Into the astral plane

The human girl groaned as she tried to open her eyes. She blanked a couple of times before she looked around her. She was currently in a forest laying down on a blanket. She rubbed her eyes trying to remember what had happen to her. But all she remember was the horrible screaming of people. She could still hear there screaming and the blood she had in her hands was what frighten her shook her head trying to forget about that.

After getting herself together, to some extend as she was still shaken up for what happen, Aideen stood up and took a deep breath. Her heart was racing from the terrible dream. She couldn't remember ever having been in an accident or anything that involved her having blood on her hands. Without thinking she looked down at her gloved hand, there was no blood on them.

"Aideen?" A voice said as the person grabbed the girls shoulder, startling her in the process.

Aideen jumped and backed away. Turning back, she let out a breath and relax after seeing it was only the thundercats. She tried to smile as they looked at her with worried expression. The last thing she wanted was to make them worry.

"Oh, uh," the girl crossed her arms and clenched her hands as she faked a smile, "sorry, I was just thinking about.. something. Where are we?" She asked as she looked around.

"We're not far from the elephant village," lion-O answer as she watched Aideen closely trying o figure out if she was alright. "You fainted back at the forest."

"Oh," she said as she looked up, at not seeing someone she was sure would have jumped on her hand hugged her, Aideen frowned, "where's Isha?"

"She stayed in the forest with Viragor, said she had something to do there," panthro replied this time.

Aideen began to unconsciously tighten her arms. With a frown she asked, "why would she need to stay with viragor?"

Tygra looked at the girl feeling like something was wrong, "she didn't say. The only things she said was to on without her and she would later catch up with us." Aideen look down making the tiger frown, "are you alright?"

Aideen looked up as the others expression asked the same thing, "Yeah, I'm fine. Just wondering what Isha is up to." She looked at lion-O this time, "besides we need to get to the stone, now that we know were it is." With that she turn and began to walk towards the thundertank.

"She seems fine," cheetara commented then turn towards the lion. "Do you think we should tell her what viragor said?"

Lion-O looked at the way the half-human left. He didn't want to hid anything from her. She was meant to know what the forest guardian had said. "I think we should, " he replied.

"I think we shouldn't," Tigra said making his brother turn to him.

"She has the right to know Tygra," the lion objected.

Tygra turn to his brother, "I'm not saying we shouldn't tell her. I think she has a right to know, but not now. Whatever she saw frighten her, if we tell her what Viragor said it could only confuse her in the state shes in. I think we should wait," he finished.

Panthro crossed his arms, "the girl seems fine."

The older prince shook his head, "she's not," he turned and followed the girl.

Aideen was cover with the blanket she had been laying down on. She tried to read her mothers books but she didn't fine anything interesting in them and her mind would got back to the dream. She wanted to know whose blood she had been grabbing but deep down she was to frighten to want the answerds. She turned towards the kitts as wilykit hanged from the tanks ceiling. "I'm exited we're going back to the elephant village. I can't wait to see abern," she said.

"Like he'll even remember you," her brother restored as he looked at his sister. "Whats so great about that place, anyways?" he asked out of curiosity.

Wilykit sat down with her legs crossed, "I guess it just feels like home," she replied with half a smile. Aideen listen to their conversation and gave a small smile.

Wilykats expression turn angry and annoyed. He took out a page with a drawing of a tower, "Well be home when we get to El-dorra," he said with anger in his voice.

Aideen frowned but stayed quite, it wasn't her place to get in. Even if she had before, at the moment she didn't even want to stand up. As if the dream had drained her energy away.

"So the spirit stones been in that blasted hut all along?" panthro asked in annoyance. Both cheetara and Lion-O were behind him while the tiger was to his side.

"Not exactly," the lion said as he look towards the panther, "It's in the astral plane."

Looking back at the young king he asked, "And where on third earth are the astral planes?"

