Curse of Ratilla

"Wait," Sharrod raised his hand to stop the girl from continuing talking. "Your telling me your brother, the super over protective brother, dated the girl who almost killed you?" he asked with disbelief in his voice.

Aideen rolled her eyes at him. She had told him what had happen in her life and asked him not to interrupt after she was done he finally asked the question that was bothering him. She wasn't that surprise he would ask that. "Yes, but like I said he was also being used," she repeated herself.

"Yeah, but, I mean this is Zane we are talking about. He wouldn't put anyone above you. Trust me when he was younger he was always cautious on who came close to you." He remember all those times the older boy made sure no one got close to his sister as he was always worried they would hurt her. Sharrod was having a hard time understanding why her brother would even think of dating a girl that had hurt his sister.

"He didn't know she was bad," the girl said as she took a sip from her cup. "I didn't know she was bad. And part of me still thinks she's not."

The brown dog looked at her as she had her eyes caste down. He put a hand over her hand making her look up at him. "You've always gave people another change and tried to look at the good of everything. That part of you has never change," he told her meaning every word he said. "If you think there is good in her then reach out to her and find out what happen that made her like this."

She smiled at him, "You're right." He was right she needed to know what happen between her and Julie. What drove her to became the person she was right now. She knew Julie was still good after all there were certain occasions that the blond hair girl helped her. If she was really as twisted as she showed herself to be then Aideen would have been dead long ago. She knew she was and she needed to show her that Aideen didn't hate her and that she was here for her.

Sharrod smiled at her before taking a sip from his alcoholic beverage. "It's still weir that your brother dated your friend," he commented.

She let out a small laugh, "if it makes you feel better, he never kissed her. She had tried to make it happen, but he never did. It annoyed her far more than she let him know."

"I can imagine," the dog let out a laugh. He sat straight and looked at her with a serious expression. "Alright you told me how your life was and now it's my turn to tell you what you have forgotten.. or at least part of it." She looked at him with an annoying look. He raised his hands in defense, "Hey, I may not be a magician like the clerics are but I know that what you have been put on is powerful magic. I'm only going to tell you the basic and some other things."

She let out a sigh knowing something like that was going to happen. She had already experience headaches as to much in formation was told to her and understood that all they wanted was to make sure she didn't get hurt. "Fine," she let out. Before he could even begin to speak he was interrupted.

"Aideen," a familiar voice called. They both turn to see Lion-O and Isha walking towards them. Lion-O had his arm bandage and looked to be better than she thought he would be. Isha looked at her companion with a frown.

"Who are you?" she question, well more like demanded to know, when they were standing in front of them.

The young girl rolled her eyes at her cousins over protectiveness. Sharrod raised and eyebrow at her, "She's very over protective of you, isn't she?"

"You have no idea," the girl replied as she turn to her cousin and friend. "Lion-O, Isha this is Sharrod my brother's childhood friend." She then turn to Sharrod, "Sharrod this is Lion-O lord of the thundercats and my cousin Isha."

"Cousin?" he question with a surprising look. "Your uncle or crazy aunt?"

Isha frowned at that but didn't say anything to defend her mother. Aideen rolled her eyes, "my aunt Alchy."

The dog gave a nod of understanding and didn't mention the girls mother. He could see the protective look the older girl was giving him making him raise his hands in defense. "I'm not doing anything or am a danger to this girl here. In fact, I've know her seen she was very little," the dog added.

Isha raised an eyebrow at him not believing him at all. She turn to the younger girl, "So your telling me you remember him?" she question.

"Well," the girl began as she looked at him, "More like I remember the necklaces he's wearing and that my brother has the same one. I do remember having meet him and that my brother introduced him as his friend."

"Well, It's nice to meet you," Lion-O said. He knew the older girl was still wary of this new 'friend' but he didn't see anything wrong with it. In fact he was glade that there was someone who knew Aideen perhaps he could help her remember thing that she had forgotten. He then turn to Aideen, "We need to leave."

She frowned at him, "Why?" she asked.

"There's a mining operation in mount Plun-darr," Lion-O began, "There using cat's as slaves there. Where going to go rescue them."

Aideen gave a nod and stood up ready to leave with them but was stop by Sharrod. She frowned and looked down at him. "You better be careful. That place," he said as he remember having seen the dark mountain. "There's something dark there." He smiled at her, "wouldn't want you to get hurt, princess."

"Princess?" Aideen and Lion-O question before turning to look at one another then looked back at him.

Sharrod stood up as well as they all left the small cafe. "Yes, princess," he put a hand on her shoulder, "you're princess of out country. Wither it stands now or not you will always be our beloved princess." He gave her a small bow before taking her hand and kissing it. "Well talk more when you get back. Just look for me or all look for you."

