Hello everyone! Hope you like the chapter.
Disclaimer: I don't own thundercats except my O.C's.
New alliances
Aideen stayed well away from the thundercats all night and most of the morning. She hadn't seen or talk to them or the elephant. Her emotions were out of control and she at least wanted to hid her sadness from the rest. It wasn't that she couldn't tell them but rather she didn't want to trouble them with her problems especially now that they were in search for the stones and panthros arms were gone.
She didn't even want to talk to Tygra as both brothers had things to solve between the two. The only thing she wanted was to be alone but at the same time she wanted someone there for her. Isha was the only one that knew when Aideen needed someone without the girl even saying it. Her brother Zane would to but he was the type to never leave her alone especially after haven made up for his behavior when he was dating Julie.
But in a strange land, where neither one of the two people she would cry in front of were there. She felt all alone and confused with what she had just found out. The girl sigh as she looked to the side wishing her mother hadn't hide anything from her. Now she was afraid of knowing what else was kept from her.
Her mind then drifted to her father, a man she didn't remember or knew. The only thing she could connect to her father was her brothers actions as her mother always said he was like him. The thought of her father and whobhe was never truly crossed her mind. Her mother never talk about him and when sometimes things slip about him she would have a sad look. Making neither one of her children ask about him.
But now, after hearing that her mother may or may not have let her father died made her want to know what happened to him. Want to know who he was. Where he was. If he was alive or if he died. And so many other questions she wanted to know.
Her eyes looked up at the sky. "Who are you, father? What happen to you?" she whispered as her curiosity for a father, she did not remember, grew. With a sigh the girl laid her head on her knee's and closed her eye.
"I'm gonna miss you," Wilykit said as she looked up at Aburn. It was later in the morning when they were getting ready to leave.
"And I will miss you too, wilykit," Aburn said.
The rest of the thundercats were all waiting next the tank where they were trying to decide who was diving. "No!" Panthro said after Lion-O asked if he could drive. "No way am I letting any of you drive my tank."
"Then how are we going to get to the Berbils village?" Lion-O asked.
Tygra stood next to cheetara as the panther stayed quite thinking of away to get to the village without letting any of them touch his tank. Lets just say he really missed his arms.
Tygra step up, "I could drive it. I have before, I know how it works," he said.
Panthro growled, "And as I remember, I never let you drive it!"
"Fine. Then what are we going to do?" lion-O asked. They all fell silent as they tried to think of a solution.
Wilykat looked down at them, "why don't you ask Aideen to drive it?" he suggested.
The older cats looked at him then down at panthro wanting to know what he thought. Even if Panthro didn't want to let anyone drive the tank he would at least let Aideen. She was far more responsible than the rest and he trusted her more. He nodded his head before turning and looking for the girl, "where is Aideen?" he asked.
The rest looked around trying to find the girl. Lion-O and Tygra guessed she wanted to be alone but they couldn't help but worried. Both began to think they should have tried to talk to her or be there for her.
"There she is," Wilykat said as he pointed to the girl who was walking toward them. Both brothers turned.
Aideen walked towards them as she braid her hair. She was looking at the ground but her mind was somewhere else. She sigh then looked up as she got closer to the cats. She raised an eyebrow as she stood in front of them, "What?" she asked.
No one said anything until Wilykat jumped down the tank and ran towards her. "Where were you? You missed the party," he said as he smiled at her.
Aideen smiled back as she looked down at him, "I was sitting by one of the walls looking at the sky, but I could still hear the music," she answered. She then shrugged, "I wasn't really feeling well. I just needed to be alone to think about something."
"Like what?"
"Don't worry about it," she said then turned her attention to the others. She could see both brothers looking at her to make sure she was alright. The girl knew she needed to talk to them and had decided to do just that. Or at least that was her intention until she looked how closed Cheetara was to Tygra right there she knew the two were finally together. And the look on lion-Os eyes told her how he felt. Now she wasn't so sure she wanted to tell them anything. "So, what were you talking about?" she asked.
Cheetara stepped up and answer her question, "Panthro wants you to drive the tank."
Aideen turned to panthro with a raised eyebrow, "Why don't you let Tygra drive it?" she asked.
"After touching it without my permission? No way!" he said.
Aideen raised her hands, "okay, sorry. But if I'm the only one then... I guess its find. I mean, I have driven a truck before. I don't think its that hard."
"I would ask Isa but she isn't even here," the panther said.
"Yeah, best you don't," the girl advised. They looked at her with a confused expression. She crossed her arms and answer their unsaid question, "Isha loves to race. She loves to go to high speed, meaning we would all die if she drove. Truest me, I had an experiences with that... it was horrible."
Aideen didn't have any trouble driving, perhaps at first it was difficult as she hadn't drove a bigger vehicle before. But as she drove, it became easier.
Within time they all arrived at the bearbils village and were greeted with joy. "welcome, welcome, thundercats," rober-bill said as he rolled to them. He turned to Aideen who gave a small smile, "Aideen, welcome back."
Aideen smiled as the smaller Berbil rolled to her. She looked down and patted the ro-bears head. "Hey.. did Isha pass by here? I haven't seen her or know if she knows where we are."
