looking at the others, she realized that Tygra and cheetara had fallen a sleep, and so did Wilykat and Isha. With her cousin covering kat and hugging him. The only once awake were Wilykit, who was playing her flute and Lion-O.
She grabbed her dry blanket and began to walk toward the camp. With one last glace at her cousin, as she wanted to make sure she wasn't about to fall down, she walked toward the lion.
She saw him look towards Cheetara and Tygra. With a frown he turned away from them, as he cross his arms in order to keep warm, "Things are looking up," he said sarcastically. "No transportation, nothing to eat, and no shelter," he closed his eyes as he tried to sleep, "If the rain stopped, it might be bearable." As he felt warm he opened his eye to see Aideen had cover with the blanket she had gotten from Isha.
Aideen didn't notice him as she glanced toward the two in front of them, wondering why the two brother were so interested int he same female. At feeling eyes on her, she turned away from them and looked at the lion. "Hmm, I thought you were a sleep," she commented as she sat next to him and cover herself with the blanket as well. "I thought you might be cold," she answered to his questioning look.
"Um, thanks," the lion said as he didn't know what else to say. She was so close to him, and for some reason he gave a light blush. Aideen on the other hand, was very comfortable. Aside from her brothers she stayed away from boys as she didn't like being to close to them, but Lion-O was different, and it wasn't because he was a cat.
"You complain to much," she commented making him look at her, "Just like Isa."
"Is that bad?" he said as he looked to the side, not knowinh what else to say. His mind was on how close she was, and what he was feeling at the moment. At the sound of her chuckling he looked down at her.
Shaking her head, she looked up and was meet with blue eyes. The once she thought were quite beautiful, "No, of course not. But sometimes you must see whats right in front of you. Don't think about the bad things, but rather the good ones. After all, we are alive," she advice. Without realizing, Aideen got closer to the lion, as the warmness was making her sleepy. With a yawn she closed her eyes, "Now, let to sleep."
The lion watched her steady breath as she was falling a sleep. He gave a small smile as he watched her for a few minutes, before closing his eyes as well. Both of the them, leaning to one another.
No one noticed the glowing eyes from within the mushrooms. Their shadows passing by them as the creatures surrounded them.
By morning, the first one to wake up was lion. He stretched his arms and tried to stand up, but was restrained by Aideen's arms. He looked down at her and saw her fast asleep. Carefully as to not wake her up, he stood up and looked around, noticing there was no rain. "The rain finally stopped?" he asked the others.
"No," Tygra replied, but panthro was nice enough to build a shelter while we were sleeping." He pointed to the tent above them that shelter them from the rain.
"It wasn't me," panthro said from the tank. "I figured it was one of you." They then turned toward the cheetah making her step back and hold he hands up.
"Don't look at me," she said.
Tygra looked around, "Wheres Aideen?"
Pointing back to where he was Lion-O answer, "She's a sleep." He walked towards the sleeping girl and was about to wake her up, to see if she had put the tent up.
"Don't," Isha yelled but not loud enough to wake the girl up. She looked down from where she was, "You do not want to wake her up. Truest me, it is not the best idea." she warned. Climbing down the mushroom tree she pulled the lion away form her cousin. She turned towards the others, "here's an advice; never wake her up. Not unless you want to end up hurt. I'm use to her actions when we wake her up, but trust me, she could hurt you." She then crossed her arms, "Besides she didn't do anything. She was too tired to wake up, and I didn't even wanted to get up."
They turned toward the two kits, as they also climb down. "We're starving," wilykit whinned as she slid down the rest of the way.
They ran toward the sack that held their food, "Yeah, what's there to eat?" he said as he looked, then tried to reach for any food. He lifted the bag upside down, only crums fell down. "Aw," they both whined.
"We're gonna have to do something about our food situation," Lion-O said as he looked at the two kittes that were on the ground.
Wilykit shook the bag one more time then dropped her head. Wilykats eyes widen as he noticed something, "it looks like someone already did," he said as he ran towards baskets that held, different colored fruit. He laughed happily as he looked at the food, his sister then ran toward him.
"All go wake Aideen up," Isha said as she walked toward the sleepy girl.
The panther walked toward the food, where both Wilykat and his sister were devouring the fruit. He grabbed one and examend it before taking a bite, "hmm, Candy fruit," he said as he turned toward the others.
Tygra looked toward the two kitts, "Uh, take it easy," he said, "We don't need you anymore hyper than you already are." Both kitts by then were already eating fast as the sugar had finally taken its effect on them.
"Seems like," cheetara started, she looked towards the lion, "we have someone helping us out."
"The question is, who?" the lion said.
"Watch out!" Isha yelled as she ran toward the Lion. Just as Lion-O turned around he was tackled down as a knife flew above them.
The panther ran toward the two, "What happen?" he asked as he looked down at them. The older girl pointed toward a tree, where a knife was stuck on.
"Who did that?" Cheetara asked as she looked down.
"This is what happens when you wake her up," Isha said as she pointed toward the girl that was now standing up.
Aideen dusted her pans as she yawned and walked towards them. Her hand undoing her long braid, as she now needed to brush it. She looked at the thundercats that were looking at her. "What?" she asked with a raised eyebrow.