"It's not on third earth at all, panthro," cheetara explained, having studied some of this from Jaga. "The astral plane is a spirit realm. The hut is just a gateway in."

Panthro instead of understanding, got more annoyed, "Is it in the village or isn't it?

"It is, and it isn't," Tygra said making panthro give a low growl of frustration.

"It's not that hard to understand," Aideen said as she stood next to cheetara. She had the blanked over her, holding it tight in order for it to not fly away. "It kind of like a protal. One is able to get threw it in order to enter another place or planet. From what I read in my mothers book, the Astral plane is were all the spirits are. The hut is its gate, but that's not the only one."

Lion-O looked at her in surprise, "It's not?"

Aideen shook her head, "no, there other gates or way to get into the spirit realm. Most wouldn't even want to travel there. I don't know why but there might be something bad. Like isha said there good spirits and bad spirits," she explained. "But the gate don't stay open for too long."

"Then we better get there before it closes," the lion said. They were finally out of the forest and getting closer to the village. Aideen looked up at the sky as she leaned on the tanks side.

Lion-O took out hi sword, with it being fully extended, "It took a while, but I finally got the hang of this thing," he admitted. Aideen smiled his way and would have said something if it wasn't for cheetaras interruption.

"I knew you would," she said, "There was a reason the sword chose you." She grabbed his hand, and both looked into each others eyes for a second before the cheetah went back inside the tank.

Aideen frowned at the females action, 'is she or is she not in love with Tygra? That certainly didn't look like a friendly gesture... Well, not of what she does look like a friendly gesture.' she thought as she looked back at the sky. It wasn't that she hated the cat but her actions can confuse the lion and Tiger.

"It's probably the same reason she's going to chose me," he commented with a loom toward his brother before going inside too. Aideen sigh as neither one of the brothers seem to listen to her.

Tygra looked to the side after what his brother said, "And just like the sword, one more thing you don't deserve," he mutter before looking ahead.

A young tiger stood in the entrance to the palace. He put his helmet on, "No running!" he said as two kittens ran pat him. He turn having seen a female cat walk past him, "Only cats with proper seals past this point. Who goes there?"

A young cheetah walked behind him as he was busy looking inside to notice her, "Can you tell me where the clerics reside?" she asked making him to her.

As seeing her Tygra froze before opening his mouth. "uhh," the tiger stumble unable to say anything. He smiled nervously at her as he began to blush.

"I'm..sorry. I don't speak gibberish," the cheetah said, "Never mind. I'll find it myself," she ran at a high speed past him." The boy gasped as he watched her jump to the top of the stairs were a statue of a cat was. He ran after shortly after.

By the time the tiger got up the stairs he was short out of breath. "You're fast," he said as he took a deep breath.

"You can talk," the cheetah replied as she walked to him.

"You're not supposed to be here thought the proper seal of-" he began but was cut short.

"You going to turn me in?" she asked with a smile.

The boy shook his head then pointed to the side, "It's this way." He lead her to a small part of the palace. At coming in front of the two brown doors she began to knock. The boy watched her before moving to the side and putting his hand on his hip. "What do you want with the clerics, anyways?"

She stop he knocking to turn to him, "I'm here to join. It been my dream since I was a cub," she replied.

The tiger smiled, "Don't get your hopes up. They only take the best." The girl scowled at him making him rephrase himself, "I mean, good luck."

The door creak open making the look towards it. An old cat stood in front of them, "Who seeks to enter this clerisy? State your name and clan," he said.

The girl stood straight, "My name is cheetara of... I don't have a clan," she replied and looked down.

"There is no shame in this," the cat said, "Enter, cheetara." Cheetara walked in and the cat glace at the tiger before closing the door. Tygra stared in surprise at seeing the cheetah allowed to go in. He ran towards the side windows wanting to see what happen.

Inside two clerics were practicing with spires. Striking and blocking their attacked, the others looked from the sides. Cheetara and Jaga stood in front of some spinning blades. "Tell me, child, why should I consider you to be a cleric?" the older cat asked.