They watch him leave, Aideen more confuse and without any answers about her past. She let out a sigh and turn to the other before looking at them in confusing at their annoyed looks. "What?" she asked, they looked down but didn't say anything.

"Come on the other's are waiting," Lion-O said as he turn around began to walk way.

They didn't talk at all as they made their way towards the tank or even when they were inside. Lion-O wanted to apologies for his reckless but he didn't say anything or didn't know how to start. Aideen just kept thinking that she just told her whole life to a person who she barely remembered and didn't get answers about her old life, with the exception of her being princess. The other's just looked between the two teens wondering what happen and why they were sitting on opposite ends. Isha and Tygra were sitting next to her while Cheetara and Pumyra were with Lion-O.

Finally Aideen spoke up, "So," they turn to her, "what exactly are they looking in that mountain?"

They all turn to Pumyra for answers. "They want to dig up the sword of Plun-darr," she answered.

Lion-O and Aideen's eyes widen at what they had heard. They had seen the powers of that sword and knew that if Mum-Ra got his hands on it he would be far more powerful than he already was. "The sword of Plun-darr," the young girl repeated. She looked up at the puma and her eyes widen, she hadn't looked at the female cat from up close but at the moment she could see a dark aura surrounding her. Almost as dark as Mumm-Ra's.

Pumyra looked at her, "What?" she said with a hint of annoyance at being looked at.

Aideen frowned at her before clenching her hand. "Nothing, just wondering why they would need cat to get the sword," she lied.

"That rat doesn't want to get it himself and instead sends cats to retrieve it," Pumyra clenched her fist in anger, "so many died from cave collision."

The young girl turn away from her as the other's began to ask her questions. There was something odd about Pumyra. Why would she have such a dark aura surrounding her. Maybe it's just her anger that she hasn't been able to let go, she thought to herself. Why are you all quite? she question the voices but got no answer. They hadn't talk to her or warned her of any danger. She was worried of what this would mean and whether this was bad or not.

They watched at the cats walked were cuffed and guarded by rats. Aideen couldn't help but feel sorry for them. While Isha just stared without an emotionless expression. Part of her, the part that she seemed to never get rid of, kind of found the situation funny. She knew about the rule of the cats and how they got everything and left the other animals with little food. Now they were the once used as slaves, the way fate worked always seemed to amaze her.

"I can't stand seeing out people treated like this," cheetara said.

Pumyra turn to her, "Try living it." She turn back to the scene in front of her, "For months, I suffered lashing from rodents." She glazed at Lion-O before looking back, "We gave up hope of being save long ago." Isha frowned at that she knew that if she had been whipped by them there would be scare left which she didn't see from the way she was dress. She didn't question her though.

Lion glanced at her then turn to look back down. "Today they will go free. That's a promise," he said.

"You say it's the sword of Plum-darr that old rat is digging for?" Panthro asked. Pumyra nodded making Aideen raise and eyebrow at her. She looked a way as she had that same feeling again. There was something wrong here she could feel it. Even without the voices telling her the puma was lying she knew she was. She just felt it.

"If what I learn through the book of Omen's is true," the young lion began making them all turn to him. "It's power rivals my own sword. If Mumm-Ra finds that weapon, it may not matter if we get to the other stones."

"Then while you free slaves I'll take care of the sword," Cheetara said as she stood up.

Tygra stood soon after, "I'm coming whit you."

"Don't think I can handle it alone?"

"Why would you want to," he began, "when you can handle it with me?"

Panthro shook his head, "Oh, brother."

Isha made gagging sounds as she looked away. "Oh god, please no!" she said making them all turn to her. Tygra glared while Aideen merely rolled her eyes.

The red-brown hair girl turn to her cousin, "I think you should go with them."

Isha turn to her with wide eyes, "What?!" she exclaimed a she stood up. "Me, go with them?" she pointed at them before shaking her head, "no, no way!"

The young girl glared at her, "they may need help."

"And?! I don't want to go!"

Aideen stood up and glared at her cousin, "Fine, then I'll go."

Isha looked at her. Should she let her cousin go to a place were she could end up getting kill? Or getting hit by those rats? She groaned before throwing her hand in the air. "Fine, I'll go!" she said before getting ready to go. She glared at the girl, but Aideen just rolled her eyes.

Lion-O stood up as they three of them began to leave. He stood in front of Cheetara, "Be careful," he said. She smile and nodded at him before continuing. Tygra glanced at him and Isha just kept walking but not before looking his way.