Isha stood from the floor, "you almost killed, Lion-O" she said as she pointed to the knife that was stuck to the tree, she then helped the lion up.
"Oh," she Aideen replied as she looked at the lion, "Sorry," she smiled at him sheepishly.
"So this is what you mean by getting hurt," the tiger realized.
"Yep," Isha nodded then rubbed her arm, "that and the fact that she really know how to punch."
Round metal furry, like balls, rolled toward the thunder tank. Once close enough, the ball turned in to robot bears. They opened part of the tank and began to work. "What are they doing?" Isha asked as she looked from within the trees, Aideen was to her side.
After explaining everything to Aideen, they head behind the trees to see if whoever visit them last nigh, came again. And it seemed it had worked.
"I'll tell you what," the panther said as he looked at the other with a clenched fist. "They're messing with my baby," he ran toward the tank.
"Panthro, wait," lion-O called out to him in a whispered voice.
Aideen looked at the young king, "Well, this remind me of someone," she said as she remember the time the prince wouldn't listen.
"What are you furry freaks doing to my tank," Panthro said as he ran toward the bears. They noticed him and turned back in to a ball, in order to get away. One of them wasn't fast enough and got caught by the cat, "Gotcha."
"Put me down," the brown bear said in a robot voice.
The others ran toward him, they stood in front of the bear. "What is that thing?" Cheetara asked.
"Put me down," the robot bear said once again, this time panthro let him down.
"Ro-bear-bill," the robot said as he looked at the others, "a ro-bear-berbil."
"Did he say gerbil?" Tygra asked, not really understanding what he said. Aideen, who was next to him, shrugged. She didn't understood either.
"Berbil" the bear replied again.
"Derbil?" Panthro asked.
"Berbil" he repeated once more.
"Herbal... derbilly... berbil.. herbal" Lion-O said as he tired to say the name, but was unsure of how it was pronounce.
"Its Berbil," Isha said then looked at the bear, "Right?" she asked wanting to make sure she was right. The robot bear nodded.
"Nice to meet you, robear-bill," Wilykit said with a fast voice, as she was very hipper. Both kits had a fruit on their hands, "I'm Wilykit and this is Wilykat, and were Thundercats!" She then pointed toward the two half-humans, "Well, except for Aideen and Isa, they're both half-shannen, half-human." They then resumed to eat the fruit.
Aideen shook her head, "Okay, that's enough," she said as she took the fruit away, making them whine.
"I don't think that's a good idea," Tygra said.
Aideen looked at him, "Don't worry. I have dealt with this kind of situations before. Right, Isa?" she said as she turned towards her cousin, who just smiled her way.
"Thunder..cats?" the berbil asked as he looked at the other, "Berbil help Thundercats." Soon they were surrounded by the once that had scatter around, their eyes were all on the human and cats. There were berbils of different color and height.
"I've never seen anything so.." the young king said, as he tried to find the right word to describe them.
"Cute!" Isha squealed as she looked at them. She grabbed one of them, then hugged it. Aideen rolled her eyes as she avoided the kitt's that were trying to get the fruit back.
The ro-bear began to work on the tank. "They'll be cute and dead if they hurt my tank," Panthro commented as he looked at them work. After a few seconds the engine began to work again.
"Looks like they fixed it, Panthro," Tygra said.
"Heh. Its just a patch," the panther said as he scoffed, "I could have thought of that."
"Sure, you could," Isha commented as she came from behind the younger girl. She the took one of the fruit from her and ran away.
"Hey!" Aideen yelled as she watched the girl walk away. "Don't you dare eat that, Isha. The last think I want is you being hipper," she order but was unheard as the older girl began to eat the fruit. She shook her head, "oh, great. Now I'm going to have to deal with her."
The brown berbil jumped from the tank, "Go with ro-bear bill. Berbils fix machines," he said as he tried to pull the lion, only to have himself be lifted in the air, "Berbils give candy fruit. Berbils help thundercats."
They began to fallow the berbil. "You coming?" Aideen asked as she turned toward the panther who was till by the tank.
"Fine," he said as he looked to the side, "But I don't truest anything that adorable." This made Aideen chuckled.
They began to fallow the berbils toward a small village, within the mushroom forest. Aideen was in the middle between Tygra and Lion-O, looking around in awe at the place before her. Panthro drove his tank with Wilykat and Kit on top of it, and Cheetara next to it. Isha was behind Aideen happily eating her fruit, with the sugar beginning to take effect.
"I've never see anything like this," Aideen said as she observed her surrounding. The village was fill with fruit candy trees. There were different kind of technology, which wasn't really strange as they were robot bears. Some of the machine's were being use to pick up candy fruit.
"It's like they have a contraption for everything," Lion said, while looking around.
"This place gives me the creeps," panthro stated, he glanced to the sides not trusting the place one bit.
"I think this place is incredible," Aideen commented as she smiled with excitement. Lion-O smiled at her, while Tygra gave a small grin.
All of a sudden, something rushed by them, leaving some dusk as it left. Aideen and the rest looked at what had past them and noticed the half-human that had run at a fast speed. "See yah!" the older girl called out as she headed toward the fruit candy, her hands extended in front of her, ready to grab her target.