"Because I'm the fastest cat you'll ever meet," she stated with pride.

"Prove it," Jaga said in a calm voice, "If you can make it through these speed traps unscathed, we might consider your training." They faced the blades as the other clerics watched.

Cheetara raced with a fast speed, avoiding all of the blades. She speed towards the last obstacle, the blades were larger than the others and instead of being in a stick with several other they were just a couple large and lined up in front of one another. She managed to avoiding most of the blades, but not all as she hit one of them. She stood from the side her breath short. The other clerics didn't move or made a sound as Jaga walked towards her.

"You are, indeed, quick," he said as she looked at him, "perhaps too quick. The final trap was a test of patience." He began to demonstrate as he ran the same obstacle she did. He past threw all of the smaller blade quickly, until he got to the last obstacle. Instead of running ahead he stopped and waited for the right opportunity. In his mind the blades moved slower until they made an opening for him. Without hitting a single one he past across.

Cheetara looked in shook and amazed at what he didn't. Jaga looked down at her, "Speed is a state of body, patience is a state mind," he lectured, "You have great power in the form, but as for the latter," he shook his head.

One of the clerics took her outside before closing the door. The girl ran to the door and began to knock on it, "Please! You can't! I've got nowhere else! None else!" she said as the tiger looked down at her from were he was, "I'm not leaving until you let me in. You hear me?" she sat down in front of the door, "I'm staying right here." Her expression was determine and stubborn. The tiger looked at her in thoughts.

As they ride towards the Elephant village, Aideen looked at Tygra, "well you seem quite. Remembering something?" she asked as she rest her head on her hands.

Tygra glanced at her knowing she was taking to him. He then turned back not answering her. Aideen frowned, "rude much," she said the sigh. She looked at the tiger, a voice telling her to say something to him. Even if he was annoying sometimes he always worried about her and she thought of his as a brother. "I will never choose between your brother and you," she heard herself say, but didn't stop, even though she knew he wouldn't care much what she said. "Because both of you are different and are equally special to me."

Tygra was shocked at what the girl said. Even if her voice ad been low he still heard her. A smile appeared on his face, at least he still had her. At seeing his smile the girl found her self smiling as well.

Minutes later, the thundertank came to a stop. And those who were still looking outside the tank stared in shook at what was in front of them. "By thundera!" panthro gasped.

In front of them was the elephant village, small trails of smoke cloud the sky. "The elephant village!" Aideen exclaimed as the others looked out the tank.

Both Kitts looked out as Aideen got out of the and stood at the hood of the tank. "What happen?" Wilykit asked with worry in her voice.

Lion-O took out his sword, "Sword of Omens give me sight beyond sight," the cats eyes changed as he was no longer looking far but right at the village. The elephant's were all gather and lizards and robotic-machine's surrounded them. His vision moved to Grune who was smirking as he began to walk toward the hut the stone was located in. Lion-O looked away from his sword eyes widen, "We're to late. The lizard have found the hut."

Aideen had seen the same thing he had and was already thinking of what to do. "panthro," she called out making the cat turn her way. "You think you can get close enought without being spotted?"

The panthro look back at the trail, "hmm. I think can, why?"

"Just do it, please," she said without taking her eyes from the village. The panther looked at her then began to drive closer to the village.

Lion-O looked at Aideen already guessing what she was going to do. "We can't go to the village, its to dangerous. There many lizard," he stated.

Soon the tank came to a stop, "this is as far as we can go. If we get closer they will see us," the panther informed.

Aideen nodded, taking of her blanket she jumped off the tank. Before leaving she turn to the lion, "I know lion-O thats why I will check the village while you hid somewhere and think of a plan. Besides I'm good at stealth," she said then turned to the kitts, "you two stay."

Wilykit wined, "why? I want to help," she replied.