"You better make sure nothing happens to her," she said as she gave a warning look. He nodded with a serious expression before his eyes turn to Cheetara who was leaving. He watched them leave not noticing Pumyra walking towards him.

"You like her, don't you?" she asked with a knowing look.

Aideen glace at them but other wise kept her eyes on the place before her. She wanted to remember the whole place from this point of view if things went wrong she wanted to make sure she had a back up plan. That being her use of stealth.

Lion-O turn to Pumyra before looking away, "No- I mean- ye-" he stumbled, "I'm over it." He glanced at Aideen but notice her to busy to notice him. He could see her looking down below as if she was memorizing the whole place.

His attention turn back to pumyra as she looked at him with a soft expression. "Maybe it's time you move on to someone else," she suggested. He was taken back by her suggestion. He could see Aideen turn to them from the corner of his eye with a frown on her face before she turn back away. He frowned then as he thought about Aideen and his growing feeling for her. He shook his head as he pushed those thoughts to the back of his mind. They couldn't happen and there was no way they could happen. But with Pumyra...

Panthro who had been hearing what he said turn to Aideen whose attention was anywhere but at what was in front of her. The older cat knew about her conflict feelings and decided to step between the two cats. "Enough flirting," he said, "Let's do something about those slaves."

Isha looked at the tiger with raise eyebrow. Cheetara had gotten some clocks for them to wear and Tygra had gotten hand cuffs. She didn't think his plan would work. She walked behind the two cats making sure to stay close to them. They were in a line following other cat's towards the mines entrance. "This is a terrible idea," the older girl stated as she looked around her at the rats.

"I agree with her," Cheetara said as she turn to her boyfriend.

"It's the surest way to get us to the dig site," Tygra defended. He lifted his arms showing the unlocked cuffs, "besides, this chains aren't even locked."

Isha rolled her eyes at him, "yeah, for now."

Tygra frowned at her, "Well what your plan for making them think your a cat?" he question.

The older girl looked at him with a smirk. "Well, if you must know, I was after all Tigris apprentice," the girl stated. Tygra turn to her at the mention of his mother. He knew Isha was her apprentice but what she was taught by her, she didn't say. "I was tough many things from her. One thing being illusion. You'll see when the time comes."

Just then a rat called towards them. "Hey! You three!" Isha smirked at the situation. They stop, along with the whole line, and waited for the rat to walk towards them. He looked at their faces making Cheetara and Tygra look down not showing their whole face. The rat then looked towards Isha who didn't even mind lowering her head. "Wait, you-" he was interrupted by the girls gaze. She looked at him and used her power to altered her appearance, making her look like a frighten cat. A shimmer crossed the rats eyes before he shook his head. He looked back at her but the girl looked just like a cat. Shaking his head once more he looked down at their hand cuffs and closed them. "That's better," he said, "Wouldn't want you running of and getting hurt." He walked away to check the other cat's cuffs.

"Well at least this will make our disguised more convincing," the Tiger said as he turn to Cheetara.

Cheetara looked down at her cuffs, letting out a sigh, she smile at him, "Your lucky your cute," she said.

Great getting stuck with the love bird is such a good thing, Isha thought as she looked at her cuffed hands. She hatted the feeling of being cuffed. It was just like back then. Feeling someone look at her Isha lifted her eyes to look at the two cats. "What?" she asked.

"What did you do?" the cheetah question. Tygra looked at her with the same questioning look.

Isha merely shrugged, "Illusion, just like I said. Tigris was good at that, but her power is far more stronger than mine. I can only alter my appearance in their mind while she can alter much more."

Cheetara frowned at this knew in formation. She didn't know there was someone like that and Jaga never told her that it was possible. "But that type of magic.." she trade off.

"Doesn't exists?" Isha finish for her. The cheetah gave a nod. "Well, it's not magic, more like something she was born with. I never truly knew how she could do that but... well there were many thing that she kept to herself."

Tygra looked down, "did she ever talk about her son?" he question and waited for the answer with his gaze lowered.

Isha glanced at him before looking up at the sky. "Always," she answer making him look at her with a surprise expression. "She always spoke about her son. She cried for him and never gave up looking for him, but..." her eyes darken as she thought of what had happen. She shook her head, "anyways can't talk about her, remember?"

With that they continent walking. The tiger looked at the half-human knowing she was hiding something big. Something very important.

Aideen and the rest kept themselves hidden and way from the rat's view. Pumyra took the liberty of staying next to Lion-O while Aideen kept next to Panthro. Her eyes looked around her everywhere but at the two in front of her. She didn't know why she was bother by it. Lion-O could choose whoever he wanted to and be with whoever he wish to be wish. But that didn't stop the feeling that stir withing her at hearing the pumas suggestion. She tried to push those feelings way, but when she saw both of them together.. well it just made her even more confused.