The bears all look around then turned too see Isha walking towards them like nothing happen. "I was right! You were going to come here," Isha said with a smile then she raised an eyebrow, "what happen to panthro?"
Panthro looked at her in annoyance. "What do you mean what happen?! And why didn't you answer your communicator?"
Cheetara stepped towards Isha, "what panthro is trying to say is, we tried to communicate with you but you never answer."
Isha blinked then sigh, "sorry. My communicator broke and I couldn't fix it, " she explained. "Sorry I wasn't there."
Aideen shook her head, "its alright, everything turn out fine. But.. I want to know what you were doing in the forest, " the young girl said as she looked at her cousin.
Isha looked away with a nervous smile, "I just wanted to see something. Anyways, it doesn't matter. What I want to know is what happen and," she said as she looked at her cousin, "for you too get some rest. You look tire," the girl observed her cousin since they had arrived and could tell something was off.
Aideen was about to shake her head but decided not to. "I don't feel tire but I do have a headache," she answer honestly.
Isha nodded, "I got here last night, in a small house they let me rest you could go there."
With a nod Aideen followed the older girl. The thundercats all watch her leave. Wilykat turned to the older cats, "is she okay?" he asked.
Tygra looked down at him and answer his question, "she's strong. She just needs time, what she saw in the Astral plane is to much for her."
Later on that day, both wilykat and wilykit were riding hover-boards. Isha wasn't far behind, she had made sure Aideen was well a sleep before she left. The rest had told her what happen from what the had experience. Both brothers told her what they experience inside the Astral Plane. She became worried when they told her what Aideen saw, she knew what happen, or at least parts of what happen. Zane didn't want to tell her or his brother much just bits of what he saw. From what the cat brothers said she was now worried about Aideen, but for now she knew the girl needed rest not someone to insist that she needed to talk.
"Woo-hoo!" Wilykit flew ahead of the others as she was enjoying her gift.
Wilykat flew next to her, "Someone tell me how we ever lived without hover-board!" he exclaimed.
"Yeah!" Wilykit cheered.
Isha was upside down and looked down at the cats. "I've seen better but I have to admit this is pretty cool," she said. She flew behind both kits, even though she acted like a kid sometime, she could act like an adult when two kids are in her care. She hand small siblings and when she was a teenage she had to grow up and take care of them. Even when she was little she was responsible of her siblings. Her life wasn't always happy and cheerful, she still had a past that seemed to follow her, a dark path she wished to keep Aideen out of. But deep down knew that wasn't going to stay a secret for long.
"Uh-oh" both kits said as they saw what was in front of them. Isha looked up and saw the group of lizards ahead of them. She moved to stand in front of the two, in a protective manner.
They stop with Isha in front of the kits, the lizards all turned to them. "Thundercats," one of the lizard said.
"Uh, hi?" Wilykat said
"We were just leaving," Isha said as signal for both kits to run. They flew a way Isha staying behind the cats and getting ready to attack the lizards if they followed.
The lizard looked at the other lizard next to him before he order, "Get them." They flew away form the lizards going threw the small path in front of them. Isha kept looking back at the lizards then at the kits. Soon they came to a stop, as there was a dead end.
"Looks like you're trapped," the lizard said as the girl and cats turned to him.
"Are we trapped?" Wilykit said as she looked at them.
"Or are you?" Wilykat asked.
From above the rock wall, Lion-O stood looking down at them. "Thundercats, ho!" he shouted as he extended his sword, lighting shooting from it.
The lizard turn the cannon they had towards them, then began to shoot beam of light a him. Lion-O moved his gauntlet in front of him, activation the spirits stone shield. They kept shooting him but the beams only ended up bouncing away from him and ended up hitting a rock above the lizards.
They yelled as small rocks crushed down on their ship. Lion-O took the opportunity and ran down towards the lizards. But not all of their weapons had stop working, they shot a beam of lightning at him. Lion-O held his sword up protecting himself from them lightning. He kept moving forwards, the lightning moved from the blade to the stone. The eye of thundera shined bright as a red beam of light shot towards the lizards. They jumped out of the vehicle as it was flip an a thrown towards the rock wall. Lion-O looked around him as he was surrounded, Isha moved to help until she saw a yellow light blast towards the lizards throwing Cheetara looked at them with a hand on her hips.
From above a rock, one of the lizards aimed his pistol towards cheetara before he was shot. Tygra stood with a rifle on the other side of the wall. Cheetara looked up at him and smiled. Tygra smiled back and gave a nod.
Isha stood in front of the lizards next to lion-O. They were seated and did nothing to attack which surprised her as they weren't even tied. "They don't even seem harmful. I wonder why their even fighting," she thought.
"What are we going to do with them?" Cheetara asked from lion-O's other side.
"We're going to let them go," the lion answer as he looked at them. The rest of the thundercats looked at him in surprise. Isha just glanced at him and shrugged understanding what the cat wanted to do. And who was she to question what he thought was a good idea. After all, for the time being he was her leader as well. As long as Aideen thought the same so would she.
Tygra looked at his brother as if he had just made a horrible choice, "Excuse me?"
Lion-O walked towards the lizard while still looking at the cats, "They fought under Mumm-Ra long enough to know they don't want to live under them," he said then turned to look at the lizards. "His mission is not just a threat to cats," his attention when back to the cats, "If we don't unite against them, we'll fall together before him.