The girl shook her head, "no, its best if I go alone. That way they won't see me and risk getting caught."

The lion wanted to argue with the girl, as it was risky. But panthro seemed to think it was a good idea. "Well meet you at the top of the hill. Once you know if they have stone come back," he said and the girl nodded.

She ran to the forest and disappeared between the trees.

From within the hut a loud cry was heard. The lizards that were watching out side became nerves and took a step back. Inside, Grune was furious the only thing in the hut was a broom and vines growing on the walls. He growled as he grabbed the object walked out the others moved out of his way.

Grune soon stood in front of the elephants, "You leather-eared pacifist said the stone would be here," he growled.

"Said what would be where?" asked Abern in confusion.

"That fable elephant memory," Grune said in disgust, he held the broom in front of him for them to seem, "The only thing in that hut was this broom!"

"The broom!" anet said as he look at the at the wooden object, "We've been looking for that."

The cat became more frustrated and shatter the broom, "Give me what I came for," he said with an extended hand.

"And that would be?" Anet asked calmly.

Aideen, by then, had already gotten to the village thanks to her powers and her climbing ability. Climbing the stairs would take some time but climbing vines and grabbing the trees roots made it much easier for her. At the moment she was hiding in the trees shadow looking down at the elephants. 'He seems mad about something. I wonder what,' the girl thought as she observed the scene.

"The stone!" Grune shouted.

"Oh, that," anet said as if it wasn't important, "Well, have you checked the hut?"

Grune growled once more before grabbing his weapon. "Perhaps, you need a reminder of the stones importance," he power up the weapon and fire. It hit a tree and destroyed the wall that was behind it. Smoke rouse from the hit. Grune turn back with a smirk, "Anything to say now?"

"Why, yes," Anet replied as if what had happen was nothing, "Thank you."

The saber was taken back, "Excuse me?"

"You've really open up the view," anet said as he pointed to the smoking spot.

"Our garden will get more sunlight, too," abern added as the others nodded and began to chatter among each other. This only infuriated the saber-tooth more.

He slammed his weapon down and pointed at them, "You have until the third moon-rise to remember. Then, I start culling the herd," he threatened.

'I need to warn the others, ' Aideen thought as she moved back not making a single sound.

"Grune, " panthro said as he looked at the saber threw his telescope. He moved to look to then side and saw the girl leave the village without being spotted. He smiled as he looked away, "ha, she sure knows what shes doing."

Lion-O looked ahead at the village, "We need to go about this delicately," he whispered to the others as he thought of a plan. "He's got hostages," that made this a little difficult as they needed to be careful.

"Abern?" wilykit mutter as she looked down with worry for her elephant friend.

"What are you thinking, Lion-O?" cheetara asked as she looked at him.

"Let's wait until nightfall, use stealth," he command.

"Are you kidding?" Tygra said as he looked at his brother not agreeing with him at all. "We can't waste time waiting for the right window. We should move in now, I say we take the tank. It's our only chance against their firepower."

Lion-O got angry at his brother for not following his orders, "Why do you have to challenge every command I make, Tygra?"

"Because I was the one who actually studied military strategies with father while you goofed off," he said.

"The tank can't make it," cheetara interrupted, "Besides, I've always consider stealth to be your greatest strength."

Tygra looked away, what the cheetah said brought back memories, "No wonder I've always been invisible to you."

The young cheetah was still at the clerics door. Her head hidden behind her legs, "Have to hold on," she mutter as she was becoming weak from not eating.

From the cleric statue the tiger looked at the cheetah. He walked quietly towards her and left a flower with white petals by her side, then ran back to hid. Cheetara looked up then to her side. She picked up the flower then looked forward, looking for the person who had left the flower. She smiled as she spotted Tygra.

The tiger smiled back and walked forward only to be stopped by a clanking noise. He hid behind the statue again as Jaga walked towards the entrance to the clerics.