They kept moving forward until they saw an old cat sitting behind a rock. Lion-O looked at him and grabbed a bowl of water. "Here drink this," Lion-O said as the other's stood behind him.

The old cat's eyes widen as he looked at the young king. "Lion-O, my king, has return," he let out as he took the bowl of water and began to drink it.

"I only wish I'd came sooner," the young king replied with regret in his voice.

Aideen moved away from them as she scanned the area. They couldn't stay her to long, she knew the rat's would come and check this place. They seemed to keep a tight guard on the cats. She turn back to the cat as he began to speak.

"They said that you wouldn't come back," he said as he looked down at the water. "That you'd forgotten. I knew you would," he looked up at his king, "I never lost hope."

"Who did this to you?" panthro question with a bit of anger.

The old cat pointed towards the distance, "they did." They turn to where he pointed only to see, by the thunder light, a rat whipping someone. Aideen clenched her fist feeling anger at seeing someone being treated like that. Pumyra though was furies.

She growled and got ready to ran towards that direction only to be stopped by Lion-O. "Stick to the plan they will all be free soon enough," he said, but Pumyra just hit him away and ran towards the rat. Panthro and Lion-O shared a look before the young king ran after her.

"Oh, cripes," the panther let out as he ran after his king.

Aideen threw her hands on the air a she realized the plan was all thrown away thanks to a cat who had anger issues. She let out a sigh and instead of following after them decided to follow her back up plan. She looked down at the cat, "Do you know where the other cats are?" she question.

"Your not a cat," he said as he looked at her face.

The girl just looked at him, "No, I'm not.. well sort of," she began before shaking her head. There was no need to explain her situation to no one at the moment. "Look, I'm a friend of Lion-O's. Since he seems to busy trying to save a cat, who let her anger take the best of her, then I will do what we had come here to do. Which is to free your kind. Now where are they?"

The cat pointed towards the opposite direction, "they gather them there to work the min. Other's are taken towards the min's entrance in order to search for the sword."

She nodded before looking down at him. She didn't know much about healing or anything like that, but had discover that her water can used to heal people and that had picked her interest. The only had thing was that she didn't know anyone who was a healer. Thankful her brothers had taught her how to know if someone had life threatening injuries or miner injuries. "Are you hurt anywhere?" she asked.

He shook his head, "No, I will be alright."

"Okay, but you should go to a place where the rats wont find you," she said as she got ready to leave. "I will free the other."

"Thank you," he said as he looked at her, "Your very kind."

She shook her head, "No, I'm just doing what is right." With that she left. Using the shadows she navigated her way away threw the camp. Well at least the other's can work as decoy, she thought as she saw a few rats ran towards the Lion-O and the two cats. She remember the place from where she had seen it and went the ways she knew would cover her. Unfortunately she also encounter some rats.

"Alright, who's next?" the rat guard asked as he looked at the group of cat's in front of him. "Don't all jump at once. At the rate were losing cat's you'll all get your chance." The cat's all backed away frighten at what he had said. Some of them where hurt and bandage up, but the rats didn't seem to care. He looked towards a pair of cats, "How about.."

"Well go," Cheetara said. The crowed began to mutter as they all turn towards the three cloaked individuals.

"Finally some brave cats," the rat said with a swing his whip. "Let's see if your cockiness saves you from the swords curse." Isha frowned at that but didn't say anything instead they walked toward the rats who unlocked their cuffs before they walked toward the platform. Pushing the handle they were lower down. Once down enough they began to take of their cloaks.

"Did he say curse?" the cheetah question.

"It's probably just superstition to keep the slaves scared," Tygra replied.

"Yeah, right," Isha mutter as she looked crossed her arms.

"I hope your right," cheetara said.

"I'm right about everything."

Isha turn to him with a frown, "No, your not." The tiger turn around ready to say something when the cable broke. They yelled as they began to fall down. Cheetara extended her staff to grab onto the walls and stop her fall. Tygra used his whip to grab onto the staff. Isha looked at them as she stop her fall by using her element power. She let out a sigh before hearing the platform crash beneath them creating a cloud of dust. She grim down at the sound and flew closer to the two hanging cats.

Cheetara looked at the tiger, "No curse, huh?" she said sarcastically.

Tygra looked down as he kept a grim on his whip, "I'm still not convince," he said. He then turn towards the cheetah,"But if there was, it'd be no match for the two of us." Both smiled at one another before they turn towards Isha who made gagging sounds.

"Agrh!" she let out as she looked away from them. "You two are so cheesy, it's gross. Keep your love struck looks away from me."