Aideen stared wide eyed as the girl used air to jump onto the trees."Wait!" she called out as she began to run towards her. "Damn, Isa! I told you not to eat that fruit," she shouted as her cousin tried to avoid her. It didn't help that the girl had well control of her element, as she just made herself more faster, while Aideen didn't. "I thought you were the older one here, Isha! Why can't you listen!" The thundercats watched as the girl, who was very hipper, tried to avoid being caught. At seeing the younger girls face they could tell her patience's was running out. "Once I get my hand on you, you'll wish that knife had gotten you this morning!"
"You don't think she means that?" the lion asked as he watched the two half-humans.
Tygra looked at his brother, "If this morning is anything to go by, then yes. I think she means it."
There attention left the two girls as the berbils ran toward them, cheering in their robotic voices. A golden color house stood in front of them, from withing were to berbils. The smaller robot bear rolled out and ran towards ro-bear-bill, and was lifted in the air then spun around.
He was put on the ground in front of them, "Meet ro-bear-Bebo." The other pink bear walked next to him, "Meet ro-bear-bella. This is ro-bear-bill family," he introduced. Once of the machines made it way toward them, some fruit hung from a net behind it.
"Candy fruit," ro-bear-bill said as he two of the fruits out, "Eat. good," he hand them two the two kitts that were kneed down in front of them.
"Yum, Candy fruit," Wilykit said as she grabbed the fruit and began to eat, or so she would but a surten half-human used her speed and took their fruits making. "Hey!" they called out to Isha, who was already far away.
The younger girl stopped in front of them as she was out of breath. Aideen growl as she looked at her cousin leave, "oh, now she will get it." She said but decided not to fallow her anymore, no, she would make her suffer later. She looked as the kitts grabbed another fruit and began to eat it. With a shake of her head, she walked towards the the tiger and lion.
Tygra looked at her, "What happen to your cousin?" he asked as he looked for the older girl. Aideen pointed toward one of the trees, where Isha was sitting, eating very comfortably. The tiger looked back at her, "Weren't you going to catch her?" he smirked as the girl glared at him.
"Not.. yet," she replied calmly, "Nope, not now. But when I do, she will regret haven not listen to me," her expression had turned serious that both the cats looked at her, worried for the older girl. Aideen then gave a small smile as she walked towards snarf.
"Looks like you were worried about nothing, Panthro," Cheetara said.
Panthro walked away from her, towards the bear in the machine. "You really think these fur balls are helping use and don't expect something in return?"
Lion-O turn toward the panther, he stood, "have you consider maybe they're just nice," he said.
An alarm was heard as red wave light began to glow, the half-humans and cats turned toward the sound. "What's going on?" Isha said as she stood next to Tygra, not wanting to be close to Aideen, as she knew what would happen if she did.
They watched the ro-bears rolled away, into a small pod. Then there was an explosion
They turned toward ro-bear-bill, "Conquedor comes," he informed, "Conquedor takes berbils. Sells berbils as slaves."
Aideen and Isha stared wide eye at the bear, "What!" they said, anger soon flashed in their eyes. No one was meant to be treated like that. The ground shook, but this time not from an explosion. Both girls turned as they heard the sound of a machine coming toward them.
From the flames and smoke a mechanical tank appeared. The lid open and a mechanical man came from within, he was made of heavy metal, two tubes coming from each side and connecting to were the mouth would be. His two glasses eyes looked around until they spotted a blue ro-bear, trying to run away. They zoomed in, then he went back inside the tank. The tank moved forward, as a metal claw hand extended and grabbed the target, ro-bear.
"Help ro-bear-bob," the blue ro-bear said in his robotic voice, his hand extended toward them.
Cheetara narrowed her eyes, "We have to stop that," she said as she took her staff out, twirling it above her before holding it firmly in front of her.
"What did I tell you guys? Try to use their cuteness to get us to fight their battle." Panthro said as he stood up.
"Well, looks like it worked," the lion replied. He put his gauntlet, while Tygra grabbed his whip. Each one of them ready to for battle.
"Who cares!" Isha shouted, angry at the creature that were taking the kind bears. Aideen stayed quite, calm, and collected. She moved away from the others, making sure to not be seen.
The giant claw moved forward as a compartment opened. Lion-O moved forwards as the claw was about to drop the ro-bear, but was stop by Isha, who had seen her cousin coming closer to the tank. Just as the claw dropped the bear, Aideen ran fast and jumped high enough, thanks to a branch that was sticking out of the floor. She grabbed the bear and was about to hit the ground, but with a quick move of her hand, she took out some of the water that she could feel around her. The small water froze, making a small slide for her to slid on. Once on the ground she let the bear go, and watched him roll away.
The tank turned toward her, but she had a blank expression. The rest walked towards her, as the lid re-opened and the small mechanical creature looked towards them. "So the berbils have enlisted the help of the fable Thundercats," he said, then looked toward the two half-humans. "And two shannens, hmm." To say he was pleased at finding rare creatures, was the least. He was was already planing how much he would sell them for. The Conquedor took out a weapon and loaded, "Risking your lives for a bunch of junk heaps?" he then hit his head, "And I thought this robots were brainless fools."