Cheetara stood up as the older cat stop to her side. He closed his eyes, "Please, go home. You're wasting your time," he said then open the door and walked in closing it behind her.

Cheetara sat back down, bringing her knees to her chest and put her hiding her head behind them. Tygras smile feel at seeing the girl sad and once again in the same way she was before.

The next day she was still waiting at the door steps even when it was raining. Jaga past by her, "Still here?" he said as he walked in. The cheeta didn't even move this time.

As the sun rise and the ran stopped. The cheetah had fallen a sleep as the sun shined on her face. Looked down at her this time instead of walking in. Just them cheetara was about to fall but the cat moved fast and caught her. "It seems you can show patience after all," he said as the girl began to slowly open her eyes. She looked at him too weak to stand. "The cleric accept you, Cheetara of the thunders. You may enter," Jaga said as he carried the girl inside, the door closing behind them.

Tygar, who was looking from the side, ran towards the step he looked down. A small cut of petal laid on the spot the cheetah had been on. He smiled glade that she had gotten in and that he could help. But his smile fell and he became sadden that he wouldn't be able to see her anymore.

"Hey, " Aideen said as she walked out of the woods. The other turned to her and she smiled at them as she tried to catch her breath. Her smile feel as she looked at Tygra, knowing something had happen that had made him upset.

"What happen in the village?" Lion-O asked as he stood in front of her.

"Is Abern alright?" Wilykit interrupt as she waited for the girl to replied.

Aideen looked at the two in front of her, still a little curious as to what happen to the tiger. "Abern is alright...for now. They haven't found the stone, and Grune is getting impatient," she reported.

The young king nodded, "they don't know about the astral plain, that's good. Well make our move at night and use stealth."

Aideen nodded before she moved to the tiger as Lion-O walked to stand next to cheetara. The tiger glanced at her before looking back at the horizon. "what do you want?" he asked rather rudely.

The brown-red hair girl looked at him with a frown. "No need to be rude," she said as he tried to ignored her. Aideen sigh, "does this has to do with cheetara, doesn't it?" He didn't answer or looked at her but she knew she was right.

"Why are you willing to fight with you're brother over her?" she asked.

Tygra growled, "This has nothing to do with you."

She was taken back by what he had said as it had been a while seen he had growled at her or talked to her in that way. Back in earth she would have stop asking as she had learned not to get in people's business but for some reason she couldn't help but want to know. So, she growled back and stood in front of him. "You're wrong!" she said as the tiger looked at her in surprise. he stayed quite knowing she would get even mad if he tried to fight back. "I care about the both of you. And I don't like it when the two of you fight. Don't tell me it has nothing to do with me."

Tygra stayed quite, the other thudercats turned toward them at after seeing the girl become angry. "What's going on?" cheetara asked as she looked at the two who were currently staring at one another.

Neither one turn her way or replied. Both Aideen and Tygra stared at one another, one trying to make the other one go away and the other not backing down until she got her answer. Final, to every once surprise, Tygra sigh and closed his eyes. He knew she wouldn't leave him and for some reason he wanted to tell her what he was thanking. He open his eyes, "I'm sorry, Aideen," he said making the girl blink in surprise, "Well, talk later."

She stayed quite then nodded, "promise?"

He smiled at her and nodded as well, "promise." both smiling at one another. Neither Lion-O or cheetara liked the way the two were smiling at one another.

By night the thundercat and human hid in between the tall grass waiting for their moment to attack. The lion glanced at his brother who was next to Aideen, both waiting for the lion's signal. He turned to look at the cheetah, "Ever since we were cubs, Tygra's fought me at every turn," the lion said.

"Tigers are know for their pride," cheetara replied.

"It goes deeper than that," Lion-O looked down deep in though, "There's always been some kind of...darkness in him."

Cheetara became worried at the lions words, "Probably because he's been in his younger brother's shadow all his life," she commented making him look at her.

