Chapter 106: Doing Whatever It Takes
"Could it work?" Enid asked. "What choice do we have?" Rad responded as they took the glorbs. "Now then, I believe that you have a fight to win" IceBreaker said proudly and Rad levitated himself, Ko, and Enid back into the ring. "Here for another butt kicking?" Negula asked as IceBreaker and Fink went to the outside of the ring to watch the fight. "I don't think so Negula!" Enid declared as she and Rad inserted their glorbs into the collars. Ko stood in the corner of the ring as he channeled TKo. Negula stared in awe as she watched Enid and Rad transform before her very eyes.
"Ready for round two, honey?" Turbo Rad asked and Negula smirked. "Bring it on baby cakes!" she responded and the two began to attack each other like wild beasts and Turbo Enid could only watch as the two constantly slammed each other against the ground.
IceBreaker watched as Ko transformed into PKo and joined Turbo Rad's fight against Negula, Turbo Enid joining them soon after. They all jumped into the air and PKo got ready to attack as he hovered in front of Negula and Turbo Rad and Turbo Enid went behind her.
"It's not too late to stop. Let Nebula go and all this can be over" he said coldly. Negula laughed and Enid sent a cold wind at her. "Really? You know for a fact that I have ice powers! This cold wind only fuels my powers even more!" she boasted and Turbo Enid gasped as Negula absorbed the wind. Turbo Rad sent large finger beams at her and she quickly froze them and sent them flying back at him and his teammates. PKo destroyed them before they could hit and he charged towards Negula with a power fist. She noticed him coming towards her and before she could attack, she was caught in Turbo Rad's levitation beam and then attacked by Turbo Enid's shadow jutsu. Negula quickly broke free of Turbo Rad's levitation beam and froze Turbo Enid's shadow jutsu and sent it hurling back at the heroes. "Ha! Even when you losers get your turbo forms, you still can't beat me!" Negula boasted.
The ground began to rumble and Negula smirked. "It's about time! I was just getting bored" she said as the Lakewood tree rose up from underground with Shadowy Venomous on one of it's branches.
"Every ounce of glorb energy to Lakewood Tree has to offer, it's all for you Negula!" He announced and Negula smirked. "It's the greatest gift a girl could ever want! Thanks Dad!" Negula then laughed evilly as something rose up from out of the tree and zap Negula. "Yes, that's it! All of the Lakewood Tree's power now belongs to me!" she cheered and the heroes could only watch as the Lakewood Tree began to shrivel up. Negula rose high into the air and slammed herself through the ring, effectively breaking it in half. She smirked as she watched Enid and Rad lose their turbo forms.
"It's time honey, now you can drain all of their powers permanently! Remember, just like we practiced" Shadowy Venomous said and Negula's hands began to glow. "You got it Daddy!" she said and she slammed her hands on the ground. A dark energy formed around her and as it grew, the powers of those around her were drained, including PKo's.
Inside Negula's head, Nebula continued to try and escape. She then saw a light below her and she floated towards it. "Could this be the way out?" she wondered as she got closer to the light.
"It's the disempowering dome! Just like TKo's!" Ko gasped. "How are we going to stop her now? Fighting didn't work!" Enid remarked. "But you know what always does?" Rad asked hopefully. Ko gasped happily and the three threw themselves into the dome around Negula and hugged her.
"Nebula! You mean so much to me and whenever I think of the future, I always imagine you and I together. You help me be comfortable with my true self and I want to spend the rest of my life with you!" Rad began and Negula tried to shove him off of her. "You were always one of my best and closest friends. You were always there for me, no matter what. Even when I was bad mouthing you, you still forgave me and stayed by my side" Enid declared and Negula tried to shove her away. "We love you Nebula!" The trio cried. "Can't you see I'm busy?" Negula roared as she shoved all three of them off of her. "Yes! Keep building it! Let nothing get in your way! I don't want a single person on this planet left with their powers" Shadowy Venomous cheered as the dome continued to grow.
He was then blasted off of the tree. He slowly stood up and saw a figure walking towards him. "Looks like I'm not the only one who merged with their turbo form" he commented and he was blasted again as Mr. Gar and Carol went into the dome to try and reason with Negula.
"Nebula, I love you like a father should love his daughter" Mr. Gar strained and IceBreaker felt her heart melt. "You see that? That is what a true father should be" she jeered and Mr. Gar and Carol hugged Negula. "Nebula please, snap out of it! I know the real you is in there!" IceBreaker pleaded. "We may not be perfect" Carol started. "But we're here for you as your family" Mr. Gar finished. "The only family I need is my dad! He lets me do whatever I want!" Negula roared and she threw Carol and Mr. Gar off of her. IceBreaker caught them and set them down. She then charged at Shadowy Venomous and attacked him.
Negula continued to make the dome grow when she noticed Lord Boxman and Boxbot Prime heading towards her. She scoffed and make a fist form from the dome. Boxbot Prime blocked her fist with a shield in the shape of Jethro. "Come on! Put your backs into it!" Lord Boxman cheered. They noticed the dome start to break and as they added more pressure, Negula added more power to the fist and destroyed Boxbot Prime and sent them, Lord Boxman, and Dendy flying towards the sun. Ko cried as they were sent into the sun. "I know the real her is in there" Rad said as he laid on the ground recovering his strength. "We just have to reach her" Ko said through tears. "Last resort?" Rad suggested. They then began to chant Nebula's name. All the citizens of Lakewood then began to join them.