Lion-O un-shield, he thrushed to the side, making it extend. He held it in front of him, "Thundercats, Ho!" he shouted. They separated as the mechine began to fire its gone toward the lion. Lion-O dodged every one of them, once far enough from him. The conquedor aim at Tygra, who was able to dodge the blue beams. He jumped up, his whip surrounding him, turning him invisible.
"Okay, all admit that was cool," Isha admitted. She turned but notice her cousin gone, and that made her worried. If the conquedor knew what they were, then he know how much some were willing to pay if they had a shannen as a slave. She used her wind to avoid being hit by the beams. Right, now she couldn't worry about her cousin.
At not seeing the tiger he then began to aim at the cheetah. Using her speed, she was able to dodged the blue beams and even the green ones that began to shoot at her, from beneath the tank. Soon, the machine began to laugh as he was mocking the cats. His laughter soon stopped, as some one grabbed his throat, making him unable to breath. Tygra became visible again as his arm was around his neck, he struggled for a while then moved his hand toward his wrist. He pressed a red button, at what looked like a watch, electrocuting the tiger. Tygra cried in pain and fell of the tank, hitting the ground as he was unconscious.
"Tygra!" his brother cried out as he looked toward the tiger. He ran toward him, with panthro behind him. But the conquedor fire again hitting Panthro, and covering him in blue slime.
Aideen ran toward the tank and used her water power to stop the beams from getting the bears. She looked toward the tiger and ran toward him, but stopped as she saw the conquedor get back inside the tank. The giant machine began to move forward, she looked as it came toward her. Turning she noticed the two bears trying to run away. Aideen bit her lip and ran toward the two trying to get to them before the tank.
The giant claw extended once more and grabbed a hold of the two bears. Aideen tried to ran faster in order to get to the two bears, before they disappeared into the tank. She jumped and was able to jump high enough to grabbed to the side of the tank. She began to climb up.
"Bella. Bebo," Ro-bear-bill said as he watched the claw lift his family up. He turned into a ball and rolled toward them. Before they were up in the air, he extended his hand grabbing ro-bear-bella's. He tired to hold on but the claw shook, throwing him in the end. The bear stumble on the ground until he was shut down, while electricity seeped out from within him.
Aideen watched as the bear stop moving, she was angry now. She was hard to anger but she was, she turned as scary as her mother. Correcting her feet she jumped up on to the tank, once on top she saw the bears about to be drooped. Moving quick she was able to grab onto the young bear, but not the other one. Before the lid could close she pulled out the bear and held him. "Are you alright," She asked as he nodded his head. "Don't worry, well get your mother soon. But for now, you need to leave." She looked around and walked toward the edge of the tank, they were moving and jumping would be a bad idea. She extended her hand, water moved towards her, just like before she us the water to make a slide. Before she froze it, the lid from the tank open, as the machine pooped his head out.
He looked toward her, "What are you doing?!" he said as he notice her at the edge of the tank. Aideen didn't wasted a second before freezing the water and sliding the bear down. He landed and rolled away. Aideen felt an electric shot run threw her. "Arn't I lucky," he said as the girl was beginning to loss concise. She had miscalculated and made a mistake, she should have know he would came after her. "you will make me a fortune."
Once the tank was gone, the tiger regain concise. He grabbed his head with a groan as he began to recover from the electroshock. Isha helped Panthro get the slime off. Cheetara walked towards them with ro-bear-bill, "Lion-O its Ro-Bear-Bill. He doesn't look good," she said.
The bear was not functioning as was taking to a room where the other ro-bears surrounded them. They began to work on trying to fix him, while the thundercats looked as they work.
Wilykit grabbed her hand, she turned to the others with a worry expression, "Can they fix him?" she asked. The others didn't answer as they weren't sure. The bears worked on trying to make him function again, but so far it wasn't working. They turned to one another, and began to talk in their robotic language.
Panthro sigh and moved forward, "I can't take watching this amateurs." He got close to them and took one of the tools form the ro-bear. "Give me that. You're doing it all wrong," he said as he bent down and began to work.
"Good idea," one of the ro-bears said to him, "Now reset function levels." Panthro didn't say anything but turned and glared at him, before turning back and resuming his work. Whilykit looked worried, then relaxed when her brother put a hand on her shoulder.
After a while, panthro stood up as the rest gather around them. Ro-bear-bill stood up, fully functioning. "All circuits functional." he said then turned toward the panther, "Ro-bear-Bill live," he did a few moves, checking his limbs.
"He's looking good now," Panthro commented.
"Looking good," he replied then slid down the table. He hugged the older cats leg, "Cat save Bill. Thank you, cat Cat builder, too." The panther felt unconformable with bear clenched on his leg. Others cheered and walked toward the panther, "Love-the-panthro. Love-the-panthro," they said as they also began to hug him.
"Okay, that's enough," the panther said as he grabbed his head.
Tygra and Lion-O shrugged, then walked out. The young king looked at the destroyed village, he looked down in sadness.
Ro-bear-bill rolled toward his side, then sat down. Lion-O bent down as he looked at him, "My-Bella, my-Bebo, taken. Ro-bear-Bill's family" his voice, even thought was robotic, was fill with sadness.