Tygra rolled his eyes at her while cheetara looked down. "How are we going to get down?" she asked before both cat's turn toward Isha.

"What?" the girl question.

"Well don't you have something that could get us out of this?" Tygra asked.

Isha let out a sigh as she looked to the side of the walls. She put her hands forward before pulling them back as she did this the walls turn into stairs. The two cats moved along the staff until the touched the path way. Isha kept herself in the air preferring to lower herself slowly as the other two walked down the earth made stairs. "I hope the other's are having better luck than us," she mutter as she set foot on the ground.

Aideen kept herself hidden in the shadows occasionally knocking some rats out and tying them up. Whenever she saw a cat she set them free, they looked at her in surprise but after explaining that she was here with Lion-O they thank her and went to hid for the moment. She knew she couldn't keep on this up and soon she would get caught but she kept on going. Soon she found herself a few feet from a group of cats.

She scanned the are before her eyes landed on a cat. "What do you think your doing?!" A rat shouted as a cat was on the ground breathing hard. A little girl ran towards him as she hugged the older cat.

"No, papa," the little girl said as she hugged him.

The rat looked at her and tried to push her away, but the little girl grabbed onto her father. "Fine if you won't move then you will get punish as well," the rat said as he lifted his whip.

The cat grabbed his daughter as he tried to shield her. Aideen clenched her fist as she saw what was about to happen. Ditching the shadows she ran towards them. Just at the rat was about to whip the two cats he was grabbed from under by a branch. Some of the other rats turn around trying to find where it had come from. They spotted Aideen running towards them with her swords lifted.

She dodged all of the rats attack and knocked some of them out. She moved from sided to side, kicking and punching the guards that were close to her. Some tried to leave and to them she used her power of earth to grab them. She still wasn't fully used to her other powers but slowly her control of earth was becoming better. Using her water she froze a rope around them in order to not let them runaway. Turning around she walked towards the cats.

The father grabbed his daughter and pulled her behind him thinking that Aideen was a threat. The half-human let out a sigh knowing she would get this kind of reaction. Slowly she approached them, "I'm not going to hurt you," she said as she knelled in front of the father. "I'm here to set you free. Your king, Lion-O is also here. I came with him," at the mention of the young kind the cat relaxed a bit.

She grabbed his hands and unlocked his cuffs. Then turn around and undid the girls. She looked at her, "Are you alright? He didn't hurt you did he?" she asked with a bit of worry.

The small girl shook her head, "No, I'm okay," she replied. Tilting her head she looked at the half-shannen, "What are you, miss?"

Aideen smiled down at her, "Does it matter what I am?" she asked.

She shook her head before smiling at her, "do you know our king?"

The brown-red hair girl nodded, "yes, I'm a friend." She then turn to the older cat, "you should hid while you can. That place," she pointed towards her side in a small area that was cover by shadows, "is no longer guarded. Take something to protect your self. I need to get the other's free."

The grey cat nodded, "Thank you," he said as he grabbed his daughter and left to where she told him. She watched at the little girl waved at her before they were cover by the shadows.

She smile sadly where the two had left. She wounder when she will remember her father. If he was alive or if he had left this world without her saying goodbye. She closed her eyes as sadness creep into her heart. If there's someone she wants to remember the most is her father. If there is events in her life she wishes to remember more are the once she spent with him. Taking a deep breath she open here eyes, there was no time for sadness she had people to free.

With that she headed back into the shadows and kept on going. Soon she came across a group of cats that were circle together. A large hole stood in front of them, her guess was that the sword of Plun-darr was down there. She hid in the shadows making sure none of the rats notice her.

"Do you think we should send someone else?" one of the ratsa asked the guard with the whip.

"Well give them a few more minutes," he replied. "Besides we need new equipment if we want to lower them down." He looked at the broken roped.

Aideen frowned before she looked at one of the rats that was close her her. She smile as she grabbed him from behind without the others noticing. After tying him up she got out her swords. Lets hope this plan works, she thought as she slowly began to move out of the shadows.

They walked along the path light by Tygras light. Isha looked around feeling the darkness that was in this place but as well there was also some light. There was two different types of energy here good and bad and her guess was that it was coming from the sword and whatever was stopping them from coming here.

Cheetara looked around her then turn to Tygra, "The platform falling?"

"Was a coincidence," the tiger replied. Just then the light began to flicker as it was turn of and on. He grabbed it and made it work once again.

"Now the torch is going out," she observed.

"Shoddy equipment," he replied.

Isha sensed something and turn to the tiger, "and the cat's who died?" she question.