One of the lizard began to laugh, Isha frowned at that. Lion-O turned to him as he began to speak, "Cats and Lizards, united together? If that's your plan for victory, you are a fool."
Isha crossed her arms, perhaps now would be a good time to have them as prisoners. But before she could voice her thought lion-O answer, "Perhaps. Still the choice is yours- return to the battlefield or return to your family."
Isha glanced at the lion then moved to stand next to him, "he's giving you a choice. Something I know Mumm-Ra wouldn't give you," she said then thought of something else. "And If what lion-O and Tygra said true, then I'm sure Alchy works for Mumm-Ra and she won't let you off the hook so easily."
At the mention of the black witch, the other began to mutter. Some actually wanting to go home instead of fighting and others just didn't want to deal with the witch anymore. The lizard that had spoken stood up, he looked at the lion before turning towards the other lizards, "lets go home," he said. The rest stood up and began to walk away. Before he could leave he turned to Isha, "I would watch out for the other human girl. The black witch has plans for her and non that is good." With that he left.
Isha watched the lizard leave now wanting to check of her cousin. She turned as the other walked to stand next to the young king. "You still haven't given up the idea that you can turn the lizards good just by cutting them a break," Tygra said.
"You saw what happen after we won the spirit stone," he said as he turned to him, he held his gauntlet up, "Mass desertion in the lizards army. This isn't their war, thy don't even know what they're fighting for."
Tygra looked at Cheetara, "All I know if what I'm fighting for," he said
"That reminds me thanks for watching my back," Cheetara thanked then gave him a kiss on the cheek.
"Well, your backs real easy to watch," he replied.
"Think I'm going to hack up a hairball," wilykat said as he watched the two, both siblings in disgust.
Isha looked at them with disgust, "I really hope you don't mean it, Kat. But, I so get what you mean," she commented, "please if your going to be all mushy then go somewhere were no one sees you. I definitely don't what to see that." With that she walked away.
Tygra gave a cough, "Sorry," he apologized, knowing his brother wasn't going to like it.
Lion-O looked at the with a serious expression that mad as Isha wonder if perhaps he was mad. His expression changes as he gave the couple a smile, "Don't be. I'm happy for both of you."
Tygra and Cheetara looked at one another, before the older brother looked back at his brother, happy that he was fine with the two, "It means a lot to hear you say that," he said.
Isha stared at lion-O then at the couple, something was definitely wrong. She knew the love triangle that was going between the two brother and female cat, and the fact that Cheetara had chosen Tygra instead of Lion-O. She had also seen the little gestures the two made to one another and not tygra and Cheetara but Lion-O and the female cat. She looked in thought before deciding to talk to Aideen about it, when she felt better.
Lion-O turned two the two kits, "How about we get back to the Berbil village and check in on Panthro and Aideen?"
"Yeah," Wilykit said as the hoverboards began to left of the ground, "If those furry little bears can make these hover-boards, I can't wait to see what they do with Panthro's new arms," she said before taking of her brother by her side.
Isha watched the two go not wanting to fly with them. She walked to stand next to lion-O, both cheetara and Tygra walked side by side behind them. She looked up at the young king, "hey," she said making him turn to her. "Are you okay?" she asked.
Lion-O looked at her then sigh, "I don't know. But i don't want to fight with Tygra anymore," he said.
Isha looked at him with a small smile. "You're very kind and brave. I don't know why she chose him and not you, " she commented making him turn to her.
"You think that?" he asked.
She nodded her head, "yeah, of course. So does Aideen, in fact she was the one who told me she consider you her leader. When I meet you in the small village i had my dought. I thought you only cared about your people, there were many rumors about the cats that I thought were true. But then after you defeated the duelist and gave the sword to the drifter to return to their owners. I thought you were kind. But it wasn't until Aideen told me what she thought of you that I decided I would follow you as my leader as well."
"What did Aideen say?" he asked, curiously.
"She said you were kind to, not only your kind, but other species as well. That you were willing to help them in whatever way you could and that you cared about other. She said you were the bravest person she had ever meet. And I mean she consider her brother the bravest, that's saying a lot," she said with a laugh. "She also told me you tend to get carried by what you feel and that it lead to... Disaster, in a way. But that those feeling also lead you to help other. She said that within time she began to think of you as her king as well, and that she would follow you without a second thought. You became some one really special to her, you know. She said you were unique, kind, brave, sweet, funny, in general someone she cares deeply about. She has a lot of faith in you and thinks if you as a great king...with a lot more to learn but definitely a great king."
Lion-O smiled as he heard all this, it made him feel happy. "Thanks for telling me this, " he said.
"Hold still, Ro-cat panthro," said Ro-bear bill. Panthro stood sat on, what looked like a doctor chair, and from his ellbow down he was cover with a white cloth. A group of Berbils were to his side While Ro-bear Bill worked in fixing his hands. "Almost finished."
Panthro looked at him, "You think it would actually put me back together? Sometimes, I can still feel them. The worst part is when they itch. Nothing there to scratch, nothing there to scratch with."
"Berbils done," Ro-bear Bill said.