"Lion-O! Tygra!" they heard making then turned. Isha ran toward then with a small blue bear in her arms. Ro-bear-bill stood and walked toward the now rolling bear. He lifted him up, before hugging him. Isha turned to the others "he took Aideen," she said as her fist was clench.
"What do you mean he took Aideen!" the tiger said as he stood next to her. "Wasn't she with you?!"
Isha turned toward him, "No, she wasn't." She sigh as she tried to control her anger, "She saw him take ro-bear-bill's family. And decided to go after them but was only able to rescue the smaller one. Before she could get out he shock her."
"We need to get her back," Lion-O stated worried about the young girl. He turned toward ro-bear-bill. Do you know where the conquedor has taken your Aideen and Bella?"
"Conquedor sells Berbils. Robear Bill knows." Ro-bear-bill said as he let go of the young ro-bear.
"Then can you take us there," he siad then turned to were the panther was, "Panthro, you keep an eye in the village."
"Whoa, whoa, whoa. There's no way you're leaving me here with this things." Panthro siad as he walked out only to find them gone, "Great."
The conquedor held the reins of a blue cat like animal, but was higher and had teeth like a saber tooth. His tank was surrounded by giants and what looked like bulldogs. "Dragged this filthy wrench straight down from hope mountain," the mechin said as the cat raw. He looked at his costumers, "If you want to get some entertainment out of executing prisoners, this guy's always hungry," he informed, "Let's kick off the bidding at 500 shillings."
"There conquedor sells to bad ones." Ro-bear-bill said as they looked from atop of a cliff. They were all cover with blue cloaks, "Trollogs, giantors, all bad." They looked to at an open room, "Bella." The pink ro-bear was tied by red electricity wire.
Isha looked toward the bears and could see Aideen, "oh, thank god she's alright," She said as she put her hand on her heart. She then clunched her hand, "I'm gonna kill him for taking my cousin," she mutter.
Tygra glanced at her , mentally agreeing, then turned back, "We can't take them all on," he said, even thought he wanted to get to the girl, who was trying to free herself, but to no vain.
"I think I got an idea," the lion said
"Sweet, sweet, sugar golden goodness," wilykit said as she extended her hand, that held a fruit, in front of her. She then began to eat it, both kitts eyes were wide form the sugar rush.
While the two were becoming to hipper, panthro was in side getting a message. He walked out as the ro-bears drove his tank toward him, "Panthro help berbils. Berbils help Panthro," one of them said.
Panthro climb his tan and looked at it, "You put in a new engine," he said as he looked in amazes at the new engine his tank now had. He looked at them, "But, heh, where did you get the parts?" he asked
"Berbil make part," they replied to him.
"You mean my hunk of junk," he whipped a tear away with his finger, "is no longer a hunk of junk?" he said before beginning to cry.
"Panthro eyes rain," the berbil said not compliantly understanding what was going on.
"Next up, the robear berbils," the conquedor said as the bebils stood in a platform. "Best builder money can buy. Efficient, tireless, and most important, defenseless." He then pulled a rope making the half-human stubble. A gag was on her mouth, "but before that. Let me introduce, one of the planet's rares specimen. A shannen, with the power to control the elements. As long as you keep her hands tied and mouth close, she will do anything you say," the others looked at her, something about how much she could be worth. "But I will say she does need... discipline," Aideen glared at the machine, her cheek stinging, from his 'disciple.' "Bidding starts at two thousand for this one and one-thousand for the lot. Let us start with the shannen who says two-thousand" Some began to raise their hands, "How about three-thousand." More began to rise their hands, "Now, were talking."
"Then thousand," one bedded making the other turned toward him. He and his companions wore blue cloaks.
"That's a lot of shillings, pal," the conquedor said as he pulled a rifle "How do you plan on paying for all of that?" Behind him Aideen smile as she realize who was behind the cloak.
He took of the cloak, reveling the lion king. He unshield his sword, "In steel," he said as the other took of their cloaks as well. The conquedor pointed his gun toward the lion ready to fit, but the girl behind him used her head to push him from behind. The lion ran toward the blue cat and cut his chains.
One he was lose, the cat ran toward the conquedor and slap the from his hands. He then turned and frighten the customers away. The machine tried to shoot the cat as he had gotten the gone back, but was stop as the tiger used his whip to take the weapon from his hands.
Lion-O ran toward Aiden, he slash the chains that were holding her hands behind her. "Are you alright?" He asked as he took the gag from her.
"Yeah," she answer, she smile up at him, "I knew you would come." He smile back at her before they stood up and ran towards the others.
"Bella," ro-bear said as he hugged the pink bear. After they hugged, the rest of the berbil rolled down and began to leave, both half-humans and cats ran right behind them. The customers and conquedor watched as they left.
"That's it," the machine said as he raised his hand the others right behind him. "You messed with the wrong guy. I'm gonna gut every last one of you," he shouted as the others held weapons on their hands, "You hear me?! We're coming back. All of use"
Both wilykit and Kat wait close to the enter a of the village. Kat had a fruit in his hand. "They're back," Wilykit yelled as she stood from where she was laying and ran to greet them. Panthro and the rest were behind them. The berbils hugged one another. Both wilykit and kat hugged the younger girl.
"You're alright!" They shouted and Aideen smile down at them.