Tygra turn to her, "We only heard that cat's died, it not like-" he trialed off as Isha pointed to something in the distance. He light the light to where she was pointing and saw the cats dead skeleton. He gave a grim look before forcing a smile towards the two girl, "Look, if we stick together we can survive what-"

"Look out!" Cheetara yelled as she slammed Tygra away. isha let out a yelp as she moved away from from where she was. A spike stood where the tiger had been. Isha looked at the spike then back at the tiger. She gesture to the fallen rock then towards him, "What do you call this?!"

Tygra looked at Cheetara who was glaring at him, "A freak accident." Just as he said that the cave began to rubble. They ran as the rest of the spikes began to fall.

"Tygra, stop making things worst!" Isha yelled as they all avoided being killed. They moved to the side of the tunnels as the rumbling stop. Both girl turn to Tygra with a glared.

"Or not," he said.

Isha glared at him, "Oh, but your never wrong," she mucked.

Cheetara turn away from the two as she saw what was ahead of her. "Look," she said making them turn to her. Inside a large crystal was the gauntlet and sword of Plun-darr. They walked towards it as it gave a red glow.

"I have a bad feeling about this," Isha commented as they all stood in front of the crystal.

"The sword of Plun-darr must be in there," Cheetara said as she looked at the crystal. Isha didn't need her to say that she knew it was in there. The girl could feel it's dark energy. "There's an energy around it." She touched the crystal before turning to the tiger.

"So, how do we get it out?" Tygra asked.

"I know it sounds strange," Cheetara began, they turn to her as she continue, "but the magic I sens, it feels like Jaga's work." She looked down at her glowing staff. "And that magic flows threw me as well."

Isha looked at the crystal before turning to them. "Do you think it's a good idea to release the sword from... whatever this is?" she asked.

"We can't let Mumm-Ra get it," cheetara replied.

The half-human looked back at the crystal, "I know but.." she felt like if the sword was taken from them they would be doing Mum-Ra a favor and getting it out of them. "I don't know I have a very bad feeling about this."

Both cat's turn to one another before Isha and Tygra stepped back. Cheetara twirled her staff before hitting the glass with the tip. The crystal shatter reveling the sword of Plun-darr. Tygra turn to cheetara, "That's my girl," he said, "See, told you all that nonsense about that thing being-"

"Shut up!" Isha yelled as she stop him from continue. "You will jinx this. Whenever you speak you jinx it. Now, shut up and don't say anything."

Tygra raised his hands before rolling his eyes. He step forward and tried to pull the gauntlet out but it was stuck. Cheetara moved forward and put her hand over his before they both began to pull. They finally got it out then looked at each other they.

Isha just rolled her eyes at the looks they were giving. She turn around as the cave began to rumble again. "Oh, great," she let out as she saw part of the ceiling beginning to fall.

The young king, Pumyra, and Panthro were all lines up and knelled down as a small rat was behind then with a scythe on his hands. Lion-O was glade Aideen wasn't here as he didn't know what would happen to her. He still worried as he didn't know where she would have gone. Then again knowing her she would have stuck to the plan and freed the other cats.

"It was your mercy that got us into this," Pumyra said.

"And I'll get us out of this," Lion-O replied. The small rat walked behind then and raised his weapon ready to strike before panthro turn to him.

"Maybe you should start with me," Panthro said before he turn to then young king. "He's gonna get us out of this." Soon after their attention turn as an earthquake shook the ground. The whole place began to rumble, the pillar were beginning to fall along with ceiling tiles. Some of rat guards ran away, the king tried to leave before a rock feel where he was standing. Soon everything began to collapse.

Aideen looked around as the whole place began to shake. She had successfully taken the rat guards and was currently unlocking the cats from their chains when the ground began to shake. She turn to the nearest cat, "make sure to unlock all of the other's cuffs." She handed him the keys before walking towards the place where shew as sure Lion-O and the other where. She watched as many large rocks fell from the side of the mountain and other equipment fell.

She stop as she heard the yelling of some cats. She saw some of them on the ground as a large rocks fell towards them. She extended her hands in front of her making the earth stand and make an arch on top of the cats. "Get out of there!" she yelled as she saw the rocks beginning to break the wood she had created.

The cats all got out as she made a path way for them to ran out of without the rocks hitting them. She could feel her hold beginning to slip as the cats came to a clear area, away from any equipment or rock falling. She turn to the, "are you all okay?" she asked getting a nod as her answer. "Here somewhere safe."

With that she kept walking forward, hopping her cousin and the other were alright.

"Should we make a run for it?" Tygra question.

Isha looked around her as chunks of rocks fell. "Well, never make it," she said.

He turn towards cheetara, "your fast enough to get out of here, go!"