Panthro lifted his arms to reveal small pink Berbil arms. He looked at them with anger, "You call this arms?!" He exclaimed as he moved the small hands.
"Berbil arms," Ro-bear Bill said.
Behind them the metal door open, lion-O walked in to check on Panthro before heading to check on Aideen. "How's it going, Panthro?" He asked.
"How does it look like it's going?" The general said as he showed his arms.
"Oh, there not so bad," lion-O commented, "In fact, they're actually kind of... adorable."
Panthro looked t him with a expression that clearly said he wasn't amused. "Are you trying to make me mad?" He asked dryly.
"Sorry," the young king apologise. "Good news, another successful ambush. If things keep going this way, they won't have an army to stop us from finding the next stone."
Panthro relaxed as he heard the report. "Just don't win the war before I have a chance to get a few more licks in," he said.
Just then Isha walked inside wanting to see what the Ro-bears had made for panthro. "Het, how's it going?" She asked then looked at the panther before bursting out laughing. This in return made the panther more annoyed. "Oh, this is good!" The girl manage to get out.
He became angry as the girl laughed, "Can someone please get these things off me," he yelled making the girl laugh even more.
Back in the black pyramid, Mumm-Ra stood on top of the stairs in the main room. "A general is only as strong as his army, slithe, and yours is an embarrassment," the mummy said, "Entire battalions flees at the mere sight of the cats!"
Slithe stood bowed down at the bottom of the stairs, "What do they have to be loyal to, lord Mumm-Ra?" He asked a small hint of anger was heard on his voices. "You've made it clear they are nothing more than minions to you."
"I'm not asking for loyalty," Mumm-Ra said as he looked down at the general. Now, he knew why Alchy didn't like the lizards she most likely had seen that they only fought because their leader order them too and she knew that they would soon turn on them. "I want warriors who fight not for treasure, but for blood. Warriors like these," he extended his hand and the water that was behind slither shimmer before two figures appeared. A monkey and a jackal, both holding a weapon.
Slithe looked down at them before looking up at the mummy, "who are they?" He asked
"Wretched souls, motivated only by base emotion and currently incarcerated for crimes vile energy to me," the mummy replied. "They are to be my new generals, Slithe."
The lizards eyes widen as he heard what his master was saying, "New generals?" He pointed to the water image, "The lizard army will never listen to a Monkian and Jackalman."
"They will at least see to it that there are consequences for deserting," Mumm-ra said in a harsh tone, "and more importantly, gives us the means to recruit the army of their people." Slithe looked doubtful at what the mummy wanted, "Free them, Slithe. Bring them to me. We will show thundercats this war is only beginning." He began to laugh as he knew his army would soon get stronger, enough to destroy the thundercats.
Aideen was leaning against wall as she was wide awake. She had never had bad dreams, perhaps odd ones but never bad at least not before coming to third earth. She rubbed her eyes as she tried to forget what she had just seen. The death of her mother kept replaying in her head over and over again. She wanted to forget but there was so much she wanted to now and no one to give her answers. She sigh and closed her eyes to think. Think about what she was going to do, how she was going to find out more.
She open her eyes as she heard the small door open. Isha walked in along with Lion-O and Tygra. Her cousin had a big smile, meaning she did something to annoy someone, perhaps Tygra, or she saw something she found amusing.
The young girl raised an eyebrow, "Did you do something, Isha?" she asked as Isha sat at the end of the bed.
Isha shook her head and turned to her, "No, but you should have seen what the Berbils did to Panthro. It was hilarious," she said as she chuckled. Aideen rolled her eyes and gave a small smile.
"How are you feeling?" asked Lion-O.
Aideen turn to him and shrugged, "Fine, I guess."
"You guess?" Isha asked with a frowned.
The young girl sigh, "Well, what do you want me to say?" she asked. "I don't even know how I feel," She admitted as they others looked at her worried, "I feel upset at knowing I couldn't help my mother. That she died and I didn't even remember what happened to her. I'm mad at Zane and Xander for hiding all of this from me, at my mother for erasing my memory. Confuse for not knowing who or what I am." Aideen looked up at them, the people she had learned to trust. "I don't even know anything about my father but everyone else seems to. I have so many questions and no one to answer them. It frustrating. So, yeah, I guess."
Isha watched as her cousin look down and closed her eyes. She wanted so badly to tell her what she knew, but if her brother was right and what happen last time was anything to go by. She knew telling her would only do harm than help. Isha looked as the lion grabbed her hand his eyes soft and for a second she could see the care he had for her in his eyes.
"Its going to be alright, Aideen," lion-O said as he looked at the girl. Aideen gave a small smile as she grabbed his hand. "We're here for you."
Tygra watched Aideen, then turned to Isha who he could see was struggling with something. He didn't trust her, there were to many things he was sure she was hiding. But she was the only person Aideen felt comfortable with and trusted.
Isha could feel the tigers watching her. She knew he didn't like or trust her and she couldn't blame him. He cared about Aideen and wanted to protect her, while she was hiding to many things from her. She put her hand on her knee, "I will try to answer your questions but you also have to understand that sometimes things have to come out on their own within time. I'm sure your brothers only want to keep you safe. All tell you what I know but you need to rest."
Aideen rolled her eyes, "I think I rather stand and walk around than stay inside and do nothing," she replied as she stood up. "Besides I want to see how panthro is."