"We can't celebrate yet," lion-O said as they watched the berbils. Aideen nodded, agreeing with him. She was then pulled by her cousin.
"The conquedor's coming back," cheetara said, "and this time, hes bringing friends."
"We have some friends of our own," panthro said, meaning the berbils.
"Except they don't know how to fight," Tygra pointed out. As the others were talking Isha was looking to see if the conquedor had done anything to her. After all he did say something that made her think he did.
"But they do know how to build," panthro replied, but the others looked at him skeptical. Panthro looked Dow at the berbils, "You guys ready to save your village." Ro-bear-bill saluted at while he saluted back. Their moment though was interrupted.
"He's dead!" They heard from behind them. The cats turned to find an angry Isha, who holding Aideens face. The other girl looked annoyed and flinch as the older girl ran her finger over her left cheek.
Aideen slapped her hand away, and rolled her eyes, "stop it. Its fine."
"It- its" Isha was at a lost of words, she didn't know what to say. Her brain couldn't comprehend what her cousin had just said.
"Whats going on?" Cheetara asked.
IIsha turned her face fast toward the female cat. "He hit her, " she said as she turned the younger girls head, showing a red Mark. The mark was swollen and was long, going from her cheek all the way to her ear. Aideen removed her cousins hand, she cover the mark once she saw the look of both the tiger and lion wore, after seeing the red mark.
"And I said, I was fine," the younger girl said as she glare at her cousin. She looked at the thundercats, "besides we have better things to worry about."
"What do you mean?!" The tiger exclaimed as he walked to see the mark. His eyes flashed with anger, reminding her of when her older brother used to get mad. "This is important."
Aideen shook her head, "No, it not because it already happen. We need to worry about what's yet to happen. The village need help, the mark was already made, the village and the berbils are still here."
The thundercats stared at her, in surprise at her response. The panther finally spoke, "I don't understand you," he said, the thought had bother him sense she told them about her past.
"We don't have time," she said as she understood what he meant. "Whatever you want to say can be said later."
Lion-O looked at his friend, then nodded, "well talk about this later. For now lest focus on helping the bears."
Everyone of the berbils worked on creating a machine. Whatever think they could built that was going to help. Panthro began to help to-bear,bill on constructing a machine. Isha was with them, while Aideen was off helping in other things. "Isha pass me that tool," the panther said a as his attention was in the inside of the machine.
Isha grabbed the tool and past it to him, "you can call me Isa. That's what my family calls me," she as she looked at where his attention was focused on. Panther looked at the girl then turned his attention back to the machine. Isha sow this and raised an eyebrow, "what? I know you want to say something, so say it."
After a few seconds he spoke, "your different than your cousin."
Isha scratch the back of her head, "um, thanks?" She said hesitantly. She then folded her harms as she leaned on the machine. "I know it had to understand how she can to get about what someone has done to her. Or why she can just forgive someone easy, put that's how Aideen is. She's...kind. A very kind hearted girl, who loves everyone no matter who they are. Or what has happen in their past."
The panthe looked at her, "that's what I don't understand. How can she smile, laugh and forgive someone after all she's been threw."
Isha hummed as she thought about how to answer the panther. She knew it was hard for some to understand Aideen. She sigh, "I was the same, you know. Wondering how she could just smile and laugh as if nothing happen. But... I guess I just understood that, that was who she was. She is... hmm, what you would call the voice of reason. She doesn't make decisions bast on one thing. She always looked at both perspective." With a shrugged the girl answer honestly, "that's why I can't always leave her alone, sometimes the most kind people tend to be the target of darkness. She's that type of person," she smile brightly, "almost like the berbils. Their very kind to."
Panthro smiled at the older girl. She was right, in everything she said. Both began to earn until the machine was done, "what do you think?," he asked as he stood up and gave a thumbs up. "Looking good, huh."
The berbil looked up at him, "looking-good," he reputed as he gave a thumbs up as well. Isha looked and gave a small giggle.
By night fall, Lion-O, Tygra, cheetara, and Aideen stood by the cliff as they were looking out for the conquedor. Soon, they saw the conquedor and his friends walking toward them.
"Here they come," lion-O said as he stared at the distance.
Aideen was next to him, her eyes calculating every move they made. Her mother always told that it was easy to know ones weakness by watching their actions.
"Let's hope these bears know what they are doing," Tygra said as he glanced at the village.
Aideen kept her eyes on the moving tank, "something tells me they'll be fine."
The young king looked at his friend, "how do you know?"
She turned toward the other who were wondering the samething. She just shrugged, "I just am," she replied then turned her attention back to the tank. "But, I'm never wrong." They turn back to watch the tank come closer. The lion took his sword out from his gauntlet swinging it.
"Thunder," he said as the sword began to extend. He sung it again, "thunder," the sword extended. "Thunder," the sword taken it final length was lifted in the air. "Thundercats, Ho!" A red beam was shot to the sky, the cats symbol shining bright, signaling the others.
From on top of a hill, panthro saw the signal, "That's our cue," he said. He turned towards ro-bear-bill "You want to do the honors?"
"Go," the bear replied. They drive down the hill at a high speed, trembling from the bumped on the hill.