"You know I'd never leave you behind," she replied.

Isha turn to them as she frowned. "Your forgetting I'm here as well?" she said in disbelief but was ignore by the two love struck cats.

Tygra turn to cheetara and grabbed her by the arms, "if this is out last moment together."

"Hello, still here," Isha said as she waved her hand around.

"Then we've better make the most of it," he said. He listed his hand up and touched her cheek looking at her lovely before kissing her.

She let out a groan of frustration at begin ignore. "Oh come one!" she shouted, "I'm suppose to die with this two love struck cats! I wanted to go out with a bang, not watching them kiss!" Isha looked around her as more rocks fell. She didn't have much energy left after using most of it on the illusion. She prayed to whatever spirit that was watching her to not let her die like this and that she promise to burn some food as an offering. Few minutes later the rumbling stop.

Cheetara and Tygra pulled away and looked around them. "We..We survived," the cheetah said, in disbelief.

"Told ya sticking together would save us from the curse," the tiger said.

"I think we just got lucky."

"Your right," he agreed, "We did."

Isha bowed to her knees as she lifted her hands in the air. They both turn to her startled by her action. "Thank you, whatever spirit that heard my prayers, for not letting me die with this two idiots!"

"Hey!" they protested but where ignore by Isha.

"Man, this cave sure makes weir sounds," she said as she looked around pretending they weren't there. She began to walk away ignoring that they were there.

Tygra let out a sigh, "Okay, sorry we ignore you," he apologies.

Isha turn to him in surprise as if she realize he was here. "Oh, hey I didn't notice you two," she said with an innocent smile.

Aideen ran towards the castle she looked around. The whole thing had collapse and few remains of the place was left. "Lion-O!" she called. Hearing something move she ran towards the sound and notice Lion-O move the fallen stone away. She was about to call him when she saw the rat king dress in a samurai like helmet and yellow and blue cloths stood behind him, "Lion-O, behind you!" she yelled.

The young kind turn to her before turning to look back. He was punched in the face by Ratar-O, the rats dictator, "Not much of a king, are you?" he said before he kicked Lion-O.

"I pulled my people out from under ground. Built this mind, enslave your pathetic kind, and will soon rule over all I survey, and you?"

Lion-O looked up at him, "I'm just getting started." He stood up and ran towards him, pushing him and sending him back. He glanced towards Aideen who was a few feet from him. "Check on Panthro and Pumyra! I'll deal with this."

The girl nodded and did what he told her. He watched her leave before turning back to Ratar-O. "You're a tyrant who rules by fear," he said. "Your people are just slaves on the other side of the whip!"

"But my people are still standing

Aideen turn to where the lion was as she saw movement behind him from the corner of her eye. She watched at the small rat dress in blue and yellow cloths with a eye patch on his right eye, lifted his scythe. She turn to lion-O as he looked behind him but didn't do anything. She wanted to see if this rat was actually going to make a move. She had a feeling he wasn't and wanted to know if she was right

"Well?! Kill him you dolt," the rat kind order. Mordax looked at the kind before lowering his weapon. This action made Ratar-O angry, "What are you waiting for?!"

"I'm trying to figure out why this cat treated me better than you," Mordax replied.

Ratar-O was taken back by that, "Kill him!" he order.

Mordax threw the weapon down, "Kill him yourself." He turn around and began to walk away until something caught his eye. He looked down at the sword of Omens and gauntlet turning around he kicked the sword, landing on the lions side. Lion-O smiled at the small rat as Ratar-O gasped. Mordax left laughing as Lion-O lifted the sword up.

Aideen smiled at the small rat as he left. Guess she was right after all. She turn back to see Lion-O lift and put on the gauntlet before taking out the sword. He lunched forward sword in hand. The young girl turn away as she went to check on both Panthro and Pumyra as the two kings fought against one another. Using her power of earth she lifted the rocks off the panthro then Pumyra. She looked over them and found no big injuries but they were still unconscious.

Her attention turn back to them as she saw a blue beam of light coming out of Ratar-O's swords. As it hit Lion-O the young king was lunched forward, "Lion-O!" she shouted but the lion told her to stay were she was. She looked as the rat king was about to shot another beam of light towards him. Lion-O lifted his gauntlet up and shield against the attack with the spirit stone. He stood up and return the attack back to him, sending him towards the stairs to his shatter throne. He lost conscious soon after.

Lion-O looked at Rata-O before he was tackle into a hug. He looked down at Aideen as he steadied himself before he fell down. She then looked at him, "I thought you were going to lose for a second there," she said as she looked for any injury's he might have gotten, but found nod.