Isha smiled widely, "Oh, you have to see him. Hopefully, the berbils haven't taken those arms off."
In another part of third earth, a few birdman stood high on a tree, a small read carpet at their feet. In front of them was a white monkey tied and upside down. "For your crimes against the bird nation, you are hereby sentences to death," one of the birds said. He held a staff his feathers were black with gray and some white, he was older than the others.
"Don't I at least get a last meal?" The monkey asked.
"It is the custom," the chief bird reason.
"Good, because you are looking quite tasty" the money replied as he gave a roar.
The black bird shook his head, "I'm afraid, Addicus, that today, you are at the bottom of the food chain."
Addicus looked at the with serious and murderers eyes, "Then you better make sure this drop is high enough to kill me," he warned.
"The only way you'll survive is I'd you suddenly grow wings," the bird replied. He gave a nod, as a bird flew to him using his claws he cut the rope holding Addicus. They looked as the monkey fell disappearing into the cloudless. They stayed looking hoping he had died, unfortunate their wish wouldn't come true.
The birds watched as Addicus appeared from the clouds. He stood on top of a ship that was navigated by lizards, "It would seem I've been given a last time reprieve," he said, the lizards pointed their guns towards them.
Slithe stood next to Addicus, "You owe your life lord Mumm-Ra , barbarian" he said as he cut the ropes that tied his hands. "Join us, or I will push you off this platform myself."
The monkey looked down the agreed, "Fine, but first I'm owed a meal" he said before looking at the birds. They backed a way knowing what was coming. Addicus shouted as he ran towards them, the jungle was filled with the monkeys cry's and the birds last sound.
Back with the thundercats, they had just ambushed another group of Lizards. Their weapons where taken from them. "That's right. Keep it moving," wilykit said as the lizards walked away.
"And if any of you come back, you'll have kit and Kat to deal with," wilykat finished.
From the side of the fallen ship lion-O had just finish carving the thundercat symbol with his sword. Cheetara walked towards him, "Another battalion has surrendered," she reported, "We need to keep up the pressure."
"It doesn't make any sense, cheetara," the young king commented.
She looked at him in confusion, "Do you have a different plan?"
"I'm not talkin about the lizards," he said then looked to the side, "Even after going over it a thousand times in my mind, I still don't understand how I misread all your signals."
"You said you were okay with Tygra and me," she replied understanding what he was talking about.
"I know what I said," he replied, "I just wish it were true." He looked at her, "Every time I turned around, your eyes were on me. I... You followed me everywhere, even into all this
"Its because... Jaga asked me to watch over you," she said as she looked away.
Lion-O looked at her in shock, then his expression turn to sadness with anger, "Then all those things you said about seeing something special in me. That was just part of your job?"
"Of course not. I believe in you with all my heart," cheetara said as she could see the hurt in his eyes. "Its just that heart belongs to someone else," she grabbed his shoulder, "This doesn't change our relationship."
Lion-O shook her hand off, "But it does. It changes everything," he gave one last glance before turning and walking away.
"What's wrong with him?" The tiger asked
Isha was sitting on the fallen ship her chin resting on her hand. She had seen what happen ans was feeling bad for Lion-O. He deserves someone that cares and loves him for who he is. She could feel herself not liking Cheetara and Tygra more. With a sigh she stood up and walked away.
Back at the Berbils village, Aideen stood next to panthro as the bears tried to finish his arms. Unlike the ro-bear arms this one where back and silver and were to the right length. "Ro-Bear Bill make adjustment to new arms," ro-bear Bill said as he finish adjusting certain things.
Panthro lokked at him, "Only adjustment I care about is making sure they don't look completely ridiculous," he said. Aideen rolled her eyes as the berbil finish his work. Panthro stood up and looked at his arms, snarf looked up in amazed at the panther's new arm. "Hmm. Not too bad," he began to thro some punches. Then moved his fingers, in an instant the arms started acting up and began to puch him. They then extended and began to hit hi and everything else. Snarf hid behind Aideen as he watched the cat get hit. "By the great sky cat's claw, make it stop! Turn them off!"
Aideen tried to avoid being hit as making sure Snarf didn't get hit. "Can they even be turn off?!" the girl exclaimed.
"Further adjustment required," ro-bear bill said as they were all on the ground covering themselves.
Aideen looked at the berbils, "yep, I think a lot more would be good," she said as she docked down. She looked at the panthers arms as they were hitting every where. "That's terrifying. Reminds me of slender man."
In a dark gloomy place, deep under ground a small elevator reached the bottom. Two bulldogs had a weapon on one hand while the other pushed a jackal that was strand and a metal circle was on his head. "Solitary confinement!" the jackal said. He looked at the dogs, his eyes were full of madness, "But I said I was sorry. I mean, when you think about it, you should really be thinking me. You got 11 less prisoners to worry about," he then began to laugh madly. "At least I'll have the voices in my head to talk to," he commented making one of the dogs look at him the look forward again.
They came to stop in front of a metal door, they open the door. As they turn around they were shot from the darkness and fell unconscious.
"House guest?" the jackal asked as he looked at the darkness. From within came slithe with two lizards behind him.