From the sides, Isha waited with the bearbil. They watched as some of the giantors and trollors began to advance toward the village. Isha nodded at the blue berbil, he signaled the others to fire. Metal balls that were attached to wires, grabbed onto conquedors tank. Lightens was shot threw the wire, jolting the tank making it malfunction, for now. This caught the attention of a giantor, who turned around but his attention shifted as he was hit by fruits from behind. He turn around and saw wilykat and kit next to a fruit throwing machine. He was hit again by th fruit, while the tank behind him began to move.
Wilykat held a fruit in his hand, "Candy fruit, do your thing," he said as he bit into the fruit. In an instant his tail lifter up with all of his hairs spiking up. The sugar entering his system, making him hyped up. Wilykit followed his lead taking a big bite of the fruit, the something happening to her. The began to taunt the giant, when they saw him use his club to try and hit them, they moved to either side of him.
The giantor turned his head towards the Kitts. "Come on, you big goon," wilykit taunted as she stood to his side. "Try and catch us, you can't can you? Cause you're to slow," she kept in taunting, "Nanananana," in a fast speed, the girl jump away as s the giant tried to hit her.
"We'll even stop and you still won't get us," wilykat said as the giants attention shifted to him. "I dare you to try. Bet you can't. Come on, Come on," he jumped away as the giantor tried to swing at him as well. The kitts kept taunting him and avoiding his swings, they lead him toward a wire, where he tripped and fell on a car that held wood. He rolled over in pain, while clenching his face.
Wilykat then turned back toward the fruit throwing machine. He looked at his fruit, "I love you, Candy fruit," he said as he then took a bite.
In another part, a giantor took of a wire that was wrapped around his legs. A trollors looked at the giant, he yelped as he felt pain from behind. He turned his head and looked at snarf, who was bitting him. He shook the cat off, and snarf stuck his tongue out, angering him. He began to chase him. Snarf jumped into a hole in the ground. He looked inside before jumping in as well. At not findings the cat, he looked out the hole. Snarf was to his right, and just when he was about to get the cat, green slippery slime was shot at him, making him slip back inside the hole. The bear that shot the slime cheered.
At seeing what the berbil had made, Tygra whistle. They were all impress which what had happen. The lion turned towards Aideen, "guess you were right," he said but Aideen wasn't paying much attention. Her eyes scanning for the conquedors tank, but she caught a glimpse of a giantor coming toward a group of bearbils. She left quickly unnoticed to the others, or sho she thought, as both tiger and lion had learn she tended to leave without the other knowing. The giantor came closer to the berbils as they tried to hid from him, but were trapped between him and a metal wall. She threw water on the ground just under the giantor, making him look her way. She gave e a small smile as she put down her hand and froze the water underneath him. He slipped on the ice floor, his back hitting the ground. Two trollors ran towards her hoping to grabe the girl, but were met with an icy floor. Aideen then used the frozen water to make, blades at the bottom of her boots. She skit across the ice and grabbed the berbils taking them to safety, while the trollors and grantor tried to get up only to slip again.
The looked at where the other were and gave a smile to lion-O who was looking at her. Cheetara then bent down and used her fast speed. She grabbed a rope and circled a giantor, then pulled. The rope was across his face, and at being pulled the giantor stumbled back towards a flat platform. In an instant, the giantor was thrown in the air far away. The little blue bear began to cheer from where he was hiding.
"Hooray!" Ro-bear-beebo cheer as he stood with his hands in the air. His cheering was cut short as a hand grabbed him from behind. "Help, It's got me," the to-bear said as the trollors looked at him, one came closer to the small bear. He was knocked out, the other looked at him wondering what had happen. Before being punched in the face, knocking him out along with the other, the small bear was thrown in the air but was caught by the tiger as he had turn visible. Tygra looked at the bear as a trollor came from behind. Without even turning around, the tiger hit him, knocking him out as well.
From the side, Aideen watched as the conquedors tank was chased by panthro. He open the tanks lid and looked out. Panthro tried to push him to the side, in order to tip the tank, but it was bigger and heavier than his own tank. The cat then tried to get in his way, but that was a mistake, as the tank was flipped to the side. The conquedor kept driving straight, making the panther look at what was ahead of him. A rock wall stood in front of the two tanks, getting closer and closer to the flip tank. Panthro drove to the side just in time to avoid getting crush. But didn't stop the machine from pushing the tank up the hill, he kept on pushing and pushing until the tank spinner down towards a cliff. "Hang tight little buddy," panthro said, he grabbed tight onto the steering wheel, as the tank kept spinning.
"Make it stop, please," ro-bear-bill replied.
The tank finally stoped as half of it was hanging from the cliff. But the conquedor drove toward the tank and began to shot it, trying to push it back. "It's time to see how tough this new engine really is," panthro commented as he speed the tank towards the conquedor. Both coming close towards one another. The machine laughed as the panther smirked at him. Two claws shot towards the big tank, throwing it of to the side. Panthro drove towards the damage tank, he stood up and looked at the tank. The conquedor came out of the tank, as lion-O jumped on top of the flipped car.
"I should have warn you," the young king said as he looked down at the machine, "Panthro doesn't like people messing with his tank.