In the distance the bells ringed, "It's time," the lion commanded, '"let's move."

"Still think we need the tank," Tygra complained making Aideen roll her eyes.

"Just go with the plan, " Aideen said then moved a little closer to whisper, "Unless the plan does't work, then you go for the tank. We always need to have a second plan in case the first doesn't work."

The tiger glanced at her with a smirk, glade someone was willing to do what he thought was needed. He nodded and didn't complain anymore, a plan already forming in his head in case something went wrong.

At the bottom of the stairs, a group of Lizard army stood in guard making sure nothing got past them and no one got close to the elephant village. One of the guard turn to the side and notice snarf standing a few feet from them, "Huh?" Snarf smiled and mewed as he began to run around the guard. One of them lizard tried to grab him but he ran off. Looking back Snarf made sure the two lizards were fallowing him.

They gasped and stop as they came face to face with Panthro. The older cat looked down at them before grabbing their heads and slamming them together, making them pass out. Aideen smiled as she two of the guards paying attention to the older cat thank her. Using the shadows she got close enough to hit them on the neck then on the head knocking them out, in an instant. She looked at the others and sigh. Lion-O had gotten the attention of two other lizards, he used his sword to reflect the blast. Then slashed both lizards. Cheetara grabbed her staff swirl it in the air before slamming it to the ground. Roots grew from the bottom of the staff, and snaked around the lizards legs. They were thrown to the vehicles making a loud crashing sound.

"How the hell is this using stealth?!" the girl exclaimed. Just then another Lizard was about to shot the girl who had her attention towards the others cats. He aimed hims gun toward her but was stop as Tygra appeared from behind him and threw him, the lizard slammed against the stone floor. Aideen turn to look at the tiger, "or at lest some know how to be stealth."

Aideen turn to see both Willykit and Wilykat raning up the stairs, the other followed. Two younger cats watched as the elephants were rounded up and guarded by the lizards and mechines.

Anet looked upnat the moons as the third began to rise. His face showed calmness but in the inside hebwas worried about the other elephants. "The third moon is rising are you ready to talk?" Grune asked as he looked looked at the elephant.

"I love a good discussion," Anet replied, "Any topic in particular?"

"Very well," Grune replied, "since you have more than tried my patience. Start with Abern." One of the lizards did as he was told and separated Abern from the other elephants. The rest began to mumble to one another as their elephant brother stood in front of the lizards with the gun pointed at him.

"Abern!" Wilykit said with concern for the elephants, "We have to do something." Before her brother could say anything she ran ahead.

"kit, wait!" Wilykat called but kit was already ontop of a rock.

"No one touches my friend," she said as she stood tall. The lizard army turn to her.

"Hey, it Kit," Abern said with glee, "and look, you brought, linus and your friends." The others groaned at being spotted. They moved from the bushes and were soon surrounded by the lizards.

"guess, he does remember us," Wilykat said.

Grunge looked at the cats "weapons on the ground," he said ten pointed his weapon at Abern. Small lightning sparked from te weapon ready to strike the elephant, "or the grass-eater gets it. I assure you, I won't miss a target this big."

The lion thought of a plan but non came to mind. He threw his sword on floor and the rest followed. Aideen threw her swords but kept her knife, that was hidden in her boot. Even if she wanted to hand it over it would just return to her side. The only one resisting was panthro as he held to his nunchuks.

"General," Grune said with warning in his voice. Both cats looking at one another until..

"Traitor," panthro said as he drop the weapon.

Grune was about to walk towards them when he spotted the half-human. He stop in his track and look towards her. "You, " he said as Aideen look at him, "put your hands infront of you and walk forward."

Aideen stared at him with a questioning look and didn't move. With a growl Grune painted his weapon back to the elephant. She growled but held her hands in front of her as she was told, then moved forward. With a signal from the general, one of the lizards moved towards her with cuff in his hand.