"Greetings, Kaynar," slithe greeted as he stood in front of him, "Lord Mumm-Ra says you're a vicious, reckless, bloodthirsty-"
"Did he say Handsome?" Kaynar interrupted.
"We could use someone like you," slithe continued.
Kaynar looked at them, "What can you give me?" he asked
Slithe extended his hand, "Freedom."
"Actually, I'm quite comfortable right here," the jackal replied.
"Then how about cats?" slithe said as he held a small circle with the thundercats symbol on it.
Kanar's eyes widen, "Ooh. Now, I like cats," he said. One of the lizards shoot his chains breaking them. Kaynar stood up the looked up slithe, "Do you mind if I say good-bye to some pals?"
Just then the bulldogs had stand up only to see the jackal look at them with a murderes smile. He began to laugh like a madmen as he got closer to the two dogs.
Aideen watched the sky deep in thoughts. She had decided to go out for a bit needing some air. She worried about the others as they kept ambushing miore lizard ships. She would have gone if it wasn't for the two brothers and her cousin who insisted she kept resting. But rest wasn't in her mind, her mind was clouded with worry as she felt something bad was going to happen. The voices warned her, told her someone new was to come. That was something that worried her as she didn't know if they were good or bad, but in the back of her mind she knew whoever they were was not going to help them.
She sigh and closed her eyes, "Please, don't let them get hurt," she wished.
By night, the cats stood hidden on a rock. Lion-O watched through the telescope, as a group of lizards marched through the path. The same lizards they had help were held captive by other lizards. "Those are the same Lizards we convinced to desert earlier," Lion-O said in disbelief.
"Must have been captured by their own army," Tygra aid simply not feeling bad for the lizards, "tough break. " This made Isha turn and glared at him, she decided to ignored him and instead look at the lizards.
Lion-O turn around with an angry frown, "You don't want to help them?" he asked.
"Whether they're deserted or prisoners, they're not out problem anymore," the tyger said without hesitation.
"You don't understand," the lion said, "If we don't stand by them, they'll stand by Mumm-Ra."
"Tygra's right," cheetara said agreeing with Tygra. Isha turned with a frown as the cheetah spoke again, "It's too dangerous to save Lizards who could turn on us tomorrow."
"Guess i shouldn't be surprise you'd side with him," Lion-O said as he turned forward.
"You know that's not what this is about," cheetara protested.
"You're right," the lion said as he looked back at them, "It's about their army being on the verge of collapse and not letting up the pressure." He stood up from where he was hiding and looked back as the two younger cats. "You two should go back to the Beribil village. They're right about this being dangerous," he order making them whine but still do as he said.
The lion then turned and ran down towards the lizard ship. Isha looked down at the lion along with Tygra and cheetara. "Lion-O wait!" cheetara called out, "We have to stick together!"
Lion-O looked back at the two, "You two stick together. I'll do this alone," he said as he turned and ran forward.
The two cats looked at one another the cheetara sigh. Isha frowned then moved forward to follow Lion-O only to be grab by Tygra. "Where are you going?" the older cat asked.
Isha glared at him, "well someone need to be with him, sens it seems you two don't agree with what he thinks should be done." She then moved her hand away from him and fallowed the lion.
Lion-O and Isha stood side by side in front of the lizards. Slithe looked down from the ship, "If it isn't the lord of the Thundercats himself," he said then looked at Isha a smile smile on his face, "and little Zamora."
Isha's eyes widen and she growled at him, making him smirk. Lion-O glanced at the girl not understanding what she was upset about or why slithe called her Zamora.
The lion looked back at the lizard, "I always knew you weren't so bright, Slithe, but you seem to have forgotten who you're fighting against," he said. The captive lizards all lower their heads.
"I haven't forgotten. It's just that I find this cowards are even worst than cats," slithe replied, "What kind of soldier abandons his post? Luckily, Mumm-Ra's newest generals, Kannar and Atticus, found them before they got too far." From within the hills a jackal slid down the wall while a white monkey jumped from the other side.
"New generals, Slithe? Does that mean Mumm-Ra finally figured out you can't handle the job?" The lion asked with a smirk.
Slithe looked at lion-O with anger, "They're only here to help make an example of these deserters."
Kaynar lifted his weapon, "It will be an example of what happens when an axe meets a neck," he commented.
"The Lizard army will understand there are consequences for betraying Mumm-Ra," Addicus added.
"I can't let that happen," lion-O said as he got ready. Isha was quite but mad at haven been called Zamora it seemed like someone she knew was here. And she was not ready for a confrontation with her, yet.
"That's quite noble, considering you're the reason they're in this position," slithe said. He jumped from the ship to stand in front of the lion next to addicus.
"But three against two?" Addicus said as they walked closer to the two, "That's hardly fair."
They were stop in their track by wood flowers that was thrown at their feets. They looked up to see cheetara twirling her staff. Isha tsk at the sight of her in the hills. She looked back at the enemy not in the mood to be her usual cheerful self.
"Do we even the odds?" Cheetara said as she and Tygra looked down at them.
Tygra stood on another hill next to cheetara "Do you really think we'd let you do this alone?" He asked his brother as they both headed down.
"Well, now were one person less," jackal commented as he looked at Isha.