He smiled down at her, "You thought I was going to lose? Do you have little faith in me?" he teased making her smile.

"Of course not," she said as she playfully push him. She looked into his eyes as she said the next thing. "I never stop believing in you, but that doesn't mean I don't worry about you getting hurt."

"I'm fine," he replied as he looked down at her. He knew that deep down now one could compare to Aideen. She believed in him no matter what he did. What actions he took. She was supportive of him and understanding. She made him realize his mistakes and didn't blame his for many of them. He knew his feeling for her but.. he couldn't be let them progress further. It was hard for him not to feel that way after all there were moments like this one that both forgot about everything and just stayed in the moment between he two.

Aideen looked down as he kept looking at her. She felt his hand touch her chin and lifted her face in order for her eyes to meet his. His teal color eyes, full of kindness and curiosity. She felt that warmth again but this time she didn't move away. He looked down at her eyes, "I'm sorry for making you worried," he said in a soft voice.

She shook her head, knowing what he was talking about, "it's fine. We all make mistakes. Beside your mistakes always lead to somewhere else, to something good." She looked down his before grabbing it then looked up at him. She gave a small smile, "where just to different. You have responsibilities I don't understand. You have your people to take care of and they will, and have, to always the first think in your mind."

Lion-O smiled at her, "really? Because I feel like were the same in many important areas," he replied. She smiled brighter at him knowing he was right. Both stared at one another until they hear panthro waking up. She let go of his hand as she walked towards him.

"What happen?" the panther question.

The young king looked at his friend with a smile on his face. His smile then turn sad. He couldn't let his feeling grown. He couldn't let the friendship they had change into something that could not be. He knew she had been hurt and didn't want to like anyone, let alone be with them in that way. Letting out a sigh before his attention turn toward Pumyra who was waking up. Pushing those feeling away he walked towards the girl to help her sit up.

She looked at him as he moved her arm around his shoulder. "Told ya I'd get us out of this," he told he with a smile.

The pumas eye's soften as she looked at him, "Perhaps there is mercy in our struggle."

Aideen watched them smile at one another before she turn away from them. A hand touched her shoulder, she didn't need to know who is was. "You okay kid?" the panther asked.

She smile up at him knowing what he was talking about. "Yeah," she answer, "it's for the best."

"Is it?" he asked with a knowing look. Her smile fell before she looked back at the two. Her emotions becoming more complicated than she wanted them to.

Aideen watched as the cats all began to leave. The same old cat from before stood in front of them. "Thank you, my king," he said before turning towards her, "Thank you-"

"Aideen," she said with a smile, "just call me Aideen."

He nodded, "thank you, Aideen."

Lion-O looked at his freined before turning back to the old cat. "Rata-O fled back underground," he informed. After they made sure that Panthro and Pumyra could move they discover that Ratar-O had escaped mostlikely back to the place he had come from. "You'll be same in the old settle just out side the ruins of Thundera." The cat's eyes widen before he thank him again. The lion watched as he walked away with the others.

"Miss," a small voice called making them all turn towards a small kitten. Aideen remember the girl being the one she had saved along with her father. "This is for you," she handed her a small black woven bracelet with blue beads. "As a thank you for saving me and my father."

Aideen looked at it them then smiled at her as she accepted the girl before putting it on her wrist. "Thank you," she said before they left to follow the rest of the cats. She turn to see Lion-O looking at her with a smile one she return.

Panthro turn to look at them before speaking, "That every cat accounted for," he said, "except Tygra and cheetara. Not to mention Isha. What if they couldn't find the sword?"

They thought about the possibility before someone spoke. "As if there was any doubt," Tygra said as he walked towards the.

Isha instantly ran towards Aideen with a hug. The young girl looked at her before pushing her away. "What's wrong, Isha?" she asked.

Tygra and Cheetara stood in front of them and laid the gauntlet and sword on the ground. Isha turn to them and pointed at them, "I almost died and they were kissing! Never leave me alone with them," the girl exclaimed.

Aideen rolled here eyes before letting out a sigh. She turn the tiger and cheetah, "seriously?"

Tygra just shrugged, "what if I'm going to die might as well die together."

Isha gagged as Aideen rolled her eyes. "Can we focus on the mission ahead, please," the young girl said as she looked at the gauntlet.

"This isn't a weapon for cats to weld," Cheetara said as they all turn to the sword. She turn to look at Lion, "We should take it to the tower of Omens before Mumm-Ra learns it's been unearths." Some how Isha doubted he didn't already knew about it.

"It's to late for that," Panthro said, they turn to him as he pointed towards the horizon.

They all turn and saw the lizard army heading towards them. Aideen grim at what this meant. Mumm-Ra was close.