Aideen was confused until her hands were cuffed. She felt a sting on her wrist making her groan, her wrist felt numb after a few seconds. She felt a small electric shock run threw her hands all the way to her shoulders. "w-what did you do?" she asked as she looked at the cat.

"Your powers have been neutralize, with small potion sent by a... friend," Grune said as he began walk forwards.

She look at the ground "Julie," she mutter.

"No, not her. A friend of your mother's," He said as he past by her. The girls eyes widen as he looked at him pick up the sword of Omens. "At least the sword falls into worthy hands. Of course, that's not what I came here for," he looked at the lion who was angry at having seen Aideen cuff and the elephant threaten. "Where is the spirit stone?"

Lion-O smirked, "Have you checked the hut?" he said knowing it would annoy the saber.

Grunge become furious as he clenched the sword in his hands, "You may be prepared for your death, but are you ready for theirs." The lizards all pointed their swords to the elephants.

Aideen became worried about the elephants. She looked at lion-O as he glanced at her. The lion tunes back to grunge, "I don't know where it is," he lied then turn away.

"And yet you come back to the village," Grune turned and order the lizards, "wipe out the entire herd." They all gasped as the metal machines began to gather energy to shot. The lizards back away as the elephants eyes widen, they watched the weapons point to them.

"My turn Lion-O," Tygra said as he began to leave. Aideen glanced at the tiger and moved back a bit to make sure one of the lizards didn't see him.

"Wait!" Lion-O said as he extended his hand, "I'll tell you."

Grune smirked at having won, he held his hand up, stopping the machines, "If you say it's in the hut..." he warned him.

"It's not in the hut. It's threw it in the astral plane," Lion-O said.

Both cats began to walk towards the hut before the lion could go any further away Aideen grabbed his hand. "I'm coming with you," she said then turned to look at Grune, "After all I can't even use my powers."

Grune smirked at her before grabbing her hand and pushing her ahead. "Very well," he said, but his thought wounder off as he had seen the look the lion had gave to him when he grabbed the girl. 'Perhaps the witch was right. Using Lion-O to get to Aideen could work,' he thought.

The three walked into the hut, Aideen stood by the lions side while Grune stood to the left. "If the hut is just a doorway, the how do we open it?" he asked.

"With a key," the young king replied back. He then pointed to the sword, "and you know full well I'm the only one here who can use it."

The saber look at the sword, he looked up and hand it to the lion, "Don't do anything foolish," he warn.

Lion-O glanced at Aideen who nodded then took a step back. He put the sword in front of him, it extended to it full length. With a shout ran to the wall and push the tip of the sword to the stone. A bright light glowed in the hut. Aideen touched her head as she felt the energy of the stone within. Everyone looked in amazed as the portal began to open.

"incredible," Grune breathed out as he looked at the portal. He then took the sword away from the lion, the sword then shrunk to its original sizes. "Prepare a party to enter," he order, "but first, kill them all." the machines got ready to attack.

"No!" wilykat said as he and his sister watched the gun point at them and the elephants.

From the distance rockets flew in the sky and hit the robot-machines. A metal claw crashed one of the robot before sliding on the ground, leaving a cat-like scratch on the stone, before staying on the side of the mountain. They watched as another claw held to the side before the thundertank came into view. Aideen smiled as she saw the tiger inside.

"I don't believe it," cheetara breathed out.

"Me either," panthro replied, "Who said he could drive my tank?!"

As Grune was distracted, Lion-O took the opportunity to grab the sword then got himself and Aideen way from the cat general. The saber looked at the two as Lion-O held his sword, "Thunder," he said as the sword began to extend. "Thunder," It extended once more, "Thunder, Thundercats Ho!" Once in full length he held up the sword as a red light shun out and into the sky. The thundercats symbol light the sky.