"Don't worry she doesn't seem like much," Addicus replied as he headed towards Isha.
Isha looked at him with a smirk, "oh, I'm going to enjoy this," she said as she ran towards him.
Tygra slid down from the hill and headed towards Jackal. He used his wipe to try and hit him but Kaynar protected himself with his halberd. The whip got rapped around the wood part of the halberd, and Tygra tried to pull on it. But Kaynar was stronger that he pull the whip from the tigers hand. Tygra ran towards him and tried to take the weapon from him only for the jackal to push him back. Jackal was stronger than him and when Tygra tried to use his pistol Kaynar used the bottom tip of his halberd to throw the gun from his hands.
With Isha, as she dodged the monkeys attack soon cheetara joined her much to her displeasure. Isha looked away from the female cat an a focused on what she was doing. He was by far strong her than her and the better way to fight him was from a distance. She blasted sort at him but he wasn't pushed not even an in. Cheetahs avoided his swings and moved next to Isha, who was behind him.
Addicus began to head towards her with a smirk, "You fight with a lot of discipline," he commented.
Cheetara pointed her staff at the monkey, "Does that mean you can't handle me?" She asked.
Addicus growled then moved towards the female cat, sha threw a ball of wind but the monkey just swung his staff and avoids it. Just as Isha was about to move Cheetara swung her staff at him. Both staff coiled together, both trying to push one another. Isha looked down at Addicus feet, "cheetara-" just then he grabbed the cheetah by her leg with his foot and threw her to the rock wall.
Isha watched as Cheetara hit the wall and slid down unconscious. She turned to look at Addicus, "now it's just you and me," he said as he walked closer to her. Isha stood ready perhaps she needed to find a pair of weapons for herself. She threw a gush of air at him, then made a thin line with the air. Addicus dodged it and the rock behind him was cut with the air.
He looked at her in surprise, making her smirk. "Don't you know wind is strong and can rip trees, taking the roots with it. You'll be easy to throw off," she said.
"Then let see what you can do," he replied as both fought again. Isha tried to stay away from him as much as she could. But she knew her energy was going to run low and she wouldn't be able to fight with her element much longer.
Lion-O stood protected by the spirit stone as slothe kept shooting at her. The lizard came closer and closer to him. He stop shooting and ran towards him, lion-O put down his shield and readied his sword. Both dodged each other's swings and tried to hit one another we never they could.
The captive lizards watched the the two fought. "Let's go!" One said as some began to leave knowing if they stayed they would be dead the next day. "Come on!"
"Maybe I should learn how to eat with my feet!" Panthro complained as he had gotten tire of the sitting and his new arms not working. Aideen rolled her eyes and stared at the door deep in thought. Snarf meowed in her arms making her look down at him. She smiled as down at him and pet his head making him purr.
"Panthro not worry," Ro-bear said as he finish making the adjustment to the panthers arms. "Berbils make adjustment. Arms all fixed."
"Uh-huh," he moved his arm and examined it, "Adjustment looking good." He slammed his fist on the ground making a dent on it.
"Looking good," Ro-bear Bill replied.
Aideen rolled her eyes, "did you really have to do that?" She asked. He looked a at her with a smirk as he clenched his fist.
Aideen and Snarf turn as they heard the door open. Both Wilykit and Kat stood at the entrance. Panthro looked up, "You guys back already
"It's Lion-O!" Wilykit said. Aideen and panthro looked at one another.
Panthro looked at the Berbil, "Somebody fuel up my tank!"
"Berbils make adjustment to Thundertank, too," Ro-bear Bill said. They all when out side to see the tank.
"Looking good," Panthro said as he stared at his new tank.
Kaynar looked around for Tygra as the cat had made himself invisible. "No fair! I can't see you!" Kaynar whined he then began to sniff the air. "Guess it's a good thing I can still smell you," he said as he listed his first punching Tygra who was behind him. Tygra stumbled back a bit, giving Kaynar the time to turn around and punch him harder, throwing him to the ground. He cracked his neck as he walked towards the cat.
Isha was on the ground grabbing her stomach. Her energy had ran low and it had given Addicus the opportunity to hit her with the end of his staff that had a club on. Her stomach and back hurt after getting hit. She took deep breaths as she looked up at the cheetah who was still fighting.
Cheetara dodged and backed away. She kept swinging her staff at the monkey but he would just avoid it by colliding it with his own staff. "Same attack pattern over and over," Addicus said. Just then cheetara touched the tip of staff with the club of his staff, small branches began to rap around the club. Both pushing each other's weapon.
Lion-O's breath was rapid as he had gotten storefront fighting. His sword was on the ground as he held onto it for support. "Look around, Lion-O," Slithe said.
Lion-O glanced behind him and saw his brother tied up. "Surrender, or we'll kill him," Kaynar said as he pointed his halberd at him.
"I believe it your turn to surrender now," Slithe said as the lion looked at his brother.
Lion-O glanced at where Isha was and saw her on the ground holding her stomach. She looked at him with a serious expression trying to tell him she was alright. He looked back at the lizard, "Never!" He said, "There's still two of us!" Just then Cheetara threw her staff on the ground. Surprising Addicus and the lion-O. "Cheetara, what are you doing? I thought we had to stick together!"