"What do I care?" The conquedor exclaimed. He was stubborn and even though he knew he it was already over, he wouldn't give up. "I'll just force these worthless robots to build me another," he grabbed the rifle that was to his side, "and demolish any that don't listen." He shot toward the lion, but a gash of wind detected the blast upwards. Isha stood at the bottom of the tank, her fishing with anger, and if one looked closely her eyes were darker than normal.
"You still don't understand," the lion said as he jump down. "These bears," He swung his sword at the machine, clashing it with the rifle. "Are not," he gave another swing, the conquedor was pushed back, "your property." At the last swing, the rifle broke in have and the conquedor was sent to the ground. Lion-O pointed his sword at the machine on the ground. At seeing the conquedor defeated both trollors and giantors ran away, with the conquedor following them from behind.
"Yeah," bearbil said as he raised his hands. Everyone cheered, happy at having won. Lion-O looked down at the other, happy at being able to help them.
"Told ya everything was going to be fine," the young girl said from behind him. Lion-O turned and smile at her.
"Yeah, you were right," he replied as he rubbed the back of his head.
Aideen stood next to him, her arms crossed, "I'm always right. You just need to listen." Both smile at one another.
In the back, Isha tilted her head at swing the smile both friends gave one another. She put her finger on her chin. She had mix feelings for what this could mean, but for now she wanted to see the scene unfold. And perhaps if everything begins to turn out right, she could give a small push. With that thought in mind, she left wanting to get another fruit candy. After having fallen in love with the fruit, but deep down she knew she was in trouble once Aideen got her hands on her.
The next morning, Aideen stretched and began to walk around the village. She watched at the berbils began to repair their homes. Some watched her walk around and waived at her, to which she smile and waved back. Her smile soon vanish as she saw her cousin with the cats, with the exception of panthro, as he was fixing something in the tank. Her face changed from happy to serious as the older girl was eating the fruit.
"I don't think the conquedor will be coming back anytime soon," lion-O said as he watched the berbils work.
"Not with the village rigged like this," Tygra said as he watched the kits play in one of the tramps.
Isha nodded her head as she took another bite, "yeah, no kidding." She kept on eating her fruit, the sugar rush was currently under control. Just as she was about to get another bite, she stoped as a cold shiver ran down her spine. That could only mean one thing; Aideen was going to get her. "Oh, shot!" She exclaimed, then ran away.
Aideen Stoped as she watched her cousin run. "Isha! Put that stupid fruit down, right now!" She yelled as her cousin was a few feet away from her. The other cats looked at her as they waited for the older girls respond.
Isha whined, "oh, come one! Can't I just have this fruit?" She said as the younger girl gave her a serious face her arms knew it wasn't a good ideas to anger her but she really liked the fruit.
"Do you know how many you've eaten?" Aideen asked.
Isha shock her head, then looked at the fruit. It was so tempting that she bite onto it then finished it all. She turned to see Aideen mad at her actions, and then ran as the younger girl ran after her.
"I have to admit," panthro began as he looked at ro-bear-bill, who was cleaning one part of the tank. "despite your cuddly appearance, you guys are grade 'A' builders in my book," he praised as the bear looked at him.
"Berbils love Panthro," the bear replied. Leaving what he was doing, he walked towards panthro his arms extended. "Hug.
"A hug?" Panthro repeated then turned to the left, a little embrace. "I-I'm not really a hugger," he stutter.
"Hug!" The bear insisted. Panthro looked both ways before giving in.
"Oh, what the heck?" The cats said as he extended his arms. Not cat and to-bear hugged, the older cat had a grin on his face.
"Busted," wilykat said as he stood on top of the tank with his sister to the side.
"Panthro's a big old softie," wilykit teases, her hands clapped together as she looked at the cat.
Panthros expression turned serious, "Is that a problem?" He asked frightening both Kitts.
"Nope," wilykit said as both her and her brother stood straight.
"It's cool," Wilykat replied as they both left.
Both panthro and ro-bear-bill laughed At the faces the two kids made.
Aideen walked back to the thundercats, her expression was calm. "Hey," she said casually as the others looked at her.
"What happen to Isha," cheetara asked, after not seeing the older girl.
"She's throwing up in the bushes," the younger girl replied. The cats looked at one another in confusion.
"What?" The tiger asked, not understanding what she meant.
Aideen sigh, she looked up at the other. "You see, Isha can't have to much sweet things, as she tends to get sick. That's why I tried to take away the fruit. Once she starts eating sweet things, she never stops. And now she's throwing up in the bushes, she won't be able to me move for a while."
"So, what? When have to wait here until she get better?" The panther asked, annoyance clear in his voice.
She shook her head, "no of course not," the girl replied. "She'll just have to deal with it. I told her not to eat it but she still wouldn't listen."
Just then Isha walked towards them. Her face was pale and she was holding her stomach. "I'm sorry, Aideen" the girl said as she tried not to throw up. The others looked at her with worry.
"It's fine, Isha. But next time listen when someone tells you something," the younger girl said, making the other nod her head. Aideen then crossed her arms, "this does not mean you're off the hook. Nope, your so getting it for making me chase you and now for making me take care of you."
Isha hung her head, knowing there was no escaping her now. The others were begging to fell sorry for the older girl, well with the exception of one. As Tygra found this situation funny.
hope you like it!