Aideen tried to dodge as the lizards tried to shot at her. The Lion-O got between them and his friend, with his sword he slashed the beams then ran toward the enemy. The human girl dodged the other lizards then got an idea. She stayed still and as one of the lizards shot her way, she used the beam to hut her cuffs. Though, they weren't of at least she could move her hands apart. Grabbing her knife she used it to protect herself, it was the only weapon she had as she could't use her powers. Hiding behind the trees she took a deep breath and got her thought together. Using the shadows she began to fight the lizards, using her combat skills and knife.

Cheetara used her speed to grab her staff from the lizards then jumped onto of the machines as they were about to shot. Hitting the canons that were at the robots shoulders, making them exploded. Panthro pushed the lizard that held his nunchucks, then hit the other two to his side.

The panther looked at the saber, with determination in his eyes, "You're mine, Grune."

"Stop him," Grune order as he faced panthro.

Lizards got in his way but panthro just knocked them away. He got closer to his target, "Dragging myself out of a pit and nearly starved to death wondering the desert to get to you. You think a few Lizards are going to keep you safe?" he said as he kept on fighting the lizards.

Grune stood next to the shatter wall, a few lizards next to him. "I'm afraid this will have to wait for another day," he said as he looked back at the panther, "I can see when the odds are not in my favor," they jumped down the village and rode motorcycle like vehicles.

"Finding the stone will not be easy," Anet said as the thundercats, half-human and elephant stood inside the hut. Lion-O stood in front of the portal Anet stood next to him, the rest were behind. "The astral plane is unlike anything you've ever encountered. There, though itself is form into reality."

"I can do this," the lion mutter and before Aideen could say any encouraging words, she cheetara walked to him. She then lend forward and kissed his cheek. Aideen frowned then turned to look at the tiger as she knew his feelings for the female cheetah. Tygra looked in shock at the act of affection.

"I believe in you," cheetara said from besides him.

The older prince then walked closer to his brother, "I'm going with you," he said, "This mission's too important for you to handle it alone."

"Thanks, but I don't need your help," Lion-O replied.

"Funny, because I already saved your tail once today," Tygra replied with his face showing anger. Lion-O frowned getting angry at his brothers comment.

Aideen push the two cats apart, "enough! You two are brothers and need to behave and help one another. Stop acting like a bunch of kids- or cubs," she said as she looked at both of them. They fell silent until Anet spoke up.

"I sens a negative energy between you two," he said.

"Yeah," Tygra said as he turn to anet, "ever sens we were cubs."

After a while lion-O finally gave up, "Fine," he said, "After you."

Tygra walked into the portal. Aideen sigh, "well seems like I'll be going as well," she said as she began to wall to the portal. The young king grabbed her before she was far. She turn to look at him knowing what he was about to say. "Before you say anything know that I didn't ask, I said I was going." She turn and walk into the portal.

Lion-O sigh and began to walk, he knew she wasn't going to listen. Just as he was about to follow Anet stop him. "There is one thing I must tell you. I see something a vision," he began, "By evening bell tomorrow, You will know a betray from your brother like you have never known."

He was taken back by what the elephant had said. "We don't always get alone, but he wouldn't betray me," he replied.

"Anet's visions are never wrong," Abern commented from next to Anet.

"Never?" he question worry and doubt began to form in his mind. Then he followed the two others.

Outside a black crow-like bird with red eyes, looked into the hut, "March towards your death, thundercats," it said in a deep dark voice, one that belonged to mumm-Ra. "For in the astral plane, Mumm-Ra is all-powerful," he then flew into the astral plain fallowing the others.

Back in the Pyramid Alchy looked into the water she smiled darkly. Julie stood next to her, her face not reflecting a single hint of enjoyment or satisfaction. Her face was emotionless.

"Well seems like its time I show myself," Alchys said a she began to leave. "Without me the lizards are useless. They won't be able to get the stone." She turn to Julie and put a hand on her shoulder, "you stay here," she waved her hand around the girl tuning her back into a snake.