"I have to stick with him," Cheetara stated as she gestured to Tygra who looked up and smiled at her.
Isha growled angry at what had just happen. She tried to get up but fell down as her stomach hurt. She turned to see lion get hit by slither. "Lion-O!" She yelled as he fell. 'damn it!' Cheetara then was grabbed by her neck.
The lizard turned to the others, "Kill them in whatever manner amuses you," Slithe said then turned to Isha, "except for the girl, there's someone whose been dying to see her." Isha looked at him with anger and frustration.
"Oooh-hoo-hoo! The possibilities!" Kaynar expressed as his disturbing mind when to a different place. Addicus began to tighten his hold on cheetara trying to suffocate her.
Slithe raised his ace and was ready to strike when there was an explosion. Addicus let for of cheetahs, while kaynar looked away from Tygra. Both cats took the opportunity to stand and move away. Isha master all her strength and stood up walking to where lion-O was.
"Take cover!" Slithe order as he walked away from the lion.
Aideen who had gone ahead of the others ran to him. "Lion-O," she said as she told next to him, "are you okay?" She asked with concern.
Lion-O look up at Aideen surprise to see her there, "Aideen?"
Both cats and human ran to them. "What are you doing here?" Isha asked as she look at her cousin. Before the young girl could answer the thundertank drove towards them. Panthro came from inside and stood in top of the tank. Looking quite... happy.
He extended his new arms and punched Aiddicus, Kaynar, then as slither. He looked at the others, "We'll get plenty more chances to tangle with these beasts. Now, get in!" They ran to get inside the tank. Once inside the tank drove away. Leaving the enemy angry.
Inside the tank, lion-O looked down. Panthro put a hand on his shoulder, "Don't get so down, kid. You only lost the battle, not the war."
"But these new generals," lion-O began, "Their army will be stronger than ever."
"We'll get through this," the panther said, "We just have to stick together."
Aideen walked to him and grabbed his arm. He looked at her and she gave him a smile, "don't worry. Well get strong too. Your not alone, we'll do this together," she said. Lion-O looked at her and could feel himself calm down. No matter what happen she was always there for him.
Isha looked at them with a smile then turn to the couple and a ground appeared on her face. "Hmph, yeah right," she said bitterly.
Aideen turned to her causing with a frown, "Isha," she said with a hint of warning.
"Don't look at me like that," the older girl said as she stood up. "I'm willing to stand by lion-O side no matter what. You think he's a good king and worth following, and I agree. But it seemed some don't understand what stick together mean. Or what loyalty is." With that she gave one last glared at the couple before turning around.
"Wait, Isha," lion-O called making her stop. "Who's Zamora?"
Isha stayed quite longer than usual. Aideen looked at with aquestioning look, "Isha, who's Zamora?"
After a few seconds Isha spoke, "A... girl I us to know. I guess Slithe thought I was her," she said. The name brought so many memories she with to forget, just like Aideen she had many things she didn't share with others. "Anyways, don't know where they got that name, not do I want to know." She then walked a way, her pain already gone.
The halls of the dark pyramid were fill with lizards that were frighten. Alchy could smell their fear, for what she did not know, but was going to find out. She walked towards the heavy metal doors. They slid open letting her see two new creatures with Slithe they, most likely, had just gotten there. 'A monkey and a jackal. Great, more useless animals' she thought as she rolled her eyes. She moved forward getting the attention of the two new soldiers.
"Alchy," Slithe said but was ignored.
Alchy turned to stand in front of them her hand on her hip. "If you're looking for Lord Mumm-Ra, hes resting. You may talk to him in a few minutes. I hope you didn't mess this up Slithe," She warned with venom in her voice. "I have been hearing your little army have been turning their backs on you. Seems they don't listen to you anymore, though I can't blame them. There just as pathetic as you."
Kaynar began to laugh as Slithe growled at her. Alchy raised an eyebrow at them, "Who are you?"
"Where Mumm-Ra's new generals. You better show respect to us," Addicus said as he looked at her, unafraid.
Alchy laughed, "Me? Show respect to you?" she was amused at there attitude to think there would be someone who wasn't afraid. Now, that was amusing. "Please, unless you show you can do better work than," she gestured to Slithe, "him then all consider showing someway of respect. Until then, don't get in my way. If you do lets just say, neither one of you will live long enough to see the next day." With that she kept walking not bothering to look at them. Her mind on her next plan, if things go right soon she would get the stone with darkness.
"Well have to show her, who shes messing with," Addicus said with a smirk as he thought of what to do with the human.
Slithe knew what she could do and knew she was Mumm-Ra's most loyal subject. But he wasn't worried much about Mumm-Ra but rather the Spirits that the mummy serve, for whatever reason they were pleased with Alchy and knew they had granted her with the magic she has now. "I wouldn't mess with her if I were you," he warned.
"Were not scared of a- whatever she is," Kaynar said as he too thought of what to do to show the human who she was messing with.
Slithe turned to them, "I would if i were you. She's Mumm-ra's most loyal subject and has the blessings from the spirits of darkness. She may not look like much but she has done horrible acts. She even went to the extend as to kill members of her family. Including her twin sister, Irene. She will get rid of anyone who gets in her way," he said, then turned and began to walk away.
